Ukraine
One of the largest munitions depot near Kharkov is on fire.
Thousands of people are being evacuated from Balakleya in the Kharkov region
Anatolii Matios, a Deputy Prosecutor-General of Ukraine, posted on his FB account a message saying that the fire was the result of the sabotage and that the depot had about 138,000 tons of munition.
Not to rain on his parade, but historically it’s an established practice for Ukraine to blew up their munition depots after everything inside had been appropriated illegally.
For region’s sake, let’s hope that everything has been sold to Donetsk, before this fire.

March 20 2017, Ukraine – NATO armed forces continue their assault of the territory of Donbass that is currently under their occupation. A video of the Ukraine shelling a village of Vodyanov by the GRAD missiles. On March 21, Ukrainian armed forces undertook an attack on town Kominternovo. but were forced to retreat abandoning several of their own. Eduard Basurin , a Deputy Defence Minister and defence spokesman of the Donetsk People’s Republic, said that the blood test of the killed Ukrainian servicemen revealed a high level of mind-altering substances. Federica Mogherini of the EU has not expressed any outrage over the Kiev authorities killing the population currently under its control. As a reminder to our esteemed Western readers about the crimes their governments and nations perpetuated against the Russians in 20th and 21rst century. Italian war crimes against Russia and Russians in 20th century About 130,000 of Italian army soldiers and officers were captured near Stalingrad in 1943. They were what’s left of the 8th Italian Army. “First, Italy deployed the Italian Expeditionary Corps in Russia (Corpo di Spedizione Italiano in Russia, or CSIR), in 1942 Italia decided to increase its war on Russia with additional armies with the ARMIR. Like the CSIR, the ARMIR included an Aviation Command (Comando Aereo) with a limited number of fighters, bombers, and transport aircraft. This command was part of the Regia Aeronautica (lit. “Royal Air Force”) and was also known as the Corpo Aereo Spedizione in Russia (“Air Expeditionary Corps in Russia”). The ARMIR was subordinated to German Army Group B (Heeresgruppe B) commanded by General Maximilian von Weichs. In February 1943, after its near destruction during the Battle of Stalingrad the remains of the Italian 8th Army and the surviving Italian troops were unceremoniously brought home from Russia. Altogether, Italia sent seven new divisions to Russia for a total of ten divisions. Four new infantry divisions were sent: the 2 Infantry Division Sforzesca, the 3 Infantry Division Ravenna, the 5 Infantry Division Cosseria, and the 156 Infantry Division Vicenza. In addition to the infantry divisions, three new mountain divisions made up of Alpini were sent: the 2 Alpine Division Tridentina, the 3 Alpine Division Julia, and the 4 Alpine Division Cuneense. These new divisions were added to the 52 Motorised Division Torino, 9 Motorised Division Pasubio and 3 Cavalry Division Amedeo Duca d’Aosta which were already in Russia as part of the CSIR.” Italy had never apologized for its war crimes against Russian people and never paid any restitution to Russia.

Two of the perpetrators were arrested, one is still at large. The Belorussian border guards discovered explosives and weapons. The Ukrainian response was to claim that this incident was staged.
========================= Speaking of legal issues. Here, I found some interesting statistic on the Russian courts. In 2016, in criminal courts in Russia were filed 1 016 322 cases. Decided on 961,000 criminal cases; http://www.cdep.ru/index.php?id=79 772 920 people were convicted; 216 297 people got real jail sentences; 3 739 people got non-guilty verdicts; 231 954 cases were closed for different reasons; It’s impossible to get any exact numbers of the convictions with jail sentences for the EU or the US Interesting enough, some unconfirmed sources report that about 10,000 of former Donbass militia fighters are currently being incarcerated on the territory of the republics and also on the territory of Russia. The same number, of about 10,000 of participants of the war on Donbass in 2014-2016 is being incarcerated currently in Ukraine, allegedly. All those people were convicted for the war crimes against civilian population like murder, rape, kidnapping, torture, extortion, robbery and theft. ==================== Japan: Entire Russian perimeter will be protected from the sea and the air – Shoigu It’s would be nonsensical to leave parts of our border without protection Mar 20, 2017 Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a joint press conference with Japanese Defence Minister Tomomi Inada and Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo, Monday. Tomomi Inada, Japanese Defence Minister (Japanese): “Security challenges are becoming more complex and diverse. And no country in the world can ensure its security for the benefit of itself alone.” Sergei Shoigu, Russian Defence Minister (Russian): “A division has been created over the last six years. It has formed along the lines of three territories in the Russian Federation: the Primorye territory, the Sakhalin region and the Amur region. It has been created exclusively for the protection of the Russian Federation. Its borders are secured from the sea and from the air. Concerning the second question, this year we will finish implementing a missile system around the entire perimeter of the Russian Federation, from the sea and from the air. Leaving unprotected space hardly makes sense. The entire perimeter of the Russian Federation will be protected from the sea and from the air.” ================= After Kiev banned a disabled Russian singer Yalia Samoilova from entering Ukraine to participate in the Eurovision 2017, Russia decided not to broadcast the show on its territory. On March 16, Poroshenko imposed sanctions against five banks with Russian state capital operating on the Ukrainian market. Russian banks, privately and state owned, might lose about $30 billion in cash and investments, as a result of Ukraine’s raid on the banks.

The Anglo-American elites do not want Russia and Germany to have warm relations. Those elites do not want to see the even a partial re-emergence of the Silk Road. If Russia really wanted to anger the Anglo-American elites, it would give Germans and German companies preferred access to the Russian market….perhaps even restore the Volga Republic.
Scott Humor wrote: “Italy had never apologized for its war crimes against Russian people and never paid any restitution to Russia.”
Why was Stalin silent about Italian war crimes. The Anglo-American elites rewarded Italy for switching sides and declaring war against Germany:
“The failed war effort left Mussolini humiliated at home and abroad as a “sawdust Caesar”. The new government, under Marshal Pietro Badoglio, began secret negotiations with the Allied powers and made preparations for the capitulation of Italy. These surrender talks implied a commitment from Badoglio not only to leave the Axis alliance but also to have Italy declare war on Germany.”

No they do not, but neither does the German government, especially under Merkel. The reason is that many German strategists feel that open economic relations with Russia will be far more advantageous to Russian than to Germany (German tech and capital can flow to Russia, but Russian mineral wealth cannot move to Bavaria)
Even if Germany were to decide that they would opt for an open trade relation with Russia, this would mean that the US, the UK and potentially others in the West as well, would turn against Germany, the consequences could be very severe. Russia is more than willing to provide preferred access to the Russian economy both to Germany or any other country willing to engage in such endeavor, but the problem is that the such a development would upset the global balance of power. This is precisely the role of NATO since the Cold War ended, to prevent Russia from attaining the large scale investments and access to global markets that would allow her to remedy her only weakness, that of relative economic backwardness vis-a-vis the West.
are you sure this is the same skeleton ? The right one looks more twisted than the left – although I’m not a radiologist
Ann,
A women from the Right Sector claims that she was injured and couldn’t walk, but after treatment in Israel miraculously started to walk and even gave birth to a healthy baby.
I am trying to understand if her story is real or a hoax.
Im no doctor but her spinal cord seems severed. No recovery from thato
I’m a physician, though not a radiologist or surgeon, and it seems that the vertebral column snapped between the T12 and L1 vertebrae. It also looks like a very old CT scan, so I’m guessing this is pretty old picture.
The spinal cord ends at about that level so it might not javelin been torn, but all the exiting nerve roots that control the legs would have been.
Also note that a trauma severe enough to break the spinal column like that would certainly have caused severe injury to other organs. The kidneys, spleen and liver are all about there. So it would be difficult to survive at all, much less walk. But I guess anything is possible.
P.S. The skeleton seems to have a disruption between L1 and L2 and so is probably not the same person imaged in the CT scan.
Again, I could be wrong but that is my best guess.
Strange how these “Nazis” keep showing up in Israel for treatment. Kind of like the “Islamic extremists” from ISIS going there for medical care. Of course Israel is “the West’s” greatest ally in the fight against Islamic terrorism…
The Jewish state is deeply involved in the Ukraine crises. Just like it was in Georgia. Wherever there is war and strife, Israel is certain to be there, No doubt about it. Actually, the ‘body’ of international Jews are actively seeking the subversion of Russia, through the Ukraine/Crimea and also Russia’s efforts in Syria.
Victoria Nuland , who orchestrated the Maidan Coup is herself Jewish. The western media is heavily controlled and owned by said Jews. No wonder Russia is being demonized in the MSM.
The U.S. members of the Senate and Congress, whom work night and day to bring the world calamity and war, are heavily influenced by Jewish lobbies, and this includes the anti-Russia hysteria in said houses of government.
Nothing has changed in their behavior since they sold out the empires of Babylon, Persia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, and tried to subvert Byzantium but failed. Does anyone know why they failed to subvert Byzantium? Because they were wise enough to have three rules, enforced strictly. No Jews in government, finance and education. Thus, Byzantium was the longest living empire in history. Aprox. 1200 years.
I saw the stats on Russia’s criminal justice system. Sound reasonable. I think it was Charles Dickens who said if one wants to gauge a society, one only has to enter its prisons. Well, in the U.S., there are 2.5 million people incarcerated. 80,000 wake up each day in total solitary confinement, with some for decades. California has 774 people on death row alone, with the other states and the Federal government, this number reaches in the thousands. Thousands of people are doing life without the chance of parole for non-violent crimes, due to outrageous three-strikes laws. So if you have two prior convictions, and you get caught stealing a chocolate bar, they toss you in prison for the rest of your natural life. Everyday in the U.S., there are between 6-7 million people on probation and/or parole.
The U.S. has 4,140 colleges and universities, while it has over 5000+ prisons and jails, with major construction of new facilities planned or near finality. Prisons are near a breaking point, due to overcrowding, with Arizona housing inmates in a giant tent city, where inmate uniforms are bright pink, for further humiliation. Violence in California’s prisons is reaching critical mass. There are thousands upon thousands of ‘gangs’ in the U.S., so the situation will get even worse.
State and Federal courts are overwhelmed, with no end in sight. And with growing poverty, even abject poverty, the situation will get worse. There is no solution, because ‘raw’ capitalism does not work. The Federal government spends 50+ billion dollars annually on food stamps, yet there are still children going to bed hungry. At the same time, the U.S. has the worlds most billionaires and millionaires than any other country by leaps and bounds.
Misery upon misery. U.S. student carry the burden of 1.5 trillion dollars in student loans, only to graduate and move back home with their parents, due to loans and poor job prospects. The leading industry hiring in the U.S. is the hospitality industry(bartenders, waiters and waitresses, also nurse helpers).
I could go on and on.
Given these facts and numbers, the U.S. allocated 1 trillion to the Department of Energy and Defense for the research and development of battlefield ‘friendly’ nuclear arms. The budget for the Defense Department is 600+ billion annually, with Trump seeking congressional approval for a 10% increase. Billions are spent every year in the U.S. to supply local, state police departments with battlefield and weapons of war. It’s clear that the U.S. government is not only at war with half the world, but also its own citizens, especially if brown or black, or if one is unfortunately poor.
If your unfortunately one of the have-nots in the U.S., it can be a very cold hearted place. Homeless shelters are packed beyond capacity, with no state or city funds to build more, or alleviate the shocking problem. Even Los Angeles downtown is called ‘skid-row’, due to the presence of too many homeless wandering around and living literally on the streets. Chicago is no better. I have seen this with my own eyes, its heart breaking.
Sorry to go rambling on and on and going off topic, but when historians study and write about the fall of the U.S., it will be about over-extension abroad and decay and subsequent social decay and collapse.
And I haven’t even mentioned the catastrophic condition of the infrastructure in the U.S. Water, Power lines and highways(bridges, roads, interstate system , schools, state universities) are all in major need of rehab and most need repair, or there will be rolling blackouts across the U.S. in the near future, just like in some 3rd or 4th rate country. All of America’s infrastructure is way past its allocated life span and failing, falling apart. Most was built in the 30-50’s. Hers a wonderful article that I highly recommend on the abysmal state of the U.S. infrastructure. –

Good post. Of course “Islamic State” is supported by Israel too. Strange to see “Nazis” and “Islamic extremists” being supported by Israel even though they claim these two groups are their biggest enemies. Hopefully their deception won’t work much longer I think more people are waking up. They always tend to push things too far before the inevitable backlash comes.
As Jesus said: “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
Or better yet…..
Ezekiel 36:31-32 New International Version (NIV)
31- Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices. 32- I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Sovereign Lord. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, people of Israel!
….now that’s what I call an indictment, if ever there was one.

Interesting bio Arnie. Not too many posters have a wikipedia entry and I’m sure no one has had their home raided by the feds and lawyers for Church of Scientology. That’s quite unique. First you were in an intelligence cult, which you joined at the behest of your mom at age 16, and then you became a well known dissident of that intelligence cult.
Golly, even the Washington Post found your story so interesting they decided to cover it.
I have good news for you, the winding up of Scientology is proceeding apace. That should make you glad.

Regarding “Some Advice from Confucious,” here’s the quote from your website:
When the wise man points to the Moon, the idiot looks at the finger.
This is true Arnie, but when the purported wise man points to the moon, some of us prefer to take two steps back before we look up, not really understanding why we should look in the first place. I have seen the moon many times and though it can fill you with a sense of awe on a beautiful night, it is not so profound I should look in the direction suggested by someone I don’t really know. Call me cynical but I prefer to take a good hard look at the person pointing their finger and offering advice before I decide if to follow their direction, lest my wallet be snatched or I am punched in the gut. Not all the neighbourhoods in Washington are as friendly as the ones you must generally frequent.
That Fisman affadavit smells kinda fishy and while we’re on the subject of your back story and website, it has become fasionable to throw big sounding accusations like ad hominem! at detractors, almost as if it were suggested in a manual inspired by Cass Sunstein, on how to bamboozle folks who describe you as, well, less than reliable.
So yes, as you say, the rest is up to readers.
Always moved by the sacrifices and effort of Russia’s people to repel the Nazis.
When you look at the sheer number of German forces assailing Russia, the tank battles at Kursk, the siege and then liberation of Leningrad, the battle to defend Moscow and of course Stalingrad what the Soviet people endured and prevailed against is for me beyond mere words.
This experience is something the western gangsters have neither experienced nor are even capable of understanding as they sit at their computer screens mapping out their plans for world domination..
However coming up to date and regarding the very pertinent video of the Ukraine/Belarus incident I have been more and more wondering – Is Belarus next?.
.(Fortruss has a good 2 part article about the Russia/Belarus situation. God I hope Lukashenko wakes up).
;
I too, am moved by the sheer determination and sacrifice of Russians , before, during and after WW2, which cost her untold millions of lives.
Its lunacy to think Russia today would just kneel over and be over-ridden by plots and attempts at subversion from abroad.
God bless Putin and his people for saving Russia, when it was being pillaged by international Jews, whom looted billion upon billion, leaving her people destitute and hopeless. When Russia’s main export was prostitutes and gangsters.
Putin and his officials have made Russians proud again. Her Church has risen, Chechnya is rebuilt and no longer a CIA inspired menace. Even Russia’s Muslims are treated well, and proud once more, as in the days of the Czars. Crimea, an integral part of Russia since Catherine the Great, cir. 169? is re-joined to the motherland.
About Belarus(white Russia), it has and still is demonized by the west, who refer to her as ‘the last dictatorship in Europe’. The Mi6, CIA have tried to infiltrate Belarus and subvert it, but this was dealt with quickly. It would seem another logical place where the subversive west would attempt to cause trouble. In fact, anywhere adjacent to Russia is game for the west, especially the ‘Stan’ countries in Russia’s ‘soft underbelly’. China too must be very cautious.
The ISIS hordes were supposed to have already over-run Syria and Iraq, already in Iran, and afterwards , the plan was to move them north into the Caucasus and north-western China.
This plan has all but failed, for the most part.
Scott; Both are fake. The image on the left is a drawing of, presumably, the skeleton which image is depicted on the right. However, that image is also fake, lacking the anterior portion of the lower spinal column. Even a perfect mid-line CT scan would show the symphysis pubis as a calcified structure. My conclusion: Both are fakes. The question of “walking” after such an injury? Only in a child’s version of the Bible!
LOL. Thanks for your expert opinion. That’s priceless.
I will use your conclusion for my upcoming book, if you don’t mind.
.
You are welcome, and feel free to so use.

Russia Secures Financial System From Potential SWIFT Shutoff – Central Bank Head

“”There was the threat of being shut out of SWIFT. We updated our transaction system, and if anything happens, all SWIFT-format operations will continue to work, we created an analogous system,” Nabiullina said during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Over 90 percent of cash machines and payment terminals are ready to accept our own Mir card… We consider 2017 to be an important year, a turning point in the spread of Mir cards,” Nabiullina said.
Mir, operated by the National Payment Card System (NSPK), seeks to ensure the sovereignty of the national payment industry and secure the processing of domestic transactions using Russian bank cards.
NSPK has now also taken over Visa and MasterCard operations inside Russia. The Central Bank has also set up its own electronic finance message transfer system as an alternative to SWIFT. Most Russian banks started using the system by early 2016.”
BTW, for the still naive, the israelis tuppence regime quislings in pindoland are fully on board these israeli provocations, the zionazi plan of the dismemberment of Syria, for israeli interests, has now moved to a new level.
“Interesting enough, some unconfirmed sources report that about 10,000 of former Donbass militia fighters are currently being incarcerated on the territory of the republics and also on the territory of Russia.”
LOL. 10k would be over 25% of the total of those who have joined the Novorussian resistance. That sounds suspiciously like those “unconfirmed sources” zio-gay media uses when spreading zionazi/nazi propaganda, such as all that govno about “Russian hackers”.

“Fake Scholarship” and the Future of America’s University
http://www.globalresearch.ca/fake-scholarship-and-the-future-of-americas-university/5580252
“Harvard University has established a modern version of the Catholic Church’s Index Librorum Prohibitorum, a list of prohibited online publications which are tagged as “fake” and “false”, broadly following the politically tainted “List” of censored independent and alternative media. As we recall the Catholic Church’s Index was a list of books “deemed heretical, anti-clerical or lascivious”.1
Ex Cathedra, Harvard has decided in one fell swoop that virtually the entire US based “Alternative Media” pertaining to tens of thousands of authors would be categorized not only as fake news, but fake science, knowledge and analysis.
The Harvard Index however goes far beyond the Catholic Church’s Index which selectively banned books after careful reading, review and evaluation within the Church’s hierarchy. This frivolous decision by Harvard constitutes a violation of the most fundamental principles of university education which are debate, discussion, critique and analysis.
The Harvard Index acts as a Lynchpin. It establishes a “new normal”, a guideline to colleges and universities across the land, regarding what we can or cannot read, what we can or cannot write.
Is it a conspiracy? Yes it is. Harvard’s Index broadly undermines the foundation of University education. It instates academic mediocrity.”
Basically, it is the zionazi/rightwing homosexual wet dream of censoring out all other views but their own.
The rate that the West is accelerating its own destruction is breathtaking: so they’re deliberately blinding themselves to facts and valuable information? That will only further accelerate their implosion. What took decades and centuries to occur in the past, the collapse and decline of a society or power, in our current era seems to happen in a handful of years, in less than a decade. I can’t believe how hellbent this intolerant mediocre clique of rabid snowflakes that dominates and leads Western culture is driving their civilization off a cliff.
once again, we would like to thank you scott for your article, drawing together many threads…the video of stalingrad is so awe inspiring…we hear so much here in the west of dresden, dresden, dresden, but the enormous sacrifice of the people of the soviet union, is not a part of their narrative,
the fact that europe, as you outline, in many guises, made war with the soviet union, now it dreams of dominating russia, has to be outed, as you have done in your commenable article: please, keep it up!!

“Experts say that Ukraine is unlikely to receive the status in the near future. This is not going to happen at least prior to Trump’s stated attempt to improve relations with Moscow. It is the Upper Class who are the conspirators. If the ‘you believe in conspiracies then there is something wrong with your brain’ crew are not lakey’s of the Upper Class then who is?
138’000 tons of ammunition of all sorts represents about 4’000 truckloads.
A standard shipping container is 40 feet long (13 meters), with another 2 meters for the length of the tractor, this represents a line of vehicles, bumper to bumper, some 60 kilometers long.
This in the day and age of “just-in-time” delivery represents the tip of an iceberg in the quantity of munitions being pointed toward and pre-destined to fall on the heads of their fellow (ex) Ukrainians in the Donbass.
If military logistics are done well, it is a significant combat multiplier. . . . If
it is not done well, it can lead to disaster. There is an old saw: “for want of a nail,
a shoe was lost; for want of a shoe, the horse was lost. . . .” Ultimately, the war
was lost, all for want of a nail. Logistics is that important to warfighting.
Inventory maintains the logistics tail. This event clears excess inventory. Older items coming out of storage often fail (time sensitive) when issued. Many of the stored items also become obsolete, wasting resources to later dispose of useless inventory.
Can anyone give an analysis of the inventory that just went up in smoke?
We should be able to predict a rise in diesel fuel consumption (and maybe higher prices) as the military transportation system speeds up to compensate. If your fuel tank is empty you may want to fill it up now (will support the Donbass too).
What items are in highest demand from military manufacturers? These will be solicited to step up production, with smaller lot sizes that can be immediately delivered. Does the Ukrainian military have enough transportation capacity and material handling equipment available in the right quantities and types to support the losses?
This will lead to a lot of “frustrated material”, items or pallets that are mislabeled or lost at a shipping point and cannot be sent to the final destination without added work (a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity for thieves). Containers will need to be opened, contents examined and an inventory taken. How long will it take?
Military inventory is often based on how critical the item is to a system. Many repair parts will be ordered again due to lack of confidence in the supply system. Items in transit will also be reordered as no one knows when the material will arrive or where it is. This greatly risks overwhelming the Ukrainian army logistics. One can assume one third is safety level stock while the rest is “just-in-time” logistics.
The Ukrainian military will have to find alternative storage facilities, probably further away from the conflict zone where the inhabitants show greater support for their operations. This will increase the length of the supply line, steeply driving up costs and more importantly delays.
A well timed spanner in the works.
Is this comment about a fire in Balakleya? I don’t think any of this matters in Ukraine. Anything remotely useful was sold on a black market. There is a reason some people got even richer and representatives to duma are paying millions to get a seat. How can you prove the arms were stolen? Normally you would count the supplies in a warehouse and see if what should be there really is there.
Instead we have a situation where Russia (probably it will be somehow Russia fault) sabotaged the munitions depot while Ukraine is bravely defending Europe. (sarc, but only this sentence)
Let’s see when the next arms depot will catch a fire. You can bet that’s only because there is nothing useful in it any more.
It is a well known fact that the majority of equipment and arms used by NAF in the first two years of combat with Kiev was purchased or captured from Kiev forces, percentages roughly 50/50. To this day ‘business’ goes on between the two sides.
Kiev since the demise of SSSR has manufactured virtually nothing in the way of expendable ordinance or weapons. As an additional kicker the majority of weapons plants of any kind are in Donetsk and Lughansk, most in the areas under control of Novorossiya. Nothing will change that fact.
Apparently there was a major inspection and inventory due at the munitions storage complex at Balakleya. What a surprise that the facility and still considerable stocks of ammunition of all types went up in smoke. This is far from some minor or middling conflagration, this is a serious event witness the continuous explosions for almost 24 hours. The area of fire is huge and from the looks of it everything will be gone when the fire finally sputters out.
Look for the Ukes to start screaming poverty and using this deliberately set fire as an excuse to get the American wonderwaffen they have so desired for three years, with ‘instructors’ to train the ukes in the use of same. Between the ukes and the charming denizens of the desert known as IGIL the pair of them have pretty much drawn down the available stocks of leftover Soviet weapons and ordinance in the old Warsaw Pact countries. Most has already been either sent to the ME or to Ukraine, or sold to Africa.
The next couple months are going to be interesting both in Novorossiya and Syria.

very good points your last para- perhaps -??-also as a way of getting rid of out of date faulty ammunition, as Donbass has reported sometimes of faulty ammo prematurely exploding when used by ATO, killing them……..there was something coupla weeks ago, a european country being most unhappy with aircraft being sent under contract ukraine to be repaired but returning mostly unuseable, yet the other day Poro proudly announces again the success development and manufacture-?- of their own missile system –I’d hate to be someone putting my faith in those ………..
I heard it was NovoRussyian armaments that were burning – they haven’t said –
@ScottsHumor
I am a radiologist working in an emergency service.
The picture on the left is a 3D reconstruction in bone window, probably the first CT after the accident, or just after (Electrode sticker for cardiac monitoring on the upper chest and suboptimal arm positionning along the torso). The picture on the right is a para sagital plane (abdominal window) showing a major displacement of the spine at the D12-L1 junction. Compatible with a high energy trauma. (Hit by a SUV (height of hood) from the back)
Presence of bruising of soft tissue at the site of trauma.
Thanks, LeRenard
The person who claimed being injured while inside a minibus that flipped on its side. There were other people inside at the time, but no one else reported any injures. I have an image of the vehicle, also.
“probably the first CT after the accident, or just after. Electrode sticker for cardiac monitoring on the upper chest”
That’s a very important detail, The markings on the top show that it was made in Israel.
According to her story, she went from Ukraine to Israel for treatment several months after an accident.
Great job, buddy. Thanks so much!
There is insufficient evidence to ascribe a specific cause to the injuries. For example, if the person was struck from behind by a SUV, they would probably be lower limb injuries from the fender, along with head injuries arising from secondary impact with either parts of the vehicle or the ground. If the vehicle was a truck, then the lower limb injuries probably would not occur, but the head injuries probably would. If the person was inside a vehicle, then the injury patterm would depend on whether the person was wearing a seat belt and the nature of the accident e.g. driving into something substantial and solid versus rolling after losing control of the vehicle.
The injuries shown are consistent with some high energy blunt force traumatic event rather than say blast from an explosion which would probably introduce shrapnel or other intrusive material into the body. There is no sign of such material in the evidence presented.
This looks like it might be an interesting Crosstalk on the recent israeli provocations against Syria (I have not had time to watch it yet).
Syria escalation

“Just when it looked like the international proxy war in Syria might be coming to an end, Israel inserted itself into the conflict in a big way. Airstrikes against Syrian targets have not only provoked a forceful reaction from Damascus, but also has Moscow demanding explanations.
CrossTalking with Ramzy Baroud, Dan Arbell, and Martin Jay.”
Yes, this crosstalk is worth looking because it provided different views and some insight. Fortunately and thankfully, it is one of the rare talks without gross interference among the participants.
Scott, Late yesterday (3/22) I saw Rep. Nunes on TV stating that he HAS seen evidence that Trump and lots of others have been “surveiled” and is bothered that the “names of American citizens” were not redacted on the docs he saw. Now I’ve seen a member of the committee criticising Nunes, asking if he’s running his own personal investigation, or what. The media seems to be trying to ignore what’s happening.
Nunes has been threatened by Freedom Watch’s lawyer with full public disclosure of proof-positive documents from whistleblower if the committee continues to ignore or cover up past Close of Business tomorrow (3/24). This is not just “interesting.” Could be a real big-time blowup. All sorts have refused to “entertain” this whistle blower’s material, despite it’s importance to critical matters at hand. Could be the documents that will send Clapper and Brennan to prison — probably should be the gallows?
I am so glad to hope that this may expose these congressional criminals for what they are. Thanks for this “find.” I sure was wondering what Chairman Nunes was talking about. And I sure do hope that Montgomery is hiding safely and that the hard drive has been copied and is sure to reach the public if “bad fortune” should befall him and his cohorts @ Freedom Watch.
“Mr. Montgomery is trying to use a legal “whistle-blower” process and not follow the same approach as Edward Snowden.” This is SO important!
Bless him and wish him luck!
Freedom Watch attorney announcing that Comey caught in lies to congressional committee (which refused to question him on whistle blower’s proof of spying on Trump’s people). He had to threaten committee chairman Nunes into admitting…. Says he’ll be sitting right there next week when Comey is back for the “follow-up” hearing. Will the MSM see fit to tell us about the new whistleblower? For sure, now, they all know. Waiting for instructions? Be sure to read the link to one of the best “lawyer letters” ever written (towards the end of Scott’s sit rep above).

I think this little incident is huge and may be the beginning of the end for the swamp. Caught red handed lying to everyone including their erstwhile overseers. Something stinks here big time and the media in the west is virtually dead silent, even Russia media is a bit restrained but that is normal for most of them. I’ll be watching this closely over the next few days.

Auslander,
I receive TV only over rabbit ears, so I switch between ABC, CBS, and NBC “news.” Meant to tune into NPR to hear whether this fight in the “Select Committee” was considered on “All Things Considered,” but I forgot. ABC news saying that Rep. Nunes is apologizing for going to Trump and the press before talking to the committee. No mention of the whistleblower or his lawyer’s demand to question Comey about whistleblowers’ information.
Yes, Rep. Nunes is apologizing — for having made a bad decision. So predictable. PBS NewsHour’s expert talking head is mystified as to why this sudden change in committee dynamics. Actually shrugged his shoulders when Judy Woodruff, highly respect journalist, asked him the question. He just doesn’t understand what’s going on.

They are making the “story” about the committee getting it’s feelings hurt and being all mad at Nunes. He is being discredited by all. The chairman of the committee is being set up to be kicked off the committee. Trump is saying nothing. Maybe he’ll wake up in the morning and tweet.
Guess that threat letter from the Freedom Watch lawyer really scared Nunes, and he went off script without consulting the team. Nunes public statement, after he talked to Trump, really threw those yo-yos for a loop. You could almost feel the steam coming out of their heads — the two Dems that the press caught up with, anyway.
I think maybe the chronology of this will be important, because between this morning’s news and this evening;s news the sequence was reversed — said Nunes talked to press before going to see Trump. Remember that — he actually went to Trump before he spoke to the press, telling that he actually HAS seen evidence of the “spying,” and that it had nothing at all to do with Russia. Sounds like maybe this Montgomery guy walked away with some good stuff and doesn’t want to live in Russia. We can hope.

RE: chronology:
Now it has been said that Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House (and 3rd in line to presidency), “authorized” Rep. Nunes to take his information to President Trump, so Rep. Nunes spoke to Speaker Ryan, then to Trump, then to representative of media with camera on him.
Open hearing of the Committee scheduled for Mar. 28 is changed to closed hearing. They cannot question Comey on info in whistleblower stolen data in public, I guess, but so far existence of whistleblower and threat letter from Freedom Watch lawyer receives no mention. MSM says little other than to “cover” Committee members questioning Nunes’ quals to be Chairman (presumably because he talked to President before them and therefore insulted them and made them mad at him. MSM pretends to be mystified as to what’s going on regarding changes in Mar. 28 hearing. Must mean “classified,” they shrug and say. Tomorrow’s Sunday shows usually feature their expert geniuses. And one of them is likely to be McCain screaming for an “independent” investigation.
I vouch for none of this. Just trying to keep up with a developing story that the news media has chosen to pretty much ignore.
Former Russian Lawmaker Denis Voronenkov shot dead in broad daylight in Ukraine capital.
My guess is that Poroshenko did him in. I very much doubt that FSB would try to make a spectacle out of it. This is not their style. According to Mossad there over 2 thousand ways of eliminating somebody without a trace. I’m sure FSB is well aware of each and every one of those ways. Besides, this dude was much more valuable to Russia alive rather than dead. Now all the money he stole from Russia belong to Poroshenko and he gets to blame Russia for this murder.
What does Japan want from Russia? Do the Japanese elites want a guarantee that Japan will not be attacked by Russia in case North Korea should ever go to war with Japan? Are they also trying to negotiate energy deals? How can Japan obtain anything from Russia without angering the Anglo-American elites?
Japan has no friends. Other countries in the Far East have hated the Japanese for centuries. Japan has never paid reparations for crimes committed in WW 2. The Japanese also ran concentration camps comparable to those run by Nazi Germany:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Japanese-run_internment_camps_during_World_War_II
https://www.warhistoryonline.com/war-articles/japanese-concentration-camps.html
Dr. Mengele had Japanese counterparts:
http://www.crimesofwar.org/a-z-guide/medical-experiments-on-pows/
http://www.counterpunch.org/2006/05/27/the-abominable-dr-ishii/
Would you agree that the two nations which the USA has come to most resemble, apart from the ever perfidious Albion, are Israel and Japan?
Dr Mengele was, after all, perfecting the work of US eugenicists and not the other way around.
It is difficult to discern quite which “nation” is the vassal of any other” nation”.
But there seems to be an evident axis amongst the aforementioned players. There may also be fringe members.
Hello Scott. I am a physician (not a radiologist or surgeon) though my practice involves frequent review of spine imaging. I will be repeating some things already mentioned above.
First, it’s not clear the 2 images are of the same patient. (Aside: On the left, I think we are looking at a false color 3D image, processed to emphasize bone. I have seen such processing for educational use, never in a clinical context, though I am not current.) Note on the extreme right of the left image, just adjacent to the obvious disruption of the spinal column, that there appears to be a whole, intact vertebra, the L2 I think, displaced out of the spinal column and rotated such that its longitudinal axis is pointing straight out of the page. I have never seen or heard of anything like that. I can’t imagine how any trauma that could cause such an injury might be survivable.
The right image is a CT, and there is not the bizarrely displaced vertebra we see on the right; although the imaged plane might have missed this. I agree with Lysander that the disruption is between T12 and L1 (again, seems different from the 3-D image).
I have never seen traumatic changes this severe (for either image) in someone living. While I can’t comment on a specific cause of the findings, I would expect some sort of high-velocity trauma to be involved, such as high-speed car crash, fall from a great height, or explosion. The spinal cord (or more likely cauda equina) and some nerve roots would have been severed. The forces causing such damage would have also been transmitted through adjacent soft tissues, kidneys for sure, and also the abdominal aorta is adjacent to the spine there, and I can’t imagine how it could have remained intact; the individual(s) likely would have bled to death from that alone. There is no way someone who survived such injuries would ever walk again.
Scott, I find it odd that these images are available with no context. Clinical imaging will be stamped with a date-of-service, the patient’s name, date-of-birth and the like. Isn’t such data on these images? If these images are clinical patient data, they were pulled from a patient-chart or from some data-base. There was selection, and lots of omission. I suspect these images derive from an academic source in which identifying info had been removed.
I disagree with Klaatu that these are fake images; you can see similar false color computer renderings in medical textbooks. His/her objection to the right CT based upon non-visualized anatomy is spurious: I see no reason to assume perfect alignment of the imaging axis with the subject’s longitudinal axis, especially in an ER with a mangled body; indeed the obvious anatomic disruption would explain why subject’s longitudinal axis was itself disrupted.
After I wrote the above, I read LeRenard’s comment. He sounds right, and wherever he differs with my opinion, I would defer to LeRenard.
@WeatherGlass, LeRenard, Klaatu, …
Just out of curiosity and because no one has mention it, is it possible to determine a gender? Is it the same on both pictures?
The sciatic notch of the left side of the pelvis in the 3D reconstruction is very broad. That is consistent with a female patient rather than a male patient. Therefore the biological sex is probably female. Gender, a social construct, cannot be determined from such evidence.
The sagittal CT section appears to be close to midline. When the image is clicked on, it shows a larger image with more detail in the groin area. There is no sign of male genitals in that which is consistent with the pelvic morphology as an indicator of a probably female patient.
In terms of developmental age, the evidence suggests the person is a young adult. The neural arches are fused to the vertebral bodies. The iliac crest is fused to the body of the ilium. There is no sign of degenerative disease on the margins of the vertebral bodies. The intervertebral disk space is quite narrow and some of the vertebral body faces appear irregular. Hoever the individual has ostensibly been subject to severe trauma with unknown soft tisssue damage. All in al, the data suggests the individual is adult, possibly mid aged or younger and probably female.
The images are derived images ie they are not being viewed on the PACS machines in the relevant hospital department. It is possible that the usual photoshopery has been applied to remove text annotatioons, and otherwise manipulate the images.
The images appear to be a digital X ray (or sagittal section from a CT scan) and a 3D reconstruction probably derived from a CT scan conducted as part of the medical investigation immediately after hospitalisation.
The images are probably real and are reasonably consistent. They show the view of damaged spine from different angles with trauma at the same level so they are likely to be from the same individual. There is patient id in the 3D scan but not in the x-ray, but that does not necessarily mean there is an incosistency between the two images.
They both show severe traumatic spinal injury in the region of the upper lumbar vertebrae probablyy with total disruption of the spinal cord between the second and third lumbar vertebra. There appears to be a 2 to 3 inch backward displacement of the upper part of the lumbar spine in relation to the lower part. It is highly unlikely that the spinal cord would survive that extension without rupture. The 3D CT reconstruction is a little confusing as there is something odd to the right of the displaced upper spine and ribs. It looks vaguely like a displaced lumbar vertebra at an odd angle. However, its significance can not be assessed from the information in the two images.
I would expect the patient to be permanently paralysed with respect to nerves below L2 / L3. This would cause complete paralysis of both lower limbs.
The 3D CT reconstruction shows some patient information and a date of examination. There is evidence that a female person of that surname was involved in a car crash in the Dnepropetrovsk area in late 2015. She appears to have been working in some capacity with the Ukrainian ATO at that time. The person appears to have given birth to a child in November 2016. There are several Ukraine media reports showing her consistently in a wheelchair from immediately after the incident to that time.
Correction. Following examination of larger versions of the images and the comments made by others earlier, the fracture appears to be between L1 and L2.
Will you write some post about recent protests of so called oposition in Russia?
