The problem with these figures is that there is no evidence by independent sources with names of mercenaries really have deceased in Ukraine. At least not as high as Russian sources are claiming. Few weeks ago Russian MoD claimed 20 Finnish mercenaries killed. So far not a single name mentioned by Finnish or Ukrainian sources. Few days later Finnish YLE interviewed Finnish mercenaries mentioning there were around 50 in Ukraine, none have been in frontline duties, none have died or wounded.
All those Mercs from the ME must work in the rear, making coffee, tossing eggs……I have yet to see any mention of ME terrorists from RF MOD, maybe I missed it, but since the RF give an accounting of dead Mercs country by country, (rumour has it they will now publish deceased’s names) they’d get special mention…..just to stay on point.

So many are speculating about what Russia should do- take out the airports and railways, hit the satellites, and so on. While they should indeed do that, I am confident that their security council has decided to do those things at a certain time, which is not yet. Whenever Russia’s leaders decide to turn it up a notch, they will. It just hasn’t happened yet.

Over the past three weeks, the number of mercenaries in Ukraine has decreased from 3,221 to 2,741 as a result of the offensive actions of the units of the Russian Armed Forces and people’s militia of Lugansk and Donetsk republics.

The problem with these figures is that there is no evidence by independent sources with names of mercenaries really have deceased in Ukraine. At least not as high as Russian sources are claiming. Few weeks ago Russian MoD claimed 20 Finnish mercenaries killed. So far not a single name mentioned by Finnish or Ukrainian sources. Few days later Finnish YLE interviewed Finnish mercenaries mentioning there were around 50 in Ukraine, none have been in frontline duties, none have died or wounded.
All those Mercs from the ME must work in the rear, making coffee, tossing eggs……I have yet to see any mention of ME terrorists from RF MOD, maybe I missed it, but since the RF give an accounting of dead Mercs country by country, (rumour has it they will now publish deceased’s names) they’d get special mention…..just to stay on point.

I would think these are categorized among the ones who left. Or conveniently incinerated like in Azovstal; why devote precious medical resources and risk of exposure for the lowest on the totem pole?? They live by the law of the jungle, and without honor.
I wonder how many mercs from “ME” are actually ETIMs, Kurds, Turkomen, Afghan Northern Alliance-men, and other AZE proxies relocated from Idlib and Iraq. There is one now from Morocco on death row, along with the two Brits. There’s a long historical trail – taking Al Queda from Afghan to Yugoslavia, Libyans who helped overthrow Qhaddafi to Syria, etc.. there’s a pipeline and pool of mercs ready to be shuttled around on Air America and nighttime Black Hawk joyrides.. And some of these are among most hardened ruthless mercs, so if anything it is Canadians and Danes making the coffee, lol! Also let’s not forget for the Ukrainian war, there are even more nazi proxies from their global “brotherhood,” especially frmo eastern europe Gladio networks, Latin American/Canadian former ratlines, etc..

Attrition rates are high; around 1/2 to 4/5 already dead or gone.
this is a good point. I do not understand all the intricacies and how the Russian MoD is using language. It may be understating the real merc #s, to not call NATO an open belligerent (for now)..
(1) most of the real terrorists (the ISIS of this campaign) were already subsumed into the AFU, such as Azov and Right Sector, which numbered 100-200,000+ according to various estimates. I defer to Nightvision, Lone Wolf and others here.
(2) it doesn’t include thousands upon thousands of “instructors, trainers, minders” from NATO. Many of which actually man the machinery of war and openly run the C&C.
(3) it doesn’t include the many who once Russian MoD started giving these numbers were quickly moved into AFU rolls.. How many since early March were given new identities and have now joined Bandera in the incinerated trenches??
But yeah you are right, it is no longer profitable to be a merc and those official numbers are minuscule. Nevertheless it appears, like the stupendous amount of arms and money and PR funneled to the killing fields, a massive manpower exceeding even Syria was sent and prepared for the Ukraine. Most of those were already established on site in Novorossiya in the 8 years leading to the war. The UkroNazi AFU is the largest and best trained terror proxy ever fielded by the West. Not as many needed to come join them after Feb 24
The satellites without which the himars cannot geolocate their targets must be destroyed. There is no other way.

Please calm down everyone. It seems that while all of the pro-Russian Telegram channels are explaining that HIMARS are not that big of a deal, all of the commentors from america are freaking out over them. So many are speculating about what Russia should do- take out the airports and railways, hit the satellites, and so on. While they should indeed do that, I am confident that their security council has decided to do those things at a certain time, which is not yet. Whenever Russia’s leaders decide to turn it up a notch, they will. It just hasn’t happened yet.
As far as the captured howitzer above, I don’t see why they bothered to haul it away at all, unless they want all of the free magnesium. Oh yes- metals…just wait until they stop selling all metals and minerals to the West, including uranium.
