Vladivostok Aerial View
National Geographic listed Vladivostok among the 10 most beautiful oceanfront cities in the world. The city lies on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and is sometimes called “Russia’s San Francisco” for its steep slopes, pointed mountains and indented coastline.

Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service, or VSUES, is a university located in Vladivostok, Russia. The university was founded in 1967 as Far Eastern Technological Institute, or FETI. The university received full accreditation in 1996
Interesting! Beautiful City. What i have learned of the Aerial View Videos posted here in the last days: The roofs of russian houses are so more colorful compared to here in germany!
Hi Scott, sure looks impressing.
I was also stunned about the modern bridge they opened in Vladivostok a year or so ago.
On the other hand I know from Berlin and myself, that a fancy look of a city alone doesn’t mean that everybody has #0.) a job #1.) one that gets paid let #2.) let alone income disparity versus the biz owners.
That being said: I do know from my own trips to RF that it certainly doeas loock a lot better than in 1999.
Then again, before 1991 it didn’t look that cute, but nevertheless people had a giga-ton of things which most folks (the 99%) lack today.
How expensive is it to go to a Doc?
Pensions high enough to stay alive?
How expensive are tram, metro, bus, trolley or train tickets?
How expensive is it to go to cinema with your kids?
Or to zoopark?
Were all these things built buy the people for the people?
Or to make $$$profits?
Which roles play foreign banks and foreign dual citizenship “investors”?
When I was young humanity was the center of the universe.
Now life as most important thing got replaced by worthless fiat paper (which in turn is based on neverending lies to support neverending wars, globally, unfortunately also still heavily stretching into both RF and China).
When will the Russian central bank get de-Rothschildized? And how???
I don’t know the answer. I’m just asking.
BTW: It was always my dream to travel with the TransSib from Europe to China.
FORGET IT: Now as far as I have heard a one way ticket cheapest standard is 1000 EUR or more.
Which percent of RF (or EU or US) citizens do you think could afford such a trip?
During Soviet times it was cheap like nothing, but it was difficult to obtain the permission.
Now the permission is less of a problem, but the effect is the same. That’s Capitalist “Freedom” then, I know. It would be nice if Eurasia could push for a more humane model.
Oligarchy can easily be outlawed: Forbid incomes higher than 3000 $ per month (still few will fall into this category!). Nationalize all banks and then factories. Print Gold based money. Back it up by the Red Armmy and Nukes (as passive but tested functioning threat). End of the story.
p.s. As for the “Richest country of Europe, Germany”:
Der Wahnsinn: Kostenfreie Taxifahrten für Flüchtlinge !
(Insanity: Free of charge Taxi/Cab-travelling for Refugees, paid by the tax payer)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCBqKOZuvjE
versus
homelessness in germany (the homeless get much less, or worse, NOTHING!)
https://www.google.de/search?q=homelessness+in+germany&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiRsIm0upbLAhWMNpoKHQYAD2wQ_AUICCgC&biw=1280&bih=853
Now since the migration wave started, at more and more places where homeless once used to get free food, they are now no longer being accepted as guests, or from now on only on 2 days per week (for the benefit of the migrants!)
The idea of a ‘ceiling’ on income is a good one. Maybe that noone should be allowed ‘earn’ more than five times the average. And the metric of value should be related to social capital – doctors, cleaners, engineers, nurses etc. – not finance.
The problem is with assets – how would you control that?
Hey Eimar, tnx for your comment.
> The problem is with assets – how would you control that?
Capital controls?
Of course we need some infrastructure again: Borders, police (not USA’s police brutality, but a smart educated police like in Germany today, however – with some real rights and laws that don’t only rotten their existance the can down the road on some patient paper. I think of policing like in modern day China.)
@Eimar:
> The problem is with assets – how would you control that?
I forgot: The magic word is *land/soil_reform*
Like there should be a ceiling for monthly incomes, equally as much there must be such limitations for land-ownership, wealth-ownership etc.
Can it be that 0.1% own as much as the lower 70% (I think that’s todays true situation in most western countries, in RF it is probably even worse, and yes, I said 0.1%)?
On the other side there were obviously some flaws in the old system.
Such as that highly skilled doctors – even famous ones – would earn less money, than an average bus driver. That’s simply not fair, given the 10 thousands of hours the doctor needed to study. Certainly a large quantity of individual points were not fair in the old days, too. What about re-creating the old times with such injustices fixed?
Unfortunately nothing like that appears to be in the area of probability. The population is literally owned by western consumerism and lying media.
My chemistry teacher in high school (around 1952) travelled the Trans-Siberian rail system on her honeymoon back in the 1930s. she used to show us pics of it. And we were in Glendale,CA USA which was a virulently anti-commie town then, and probably still is.
The thought I had watching these beautiful scenes is that we are being “Centralized” as well as “Westernized.”
Russia is already westernized, judging by the music, roads, cars and traffic. Were those voices Russians singing in English? It seemed the travelers were driving on the right side of the road. Pun intended.
If it’s true that we’re all coming together in the center, what’s going to be in the center?
When Russia wins the war on humanity, she will have another war on her hands and this time it’s planetary.
I just hope Russia can break the money mania mirage. It’s a long shot, again judging from these long shot views. The big shots are blind as bats and they can’t see either. The little shots want to be big shots so where does that go?
I don’t know but I do know where I want to go. To the only center that holds, water or whatever. I call it love. Call it anything you like. Love by any other name is still love.
Privet Dennis James Leary,
well said! There is no way I can agree more with you.
See the following videos and get *devastated*.
They show how naive and full of hope and good heartily open intentions the real Soviet-Russians were when they still existed.

Often they blame the Bolsheviks for allgedly having destroyed “Russian’ness”.
Now Communism is dead for a quarter of a century. But look how much Russia got westernized – as you correctly say.
What is getting lost (or actually not there anymore) : S O L I D A R I T Y
He is an Old English Soldier (about 10 years younger than me) – my wife kind of found him making Beauty – of our next door neighbour’s garden ..and she asked him in..She asked him to do ours too – whilst she was Childminding and I was at work working all hours God sends…
He was living and sleeping on a park bench
My wife welcomed him in – can you cut my grass too…
and so he did….she gave him a few quid and fed him..
He had no one – done the war stuff when he was a kid…
and so when he needed the operation..we drove him to the hospital…
and we took him back to our home..and looked after him..
My wife who is not a nurse dressed his bandages..
and he got better -he now has his own council flat…
but is worried…He is getting a bit paranoid….
He asked me tonight to take a photograph of him – showing his face – and his English Passport…
and the light was dark..and I said I got you mate…but he still wasn’t satisfied…
so my wife did photos of him on her mobile phone – and so did my Sis
He is getting quite old now – and is worrying – about losing his tiny little flat and going back to a park bench.
And I think wtf?
He says -They All want to come to England Now.
The entire World..they want to take my home..
I says don’t be daft.
I have got your photo mate – and your passport details.
and you will not lose your home in England
He says’ why do they all want to come here???
I replied it is to meet you mate.
He has still got a little bit of PTSD – but he wouldn’t harm a fly…Still very fit..

Thank you for sharing this very special story.
“He Loves My Wife & Me”
And it is clear that you both love him too. Lucky people, both you and he for having found you.
I have always wondered, why there are so many people who collect animals in the street, cares them, feeds them and gives them everything they can and can not do the same with people.
Thank you for bringing this touching story here, Tony. Reminds me of the old days in the blog where there was room for affection, now almost completely eradicated after the supposed expertise / quality…..
It seems that the state of emergency extends beyond France, and it is not because I live so near there, I can feel even here. I guess it’s because the owner of the house, who first gave rise to the expression of affection, doing the same with his, is busy, away……
“I will only ever be drawn to people who suffer from that special and fertile anguish called self-doubt, or the thirst for the ideal, and desire for the soul’s mystical fire. Self-satisfaction because of some material accomplishment will never be for me. The truly great are those who quest for better spiritual selves”.
Isabelle Eberhardt
“A subject to which few intellectuals ever give a thought is the right to be a vagrant, the freedom to wander. Yet vagrancy is a deliverance, and life on the open road is the essence of freedom. To have the courage to smash the chains with which modern life has weighted us (under the pretext that it was offering us more liberty), then to take up the symbolic stick and bundle and get out”.
“But the vagrant owns the whole vast earth that ends only at the nonexistent horizon, and his empire is an intangible one, for his domination and enjoyment of it are things of the spirit”.

This is what will help in the ceasefire.. lack of training. The operator had not turned on the ECM systems or even closed the hatches. The older tanks would have been completely destroyed by the direct hit and killed everyone. But the T90 looks damaged so it would be repaired and the other crew might even have survived. Amazing that Russia allowed such amateurs to operate such rare equipment. We know the ECM works and have multiple methods to foil ATGM’s. These idiots did not even have anything on and were not even prepared. Now you know how most SAA soldiers died.. It is also how Israel took out the Iraqi nuclear reactor..

The alleged T-90 seems to have been saved by its reactive armor, which uses explosions to disrupt the supersonic jet of an anti-tank warhead and reduce its impact.
