Hours after the Russia-bound Metrojet flight 9268 A321 with Russian vacationers exploded in the sky over Sinai on October 31st, 2015, President Putin had not come on TV to address the people of Russia. Many immediately questioned why. Many observers had also noticed that before this act of terror and hours after it there was a coordinated influx of messages on social media declaring that Russian planes would be dropping down from the skies everywhere until, mind you, Russians surrender to some mysterious forces. If you go back on Twitter and search for those messages you might still find some of them, but the majority of them mysteriously vanished just as coordinated as they appeared. Russian planes have not been dropping from the skies by the hundreds, as it was projected.
So… Where was President Putin for several hours between the explosion of the plane and him talking to the Minister of Defense, Shoigu, on the news?
Minutes after the terror attack on the Russian passenger jet, the airborne strategic command center aboard an Ilyushin Il-80 aircraft, took off.
Immediately after, far away in the US, Obama was whisked away from Washington on his helicopter and the US “Doomsday plane” took off and started circling around. Russia’s nuclear forces took aim at major US targets. Apparently, some exchange of words took place between the Russians and Washingtonians.
When President Putin was finally seen on the news many people commented that he looked like he was “just taken off a cross.”
Whatever gleeful reaction was expressed by some Europeans and Americans on the account of the death of many Russian passengers, they apparently didn’t realize that these could be their last day on earth.
I am bringing up this little known factoid to illustrate that Russia’s government is not going to dance around when it comes to the preservation of peace and stability in the country. And that any attempt of such will be immediately forwarded back to Washington, militarily speaking. This all in accord with Russia’s new Military Doctrine 2014.
That’s why the creation of Russia’s National Guards has been such a timely and absolutely necessary step in the preservation of domestic peace and tranquility considering the threats of terror and a “bloody revolution” during the upcoming elections.
The following is the National Guard’s statute. It’s written in a direct bureaucratic language that should be easy to translate, if you please, using an online translator
The statute on the federal service of the National Guard of the Russian federation
положение о федеральной службе войск национальной гвардии российской федерации
President Vladimir Putin has ordered that a National Guard be created in Russia under the auspices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The guard will fight terrorism and organized crime.
“We have made a decision to create a new federal executive body within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, namely the National Guard,” the president said Tuesday.
The National Guard “will be fighting terrorism, organized crime, all in close cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They will also continue to perform the functions which are currently carried out by riot police units, SWAT, etc.,” he added.
April 5th, President Putin orders creation of National Guard to fight terrorism, organized crime
Vladimir Putin: National Guard to Fight Terrorism
Two days later, on April 7th President Vladimir Putin made a plea to young journalists while attending the Russian Popular Front’s third “Truth and Justice” media forum of regional and local mass media.
“It is symbolic that we gather here in St. Petersburg again. Why? [Because] St. Petersburg, or Leningrad, has been named the City of Three Revolutions. I hope that the result of your efforts will be not a fourth revolution but, on the contrary, you will work honestly and openly and contribute to the natural, correct and just balance of interests in our society.”
“Free press can be an enemy only for crooks, criminals and those who steal from the state budget. For the authorities as such, for those who serve their people such situation is impossible,” Putin stated.

April 12 1961 – First man in space
Imagine, just 16 years after the victory in the most devastating war Russia has ever knew, Russian engineering genius developed and accomplished the ever flight to space.
Yandex came up with an animated app depicting Gagarin’s flight. Go to Yandex.ru and click on Gagarin’s photo on the left
The following is what our contributor from Russia wrote to me:
“I just thought about the date April 12 … The day when Yuri Gagarin became the first man ever in space. Maybe it’ll be reasonable to let English-speaking audience know about this event more – according to my experience not many people are aware… My daughter was studying in European school and their teacher told them that it was Americans who were the first. When my daughter told about Yuri Gagarin the teacher tried to explain: Yuri Gagarin was a cosmonaut and the Americans were ASTRONAUTS because they intended to go to other stars… The question why he thinks that Russians send a man in a spaceship without such intentions remained without answer… So, maybe it is worth mentioning.”

According to the principles of European Union openness and freedom of speech which dictates that only the EU has the right to speak, while everyone else must shut up, the Baltic mini-Nazi regimes block Russian Sputnik news and Russia Today. As they are better known as “sardine-stan” and “sardine-reich” the Baltics consist of three occupied by the EU Russian provinces, legally purchased by the Emperor Peter the Great. [source] [source] [source]
On April 11, Latvian regime blocked Russia RTR TV channel.
With the expediently dying population and dead as a doorknob economies, the Baltics are becoming a launching pad for NATO.
The Baltic regimes make strong emphasis on their “Uniqueness” in terms of preservation of their extremely valuable ethnicities, and necessity for ethnic cleansing of less valuable Russians. The truth is, that “uniparental genetic markers, mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and the non-recombining part of the Y-chromosome (NRY), indicate that the genetic composition of Slavs does not differ significantly from that of their neighboring non-Slavic populations.”
To address questions about the genetic history of the carriers of this large linguistic subfamily within the neighboring non-Balto-Slavic Indo-European, Finno-Ugric, North Caucasian and Turkic speakers. It turns out that Russians from the northern region of the European part of Russia are differentiated from the rest of the East Slavs, and on genetic plots lie in the vicinity of their Finnic-speaking geographic neighbors.
I don’t know how credible this research is since it was funded by the US government and ideologically motivated. This research, btw, completely destroys a popular amongst Ukro-fascists and the German fascists theory that Russians are “pale Mongolians.”
“As far as minor ancestral components are concerned, only West and East Slavs, and, predominantly North Russians, bear the ‘Siberian/Volga-region’ component (k5, lemon yellow) (Fig 3). It is noteworthy that the k6 component, predominant among Han Chinese and abundant in Mongols and Altaians, is virtually absent in Russians, suggesting that the “East Eurasian” share in North and Central Russian ancestry is due to admixture with North-Central Siberians, rather than with South Siberia/Mongols (Fig 3, S2 Fig).”

Link to the original video report on Rossiya-1 channel’s Vesti Nedeli Weekly News here
In this documentary, a former Russia’s Investigative Committee officer, Pavel Karpov, — whose name is on a U.S. blacklist of Russian officials connected to Magnitsky’s death in 2009, talks about millions of documents they manage to retrieve from Ukraine after the military revolt. He and a former Berezovsky’s security officer have accused opposition leader Alexei Navalny of having ties to Bill Browder — the head of the Hermitage Capital investment fund and former employer of Sergei Magnitsky, who died in captivity under suspicious circumstances.

Associated Press writes about “another Panama-based foundation played a similar role in obscuring the finances of Elena Baturina, the wife of Moscow’s ex-mayor and repeatedly listed as Russia’s wealthiest woman.” Elena Baturina is a wife os Eltsin appointed Mayor of Moscow Lujkov. The couple, allegedly, funneled billions of dollars of taxpayers’ money. But, neither one of them was ever charged for any wrongdoing.

Spring draft in Russia
This spring, military had received 30,000 more application than 155,000 planned to draft.
This is a completely new development that has started two years ago. Starting with 1990s and until two years ago, the military struggled with a shortage of recruits. Now, the prestige of serving in Russia’s military and receiving training and education that military provide, trumps even leading universities.
The new law dictates that only those who served in the military will be able to get government jobs and to be elected. With the exemption of women. That’s why people have filling complains that those who want to serve are not being drafted.
The prestige of the military service is so high now, and the law about the government jobs is so pressing, that now even sons and daughters of government bureaucrats want to get in, rather than to avoid military service like they would do in the past. In majority they are healthy life style enthusiasts, who have some achievements in sports, and don’t drink alcohol. In 2014 19% of all draftees had University degrees, and percentage of servicemen with college degrees is steadily rising.
Another issue that in 90s and 2000s many draftees were underweight, and military would feed them for several weeks to make them gain healthy weight. This is not a problem any longer.
In the first time ever new draftees will receive personal electronic cards, and carrions with all the personal necessities. Also, in the first time, recruits will have daytime sleep as a part of their schedule. [source] [source]

Thank you for the report, Scott.
The opening comments regarding the possibility of a nuclear exchange in the wake up of the Sinai plane assault is chilling. I thank you for bringing to light these facts. Your description of the whole series of events helps put a clearer picture on both the possible avenues of attack against Russia and the likely Russian response. Invaluable.
Do you think the new national guard will help unravel the criminal / terrorist / drug / 5th column elements? Is there a possibility that the Atlanticists, as Saker describes, will be taken down shortly?
I see from your link that foreigners may be able to start farming a small plot in Russia. Considering Russia has a full ban on GMO, one might be inclined to take up the offer and retire to some peace and nature.
RT’s Peter Lavelle, who hots Crosstalk, is very disillusioned with Russia Insider and Charles Bausman. It confirms all my suspicions about RI:
http://www.fort-russ.com/2016/04/bausman-and-fraud-at-russia-insider.html
Scott, excellent as always.
Only one question: Which sources did you use for the description of what you say happened on the day of the “crash”? Or did I overlook something?
From the top of my head I remember that it took almost a week until Russia and gov-loyal media finally confirmed the “possibility” that it “may” have been a terror attack or at least that “such a possibility can no longer be ruled out”. What was confusing was that all the western MSM were quick on reporting about the “terror attack” and redistributing the ISIS statements “We did that and take full responsibility”, only Russia (and for different reasons – Egypt!) hesitated to follow what was already quite obvious. Back then I thought Russia is intentionally doing so because otherwise western dirt-media could have turned it around, like “Look, Putin shot down another plane, this time to invade the next innocent country after a Radio Gleiwitz false flag incident”.
It was the long awaited unknown event after the jewish blood moon tirade. Actually there are two such events: This is the 2nd one with the migration flooding the 1st.
While those 2 together and the resulting confusion and chaos could very well have triggered a thermo-nuclear war, at the time I hot no clue that it was _that_ tight :(
Back then I was simply DEAD-angry about the different western reporting of the MH17 victims versus these innocent Russian families, women, children returning from their holidays :(
Also, in Germany there are still some fools using “Je suis Charlie” and “Je suis Paris” as their daily footers, but nobody had a single tear for the dead Russians. It enrages me and makes me MAD!!!!!!!!!!
Whatever, that was how I experienced that day and its aftermath.
“Funny” to know it could have been the end already.
Thanks for the hint about the free hectar in the Far East. I like it there (was on the Chinese side).
If it is really possible I won’t hesitate a minute to migrate there.
(I hope they also take Soviets there …)
Ok, for as long as people regard the Soviets “as anti-Russian” (enemies?) it is probably better I remain home- and state-less.
Panama Papers: Soros against the Rothschilds?
http://katehon.com/article/panama-papers-soros-against-rothschilds
Anglos (Rockerfellers) vs. Zionists (Rothschilds).
Pindosi civil war.
There seems to be some sort of split happening. In Syria it seems to be UK and Saudi/Turkey behind the latest Nusra offensive rather than US. Also regarding “containing China”, a lot of US money invested in China, so the possibility of some sort of US split there.
Interesting article but rather far fetched. Despite the ethnicity of the Rockefellers, they are as globalist as they come. Other points of the article such as Soros opposing Rothschild and Rothschild being essentially pro-Putin really don’t seem too plausible.
Look into it Johnathan.
Yes. We could be witnessing a rigged game. Both sides have many common interests. It is impossible to discount a joint effort to take Russia down. I remain equally suspicious of both ‘sides.’
However,
One side (Rockerfellers) has much more to lose in the transition away from US dollar hegemony and has a history of cooperation with the Soviet Union, before and after WW2. Rockerfellers developed oil fields around Baku for Stalin, for example.
The frame I propose is most useful for determining factions and conflicts within the empire. Once understood, they can be exploited. All evidence suggests Putin understands this and is doing his best to preserve Russian interests by partnering with certain factions, as required.
What has surprised me most is the degree to which web sayanim and paid 5 eyes trolls work hard to discourage this line of inquiry, telling me I’m on to something.
Certainly possible. No doubt a very complex situation though. It seems unlikely that Rothschild would support a multi-polar world. However, they may certainly hedge their bets in the near term and play both sides. I’ve also often wondered if the oligarchy may at some point choose to replace the US as the primary operative agent of enforcement.
As a US citizen, I’ve also been curious if a nationalist counter force may emerge to the Zionists in the US. Trump has been speculated as an agent of such. However, he’s supported by Adelson so that seems unlikely. The Iran deal may be a symptom of this. I was flummoxed that Obama was able to defy Netanyahu. The status of Israel is a good metric for how the wind is blowing for the Rothschild’s it seems to me.
But in any case, conflict among the oligarchy by no means implies that there are “good guys” and “bad guys” unfortunately.
@Johnathan
I fully agree with your observation; it is highly unlikely Rothschilds would partner with Russia.
I took this specific point as an attempt at misdirection (an instance of pure inversion), in an otherwise informative article.
If you look closely at Katheon you will likely discover those who sponser it are partisans of the bigger game, specifically on the side of said Rothschild gang, as are a majority of Russia’s London based oligarchs. Most English language and pro Russian press is tied to Zionist interests, including RT. Americans are much less sophisticated in this regard and frankly, it shows.
The partnership that makes most sense is Russia plus the Rockerfeller group including co sponsers of the Panama Papers such as the Ford Foundation, Carnegie endowment, Kellog Foundation and Soros’ Open Society — all folks associated with the so-called Anglo faciton.
Such an alliance is not new and if you accept Putin has very good intelligence, his words of support for Trump are a possible indicator of a partnership with the US-centric interests. By contrast Rothschild City of London Zionist interests are diametrically opposed those of Russia.
Russia’s foreign policy is getting as confusing as America’s foreign policy. Russia could have waltzed into Ukraine, but didn’t. Russia could have waltzed into Syria, but didn’t really, and is now “withdrawing”. Russia could have waltzed into Turkey, but didn’t.
So why would Russia over-react over a downed plane in Egypt? It doesn’t make sense, more Russians died in Donbass than on that aircraft. What are Russian airlines doing anywhere out of Russia or Asia anyway, and why are Russian airlines flying airbus aircraft and not their own locally produced planes? Why are Russians going on holiday out of Russia? Their country is the biggest in the world.
Russia must get its ducks in a row and stop dithering between Europe and Asia. Pick one and stick with it, come hell or highwater. Right now Russia wants to stand with one leg in Asia and the another leg in Europe, so guess where Russia is getting kicked.
As a matter of fact,Russia stands indeed with one leg in Asia and another in Europe. It is a world in two worlds,it is Russia.
gT …’Why are Russians going on holiday out of Russia? Their country is the biggest in the world.’
LOL …that comments suggests that Russians should stick to their rather big corner of the world and not have the ‘gall’ or ‘audacity’ to visit some of the many wonders of the world.
Travel broadens the mind – sitting at home on the couch broadens the backside.
Its more about the practicalities of survival and defense than mind broadening. When times are tough one should hunker down, stockpile the arms and ammunition, etc. Not get a heart attack over your enemy blowing your plane out of the air outside your country. If its outside your border its a target and its expendable.
this info about last halloween almost being the last ever is pretty scary. so i’m trying to lookup stuff to corroborate but not finding. are there any links that anybody can share that might help?
Rob,
1. Try to search websites that do tracking flight information. Look if they have info on any “unidentified” jet or helicopter over Washington DC and Moscow at the time.
2. try to use Internet Archive and wayback machine and search for tweets and FB posts with this sort of flight information
Kindly let me know, if you find anything.
I asked Mr. Scott the same question, but it appears the reason why I didn’t at least get such a short respone has to do with his and his boss’s bad feelings towards communism.
I’m also still waiting for explanations why they don’t get rid of the Oligarchs, let completely alone unRothschilding the Rouble (as detailed in Starikov’s book).
You know, believe or don’t believe what you want.
It is really _not_ about me here.
If you indeed fight for the Whites and want back to the Tsar, do so.
But at the same time it means nothing will ever be done for the lower 99,9%.
And then the question raised by some is imho indeed justified: What makes a non-communist Russia different not to ask BETTER in terms of ideology?
Only hot air, the inconvenient questions get no answers.

Hi Scott,
thank you for your brotherly message and sorry for having taken it personally.
I have big financial problems here in Germany.
I simply cannot understand how anybody can survive in Ukraine, if the place I am living in is already “paradise” “promised land”.
Having said that, the situation is like this all over eastern and southern EU (and somewhat less so, but after all similar in western, northern and central EU) and sadly it doesn’t appear to be much better in Russia, either.
Judging from the wages paid in smaller cities in Russia where I had a look at the jobs market.
And at the moment they only call it “begin” of the great depression.
It all will end badly on a global scale.
I’m really desparate.
Hugs,
Martin
Thanks that needed to be said.
Martin, these are terrible economic times. Courage, this too shall pass.
PS. even if we disagree on certain issues, I still enjoy reading your contributions. Your London airport security rant was really funny!!
Thanks, Serbian girl.
The same is also valid vice versa (your rare recents posts).
But I doubt the economy will ever recover, the markets are fully saturated and more and more automized. In the past capitalizm still worked at least a bit, because the Oligarchs needed to employ some workers who would then get a tiny share of the wealth which they in turn would spend back into the economy again. This is less and less so!
Add to this that we live at the end of an exponential debts cycle, a 100 years time bomb shortly before it explodes. Exponential growth of debts payments sucks up most budgets and leads to even faster even larger new debts (both privately and on the governments level).
Governments or souvereign nations – you won’t find any those days. It’s all owned and enslaved by shadow masters.
The AZ Empire knows this and tries what it can to start a war.
Dark times.
And with that war we know what “recovery” means …
Regarding my airport posts: I don’t know if my rant was “funny”.
Only less than a day after I experienced that hassle and asked myself if it is smart to have private security firms manage such high-security areas, especially if those then hire religious muslims, Brussels happened. And later I came across news paper reports that up to 50 muslim employes worked at Brussels airport and may have played a role in preparation of the teror attacks.
Then let’s read this:

If they have robots taking over people’s jobs, they will still need people to make those robots… New technologies always bring new opportunities.
For me the root cause of this global economic crisis is the totally fraudulent and criminal financial system that has completely distorted market supply and demand and created debt to finance consumption. They just borrowed that consumption from the future. This is why there such a glut in the markets.
I agree with you that this system will come to its catastrophic end very soon and good riddance; but it will be very painful.
China and Russia are setting up a parallel financial system. Hopefully it will be ready on time so when the next crash happens we’ll all have lifeboats. But this is not our worry. As you say, right now we should enjoy life.
Take care.
“If they have robots taking over people’s jobs, they will still need people to make those robots”
Hmm https://www.technologyreview.com/s/544201/china-wants-to-replace-millions-of-workers-with-robots/
“China is laying the groundwork for a robot revolution by planning to automate the work currently done by millions of low-paid workers.
At the World Robot Conference in Beijing, attendees watch an industrial robot write Chinese characters.
The government’s plan will be crucial to a broader effort to reform China’s economy while also meeting the ambitious production goals laid out in its latest economic blueprint, which aims to double per capita income by 2020 from 2016 levels with at least 6.5 percent annual growth. The success of this effort could, in turn, affect the vitality of the global economy.
The scale and importance of China’s robot ambitions were made clear when the vice president of the People’s Republic of China, Li Yuanchao, appeared at the country’s first major robotics conference, held recently in Beijing. Standing onstage between two humanoid entertainment robots with outsized heads, Li delivered a message from China’s leader, Xi Jinping, congratulating the organizers of the effort. He also made it clear that robotics would be a major priority for the country’s economic future.
Many of the robots on show at the conference’s exhibition hall were service or entertainment robots such as automated vacuum cleaners, cheap drones, or quirky looking machines designed to serve as personal companions. But there were also many industrial robots that signaled the real impetus for China’s robot push: its manufacturing sector.”
Here is an example of the (to me) wrongheaded thinking in the World. In countries with population problems, low birth-rates,I see a use for robots. But in countries with over a billion (yes billion) people like China and India. And many others with a hundred million or more people. And in countries like those, with immense poverty among millions, or hundreds of millions of their people. Robots that take jobs,or help sustain poverty among the citizens,is an insane idea. You only need machines do do human labor when you don’t have humans to do that labor. Or when the labor is dangerous or too time consuming for humans to do well and safely. That should be a “governing document 101 ” for nations leaders to learn. The number one job of a leader of a nation is to benefit and improve the lives of their people. If they can’t or won’t do their job, they need to be replaced with one who will.
“The number one job of a leader of a nation is to benefit and improve the lives of their people”
Since when does a leader who is subservient to the corporate oligarchy (as they are everywhere – it’s called Capitalism but with rape of the social coffers thrown in for good measure) ever have the benefit of “the people” in mind?
Hi Uncle Bob,

is it still an effect in Russia? Would like to know more.
Also could you amend and put Crimean Tatar to distinguish between those is Tatarstan.
Thanks, James lake, I fixed it.
As for the Panama Papers leak, neo-liberals tried to trumped it up, but it just fell on deaf ears. No one cares.
People see all these as yet another Western psy-op.
Cameron has become somewhat a laughing stock, so.
Is there a link between the information reveled here and the fact that there was war game in Israël close to the border where the plane was downed?
Sitrep Scott: Good one. I remember two years ago when Saker was talking about being a Submarine in the desert as a metaphor for being in a state of internal exile from the culture at large, but reading your Sitrep I had the first feelings of just what a physical external exile will feel like.. It is an acid sadness that tightens at the back of the throat in a repressed sob. My friends want me to emigrate .
President Putin is already at my 100% approval rating so I suppose the next level might be worshipful adoration. His nose-to-nose strategy was correct, but it must be exhausting to have to do this kind of brinkmanship. The American ruling groups are mentally dissociated from human feeling and reason; that the best the political culture can come up with is Trump for King versus Hillary for Wicked Witch of the West is proof of that. ( Hilary-Blarney is just a side-show to keep discussion within the corporate-approval box)

The question has been asked at least twice.
Spill the beans! Where did you get this juicy stuff?
So, do YOU monitor Flightradar24 etc. and follow Tweets yourself?
You seem well-informed. I guess it’s all in Russian somewhere?
Bless you and keep working.
Hi, Andronicus
Thanks, bro.
“Spill the beans! Where did you get this juicy stuff?”
OK
1. A couple of days after the A321 explosion I saw flight reports about an unidentified plane over D.C. It was on some pro-US military twitter account. They made an assumption that it was the US Doomsday plane that was circling around. The guys were chatting that Obama was taken to a secure place, because of the “Russian” threat. They said that it was done in response to the Russian Doomsday plane.
I dismissed it, assuming that it was just the US Navy vets’ PTSD acting up again, or too many beers. I also have seen many tweets coming from ISIS bots and Ukrainian bots about taking down every Russian civilian plane, so Russians won’t be able to flight. I think I had mentioned this in one of my SITREPs.
Then, I got distracted by this version of explosions in a tin can. They always get you distracted by something so ridiculous. I know that I should be better than to believe this. The very first accounts that come out after the terror attacks are usually the most correct.
Then all the other news came up and this just got buried in my memory. Last week I was reading something written by a person that I trust very much in terms of publishing correct insider information. Several people were talking about Putin and what a great guy he is. And someone brought up how Putin acted during the A321 crises when Russia was blackmailed by the threats of blowing up and shooting down all Russians planes.
The rest is history.
I really need to go back to look for this one tweet with the flight report, but I just don’t have time to do this right now.
I am sure it’s still somewhere there. I am also certain that there were tweets with the Russian Doomsday flight reports also. If you have a minute, maybe you can research this and report to us?
regards, Scott
Seems to be more to the downing of the plane in Egypt than what we are being told. From my understanding, the official cause is a small bomb placed near the rear of the aircraft to blow the tail section off. That matches as far as the tail section being the first bit of wreckage in the debris field, but both wing tanks and center tank were ruptured to an extent that there was no fuel fire on the ground. Over 20 tons of fuel gone in just a couple of minutes, with both wings burnt from tip to tip before it hit the ground, but the skeleton still intact. Like the fuel tanks had been blown out. A small bomb at the tail would not cause this.
Ok, very interesting, Scott. Can you say more about 31 October and Comrade President “looking like he just been taken off a cross”?
Thank you Scott for great sitrep and especially for the links to Pavel Ryzhenko’s paintings. What a treasure. The guy did wonders with light and color, some of the paintings have an almost Rembrandt/Vermeer look to the clothing but then again there’s the realistic “impressionism” of a true visionary. Beautiful stuff, would probably never have seen them if not for you. Very few artists anywhere painting with this kind of historical depth and empathy (imagining past events so deeply) anywhere.
I am glad to see, that the author can read scientific papers! However I disagree with autors comments concerning that paper. First of all, it was not funded by US covernment – it was an international collaboration and all contributing sources have been listed in the acknowledgements section. If you argue, that the methodology used in this paper is biased or the conclusions are wrong, then you can easily conduct similar research to replicate the findings or to prove that the results were wrong.
Yes – Baltic ethnicities are not genetically different from their neighbours. As there are no geographic nor cultural barriers between Baltics and their neighbouring countries, the gene pool is very similar among all these countries. So what?
Also, your cited papers dont tell that RT and sputnik are banned in all Baltic countries, do they?
Esten,
You wrote: “I am glad to see, that the author can read scientific papers! ”
I am flattered. I can see that it’s nearly impossible for an Estonian to acknowledge that a Russian can actually read. Oh, horror!
You’re right. After getting several degrees from world renowned colleges, I finally learned how to read.
And, I can sense a huge disappointment, but the Baltic “nations’ don’t differ genetically from us, Northern Russians. If, of course, you believe what the US government’s paid scientists write.
Regards
Haha, a look at history reveals that the Baltic tribes had to use RUS-ian as official language for many centuries, because they themselves did not have a written language on their own:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Duchy_of_LithuaniaLanguages
“””””The Constitution of May 3 was one of the first official state documents, issued in both Polish and Lithuanian language. Lithuanian language edition of the Constitution.
In the 13th century, the center of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, was inhabited by a majority which spoke Lithuanian,[39] but it was not a written language until the 16th century.[40] In the other parts of the duchy, the majority of the population, including Ruthenian nobles and ordinary people used both spoken and written Ruthenian languages.[39] “””””
There is nothing to be dissapointed about – as the biochemist already wrote, most of the neighbouring countries share the same genetic variants and if you look at the authors list, then you notice that large part of this study was made in Estonia. Spanish and Portugese people are also genetically very similar (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2735096/) – I hope you agree that these are still two different nations?
“non-recombining part of the Y-chromosome (NRY), ”
Hard to see the point of this bit Scott. I mean, it’s about 95% of the Y, which doesn’t recombine anyway. Chromosomes only recombine with their “pair” at mitosis and meiosis. The Y has no “pair” to recombine with. It’s been used as a genetic marker because of its stability for years, but to use it to determine ancestry alone is dubious. I’d be inclined to disregard it without some Haploid group studies, and Slavs have a predominance of a particular haploid group.
There’s always a need to be so careful with these studies, they change all the time and often dont tell us as much as people outside genetics like to think. Using them as an excuse for “genetic genocide [I abhor the word cleansing here] is all too easy for Banderistas and their soul brothers to do.

Thanks, Anon, for your comment.
Truly, I wouldn’t know what to make of it.
That’s why I posted the link to this “research” here, so someone like you could explain to us what’s going on.
Consider that there is a “genetic theory” of Maidan, that I suspect funded by the US government.
And, esten, if a research is posted on the US gov website, it’s funded by the US gov. directly or indirectly.
Regards
Scott
The study used info from Y chromosome, mitocondria and autosomal chromosomes, so it was not just Y chomosome analysis. The paper was published in PloS One, which is well known open access peer reviewed journal.
Who do most nationalities most closely resemble at the genetic level? No surprise: it is their closest neighbors in most cases. Not convinced? Check it out at http://www.admixturemap.paintmychromosomes.com/ (if this site will allow the posting of urls). Yes, Russians are most like the highly offended Lithuanians, Poles, Belorussians, Finns and other Baltic peoples, with just a tinge of northern Asiatic blood to themselves. The DNA shows that ALL Europeans ultimately descended from peoples that spent millennia migrating up from Africa and throughout central Asia before swinging West. Somewhere between the Caspian and Black Seas the R1a Y-haplotype (most common amongst Slavs) gave rise to the R1b Y-haplotype (most common in Western Europe) which was carried to the farthest reaches of Western Europe. But there are still many R1b haplotypes in Eastern Europe (we are R1b Kashubes from Pomerania on my father’s side) and many R1a’s in the West because individual people never stopped migrating and intermarrying with the natives.
excellent article re the exposee of

“One of the clear missions of Russian state television in 2016, the year of elections to the State Duma. has been to discredit Alexei Navalny, the long established blogger, wily critic of the Kremlin and leader of the new generation ‘non-systemic’ opposition by exposing him as a fraud in the pay of Russia’s Western rivals and ill-wishers.
Several weeks ago Russian state television broadcast hidden camera recordings of Navalny’s first meeting with Carl Bildt, former Swedish premier and foreign minister, best known in this part of the world for leading the Eastern Partnership program aimed at removing former Soviet republics, notably Ukraine, from the Russian sphere of influence.
This past Sunday, the Vesti nedeli program, a prime time Sunday evening wrap-up of the week’s news presented by the senior journalist and manager of Russia’s informational broadcasting resources, Dmitry Kiselyov, showed excerpts from a documentary film about Navalny and his mentor, or handler, William F. Browder. (Video below – in Russian only)’

The audio is not so good, but I’m sure (I hope) he has higher quality audios in Russian.
Unfortunately I don’t speak Russian, but I have learned to read Russian phonetically. Now I just need to keep working on it.
The Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the statement by the head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini, who spoke about relations with Russia. According Mogerini, “return to the relations in the mode of business as usual (business as usual – Ed.).” Will not be until Russia “will not respect its international obligations.”
These statements said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova . “What kind of” international obligations “does not respect the Russian? Does not the Minsk agreement, which she herself initiated, and which calls on a weekly basis to carry out, by addressing the treatment Kiev signatories and sponsors, including from the EU?” – Wondered Zakharov. The corresponding entry appeared in the “Facebook” a representative of the Foreign Ministry.
Zakharov also responded to accusations that Russia allegedly does not comply with international law. “? When Russia does not respect international law when prevented UN collapse, dreamed about 15 years ago, our Western partners, started a few large” exposing scandals “to discredit the organization – she said -. When taken in the international arena of action the Russian side motivates “coalition” does not support without legal status, and applicable international instruments and procedures? ”
According to Zakharov, the EU itself does not do that, as called for in the other. “What are the provisions of international law give the EU reason to interfere in the internal affairs of sovereign states, until the intervention?” – I wrote to the Foreign Ministry. She asked why the EU does not need to bring to justice “those who stood behind Serbia redrawing of borders”, and why a number of EU countries have forgotten “to endorse them in Kiev agreement Yanukovych and the opposition guaranteeing transitional regime change”, which resulted in the end ” a bloodbath “in Ukraine.
“When the EU starts to abide by international law concerning refugees? And will start if the European Union ever conscientiously implement something that encourages the rest of us?” – Said Zakharov. And he added that “business as usual” is not “is Russian …”, but in principle.”

Two things:
One way to show you are seriously pissed is taking a ride on the doomsday plane. Once boarded, it is even more useful to see who reacts and how.
Second, the wayback machine is a project of the CIA.
Scott,
I’ve been meaning to have a Word with You…but you keep making me laugh..
Unlike my daughter, my son, never showed that much interest in photography except for doing something really difficult..like shooting shooting stars…so I said O.K you can borrow my camera – with the very best lens…but he never said..I thought he was just taking photos with his mobile phone..so I asked for it back…especially That Lens…
He has been taking a photo of his new baby with it…every day.. since he was born.
I said – lets have a look..
Good Boy…You can have my camera back..
Now its Yours.
I am really impressed.
My Grandson is just so Beautiful.
So you can’t have a Nuclear War Now.

Scheduled for Apr 14, 2016
Russian President Vladimir Putin is due to hold the 14th annual ‘Direct Line’ Q&A session in Moscow on Thursday, April 14.
RT usually has a live coverage too.
“The new law dictates that only those who served in the military will be able to get government jobs and to be elected.” That’s fascinating. Is it really true? What’s THE new law? The one about National Guard? What does the constitution have to say about it?
hysteria from Netherlands continues
ramp it up
MOSCOW, April 15. / TASS /. Russia’s Defense Ministry has rejected the statements made by Dutch Defense Minister Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert two weeks ago in an interview with the national daily NRC Handelsblat.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert claimed in an article on April 1 that Russian bombers systematically violated the airspace of the Netherlands and also urged to protest against the passage of Russian naval ships through the exclusive economic zone of the Netherlands and against Russian military threats to Baltic states.
As Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said, “unfounded, unsubstantiated statements that have unfortunately become a visiting card of some Western politicians again cause bewilderment.”
“First of all, we state officially that there were no violations of the Dutch airspace by the aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Force. Secondly, the stay of Russian ships in the exclusive economic zone of a particular state, including the Netherlands, takes place in full compliance with international law provisions, namely, the UN Law of the Sea Convention of 1982. Thirdly, which specific military threat to the Baltic states is meant? ” he said.
According to Antonov, in her article the Dutch defense minister referred to her rich experience of work in Riga where, as she put it, she had had the possibility to see with her own eyes the existence of these threats.
“However, Mrs. Hennis-Plasschaert does not specify in her article what exactly terrible she saw in those years in Latvia,” the Russian deputy defense minister said.
“In this connection, only one thing has to be noted: such untrue and insulting pronouncements by the Dutch politician addressed to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation testify to the deliberate anti-Russian campaign carried out by the current Dutch leadership,” Antonov said .
