On November 25 Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed Turkish convoy arrived in border Syrian town Azaz from Turkey. Azaz is under control of pro-Turkish terrorist groups. According to reports, Russian warplanes destroyed 20 trucks and 7 militants, 10 militants wee injured.
The Russian Air Force increased number of airstrikes over the Turkmen Mountains, Kurdish Mountains, and the Prophet Jonah Mountains of northern Latakia. According to the field reports, the Russian warplanes and their helicopter gunships have already conducted three dozen airstrikes in this area.
Meanwhile, Moscow is ready to defend its military grouping in Siria. Russian guided missile cruiser «Moskva» joint with escort ships arrived at the shore zone of Northern Latakia near Turkish border to defend Russian Air Forces from any threats. S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft weapon systems are deploying at the Russian Air Force base in Latakia.
In turn, Turkey started a military build up at the Syrian border. According to the media report, Anakra moved at least 20 additional battle tanks from the western provinces to the border with Syria.

I read that as the syrian-turkmens, led by Turkish nationals who shot down the pilot as he parachuted to saftey. Are there any images of what happened there, does the area still exist? they must have pulverised them. Putin calmly confirmed at his press conference that they had been finished off. To refer to them as Turkmens gives the impression that Turkey has some say in yhe matter, better to call them mysterious groups and finish them.

Nations do this when going to a war footing mode with another. I think the unstated meaning of this Russian declaration is that they will treat any potential threat from Turkish forces as a real threat from a nation they are essentially at war with.
IE: the Turks can expect quick retaliation for any future attacks and possibly preemptive Russian actions in situations where a potential Turk attack could materialize, such, for example, as Turk aircraft getting close enough to Russian or Syrian aircraft to be able to attack them.

The news of the actual deployment of s-400 by russian army + video = fact + proving my earlier comment below the false information given by cassad and repeated by thesaker.
I only see 2 launchers unloaded that is 8 missiles, that is not enough to protect against a larger group of turkish fighterjets + turkish/nato revenge strikes, the moskva has a more limited range and will possibly need to leave the area to resupply, and turkish army could possibly start a hround incursion towards russian airbase therefore rusia needs to increase on the ground base security, both passive defenses and more armor.
Russia needs to think ahead and take more precautions also in the political area after isis is destroyed.
Most of the equipment between the 2 are essentially the same and they even use the very same missiles.. The S400 adds only the pantzir and stealth long range missiles which can hit targets up to like 30km.. From what I saw, Russia only brought more missiles and using the same setup they had before..
Pantsir is for base defense not for shooting down turkish fighterjets at the border far away from the base that pose a threat for russian bombers, the range of the moskva s-300 equivalent fort-m has not the same range like s-400 and has to leave the waters to resupply after some time, at that moment if you only have 8 missiles and of that 8 missiles only few are short range, your defense can be overpowered easily by deploying a higher number of attacking fighter jets and turkey has a lot of them
