This is the most important political statement by an American politician since Bobby Kennedy’s speech in Indianapolis following the death of Dr. king.

Yes, and it is a well-known “Liberal”/Progressive who is saying it.
      Absorb that fact.

Don’t forget that, next time you want to lambaste Liberals/progressives, or try
to label them as mere DNC sycophants.

Kucinich was always a champion of the most Progressive Democrats.

Nowadays, BOTH mainstream parties are enemies of Progressives, who are feeling isolated right now, especially since the feuding with the DNC-Dems has gotten extremely nasty of late.

I guess I’d have to label myself a “Jimmy Dore Progressive” at this point.

Dore rips a couple new anuses every day for DNC-Mainstream Dems on his show and youtube features. He’s harsh, but right on the money, IMO.

IMO, perhaps just Libertarian-Conservatives and (real, not phony DNC) Progressives are the ONLY ones worried about the recent developments with Russia, the Neocons and
      deep-state issues.

But hey, maybe we’ll end up in the same prison gulag together someday.

      Won’t that be a hoot.

Don’t play around — just become a socialist, which what what progressives become when they stop being a caterpillar and grow their wings. Of course you then have the problem of dealing with authoritarian socialists ( am anarcho-socialist), who miss the whole point of it, which is both political and economic democracy, and also all the demonizing propaganda about socialism.

There are hardly any real progressives in the US now anyway (and remember that Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive, which does not recommend it much), and liberals have always had fatal flaws, especially with foreign policy — they figure prominently in colonialism and war as well as capitalism — the latter emerges from it’s cocoon as fascists due to inherent flaws and contradictions.

          blue,

Socialism is an assault on private ownership rights. Period, end of story.

The State is not entitled ownership of something I created and built. The State is not entitled to the fruits of my labor. In fact, no one is but me. I do not have an obligation to right all wrongs of social justice just because I built a product or service company. The only obligation I have to to pay a “fair” amount of taxes and follow the laws and regulations of the countries I do business in. It is to my benefit to treat my employees well enough to attract and retain good ones to keep my company competitive.

I owe nothing more than that and the “State” or “People” deserve nothing more than that from me.

Socialism grows out of the fundamental nature of our species, which is to live in solidarity and mutual support.

Human race like every other organism on this planet is interconnected on the micro and macro level. You are what you are because of those around you and those who were here before you. Like it or not you are a member of the human family You survive because of those that surround you. Without them you would be nothing. Your response is that of a diehard capitalist who thinks that the wealth is deserved because of the deference’s in abilities. That is show white supremacist think about race and Hindus think about the caste system. The hierarchy that you believe in is a product of human imagination. You think what you have is just. You neglect the social, political and economic structure that favors you over your worker, you neglect the fact that you elect like minded people into government that pass laws that benefit you more than the man on the assembly line and of course you ignore the fact that you might have been born between a pair of rich legs and your worker between a pair of poor legs. Your imagined position in society is just that. Your ability to do what you do has been nurtured while I may have had the same abilities as you but somewhere along the way there was no one to nurture me so I have to live by different rules. So you see the economic game is rigged in your favor by legal restrictions nurtured since Adam Smith imagined “bull shit” called Capitalism.

Excellent video. Thank You Saker. The remarks about the deep state sabotaging Obama was very on point. Catherine Fitz, at the solari report, explained that today, the military is financed with drug trafficking, money laundering and endless quantitative easing from all those central banks around the world.

So the military does not answer to washington all that much anymore. They have off balance sheet accounting, extortion of other countries and when all else fail, they blow up the buildings where the incriminating papers are. This is what happened on 9-11 according to the solari report.

On a lighter note, mother nature is saying NO to gmo according to William Engdahl. I am happy for that, it will hamper the depopulation effort. :)

      Re: Engdahl article.

Monsanto has conceded that the use of their GMO crops, that allow/encourage much more use of already massively profitable Round-Up™, will only lead to efficient selection of RU-sensitive weeds.

In a rare example of corporate thinking beyond the next quarterly report, Monsanto has actually been planning for the RU-weeds. It has applied for, and received, permission to market a 2,4-D based commercial herbicide. (And presumably is making the matching 2,4-D resistant GMO crops.)

The 2,4-D is one-half of the herbicide cocktail developed in our excellent experiment in chemical terrorism in Viet Nam.

The war won’t stay cold for very much longer, Dennis. The maniacs have their pieces in place on the world board and just can’t wait to make the first moves on Moscow and St. Petersburg. They are going ahead as though Hillary were elected. Trump is just an obstacle they will soon remove.

Interesting comment by Kucinich: “what went on at Comet Pizza is a disgrace and not fit for public discussion”.

Familiarise yourselves with the investigative journalism of George Webb on YouTube starting at Day 110 for a summary of the vast network of facts that links war creation, coups, arms trading, oil and resources theft/capture, gold theft, drug trafficking, human trafficking, child trafficking and organ harvesting. Also “brownstone” operations to lure politicians, generals and other officials into pedophile rings and underage sex parties to blackmail them.

And how Wikileaks and the Podesta emails and the FBI/NYPD possessed Clinton- Abedin-Weiner emails link to this.

    https://m.youtube.com/user/georgwebb

    • Anonymous on February 15, 2017  ·  at 12:27 am EST/EDT

I believe he was talking about this phony slander being a disgrace, and the repeating the allegations were not fit for TV, not that he thinks it was real. And he was saying that Flynn promoting that fraud was the problem. Not the pizza place. My take of what he was saying…

      • Makes me weep on February 15, 2017  ·  at 2:29 am EST/EDT

You could take his comment either way, but if you listen closely he could’ve been much more clear if he had meant it the way you interpret it. The fact his comment was ambiguous suggests he was going as far as he could to support the conspiracy theory without being labelled for doing so.

I highly recommend spending time watching George Webb on YouTube for further illuminating aspects of this. Webb numbers the days of his investigation from the public disappearance of Eric Braverman former CEO of the Clinton Foundation after being named in the Podesta emails as a “mole” leaking information. However Braverman seems to have reappeared recently and Webb’s investigative reporting has moved on to give a wide panorama of the Imperial systems of mayhem and evil that readers of The Vineyard of the Saker rightly deplore.

          I fully agree with you.

If one is not brave enough to do some forensics into the vast criminal networks that have penetrated all Western power structures, one is likely to make a foo of oneself by shouting, “Trump betrayed us!” and similar uninformed nonsense.

You were betrayed decades ago, folks, and it is time you realize it. Sodom & Gomorrah are well and alive. Its spirit creeps out of every TV show, every pop songs, very breakfast cereal, every contract you sign.

@Anonymous. Your take was wrong. Go visit George Webb’s extensive collection of evidence that #Pizzagate is just the tip of an iceberg of fathomless greed and corruption. Hasn’t Zbig wanted a war with Russia since the day he drove them out of Afghanistan so that the USA could control the billions in drug money for the Deep State’s Black Budget made there?

  7. Carmel by the Sea on February 14, 2017  ·  at 10:01 pm EST/EDT

    Agree with Kucinich 100%.
IMO….One does not have to wonder far to know, the Zionist forces are behind all this chaos.

Now, having said that, Trump does not possess the spiritual fortitude that God gave Putin.
We are in the middle of a spiritual war between Good & Evil. And said Evil is very strong and determined. Those behind these strifes, violence, arrogance, pride, riots, and uncontrolled lust for war with Christian Orthodox Russia are very corrupted souls. I have said here many a time, that this is a dark and ancient hatred. Russia, being Orthodox Christian, is the #1 enemy of all the nations, of Satan himself.
He ( Satan) has taken over the Western nations and try as he might he is insanely furious because he cannot conquer Christian Russia. Christian Russia will not bend her knees to him and he is beside himself in impotent rage.

It is my belief nothing can save Western nations unless they turn to God. And this, sadly, is not probable. Europe is atheist and Americans have all types of ” flavors” they call ‘Christianity’.
Therefore, the only thing left to us, is to pray for Russia and Putin. Pray for them to continue being victorious in Jesus Christ the Lord.

We in the West are doomed, Russians are not.
Russia is literally the last bastion in the planet of Christianity. They are OUR last Christian bethren on Earth.

God be with you Russia. And pray that our end, whatever it might be, comes swiftly and not painful.

    Regards,
    Carmel by the Sea

Important interview, needs to go viral. Kucinich was one of the people who went with Tulsi Gabbard to Syria last month, btw.

  10. Circe on February 15, 2017  ·  at 4:00 am EST/EDT

Kucinich is giving Trump too much benefit of the doubt. Trump is corrupt; and doesn’t deserve Kucinich’s concern. Trump would never return the favor. Look what he did to Christie.

The important part of Kucinich’s warning is that American democracy has been hi-jacked by the deep state that owns both parties, and they have a grip on power, they call policy, what they want goes, and they will not release their grip, and will use all manner of subversion to ensure they continue to rule. Need I remind everyone that Trump threw Flynn under the bus? And he’ll throw anyone else under the bus that is outed by the press and can damage him by association.

In my opinion, the leaks are not a threat; the threat is the deception that is happening. Leaks are the only access we have to the truth and insight into the shady dealings and lies of whatever side is in power. There’s more here than we know. The leakers should not be punished or discredited. I want the leakers to do their job whichever President is in power and ensure we’re not in the dark; because this is a two-party monopoly that can not be trusted no matter who’s in power.

Now, I for one, am not going to miss Flynn one iota. Flynn was a raging Islamophobe, and let out of his cage by this Administration, he would have marshaled the troops to attack Iran. He was the rabid dog Trump was holding on a leash to release and attack Iran at any given moment. Flynn was a neocon on everything, except Russia. Flynn wanted Obama to support the Syrian opposition early on; therefore, creating the same outcome as Libya. I’m glad he’s out, despite his Russia policy.

I never trusted Trump from day one. The only benefit with Trump is that unwittingly the corrupt structure created by the deep state might be exposed and when it is, it is up to people to rise up and fight for a clean democracy.

Trump is dirty. Trump is corrupt and he’ll turn coat on anyone to keep the Presidency. Trump is Zionist. Trump cares about Trump. Trump takes care of Trump. Trump exploited the ignorance of the simpletons in rural America indulging false hopes. Trump will take care of his Wall Streets billionaire pals, the MIC and Zionists.

The deep-state has something on Trump, therefore he is their man and Flynn is Trump’s fall guy. Trump is malleable through his own corruption; therefore morally weak and that’s what the deep state likes. Trump has allegiance to whomever gives him power in spite of his inexperience in foreign policy. Yes, I’m glad Trump won and Hillary didn’t, but only because I knew at the time that the Presidency would become his demise and hopefully lead to the demise of the deep state. That wouldn’t have happened with Hillary. He was their man all along, but they never expected that as Trump is exposed for the fraud he is and gets more and more in over his head; the deep state becomes vulnerable. We’ll see how this plays out, but so far it’s going according to how I predicted it would.

    • Judy Whitehead on February 15, 2017  ·  at 11:15 pm EST/EDT

I agree with Kucinich. I dislike Trump’s policies internally a great deal for his gender politics and his travel ban. But the issue here is the office of the president and whether or not the ‘deep state’ or the elected executive runs the show. The American people have elected Trump, it is illegal and immoral to try to depose him through ‘fake intelligence’ leaked to the press. Apparently one official tweeted that ‘We are going nuclear. Trump will end his days in jail.’ This is like a 3rd world despotism, it’s horrible and these deep state operatives must be stopped if there is to be any peace in the world. They are hell bent on forcing American hegemony everywhere with tremendous cost in human lives–just look at Libya, Iraq and Syria. I think Flynn was knee-capped because his policies on Russia and Syria were different than the neocons. His DIA report in Syria concluded that continued American support for ‘rebels’ would end up with ISIS and/or al Nusra in power in Damascus. A very prescient report in 2012, until Russia intervened in Syria. I’m glad that Kucinich mentioned that Obama’s attempt to work with the Russians in Syria was betrayed by the Pentagon last November. Who is the greatest danger? The neocons or Trump? I’d say the neocons; they must be stopped if humanity is to have any future at all.

Ex-Security Advisor Flynn Victim of ‘Political Assassination’ – US Congressman

    https://sputniknews.com/us/201702151050711429-flynn-steve-king/

“General Flynn has been subject to a political assassination here, regardless of what he did or didn’t say to President Trump or Vice President [Mike] Pence,” King stated on CNN’s New Day.

King said that the people who leaked information about Flynn’s calls with Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergei Kislyak should have gone directly to Trump or Pence, instead of US media outlets.”

House Intelligence Committee wants to probe leaks that led to Flynn’s resignation

    https://www.rt.com/usa/377428-house-flynn-leak-investigation/

“The House Intelligence Committee wants a probe into the leaks of phone talks between Michael Flynn and the Russian ambassador, asking why a US national security adviser was recorded by the FBI and why press was briefed ahead of the White House.

“I want to hear from the FBI as to how this got out,” Devin Nunes, the California Republican who heads the committee, told reporters on Tuesday, as reported by CNN. “We don’t even know if this is true. We just know this from press reports.”

Later in the day, he said the FBI must explain the situation surrounding Flynn, “and they better have a good answer,” as cited by the Washington Post. “The big problem I see here is that you have an American citizen who had his phone calls recorded.”

According to the newspaper, Nunes was outraged that the recordings have been leaked, citing a complex procedure of intercepting communications involving US nationals citizens and then “unmasking” it for intelligence purposes.”

  14. No More Neos on February 15, 2017  ·  at 4:10 pm EST/EDT

“The dilemma facing the United States… is encapsulated in the differing perspectives of two former leading exponents of geopolitical strategy, Henry Kissinger and Zbigniew Brzezinski.

In a lecture given in 2016, Kissinger said that the “long-term interests of both countries (US and Russia) calls for a world that transforms the contemporary turbulence and flux into a new equilibrium which is increasingly multi-polar and globalized. Russia should be seen as an essential element of any global equilibrium, not primarily as a threat to the United States.”

The “erosion of US military-technical advantages” by contrast alarms Brzezinski. Such erosion spells the end of America’s global rule. To Brzezinski, that is highly undesirable, as the result, he argues, would “most probably” be “global chaos.”

To understand that conceptual framework that led to the US led TPP and TTIP one has to go back to 1904. In that year, the Director of the London School of Economics, Sir Halford Mackinder gave a lengthy presentation to the Royal Geographical Society. In that seminal lecture Mackinder set out the framework of the future world.

At its centre was a unitary landmass that he described as the “world island.” The “heartland” of that land mass was, in Mackinder’s terminology, ‘Europe-Asia’, what we would nowadays call Eurasia. Who rules the heartland, he argued, rules the world island, and who commands the world island commands the world.

Other land masses, including Australia and the United States, were relegated to the status of “outlying islands.”

It has taken a century, but that vision is now being turned into reality. During that intervening century there were two great wars that had a devastating impact on Russia and China; colonial exploitation; and the ruthless pursuit of political, economic and military advantage. With the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 there was, for a relatively brief period, a sole superpower, the United States.

That the United States intended to retain its dominance was made abundantly clear in the 2000 Department of Defence (US) strategy paper, Joint Vision 2020. That document described the strategic objective as “full spectrum dominance”, by which it meant control of land, sea, air, space and cyber space to the exclusion of all others.

Peter Dale Scott described that objective as “arguably insane” but it has underpinned US foreign policy for that last several decades. By way of dramatic contrast, the text of China’s policies on Asia and the Pacific’s security cooperation released on 11 January 2017 represents the antithetical approach to geopolitical relations.

It was a necessary corollary of the full spectrum dominance strategy that the rise of any competing power(s) had to be opposed by all possible means. This has resulted in the bombing of recalcitrant countries; regime change often involving assassinations; invasions and occupations of countries; and economic dominance strategies that manifested themselves in agreements such as the TPP and the TTIP.

Kissinger and Brzezinski differ in their proposed solutions. Whereas Kissinger sees an alliance with Russia as advantageous, Brzezinski would prefer siding with China. Both men therefore effectively argue for a divide and rule strategy, with the desired end result being the retention of US global dominance, albeit tempered by the necessity of co-operation with one or other of the world’s global superpowers.

That ambition does not equate with the geopolitical realities of which the reemergence of China and the enormous potential of the OBOR and its associated economic and financial strategies to fundamentally reorder the geopolitical structure as foreseen by Mackinder more than 100 years ago.”

    http://journal-neo.org/2017/02/10/one-belt-one-road-a-new-geopolitical-paradigm/

Now that Trump has done an about face toward co-operations with China, we see Brzezinski’s vision immediately moving forward.
