Hopefully in the near future all the world’s countries will be linked peacefully together. I am sure that this is what the Russian and Chinese leaders want.
…and in Madril the newly elected Mayor, Manuela Carmena, vows to fullfil campaign promise: change the names of over 150 streets, squares and public places today named after Dictator Franco´s protegés and allies. includes consultation to local residents and la Pasionaria Ibarruri is the first candidate.
Adelante, go ahead, Manuela!
The picture is wishful thinking. What in the h*** do you not understand in Tsipras repeating day in and day out that he wants to stay in the E.U. and the euro?
The war on Russia continues: while everybody was focused on a referendum that fundamentally does not change anything (they were voting on a deal that had been scrapped for crying out loud), they crushed oil by nearly 8% today. EIGHT PERCENT!
Don’t worry about oil too much. The current price of oil is artificially low thanks to the persistent lies of the EIA. The EIA knows full well that the American “shale revolution” will go up in smoke as soon as the hot money flowing into that sector dries up, something that will definitely happen within the next 12 months or so. So they are at least pretending that their production is still booming (it is in fact falling) so that they can put some pressure on the Russian and Iranian economies for a few months longer. This policy has a definite expiration date.
(I wonder if Putin is going to invite him to ride a couple of wild brown bears without their shirts on. I heard that going without shirts is all the rage now among brown bears since Putin came to office. They all want to be like him.)
I’m waiting to see what will develop with Greece and Russia — could be very interesting. I’ll be Tsipras is getting some advice as far as handling color revolutions and such.
Lovely. However, that very cute bear cub surely isn’t Tsipras; no way. Ironically, a Greece under the rule of its homegrown, obnoxious Führer Nikos Michailoliakos of Golden Dawn would be far more unreliable and dangerous to Western imperialism than a tepid Left Social Democratic government, especially since in Greece — just like in the West generally — the fascists are becoming more and more hateful of the Zionazi NWO. Moreover, they don’t give a hoot about bourgeois respectability which is absolutely sacrosanct to Social Democracy. Consequently, Golden Dawn — just like the KKE — has no qualms about Greece turning to Russia/BRICS to be pulled out of the vile, stinking swamp. By contrast, Syriza as any other Social Democratic outfit cannot and will not break with Western imperialism. Never ever.
I do agree though that it might well turn out that even Tsipras and Syriza could prove too much for Western imperialism, given the ongoing global power shift and overall neoliberal decay. If so, Greece will most likely be regime changed not by means of colour revolution but by NATO outright.
Re that future, I would like to ask a question. It’s obvious to everybody now that the near future of the RF (and its world version) is connected to VVP being in power; and if I’m not mistaken I believe Saker mentioned Shoigu and Rogozin as possible replacements (or something like that) when the time will come.
But what will happen, say, after 30-50 years, when those generations will be no more ? Does Russian youth of the present have the same qualities to enable it to stand up to the Empire ? Because I think the Empire will still be there.
Pepe today on this “extended” (by 7 days as announced, to tomorrow) P5+1 IRAN deal:
Iran nuke deal — what’s behind the new Vienna deadline: Escobar
By Pepe Escobar on July 6, 2015 in AT Top Writers, Empire of Chaos, Middle East, Pepe Escobar
VIENNA – The decision mechanism at the UN Security Council (UNSC) is the main sticking point preventing a nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1 being reached this Tuesday, a top Iranian official told Asia Times.
This is directly related to “the credibility of the UNSC at stake,” after “so many imposed resolutions” considered as unjust and illegal by Tehran.
Iranian diplomats insist on a “fundamental shift” at the UNSC; “The Iranian file should not have been sent to the UNSC in the first place,” says another official. And here Iranian diplomats open a complex discussion on two fronts; the politicization of the IAEA, and the UNSC being used to arbitrate on an eminently technical dossier.

The Sri Lankan government has cleared one more Chinese project – the expressway linking the southern port city of Hambantota with Matara, which will be the second phase of the previous Chinese-funded project that connects Matara with Colombo. This was one of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s pet projects – connecting his hometown with the capital.
It seems to me that trying to block progress in other countries out of spite is the wrong way to go.Coming up with your own ideas to help poor countries improve their economies.Or joining with China in join projects along those lines (that gives you half the say) is a much smarter idea.
Not for the Anglo /Zionist psychopaths, they want to own everything and everyone it doesn’t matter what price, but they are going to be our slaves forever. This is nothing just a pure parasitic thinking and nothing else.

There was a good article on Ft Russ on the “benefits” Ukraine has experienced from listening to the EU about their economy. The Greeks can look at Ukraine as an example they can expect:
well, I don’t even like to give that non-soul woman merkel even that much credit…and I hope that your cartoon is not true…but I hope the little bear cartoon is true.
François Asselineau of the French UPR party, who is fiercely anti-American and anti-E.U. and very pro-Russia, has maintained for months that Syriza and Tsipras are agents of the empire.
In his latest column, he shows this whole referendum thing is a very well orchestrated sham:
Google translation of the French, one can read the original French at the link.
The mask falls: Greek Prime Minister Tsipras is a national alliance with all Greek-European parties to achieve an agreement soon with the EU and IMF.
After the electoral victory of the No to its deceptive referendum (which offered the choice between staying in the euro without renegotiations and … stay in the euro with a semblance of renegotiations), Alexis Tsipras landed in unifying the nation .
The union of Syriza with the UMP and the PS premises
Greek Prime Minister invited the leaders of the main opposition parties, together for the first time to meet with him to develop a national economic alliance to conclude as soon as an agreement with the European Union and the IMF.
-European parties which, most called to vote Yes in the referendum the day before, rushed – the Greek equivalent of the UMP and PS ahead – to kindly lend their support to the Prime Minister “ultra-left”.
What think of this sudden unanimity all those who voted No last? ….
The meeting was organized in the most solemn way possible, to the presidency of the Republic, under the watchful eye of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
As shown in the photo shown here, the meeting was held in a very cordial atmosphere: it shows, basically, Prokopis Pavlopoulos President, with Alexis Tsipras left and Vaguélis Méimerakis, interim president of the right New Democracy party to the right. Vaguélis Méimerakis was appointed head of the equivalent of the UMP (LR), replacing the party chairman, former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, who resigned after the referendum results.
As we see it on the picture, the three men appear almost hilarious smile.
This highly politician scene led – after six hours of meeting – on a joint text signed by:
1) – the conservative New Democracy (equivalent of the UMP-LR)
2) – the socialists of Pasok (the equivalent of PS)
3) – the centrist party To Potami (equivalent MoDem)
4) – the sovereigntist right Independent Greeks (ANEL), Syriza coalition partner, (equivalent of the FN or DLF)
5) – and even the Communists KKE!
All this beautiful world has displayed a united front on negotiations between Tsipras government and the country’s creditors, defining the objectives of the agreement sought to creditors of the country (EU and IMF).
With unanimity, all these parties have therefore signed a text which states:
a) – that “the restoration of the banking system liquidity through an agreement with the ECB’s priority number one.”
b) – that “the broad rejection of proposals creditor country Sunday in the referendum should not be interpreted as a break message to Europe”.
c) – the referendum gave “a mandate to continue and intensify efforts to achieve a socially just and economically viable agreement.”
Following this historic meeting, the head of the right of sovereignty “Independent Greeks” (ANEL), Panos Kammenos, also present Greek defense minister, drove home the point to reporters: “There no other possible path to reach an agreement with the EU and IMF. ”
The decoy in full light
The lure Syriza denounces the UPR since Alexis Tsipras took office and is now emerging into the light, according to an implacable chronology worthy of a Greek tragedy.
According choreography always conducted smoothly, we discover that all the elements are put in place to reach an agreement. It has indeed learned:
a) – the ECB miraculously just decided to keep emergency loans (ELA) to Greek banks at current levels,
b) – Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel are to “leave the door open for talks” while claiming to Alexis Tsipras of “specific proposals”
c) – Josh Earnest, spokesman for the White House, called on Greece and the EU to find a compromise. The US government considers “it is in the interest of both parties to find a solution that allows Greece to remain in the euro zone.”
d) – Finally, coincidentally, that the Director General of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, has miraculously announced that “the IMF is ready to help Greece if it makes the request”!
That’s a singularly accommodating position of the IMF, based in Washington, especially if one has in mind that Greece has not paid his dues to the IMF there is a week last June 30 …
Conclusion
In conclusion, forgive me emphasize that all the analysis of the UPR are again validated 100%.
Whether on Syriza lure, the lies of the “Other Europe” or the constant involvement of Washington covertly in the alleged “European construction”, the events only confirm that the UPR is reliable and said the truth, never to be distracted from his analyzes by the omnipresence of media propaganda.
As already said the Greek poet Euripides in the fifth century BC: “Time reveals all: it is a chatterbox who speaks without being questioned. “
I think that Tsipras knows full well that (or has at least acknowledged the possibility) that the Eurocrats will place all the chips down and attempt to totally annihilate the Greek economy so as to effect regime change.
Once that scenario starts playing out, which is a distinct possibility as things now stand, then he will have to prepare his powerful support base for a full-blown default and return to the drachma.
This is the nuclear option for Tsipras, who ideally seeks a serious restructuring (read: haircut) of the Greek debt.
Saker, the picture is so nice!
But do you think such impoliteness can go without punishment….I am afraid something big is going to happen in Greece. And the military, have they decided on which side they are?
After the referendum: The way forward for Greek workers
7 July 2015

In the capitals of the major European powers and in the United States, a debate is underway over how to respond. Germany has taken the lead in heaping contempt on the rejection of its demands by the Greek working class, responding to Sunday’s vote with more denunciations, threats and ultimatums.
German Social Democrat and Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel said that by holding the referendum, Syriza had “torn down the last bridges across which Europe and Greece could move towards a compromise.” If Greece wanted to stay in the euro zone, he declared, it had to present proposals “that go beyond those presented so far.”
Later on Monday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel held a joint press conference with French President François Hollande during which she stressed, “As things stand, there is no basis for talks on a new programme under the European Stability Mechanism.” She added that previous offers to Greece had been “generous.”
