The political conflict over the refugee issue intensifies.
There is a growing schism in German society and even within political parties.
Local politicians who by the nature of their positions are closer to the concerns of the citizenry are beginning to defect from the dictate of the party leaders.

CDU: Merkel faced a lot of criticism at the CDU “Future-Conference” near Leipzig.

- Michael Weickert, CDU member of parliament in Leipzig: “Many here say, the Merkel-CDU is no longer our CDU.”
- “If we do not stop this process, Germany will slip into a national catastrophe.”
- Manfred Kolbe, member of the Bundestag until 2013: “More and more people tell me: This is no longer my chancellor.” [source]
The most popular candidate for mayor in Sunday’s election in Cologne has been the victim of an allegedly politically motivated terror attack on Saturday morning.[source]
She was stabbed in the neck and severely injured by a man reportedly saying:
“I am the Messiah. I’m doing it for you all.”
The attacker allegedly described his actions as some form of self-defense to combat the destruction of Germany by the political elites through an uncontrolled influx of migrants.
Reker won the election on Sunday but it is unclear when she will recover to take over her duties. I think it is worth noting that the participation in the vote was under 50% despite the media hype surrounding the attack.
Democracy is basically dead in Germany. No one believes in it anymore as a force to change things for the better.
More and more people realize that they are not represented and just quit.
Often when I try to talk to people about some political topic that interests me they tell me outright:
“I am sorry, I do not have an opinion. I quit reading the news or thinking about political issues. It depresses me too much and it doesn’t change anything anyway.”
During the last campaign for the last vote for the Bundestag I made it a habit to ask people who they would vote for.
People would usually say “Merkel” or name one of the parties. But among those that named a party and not Merkel, it was hardly ever CDU. The CDU campaign was all about Merkel. And it worked.
When I asked people why they would vote for Merkel, they usually said they liked her politics. But when asked for just one specific policy or law as an example of her work, they usually could not think of anything at all.
The parties still go through the routine of formulating programs and campaigning on them, and many voters still go through the routine of reading news papers, attending political meetings and making crosses on ballots. But even those voters are sometimes sure that they support some specific candidate, but cannot really say for sure why…
How is Democracy supposed to work like that?
Many Germans are totally disgusted by the German political, so called, “elite”. And it is not hard to see why. They are treated by their “representatives” like school children by an arrogant teacher. Video. (Thanks to Scott for the link)
Here we have a German politician telling his electorate, that they can always leave their country, if they have a problem with the government’s decisions. How very democratic.
The electorate is not too happy as you can hear.
In this context I think it needs to be stressed again that the actions of the German government with regard to the migration crisis are not even in line with German constitutional law unless many bordering nations leave the EU and were declared as “non-safe 3rd party states”.

Merkel has received an open letter, initially sent by 34 CDU members, who mainly hold office in the local or municipal political system. They harshly criticize Merkel.
Some notable excerpts:
- Our EU-partners Greece, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia and Austria guide the refugees to Germany in violation of European law.
- The current policy of “open borders” does not conform with European or German law, nor is it in line with the CDU’s political program.
- A large part of our party’s members and voters does not feel represented by the policies of the CDU lead federal government.[source]
The letter has since been signed by a total of 126 CDU politicians. Most of it is disgusting politician gibberish, but it does certainly signal some pressure on the “political-bottom-feeders” to change their tune as it becomes uncomfortable to feed their voters lies that conflict too much with what they perceive. And it does state some inconvenient truths.

I think the problem some Germans face already and many more will face soon, is that the keeping up the doublethink becomes harder.
The world they live in, perceive and can reason about, and the fake world constructed in their minds, through exposure to lifelong propaganda, peer-pressure, misinformation and, beneath the surface, self-loathing and fear, mismatch more and more as current events unfold.
Consciousness is a gift but can also be a burden.
Especially if you realize that you are waking up to a terribly frightening situation, in which you are an insignificant pawn in a game of ruthless psychopaths, shoved around by agents of these psychopaths.
The agents pretend to care only for you and tell you that they take their authority directly from you, the sovereign, while they turn your pockets over once more, to see if there might be something left. None of their actions back up their claims, but there is no one to turn to, no one who could keep these people in check.
Your government allows wars of aggression to be supported from your people’s territory by foreign occupiers.
Your government steers your people head on into a conflict with the only internationally and regionally important actor that might itself have an honest interest in your independence.
Your government is OK with its people being spied on by the foreign occupiers, it actually helps with that.
Your government is itself spied on by the occupiers, but they could not do anything about it, even if they wanted to, because they are just corrupt puppets. So they have the media announce that they protest the spying and then… do…. nothing.
So one can wake up to that reality or keep on dreaming the dream.
Conveniently you do not even have to dream up something for yourself. The dream is available nonstop 24/7 on all mayor channels, in all the newspapers, you just have to submit and enjoy the soma.
I think the German people is being held hostage and suffers from a severe case of collective Stockholm-Syndrome and an almost broken backbone.

I used to laught this argument off. Then the Ukrainian situation was created and escalated; Merkel systematically took decisions against the country’s best interest. This pushed me to have a close look at the BRiD argument and so I indeed came to the conclusion that the official story is full of loopholes, contradictions and other inconsistencies that make the case for the BRiD thesis look good.

I guess this is sort of like the ‘enemy clause’ in the UN charter referring to Germany and Japan, eh? Personally, I think the US should have pulled out of, not just Germany, but all of NATO after the Warsaw Pact disbanded. German should go back to being a regular country not under occupation. I found an interview at ARD of the editor of the “Garrison and Commandant Orders”. His name is Norbert Frei and he is quite a respected historian in Germany.
He says that the documents show that Auschwitz was indeed a “Work camp”, but this does not rule out that it was at some point turned into an extermination camp…

You mean building a gas chamber after the end of the war and changing the figure of under 2 mil dead is not enough to make it an extermination camp? Although I would not think any lower of the Nazi’s no matter what. They were cruel inhumane people like what the US is becoming. The 50 mil dead in Europe is a number that is monstrous no matter what.. Killing 2/3rd’s of captured soviet POW’s is enough but then again 2/3rds of german POW’s also died.. Please, people, anyone who wants to know more about Auschwitz, there are plenty of sources. Probably the best for easy accessibility of an enormous volume of relevant data is Auschwitz Chronicle, by Danuta Czech. Day-by-day record of everything that occurred in AW, as written in numerous camp logs, with many photos. Probably virtually all of the known photos taken inside AW. And plenty of day-today data on arrivals, numbers given, selections carried out, numbers of prisoners sent to work in teh Bunawerk, prisoners gased in four crematoria. Also some good background intros that hint of the tensions between the Final Solution and the need for labor in the Bunawerk. This book is purely descriptive. if there is no written record, it is not in this book.

Disclosure: I was the English-language editor of what in German is called Auschwitz Kalendarium. Always bear in mind, too, that teh whole KZ system was under the SS, not the German State. It had a dual function, as an economic entity carrying out contracts for the state (manufacturing plus plunder of, say, cash, jewelry, and gold fillings) and also carrying out Final solution. “Auschwitz was originally opened, in 1940, for Poles. In 1942, it became a tool for the mass gassing of Jews, who were not even registered upon arrival. Among those actually incarcerated in Auschwitz I, in July 1944, there were 8,200 Jews and 3,800 Poles. (p. 664). According to the camp resistance, there were incarcerated, in several of the main camps in August 1944, a total of 18,600 Poles and 23,000 Jews. (p. 693).
Holocaust deniers have argued that it would’ve been impossible to mass-gas people without the perpetrators also getting killed once they vented the large gas chambers. Ironic to this, some SS men did get mildly poisoned when they failed to fully observe the stated precautions of wearing gas masks, and getting no closer to the chambers than 16 yards [15 meters], depending upon the direction of the wind. (p. 215).
Holocaust-uniqueness proponents have made much of the fact that, unlike the vast majority of arriving Jews, most arriving Poles were not gassed. But so what? Most murdered Poles perished in locations different from that of Jews, and non-Jews in Auschwitz got to die other ways. French Jew Walter Laqueur writes [in a foreword–KS]: “While the Jews were systematically murdered, the survival chances of the other prisoners were somewhat better–but not much. Thus, for example, of a total of 13,000 Russian prisoners of war brought to Auschwitz, only 92 were alive when the camp was shut down.” (p. xvii). Multitudes of Polish children, arriving as part of the genocidal “Operation Zamosc”, were not sent to the gas chambers. They were killed by cardiac injections. (p. 336).
Why wasn’t gassing used more on Poles? The Germans’ motivates were tactical in nature. For instance, they were about to announce the impending gassing of some ill Jewish inmates when an argument arose between SS Garrison Doctor Wirths and Hermann Langbein. The relevant issues were: “1). There could be a panic in the camp, since the Polish prisoners could assume that their turn would come after the Jews. 2). Sick prisoners would avoid the prisoners’ infirmary in the future. 3). As a result, infectious diseases could spread and this would result in a decline in labor productivity.” (p. 574).
In fact, the Germans were working on mass sterilization methods for long-term genocide of groups such as Poles. (p. 65, 297). This heinous endeavor has over 30 mentions in this diary. The seriousness of this project can be gauged by the fact that 700 women were subject to chemical and surgical sterilization experiments (p. 810), and about 1,000 men and women were subject to X-ray sterilization experiments (p. 549, 616).
Some of those about to be put to death at Auschwitz were defiant, as in the case of this Polish woman (March 1944): “In the crematorium a young woman steps forward from among the condemned and says, facing the SS men, that all those present are clear about the fact that they are about to die in the famous Auschwitz gas chambers and burned in the crematorium…Today the entire world knows what is going on in Auschwitz, and for every person murdered here the Germans will have to pay dearly.” (p. 591).
Various historical tidbits are included in this diary. For instance, a secret Polish radio station reported that, just in Krakow during the period between October 1943 and February 1944, 1,004 Poles had been executed by the Germans for aiding Jews. (p. 620).
With the advance of the Red Army in winter 1944/1945, the Auschwitz complex was evacuated. Thousands of inmates, too sick to be moved, avoided a planned death because of the following: “The order to liquidate the sick prisoners in the Birkenau and Auschwitz camps is not carried out by SS Major Franz Xaver (sic) Kraus, the representative of SS Lieutenant Schmauser, for the liquidation division of the SD is threatened by encirclement by the approaching Red Army.” (p. 801).”

Katherine, I am with you. Even if the numbers murdered in Auschwitz are subject to some dispute, the killings of Jews in camps and by the Einsatzgruppen are indisputable. The number may have been somewhat inflated to achieve the magical six million, but denial of its reality just plays into the Zionazies’ hands, a bit like the old ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion’ does. The great horror of the Nazi Judeocide today is the evil manner in which the ‘Holocaust’ has been manipulated by the Zionazies to justify their crimes against humanity, the latest, one of the most bizarre and evil manifestations so far, being Satan-yahoo’s grotesque attribution of the Judeocide to the Palestinians. A very, very good book on life for a “normal” family in Germany before and during the Third Reich is “On Hitler’s Mountain: Overcoming the Legacy of a Nazi Childhood,” by Irmgard A. Hunt, born in Berchtesgaden in 1934. Highly intelligent, astute, and readable. Written in English; she is married to an American.
The pretexts for persecution and racism were not all the same. The German Reich needed money and the Jews and teh Jewish community had a lot of it. That also made them convenient targets of racial theories. At first, long before the Final Solutoin came along with the Wannsee Conference, the Reich wanted the money and assets, if the people would just leave. Things developed over the course of the thirties. Same as Israel now wants the Palestinians’ land. That makes them targets of racism. The racism is to some extent a pretext for the land grab. The Poles also of course had land that the Germans wanted for Lebensraum so it was convenient if they suddenly turned out to be Untermenschen. I am not aware of anything of value that the Gypsies had . . .

The thing with Haverbeck is that she is not simply reinterpreting historical facts, she is talking about new data that was given to Germany after the fall of the Soviet Union.
Your book could not have included this data as it was published in 1997, and the new data was made public in 2000.
It would be interesting to put this new stuff into historical perspective….It’s such a sensitive subject though and the legislation in some countries is not conducive to a free discussion.

Many people don’t understand how those camps worked.The nazis were very efficient (usually).And had the traditional German virtues of order and labor. The camps were in two parts (the ones classed as death camps).The people were brought in,and separated into “those useful and able to work”.And those “not useful or unable to work”.The second group were killed right then.The first group was put to work in factories built in or near the camps.As time went by those that became unable to work, or that became sick ,were culled from the first group and killed.That system was continued .Every trainload of people arriving was divided like that.So to call one of those camps either a “work camp”,or a “death camp” was both correct.They weren’t just one or the other.Those were the camps in Poland and maybe a couple in other places (in Estonia I believe).The ones in Germany itself (and in Western Europe) were setup as work and prison camps.While many people did die there,that was not there main purpose.Only those deliberately setup in “the East” had as the main purpose,death.The fact that the zionists benefit from the Holocaust.And that Israel is a barbarous apartheid state is not a reason to deny historical truth.Certainly the numbers were inflated for propaganda purposes (I figure that’s why).But the crime itself was real.We should never, because of other reasons doubt that.

I heard about the historian in question, and how she was arrested by the German police after a raid on her home. I was immediately alert to the extremism of this action – as if shutting her up was the priority. If she was talking nonsense, why raid her home and arrest her?
When US papers report a Bolshevik holocaust of 6 million Jews in Russia in 1939, you have to query how *exactly* the same number met *exactly* the same fate at the hands of Nazi Germans in Poland several years later.
Most of all, why is any critical examination of the historical record met with such a frenzy of lawfare, often resulting in imprisonment? Irving only used archival material – why not leave it to readers to accept or reject?
I didn’t read him as I uncritically accepted the official narrative too.
My only problem with the site – which is certainly eye-opening – is its obsession with ‘white purity’
Interestingly, many of the YouTube videos exposing the reality of the migration ‘crisis’ also include the same accusations of a plot to ‘dilute’ the ‘white’ race.
Its clear information – particularly archival – cannot be controlled in this day and age of the internet. The next best thing is discredit-by-association. That stops us – or tries to stop us – from evaluating the new information on its own merits.

alan, I only ever really noticed the Germans apologising, over and over again, to the Jews. Apologies to Roma, Soviets, Poles, Yugoslavs etc were few and far between. Then, at the first opportunity for revanchism, they actively aided the destruction of Yugoslavia, repaying their Croat, Slovene and Bosnian fascist allies for their wartime loyalty. The really big question is what.

I am baffled how “mainstream” European media is. I tried to peruse through some news websites to get a feel for this refugee crisis but all I got was MSM jargon that was just blatantly bad I don’t even know where to begin….

I also don’t understand Germany’s hesitation. If the US said it would take in 100,000 refugees then airlift them to the US until that quota is filled. Or dump them at US military installations and embassies inside the EU. Make it a huge PR stunt, an embarrassment. Europe is so tiny compared to America and Canada that it can literally use that argument “we’re overcrowded”.

Well, since you sort of asked.
There is a lot to be ashamed of.
The Germans have unleashed horrendous suffering on an unimaginable scale on their fellow human beings and themselves between 1914 and 1945.
Three million dead Germans in WWI, seven million dead Germans in WWII and almost 30 million dead Soviets in WWII alone.
For what?
German scientists and engineers have pioneered a lot of the military technology that dominated the 20th century, but Germany has won no war since the end of the nineteenth century.
The unified Germany has been extremely good at waging war, but very bad at choosing fights they could win.
Bismarck forged modern Germany, but he had no heir.
And his successors mistakenly believed that Germany’s power had made Bismarck’s policies possible.
While it was in fact Bismarck’s delicately balanced diplomacy, that made sure that the German military power could be employed as a surgeon’s scalpel, and not as a mad man’s baseball bat.
And now the biggest change in the pre-WWII and the past-WWII Germany is that Bismarck’s Prussia is gone. But no one even remembers.

With reference to the end of WWII and the unconditional capitulation:
I always thought the signing of “the unconditional capitulations” in 1945 was only concerning the german military, thus German Army, German Airforce and German Navy.
Now it comes out that the socalled “Liberators” France, Britain and USA took it all after 1945, I mean the whole country including its inhabitants. Russia left after the reunification of Middle Germany (DDR) with the rest of Germany.
I really can understand the Germans are really fed up with all their politicians are cooking for them in order of the colonial masters. Because the whole socalled German Government and the circus surrounding it, is all fake. A theater to keep the “pack” quiet and keep them enslaved.
My gutfeeling tells me that for the Germans two time in the last century external powers brought a tremendous suffering to them all. In my opinion they might not accept it a third time. And they will certainly not wait till 2099.
This time if they might react, they will act in self-defence, defending their culture, defending their livelyhood and especially THEIR OWN NATION GERMANY.
