Leaving out the facts that those territories are “disputed” between various states. China’s claims to those territories are certainly as valid as anyone else (more so in most cases).

As somebody who was in China himself I can say China is much too USA-friendly, the entire country is quite globalized which means americanized. The youth is in abundant cases uncritical or even positive towards USA, EU, Germany.
And: Always too open for mutual agreements and peace. Very different from what these USA hawks are claiming.
