I am theorising that the Report’s fixation on RT is to some how affiliate it with what is now termed “fake news” and to set the stage for Congress to conjure up some censorship legislation to keep RT from the US public initially, and then press US allies to follow suit in their jurisdictions.
They have been going after PRESS TV for years because Israel find its coverage unflattering.
If you read through the Report what the Intelligence Agencies are complaining about is that RT is allowing Americans to access a narrative outside of what the MSM feeds them.
If you have been following events, you’d realize that the :
Germans are now openly saying that they ‘fear’ Russian intervention in upcoming elections.
Europe is therefore already primed to keep the altetnative narrative that RT provides, away from the public.
By the way, RT’s version was the truth- and this is contributing to the awakening of its viewers and this is making them doubt the Gate Keepers and “question more”.
The demonization of Russia and RT is being done by Western elites because it helps them to justify the Status Quo which is being challanged by their electorates.

Well, at least one person who got to be aware of what I am claiming since already almost two years ago, I think I am not feeling so lonely in this any more….
I noticed, in a site where I was once a mod, that “they” were targeting anybody who argued quite well and, at the same time, with independent way of thinking, especially people with subtle or clearly stated leftist tendence.
From my point of view they do not want anybody in the moderation team who could defend the commenters from their arbitrariety when they decide to target someone. Then, I have noticed that they have also staff as commenters, and so, they target and harass commenters as a whole, mods and “staff commenters”, until they get ( or think they have got ) the targeted commenter out of its nerves. Then, as last resort, the targeted commenter can recur to the owner but, in front of his indiference, and after, sometimes, months or even years commenting/working in the site, some of the targeted finish, in the worst case, insulting him, or, in the best, reading him the list ( I mean taking a very sincere interchange ), with what they get, anyway, being definitely banned.
As I have observed for a time, the goal is discouraging all these commenters who were spreading good and independent ideas, especially related to “government of the people”, “democracy”, “social state”, “basic liberties”, “secularism”, and so on, and especially those who show any hint of passion for fighting or of being inaccesible to despondence. To this later kind of commenter may be they try even to menace it some way, or insult it, so as to getting it giving up. But, strange as could be, some continue commenting despite all this, you know, special cases of stubborness.
Another point is that they maintain always some commenters/mods who play the role of “good cop”, so as to get you confused, but if you observe a bit, you conclude that the discurse is the same. Then you can find some of the “staff commenters” in almost all the sites of the same line, what took me to think that most probably all these sites are directed by the same people.
When, in the end, they have almost erased all the good/interesting commenters, you could see that they even troll themselves, by publishing never ending comments of propaganda, especially in times when they do not desire any kind of dissent, as happened before and after the US elections.
Of course this is a program of those of always, those from home, CIA/Mossad/ MI6.
