Since the death of Vitaly Churkin I see more and more speculations that Russian diplomats are being killed (example here and here) This is exceedingly unlikely and I consider these speculations to be based on ignorance and a form of “clickbaiting”. Here is why:
- So four senior Russian diplomats have died in one month. Considering how many diplomats Russia has worldwide, this hardly a tsunami.
- They died in Ankara (murder), Athens (natural causes), New Delhi (disease) and New York (heart attack). There is no pattern, no modus operandi, no common link between these men and their deaths.
- During the Cold War the US and Soviets had an understanding that they would not attack each other’s personnel simply because any such attack would trigger an immediate retaliation which both sides wanted to avoid. There is absolutely nothing suggesting that this has changed.
- Killing diplomats is useless. They don’t really take decisions but their symbolic value is immense. Thus the benefit for murdering them is zero and the cost potentially a nuclear war.
- Russia is not the Palestinian Authority which had to ask for a French expertise to establish the real cause of death of Yassir Arafat. If anybody hard murdered Russian diplomats the Russians would inevitably find out who did it and why and the retaliation would be terrible (all, repeat, all the Takfiri Chechen leaders have by now been killed by the Russians, as have been the units who killed the Russian pilot in Syria as have been the key Takfiri leaders in Aleppo).
Coincidences do happen and not everything is the result of a conspiracy. In this case, there is exactly zero evidence of a plot by anybody to murder Russian diplomats and spreading rumors about that is unhelpful and distracting from the important issues.
The Saker
UPDATE: okay, I am not coming across, so let me try something different: call two authorities to my rescue. First, Carl Sagan who used to say that “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence“. In this case, the claim is absolutely extraordinary: the murder of a senior diplomat is basically an act of war. As for the evidence, at this time of writing it is exactly ZERO. Nothing. Ziltch. Nihil. My next expert authority is William of Occam who wrote “Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem” which meaning can be roughly rendered as “the simplest explanation is the best”. For example, while it is definitely *possible* that Russian diplomats have been murdered, it is far more likely that they simply died. Of course, I cannot prove a negative. But at this point in time I repeat that this line of speculation is based on absolutely nothing, that there is no evidence at all while the the claim is truly extraordinary. To simple speculate on the basis of a statistically irrelevant sample and arrive far reaching hypotheses is simply not “analysis”. At best, this is idle gossip. Frankly, I am kind of shocked and even disappointed that so many seem to miss the total lack of evidentiary support, nevermind any “proof”, for this hypothesis.
Nevertheless considering the flx that the world is in at this stage, it is at the very least inopportune.
@David
Inopportune is an understatement. Repeating what someone else said, how many ambassadors of other countries died in such a short time? None, or not that we know of.
Does it mean that Russian diplomats are in such a bad health and do not get medically tested?
Going back to Hollywood fiction, namely movie “International”, all is needed little prick and fast disappearing poison (4hrs in the movie). Which means the following: unless the body is examined immediately the murder can not be proven, hence natural death has to be claimed.
2016, a British newspaper that is no enemy of the CIA, and yet ran this headline:
Top secret CIA poison dart gun ‘gives targets deadly HEART ATTACKS and leaves no trace’
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/644439/CIA-heart-attack-gun-Mary-Embree-Frank-Church-William-Colby
That Senate hearing was in 1975. Do you think the CIA ever improved the dart system, in the last 42 years ?
The agreement that prevented petty, tit-for-tat murders during the Cold War is as defunct as the one between Crimea and The Ukraine.
The USA has been taken over by the neocons in the basement. They have no rules as their willingness to raze what is left of responsible governance in the USA shows.
I see no reason why their scorched earth policy does not apply to their entire sphere of influence.
Moreoeover, how many US Ambassadors have died at their posts in the same, or similar period of time?
Franz makes a very important and fundamental point, that all the former “rules” no longer apply. The only reason that there ever are rules, is the presence of penalties for breaking them, and those penalties are mostly long gone.
One could attach a second list of recently assassinated people:
Batman (Alexander Bednov) on 1 January, 2015,
Alexi Mozgovoy on 23 May, 2015,
Motorola (Arsen Pavlov) on 16 October 2016,
LPR Colonel Anashchenko on 4 February, 2017,
Givi (Mikhail Tolstykh) on 9 February, 2017.
Kiev and the SBU wanted these important commanders dead and they didn’t die in battle. The CIA has a tight-enough grip on the SBU. The CIA has a CIA-only floor at the main SBU building. All these murders probably required CIA approval, except perhaps Mozgovoy who was trying to suppress drug-dealing. So we can take CIA green-lighting of the DNR/LPR murders as a working hypothesis, and go one step further. Since these murders worked out so very well, the CIA or its fellow spooks, might have decided to escalate and start bumping off Russian ambassadors.
To me, the murder of the ambassador to Turkey can be pinned with certainty on the Saudis, the chief sponsor of ISIS, but the CIA stands behind both the Saudis and ISIS. Just ask the Iraqis who have seen the airdrop of vitally-needed munitions to ISIS in recent weeks. So ISIS and the Saudis act as “cut-outs”, hiding deeper hands. The CIA recently awarded a medal to a Saudi intelligence officer for secret heroic deeds. That’s very unusual. Was this medal related to the murder of the Russian in Turkey ?
It’s worth noting that each of these four dead ambassadors were in very strategic posts, and at least two of them had built longstanding personal relationships that will take 10 years to re-establish, assuming their successors have the same outstanding personal qualities.
1. The UN, obviously, is the most important one post.
2. Turkey, where Erdogan is still making U-turns after the US tried to kill him in a coup and failed.
We should not ignore the two attempts to kill Erdogan in the US-backed coup, 16 July, 2016.
3. India, a major customer and co-producer of Russian military aircraft, and where the Russian ambassador’s personal relationships mattered greatly.
4. Greece, where their long-term economic crisis may be reaching a final stage of hard decisions.
Looking for statistical evidence, it would be wrong to consider the pool of ALL Russian ambassadors. No, you need to rank the ambassadors in order of how badly the CIA would want them killed. That reduces the statistical pool to approximately 20 ambassadors and now the deaths look more suspicious. Even if you were to remove the case of the ambassador to Turkey and are left with 3 suspect deaths, then it’s something like 3 deaths out of 20, and at least 2 if not 3 were “heart attacks.” Statistics can’t reach even 2-sigma of reliability, but it certainly does smell fishy.
Just imagine if what happened to Churkin had happened to the US ambassador in Moscow. The lying Western press would scream and say it’s a cause for war. The Lügenpresse would do that, wouldn’t they ?
Putin is said to have been very upset about the death of Churkin in New York. But this could have been a second attempt, if not a n’th attempt, to scare Putin. His official driver was killed in a head-on car crash on 6 September, 2016. You can see the crash from two different cameras at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIyN4QS6NQ8 I think there was a jihadi suicide driver, but see for yourself. The video only runs 1.5 minutes. it would be surprising if the CIA and the Saudis who are being defeated on many fronts, would not try to personally intimidate the Russian leader. It’s a logical follow-up to the incredible demonization of Putin in 2014 by the mass media. The demonization failed completely, so now it’s time for stronger tactics.
A brief look at the CIA and the Deep State and the fact that there are No Limits.
The CIA almost certainly killed the serving president, John Kennedy, in 1963 because he fired the DIA Director, Allen Dulles, for insubordination. Google “Operartion Northwoods” and you well see the CIA never had any limits on what it would do. Allen Dulles had the motive, the means and the experience. He should have been the #1 suspect, Instead, Dulles was put on the Warren Commission to “investigate” the murder, and the appointments were made by Johnson who got the top job when JFK was killed. One hand washing the other. Look at the biographies of the 7 men on the Warren Commission, and you will see that there were only 3 real men on the commission: Dulles and his long-time friend and customer of the spooks, McCloy, and Warren. The other 4 were cardboard-cutout politicians, picked for being real nobodies, only “there” to get photographed. Sorry if this is a little off-topic; I think it’s not very well known, despite Oliver Stone’s 1991 movie, “JFK”.
Finally, I would note that even when a hypothesis has absolutely no proof, the idea may still be worth considering. A mere idea can be heuristic. Serious scientists often pursue hypotheses in search of as-yet unseen evidence. And if real evidence does turn up, nurturing a hypothesis will have moved things things along fast, when and if real evidence does arise.
My hypothesis is that the CIA and the Saudis are getting desperate and these concealed murders are a measure of that desperation. Just a hypothesis, but, as they say, a working hypothesis.
President Kennedy was murdered Op. 40 comes up if you look for it. Noteworthy also is George H.W. Bush was photographed standing outside the Book Depository that day…and was arrested also as soon as President Kennedy was murdered.
There is also a film clip (NOT the Zapruder clip) which clearly shows the driver of the Presidential Limousine shooting President Kennedy over his right shoulder with a handgun.
And though you say that “killing diplomats is useless”, I respectfully disagree. Diplomats are born, not made, as the sorry state of Diplomacy in the world, and especially in the Anglo-Zionist Empire amply demonstrates. The schools may still functioning but the product is highly questionable. If, until recently, the USSD used the travelogue of the survivor of the French Terror, the charmant Marquis de Custine as a serious text, I rest my case.
Gone are the days when the Ambassador to the Russian court, from Austria I believe, could say when asked to gather intelligence for his state: “I am not a spy”.
No. Churkin certainly, and I suspect the others are trained, seasoned, talented, born diplomats and therefore they were indispensible.
These, now unquestionably dead, diplomats were unarguably key figures in: Greece, a state in turmoil; Turkey, the same, only more so; The UN, a cesspool with the execrable Bolton, succeeded by the disgusting Powers and now this deplorable creature Haley; and so on.
It is true that in a normal war, killing diplomats is just rude. It does not accomplish any significant military objective. What threatens the zionist system though is not conventional warfare. The real threat are intelligent people. Pacifists, activists, honest journalists. Those must me eliminated and it has to look like an accident. Killing all pacifists with a bullet in the head would be counter productive for obvious reasons.
You know, I would not be so quick to arrive at a conclusion one way or another. I concur, evidence is lacking & having run criminal investigations for over ten years, I myself hesitate to pass conclusive judgements until all the facts are in, so to speak. But motive? There are plenty, from the petty – which would be intimidation, to more strategic – like attempting to provoke a confrontation by raising tensions constantly, keeping up pressure in the most sinister manner. For Russia, if word gets out that its diplomats are being assassinated in such a way that they are unable to respond in kind, then this does damage prestige somewhat – at a time when Russia’s rating internationally in sky rocketing. So I am not sure, but the minute I heard Churkin had died from some sort of ‘sudden’ cardiac arrest type event, I automatically thought of Mossad assassination methods. They are experts at this sort of thing, if that is what it was.
Not questioning the odds of coincidence in the deaths of critical personnel…especially in light of the recent and flagrant assassinations of Motorola. Givi and the Russian ambassador to Turkey during a time when Russia is under constant attack by the globalist Deep State is naïve. I am sure the Russian Federation is not making this assumption.
Sorry to hijack this post, but wanted to put this at the top of the “heart disease”/nutrition thread of posts for reader/poster convenience. The mod requested we take that discussion to the Moveable Feast section, so I have placed a post at the top of the 2017/02/23 edition for that purpose.
Seeya there!
“If the truth be known coronary artery disease is a toothless paper tiger that need never ever exist and if it does exist it need never ever progress.”
Q&A with Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., M.D.
Question: What is coronary heart disease?
Answer: Coronary heart disease is the leading killer of woman and men in western civilization. It is predicated to become the #1 global disease burden by 2020.
It consists of an inflammatory buildup of blockages in arteries to the heart muscle. These blockages are made of fat, cholesterol, calcium, and inflammatory cells. Blockages can become severe enough to cause symptoms such as shortness of breath or chest pain (angina). When blockages suddenly become complete, the portion of heart muscle fed by that blocked artery is now deprived of oxygen and nutrients, thus it is injured or now dies. This is a heart attack. The patient may survive or succumb if the event is accompanied by a fatal heart rhythm.
Question: Who develops heart disease?
Answer: Everyone eating the typical western diet. In autopsy studies of our GI’s who died in the Vietnam and Korean wars almost 80% at an average age of 20 years, had disease that could be seen without a microscope. Forty years later in 1999, a study of young persons between the ages of 16-34 years who have died of accidents, homicides and suicides, finds the disease is now ubiquitous.
Question: What is the cause of the disease?
Answer: It is the typical western diet of processed oils, dairy, and meat which destroys the lifejacket of our blood vessels known as our endothelial cells. This cell layer is a one cell thick lining of all of our blood vessels. Endothelial cells manufacture a magical protective molecule of gas called nitric oxide, which protects our blood vessels. It keeps our blood flowing smoothly, it is the strongest dilator (widener), of our blood vessels, it inhibits the formation of blockages (plaques), and t inhibits inflammation.
Question: With such natural protection why do we ever develop heart disease?
Answer: Every western meal of processed vegetable oils, dairy products, and meat (including chicken and fish) injures these endothelial cells. As individuals consume theses damaging products throughout their lives, they have fewer functioning endothelial cells remaining and thus less of the protective nitric oxide. Without enough nitric oxide the plaque blockages build up and grow creating eventually heart disease and strokes.
Question: Can it be stopped or even reversed?
Answer: Yes. First we must look at the lessons learned from cultures where there is a virtual absence of coronary artery heart disease such as rural China, the Papua Highlands of New Guinea, Central Africa, and the Tarahumara Indians of Northern Mexico. Their nutrition is plant based without oil.
Beginning in 1985 I initiated a study of seriously ill coronary artery disease patients. Their nutrition became plant based without oil. Their cholesterol levels plummeted. Their angina disappeared. Their weight dropped. I have reported this study at 5 years, 12 years, and 16 years, in the peer reviewed scientific literature and again beyond 20 years in my book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. In some of the patients we had follow up angiograms (x-rays) of previously blocked arteries demonstrating striking disease reversal, which is a testament to my often quoted statement “The truth be known coronary artery disease is a toothless paper tiger that need never exist and if it does exist it need never progress.”
The greatest gift to these patients is the increasing recognition that they are the locus of control for their disease – not some pill or procedure. They have made themselves heart attack proof and lose the greatest fear of all heart patients and their families – when will the next heart attack occur?
Question: What about drugs, stents, and heart bypass surgery?
Answer: Admittedly in the midst of a heart attack a stent or bypass may be live saving, however, for the remaining 90% studies confirm that they do not prevent future heart attacks or prolong life. They are associated with significant complications such as hemorrhage, heart attack, stroke, cognitive decline, depression, and death. The benefits erode with the passage of time as the stents and bypasses may themselves develop blockage.
Some drugs may decrease blood pressure and the heart workload. Others interfere with clotting which helps a stent remain open. Statin drugs lower cholesterol. None of these drugs or interventions addresses the basic causation of disease and not surprisingly the disease progresses with the need for more drugs, stents, and repeat bypasses.
Question: Why aren’t physicians using nutrition therapy?
Answer: Most physicians have no training or understanding of the power of nutrition. In a busy practice they would not have the time for it. It is my belief that physicians must accord the plant based lifestyle transition its due. Every patient with cardiovascular disease should be referred to a physician or nurse practitioner with the knowledge and expertise in these counselling skills.
Question: But I understand physicians don’t feel patients will make this transition. How come?
Answer: Nutrition counselling is a skill which physicians don’t possess. Of all the encounters a patient with cardiovascular disease experiences, perhaps the least time and lowest priority is nutritional counselling. I see many patients with heart disease who recount that nutrition was never even mentioned. It is therefore unlikely that the patient feels that nutrition is important.
Question: What is that you do differently?
Answer: In an intensive 5 hour counselling session for a group of heart patients my first priority is to eliminate the mystery of what causes their disease. It has not been stress, or genes. It is their western diet of processed oil, dairy, and meat. Hypertension, diabetes, and smoking must be controlled but food trumps all. I spend at least an hour defining the protective role of endothelial cells and nitric oxide functioning as the ultimate guardians of our blood vessels. They quickly understand that their lifetime of ingesting these harmful products has totally overwhelmed and destroyed their endothelium to an extent where it is unable to protect them. They fully grasp that they must forever eliminate ingesting foods that will further destroy their already compromised endothelium. They understand heart disease is a food borne illness.
Question: Where is the good news?
Answer: They understand that they can halt their disease. They are presented with my scientific articles demonstrating reversal of disease. They learn that angina chest pain may diminish or disappear within 10-14 days in some patients while others may take longer. We share our data confirming reversal of carotid artery disease to the brain, coronary artery disease of the heart, peripheral vascular disease in the extremities, and the reversal of erectile dysfunction. They are made to appreciate how rapidly and powerfully the endothelial function may be restored. The most significant message in our counselling is patient awareness that they are empowered to be the locus of control of their disease.
Question: What is your criticism of the present management of heart disease through drug stents and bypass surgery?
Answer: It is expensive, dangerous, and ineffective. None of these approaches addresses the factors that cause the disease. A doctor would never treat poison ivy without advising the patient to avoid exposure to poison ivy plants. Sadly the usual treatment of cardiovascular disease almost never includes hours of patient counselling so they may completely eliminate the foods which are injuring their endothelium. Stents may block, bypass veins shut down, drug doses increase, and blood vessel disease worsen. The present cost of this non-treatment of heart disease is unsustainable even in our wealthy nation.
Question: Dr. Esselstyn, are you a threat to the stenting and bypass industry?
Answer: Not really. Stents and bypass surgery in an emergency setting are absolutely lifesaving. However, for non-emergency situations an intensive lifestyle trial of 3-6 months would eliminate the need for most interventions. It is of interest that when physicians and some interventional cardiologist themselves develop the disease they come knocking at my door.
Question: What forces are lined against you?
Answer: The government, drug industry, and some of my own profession. The USDA every five years produces a food triangle which promotes the very foods which guarantee that millions of Americans will perish.
The drug industry has a $21 billion dollar income from statin drugs alone. The stent manufacturers make billions more. Neither of these companies would want this epidemic resolved.
Physicians who perform stents and bypass surgery earn millions and are hardly clamouring for fewer patients.
Question: Any final thoughts?
Answer: When people learn to eat plant based to eliminate heart disease it could inaugurate a seismic revolution in health. Other diseases that resolve include obesity, hypertension, stroke, heart attacks, gall stones, diverticulitis, asthma, osteoporosis, allergies, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, lupus, and a marked decrease in the common western cancers of breast, prostate, colon, endometrial, ovarian, and pancreatic.
Thanks Alex and Dr Esselstyn. I’ve been eating mainly plants for the last year, with rare exceptions.
When people are really chunky I suspect they are reducing their lifespan 10-20 years, Or a lot more, if quite obese.
Neither ambassador that recently died looked very healthy.
I was also concerned the last time I was in Russia. Too many young women smoking. What are they thinking??
On Saker, I agree, condemnation is premature. But caution, even some healthy suspicion? I think both are warranted.
@ Alex Cramer: There is one major missing piece of the nutritional puzzle in this pile of info. Modern humans are still genetically designed to consume what has been termed the paleo-diet, lots of lean game/meat, fish, with side dishes of raw or roasted vegetables and tree-ripened fruits/berries. What does this provide that the feed-lot meat, chemical-driven monoculture vegetables/fruits, large amounts of flour and sugar “western” diet does not? Then consider at least 70% of Americans are chronically on some prescription drug.
The modern western diet is estimated to only provide 25-30% of the taurine intake of our paleo-ancestors. And it is only available in meats, fish and in lesser amounts in other animal products like eggs. The medical industry works hard to convince the public our bodies can metabolize sufficient amounts of taurine where low dietary amounts occur… that is total BS. We need to consume about 2-6 grams daily, nearly impossible considering current meat products contain about 50-75 mg per kg. There are NO natural vegetarian food sources of taurine, so much for the myth of a “proper” vegan/vegetarian diet providing all the nutrients our bodies need. The list of systems taurine works in is long, but how about a few key ones: moderates glucose handling (prevents diabetes), eye/retina, heart/blood vessels, liver, kidney, gall bladder, muscles, nerves, brain. In essence most long-term health issues may be traceable back to chronic taurine deficiency, right up to moderate depression and high blood pressure. Of course, taurine requires vitamin supplements (esp a B-complex and A) to work on all these system functions.
Then look at the essential amino acid tryptophan which is the precursor to serotonins. Why do doctors prescribe any number of SSRI’s, SNRI’s, MAOI’s and other mood-altering drugs which operate around the serotonin system before ensuring the patient is getting sufficient tryptophan, taurine and vitamins? Because Big Pharma doesn’t make much money off amino acids and vitamins.
But once the medical/pharma profession has a patient taking a cocktail of drugs for all the various ailments now so common, it is a bizarre and sometimes painful, emotionally dangerous path to wean off the drugs while gradually introducing taurine and amino acid supplements. The nutritional supplements often make the drugs more effective, essentially overdosing the patient. And some drugs are difficult to taper off, as they are in a time-release matrix pills that should not be cut.
Now you know why Monsanto/Dupont, Big Pharma and the US/NATO Deep State are so keen to control all food/supplement sources. By controlling our food and the nutrients in it, they control our physical and mental health.
Avoid the energy drinks taurine is most commonly found in, they are often loaded with caffeine, sugar and preservatives your body doesn’t need.
Please take this conversation to the MFC – it is off-topic and any further comments will go to trash if posted here. Mod 2017/02/21 at 11.45pm
No, Alex Kramer’s comment is very appropriate and in my opinion he’s damn right. I can’t really say that of your paleo-comment, Dr. nice try.
Esselstyn has been duped, nice try has it right.
1)
Not only remove junk news from your diet, but all junk foods too.
And regular movement and down-time, and 90% of your health concerns are covered.
2)
Cut your carbs, especially grains, and eat more quality fats. Animal fats, ghee, coconut oil.
This has been our common diet for the last 200’000 years. before the Nanny-state and big FoodPharma arrived. Let them eat the diet they suggest themselves. Evolution will take care of the rest.
3)
Enjoy life.
Yes, humans have evolved to process various sorts of foods commonly available to them, but how have they evolved? It was not to live into one’s seventies (although it good for tribes to have old people among them), but to live long enough to reproduce and pass on those genes. Once the genetic material has reproduced in new generations the major task of the individual is accomplished, and living beyond the reproductive period is significantly less important in the survival and reproduction capacity of the new generation than group selection.
Sorry no, his comment follows on with the narrow-focus medicalization, chemicalization of our bodies and lives by not specifying what generalized nutrients should be supplemented to maintain better total health. I have spent a great deal of time to learn beyond the simple “eat better, eat this diet, take this remedy for that specific issue, another remedy for that issue, and so on and so on” messages.
And your little “Dr” jibe at me shows how trapped you are by institutional authorities. Bernays would be pleased. I would be in the 5% of Milgram’s test subjects who would not push the shock button and not sit quietly in a group that simply sat while smoke billowed under the door.
Read how little (and decreasing) time is devoted to the topic in medical school… now less than 20 hours… I’ll stack that up against my several hundred hours researching nutrition.
http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2013-03-26/health/ct-met-heart-nutrition-20130326_1_mediterranean-style-diet-heart-disease-diet-and-nutrition
“Despite a growing consensus that cardiovascular disease is a “food-borne” illness, many physicians are ill-prepared to advise patients on what they should eat to best protect them from heart attack or stroke.”
“”There’s tremendous ignorance about nutrition among physicians,” added Dr. William Davis, a preventive cardiologist in Milwaukee. “It has never been part of the culture.”
“On average, doctors receive 19 hours of total nutrition education in medical school; in 2004 the average was 22.3 hours, according to the study, conducted as part of the Nutrition in Medicine project at UNC. In 2009, 27 percent of the schools met the minimum standard of nutrition training, compared with 38 percent in 2004.”
That article looks at the research on the positive impact on heart disease with the then-trendy (2003) Mediterranean Diet, but the same is true for paying attention to what our paleo-bodies require, not what Monsanto and Big Pharma thinks is best for us… or rather best for their profit margins and their role inside the Deep State.
Now consider the long list of body processes and organs taurine and tryptophan are critically involved with…
Getting this required basic nutrition supplementation is as simple as a couple times a day mixing in water or juice a 1-cup mixture of a tablespoon or two of quality whey isolate, a 1/2-tsp of taurine, and using that to swallow your daily multi-vitamin/mineral supplements. To complete the essentials, add a 1/2-tsp of processed collagen powder (from grass fed hides) to the mix, as there are few collagen/gelatin sources in our food these days. No complicated diet to follow, no guru to hang on their every word, no calories to count (that’s why the isolate is better than the cheaper standard whey powder). Just ensure your body gets the building blocks it needs and eat reasonably, avoiding the worst chemical laden crap as best you can afford. In Canada this month-long supplement experiment costs about $100.. I ask readers, what’s YOUR health worth?
Or more to the point, the health of your children and grandchildren who have not yet been duped into the pharma-trap? Over 70% of North Americans are known to be on prescription medication (my experience would indicate that is nearly 90% for people over age 50).
I challenge readers (warning!!!! thoroughly, REALLY thoroughly, check your list of meds for serious contraindications, a lot of common drugs (like SSRI’s, blood pressure meds) mean DON’T EVEN TRY on your own) to try this for a month and observe how much better you feel in a wide variety of ways.
It’s just food (as long as the medical community hasn’t loaded your body with drugs that screw up your basic processes).
How “hidden” is taurine from the public? The blogging software spell checker here at saker flags it as an unknown word. But the checker knows tryptophan… things than make ya go HHHHMMMM… It may take a while for your “Google” search to begin to find taurine references other than warnings about energy drinks and how taurine is not bull urine… don’t forget Google “tailors” results to what it “thinks” you want to know based on your other searches and cookies. I noticed that even my meta-search engine (not just Google) took about a week to begin to include actual research paper links.
I invoke Schopenhauer’s Three Stages of Truth. Let me know when you get to “pronounced as self-evident”.
I’ve always wondered what the main reason is for the disastrous teeth in our societies, especially when you consider groups, like certain indigenous societies in Mexico and South America for example, who have a perfect set of teeth into advanced age and probably don’t even brush, let alone visit a dentist. Has to be something to do with what they eat.
Too much white sugar and processed foods.
Not enough animal fats and fat-solvable vitamins.
Check Weston A. Price
http://www.westonaprice.org/abcs-of-nutrition/
The good teeth of Mexican Indians are easily explained: Tortillas as basic nutrition are made of Nixtamal, which is extremly simple to prepare: You cook raw undried corn in water with lime stones (you may use calcium hydoxide, dead lime, as well) until you can peel off the skin of the corn easily and it has a consistency like hazelnuts. Then you mill it and form the torillas. That’s all, no spices, no salt, no additions, it is as simply as that. The lime in the water makes the Nixtamal sticky so you can easily form thin tortillas, and it gives the typical taste. Compared to that, wheat tortillias are trash.
With Mexican tortillias as standard dish, your body gets constantly loaded with lots of calcium which means strong bones, hard teeth, no or little allergies, healthy cardiovuscular system. Jointly with frijoles negros as second central part of the traditional Mexican nutrition, you have all essential amino acids supplied by your daily dish. Add some salad plus chili for ascorbine acid and an endorphine kick, and you have your perfect and tasty food.
Curiously enough, the answer to your question about dental health has been known – and publicly – since about 1930.
“Nutrition and Physical Degeneration” by Dr Weston A. Price

Short abstract: Dr Price toured the world to examine people from over a dozen “primitive” communities (i.e. those still eating their traditional diets). From the Inuit to the Maori, from the descendants of the Inca in the Andes to the surviving Native Americans, none of them had any significant dental caries. Or any of the “White Man’s diseases” such as heart failure, stroke, atherosclerosis, cancer, diabetes, etc. Or any allergies. Their jaws were obviously wider, their jaw muscles far stronger, their teeth stronger and well spaced.
Whenever such people began eating “government rations” (mainly white flour, sugar and such “luxuries” as tea and coffee) their health went to pieces within a few years, and their children were just as unhealthy as typical Westerners.
Vitamin K has been claimed to be pretty critical in keeping blood pathways clear, and preventing calcification in them. Especially if one takes Vitamin D supplements. I wouldn’t be surprised that modern RDI’s are way lacking, especially as big pharma has $100s billions at stake. Just saying.

@ cortisol: Absolutely, for one or two specific issues, single-vitamin supplements in addition to a quality daily multivitamin/mineral routine. If only the single-vitamins are taken many trace vitamin/mineral requirements may be inadequate in a “regular” western diet. Adequate amino acids will help reduce the need for high specific vitamin additions like K to fix what chronic amino malnutrition causes. The Recommended Daily Allowances may not be all that low IF the body is properly nourished with basic building blocks like amino acids.
Taurine actually works in cell walls throughout the body (hence why it is so prevalent in meats/fish flesh/organs), ensuring the proper balance during cell metabolism, for minerals like magnesium, potassium and calcium, plus nutrient/waste exchange from the cell fluids. Taurine specifically keeps blood vessel walls more flexible and resistant to accumulating unwanted material, plus helps keep the muscles surrounding the blood vessels from accumulating too much calcium which prevents them from dilating or contracting to help properly regulate blood pressure.
Roast Prime Rib of Beef
Serves 8-10
1 prime rib roast of beef, 8-12 pounds, tied between the ribs
Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F. Generously season the roast all over with salt and pepper. Heat a heavy skillet large enough to accommodate the roast and sear the meaty sides until they are nicely browned, 5-10 minutes.
Transfer the roast to a large roasting pan, rib side down, and roast in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 120 degrees for rare, 130-135 degrees for medium-rare, or 140 degrees for medium, 3-4 1/2 hours. Transfer the roast beef to a carving board or a warm serving platter and let it rest for 30 minutes. Remove the string before carving.
Best with skinned potatoes cooked with the roast. You can also roast cut carrots and cook them with the roast beef, too, both spuds and carrots in the same pan as the roast.

If eating animals is so bad why do they taste like meat?
I’m afraid to eat less than well done meat now, and in fact eggs and veggies too, the handling and sanitation standards are so horrible now, with so much of it contaminated with germs.
Beef, of course, is so expensive now I gaze into the meat department shelf like I used to into Mercedes showrooms. I’m also living in a food desert, and much of what there is barely even tastes like food, and is full of pollutants (and GMO is everywhere).
Pretty good chance, I’d say, that Churkin was not eating as well as he would have back in Russia.
This AO is a breadbasket. Spring, summer and fall every few days we go to the outlying villages and buy local products. No chemicals, the locals can’t afford them although some of the locals do have some kind of a hot house, usually home made although some are not small. Fruits and vegetables picked that day. Eggs fresh that day.
Milk we do buy at the local store by the case but my wife buys cottage cheese from locals, this as part of the diet for the dogs. We also buy buckwheat by the sack and meat scraps from the butcher for them.
Pig is also local. Beef is not but mostly from Krim. Chicken is local. Again, no chemicals and no artificial colouring. We have a butcher to whom we have given custom for ten years. Fresh fish is also local and from Black Sea. Processed fish I don’t know about all of it but some is also done locally. I don’t eat fish.
For sausage to die for we go to Bahxtisarai about 30 klicks to the east, the old Tartar Khanate capitol. All beef sausage there and wonderful cheese.
Wine is generally Inkerman and beer is Krim. Bread is baked daily and brought early in the AM to the local shops and kiosks, often still warm from the ovens as the trucks are insulated.
I won’t tell you the prices. GMO is illegal here and can not be used nor imported.
In “modern” major Canadian cities, eating as Auslander describes is an expensive luxury. But we do what we can to support local non-GMO/antibiotic/hormone meat/dairy producers and the co-op that sources as much local/low-chemical produce as possible. So that’s why we supplement with a simple regimen of multi-vitamins, whey isolate and taurine powder to ensure amino acid intake and proper metabolism of them.
Bon appetit !
Add Kefir and put lots of linseedoil (cold pressed) into it together with chives and seasalt (unwashed).
When I shall have subdivided my land , I ‘ ll move over there to my forefathers.
@ Blue: Unfortunately, high heat is the enemy of many bonded amino acids our bodies need. When coupled to the animal rights movement and “health” industry media push to tell us to save the planet by not eating, or eating less, meat/fish(mercury), the available taurine content in our food is further reduced.
Humans are genetically, metabolistically omnivores, sorry for offending any vegans/vegetarians present. Those who choose not to eat any animal products must become highly knowledgeable to ensure they substitute for all amino acids, collagens, etc. most commonly found in the animal products of human omnivores.
Taurine powder is synthetically derived, so no vegan issue there (mostly made for animal feed, so your cat’s kidneys don’t fail and their eyes are healthy), but most other amino acid supplements are whey-based, including tryptophan. Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, in that we must get it from food or supplements, otherwise low/no serotonin… can you say depression or anxiety disorders… which doctors then immediately hit you up with SSRI’s instead of tryptophan and B6 supplements.
This conversation is completely off-topic and should be in the MFC. Please can all commenters take it there. Mod
Speculations as to the cause of death of Mr. Churkin are being discussed here. He had a heart attack, which is most likely due to poor diet and therefor just as violent, premature and needless as assassination. That being said I will withdraw.
Actually, we don’t even know it was a heart attack. The MSM reported that, as leaked information (we know how reliable they are), but the US medical guy said the investigation was not finished, and the cadaver had not been moved to Russia yet. It’s not conclusive.
I beg to differ sir. As you say in 3., there was an understanding to not attack each other’s personnel but it’s not valid now. Anglozionists are provoking Russia in all manners possible, and murders of diplomats and destruction of symbols (like the Red Army Choir) are one of those means. Russians do not retaliate because they don’t want to fall in the trap.
Coincidences do happen, but doubts are raising with numbers.
There’s a hidden and not so hidden war and it’s nasty.
Kind regards
J
But who murdered Kim in Malaysia?
Given Malaysia was one of the few countries in the world to maintain diplomatic relations with North Korea, it does seem telling that relations between these two countries have immediately soured in the wake of the assassination of “Kim” (whichever Kim, but we’re being told it’s the brother of the President).
Cui bono?
Who would benefit from isolating North Korea from it’s partners? (Few that there are in any case).
Would there be any parties out there with a motive to seek the further isolation of North Korea (DPRK) from the outside world?
To force them more inward and cut off their possibilities of reaching out through third parties?
I’m trying to work out who might benefit from this further isolation of DPRK?
Anyone?
Interesting, are we dealing with the same Malaysia that lost some aircrafts among other things?
Churkin’s death may be related to his pressing for a Kosovo organ selling investigation.
I disagree with the fact that you are strongly rejecting “conspiracy” base on the fact of what you have read for one single reason:when there is a serie of something it is often indicative of a pattern .If you had heard Mike Morell on Charlie Rose ‘s talk show and his promise to inflict pain on Russians through assassinations and targeting of their troops in Syria without ever acknowledging it and you had seen Russian diplomats suddenly dying including a consul in NewYork a short time ago and then had read about Russian troops ambushed in Syria ,the last one occurring 3 days ago, and read about the plane that suddenly went down on his road to Syria in the Black Sea with the most famous Russian (military)orchestra on board, well if you read about all this you might be entitle to register it and start asking questions. As for what happened as gentleman agreement during the Cold War that is certainly not the case now with the Empire in complete disarray and experiencing a real civil war among its different branches…The United $nakes of ZA has never stoop so low before so yes nothing on earth would surprise me.For this reason you can’t be these days categorical on anything…
On another note congratulation for posting an awful ranting by one Ahmed Khan,it is not enough to be called Ahmed to be entitled to blast anything and everything related to Iran or Resistance. It took me some seconds to realise that no that was not a wahabi rag but the page of Saker the same Saker I have followed for some years now.”Some friends told me in Jordan the awful treatment “bla bla this is the method you read in Saudi -qatari-gulfi papers, invoke hypothetical friends and then buuuum bash the ennemy. You want to talk about Jordan and its poisonous environment well let start from there and then we can go to Iraq and Iran.I am from the region ,an arab, and lived there enough to discern a lie when I see it.That doesn’t mean Iran is a Saint .Subhi Tufayli has been evicted from Hezbollah a very long time ago and he is now on the payroll of the Queen of Democracy Saudi Arabia….Any way thank you for your postings Saker,
as many around the globe I enjoy reading you
There is a mystery about what happened in Iraq after the American invasion and I welcome the information about the former Hezbollah sheikh from the Bekaa Valley, even if the sheikh might be wrong. I never understood why Iran was not ultra-vigorous to quash Sunni-Shia tension in Iraq. I have asked several very well-informed people I know from the region, and they don’t know. Does anyone here have any real answers ?
Obviously the 2003 American invasion was intended to further destroy Iraq and had a plan that included creation of an insurgency, because otherwise the US occupation would not have disbanded the Iraqi Army, sent them home with no hope of a paycheck, and said, “Don’t forget to take your Kalashnikovs.’ If promoting hatred between Sunnis and Shias, and between Arabs and Kurds was near the top of the US agenda, it was at the very top for the Israelis, and you have to keep in mind that the main reason for this was that Israel wanted it, and had wanted it since 1982, Everyone knows that sectarian hatred was the key for outsiders to dominate Iraq, starting with the Brits by 1920. Obviously the Iranian government knows this, probably better than anyone else, that reducing Sunni-Shia tensions is of the highest importance. So why did not the Iranians act more effectively to reduce Sunni-Shia tensions in Iraq ? The most I ever saw was platitudes from a few Iranian officials. I have to assume the Iranians did act quietly but that’s merely an assumption without evidence. I can’t read Arabic and I don’t have any sources in Iraq, so I never arrived at any hard truths. I think when the Shia militas got the upper hand, they were in revenge mode and I think that reports of torture and execution of prisoners are true. I doubt the Sunni militas were saints, either. I never heard of any reconciliation organizations such as you could find in Syria, even before the Russians came to help. I knew a Sufi dance teacher from Iraq who had lived in the West for 25 years. He was the real thing, and didn’t own more than he could put in a suitcase. He said there were deep differences between Iraq and Iran which religion could not bridge. I wondered if the suffering and hatred caused by the tragic Imposed War, 1980-88, meant that Iran was only half-hearted in wanting to prevent a second American-imposed tragedy on Iraq. I always wondered if there might have been some understandings between the US and Iran, some tit-for-tat along with an American military threat, in which the Americans would allow Iran some influence, but not enough to really resolve the problems. As for the car bombs, those came from the Israelis who built them in Kurdistan and had no trouble getting them into Iraq. Car bombs is the signature Israeli weapon, as every Lebanese already knew in 1990. The death toll was both horrendous and strategic: 5,000 PhD. scientists and Shia holy places. The systematic extermination of Iraqi scientists is what first told me – with absolutely certainty – that Israel was behind the bombings, not al-Qaeda. The scientists were vital for a restored Iraq. Something that Westerners don’t generally know is that Iraq was the only Arab country with a functioning industrial base and real univesities, etc. That is what put Iraq as number one on the Israeli hit list. All the other Arab states were pushovers. I got off topic; I will return to the question of what really happened in Iraq, post-2003.
About Iran’s efforts to stop the sectarian hatred in Iraq: I have to assume that some important efforts were made, but the world never got to see anything.
If any readers have relevant facts or speculation, please let us know. If anyone has any specific bad facts about the sheik, rather than the fact-free rhetoric and innuendo that was in the comment from BH, that would be worth knowing. BH, if you have any evidence to support your assertion that Subhi Tufayli is on the Saudi payroll, please let us know. The fact that Hezbollah expelled him in the early years is not strong evidence, in my opinion. Hezbollah admits to having made a few mistakes in its first few years. It would be most interesting to know what Hezbollah says today about Subhi Tufayli.
“Killing diplomats is useless. They don’t really take decisions but their symbolic value is immense. Thus the benefit for murdering them is zero and the cost potentially a nuclear war.”
Last week the opposite was told by some: Givi, Motorola and all others had to be killed *because* of their symbolic value. So what’s correct then?
Also to have or not to have a good man in the UNSC may well make a difference.
Does it mean then that you disagree with Vladimir Putin (who was enraged over this tragic news), because you now say that even top diplomats like Vitaly Churkin are basically useless?
What about Minsk2 then – isn’t it so phantstic just because it is smart diplomacy?
As for statistics: How many leading dimplomats does the USA have? And how many of them have “died” within the past (or any recent) 2 months?
Sorry, but I’m honestly confused.
Stalin thought FDR was poisoned, and said so to Elanor – according to Gore Vidal. Stalin was not alone in his opinion. However I seem to recall that killing the diplomats is itself a diplomatic act – it is an irretrievable casting of the die to the Fates of War – a stark statement that no further negotiation is called for and that the business will be settled by force alone. I believe the Romans used this technique, but others will remember with certainty.
Oh, yeah, maybe it’s a coincidence. It may be. Really be, a coincidence. If so there’s sure a long list of coincidences…and having the bad luck of misreading a true coincidence for a strategic message would be just that – bad luck. That does not matter, one fights based of capabilities and probabilities based on past behaviors. Ivan has that computer running, crunching probabilities – now gee whiz, I wonder why…
Withal, I see Comrade President as having taken the decision to settle the Mink 2 matter by force, minimum force, but force, in the near future. If so, then NATO will be seen to have zero valve – either they are obliterated in a brief campaign in theater, or they do not fight. Either way NATO goes “poof”.
Either way the world will no longer be ruled by the Empire.
Either way Trump gets the blame. Poor sod…
It won’t happen until the die is cast – which won’t be until after the European election season concludes with Russia/Italy in 2018.
Then you have the FIFA World Cup in mid-2018.
I don’t see any fateful decisions by Russia until Putin is firmly re-elected next April, and comes through a successful hosting of the World Cup.
Spring 2018 (September 2018) is the month to watch.
I predict it will be the Winter of 2018-19 that gas supplies through Ukraine are cut.
Perhaps the Trans-Balkan pipeline is blown up by Ukrainian nationalists?
What a pity.
Roosevelt’s Vice President Harry Truman had reason and ability to assassinate Roosevelt easily. Truman was waiting for Roosevelt to die so he could Atom bomb Japan as it sued for peace. He did so die.
At least one of the ambassadors has been murdered – that is a fact. With proof. The whole affair has been filmed.
Cannot see why there has to be the same modus operandi.
The empire had effectively declared war on Russia, 21 century mode, and we’ve seen how vicious and sneaky it is. This is all part of the warfare.
The western secret operatives’ methods are very consistent with these attacks: sneaky and in your back.
There is such a thing as intuition. Mine is screaming foul play.
At least one of the ambassadors has been murdered – that is a fact. With proof. The whole affair has been filmed.
Yes. that is proof that he has been murdered. this is NOT the proof that there is a spree of murders of Russian diplomats.
If you see a blond woman in France that does not mean that all French women are blond.
Consider this, what was the chance Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez who insulted Bush Jr. at the UN podium as Sulfur, would die after a year? Nothing is accident if there is pattern and motive. Of course, the attempt to accuse instills fear. The US lies that Syrian military used chemical weapons for example, but it doesn’t care whether it is a lie.?
Interesting. I consider comments like this one to be blatant gatekeeping. Anyone not seriously considering some form of conspiracy situation in response to such a string of deaths (killings?) is simply being absurd. The reasons offered for why we certainly shouldn’t consider conspiracy possibilities are, as always, silly. Perhaps a new philosophical rule of thumb should be considered: not every coincidence is a mere coincidence.
I consider comments like this one to be blatant gatekeeping.
Okay. I admit. You caught me. I am a gatekeeper. For the CIA. And Mossad. And the FSB. They pay me to prevent you from asking the important questions. First, I wanted to become a rabbi, like my father, but there is so much more money to be made in gatekeeping that I decided for the latter.
So, bravo! I comment you for unmasking me :-)
Perhaps a new philosophical rule of thumb should be considered: not every coincidence is a mere coincidence.
That is frigging brilliant!!! And it allows for so many useful variations. Just replace the two instances of “coincidence” with any other word. Like “not every fish is a mere fish”. Or “not every toothbrush is a mere toothbrush”. Love that stuff!
Hours of fun!!
Thank you!
The Saker
Viewing them as synchronistic may hold value.
According to Wikipedia”
“Synchronicity is a concept, first explained by psychoanalyst Carl Jung, which holds that events are “meaningful coincidences” if they occur with no causal relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related.”
As Freud said, “sometimes a cigar is just cigar”.
Yeah, just ask wild Bill, he’ll confirm. ;-)
Normally I agree with most of your analyses Saker, but this time around, I think we’ll just have to agree to disagree on this one.
Something sinister is afoot with the death of these individuals.
I’am not quick on conspiracies, but I just cant shake the feeling that these deaths are too convenient to be a coincidence.
Individuals and entities are trying to provoke a confrontation with Russia.
Just imagine – like many have been suggesting – if the nationality of these individuals were American or Israeli, the Zionist owned and controlled MSM would be in over-drive right now trying to connect a polonium trail back to the Kremlin.
A war is being waged against Russia from the shadows.
Short of open conflict, Russia needs to don its brass knuckles and take to the shadows to dispense righteous vengeance against the perpatrators.
Yes Saker, I agree…I mean it was tempting to think the worst when I had just learned of VC’s death…so sad- so sad –
But also, the Duran has a great piece on Vitaly Churkin and you can see there, that he has aged tremendously since 1992…in the first interview with Charlie Rose.
I guess there was alot of stress in his job, and some people just don’t live long lives…
God Bless Vitaly Churkin for all the hits he took during his tenure at the UN. He will continue to work for Good from the Spiritual World.
here is the link to the memorable moments of Vitaly Churkin
http://theduran.com/6-best-moments-from-vitaly-churkin-russia-un-ambassador/
He has aged tremendously since 1992? hahah. Well too bad that was 25 years ago Ann and I think most people age tremendously between 40 and 65, and yes he led a stressful life, still no history of stroke or coronary diseases to indicate he was at particular risk. So really that does not help us any further at all. So sorry but that argument to me is not valid.
I had not known his medical history was public. Where can I find that?
Sadly, Churkin was under years of constant stress, and stress kills.
Men who work assiduously with determination wear out.
Look at the ages of these men.
Even the murdered Ankara ambassador was at an age where a heart attack was more likely than the assassination.
Lavrov smokes and this is not good. Losing Lavrov would be catastrophic.
Especially, good people tend to die when we most need them.
Evil tends to last decades longer (McCain, Rothschild, Rockefeller, Bush, Soros).
These are ironies of human life.
What has happened are human tragedies and irony.
“Evil tends to last decades longer (McCain, Rothschild, Rockefeller, Bush, Soros).”
One might call it divine punishment. These freaks live in a constant, delusional nightmare – fighting shadows and ghosts during day time, orcs and un-deads at night. They annoy everybody in their vicinity, even cats, rats and dogs run away.
“Stress” the main excuses of death.
Name one country that had four diplomats die in one month for the last hundred years.
If it quacks like a duck it cant be a moose.
With Churkin they crossed the line. There will be hell to pay.As they say, paybacks are a bitch.
I totally agree!!!
That picture is tasteless.
I agree.
You contradict yourself sake ol’ buddy by quoting Carl and Willy. There is either a war on Russia by the empire or there isn’t…which is it?
This is probably the very first time I’m going to disagree with the Saker.
There are many angles from which these “murders” or accidence can be observed from. First, getting rid of an older generation of Russian political figures is very beneficial to the Zionists tribe because they believe that the newer generation of Russians is more corrupted or more susceptible to corruption. Secondly, as stated in many Mossad and CIA related books, the absolute majority of the subversive work will never be discovered. The hallmark of a well-executed operation is the one that would have no discernible benefits/motives, no evidence or the kind of evidence that points in the opposite direction.
In other words, it has to be air tight in every way. The description of your doubts is precisely how the aftermath of a good operation should be reviewed.
I’m not saying that these were definitely murders. I’m just saying that logical conclusions are often suffering from linear thinking. Great crimes, just like great scientific discoveries are often come about as a result of non –linear thinking.
How do you prove if a heart attack was natural or intentionally applied towards a person. Mr. Churkin was a gifted and well known Diplomat, many years on the world stage. Lawton Chiles was a Florida governor when he was heart attacked and died in 1998 with 23 days left in his term as a governor. Lawton was physically fit and to get noticed in politics he walked 1000 miles across Florida and got elected. In the previous election he beat Jeb Bush. When Lawton died Jeb Bush was elected to the governorship of Florida. That position made it possible for his brother Bush Jr. to win the presidency of the USA. Florida was the deciding state in the 1999 elections.
A lot a people suspected foul play and there was talk of a heart attack apparatus being used on Lawton Chiles. In the last 50 years there has been a lot of articles written about such an apparatus being used by covert governments and deep state.
I’m with the majority on this one, highly sceptical of the Saker’s conclusion. Clearly, the US deep state has been agitating for conflict with Russia since the 2008 clash in South Ossetia with their treacherous Georgian vassals under Saakashvili. It’s only ramped up since Russia reunited Crimea with the motherland in 2014. Naturally no conclusive proof exists yet for either view, but certainly I’m swayed by Obama’s comments days before he left office about punishing the Russians for interfering in the November election. And Mike Morrell’s blatant comments before Congress and on Charlie Rose that Russia had to “pay a price”, ie, covert assassinations of key personnel, as payback for turning the tide of the Syrian war. The embedded link has snippets of Obama and Morrell’s comments, which are far more persuasive than some supposed “gentleman’s agreement” dating back to the cold war between the US and Russia.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLA7VtGvkPE
I agree with Zivko, if there had been no threat from the likes of Mike Morrell, it would be different but we have a situation where many people are dying of these heart attacks. Even journalists like Tim Russert and Udo Ulfkotte, they died of a heart attack after saying the wrong thing. Threats came from Shumer also. He said about Trump: the CIA has six ways till sunday to make him pay.
You heard it here first…
Breaking news! The president just had a heart attack, here is the footage live from washington. It is a terrible tragedy and everyone will regret the passing of such a great man. Thankfully we just happened to be there when it happened, we bring it to you live. Stay tuned for the most recent details.
– CNN the most trusted name in the news.
In terms of investigating the cause of death, c’mon, one can’t be naive waiting for investigation while you are at war with the same nemesis.
Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times is enemy action.
And we are considering the fourth time… not to mention Mr Putin’s chauffeur (why hasn’t anyone mentioned him?) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3776086/Vladimir-Putin-s-official-car-involved-head-crash-Moscow-killed-Russian-president-s-favourite-chauffeur.html
And the choir… and the Russian soldiers in Syria, killed by a massive IED blast for which no terrorists claimed credit…
It’s worth mention:
1. Putin was asked once is he afraid of assassination.
2. Russia was accused of planning of assassination of Moldavian president.
3. Some US politicians were calling for killing of Russians.
There is no proof that they didn’t do it either. if there are more cases, perhaps they just do that, and don’t expect retaliations, they think that Russia would be more afraid of hysteria that follows with headlines all over the world.
The assassination of the Russian ambassador to turkey was likely engineered to throw a wrench into the warming Russian-turk relations. It may have been a turk faction behind it, maybe israeloamericans/nato using turk proxies, but regardless, the it was done to help the interests of the zpc/nwo.
The others, I’ve not seen anything which would be evidence of murder.
Really? I thought we all were following the incredible diplomatic efforts of these brilliant people all the way… Their work is enough evidence, isn’t it?
Mr Putin cannot do all the resistance work alone – he needs a team. I think that it is this team that is being destroyed. They are all close to Mr Putin, to his policies.
Too many coincidences; too close together.
All signals to Putin and now Trump ie Flynn – if you have valuable assets in the way, they are targets
Churkin was especially high profile; most recently pushed back against Trump that Iran did not violate the treaty with missile test.
He would have been invaluable during upcoming sparring with Haley
The powers that be that control the US are at a state where the US / powers that be, must be considered guilty until proven innocent. Too many threats have emanated from the US.
Your points are debatable.
1-Tsunami? Well, how often does a country lose this many diplomats in this short of a time?
2-No pattern. The counter-argument is that there is a pattern, which is called dead Russian diplomats.
3-Cold War deals. Things are more serious now, much more serious. The Cold War was a construct that benefited the Western elite. Their dream of an NWO is at risk now, and they are hysterical.
4-Useless. Maybe, maybe not. It it continues, will there be pressure on Putin? Who has the ability of Churkin and knows where the children’s bodies are buried as well?
5-Retaliation would be terrible. The Kremlin retaliated against Chechens, but will they retaliate against the Empire? If we speculate that the Russian plane was taken down off Sochi, what would the Kremlin do? What could they do? The Empire is above the law, or so they think. In fact, we have seen fairly limited retaliation by Moscow after a decade of provocations of one sort or another. Just look at the Donbass. Face it. The Kremlin’s strategy is to try to outwait the Empire – this might work but it surely isn’t based on retaliation.
So we just don’t know. But Carl Sagan was a tool for the System, and shouldn’t be put on a pedestal any more than, say, a media tool like Charlie Rose. Their job is to create arguments for you to believe the System’s countless lies.
There was an American military figure who was campaigning for Hillary who said that teh US needed to kill all of Putin’s favorite people, quietly, and this was before his chauffeur was killed. So they announced their intentions as clear as can be.
That was Mike Morell. He is ex-CIA, not military – like the difference between a jackal and a lion.
http://www.shtfplan.com/headli…
‘Only a month ago, [Mike] Morrell stunningly stated openly on television that he wanted to target the leadership of Russia, Iran and Assad in Syria. Morrell explicitly advocated taking out guards, top staff, top generals, etc. etc. of these leaders – not trying to assassinat[e] the head of state, but destroying the trusted people around them… and the killing of Putin’s “favorite” chauffeur appears to be exactly in the plans stated so carefully’.
From Wikipedia:
“Michael Joseph Morell (born September 4, 1958) is an American intelligence analyst. He served as the deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency as well as its acting director twice, first in 2011 and then from 2012 to 2013. Since November 2013, he has been a Senior Counselor to Beacon Global Strategies LLC. He is a critic of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s 2014 report on the CIA’s use of enhanced interrogation techniques, which many consider to be torture, and is also a proponent of the CIA’s targeted killings by drones”.
Michael Morell, ex CIA Deputy Director

“But Carl Sagan was a tool for the System, and shouldn’t be put on a pedestal any more than, say, a media tool like Charlie Rose.”
People are people, pedestals are for statues. Equating Sagan with rose is zio-gay style smearing. Have you got any reliable info about Sagan being a “tool for the system”?
Aside from that, what’s wrong with Sagan’s statement? Does it matter who said it?
The brownie in my garden said the square root of 64 is 9 — should we not believe that because brownies are usually bad at math? — so it is said — but are they? I know that gnomes are good at math, however. We need to determine these things to know the truth of square roots.
I would say that Sagan did, however, understand more of science and epistemology than most people.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem
Ad hominem (Latin for “to the man” or “to the person”[1]), short for argumentum ad hominem, is a logical fallacy in which an argument is rebutted by attacking the character, motive, or other attribute of the person making the argument, or persons associated with the argument, rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself.[2]
A lot of comments here mention political leader assassinations. Saker was taking specifically about assassinations of diplomats. The two should not be confused.
Off-topic but important.
Colonel Cassad posted some remarkable photos from Iraq made by Pro-Iranian Shiite militia “Hashd al-SHAABI”. Someone is dropping a shipment from the air, presumable to help the Caliphate where currently a fight goes on.
http://colonelcassad.livejournal.com/3259696.html
So the material support for daesh continues under the pindo tuppence regime, just like with israel’s previous quisling regime there.
I have been saying this for over a year. It started with the guy who was involved with starting RT who was found dead in his hotel room. It was ‘a heart attack’, the usual explanation however when the autopsy came back most of the bones in his body were broken meaning he was beaten to death with clubs which means there would be bruises all over him. The excuse was that there was alcohol over the legal limit in him so he fell multiple times and thats how the bones got broken. This makes no sense for several reasons. Then the Russian Intelligence chief died suddenly in Jordan. Then it was one of the ambassador’s followed by Putin’s favorite driver which was a clear assassination. Morrell made his statement ‘we will kill Russians without saying anything’. Then the Turkish ambassador and Churkin 2 days ago, They better get a forensic autopsy.
I agree. They could accomplish things with ease on their own soil, in New York. Churkin was taken to a hospital. They could do anything there. It sends shivers down my spine.
Russia has many diplomats, but Churkin is not just another diplomat. I follow this blog off and on, as well as other sources for information related to Russia and the Ukraine. To be honest, Churkin is one of the few Russian diplomats who is a familiar name and face (thanks partly to the shameful antics of Samantha Power at the UN). There are many diplomats, but there are only so many that have that sort of profile.
No, I am not saying he was definitely killed, but I have my suspicions.
Considering how many Russian civilian aircraft have gone down over the last year under extremely questionable circumstances, the deliberate attack on the Russian jet over the Syrian-Turkey border by Gulenists, the direct statement of targeting Russians directly by the deep state executives, the pre positioning of NATO supplies and weapons in Eastern Europe, the application of irrational debilitating sanctions (intended to be at least), the coup of Ukraine and the near-theft of their extremely strategic Crimean port, then yes, this particular death may be a coincidence but the overall trend is deafening.
“…the deliberate attack on the Russian jet over the Syrian-Turkey border by Gulenists…”
Which could not possibly have been carried out without the aid of AWACS, probably belonging to NATO. The Turkish F-16 which shot down the Su-24 waited until the Su-24 was heading away from Turkey and back towards its base. Then it shot across the border into Syrian air space, and fired one or more heat-seeking missiles which destroyed the Su-24. According to reports I have read, the F-16 was careful not to use active radar – to make absolutely sure its intended victim, or the victim’s wingman, could not put up any defence – and therefore would have needed to be vectored to the target by another radar.
As with most of the other murders, the shooting down of the Su-24 had Washington’s filthy fingerprints all over it. As usual, there is probably not quite enough evidence for an impartial court of law to convict. But then, we know that is how they like to operate. Indeed, Morell said as much – he more or less boasted of it.
Your comment…..“During the Cold War the US and Soviets had an understanding that they would not attack each other’s personnel simply because any such attack would trigger an immediate retaliation which both sides wanted to avoid. There is absolutely nothing suggesting that this has changed.”
With respect there is every reason in the world to believe this has changed.
Washington has become a global bully that rocks around the world doing exactly as it pleases. The Deep State that in essence calls most of the shots on foreign affairs for the US, actually constantly endeavours to create confrontation and war. They must maintain chaos in perpetuity to keep their multi-trillion dollar military industrial machine in business. To do this they must create or invent enemies even when they never existed in the first place.
These “people” don’t give a flying toss about treaties let alone agreements based on honour. They have not the faintest concept of anything other than self serving greed and hegemony. They have absolutely everything to gain by eliminating statesmen like Churkin who with his diplomatic poise and dignity had the ability to help defuse many a dangerous situation.
The fact that Churkin could accomplish his diplomacy in spite of having to work with dangerous incompetent morons like Obama, HRC, Kerry, Power and of course Nuland is all the more remarkable given the constant stream of lies and blather that he had to endure.
Churkin had to deal with these sort of sickening warmongering liars as the Russian UN envoy for 11 years could well have taken a huge toll on his health and immense stress may have caused his tragic and premature death. Equally I wouldn’t rule out foul play either. We well know that MSM reports of events are usually not worth the paper they are written on, so why would Main-street or anyone else for that matter believe a shred of the official accounts of what allegedly caused these recent deaths.
The only certainty in any of this is that humanity has lost a great man and that loss could well jeopardise the avoidance of a return to a very dangerous cold-war scenario. Of course this is precisely what the global Neoliberal agenda strives for.
Cheers
It is possible these undetermined events were assassinations, and possibly not — at this point I’d say probably not. But it’s unknown, all possibilities should be kept in mind, and evidence gathered as it may. Certainly things which are not related may occur so to seem related — there is even a word for it: coincidence, and it happens so frequently that it is a commonly heard word. Coincidences happen all the time. A similar word is synchronicity, which attributes events to more mysterious or unknown forces. And there are psychological or metaphysical explanations, such as how awareness of events can influence ones actions both consciously and unconsciously.
For instance, one can begin to believe that ‘it’s time to leave’ when one’s colleagues depart. Or it may psychic or magickal attack, or some sort of transition in the collective unconscious or telepathic connections. All sort of narratives are possible with different paradigms.
In practice, however, we use evidence and rational thinking, and consider the outcomes of employing the various narratives. To say ‘These are assassinations’ requires on to then decide what are you going to about it, and what is the damage from that assertion (on credibility, for instance). If you don’t have evidence and go off on some wild goose chase, or vengeance for what turns out to be imagined attacks, the situation deteriorates. If you go into supernatural explanations there is no end to what nonsense one might finally arrive in, because it’s fundamentally unknown. Try to think about ‘the odds’ without a firm grasp of the math and one can easily reach erroneous conclusions (as in the Monty Hall problem).
Let it sit. We don’t know, and there’s no point in jumping to unfounded conclusions. Just let it sit — there are many things we don’t know, never will, and will create problems by pursuing them into the dark fog. .
I somewhat agree, but I don’t think that just because we can’t prove something we should dismiss it as a strong possibility – or even a probability. Indeed, when dealing with the CIA that is the only possible course of action. Their first rule is to maintain plausible deniability, and I have come to feel that along the road they have acquired a taste for “pushing the envelope” in that regard. That is, they positively relish breaking every law and tradition of civilised human beings, while making sure that they can never *quite* be brought to book.
“Don’t believe anything. Regard things on a scale of probabilities. The things that seem most absurd, put under ‘Low Probability’, and the things that seem most plausible, you put under ‘High Probability’. Never believe anything. Once you believe anything, you stop thinking about it”.
– Robert Anton Wilson
I said ‘Let it sit. We don’t know, and there’s no point in jumping to unfounded conclusions’
That’s not dismissing it, and is as Wilson said.
Keep in mind that humans are great for looking for patterns, and finding them. My bathroom has a wall in the hsower — an old ’tile’ piece of masonite the water has gotten too and filled with stains. I have found a dozen or more faces on it — some very realistic ‘drawings’.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia
Pareidolia (/pærᵻˈdoʊliə/ parr-i-DOH-lee-ə) is a psychological phenomenon involving a stimulus (an image or a sound) wherein the mind perceives a familiar pattern of something where none exists.
Findings patterns (and creating abstractions) is one the major things the brain does, and often incorrectly. The traditional constellations in the sky don’t exist except from out perspective, and is generally created from stars at great distances from each other in depth.
On the other hands, there are plenty of things which are related which could see a pattern in, or miss the relationships completely, or draw the wrong conclusions. The old botany went by external appearances, relating difference plants with virtually relationship, and missing the genetic relationships of other because they did not look similar to us.
That’s a good reason to hold off on judgements as long as possible and wait for evidence and causality chains to be found, if one can delay decisions. As for the diplomats, lok at the wars the US and CIA (or Israel) has been involved and note how much incompetence we see — so it’s a bit of a stretch to think that they could pull off these blackops so successfully. We should not attribute such high competence to them. How many failing attempts did they make on Castro? The deaths from cancer on South American leaders is certainly suspicious — and yet we need evidence to make conclusions.
This sort of problem is very difficult — epistemology is tough, and so is getting solid evidence!
Let it sit, wait and see, and let the Russian professionals work on it.
Yes, the Russian professionals must work on it.
Since about 40% of this global hybrid war is information war ( about 50% fiscal & economic one, and about 10% real one) – I do think that V. Churkin’s worth at UN exceeds a division.
I base it on his power of persuasion in UN and UNSC, ability to neutralize opponents by truthful statements and occasionally sardonic comments. Furthermore, his constantly increasing role in the world media, even grudgingly western MSM, as a voice of official, RF, view of reality, was making
the enemies of RF exceedingly angry.
His elimination thus represents a very attractive objective for the enemies of RF, and, as we saw in the last 25 years specially in the last 3 years, there is nothing to prevent his elimination except fear of discovery. Just because there is no proof right now does not imply that there is none. It is quite
possible that V. Churkin died of natural causes. We shall see. The context of this event says it is unlikely. Just as destruction of 2 Russian planes full of passengers was not natural.
The ultimate fear of western deep state is Nuremberg type of court, which would expose all of their crimes against humanity for the last 25 years, may be last 72 years, is their imprisonment and confiscation of their wealth to be used to compensate their victims.
RF, in particular V. Putin, are not ready for that now, but I am sure are patiently collecting evidence for just such an event. Crimes against humanity do not have expiration date.
Regards, Spiral
It’s good to be able to talk pretty or cleverly, but Churkin had a another valuable asset: excellent knowledge of UN rules and procedures, and other diplomatic and technical knowledge. Like the story about master mechanic who has the knowledge of the machine, Churkin knew precisely where to kick the UN to make it operate.
If once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, and three times is enemy action, then four times tells us that the old understandings have been abandoned. We’re in uncharted territory, and it looks like here there be monsters.
Sorry Saker, the number of recent prominent Russian deaths is statistically improbable. Russia’s adversary is in an existential internal struggle, and the focus of that struggle is the role the USA will play vis a vis Russia in the decades to come. The US is being outplayed. Militarily, politically, and diplomatically, they’re losing on every front to Russia.
Their motto has ever been: “If you can’t beat ’em, kill ’em.”
The anti-Trump, the anti-Russian, and the pro-Zempire factions are in fact all just one faction, and they’ve opened the war blazing on all fronts – domestic and international. From Donbas, to Flynn, to Trump, to the Red Army Choir, to Churkov; it’s all part of the same strategy in what for them is now an existential contest. Everything is on the table, and they’ll go through the whole list before they stop. Yes, right up to nuclear war.
Russians may be famous for saddling up slowly and riding fast, but how slowly can they saddle in the face of incessant and accelerating provocation? The faction needs Russia to react; violently or stupidly, or preferably both, and they’ve pulled the stops out to make that happen. They’ll just keep ratcheting it up and if the Russians still don’t react, they’ll de facto declare a hot war.
If the Russians don’t saddle up soon, they may have no horses, or even riders before they get around to it.
Oh, and “Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem” is but one of Occam’s sayings, which collectively have come to be called Occam’s Razor. It is generally translated as “Entities should not be multiplied without number” or “… beyond the necessary”. There is another of his sayings that, I think, better pertains to these untimely deaths: “Everything is what it is and not another thing”.
Well said! In times of war you do not work on the assumption that your troops are being removed by “accidents”, and the NOW is at war with Russia. And there is a pattern: they did not die in Russia, and so not easy for Russia to investigate and have proofs.
I think you are being a bit rash to reject any notion of interference. M. Morell former acting CIA director even stated in an August interview at CBS that taking out people from Assad or Russia and Iran that are close to the head of state (in this case I think he mentions Assad) is what he would do, kill them, make Assad feel insecure.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZK2FZGKAd0
He is not just saying this because he wants to get some more airtime on TV, it’s what has happened and how the CIA works, with covert crazy and unpredictable actions. Also we know from Biden that the US would retaliate against the so-called ‘Hacking’ in ways that would not be obvious to the public but clear to Russia.
http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/301115-biden-vows-us-will-retaliate-against-russia-for-hacks
For you to just disregard all these comments when you must be aware of the internal uprising of part of the deep state against the White House, acting on its own devices to further its interests ( one of which is sour Russian – US relations even further) is frankly quite surprising to me. Or do you always apply statistical probability in order to convince yourself that something may or may not be true?
I am not saying this is what happened, but do you honestly think there would be any proof to us out here, if the message is meant to be sent to Putin and his inner circle of power alone? Do you think Putin would want the public to know? He’d have his people rise up in no time and demand retaliation, but as we all know he does not want war. Is there already a source confirming the reason of Churkin’s death? I haven’t seen one and the latest I read from an article posted 6 hours ago was this.
“Medical examiners who performed an autopsy on Russia’s ambassador to the United Nations said Tuesday that more tests are needed to determine how and why he fell ill in his office and later died.”
http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/874076/more-tests-needed-on-russian-un-ambassadors-cause-of-death
One last thing, you say this would mean war, well YES, Russia is already at war, albeit a dirty and covert one but one nontheless, and killing ambassadors would perfectly fit that pattern same as with the Olympics smear campaign and I expected this to be clear to you.
Pertinent comment, like many others here. Kremlin said he “died suddenly”. What use, for us spectators, in pretending this is just a coincidence? Time after time, the hidden hand strikes. No, I don’t think the perps can be pinpointed with proof.
Killing a diplomat is an act of war? Perhaps, but so what? How to react? A large-scale war in retribution would be incommensurate. And there is no risk of fictional ICBMs bringing fictional kookular warheads to the other side. No science, all fiction. Only used to impress the sheople (pic). Uncle Sam is a terrorist and he won’t stop his game. So how to react?
In the words of Ian Fleming: “Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action”
Beyond three times? You have to be pretty naive to believe in coincidence at that point.
No motive for such killings? Think again, Saker. The US/British/Mossad alliance has every reason to disrupt and to send a nasty little message to Russia. Just listen to Mike Morrell threaten Russia with the assassinations of people without Russia being able to prove anything – in other words constant micro-harassment all over the world, a constant reminder to Russia that the US can get to anyone it desires at any time it desires. He blatantly admits such a policy is realistic in the minds of these fanatics. So why your resistance to even consider such a possibility?
I suspect we will see several more ‘coincidences’ involving important Russian individuals over the coming months as the tensions rise. Sudden onset cancer, heart attacks, outright assassinations by third parties, suicides, etc.
“I suspect we will see several more ‘coincidences’ involving important Russian individuals over the coming months as the tensions rise. Sudden onset cancer, heart attacks, outright assassinations by third parties, suicides, etc.”
I hope not, because it will be very difficult to get proofs…
Actually, there is a kind of black joke in Brazil that is quite illustrative:
‘A man sees his wife and another man entering a hotel. Then, he sees the light of a room turning on, and eventually he sees them, through the curtains, going to bed and together under the covers… What does he do? Nothing; he then realises that he has no proofs of wrong doing since he could not see what happened under the covers!’
No evidence to bring to the table other than an observation from a spook many years ago.
Intelligence services seemingly don’t believe in coincidences…..
Once fair enough, twice maybe, three times never.
I would expect thorough and beyond forensically detailed investigations of all these deaths by the relevant agencies, but quietly.
Sorry Andrei
In the real life there are no such things as coincidence. Clearly there is a pattern evolving. That pattern and deaths need to be investigated closely. So each of the Russian diplomats involved had a role in creation of the bipolar or multipolar world, away from the unipolar world, Kadakin, for instance was involved in creating a clear gateway and a trade corridor between Russia, India, Iran, China and that would have covered Pakistan as well, to by pass the dollar engineered sanctions. (sanctions are effective only if trade is in dollars ). Clearly in attempting to sabotage this process there were clear beneficiaries. Recount some years ago, assasinations of Iranian scientists in what ostensibly appeared to be accidents. As to who benefits, your guess is as good as mine, probably the best. Still, it is not possible for those of us observing the emerging multipolarisation to dismiss the quick deaths as “coincidence”, unless proven. Caution is the watchword, and it is in these times that the world can afford to sleep with only one eye closed !
Saker, I’m respectfully disagreeing with you this time. I’m an old gringo living in Colombia since 1993. When I first moved here las FARC controlled half the country. Then Plan Colombia brought in experts from Amerika and Israel who first set up phony peace talks to lull las FARC into complacency while country-insurgency plans were put in place. Then the phony peace talks were broken off by the gov’t and las FARC came under attack. One after another of the FARC leaders and commanders were assassinated and under heavy attack the new inexperienced or lessor experienced leaders were forced to sue for a péace that amounted to a surrender.
These assassinations in the Donbass Republics are the same C.I.A.-Mossad program but they will not succeed there because Mother Russia is behind the Donbass ethnic Russians. Los FARC were isolated – different situation but same assassination pattern. This has happened in other countries too. In the case of the diplomats I’d like to see some evidence too but I’m deeply suspicious. Intelligence agencies have poisons that cause heart attacks etc. and leave no trace. And it’s not just these four diplomats – all of a sudden Russians are dying all over the place right after the Americans promised Russians going home in body bags. I repeat I’m deeply suspicious. If these are assassinations, they are designed to provoke and to kill any chance of peace between Russia and Amerika
This is one time I’d like to be proven wrong – better for everybody – but I’m deeply supicious.
Hasta Siempre Comandante – Pedro de Hungria
“Intelligence agencies have poisons that cause heart attacks etc. and leave no trace. ”
These were already used to eliminate some of those who were ready to testify or undergo interrogation with police in connectoin with JFK murder.
Quite a few witnesses, some of them dug up by investigators some years after the Warren Commission report, were silenced by such sudden death the day before they were scheduled to meet with police and answer tell what they knew.
Katherine
Saker
Respect and admiration to you. For many years, I have been and still am a Saker fan.
It seems I am one of the ‘clickbaiters’ you are ashamed of, who feel that the sudden increase in deaths of Russians diplomats is NOT coincidental.
I am a simple man but I have found the obvious counter-argument to your hypothesis of ‘shit happens.’ … If your statistical logic is sound, then, ergo, an EQUAL NUMBER of American/British/French diplomats should also have “simply died” this month to balance your equation. Well, they haven’t! In fact, we continue to be disappointed by the continuing existence of their living dead, like Soros, Kissinger, Albright, Blair and Hillarious Clinton!
Sorry Saker. I feel that by criticizing us plebs for not thinking objectively, you are not being objective. Just do the maths!
Fond regards
Ozskeptic.
Greeting to The Saker
I have been and remain a follower and Saker fan for many years. However it seems that I am one of those ‘speculators’ you are now ashamed of.
Your hypothesis, in a nutshell, is that shit happens and when a whole batch of Russian diplomats die in a month, it is just a ‘life/death statistic.’
The flaw with your hypothesis is that by the same argument, an equal number of American, British and French diplomats should have died. They haven’t. Even combining those three, the equation still doesn’t balance. None have died in years! In fact, most of us have given up on Soros, Kissinger, Blair, the Queen, Albright or Killery EVER dying!
Sorry Saker. Do the sums. It is you who are not being objective this time.
the real question being, did he have antecedants with regards to heart disease / heart failure or was he totally healthly and cleared from such pathlogy during his latttest medical checks?
What about the comments of Michael Morell, ex CIA Deputy Director? Isn’t this some form of intent? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qGPuSxuT6pM
my first thought was that Mossad began to play chess against russians with live chess “pieces”.
russians with their diplomacy are making outstanding job. for similar results anglo zionist should use thousands of tons of bomb. russian diplomacy is actually preventing global war. anglos constantly lose from russian diplomacy, not from russian weapons. yet. conspiracy is just theory without evidence. but it is stil theory.
This article by the Saker is kind of relieving. I really hope everything has been just a sad, and tragic coincidence. However, I have problems to forget CIA s Morell previous statements, meaning more or less hunting down Russians wherever they were.
ukraine seeking “any ” advantage-
as someone else said—synchronicity?
MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, who has called for stripping Russia of the veto power in the UN Security Council, should focus on addressing problems in his home country first, and not try to “better” the performance of international mechanisms, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a news briefing on Wednesday.

I had not checked for a while on these phenomenal coincidences, I thought they had stopped, but I just checked and noticed they keep going. Last one about 2 weeks ago, Feb 8. Haven’t checked how many in 2016.

With all due respect I believe FDR is closer to the truth when he said “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”
Other commenters have offered their excellent opinions as to why this deaths definitely have the stink of fishy operations, so I won’t repeat them here. I will only say that more such coincidences will occur, of increasing viciousness. It’s a game of chicken at this point: how much longer can Russia endure this humiliating provocations? The drunken bully consumed with a sense of his infallible power will continue to poke his intended adversary unabated until the punch is thrown.
What I don’t understand is why the bully has to wait for the adversary to launch the first punch. Why does the bully need the legitimacy of appearing the victim to justify engaging in a fight? At this point everyone knows the bully for what he is, and history has already made its judgement of the iniquity of the sad stupid monsters who run their crumbling empire.
Again, I’ll give my final 2 pence on this, were it not for the assassination of Karlov in Turkey & then other murders of diplomats, the one in Moscow – I forget his name, Sibel Edmonds has commented on that one, & not too long ago Mikhail Lesin who was definately murdered, then Churkin’s death may not have raised any suspicions. So yes, there is no evidence, but there is a context of such events that are developing. Occam’s razor is a fair enough point, but if you look at reality, certain deep seated truths are never that simple, especially in human affairs, especially in complex conflict situations. Carl Sagan made a valid point, but once again, the problem that we have in the world in which we live is that many truths are uncovered through indirect methods, often roundabout methods, so that a linear line of causality in any scientific inquiry only produces results when the cause & effect mechanism is linear, so to speak. Myself, like I said before, I haven’t concluded anything one way or another but I do find this somewhat suspicious.
When extraordinaire events happen, the astrologer asks: is there an extraordinaire
constellation prevailing?
If there are victims Pluto has to appear in the constellation like the Feb. 22.2014 in Kiew Horoskope of the week, see the image: (sorry Geman text only)
http://mundanestagebuch.blogspot.de/2014/02/17.html
Question: Pluto constellated this week? Answer: Yes.
Question: Why Russia: Answer, Pluto is in Capricorn, the “polar” sign. Russia is
the polar Civilisation per se, hence prime candidate for sacrifices.
If there is a constellation like such, there may be “evil in action” or “natural causes”
choosing it’s victims,.
Being in the crosshairs of a Pluto-constellation, are there kinds of merely symbolicly feeding the constellation?
We have to learn about that to become conscious about the crucial question of sacrifice in the construction of the comprehensive circle of life.
see more later about the week we are in.
Well I look at things different. I prefer to think men are trying to use the constellations to achieve their plan. They use numerology also. Lets take a look at some examples.
First of all, there was 555 days between 9-11 and operation desert storm ( second Iraq war). Also, the war started on the day of the spring equinox, the eve of Ostara. This is the constellation that was important that day for the planer of history. Also, Bush landed at 3:33 pm. Numerology again. I double checked it to be sure. The tweets at the bottom are happening around 3:45 pm. It works.

Careful use of the number “333” in landing on the Abraham Lincoln for his speech.
NEWS BRIEF: “Bush Arrives on USS Abraham Lincoln”, Scott Stearns, VOA News, San Diego, 01 May 2003, 19:33 UTC [15:33 EST, or 3:33pm]
Some people will say: they are all coincidences, there is no proof! Of course that is true. Except that one brave journalist asked the tough questions of Bush about his involvement with secret societies. He died of a heart attack not long after. You would think that he was a Russian diplomat or something.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwJDs1cg9Eo
Let us recall what any ME will tell you is true – that “heart failure” is what happens when you die. It’s a bs term, it explains nothing.
When Slim Pickens rode the bomb in Dr Strangelove, he died. yes? From heart failure.
When there’s a firefight and you get shot dead – you died from…heart failure.
Every single diplomat that ever lived and has died, died from…heart failure.
“Heart Failure” is what they say when they either do not know, or do not wish to say, precisely why the “heart failed”. It is a rhetorical term, not a scientific one.
No even marginally competent cabal bent upon murdering a series of men would even consider using identical, or even similar, methods, to achieve “heart failures” – unless they wanted to leave their calling cards…the fellas down at SCMODS have all sorts of infernal gizmos and chemicals…gee whiz, why is that?
It doesn’t matter anyway – it is clear that W3 is going to “go”. Clear that the disposition of forces and actions, projected against similar situations – clear that “IVAN” (that predictive computer) is crunching along sayin’ “test this and see what X does”…then “test this…” And clear that T Man is, at best, creating certain confusions in the chain of command, all that and more. eg he creates what Zhukov might have called “opportunities”.
Historians will (I hope!) argue the provenance of the diplomatic heart failures – but they are merely parts of the whole agora.
The war? It looks favorable for Ivan, just now, or very soon.
And what shape?
That’s unknowable – but best guess? Short, global, NATO is paralyzed, end. then, natural, the party starts…as victory and betrayal are twins.
I will say this again, war is proximate. NATO is going to fail, and be seen to fail. That’s fatal.
After that water flows downhill…
All that is a terrible thing to see, especially from me – who grew up in the glowing accolades of the end of the last one, grew up as a military cadet headed to Annapolis. Such a descent! Almost like a bizarre science fiction story, but dark beyond grief. I feel like I am watching America suicide.
I can only hope for the best. Pax.
Dear Saker,
You do realize a when a murder happens, it can be made to look like natural cause right?
Here is one example to do so:

Motive? Some of the commenters below have provided sufficient theories.
Sorry Saker, I respectfully disagree. Instead of a Y/N comment, I only want to say that the next such an “accidental” death will disprove your thesis. I have a feeling it’ll, unfortunately, come sooner than we can imagine.
Zionazis are attacking Russia on all fronts because its narrative is winning – as simple as that!
To me, this looks like 1941 in slow motion before the war.
I was reading the comments from Adam Garrie’s article on The Duran just now. One commenter is adamant that the Russians are behind these deaths, and he points out that the diplomats tend to die in Russia or in a Russian embassy. He was repeatedly attacked by other commenters who believe his perspective is absurd.
But – given The Saker’s reminder of the arrangement between the US and Soviets not to attack each other’s personnel… could we be witnessing the work of one or more traitors in Russia? Who are behind the deaths of the diplomats (or some of them, anyway?)
“and the retaliation would be terrible” — undoubtedly, I believe this is true. So if Churkin’s heart attack was orchestrated, whoever did it must have been very, very angry, like over the top furious, to even consider something this potentially suicidal.
“…Thanks to the current Ukrainian authorities, however, we are accustomed to the fact that someone in their country treats Russians, and anyone who refuses to dance to the pipe of Neo-Nazis, precisely like that,” Lavrov said.
“I know how the UNSC works. I have almost no doubt that [Ukraine’s] permanent representative would not have done this on his own. This means he was ordered to do it,” Lavrov elaborated.
Hmmm.
https://sputniknews.com/politics/201702211050890337-lavrov-press-conference-ukraine-un/
Lets avoid such innuendo:
Lavrov is referring to Ukraine’s blocking of a statement regarding Churkin, nothing related to speculations about the latter’s passing, which was the only substance of your comment. Take more care when quoting and relax.
I am relaxed.
Lavrov uses innuendo all — all — the time. It’s perfectly legitimate to speculate or raise a question about whether he is using innuendo in this instance as well.
It’s just the honesty remaining when taking for granted that Lavrov’s supposed innuendo should serve your speculation lacking any warning from you to your interlocutor. Put another way, misappropriating someone’s words, who, on top of it, impresses authority on the encompassing subject.
Another hmmm.
Vitaly Churkin was posthumously awarded The Order of Courage by the President of Russia. This is more a military award than the civil one and a natural death of a diplomat would be better suited to some other reward, for example, “For the Merits for the Fatherland”. The Order of Courage, if someone does not know or have forgotten, was posthumously awarded to the entire crew of the submarine “Kursk” (and we all know what really happened). Awarding Churkin posthumously with The Star of Hero of Russia, which was awarded to the ambassador to Turkey and to the pilot of a bomber shot down over Syria a year and a half ago, would mean to openly recognize the case as a murder. Awarding The Order of Courage is the recognition of that fact in not obvious way and at the same time an indication of the need to negotiate “compensation” (as was the case with Kursk).

Excellent point. I did not know this…
Churkin’s passing is a terrible loss, like many I will deeply miss him.
Given Saker’s usual rational analysis, i’m not surprised at all that the above is his opinion with respect to the event, we must certainly recognize material evidence otherwise is not known publicly. Yet i’m surprised at the intensity with which Saker is dismissing those raising suspicions (emphasis on suspicions).
Sagan’s phrase apply to “claims” not suspicions or hipotheticals, which can only be upgraded to such if indeed are pursued in search of supporting evidence. The level of discussion in this forum fortunately does understand the difference (generally, and in this particular case).
I understand the resort to Occam’s razor principle only when in presence of a plural equally sound and materially grounded explanations for the same phenomena, and when required to opt for one, preference is given to those which reduce complexity for further inquiry. There have been foul play or not in this event can only be determined materially, a logical argument alone will not come to rescue. Obviously the onus rests with those pursuing less natural explanations.
In credit to Saker’s heightened caution, we’ve reached a state in world affairs such that even if evidence is found in support of the suspicions, these for good and/or bad reasons will unlikely be made public. Keeping such speculations around become a waste of brain bandwidth. Alas, I can hardly help it, nothing is past those bastards, blame me for being suspicious and expressing it all you want, not for “claims” which at this point could only be void wherever they come from.
Dear Saker-
In your own words (as I recall) the only way the Empire (or whatever one prefer to call the entity) reacts is “doubling down”, and a hammer sees everything as nails by nature.
I do realize that the layers of deception in this case are legio, and the veils are numerous, but, he IS dead, isn’t he?
Next one would be lower level, and the one after that would be higher up IMO (with other distractions in between).
The loss of Vitalii Churkin is incalculable ATM in any part of Geo- Humanitarian- (long list, fill in the blanks) politics or whatever you want to call it.
Below is the link to my full version of this remarkable soul. I am truly sorry, that it is not as good as I really wanted it to be, but I have never been very good at Portraying the Good guys.
His death is a setback on so many levels that it is not very easy to comprehend, and even though that I did expect something like this to happen, it really hit me like a granite boulder.

Take Care
Kent
Thanks, Kent. Homage well done.
Ambassador Churkin worked for Russia and the human race benefited.
President Trump’s words indicated that VC was a valued partner on important issues shared among SC members.
He spoke clearly and many people understood his moral positions on many issues.
A good man is easy to distinguish.
Churkin was a very good man.
Russia’s loss is the world’s loss.
Yes, I agree. Nice picture, Kent. Mr Churkin will be missed…
Saker, I can’t speculate about this because I’ve never dug into cloak and dagger means of killing. Is it possible to give someone a heart attack or fast acting cancer, for instance, with little chance of it being discovered? Dunno. Of course, that was speculated when Andrew Breitbart dropped dead of a heart attack and was followed shortly after with the coroner who did his autopsy being murdered by poison so one really has to wonder.
Anyway, I think you under estimate how much things have changed in terms of agreed upon decorum. We’re witnessing the NWO/Soros/Obama/globalists engaging in open sedition in the US. With Brexit and nationalist parties/candidates gaining across Europe, you really think these globalists aren’t willing to do ANYTHING to save what they’ve created? Let’s not forget Obama’s threat that was made right before all these things happened, either.
Regarding the ambassador murdered in Turkey: What was the outcome in terms of retribution? I recall reading that the assassin had visited Iraq, in the vicinity of a CIA installation, just prior to the murder, whereupon his cell phone was turned off for seven hours. His phone records were also deleted by a third party about three hours AFTER he was killed. That all just screams an organized conspiracy with the USA being the primary suspect. Mind control of some fanatical takfiri assassin isn’t much of a stretch.
Also, while it didn’t involve diplomats, did anything ever come of the bombing of the passenger jet out Sharm el Sheik?
I agree with you that conspiracy can be a distraction. A site like this needs to stick to the provable and not get sucked into rabbit holes. However, that doesn’t mean these things don’t happen. I’ve seen too much evidence to the contrary (9/11 being a perfect example). There are lots of good conspiracy sites where these things can be discussed, in depth. You’re wise to stay away from it because it can become all consuming.
Whatever the case, it sure seems Russia has taken some serious hits recently.
There are countless ‘induction’ or ‘induced’ methods of committing murder, it is a topic that the conspiracy theory sector has unfortunately corrupted with a great deal of innuendo & exaggeration, but induced heart attack/failure is a method that is used through the use of drug cocktails. Slobodan Milosevic was murdered in the Hague through the use of a blocker-medication to prevent his actual medication from taking effect, which lead to his premature death. There is also – believe it or not – the microwave method of induced cancer, the NSA has been exposed to have such a devise that can be used to remotely increase radiation pulses from a PC/lap top. It sounds far fetched, but just do a Google search on Mossad assassinations, they are the masters of this sort of tactic & use it constantly.
Okay, then how would it have been done? How would someone inject something into Churkin or Breitbart without them knowing? I know there are lots of drugs that can kill instantly but the killer would need to be in physical contact with the victim and puncture their skin – unless said drug(s) could have been slipped into some food or drink which seems sketchy considering it might alter the taste.
With all of the diplomats and Andrew Breitbart I immediately thought of murder but unless it can be shown HOW it would be done I have to remain skeptical.
Oh, and this is for Saker: I find all of all of these deaths very demoralizing and think they DO have huge impact. Same for Motorola and Givi. I cried over Givi (the last straw for me) for 10 days (not kidding) and I’m an American in the US! Imagine the impact on those in the DPR & LPR. I don’t know how the loss of the diplomats, plus the planes, a pilot and the rescuer couldn’t be just as demoralizing for Russians.
Well said… This is certainly a war.
Veterans Today reported that the family of the top Syrian Shia Imam were murdered, then removed the article. Do you have any information on this?
Israel is attacking the Syrian army with war planes and the Russians apparently aren’t defending them. Alex Jones has Dr. Steve Pieczenik, self proclaimed leader of the Trump “Coup,” saying Israel and Saudi Arabia as our “new” allies. Trump’s war on ISIS is starting to look the same as Obama’s with Syria, Iran, and Russia now in the way.
Mmm, I made no comment, yet the thought did occur to me, however unworthy, that this might be murder. Evidence is not always easy to find, especially if the means were directed ULF or similar. Mr Churkin was most perceptive and experienced diplomat, so I would keep the file open on this. RIP Sir.
Vitalis, derived from Latin vitalis “of life, vital”. Vitalis was the name of several early saints and martyrs.
R.I P Vitaly Churkin
Pieces are being moved across a board that most do not see or understand. I think it would be prudent to wait a bit before coming to conclusions.
I personally think that the particular diplomats that are dying are not a coincidence, their postions hold significant importance.
For many of us with the anglo american boot at our throat the Death of Churkin was disheartening and demoralizing.
To see our Russian comrades walk circles around the fascists in the past few years has given us little people hope. With hope comes an energy to stand against the tyranny of the american empire.
I pray that our GRU friends will be safe in their endeavors to keep our friendly diplomats alive.
1. The US has roughly the same number of embassies and far more ‘diplomatic’ personnel spread across the globe. Why do I think that the only incident in the same time period was a shooting of a Consulate (not Embassy) employee? And that looked a lot more like a lover’s quarrel between homosexuals than something politically motivated. Not that that stopped them from instantly extraditing the shooter to the USA.
Let us assume a huge discrepancy in the simple number of dead diplomats.
What are the actual numbers? They must be available.
2. Add to that the call for Russian body bags by Kirby AND ex CIA don, Morell AND even some fat, stupid General on CIANN.
3. Add to that the assassination of Givi and Motorola, military heroes of NovoRossija.
And I believe several others died in recent weeks in that CIA-instigated and directed conflict.
4. Add the assassination of Putin’s driver in Putin’s limousine on the Moscow Ring Road.
It would appear, by remotely driven automobile. Captured on Traffic Control CCTV.
The CCTV forensic evidence alone, is conclusive. Whether there was a driver, or not, in the attack vehicle, is, I believe, unknown. That is telling in itself, if the evidence is being withheld.
5. Add the infiltration of CIA-directed terrorist squads from Fascist Nulandistan (formerly The Ukraine) which may have brought down the plane with the Red Army Choir. (several groups were interdicted but probably not all). Another irreplaceable national symbol gone. And the fact that we are not hearing much more about it is no proof of anything. It is sooner, proof of complicity by the mass-murderers of MH17 the CIA-directed and controlled Ukrainians.
6. Finally, add the claim that Churkin had ‘been with a woman’. In light of the assassination of Kim’s brother by two women, with an unknown substance on their hands, it is impossible to write off assassination at this time.
Circumstantially, this is a huge amount of evidence pointing to the the enemies of Russia.
We know who they are. But I am deeply surprised at the resistance of the alternate media to this mountain of information. What are you afraid of?
4. Add the assassination of Putin’s driver in Putin’s limousine on the Moscow Ring Road.
It would appear, by remotely driven automobile.
I don’t get this – why would Russia even allow such automatic automobiles on their roads at all?
Sounds like they are asking for trouble by inviting the enemy (Trojan horse) in the front door like that.
Surely they can’t be that stupid?
Of course, coincidences do happen.
And the fact that they never happen to the usual suspects is…. well, a coincidence.
I understand that there are no such things as coincidences. But I think you may be saying the same thing in a different way.
In fact, what pattern can you claim when you are faced with just four ambassadors’ sudden death in less than two month (plus another diplomat in Russia, plus Primakov, and let’s stop to the Foreign Minister personnel, otherwise we’ll have problem of space), all of them in hot and very hot spot, including Churkin, the most important diplomatic asset after Lavrov?
Come on, it happens all the time. Search the diplomatic history of any nation and you will see how many time it has happened…… I was not able to find a single occurrence, never, but it is notorious that I am such a lousy researcher.
And do not forget the terrible retaliation they would expose themselves – those fanciful assassins, I mean. They might very well say goodbye to the appellative “partners”…. Who would dare?
Move on! There’s nothing to see here…..
Hehe… I am not that good either; but at least I thought about that filthy Brazilian joke…
If the establishment in the West is looking to start WWIII, then Saker’s point no4 regarding “the cost [of] potentially a nuclear war” is not a cost but the prize.
Then we have also fulfilled Carl Sagan’s demand of “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence“, no?
Doesn’t the killer of the Turkish ambassador belong to the AKP, which is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood which the MI6 has created and thus serve London’s interests?
Incidentally — just a first stab at trying to find out the average age of US vs Russian ambassadors. I didn’t get very far, and gave up after a few minutes, but it may be significant factor, and whether a career or politically appointed diplomat needs to be taken into account, and so would many other factors. This is the sort of thing which would demand a full research project, with a comprehensive statistical workup — over many months perhaps, before one can get a conclusion regarding life span and death rate of foreign service people from and stationed to various nations.

The average age of an entering Foreign Service officer is 32, but the Foreign Service has “something for just about everybody,” requiring only that applicants are U.S. citizens between 21 and 59 years of age who pass the Foreign Service exam, Armbruster says.

First Time or Second (plus) Ambassadorial Posting
For approximately 74% of ambassadors, this is their first appointment. For 26%, or 29 ambassadors, they are currently serving their second, third, or even fourth appointment.

1. The average age of the ambassadors when joining the Foreign Service was 27.5 years, which is nearly five years younger than the average age of most new hires today at 32 (US News, 2012).

4. The age of the ambassador when nominated the first time ranges from 38 to 66, with an average age of 54.

5. The length in time it took the ambassador to be nominated ranges from 15 to 36, with an average time of 26.5 years.

Our ambassadors are clearly not all from the political cone, are not all the same age, and have a diverse background (you learn a little something after reading all their biographies).
This really does mean that whatever your background, aspirations, and interests upon joining the Foreign Service, you do have the potential of becoming ambassador (if this is what you aspire to be!).
I believe that a lot of them actually ‘buy’ their posts, quite literally, though there is a fig-leaf like large donations or fundraising.
Investigating how and how frequently they die may be more germane to this argument.
Trash like Teft (Russia) and Shapiro (Czech Republic ) come to mind.
Hopefully both gone by now.
Of course there’s Liberman – sp.? – in Israel.
An Adelson ‘purchase’.
Talk about timelines,
events taking place throughout the world is shocking. Nations being attacked should have timelines/dossiers of events taking place every time I.e, someone posted explosions taking place in China, the killings of Russian diplomats, so on. One is not able to see the extent of accidents, events every day and believe it is one day event. By putting it in timelines/dossiers, it is easier for people to visualize what is happening around the world.
You are witnessing the passing of the old Soviet trained school of diplomats.
Life expectancy in Russia has only reached 70 years for men in the last couple of years.
Churkin was 65. A good age for a Soviet diplomat. As he pointed out in a recent interview, diplomacy is today a stressful occupation because of the lies and half truths that the West bandies about.
While 9/11, Charlie Hebdo and the German Christmas market attacks were all clearly Mossad false flags, Israel has too much to lose in murdering any of these ambassadors.
The exception seems to be the Turkish shooting in the art gallery, but the more likely scenario is Al Qaeda/US. I think the committee is still out on this one but I am sure the FSB will uncover the truth sooner or later.
Yes. How dare anyone suspect the terrorist entity known as Israel?!
A state which was founded on terrorism and runs the Palestinian genocide/terror?
“Killing diplomats is useless. They don’t really take decisions but their symbolic value is immense. Thus the benefit for murdering them is zero”
Actually it can create psychological damage. It can depress people and bring out their paranoia. It could be used to impress upon the opposite side that they are defenseless and can do nothing about it – give them a feeling of hopelessness and the the world more controlled by the U.S. It sends a message that Russia cannot defend their own people properly, and things of similar nature. That Russians of caliber/note can be killed anywhere and anytime.
Kosovo, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, organ harvesting, UN investigation, George Webb, youtube, childtrafficing, pedophilia, Drugs, operation Phoenix, Douglas Valentine, Cia as a criminal organization.
Probably need to be a viet nam era person to get the connections.
This is not about politics, but is about globalist operations.
We are NOT anticipating something out of thin air.
We have many murder threats from Morell, Obama, Kirby, m.m. about killing Russians home in body bags.
We have 2 airplanes full of civilian Russians, famous military band, terror attacked plus.
But thanks for informing us Russia still knows how to revenge their brave citizens.
more data? http://www.theeventchronicle.com/intel/fbi-anon-returns-4chan/
Perhaps the internationalists are the real operators, eh.
We have a pattern of dead Russian diplomats.
We have Russia putting sand in the tank of the ruling elite, the Khazarian mafia. A group of “people” that have had an intense hatred of Russia since they were a band of gypsies traveling around robbing people in Kazaria.
We have the above mentioned mafia (that practice human sacrifice and cannibalism and obviously lack any human traits except posing in suites that resembles human bodies) that is up against the wall, i.e. in panic mode. They are irrational to begin with, that irrationality is multiplied by their present fear of loosing it completely.
We have a situation where these psychopaths are in dire need of any type of major conflict.
We have motive.
We have major western (and eastern) intelligence agencies completely controlled by the same people, thus we have an actor with necessary resources for clandestine assassinations.
It’s very obvious what is going on. Russia, for sure understands what is going on. They are provoked on all fronts and thank God they are able to keep a cool head.
Since Russia don’t let itself to be provoked into an action that can be sold to the brainwashed sheep as a direct act of aggression, the natural consequence of this would be for the psychos to, in a not distant future, stage a major CBRN false flag and blame Russia. My guess is that Occam would agree to that.
What is very confusing to me is why The Saker, whose analytical mind I have great respect for, has so quickly taken such a staunch stand against the possibility of these deaths being more that coincidence, even to the point of referencing the humbug Sagan.
It’s another variable to add to to the great puzzle.
Another very weird aspect of this is that the assassination video from Turkey has discrepancies. The shooter was very close, at a range of 2-3 meters, but there was no muzzle flashes and no muzzle gas. With so many shots fired in a relatively closed environment there should have been noticeable amounts of gas particles recorded on the video. When the distinguished diplomat was on the floor there were no signs of blood, anywhere. What happened there actually?
Statistical evidence is powerful; how many more diplomats will die before ‘Six Sigma’ limit of coincidence or plain chance is passed? Of course there is no evidence, no clues left… any possible evidence is meticulously hidden, by professionals.
I wouldn’t know how to even begin figuring a standard deviation for these events, much 4 or 5 S out. In any case, all you get is a probability based on assumed data and methods. One never has a limit where coincidence is passed — just an increase in confidence level. I’m pushing 70 and never had a day where I died, but it’s certain that eventually I will — it’s just a matter of increasing probability as time passes, but even kids die.
But let’s say we decide they were assassinations even without hard evidence — then what? What can be done about? One can take extra precautions even with no suspicion at all, and it’s good to be cautious even in anticipation of a possibility — like wearing some armor when going outside, or carrying emergency medication, or increasing security, and that can be done without fanfare or deciding what has happened.
But then what? Make accusations at the UN, saying they were all murdered? Try to assassinate other nation’s diplomats? Stop sending diplomats to other countries and close the embassies?
What should be done? If there is no action to be taken then it’s pointless to stop investigating and decide on a conclusion. It’s like a hunter aiming a rifle at a deer when he has no bullets in it. Not only likelihood of past events need to be considered, but likelihood of the consequences of various actions taken or things said, and how one’s credibility would suffer (look at how ridiculous the West looks by asserting the Russians are hacking everything, and that they invaded Ukraine).
translate ‘much 4 or 5 S out’ ->
‘much less 4 or 5 SD out’
I’ll blame the cat sitting on my lap…
BTW, knowing stuff but not saying it has been typical (conservative) in Russian diplomacy for a while now — maybe to trot it out when they judge the time is right.
