On a tour-group trip to Russia in July 2014, just when relations with the U.S. were getting bad publicly, three separate small groups of two or three ordinary Russians, in Moscow, Suzdal in the Golden Ring, and St. Petersburg, after they saw I could speak Russian fairly well, all said the same thing, almost like a mantra (in English): “Stalin no doubt did bad things, but he beat the Germans and freed the Church.” That seemed to be the prevailing opinion at the time. I’d guess Grover Furr’s analysis, published in Russian with Bobrov, may be changing the Russian outlook toward Stalin also. Also the revelation from secret Soviet archives (cited improbably in the Dec. 2016 National Geographic) that the total Soviet executions during the Stalin years was 1.2 million, about 700K of them during the Yezhovshchina, a small fraction of the 20 to 60 million Robert Conquest claimed, and Solzhenitsyn repeated.

Zion doesn’t mind its assets like Joe Rogan or Abbie Martin criticizing Israel’s Palestine policy. On the contrary, it’s part of the script. Remember, the ‘bad guys’ in puppet shows and Hollywood movies are are payed by the the same production company as the good guys.

“Jewish History, Jewish Religion” by the late Israel Shahak has even crazier stories about Orthodox Judaism. The author begins the book with the story of how he became interested in this subject. He witnessed a Palestinian man having a seizure in Jerusalem and went to a Jewish home and asked to use their phone to call an ambulance. The homeowner denied this request, saying that phones could not be used on the Sabbath to save the life of a gentile. So Shahak writes Israel’s rabbinical council, asking their opinion on this question. They agree with the homeowner; the phone should not be used unless doing so endangers the life of a Jew by making gentiles angry. This book is mostly anecdotal.

The I was always rather a strange bedfellow with the other three, B, R and C. It is not as though India’s nehruvian flirtation with socialism, her affinity towards the USSR and her central role in the NAM are only recently abandoned. The Indian state has globalising, waging a war against her poorest, experimenting with neoliberal reform for a long time, at least 20 yrs, coupled with a rising tide of hindutva ideology. The rot had set in much earlier, even at the height of the NAM period, with the green revolution. Nevertheless, the R and the C were entirely right, nevertheless, to encourage the sense of belonging and clubbiness in the BRIC meme.

At one level (the economic), the S is utterly insignificant. South Africa was always a token gesture, to give the African continent a face at the table. However, that choice made no sense economically, demographically, geopolitically (well, the latter only marginally, in terms of Good Hope’s insurance against Suez). But in terms of the economy and her population, SA is a tiny silvery minnow to the gargantuan whale shark of Nigeria and the enormous giant squid of Egypt.

Nigeria currently 7th most populated country in the world, projected push USA off Bronze Medal position before 2050.

Even “BRIC Man” Jim O’Neill professed (at the Durban Summit) that he could see no sense in SA being at that table, so insignificant was she on the global scale. Mexico, Indonesia, South/United Korea, Turkey and several other countries were far ahead of SA and likelier fifth members.

At another level, the S, like the I, represents something of a Evil Empire/Globalist trojan horse into the BRICS. Just how thoroughly yoked SA is to the USA plough is an under-explored topic.
