    HI Saker
    saw the news
I think it is a bad move on one hand, but, on the other hand it could be used to by time….
    sigh…

Now what if the opposition trio have lost control of their rioters? As in fact may be the case.

I just heard that Yanu has replaced all his top military commanders. Not sure what that means, but I still think he may be setting the opposition up to be taken down.

He would have to do this because I suspect the army is split in it’s views. Yanu has to create a situation where most of the army feels like it has to restore order and is not simply supporting one side of the conflict over the other.

By repeatedly backing down, Yanu definitively looks weak. But he also looks like the one trying hard to avoid conflict.

I’m just guessing (perhaps just hoping) that his idiocy is disguise for a real plan.

Also, a commenter at moon of Alabama posted that the Ukraine defense minister is not taking calls from Chuck Hagel, who was looking for assurances that the army wont get involved.

Also, with Russia withholding further aid, there is a run on Ukrainian banks.

    @Penny & Lysander:

First, forget about the Ukie military. It only exists on paper. The very best it could do is try to protect its immense weapons stores to fall in the hands of the insurgency, but they seems to be failing even at that. No, the only punching power capable forces in the Ukraine are the various interior ministry forces, cops, and possibly a few SBU units. Oh and a tiny paratrooper force and God only knows with whom they could side. Also, since Ukie independence, all the real patriotic and capable officers were purged and obedient lackeys were put in their place. I would say that any Ukie officer with a rank over Colonel is probably a doormat. At the Colonel and under level there might be good people, but with no real power.

As for the banks, yes, they are going to suffer. Medvedev has made it very clear: Russia will ONLY assist the Ukraine if a stable and responsible government is in power. Considering that this imbecile of Yanukovich has now offered to form a government of national unity, I don’t expect much Russian money to flow in.

Finally, I think that there is something like a 90% chance that the nationalists will not abide by any agreements. They know that going to the urns is impossible for them, they are sure to lose. So their only option would be to declare the elections “stolen” (the usual US trick), but why keep Yanukovich in power until next Fall? I think that a much better tactic would be to gather the Parliament without the participation of the Party of Regions and simply appoint a new government. At this point who would stand for the protoplasmic moron? Nobody, of course!

I think that it is time to follow the lead of the eastern and southern regions of the Ukraine (see my latest post about that) and simply forget about Yanukovich. He basically is irrelevant at this point.

    Cheers,

    The Saker

The three tribal mates Nuland,Kagan & Pyatt´s and of course, NATO´s Stormtroopers the Nazis, wont of course agree to anything, why would they? They got everything they ever wanted and then some.

Nobody controls these freaks now, i expect the hapless Uncle Tom in the White house start talking about finding “moderates” among these rats any minute, duly parroted by the EUrofags.

Russia, for it´s own benefit too, should meanwhile assist Odessa, Kharkov and Crimea, should they request it, to keep the hordes off their territories.

I read an analysis yesterday that estimates that about 80% of the Ukr armed forces are loyal to Yanukovich. But their use would almost certainly result in civil war.

Living in Western Europe I fear many Russians hate me by now!

But we are not all mindless sheep!

I do think that by now, it is time to apply the same masterful strategy pres. Putin uses in Syria (according to my perception): tit for tat, on a small amount of steroids!

Which means giving mrs FY Nuland some crackers of her own (make a budget for counterpropaganda) in E. Ukraine.

@Anonymous:Living in Western Europe I fear many Russians hate me by now!

Don’t! The good news is that, unlike during the Cold War, a lot of Russians travel abroad and they met people from everywhere. Thus, they know that while there are a lot of real degenerates and russophobes in Europe, there are also a lot of decent sane people. I don’t sense any anti-European sentiment in Russia at all, at least not against the people. There is definitely a disgust with the way the Europeans have caved in to the homo lobbies and all the sick crap around that but, again, the Russian TV channels do a very good job explaining to the Russian audience that this is a thing cooked up by the elites and imposed on the majority of sane people. As for the Kremlin, everybody there fully understands that there is no democracy in Europe and that the EU is a US protectorate. So please, do not worry about Russians hating you, because they really don’t, I am sure of that :-)

For a while I entertained some hope that Yanukovich had been using a “judo” tactic by appearing conciliatory and compromising, and mentioned that possibility here. I even considered the possibility the recent high level sackings were a sign Yanukovich’s government was finally about to act like a real government. But I think it’s quite clear now that Yanukovich intended to give in to the ziofascist terror all along.

Question is why? Corruption? Sold out to the zionists/NWO fascists? As Rozoff explained in an interview I posted here earlier, one one gives in to zionazi demands, it only creates more room for the sods to demand more, and they always do (exactly like Israel does in it’s dealings – a very zionist Jewish strategy – which is why negotiation with zionists is always ultimately futile if the results of the negotiations are the goal).

With that knowledge of what is being dealt with, there is a possibility Yanukovich’s behaviour is designed to help facilitate a Ukraine split. The east probably has no choice now but to go independent from the west, if they want to avoid the sort of bigoted persecution swing to fascism that is going on in the Baltics. Not confronting the fascists in the west, and just letting them run amok, saves eastern lives. Considering all the trouble the people of the western part of the country cause, it would makes sense to pursue a political strategy designed to cut them loose. And do so in a manner that will isolate them, and their apparent inherent fascism, from the east to keep the rot from spreading.
