I tend to agree with you. I have known about that guy since the mid-80s and he always seemed utterly arrogant and above the fray. He is also a known sex offender by most French pundits and politicians, but no one seemed to care. Today in the French gvrt. there is an avowed pedophile and he is cultural affairs minister….most French politicians brag about the number of mistresses…

There is indeed something extremely odd in this whole case, i sincerely hope that the truth will eventually be outed in this alleged incident.
If indeed Krauss-Kahn is as promiscuous as these reports are suggesting, surely he would have sought the company of an escort or a prostitute, especially in New York. Why would an extremely intelligent man commit career and political suicide by assaulting a hotel maid? This story has a long way to go yet.
Entrapment would suggest that the hotel maid acted seductively, and the people who set it up knew that Strauss-Kahn’s typical response would be to respond to the seduction. This is a very ancient CIA skill, used against umpteen people they entrapped, including MLK. We dont even know whether the maid ever resisted what happened..the whole thing could have been consensual. Strauss-Kahn’s reaction suggests someone who knows he has been trapped, knows that whatever he says will be doubted, and knows that the “proof” has been stacked against him. That is how CIA entrapment works.

A CIA set-up is possible, but unlike those on the web who are insistent that it happened, I would want much clearer evidence, and there’s the rub…if this was a set-up, there wont be clearer evidence. So the only thing I am confident about is that the official story is untrue and in some way a cover-up. I think it is unlikely that something that is so convenient to Obama and Sarkozy, close allies, would have just happened like that at such a convenient time. We have already seen their capacity to disseminate huge lies to justify their attack on Libya.
