I hear contradictory reports about the situation of Donetsk airport ranging from “airport 90% in Novorussian hands” to “airport taken”. Whatever may be the case, I believe that there is a pretty good chance that the Novorussians are correct when they say that airport will be taken this week-end. I took a quick look at the militarymaps.info site to get the latest report and this is what I saw:
There are combats taking place right now (5PM Moscow time) but most of the airport is in Novorussian hands. Furthermore, the Ukies have been pushed back just barely enough to make it very hard, if not impossible, for them to resupply their buddies at the airport. In fact, Novorussian soldiers interviewed in the Russian social media say that every time the Ukies try to send in a resupply convoy it gets destroyed. The AngloZionists are also apparently preparing for the loss of the airport: they are currently discussing the imposition of more sanctions on Russia is the airport falls to the Novorussians. Very stupid and yet oh so typical of these arrogant and clueless bureaucrats.
But the really interesting thing in all this is the Ukie behavior. Try to make sense of that:
What the Donetsk airport reveals about the Ukrainian forces
For *months* now the Ukie forces at the airport have been resisting in very hard conditions, often completely surrounded and very rarely resupplied. The Novorussians have offered them innumerable times to do what most other Junta forces did: leave through a corridor. But the folks at the airport refused. Sure, the (previously) ultra-modern Sergei Prokofiev Donetsk airport gave them a lot of very strong buildings and plenty of underground tunnels and facilities to hide, but their conditions there were not made much easier by that: they have been shelled, submitted to sniper fire, attacked by special commandos and basically starved and one can only imagine their morale considering that the chances for victory or even evacuation were close to zero. And yet they resisted with a fierce determination. According to one Novorussian source, over 1000 Ukies have already died in and around this airport.
Why? Why did they resist that way?
Did that airport really have such a strategic meaning?
The answer is no, not in the least. One silly notion was the the Ukies were holding on to the airport to prevent the Russians from using it to land their forces in Donetsk. This is laughable for several reasons. First, the Russians can land a fully mechanized airborne division anywhere, they don’t need an airport for that. Second, if the Russian military wanted to take that airport, it could do that in a few hours (more about that later). But most importantly, why in the world would the Russian bother landing in a contested airport when they could land in Lugansk or even simply drive from the border?! So no, the control of this airport does nothing to prevent a mythical Russian invasion.
Does the airport have some other strategic meaning? Does it allow to control Donetsk maybe?
The answer again is, no, not at all. In fact, if we look at what the Ukies have actually been doing from that airport we come to the most baffling “mystery” of it all: for months now the Ukies at the airport have submitted the city of Donetsk to completely random and indiscriminate fire. The kid of fire which kills civilians and destroys buildings, but which will have exactly zero impact on the Novorussian Armed Forces (NAF). And when I say zero I really mean zero. Let me explain.
The Ukies do not have the reconnaissance/intelligence capabilities to track the movements of NAF units inside Donetsk. Nor do they have correctors which could correct artillery fire. Furthermore, while the Junta Repression Forces (JRF) forces to the northwest of the airport can, maybe, provider fire support to the Ukies in the airport, the artillery in the airport itself is useless because the NAF forces are too close for that kind of artillery to be of much use. Besides, the JRF have a few (2?) tanks and mortars to do that. So the only possible use for the Ukie forces at the airport is to try to terrorize the people of Donetsk. This is simply mind-blowing, but it appears that 1000 or so Ukies were killed in months of heavy fighting for the sole purpose of killing civilians. Yes, it does sound absolutely crazy, but that is because it is absolutely crazy.
Now, it is true that the Ukie “Minister of Defense”, Valerii Geletei, is an incompetent clown. A former cop turned state security official turned military (literally overnight), he is the guy who claims that Russia used nukes in Lugansk, the guy who “signed” his pledge of service with a closed pen and the guy who has just shown WW2 era ammo as proof of a Russian invasion. He is hated and despised even by the Ukies. I an see that guy giving the order to “keep killing civilians until all of you are dead”, but why in the world are the Ukies at the airport following such an idiotic order?
Finally, consider that one of the few good aspects of an otherwise very controversial ceasefire was precisely to freeze the conflict more or less along the current line of contact and get any surrounded units out with no more blood spilled. And several Ukies units used this chance to get out of some rather desperate looking situation. The JRF even unilaterally withdrew from some contested villages. Except for the crazies at the airport who, instead of getting the hell out of Dodge, decided to dig in, stay and keep on terrorizing civilians.
I might be mistaken here, and I would appreciate any insights into this from you, but the only explanation I have for the apparently insane behavior is that these Ukies have been terminally brainwashed. They are like the SS in 1945 who screamed “Heil Hitler” while standing in front of a Soviet firing squad. Just like the SS, these guys apparently believe that their “honor is called loyalty” and they are apparently willing to fight to their last breath for the opportunity to terrorize civilians. Those Ukrainians who fought for Saur Mogila at least could tell themselves that they died in a battle for the control of the critically important southern edge of Novorussia. But to die for the Donetsk airport is either to die for nothing, or to die for the capability to kill civilians. Crazy and scary stuff.
What the Donetsk airport reveals about the Novorussian forces
There is another thing about this airport which strikes me as important. For months the Novorussians could not take it. Granted, this was a tough objective to seize and one could even argue that the NAF was stretched thin by more important combats elsewhere – both arguments are true – but still that does not explain why they could not take that airport.
There is one fact which civilians are always unaware of and which even military people often fail to realize: all military forces are good when they are winning. Let’s me explain: when a battle starts and, say, side A gets the upper hand and begins beating or pursuing side B, the actual performance of side A is almost always good. It is exceedingly rare for a military force to show incompetence, poor training or make mistakes while engaged in the pursuit of a retreating enemy. This also means that you cannot judge the effectiveness of a force by seeing how it performed in a battle it won. The key criterion to measure the combat effectiveness of a military force (from the foot solider up to the commander) is whether it can turn the tide, whether it can fight well while retreating, whether it can take a severe beating and then successfully mount a counter-attack. That is something only a truly effective force can do.
I think of the Afghan insurgents who showed superb capabilities against the Soviet military (especially the Tadjiks in the north). Everybody had assumed that as soon as the last Soviet solider would leave the insurgents would simply enter Kabul in a matter of hours. It took them three years!
Urban offensive operations are one of the most difficult tasks any military force can be given and even a force which performs superbly in the countryside can completely fail in an urban environment, especially against a determined defender.
The NAF did turn the tide and from a situation where the JRF almost surrounded Donetsk and cut off Donetsk from Lugansk. The NAF very skillfully used the fact that the JRF was “hugging the roads” to let them in, then surround them, then cut them off and then destroy them. But this was defensive operation. Furthermore, they got *a lot* of help from Russia including not only “voentorg”, but also direct fire support from across the Russian border. Then the Ukies ran. Their retreat was a total disaster, a botched and chaotic retreat in which the JRF truly showed how poor of a military force it was. But we must not mistake the military incompetence of the Ukies for a proof that the NAF is a very capable force on the offensive. The fact is that we don’t know how good the NAF would be in an offensive operation, especially against a determined defender. The case of the Donetsk airport is rather unique and does not prove that the NAF could not do well, but it should at the very least give some pause and reasons to think to those who believe that if not for the ceasefire the NAF would have liberated Mariupol or the rest of Novorussia. Furthermore, if we accept the argument often made by the Novorussians that they could not get the needed forces to the airport because they were stretched thin and needed these forces in other directions, then what does it tell us about what would happen of the NAF indeed did advance on several fronts as it appeared to be doing just before the ceasefire was signed? Do those who today deplore that Mariupol was not take realize that all the best units of the NAF had already been allocated to this task and that they were all far away from the rest of Novorussia? To those who are so upset about the ceasefire I have a basic question:
If all the best NAF forces were allocated to the battle for Mariupol, what NAF forces would have remained available in case of a Ukie attack from the north? IF that had happened how “thin” would the NAF forces around Donetsk and Lugansk have been?
I know that I will not get an answer to those who have accepted as indisputable the thesis that the NAF could have taken Mariupol and freed the rest of Novorussia (nevermind those who believe that the NAF could have taken Kiev). For them, the botched Ukie retreat from Novorussia is a clear proof that the Ukie military was finished and that total victory was at hand. And nevermind the Donetsk airport.
History cannot be re-written and we shall never know for sure. But as long as one can make a plausible argument that the ceasefire was signed just about at the perfect time for NAF – at the peak of its success – then there is no need to assume that all those who are not categorically opposed to that ceasefire are all traitors, agents of Surkov or any other kind of nasty nonsense which the hurray-patriots have been spewing on those who do not share their opinion. In my opinion the battle for the Donetsk airport clearly shows that the NAF was already stretched thin and that it is far more skilled in rural defensive operations than in offensive urban ones..
The Saker
Pondered this thought today:
Putin is creating a cauldron for his enemies. All the political machinations in Ukraine by Surkov and the oligarchs might be to fully expose and entrap them in a political cauldron from which they can’t escape.
Certainly, the “double cross” some people think is in process which would cede to the Junta any control over East Ukraine is bogus. Putin would lose the armed forces (there are Major Generals on the ground in Donetsk). Blood of regular paratroopers has been shed, also. Putin would never invest a drop of Russian blood and not take a hundred pound of flesh from Ukraine.
Therefore, I suspect (just a hunch based on how he operates against enemies) that he has herded together the fifth columnists and the Ukraine oligarchs into a cauldron. He will dispatch them when the timing is perfect.
He also hasn’t allowed the refugees to return merely to be killed. Implicit in their return is the notion that they will not be shelled again. Of course, shelling continues, but when the Ukies, for whatever reason and whenever they decide or forced by the Hegemon to restart the war, Putin will unleash Russian military hell on the Junta and finish it off.
The internal Moscow threats from the criminal oligarchs outside Russia and inside Russia will also soon be severely dealt with. Putin is dealing with Syria and Iraq. He has serious economic challenges to manage. Novorossiya is a minor issue now. Very manageable. Russia has blunted the military threat from NATO on the ground and in the future of Ukraine. The European nations who fear Russia and are working against friendship now have to spend billions more on their own defense. Russia meanwhile is well under way to building double the size of it weapons forces and upgrading all its systems to next generation.
Putin is way ahead on every front. Trade, military, alliances, strategies and logistics. His mind and hand are felt in the Middle East, in Far East, the Arctic, Central Asia, the Baltics, Latin America and the NE Asia-Japan Sea regions.
With China in cooperation and some coordination the geopolitical game has changed forever. The Hegemon always has Chaos as its weapon. But Putin has created space for Russia to rise and the means for Russia to prosper.
Do not underestimate VV Putin. Do not misread tactics for strategy and maneuver for surrender. I have said this is not Chess. This is GO.
The West plays Chess. Asians play GO. The turn to Asia for Russia is recognition of the higher order of GO as a model for global strategy.
One thing is certain. We all want to know the roll call of the Ukrainian Air Port force. They shelled Donetsk for months, killing many and proving they had no fear of being captured in battle. If the force had western mercenaries, which is 100% sure, it is most likely that they slipped out in return armored supply convoys. Those left? Ukrainians only perhaps. The fight to the death, because they are proven war criminals now, for their shelling of civilians. So what mercy do they expect? None. Fighting to the death seems their only option.
Some people have asked about the west side of the Donetsk area being under Ukie control. And how that makes taking the Airport fully, impossible.I’ve been reading on blogs that that is the next NAF task.To clear that area.So hopefully that can be done very soon. That should make the Airport and Donetsk itself more secure from Ukie attack.

I am reminded of an enlightening moment I had many decades ago in reading about a Cognitive Psych experiment involving chess players. A number of ranked Masters and Grand Masters (IIRC) were flashed slides of boards in various states of play for a few milliseconds and their task was to reproduce the board as precisely as they could. The results were, prima facie, counter intuitive…
– Masters reproduced the flashed boards with a high degree of accuracy.
– Grand Masters almost uniformly failed to come close.
On analysis, it turned out that the Grand Masters were not just “mistaken” or suffering from poor cognitive skills. They saw something that the Masters were simply not looking for. The Grand Masters were not as interested in the pieces and their locations as they were in the strategic balance their placement represented. They were looking “through the pieces” to a different plane, and so they created (reproduced) a board that was the strategic equivalent using a seemingly arbitrary arrangement of pieces.
That’s what I think we have here. While us wannabee Masters tease out where the pieces are, we utterly miss the strategic balance and its development. As you say, this ain’t just a mini war, isolated from the sweep of grand strategies being played out between an existing world order and its replacement. This mini war we’ve been infatuated with is but 1 cog in a vast complex mechanism being turned on a planetary scale. It happens to be critical in the near term, but there’s lots of turning going on, and to follow.
BTW, Joaquin Flores says that the Donetsk airport was the base for death squad operations by mostly foreign professionals. The goal of these operations is (was) to drive a wedge between NR and its supporters, and Russia. Knowing that Russia would not invade, promoting the “Russia has betrayed NR” meme was the goal of the atrocities we’ve seen. IOW, “provoking Russia” to invade was but a surface meme. The deeper strategy was to drive wedges into the Russian psyche and undermine the Russian spirit and to damage confidence in the Russian leadership. As we’ve seen from the comments of Strelkov, ElMurid, et al the strategy was not without merit.

Now Western imperialism is reshaping the region again, at a horrendous cost to the local population.
The Empire is ‘experimenting’. It uses ‘trial and error’ tactics. ‘We created the Syrian opposition and now let us see what will happen. The ‘opposition’ mutates into a militant regional force, which dares to cross our interests? Let’s bomb it and let’s also arm the Kurds so they can form their own, pro-Western state, in the middle of the region. Let’s see how it goes… Once we are on the move, we can also, perhaps, overthrow al-Assad… And who knows, maybe we can also find a reason to invade Iran.’
The Empire is using people as if they were guinea pigs. There is no consideration for the well being of the Arab population, there is no respect for human lives. All basic human rights chapters are being violated; most of the Geneva Convention clauses are spat on.
The world is so conditioned, so shackled, that this latest attack is being accepted without any major protests or debates.
If questions are being asked, publicly, then there are no essential questions. Entire debate is twisted. It is presumed that the West is doing right thing, that it is defending the world against terrorism.
It is also accepted by a great majority of people and countries, that the Empire enjoys absolute impunity, that it is above the law, that there is no international body that can challenge it, or to make it reverse its devastating and destructive course.
The West has finally reached the highest level of ‘freedom’. It is a freedom for itself – a terrible freedom to play with the world as if it were a ball, a cheap and insignificant thing.

Part 1
Frankly I’m tired of reading (not so much here) about worries over the EU and NATO reaction to the War in Novorossii. If the soldiers on the ground worried about outside reaction in war, over everything they do,no war’s would be won.And most especially if the criticism is from their enemies supporters. The NAF should just do what they need to do and worry over the fallout later.
As for Russia. They need to get it though their heads that the sanctions and the NATO war on Russia is a done deal. The West isn’t going back on them. The sanctions aren’t coming off,and they will probably get more. The dream of splitting Europe from the US for the foreseeable future,is just that,a dream. Russia needs to man-up and deal with it.Clean out their traitors and move on.If Putin throws his friends in Novorossii to the wolves the Russian patriots need to replace him.And they then can clean the traitors out and move on.
A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush the saying goes.Well right now the NAF has the momentum on their side. That’s the bird in the hand.In a civil war between men with momentum and a reason to fight.Fighting an enemy in disarray without faith in their cause. Those with the faith win. There is a great difference in the two fighters attitudes. And if Russia doesn’t screw the NAF they will win this war.Right now the numbers are around 2-1 for the junta. But the NAF is gaining volunteers while the junta is scrapping the bottom of the barrel to keep their numbers.
Part 2
.I’ve been doing an unscientific survey of opinions in Ukraine.I’ve read a report from an anti-Putin blogger saying that even he thought the Putin was right about fascism in Ukraine. And that from what he heard while there in Ukraine, they were in civil war and people hated the junta in the Southeast.I’ve talked to people in neighboring Oblasts to Donetsk. And they say a lot of people support the NAF but are afraid of the secret police and neo-nazis.And most important I’ve monitored the VK accounts of people in Ukraine. And have been selective with it.Mostly men of fighting age and from the Southeast and from the West Ukraine.I’ve found quite a few ignore the war totally. The ones that don’t,are a mixed bag. Some in the freed areas of course favor, or even are part of the NAF.Those in the occupied areas of the Novorossii Oblasts are split between neutral,or from posts and sites they visit (even some in the police and army) are sympathetic to the NAF.Or at least anti-junta.And then of course some in the military or police are pro-junta or actually neo-nazi themselves(though those are the minority). As I said unscientific. But when you see what people think and feel its pretty accurate.I have the opinion that unlike what many believe, the junta can be beaten. And if the NAF can get into the occupied Oblasts they could free them.During the American Revolution,Historians say only 1/3 supported the Revolution at first.Another 1/3 was pro-British,and 1/3 was neutral, supporting whoever was winning.I think that is pretty much the situation in the Southeast (Novorissii) today. If the NAF can continue to win and move forward. The neutral people will turn to them. After the coup,US funded polls showed 80% of people in the Southeast Oblasts didn’t accept the coup and junta as legitimate. And the average of voting in the Southeast for the Presidential election was only around 50% with some occupied Oblasts less than 50%.And that’s by regime figures,if we can trust them.We could be at a historic moment here, the birth of a new nation. It would be a crime against history if Russian betrayal is what keeps the “humpy dumpty” of “Ukraine” together. It was always an artificial construction. All the language and voting maps show that. And now is the chance for justice to be done. After Novorossii is liberated they can decide if they want to reunite as equals with a non-junta rump Ukraine or not.But first thing is for them to be freed. What they need from Russia is the arms and volunteers. What the Russian people want to give them anyway. The polls I’ve seen in Russia, oppose direct intervention but support aid.Which is what the NAF needs, not troops, but aid.
Some say that Russia is worried about losing influence in Ukraine. But with the junta in power Russia has no influence in Ukraine.Even if Russia keeps a mini-state of 1/3 of Donetsk and Lugansk that isn’t real influence in Ukraine. Its the eternal loss of Ukraine. While if the NAF wins,Russia at once has influence in half of Ukraine. And that win will seal the defeat of the junta in the other half of Ukraine. And its replacement by at least a neutral,or even pro-Russian government. And certainly the NAF would exterminate fascism in Ukraine by time the war is over. And if they choose a federal reunite,or not Ukraine would never join NATO.While with Novorossii as an Independent country,or as a Republic in a Federal United Ukraine the North of the Black Sea would never see a NATO base. And Crimea would be safe.Compared to what Russia could gain from ditching Novorossii to the junta its a mother-lode for Russia.I’m just not sure with all the backstabbing and complicated treachery around that anyone is able to see the forest for the trees in Moscow. Its really not that complicated,sanctions-not coming off,EU-not siding with you,NATO-bad,Junta-bad,Novorossii-good,that’s all they need to think on.
These are some of the recommendations of a Thomas Theiner published at Euromaidan Press
http://euromaidanpress.com/2014/04/13/plan-b-flatten-belgorod/
Plan B: Flatten Belgorod
Excerpt:
The government in Kyiv should announce that Ukraine will take these 6 steps within the next 72 hours:
Destroy all gas pipelines & bomb the Belarusian gas pipeline, thus launching the boycott of Russian energy that the West has refused to undertake until now.
Flood Ukraine with small arms by arming every patriotic citizen to unleash a massive guerrilla war when Russian forces invade.
Provide guerrillas with Anti-tank Guided Missiles, Man Portable Air-defense Missiles, mines, explosives and everything else in Ukraine’s arsenal to ensure the guerrillas can resist effectively for years.
Call on Ukrainians in the West to attack and kill members of the Putin regime, their associates and close relatives.
Remove uranium from Ukraine’s nuclear reactors and prepare to disperse it in Russia by all means possible—the Budapest Memorandum depriving Ukraine of nuclear power status is clearly moot now.
Prepare to shell Belgorod with whatever missiles and artillery Ukraine has in its arsenal to flatten that city.
Every single one of these threats will scare Russia and the West equally—but that is the only way Ukraine can save itself now. Ukraine must spur the West into serious and immediate action by threatening to raise the stakes 20-fold in ways that will threaten to bring war to the complacent West. Ukraine also needs to change the calculus in Moscow by showing that it intends to fight this war as ruthlessly as Putin waged war in Chechnya. Anything less will see Ukraine disappear as a nation and a people before spring is over.
Here is a video of Motorola’s final taxing mission of the day.
There are hard core Pravi Sektor groups in Peski, to the west of the airport. That is where the shelling comes from. They will also have to be cleared for the shelling to stop. I expect the OSCE (known as Ossies in Novorossia) to turn a blind eye to such ‘difficult’ situations.
There is one more reason for a truce before winter that hasn’t been discussed as far as I am aware.
Russia and Malaysia want progress on the MH17 investigation. The Ukrainian government has been stalling presumably using (their) violence as justification. Once the Ukie heavy weaponry is out of the way, there can surely be no excuse to prevent a return of investigators. If the Ukrainian government pulls further delaying stunts as it did in the early days of the humanitarian convoy ‘negotiations’, there is now precedent for Russia to say ‘fsck it, the Malaysians can come in through Russia’.
I coulnt resist, and my head aces of ceapin it inside.
I agree with you all the way, saker, in some issues, its difficould to make any true assesments since what we know is what we are been spoonfeed thrue our MSM, witch we all know is rotten to its core.
Some points.
Its a race against time in several parralel issues, raging from eCONomy to warfare.
In the EU they are talking about BailIns/Bailouts/Austerety mesures, witch means they will go for comon mans acount to boulster the Banking sectores massive debt abyss, to fill it up with OUR savings and money. Cypros was a Beta test and now comes the truth, and Germeny is aso into this Bailins of the sentral bank scam.
Witch is a ticking time bomb, witch can blow up and have unparralleled consequencess regading the EU eCONomy at large.
I am not that worrie about Russia, because I already read that Putin is de facto aware of it since he refuced to tuch the Rubel, a wice move.
The wurst effect in the long term isnt Russia at large, the effect will be centered in the bigg cities as Moscow and St:Pburg, but the rest will make it.
Thanks to the old Sovjet black marked system called Datchjas, hehe, I have been in Russia and eveybody stil have them, a really wise move is to make that system above water.
Oil isnt eveything, for some Jupp, but for the rest, no that important.
And so on, aka the 5th collons world.
And to the airport, I dont know why this airport is sutch a vitale as some pretend it to be, its not.
Lock it down and simply bypass it.
Make the surounding are move to be outside their weponds range, mortats dont go that far, and lock it down. Pack it with snipers, to monitore, and make shure that anything coming from above will be taken down and then lett them simply starv to death.
Make the area irrelevant, because in the alrger pickture its irrelevant, not for the people close to it, of course byt military strat, sett, irrelevant, you only need aprox 1.5 km with a fearly good road to have airplains to land ther, the russians knows this.
Make the preocupyed with dummys to drain them of ammo, and heating when the winter comes will drain their fuel, rappidly, and food to.
Otherwise, I fully agree with Stalkov, the leader whom was kicked out(I am lousy with names so I hope this was rigth).
The NRF makes me proud, and I owuld have shown any mercy on the foreign mercs, just wacke them at sigth. But their own, as one video I have seen, where they repeared Tanks and so on, is a wise move. And made me also feal good, and proud of your people.
May our lord continue to enlighten their life and path forward.
In the end, this figth is Yours.

The Spanish writer JOSÉ MANUEL PRIETO, wrote about the famous Epigram to Stalin:
On Translating a Poem by Osip Mandelstam.
which begins:
“My zhivem pod soboiu ne chuia strany”
(“Vivimos sin sentir el país a nuestros pies,”
“We live without feeling the country beneath our feet,”)
great article about this poem, or epigram, and also about the poet and his time.

The defenders of Breslau also fought until they ran out of ammunition in 1945. They knew that surrender was not an option based on the atrocities they had performed against the Soviets.
Was there a torture center at the airport?
Joaquin Flores, center for syncretic studies offers details on what Saker identified as terrorizing the Donetsk populations as the motivation for their staying put to the very end. According to Flores, following advice from the Russian military, the decision to take the airport followed its identification as a base for terrorism, managed by mercenaries controlled by the usaians. They bombed Donetsk and send death squads at night. Good that they are no more. They could not surrender, because of their crimes, no corridor offered to them, as the youtubes reports show, could be accepted. They were to die in anycase. No safe passage but to hell for them.
Thanks God for this, and Motorola and Givi battallions for their heroism. According to Flores, high ranking Russian officers are providing assistance from Donetsk , so perhaps it can be read that the closure of the voentorg is not real, and uturn time is approaching, as the taking of the airport may signify.
There is one area of solidarity between Europeans and all the people of the Russian Federation: Frankenfood. The US can’t drive a wedge between these parties on that score, except Poland and a few other vulnerable ex Warsaw Pact countries that can’t say No, but Poland can certainly keep its Hate Apples. Russians will never go back, and they will beat back GMOs with everything they’ve got to preserve their food purity. This is the real battle.
Here is an 8:45 long interview with Joaquin Flores “The Battle For Donetsk Airport Explained” (published Oct. 04/14).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlRSYau5wLU
Flores, like Saker, points out that the Airport was not a conventional military objective but a well fortified base to maintain a reign of terror on the local civilians. And in Flores’ view there will be no reprieve for these war criminals and hence no surrender.

Anon Mongoosen, any disavowal of Kolomoisky by the brethren will be for PR purposes only. The truth of his fascist behaviour is seeping out, so a propaganda exercise is required. Behind the scenes he will remain, forever, a ‘Treasured’ member of the tribe. If the glorious West triumphs in Ukraine and is rid of Putin and Russia falls to some new Yeltsin, or a plague of them, Kolomoisky will swiftly be rehabilitated.
Alien Tech, the Nazis must be taken as POWs, to prove that fascist brutality is not contagious, and is the modus operandi of fascists only, and to put them on trial for crimes against humanity, which will serve good propaganda and historical purposes. Then the life sentences without parole can commence.
IMO the Ukies had the airport in mind as a fortified jumpoff for an armored assault east of Donetsk. They used the truce to triple the garrison and bring in an armored assault force. Once the additional armor became known to NAF, it added urgency to denying the airport as a forward position to the UAF.
Phase 1 of the airport battle seemed to follow the usual pattern between NAF and UAF, mobility versus firepower. Airport artillery positions had one last orgy of bombardment as their overrunning became imminent. The battle slowed as the UAF armored force came into play. The time required to reduce the armor enabled UAF to consolidate in strongpoints and bunkers. NAF could control the perimeter but not fully secure the airport. Up to that point, there was rationality in the UAF’s plan: hold strongpoints and try to smash through the perimeter with armored reinforcements, to eventually force out an outgunned NAF and reestablish their jumpoff. The problem was, they could not break through the perimeter to deliver reinforcements. NAF was strong enough to defend, just not enough to defend and eliminate the strongpoints at the same time. So there came something of an impasse for both sides.
The turning point came when UAF launched their absurd and disastrous assault with a force of 850 lightly armed troops. That opened phase 2 of the battle, where NAF had brought additional firepower and armor to bear against the strongpoints. UAF had little or nothing to show for their additional troops as they were unable to hold ground, quickly retreating either away from battle or toward the strongpoints. At that point the battle became meaningless for UAF in a military sense. They were not defending anything but their own skins. Those who held out to the last were true dead-enders: Polish and American mercenaries and hard core Nazis. The final solution to fortified bunkers and tunnels turned out to be kerosene.
I’m inclined to agree that the prospect of great advances after the August collapse was more exuberance than reality. NAF’s highest value target wasn’t territory, but UAF forces struggling to regain their balance. More opportunities for ambush, supply destruction, encirclement, and trophies that could affect the balance of forces in a major way. The breather caught by UAF made that prospect more difficult, as the experience with Donetsk Airport shows.
The rope-a-dope strategy of NAF is likely to continue, as it suits their capabilities well. Let the UAF throw their wild punches looking for the instant knockout blow. Slip the punches, block, jab, then BOOM! It’s not very pretty, but it is effective. If the recent experiences at Telmanovo, Debaltseve, and Donetsk are any indication, UAF’s punches are a lot less potent than the ones they delivered at Slavyansk, Krasny Luch, Saur Mogila, and Lugansk.

Yes, the Motorola Batallion, goes under the call name Sparta. They are a tough bunch of Men, and Women. have proven themselves in every important battle in this war. Scratched a survival during the Slavyansk stage, and now have developed as one of the most reliable batallions in the NAF. I think it is too dismissive to label the NAF as a rural armed force, demeaning even. On this video can see the tactics of the tankist on the action to take care of the old terminal. While Anonymous 18:01 believes in a controlled explosion by the Ukie force to bury the NAF fighters, on this and many other videos can appreciate the tactics used to take, one by one, each of the buildings in the airport territory. One interesting fact, Soviet-Russian construction is one tough and quality job. Can see the control tower take shot after shot of artillery fire, and it won`t crumble down, a la NYC Twin Towers, makes you think?
Seems to me that the Russian mindset, as my mother -In -law, living in Rostov-on-Don says “Russians will do anything Putin says”. If VV wants to change the world, this is the right time. cut the arms and legs under Medvedev, and give an ultimatum to the AZ russian oligarchs to repatriate their fortunes to Russia, or else risk confiscation of the cash cows they have under control, forget nationalization.
The NAF has proven to be a disciplined and tough army, capable of learning and developing, fearless, perhaps that is what the oligarchs are afraid of.
I don`t see the taking of Mariupol as such of a large challenge, in fact it could be the perfect preamble to the taking of Kiev, Lvov, and whatever they have to take. That is what it will take the Denazification of Ukraine. Forget about wishful thinking and Kumbaya.
Germany was DeNazified because of the carpet bombing of the Allies, it did not come about because of a sincere change of heart on the German People.
Life is that miserable.
ANOTHER BLOODBATH COMING IN ODESSA?
Call me a coward, and Odessa ‘capiulated’, however.
This is a call to the citizens of Odessa to be cautious from October 4 to 14.
Tomorrow, October 5, evromaidauny are marching on Kulikovo Field (next to Trade Union house). It is clear that the kulikovtsy will not leave from there. If mapdauny do not retract their decision – it will be a new battle at Kulikovo. And it will be lost.
Unconfirmed data (and who would confirm?) – up to 4 thousand fighters will be brought in to the city. Some of them are already here.
On October 14 evromaidauny plan to hold a “Peace March” under the slogan “give us guns” and tear down a monument to Catherine the Second.
These days there may be “civil” arrests, and murders on the streets. And Odessa “Angels” will not help, and Odessa “Berkuts”. Too few people and arms.
Mass resistance these days means sure death.
Otherwise we will repeat the fate of Warsaw in 1944.
Question: will I be at Kulikovo on the 5th?
Answer: Yes, of course.

re: “The AngloZionists are also apparently preparing for the loss of the airport: they are currently discussing the imposition of more sanctions on Russia is the airport falls to the Novorussians. Very stupid and yet oh so typical of these arrogant and clueless bureaucrats.”
Well, the main weapon NATO has is the leverage with Russia’s business interests and oligarchs. So why is this a bad move? And a truly horrible choice for nationalistic types like Putin is risking an undeclared civil war in the elites.
The reason why the Novorussians have been successfull might be that they are the “Home Team”, rather than the Galicians flown in from 1’000 km away. Just check out any sports game and compare how often the visiting Team wins. And if it’s a game of life and death, be sure it gets more accentuated.
Otoh, American and Polish mercenaries have more than just their life to lose. Surrender will surely end their right to a paycheck, and probably their career, as well as embarrass their home countries.

Alexandr Dugin on Vladimir Putin and tradition’s last stand against liberal colonization of the human mind…..
The translation of the following two paragraphs is by Yandex Translate. Alexandr Dugin supports Vladimir Putin’s effort to restrain the black tide of liberal racism(the ascendance of the virtual human mind over the evolutionary heritage of hormones expressed in family, tribe, language, religion, nation etc.)sweeping over the earth as the culmination of the Age of Enlightenment.
It is my opinion Alexandr Dugin’s analysis of the end of history and the possibility of a door out of the trap of globalization, homogenization, and atomization destroying the heritage of million’s of years of life’s evolution on the earth and millennia of human tradition’s is an important contribution to resistance to the Anti-Christ dressed in robes of humanitarian intervention.
Alexandr Dugin has a nuanced view of Putin’s role and he understands the limitation’s of office and man to stand alone against the forces of Anglo-Zion and its fifth and sixth column’s in the Russian elite. He calls on the Russian people to awaken and protect and fight for the man, Vladimir Putin, in human traditions last stand against the Anti-Christ of Anglo-Zionist Liberalism.
Part 2
Here is the translation…..
“The war against the retaining
Today, in the conditions of Ukrainian drama all liberal network on a global scale, as well as its Ukrainian contour and, most importantly, the Russian circuit, joined with Putin in a real war. And most likely Putin himself understands it in a technical and pragmatic way, as a politician realist, but actually, and they are well aware of themselves liberals, the war is about the meaning of history, on its end, on global domination of the world Anti-Tradition and final authority of the liberal racists. If Russia falters, nothing will be able to keep more globalization as full of “epistemological (and not only) occupation liberal totalitarian West area of the planet. Enemies understand the importance of the mission Putin in such a situation, the question is – do his friends, and he himself…
In any case, the situation is clear: the battle of Putin for Russia’s sovereignty is not the national theme, but the key question of world history. If it wins the West, this means that virtuality fully absorbs and replaces reality (like the previously replaced the sacred), the Postmodern triumphs, materialism, mechanism, secularism, gender politics, destroying the institutions of gender and family, the further transition from human to post-human become the world standard. And it would mean the end of the Tradition, the end of the spiritual. All religions know about this “last time”, and they all appreciate it in the darkest terms. It is liberalism, the third totalitarianism, liberal racism won doubtful right from the Communists and fascists to embody the ideology of the Antichrist. But this is a fact and it has very deep Foundation. Russia is opposing this global network (including internal), turns on the logic of history on the side of Tradition, especially as it defends against liberal aggression and epistemological occupation not because of socialist or nationalist motivations, and almost intuitively, depth, at the level of vague but compelling sensations, feelings, memories… And the voice of the unconscious Putin hears (from time to time, but hears). This means that, objectively, and even against their will Putin plays the role of “restraint”, who is the last obstacle to the global domination of the liberal network, a stumbling block postmodern post-human, the last Bastion of the spirit and Traditions. And quite naturally, the liberal network is not possible for him not to hate, not to attack, not to ridicule, not to cook conspiracies against him, not try to destroy it, to paralyze, to deceive, to overthrow…
May be, of course, it is not the last battle of world history, but it is very similar…
Alexandr Dugin”
@Larchmonter
I like your comparison with “GO”: it is extremely different from chess, apparently very slow-moving but very punishing if you’ve manoeuvered yourself into a difficult position – a subtle asian game :-).
My feeling is also that Putin is never as clueless as he looks: there were so many instances already where a defeat
– military like the beginnings of Novorussia or
– PR like the MH17 or
– political like the sanctions etc etc etc
seemed imminent and every time he outmanoeuvered his opponents.
My conclusion is that he understands his opponents better than they understand him.
And now he looks again clueless and weak – I would guess that this is a danger sign for his opponents. But as always – time will tell
James Cole said, “Fighting to the death seems their only option.” Yes, their only disposition.

Petraeus @ 04 October, 2014 19:23 gloating about NATO expansion into a bunch of Baltic former Soviet states that can do little more than annoy Russia with constant US troops rotations/provocations and training of a handful of would-be Russian Maidanists is not worth debating. Especially in his broken English which I can’t understand (no offense to those who are still learning English here whom I can understand and sense warm wishes from for the people of Novorossiya).
Yes it does look like I got Petraeus mixed up with another poster.
Ukies dropping willie pete from Uragan rockets (up to 20 km range) on the core areas of Donetsk airport is an admission that they’ve already lost it — or that they’re willing to
burn their own remaining survivors alive. I’ll go with option A, they’ve lost the airport and all the Ukie fanatic Tweeting about having repulsed all the assaults and killed 100s of Russian airborne troops who failed to take the airport is just more Ukie masturbatory fantasy.
Interesting that the Ukie Air Force is active again. I guess the Su-25s they had almost rusting away in reserve warehouses (or sitting on the tarmac somewhere in Romania and Poland) have been refurbished for active service.
Nice to see that the NWO sent its dumbest, lowest level minions to troll us with boasts about how Donetsk Airport was going to become the graveyard of the NAF and was an impenetrable fortress. Even down in their Soviet era bunker holes Ukies still have to eat and breathe oxygen that comes down those air shafts — shafts that the Russians have the schematics for and have been supplying the NAF with if the widely tweeted ‘see here’s the proof Russia gives the Donbas terrorists satellite photographs’ tweet among the Ukies is any indication. As other commenters pointed out there’s still plenty of avgas/kerosene on the airport premises that hasn’t been burned up and now that the Ukies have been forced down into their holes aviation fuel trucks can be brought up and then Motorola’s guys can pump that stuff into the air shafts and set it on fire. Thousands of gallons of aviation fuel burns pretty hot I’ve heard from the 9/11 forensics people and with enough fires down enough shafts would suck the oxygen right out of those cellars Dresden in 45′ style. The Ukie artillery fire from the west is clearly a last ditch attempt to dissuade the NAF from bringing up the ad hoc flamethrowers lest one shell kill a whole avgas truck crew. Hopefully the NAF will bring up enough of their own GRADs to suppress that Ukie fire and maybe even hit them with forward recon sabotage groups equipped with Russian satellite photos of where the Ukie Uragan batteries behind Ukie lines are located.

Obama and that fool Kerry would have some explaining to do!
Under the airport is a (huge?) Soviet Aere Nuclear Bunker.
Might be there is enough food for a long time stored.
Meanwhile smoking them out of there is not really “easy” because of the constant artillery fire from Ukies in the West of the airport.
Which means – in order to end the killing of civilians in Donezk – Putin needs to step up the support to make it possible to drive the Ukies away at least 40km from the airport.

Is this a joint Merkel Putin endeavor to bring an end to indiscriminate shelling of civilians?
Dugan, and also Surkov, have rather bizarre views of history. Anyone who invokes the Antichrist or some Masonic conspiracy has a large interior world. The most useful explanations of global events, including the conflict in the Ukraine and those having more broadly to do with the USA and Russia, come out of Human Ecology and the environmental sciences. Essentially, industrial civilization is a grotesquely short, single pulse phenomenon that burns through the prerequisites for its own existence in a few hundred years. Industrialism is entering its collapse phase now and governments know it (but can say nothing, lest they hasten the collapse). A game of “Last Man Standing” has begun, and in this game absolutely no holds are barred. The USA must dismember Russia. It has nothing to do with transforming mankind into wraiths disconnected from culture and tradition. It has to do with controlling critical energy reserves and pipelines. Who controls the hydrocarbon reserves of central and north Asia (and the Middle East) stands last while all others tumble into catabolic collapse. This is what mankind gets for its blind, headlong embrace of industrialism. One could say, as Professor David Price has, that mankind’s evolution was nothing more than Nature’s means of redressing the Earth’s energy imbalance. Intelligence evolved to take advantage of fossil energy. Once consumed, mankind will likely go extinct (as has every other species). Nothing to fret about; it’s just the way the universe works.
I’m glad to see Joaquin Flores cited here. His succinct information about the airport used as a death squad and war crime HQ is the perfect complement to Saker’s analysis:
http://syncreticstudies.com/2014/10/04/explaining-the-battle-for-donetsk-airport/
To NotSoFast at 1:19 – ever since I read this article by Flores explaining the “simulacrum” in this modern type of warfare, I’ve rejoiced to see Russia and Putin so misunderstood by their supporters, despite the genuine anxiety felt in these threads by supportive people.
The US barely even seeks anymore to hide its actions from its enemies, while Russia seeks very diligently to hide its actions from its friends as well as its enemies. This is a necessary part of the warfare she is unceasingly engaged in at every moment.
I rejoice in not knowing WTF Russia up to – it means she is moving, maneuvering, fighting. And as you point out, the less sound and fury we can hear and see, the more deadly the blows against its opponents.
@Larchmonter445
Pondered this thought today:
Putin is creating a cauldron for his enemies. All the political machinations in Ukraine by Surkov and the oligarchs might be to fully expose and entrap them in a political cauldron from which they can’t escape.
I think you’ve got it exactly right. The Ukrainian oligarch’s can only dream of the stability and unlimited opportunities available to their Russian counterparts. I think you’re right about Surkov too. The Kolomoisky and Pravy Sektor goons are isolated and almost everyone including Poroshenko would prefer a return to normalcy.
Another commenter mentioned the primary motivation for finally taking Donetsk airport was basically to stop terrorism. I think it has far greater significance. The tide in Ukraine has now definitively turned in Russia’s favour and the airport is symbolic of both the damage done to Ukraine and path to rebuilding.
@Bob Kay
Thanks for the comments from Dugin. I have despised liberals even when I thought (way back) I was one of them. Bolshevik rhetoric always sounded good but modern Russia is the real deal. The anti-Christ system finally has a worthy opponent although I am very worried about the role of ‘Communist’ China.
Europe and Russia need each other very badly. It has never been more obvious. I hope Germans will throw off their Anglo chains very soon. China and North America will soon be off limits for most German wares. Mostly they are already. Future German prosperity depends on Eurasia. It will only become more apparent as Anglo-Zionist policy in the ME goes on trial.

“All what left for you is your pitiful Eurasian union with Belarus and Kazakhstan, what an empire…”
What a pity – Officers from world’s so-called largest free democracy USA (in truth, the largest colonial empire of the AngloZionist) gloating on the fact that its old rival now does not have an empire (like itself)! Only problem with your view is that Russia has clearly learnt the lesson on cost and effort of maintaining an ’empire’; but the 1% Plutocracy of USA is yet to learn from its empire with 600+ military bases across the world – until and unless the 99% population teach them a lesson.
“Also it is important to cause as much regular Russian military causality as possible, you and the Russian media can deny it but it is clear that the tide was not turned by the NAF”
History shows, during every type of liberation war, the ‘masters’ come out with such silly observations that the oppressed group of peoples can’t win it, and that everything is because of the support from the neighbor! Anybody who has basic understanding of warfare will tell, had Russian army (even in disguise) intervened (beyond what they actually did by providing training and hardware), all of us would have been discussing the fall of Kiev !
“The economic problems, inflation, weak rubel, recession with the low oil prices makes it complicated for Putin, this war is not supported by most Russian, the Russian home front will not accept heavy Russian regular army casualties.”
Very accurate observation, agreed. But these features of Russian economy is recent, before which Russia had an impressive run from 2001 to 2012 to bring most peoples out of poverty with a fairly stable but extraction-oriented economy (after a dream run by Yeltsin-led 1% Oligarchy installed by cold war victor AngloZionist global Plutocracy). Now, in your 5-eye + European NATO empire, the 1% Plutocracy CAN NOT permanently keep the 99% population under continuous exploitation in a ‘police state’. And, what an economy the leader of the NATO has ??? Economy that runs on Only production of Weapons ??? Economy that is fueled by mass killing of Middle-East population creating sectarian violence ???
Shame on your empire and the supporters like you ! Saker & his Blog will continue to spread truth and knowledge and expose the AngloZionist empire’s misdeeds !! God Almighty will uphold the humanity and punish the inhuman butchers even if they rally behind the smokescreen of ‘open world’ and ‘human rights’ and ‘scientific logic’ !!!

With 1,643 nuclear warheads deployed, Moscow has reversed 14 years of U.S. superiority, and now has one more warhead in the field than the Pentagon, according to a U.S. State Department report.
Though both former Cold War adversaries have massively cut their nuclear arsenals since 1991, the data shows that over the past six months — a period that has seen Russia-West relations dive bomb over the crisis in Ukraine — both nations have boosted their nuclear forces.

Let go of everything you think you know about recent history and imagine the possibility of a polar shift of heretofore unimaginable proportions. Anglo-Zionist credibility is irrevocably damaged 13 years after Jewish Neoconservatives and their Anglo allies successfully engineered the catastrophe of 9/11. It looks like there is a strong possibility the Anglo-Zionists understand their plan is faltering and have decided to bare down and get it done. The problem for citizens of Zion is that they are too stoned and addicted to comprehend the plans of their Supremacist leaders. Abbot, Harper, Cameron and Obama see their own citizens as an inimitable danger to NWO plans and are moving agreesively to save their maniacal plan.
You know the score: the weak will perish. You’ve been trained your whole life and preparations are now complete.

Dear Saker – Splendid post as usual. One thing, you say NAF was supported by, “direct fire support from across the Russian border”…

Saker: “So the only possible use for the Ukie forces at the airport is to try to terrorize the people of Donetsk.”
This is the least plausible explanation. To whose benefit is random shelling of residential areas w/o any tactical or strategic relevance for the airport defenders literally fighting for their lives? Cui bono?
According to many Novorossiyan sources locals are reluctant to fight.
… Once consumed, mankind will likely go extinct (as has every other species). Nothing to fret about; it’s just the way the universe works.

Congratulations for the most depressing and dreary comment that has slipped the moderation talons of Saker that I have read so far on this site.
“…Because after war is over the investigation will start”
well, we in Croatia disagree. The Serbian occupation ended two decades ago and still butchers of Vukovar are roaming free (not to mention rapists, torturers, and dungeon masters – everybody claims that nothing happened and all were just cooks in the army) since judiciary system is entangled in their web hoping that witnesses are going to die. Not to mention that only symbolic number of war criminals were prosecuted inside Serbia.
For all you Russians and false believers in orthodox brotherhood here is inconvenient truth that will never surface in any media:

Without emotions please, Serbs killed Russian journalists in Serb held territory and nobody reacted for 23 years…

“They are the Americans of Asia and thus our greatest adversary.”
This is exactly my feeling too – they have depopulated their conquered lands and do not show the slightest sign of stopping. And Lao Tse left China in despair because nobody listened to him. I do have a few (small) reasons for hope though:
– the small hope that Christianity can (over time) make a difference but I have no reliable data about its acceptance by the population.
– The hope that Germany will throw off its chains because Russia+Europe could (maybe) resist a fully-grown China. But the slightest sign of weakness would be deadly.
– And finally a small hope that the ideas discussed in “Political Ponerology” (by Lobaczewski) could make a difference in the world: “normal” humans are viewed as “social beings” (i.e. with a social conscience) and sociopaths (apparently ~4% of the population) are viewed as abnormal with specific psychological/psychiatric symptoms which can be tested for. But is this concept valid for China too? Sometimes I think so because the Chinese that I’ve known for 30+ years mostly behave in a quite “decent” European way – but how far down does this go? And from my interesting years with a Tibet-support association it is obvious to me that the Chinese government is carefully nurturing a feeling in their population that the Chinese are not getting what is due to them and that they must never forget that. So are the Chinese puppet-masters power-crazed sociopaths too or does the social conscience of the Chinese only include the Han?
Former US President Bill Clinton and his hawkish wife Hillary Rodham Clinton are for some inexplicable reason considered friends of India. It was under President Clinton that Russia backed off its proposals to transfer technology to India and suspended its agreement, invoking force majeure (circumstances beyond its control).
The first hint there was a foreign hand trying to destroy – or at the very least slow down – India’s space programme surfaced in 1997 when five leading scientists – Satish Dhawan, U.R. Rao, Yashpal, Rodham Narasimha and K. Chandrasekhar – along with former Chief Election Commissioner T.N. Seshan wrote a joint letter to the government, saying the espionage charges against Nambi Narayanan and Sasi Kumaran were fabricated.
These were not ordinary people – they were public figures who clearly knew a thing or two about the inner workings of ISRO and the law and order system. And yet despite their plea, the IB tortured Nambi Narayanan to get him to implicated higher ups at ISRO.
It is a measure of how successful the CIA was in this spy game that its agents in the Kerala Police and Intelligence Bureau (IB) were able to have a swing at just about everyone in the cryogenic project.

Russia in India’s space odyssey
Why after such close cooperation with the USSR, Russian-Indian cooperation dropped off a cliff..
Indian and Russian space agencies, however, need to sort out differences in mutually beneficial way. Differences on projects like Chandrayaan-2 or human spaceflight programme could have been better addressed. Last October, India’s space agency chief expressed dissatisfaction at the slow pace of developments of the project and declared India’s intent to go solo in the project. Perhaps the problems regarding the project could have been better handled had the officials dealing with the project resisted the temptation to go in public to detail the differences, and attempted to sort out them in bilateral forums. It may be possible that the project can be developed jointly and launched by 2016 or 2017, with Russia supplying lander and India building rover and orbiter.

More countries seek ‘India-type’ defence cooperation with Russia
Under existing intergovernmental agreements between Russia and India, licenses and technical documentation for the production of Su-30MKI airplanes and RD-33 and AL-31 aviation engines have been transferred to India.
Russia has traditionally been reluctant to enter similar agreements with other countries, but is more open to the idea now. South Africa, a fellow BRICS member, is likely to become one of the beneficiaries of such an agreement.
Russia has expressed its willingness to give military technologies to its BRICS partner South Africa.

So if the people are brain washed it was on purpose to make Indians and Chinese look bad in the eyes of the Russian population. After all, the 3 mil or so Indians in the US are the most educated and upper middle class society, actually draining all the best Indians and using them to advance themselves. If the US thought the same then why even allow such a large number of people to be assimilated? Americans themselves dont have such a degrading image of Indians although they wont allow India itself to advance the same as the British who preferred to use Indians but never help India itself.
So Russians also need to rethink their bias and hostility as unnatural. Yes Indians and Chinese would love to move to Russia and use all that space but neither has taken over a land they have moved to as evidenced by the Chinese workers who worked to install their railroad and road infrastructure.
Dicer the US has been interfering in many countries that tries to advance and gain knowledge. They been strongly directly interfering since 1991 after the USSR broke up. I started looking at why India-Russia cooperation dropped of so drastically as well the hostility of Russia to Indians and Russians never really interacted with the Chinese so that was not a problem.
You thought only Iranian scientists were targeted? And although the Russian scientific community are not racists and know Indian scientific achievements since thousands of years the rest don’t and are easily persuaded that all Indians are just 3rd worlders not worth the time. Just like how many of the awards western scientists are awarded were worked on by their Indian coworkers.
Cryogenic countdown: How the GSLV became India’s missile impossible
November 9, 2013 Rakesh Krishnan Simha
Despite secret Russian assistance, India’s heavy lift GSLV rocket has failed to take off. Here’s a look at the possible causes.
With Russia then firmly in the Western camp, India realised there were limits to cooperation with Moscow as long as Yeltsin was at the helm.
One of them says Narayanan was Rattan Sehgal, who was the IB’s counter intelligence chief and was associated with the ISRO investigation. Sehgal was later caught red-handed by the then IB chief Arun Bhagath. He was accused of having worked for the CIA, which led to his unceremonious exit from the IB in November 1996.
“This soon became known to the CIA, which is believed to have orchestrated the plan to paralyse the program by sending its key scientists to prison,” says Nalapat. “Although the charges were found to be entirely false, that vindication took a decade to come about”
The cryogenic team wasn’t the last to be systematically targeted. Last month the bodies of K.K. Josh and Abhish Shivam were discovered near the railway tracks at Penduruthy near Vishakapatnam Naval Yard. The two were engineers connected with the building of India’s indigenous nuclear-powered submarine, Arihant.
Earlier, in February 2010, M. Iyer, an engineer at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) was found dead in his residence. Iyer was strangled in his sleep. For those not in the loop, BARC is the top secret facility where India’s nuclear warheads are produced.
Nalapat says according to the Government of India, over just a three-year period, there have been at least nine unnatural deaths of scientists and engineers at just BARC as well as the Kaiga nuclear facility in southern India.
In fact, if you go further in the past, the death of the father of the Indian atomic programme, Homi Bhabha, in a plane crash over the Alps is equally mysterious. So is the death of pioneering space scientist Vikram Sarabhai at the age of 52.

@Alien-Tech,
Excellent info, I was aware of most of what you have written, especiallly the cyrogenic engines being blocked and sabotaged by the Clinton Regime. You may note that successful maiden launch of the GSLV-Mark-1, early 2001, was nearly sabotaged on the launch pad when one of the 4 boosters started catching fire seconds before ignition, ISRO was expecting sabotage (having observed the terrible failure rate and ‘accident’ frequency of the Japanese Space Agency, a vassal, of the US). As ISRO was expecting sabotage, they had instituted a fairly robust safety and contigency plan: an automatic safety software routine immediately shutdown launch (over-riding operator control), and flooded the gantry with CO-2 and chemical fire-suppressant. You will note that ISRO was able to continue the launch shortly thereafter by removing the ‘defective’ (sabotaged) booster and replacing with an unannounced onsite spare, relaunching within weeks after the shutdown.
However, I was not aware of the murders of key scientists attached to this program and the Indian Nuclear Submarine SSBN program (which is already at sea and is soon going to be operational). That news is very disturbing, and will lead to retaliation in the coming decades (Indians have very long memories, not the type to forgive and forget anymore, those days are long gone). Btw anyone could be a suspect in the murder of those scientists, the Chinese (Very Unlikely), Pakistanis, the slime that inhabits the corridors of power in the increasing laughable “power” known as Britain, etc. I don’t see the Americans doing something this risky at a time when they want woo India as a counterweight to China.
RE:: South Africa and Russian Technology transfer deals. The reason Russia is willing to countenance such deals with SA is for the some of the same reasons they exclusively held such deals with India: 1) They stand to gain technology in return (DENEL has world-class military high-tech that can compliment Russia’s needs), similar to how the Indian collaboration supplied Russia with technology and expertise in digital Avionics, microelectronics, systems-integration, software-modularity and standardization, 2) SA, specifically DENEL, has a good track record on respecting intellectual property and license agreements (like India), 3) SA is geographically and politically unlikely to ever be an adversary of Russia (like India).
You will note that the above conditions (2&3) may never be met by China (to Russia’s comfort level, judging by how China openly cloned the Su-27 and still doesn’t paying licensing fees), so this type of deep level cooperation with China is not as likely.
Russia needs to diversify their technology ecosystem to acquire Western-equivalent technology and components from sources that are not constrainted by NATO country embargoes. Very few countries meet this criteria: India, China, South Africa, and possibly Brazil and Israel (on systems not dependent on US IP, licensing approval). Already after the Rogozin announcement regarding western embargoes against radiation hardened chips for their satellites, Russia has approached India and China to supply these instead.
You are correct that the average Russian needs “training” on overcoming their attitudes towards Chinese and Indian citizens if Russia wants to seriously make an alliance work. Fortunately their scientists and engineers don’t harbor these ignorant attitudes, and that’s what made previous cooperation possibly, but for large-scale integration and cooperation their is no room self-defeating bigotry (the kind encouraged by the Europhile Atlantic Integrationist types and extreme Russian Nationalists).
Where-Wolf said…
“I have despised liberals even when I thought (way back) I was one of them.
It will only become more apparent as Anglo-Zionist policy in the ME goes on trial.”
“Is it possible that Russia, Turkey (Erdogan/AKP), Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Qatar AND Syria are moving to block Anglo-Zionist and Iranian efforts to isolate the Shia corridor? Could Syrian silence over NATO airstrikes be an indication that Bashar Assad has less reason to fear a Turkish intervention then we suppose?”
“I understand Iran has its own interests but the their leadership is playing a double game which coincides perfectly with the plans of our genocidal Anglo-Zionist overlords.”
The Leaders of Germany & France are leaders of AZ Plutocracy in the European theatre as Rulers of Turkey & Saudi Arabia & Morocco are in the West Asia-North Africa theatre !
What a joke when you write Iran is trying to isolate Shia corridor ! (it is equal to writing UK is trying to isolate 5-eyes corridor)
Finally, if Iran wants to sell their Oil & Gas to Europe, that amounts to double game ?
A very clear trend can be found in your multiple posts in this article – (1) DISCREDIT THE GROWING EURASIAN RELATIONSHIP AMONG RUSSIA-KAZAKHSTAN-CHINA AS A CORE PARTNERSHIP & AMONG RUSSIA-KAZAKHSTAN-CHINA-MONGOLIA-IRAN-INDIA-INDONESIA AS AN EXTENDED PARTNERSHIP
(2) ANGLOZIONISTS ARE ANYWAY DISCREDITED & CURSED WORLD-WIDE, SO YOU GO ALONG THE SAME LINE. INSTEAD, YOU ARE DISTRIBUTING THE DREAM OF ‘GERMANS’ PARTNERING WITH RUSSIA TO BUILD A NEW EUROPE TO SOMWHOW CLING ON TO WHITE SUPRAMACIST TRAITS OF TYPICAL EUROPEAN READERS.
BOTH THE ABOVE ARE SECOND BEST SCENARIOS OF 1% GLOBAL PLUTOCRACY, WHO CAN JUMP INTO THE NEW SHIP SINCE THEY KNOW (FIRST PREFERRENCE) THE EXISTING SHIP IS ALMOST WRECKED !
Spreading the disguised agendas of global AZ plutocracy will not change the ground reality – it is HUMANISM that will ultimately win which will keep the humanity up and running

Regular abductions happen in Mariupol
http://novorossia.today/publications/news-from-ukraine/regular-abductions-happens-in-mariupol.html
According to report of representative of Mariupol stuff office of DPR Elena Donbassova; such advertising started appearing more often in groups of Mariupol: “21.09.2014 from the working place was abducted Makarenko Anatoli 1988 y.b., and his wife also disappeared. Punitive soldier in black uniform Azov was accompanied to the factory by worker of SCU, put wristbands on Anatoliy and without explanations taken him from the factory. Next day the relatives investigated that they are in the airport and they have already broken the jaw and ribs of Anatoliy. We have had the information concerning his wife yet. At home were left two small children. Every day people are abducted people in the city for whom come “black people”. The police can’t do something. And people, meanwhile are hold in the airport in horrible conditions and undergo cruel tortures. Witnesses report that Lyashko with his punitives took dead bodies to Pavlopolsk water basin. More than 100 thousand people have been disappeared in the city. After started local people spreading advertisements concerning disappeared people in social networks and in police started doing something. We got the report that husband and wife Makarenko were released. But they were sacked from their working places. On which reason isn’t clear.

Israel Shamir’s review of Alexandr Dugin’s ‘bizarre’ Fourth Political Theory is a good introduction to the work of a wide ranging mind in it’s search for a way forward for humanity.
I met Dugin in the world of the mind, when it came to my attention that he studied the work of G.I. Gurdjieff. Gurdjieff was a twentieth century figure who devoted his life to the struggle for a way forward for humanity alienated from ‘God’ and atomized by the imperatives of industrial civilization. Gurdjieff intuitively knew man is adrift when the roots of human tradition were severed by worship of technology, scientism, and naive political correctness.
It is in the study of the human mind we discover the binary chains of the literal minded human vs. the possible escape from nothingness to a conscious presence ‘in-the-world’, but not of it for the mind of metaphor. The Anti-Christ is a metaphor and those not recognizing such are captives of the literal binary mind. I recommend Ian McGilchrist’s book The Master and His Emissary: The Divided Brain and Making of the Western World for those interested in the ecology of the mind where the real war for the future of humanity is taking place. Novorossiya is ‘in the world’….the joining of heaven and earth for the metaphoric mind.
Alexandr Dugin is a Eurasanist, turning his back on the virtual world of the Century of the Self that has emasculated mankind’s desire and ability to resist a scientific dictatorship of mind control. His idea’s gore many sacred cows, as he cherry pick’s a mixtus orbis.

what a Bullshit, how you can compare those countries to soviet core territories, it’s like if the European NATO countries would join to Warsaw pack and Texas and California would became independent and socialist…that’s comparable to what happened to the Russians..

hello; i have been attending this extraordinary forum, congratulations to Mr. Saker and all the contributors…
This morning something suddenly struck me – i will share it for the erudite appraisal of present company, although i do not expect any public reply becasue this informed speculation is off-topic.
is it at all possible that the malaysian air downing was in reality a sly trap and that vladimir putin’s blue and white executive jet was seeminglyexposed to the NATO command team’s spies and radar?¿
…as the fruit of an operation of disinformation?
Is it possible that the western war-managers were led to believe that the russian federation president was actually flying over the eastern ukraine battlefield? and that if they destroyed him and his plane with fighter jet machine guns, that this would come off as a legitimate act of war, (after all, what was putin doing anyway, directly over the battlefield?¿?)
This scenario would better fit the scenario as we know it; after all, why not use a missile to shoot down a passenger plane if you intend to blame the other side for shooting the plane down with a missile?
In the big strategic picture, this theory would not make any difference, still it makes me curious to what extent, and under what circumstances, evil might be righteously employed against evil?

It could be David, but I still believe, as someone said, that the Devil walks the earth like a natural man.
The human race might very well give up on its humanity once it loses its cultural patrimony.
I don’t think anyone knows what may happen. But in any case the purchase of green bananas might come to be seen as inordinately optimistic.

To the sad news of the abductions in Mariupol, is to be counted many abductions and massive executions of the dnipro battalion payed by kolomoyski. In the website http://www.slavyangrad.org, october 5, an article entitled the Miniholocaust…
Exposes the emails exchanged by Filatov, Kolomoyski’s assistant, in which news of mass murders by the nazi battalion, particularly those of a Jewish community, which received a coverup from the rabbis and leaders of the KievJewish community, despite Israel, in receiving the news of these executions, is considering denationalization of Kolomoyski, who has triple nationality.
It is not the first time that Jewish oligarchs and leaders have sent correligionists to the execution squads, as the reports of the WW2 have repeatedly shown, and in particular, in Ukraine
