Russia should just stop selling coal to Ukraine and watch them freeze to death. Let the merciful West help them. If the situation was reversed Ukraine will be as nasty as the can be. Russia is way too nice. As a Slav myself I recently realized how utterly ruthless and inhumane and hypocritical the Anglo Saxons actually are. Took me 30 years of living in the West to figure it out finally.
I think it would be a mistake since the people who would freeze per your proposition are not the “people” responsible for this continuing idiocy called Ukrainian state..
Really? They do not have voting rights?
Some other human rights opressed probably.
Or were the elections rigged?
So, there must be a fascism in Ukropia.
Why then did Russia acknowledge the postmaydan government of Yacenyuk’s and the Porosohenko swine in the office?!
Why did the sanctions not come latest after the murdering in Odessa?
Why does the hypocratic russophobic Europe still live on Russian gas? Do not tell me about contracts, I tell you about force majeure.
Oops, Russia needs dollars. Hmmm, so does the North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria etc. – but they fight as they are not led by oligarchs and politicians who keep their money, children and real estates abroad!
Voting is fake news.
Russia needs to do things that bring the criminal regime down, not things that set Russia up to look bad.
I agree that they have failed to publicly identify the regime as Nazi. Do they not realize how embarrassing it would be for Merkel to have to explain she supports Nazis?
In a fight, you can’t always play it cool. Lavrov is wrong if he thinks you just play it cool for the sake of it. When you get a chance to take the opponents neck, you take it.
Just my two cents to one of your questions:
Russia did/does recognize the government of Ukraine because it commits the Ukrainian government to its actions. Non-recognition would need a case-by-case acceptance of each contract signed or rule adopted by the Ukrainian government. It is much more effective to consider all government actions as binding by Ukrainian law to deal with the consequences.
Recognition means that Russia treats the cancellation of the friendship treaty, the abject failure of implementing the Minsk treaty provisions etc. as legally binding actions, that were committed by the Ukrainian government on behalf of the Ukrainian people. That means the Ukrainian people cannot excuse themselves by saying “it was the junta in Kiev, not us”.
Excellent point Marcel! Recognition bestows accountability. No excuses!
@ Hoyeru… But where do you live now? I’m in Australia myself. There is lots of ‘window dressing’ on the media in Australia, but the façade is slowly peeling away. Things are not as ‘good’ or as ‘innocent’ as the government would have us believe. I am preping my emigration to take my family to ‘greener pastures.’ I pity the people who have just arrived in Australia. Things are much harder here than they used to be, and they are only getting worse.
Back in 1987 a friend and I were discussing where we could go to leave Australia and its totalitarian regime. We couldn’t identity a safe port then and I really don’t know of a place now.
Good luck to you!
P.S. And a happy New Year to all
McGregor, there is no safe port in this world. The best of men that ever walked this earth was condemned to die the cruelest death ever conceived by the perverted ingenuity of homo sapiens. His message was forgiveness and trust in God, even when God hides His face and causes us to doubt His mercy. Get in your rocket ship and fly to the end of the Universe, you will not find that Shangri La. So stay where you are and work to establish The Kingdom in the Land of Oz.

sigh … if you grown up among them, you’d have been forced to realize just how ruthless and inhumane they are by the time you survived grammar school.
Don’t be so asinine. I know 3 people in kiev (from the Donbass) and I don’t want them to suffer, nor millions of others in ukraine who want to be rid of poroshitko etc & oligarchs.

Happy New Year to you, Larchmonter!
Ollie….could you consider an article or your thoughts on…..the Integrity Initiative revealed is but surely one among others where public offices seem to be subversively used….I suggest French Foreign Ministry is another where what is says and does seem deliberately at odds with its own agenda from the French State….are there other examples of a hidden infiltration and subversion…and surely GCHQ and UK intelligence organisations to be somehow infiltrated by covert agendas with more sinister purposes and persons….Gavin Williamson Defence Minister seems to be a public face of something more insidious too eg UK ship to Odessa and some international calls for freedom of access to Sea of Azov rubbish but Ukraine extends its 12 mile limit to 24 miles…I am suggesting something like a military equivalent of the kind like the deep state running along side it or in parralel ……hence increasingly such things as White helmets…the deliberate events of Skripal….other “spy” events like the Austria…NL “exposures”….UK SAS in Syria and the trainers in Ukraine….it just seems like there is something nasty that has infiltrated our military forces and ministries and civil ministries and that is the new norm but it is being directed-focused……to something beyond just the usual kind of pontification political thing like RAF scrambled to intercept Russian bombers somewhere in international airspace or “airspace of concern” as in the Baltics…….??????
So the Ukrainians export to either Belarus or to Kazakhstan, and then the goods get forwarded to Russia. It now makes sense why Russia would prefer, for now, to have both countries remain outside the Russian Federation. As a bonus, both countries love “skimming a little off the top” in transit fees.
Which countries besides Russia and the former Soviet Union countries have any interest in Ukrainian goods?
Is there anything left that from ukronazia that can be imported? ;-D
It doesn’t mention socks decorated with SS runes such as the Sig, Wolfsangel or SS Death’s Head.
Perhaps Canada’s Trudeau might instead import those as he seems to like loud decorated socks and support for the Ukronazis?
Trudeau’s foreign minister Chrystia Freeland can help. Her gramps (Mykhailo) Michael Chomiak (1905-1984) was a Ukrainian Nazi running a Ukrainian-language paper in Nazi-occupied Poland, from Jan 1940 to Mar 1945. After the war, he became a political refugee, and continued publishing in Canada.
Precisely; maybe a fashion line in ‘Death’s Head’ pantyhose for the russophobic Freeland and followers?
Noticing the Ukie society embrace of LBGT+ lifestyle and understanding the underlying psychodynamics of nazism which hides homosexuality beneath the leather and cruelty of its military and police actions, the pantyhose fashion line would be a huge success in Kiev, Lviv and parts of several Eastern European regimes.
I wonder, do you know offhand the names of the publications Chomiak ran in Canada?
I would love to see some of the content since it is through people like him that Fascism took over Canada to a point where an Ukro-Fascist, his grand-daughter(?) Freeland is now in the drivers seat and is about to hand the wheel to Zionists (her boss, Soros) and Ukro-Fascists like Katzeniuk, Jarosh (both Zionist Jews) and Tinybok.
Furthermore, I am afraid that, should the CIA/Mossad experiment in Southern Russia fail, we will have a huge influx of Zionists and other Fascists, just like at the end of WW2.
If I remember correctly, Chomiak’s periodical in Canada was titled “Ukrainian News”, or perhaps the same but in Ukrainian. When I was writing my comment, I based it on Wikipedia’s article on “Chrystia Freeland”, with some drilling down into linked articles. That title was mentioned there. But that was two days ago, and now I can’t find it where I think I saw it. Same for the years of his birth and death. Well, maybe it’s all still there somewhere, or maybe Wikipedia underwent some cleanups in the meantime. For example, I’m pretty sure that a couple of years ago there was an separate article on “Michael Chomiak”, and there isn’t one there now, as if he were a person of no consequence.
Thank you. I will try to find something using your leads. I actually know of someone who was drafted out of the work camps in Canada after WW2 to become editor of a Ukrainian newspaper. I do not know the name of it or if it was Fascist like Chomiak’s.
”Is there anything left from ukronazia that can be imported?”
What a silly question, vt. How about Ukro top class political leadership? :-D
Ah, Der Porky Fuhrer’s Chocolates got sanctioned! :)
Ouch! I must confess to a slight tinge of schadenfreude… :D

This outburst from the Foreign Ministry of Poland may trigger Frexit and/or actualise Macron’s European Intervention Initiative (EI2).
NATO may shrink into the Warsaw Pact and former Soviet countries so that NATO becomes the cordon sanitaire.
The Poles should consider what happened to Khazaria….its inhabitants cast to the four winds.
In case there were any doubts as to the proud people of Gownopolska being utter crackpots, the above linked article proves it superbly. This silly yokel passing for FM indeed lives up to his name: Czaputowicz.
Poles = World’s most underrated Latin Christians.
First of all Happy New Year to everyone! May we see it go through without any major and unpleasant events.
Nussi,
Reading your comment I decided to do some searching about Jacek Czaputowicz, who is said to be some kind of prof. Regardless, I found video by dr. Leszek Sykulski, I admit, but very quickly I decided that I wasn’t going to waste my time watching it in detail, cluing in on guy’s classic disinfo.
The title is: “Who is Czaputowicz? He is certainly controlled by external “mocarstwo=Imperial Power””.
Judging Czaputowicz’s demands we could guess which “mocartswo” they are talking about, and certainly it would not be Russia, but here is where they fool you. The guy in the video, never stops talking about Polish Universities and politicians being under the influence of old Soviet Instructions. He talks about “Russia’s annexation of Crimea”, and he goes on and on with his Soros NGO BS.
The video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhOuAf90Uy4
It seems Poland think it’s ‘third time lucky’. Napoleon and Adolf both tried but failed. It’s almost like Monty Python now (“This is your moment, Arthur Pewtey!”). It’s Poland’s moment now. Not just Poland alone of course, but with NATO, and above all the U.S., behind it, or, preferably, in front.
@Zonggor
Make that fourth time lucky, including the piece of garbage known as Sweden’s Charles XII careering in the early 18th century. After the rout at the hands of Czar Peter the Great, he escaped by a hair’s breadth to Turkey. Understandably, the Turks got fed up pretty fast hosting this congenital troublemaker, little more than an unhinged, spoiled brat 27 years of age.
Regarding the extraordinarily perspicacious Poles, Sweden’s national broadcaster showed quite an interesting, well-researched documentary last fall about what passes for mainstream political life in Poland: Two equally reactionary, Russophobic camps of ”nationalists” and ”internationalists” where the former keep moaning, groaning, and foaming forever about Smolensk, April 2010 further accompanied by über-devout Catholicism, and their sense of being Europe’s unrecognized saviours from the Germans, the Russians, and the Ottomans. The film started with scenes from one of the Polish Nationalists’ rallies where the orator thundered against the EU, making it clear what a gargantuan mountain of moral indebtedness it has to spotless, flawless Poland. As for the internationalists, they are the same kind of brave warriors for Soros and ’European values’ as can be found elsewhere in Eastern Europe.
Humour time:
What defines a math genius in Poland?
Outstanding use of Roman numerals!
What are you referring to? Ashkenazis? If so…
There is no such thing as a “Khazar Jew”. The Khazars were a collection of different tribes and ethnicities, and there is not an iota of evidence that any of them ever converted to Judaism. On the other hand, extensive DNA studies have determined without the slightest shadow of a doubt that the Ashkenazis are descended from Hebrews (Y-DNA) and from a group of about 300 women from what today is northern Italy who had converted to Judaism and married Jews (MtDNA). Furthermore, seeing that the Khazars were a collection of different tribes and ethnicities (including Turkic and Greek), there is no Khazar DNA.
Arecent DNA study that looked at the entire Ashkenazi ancestry (both paternal and maternal) found that their overall lineage is 50% Middle Eastern and 50% European. Secondly, these findings fit in with history perfectly. In ancient times many Israelites migrated to Southern Europe and established communities in Italy and Greece. It’s well recorded that around the same time, many Romans converted to Judaism and married these Israelites. Thirdly, therefore the Southern European ancestry in Ashkenazi Jews is from these Romans, and the Middle Eastern ancestry in them is from the Israelites. So basically half of their ancestry is from the Israelites (and thus from Abraham) , while the other half is mainly from Roman converts.
The terms Ashkenaz and Sephard were coined in the middle ages, where Ashkenaz meant Germany (which semi-included northern france), while Sephard meant Spain.
The most recent study does not confirm the outcomes you cite. In fact it contradicts them entirely.
It was done by Johns Hopkins with minimal if any participation or control by the party most concerned – Ashcanazi Zionist Jews.
It seems to me you have a dog in this fight. But pace Lenin, quantity has yet to turn into quality no matter how many pixels you burn.
http://www.texemarrs.com/092013/jews_deny_being_khazars.htm
You got at least one thing right, “There is no such thing as a Khazar Jew”.
But there are plenty of things which could be properly described as Khazar fake-jews.
Vierotchka
What you have written cannot be accepted. The Khazars were a Turkish tribe which converted to Judaism. Benjamin H.Freedman in his famos speech at the Willard Hotel in 1961 admits it. DNA testing does in fact prove that present day Jews are descendants of Khazars. The Khazarian Kingdom did in fact exist, destroyed by a combined Russian-Persian military offensive. After the infamous coup d’etat against Yanukovich in 2014, Ukraine has seen an influx of Zionists, buying up property in southern Ukraine, hoping to resurrect the Khazarian Kingdom.
Furthermore:
Raphael Patai describes the Khazars in the field of Turkmen people with some Mongoloid admixture. After major advances in DNA sequence analysis and computing technology in the late 20th and early 21st century, a plethora of genetic research has been conducted. The Yiddish scholar Alexander Beider looks at genetic studies as often as possible.
According to Martin B. Richards, presently available genetic studies, including his own study on maternal Ashkenazi lineages, all refutes the Khazar theory. The claim that Ashkenazis has a whole place of origin from Khazars has been widely criticized. Using four Jewish groups, one being Ashkenazi, Kopelman et al found no evidence to the Khazar theory.
While the consensus in genetic research is that the world’s Jewish populations (including the Ashkenazim) share substantial genetic ancestry derived from a common Ancient Middle Eastern founder population, and that Ashkenazi has no genetic attribution attributable to Khazars, at least one study authored in this period diverges from the general view of the Khazar theory.
Counter-evidence exists to the Khazar hypothesis claiming that the male lineage of Ashkenazi Jews originates from an ancient (2000 BCE – 700 BCE) population of the Middle East who spread to Europe. DNA studies of Ashkenazi Jews concluded that their male lineage was founded by ancestors from the Middle East and that they share this paternal ancestry with Sephardic Jewish populations. Genetic studies show that the male lineage of Ashkenazi Jews bears a common genetic heritage which originates in the Near East, and that they bear their strongest resemblance to the peoples of the Fertile Crescent . A study of Ashkenazi mitochondrial DNA by Martin B. Richards of theUniversity of Huddersfield found no maternal lineages attributable to Caucasus. Richards summarized the findings on the female line as such:
“None of the mtDNA came from the North Caucasus, located along the border between Europe and Asia between the Black and Caspian seas. But still tenacious, hypotheses: that most Ashkenazi Jews can trace their roots to the mysterious Khazar Kingdom that flourished during the ninth century in the region between the Byzantine Empire and the Persian Empire. ”

Vierotchka, many thanks for bringing us up to date on modern genetic findings re ancestry of European Jews. As you say, an origin due to cross breeding between 300 women in Northern Italy (presumably of Indo-European origin) with 300 (or more?) men from the Middle East would fit in with the little that I know of Roman history. There were many Jews in Rome, and I presume they would follow the Roman Legions into Gaul, Spain and Germany. Encyc.Brit. says “the Germans were great traders” (from Germania by Tacitus?) and that would have got Jews into Germany, hence Poland hence Russia. I heard the Khazar story from my Jewish Polish woman; in that story it was a version of the Old Testament Book of Esther insofar as (according to the story) the King of the Khazars had his people converted to Judaism through love of his Jewish girl friend.
A good intro to mitochondrial geneology (and a lively read) is “The Seven Daughters of Eve”. According to that book (probably outdated in detail but sound in principle) the entire population of Western Europe and the Middle East could be traced back to only 7 women of the Stone Age. So tracing the European Jews to as many as 300 women in Northern Italy makes sense — because the population had expanded by Roman times.
Alas, VIerotchka did not so much “bring us up to date” as provide a dubious compendium of tendentious and misleading old studies which bore the fingerprints of residents of the real estate scam known as The Jewish State.
Even a recent best-seller in that bedeviled land, Schlomo Sand’s The Invention of the Jewish People came to the truly up to date, and same, conclusions as the opening chapters of Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s Magnum Opus, <Two Hundred Years Together A History of the Jews in Russia 1775-1975.
The Khazars are a Turkic Tribe with some Mongol admixtures from Khazaria, a significant state in the latter part of the first millenium which occupied the area centered on the mouth of the Volga River where it enters the Caspian Sea. Koestler, Solzhenitsyn, Soviet scholars got it right and the recent Johns Hopkins study confirms it. They have absolutely no claim to any portion of the Middle East. A huge embarassment and thorny problem no doubt.
Platon
That is correct. Present day Jews are in fact Khazars. As many have pointed out, Palestinians have more Jewish blood in their veins than Khazarian “Jews”. As I have written above, Benjamin H.Freedman in his famos speech at the Willard Hotel in 1961 admits that present day Jews are in fact Khazars, who legally and historically have no right to claim any part of the Middle East. One can argue that the Khazarian financed Bolshevik “revolution” of 1917 was an attempt to destroy Russia, so that the Khazarian Kingdom, which existed brifely, could be resurrected.
Thank you very much, Vierotchka. Right the first link you give is very much worth reading and makes perfect sense. (i.e. common sense, besides, they don’t look Turkic in the slightest either)
All signs point to the Khazarian hypothesis being nothing but a Western/Nazi propaganda fairy tale, fabricated in order to demonize the Cossacks (Kazakhs) and Russia.
I don’t see anything majorly good in this. Tell me in which country did sanctions have an effect on the guilty? Maybe it will affect poroshitko – marginally – but hasn’t he got much richer in the past year(s)???
Won’t this increase unemployment there?
Obviously, if there are any banned GMOs there then good.
Ralph
You are correct up to a point. However, Ukraine is not a normal state as such, being ruled and plundered by oligarchs, who hate Russia but who need Russia for exports. For example, why so much anger directed towards the Nord Stream – 2 gas pipeline, which will by pass Ukraine ? Even the US had the audacity to complain, so that Ukraine can reap financial benefits, yet at the same time apply to join NATO. Sanctions will be felt in Ukraine.
B.F. I know that. I have also lived under sanctions for a while, and I was not pro-govt of the country which had been targetted, which I later left. It does nothing for the poor, innocent people, except cause them problems. Also, today there is yet another, Western forced heating cost rise in ukraine, which won’t detrimentally affect any of the parliamentarians, oligarchs etc.
The ban is necessary to prevent any reselling of EU goods,
first imported into Ukraine, then exported to Russia. Remember
the EU-Ukie economic deal, EU gets to export alot of products to Ukraine.
This ban actually hurts Ukie oligarchs most.
RATM
That is correct. As for EU products, Russia can always by pass Ukraine, as trade between the EU and Russia is in fact increasing.
Was Russia purchasing Ukrainian goods with dollars? If Russia is becoming self-sufficient, what goods does Ukraine offer that Russia cannot produce for itself? The Russian Federation only cares about one thing: As long as physical gold can be bought from the West, the status quo will continue. It would be interesting to see what would happen once there is no more gold to buy.
“Thus, in exchange for Russian oil, gas and uranium, the West pays Russia with dollars, purchasing power of which is artificially inflated against oil and gold by the efforts (manipulations) of the West. However, Putin uses these dollars only to withdraw physical gold from the West in exchange at a price denominated in US dollars, artificially lowered by the same West.”

Don’t laugh at the idea in this article.
America is just insane enough to covertly support Ukraine developing nuclear weapons.
Ukraine Wants Nuclear Weapons: Will the West Bow to the Regime in Kiev?
https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2018/12/13/ukraine-wants-nuclear-weapons-will-west-bow-regime-kiev.html
This needs to be understood not so much in the context of punishing the Ukraine, but in the context of protecting the people of Russia. If Russian oligarchs, who have no allegiance to the Russian people, are allowed to deal with Ukrainian oligarchs, who pay their Uko workers starvation wages to produce the banned goods, to bring these goods into the Russian Federation, undercutting local Russian producers, Russia will suffer the same fate as the US, whose corporate oligarchs have outsourced working class jobs to whichever country manages to pay its workers least. The oligarchs on both shores have kept the savings for themselves rather than passing those savings to either the foreign workers through livable wages or to the US people through prices that actually reflect those savings. The result has been the de-industrialization of the US and the impoverishment of its lower classes. Protecting Russian workers from such a process is definitely the right thing to do.
So does this mean that Anglo-American sanctions against Russia are the only tools that keep manufacturing in Russia?
Saker: If the western sanctions against Russia were to be lifted, would that mean that Russia would de-industrialize and outsource all of its industry to lower wage, 3rd world countries?
I think Confectionery will hurt the most
Thanks for the very translation, with its many technical terms.
Interesting insight into technical definitions of trade goods categories.
When it comes to the common people suffering from actions taken at the level of the state: isn’t this the rule in every case? whether in war, or trade/economic war, or even tax war?
In this case, is it worth it for Russia to make a point, internationally, regarding the actual economic and political relations between it and Ukraine, which the West seems to want to deny? And also to clarify that the USA is not the only one that knows the word “sanctions.” I am sure Russia has no intention of hurting Urkainians qua humans, but as has been pointed out many times at this blog, Russia’s primary responsibility is to itself and its people, not to Ukraine and Ukrainians.
Esp. when a lot of Ukrainians seem to be already anti-Russian. Surely the Ukrainians know full well why so many of their erstwhile compatriots have fled/emigrated to Russia.
Katherine
Wow, that’s a lot of stuff! I have read and supposed from what I already know that Ukraine cannot exist without
Russia. That Ukrainian history is entwined with Russian history in a way that cannot be unwound it goes back so far. If anyone does it, the US will unwind that history in archives and replace it with complete lies.
As planned, US ownership of Ukraine is destroying it utterly. Every adult who lives there must know this, whether a Nazi or not.
The US 25,000 dollars to Constantinopal to begin the destruction of the Christian Orthodox Church in Ukraine (and globally) is proof 9/11 was US government fully supported in order to remove all law. 9/11 was allowed to start WW111 on it. Except US is still fighting WW11!
I believe that the amount is 25,000.000.
Some say it was 50,000,000, before Porkoshanko took his cut.
Anyway, it was certainly in the millions.
Fake ‘Religion’ no longer comes cheap.
Chocolate and other ready foodstuff containing cocoa [can’t be imported]
Will Porky still be the Chocolate King?
What struck me about the list was this one:
‘Furniture (chambers, cases, show-windows, counters, and similar furniture) for storage and demonstration, with built-in refrigerating or freezing appliances’
and I thought it could only be for the volatile gases now contained in refrigerating or freezing appliances. I’m no chemist, but there must be some form of logic and forward planning, however bizarre, in such a list that ranges from chocolate and fruit juice to electricity conductors and generators.
There must be more to the ban on ‘Feminine sanitary pads and tampons, children’s swaddling clothes and diapers and similar products, made from any material’ than just making life even more difficult for ordinary people already facing a bleak and constricted existence.
The ban is on imports into the Russian Federation, not exports from the RF.So the only thing Ukraine loses is Russian money, and Russians for their part can probably find alternatives to Ukrainian goods.
Russians have been using propane as a refrigerant replacement gas for decades (whether legally or illegally, I don’t know). It’s actually better than CFCs and HCFCs in most applications. The ban on “furniture” is to stop Ukrainian firms undercutting Russian firms through cheaper labour.
As for sanitary pads and diapers and the like, they are manufactured by US owned companies in the Ukraine. So pervasive were they in in the Russian market that nappies (diapers) are generically called памперс (Pampers) in Russia no matter what the brand-name is.
Did someone assess the potentail impact on Ukie economy?
‘Economy’? You mean the unpaid, (and never will be), IMF loans?
The CIA Banderists, from the Canadian terrorist mountain hideouts of the Province of Al Burdah, are living, not only on borrowed time but, on borrowed money as well.
Priceless!
They don’t need an economy, really. Just send monthly Zionazi Officialdom representatives laden with delicious eatables, and the Ukros will keep panting, drooling, shouting, and brawling forever. Too bad they botched their assignment, a.k.a. Crimea.
The use of Ukraine by the USA to accomplish it’s destruction of Russia has just begun. The necessary global defence of Ukraine has just begun but must increase in oder for the living world to survive the USA.
The list of USA desecrations is both endless and far worse than the Nazi desecrations, which is USA intended
and announced when it twice secretly sent CIA head Brennan to Kiev to discover the costs to the US citizens of inserting a globally harvested 1 to 2 hundred thousand pure Nazi army and it’s necessary infrastructure in Ukraine.
A grossly criminal action that must have been known by the US Congress and/or it’s President Obama, never reported to it’s citizens, it’s media permanently silenced under the Bush 1 & 2 & Clinton Presidents.
Law, Constitutional Law, was removed by US cabal approved 9/11. In order to begin a lawless WW111. In process today, January 3, 2018 or 17 years now.
The sanctions should not include Novorossiya, to avoid harming the Russians living in those Russian lands.
And conversely, the sanctions should target Galitzia and the robbing zioligarchs as severely as possible.
Maybe that could catalyze or accelerate the much needed process of disintegration of this crumbling fake country.
But why now? Is Russia reacting to something done very recently, or has it just lost patience after a few years of Ukraine’s coup government?
