Turkey turned into a geopolitical hotspot after brutally shooting down the Russian SU-24, flying anti-terrorist mission over the North Syria on November 24th 2015.

In the following days Russia banned most of the Turkey produce, food, manufacturing goods, construction companies, construction workers, and companies with Turkish co-owners. Russia canceled most of the trade agreements with Turkey and demanded from the private business to do the same. Russia banned tourism to Turkey. All Turkey’s cultural centers, schools and NGOs were immediately and imminently shut down. Russia moved to cut all the relationship with Turkey with a unprecedented speed, that no one ever expected from Russian government. It was almost as if the decisions had been already made, and Russians just were waiting for an excuse to implement them.
• Russia’s government introduces new sanctions against Turkey
• Russian military reveals details of ISIS-Turkey oil smuggling
There were some deep underlying reasons, why Russia’s government cut Turkey loose, and I can’t talk about them in this SITREP. Here, I am just trying to outline the situation forming around the Black Sea, between Turkey and Ukraine.
I have read, from reliable sources, that until the downing of the SU-24 and the murder of the Russian pilot and a marine, it has been Russian diplomatic policy to keep quiet about a lot of potentially very damaging information, so as not to spoil chances of diplomatic resolutions of conflicts … but with the stipulation that guilty parties do not go unpunished.
By attacking the Russian military forces, Erdogan went too far, and so have other geopolitical actors by either siding with Turkey, or failing to condemn. And these include Washington, Brussels, most NATO countries and sundry Gulf States. Ukraine took it further than anyone else, by declaring Turkey as its ally in war on Russia, and commencing joined Ukrainian-Turkey armed forces that have been located in Mariupol and Donbass regions.
For the past two years, Ukrainian population suffers terribly from the occupation of the country by the Washington regime and the Brussels regime by the means of NATO and supra-national financial organizations, IMF being one of them. Here you can find a brief outline of the major steps and PSYOPs being taken to soften Ukraine for the US corporate vultures. It posted in December 2015, but is still timely.
To keep the population of Ukraine in a state of constant stress, the regions with predominantly Russian population is being terrorized by NATO troops, pro-Kiev junta nationalists militants formations, mercenaries from around the world and Jihadists and Daesh terrorists. See, The Head of the GRU accuses US and allies of creating the transnational “Islamist” terrorist network
The rumors that Ukraine had become a hub for the illegal gun trafficking to the countries and organization affiliated with Islamic terrorist groups, like ISIS were circulating for a couple of years, along with the rumors of a steady traffic of jihadi terrorists via Ukraine to Europe under the cover of migrants from Ukraine. They are mainly concentrating in Poland and Germany, right now.
- Ukraine is supplying ISIS with weapons laundered via Qatar.
- ISIS and Turkish Grey Wolves are established in Ukraine.
- Russia has invoked the UN procedure for self-defense against ISIS and its supporters.
Finally, there is a very interesting development with the state of Ukraine’s healthcare. In December 2015, Ukraine and especially its southern regions of Odessa and Kharkov, started experiencing a deadly flu epidemic. About 6% of the Ukrainian population suffers from the unusual deadly flue virus H3N2 and H1N1, which is swine flu that takes two days, turns into severe pneumonia and death. [source]
People ask questions, like: Have NATO bio labs located in Kharkov and Odessa released H3N2 flu virus? Hundreds have died in December only. It takes about two days for an infected person to die. The majority of dead are men. Hospitals and emergency rooms are filled beyond capacity, many schools are closed. Some towns declared the state of emergency. Ukrainian media is completely silent on the matter, along with the Kiev junta. People are writing to the Russia’s media, asking to interfere and to prevent the population from dying out. The elevated level of mortality is being seen in Odessa, Kiev and Kiev region, Kharkov, and Vinnitsa.
Irena Sysoeva, the member of parliament for healthcare, writes on her FB page that 5.7% of population are effected, 70% of all infected are pregnant women and children. Kiev authorities have been silent on the matter. Officially 25 people died of flu in December. Unofficially, many hundreds.
It could be that Americans are developing new biological weapon against Russians. Genetically, Russians in Russia and in Novorossia are identical. 50% is Haplogroup R1a1, and 20-25% I1 , I2. That’s why NATO labs located in Odessa and Kharkov. Are they making a bio “gift” for Russia?
The significant spike in the European and American clinical trials on humans in Ukraine confirms the worst.
EBA – The European Business Association, Ukraine. was proud to co-organize one of the biggest clinical trials conference in Ukraine in November 2015.
Clinical Trials Subcommittee of the Health Care Committee of EBA
The Clinical Trials Subcommittee unites R&D (Research and Development) pharmaceutical companies and CROs (Contract Research Organizations).
The main activities of the Subcommittee are focused on conducting
clinical trials in Ukraine and the harmonization of local regulations through cooperation with state bodies.
Clinical Trials
Clinical trials investigate the effects of medicines by testing them on humans. Clinical trials are an essential stage in the development of new treatments, and they also have a wide range of benefits for patients and the state.
On November 20th, 2015 the 5th Scientific Conference ‘Clinical Trials in Ukraine’
took place. The Conference was organized by the State Enterprise ‘State Expert Center
of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine’ (SEC) and the European Business Association Clinical Trials Subcommittee
The Conference was supported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (MoH) and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.
This event gathered over 680 clinical trial professionals, medical doctors and scientists from Ukraine, and international experts from the Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, and Austria presented such reports as:

The application rate for clinical trials has increased since mid 2015 (please see the table below). https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153930285460362
This positive trend, inter alia ,is caused by significant improvement of the regulatory and fiscal environment for clinical trials operations in Ukraine:
• import VAT rate for investigational products was reduced from 20% to 7%
• import permits were abolished
• regulatory approval timeframe was reduced from 60 to 55 days
• study submission procedures were simplified
• verification procedure of the insurance agreement text was simplified.

10. ISIS in Ukraine issued statement in support for ISIS and against Russian anti-terrorists actions in Syria
December 3, 2015
The InformNapalm international volunteer community joins the Open Statement by the Ukrainian Muslims. We also urge you not to fall for the misinformation and information speculations of the Russian propaganda. Our actions in the information field for the collection and making publicly available data on the pilots of the Russian Federation air forces, executing criminal orders of the Kremlin in Syria, also have been slandered by the Russian media and named ‘help for ISIS’. Although, in fact, these investigations are aimed at informing the world community about the hybrid actions of the Russian occupation forces, which bomb peaceful settlements, kill women, children and the elderly.
The text of the Statement
“In recent days the Russian propaganda attempts to present Ukraine and, in particular, the Ukrainian Muslims, especially Muslim volunteers in ATO, as allies or even secret agents of ISIS became more frequent.”
“Attaching the ‘ISIS’ label on the opponents cannot be treated as something new in the Kremlin’s politics. It all started with naming ‘ISIS’ the moderate opposition in Syria, which is bombed by the Kremlin under the guise of fighting against the ‘Islamic State’, while actually completely different forces (including troops of the Sunni opposition to the Assad’s regime) fight with it. Now the Kremlin is trying to present Turkey, a NATO member whose forces strike ISIS, as ISIS’s ally.”
“As for Ukraine, then during the whole period of the Russian aggression against it, the Kremlin tried to discredit Ukraine in the eyes of the international community, portraying the patriots and freedom fighters as the Nazis, executioners, etc. Now it is trying to use the fact of Muslim volunteers’ participation in the war on the side of Ukraine, linking them, of course, through Turkey, to ISIS.”
“This pursues several goals. Firstly, to discredit Ukraine in the eyes of its European allies. Secondly, to strike on the emerging cooperation between Ukraine and the Muslim world (from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey to the oppressed Muslim peoples of the Russian Empire, who are the natural allies of Ukraine).”
“We, Muslims, who participate in the ATO in one way or another, declare that we do not represent ISIS in Ukraine, and we urge you to recall that the leaders and propagandists of ISIS (for example, the famous Abu Jihad) in their time conducted a campaign against participation of the Muslims in the the ATO on the side of Ukraine. Their ideologists openly called us apostates, denying the right to be Muslims, because of our decision to be on the side of Ukraine rather than emigrate to ISIS and join them.”
“Anyone familiar with the ideology of ISIS, knows what they consider to be their enemies the supporters of Ichkeria, and all those who fight in the armies of non-Muslim states.”
“As for us, we support the European choice of Ukraine as the one which guarantees the right for free religious life of its citizens, including Muslims. And we do not want the terror, that exists in totalitarian Russia, to come to our home, as it happened in the Crimea. Ukraine was also supported by members of the liberation movements of the Muslim peoples of the Russian Empire. ISIS conceptually can not have any relationship with these two facts, because they deny both the life of Muslims in non-Muslim countries and the struggle for national interests.”
“In view of the above, we address to the Ukrainian military-political leadership, intelligence agencies, media and citizens with an appeal not to succumb to the Russian provocations, aimed to expose the Ukrainian Muslim volunteers as ISIS supporters and Ukraine as its ally.”
“Neither Ukraine, which has become a victim of the Russian aggression, nor any of its Muslims, struggling together with their country for the religious freedom (and thus bringing liberation from Moscow’s oppression of Muslims of the Russian Empire) did anything to make excuses for. The only one who have to justify himself is the insidious enemy who fights against the freedom-loving forces under the pretext of the fight against fascism or ISIS, and who is actually the main fascist and terrorist of the modern world.”

New Kyiv Center Aims to Consolidate Pro-Ukrainian Muslims and Pro-Islamic Ukrainians writes Paul Goble in the Interpreter Magazine. According to this veteran anti-Russia warrior on Khodorkovsky’s patrol Paul A Goble: the Ukrainian Muslim Center in Kiev, was organized by Aleksandr Bondarenko, editor of the Ukrainian pages of the Slavic-Islamic League, Ali Nuriyev, an Istanbul blogger, and and Alexandr Ogorodnikov of Odessa’s Slavic Jamaat.
Interesting that “Discussions about the possibility of forming such an umbrella organization began in 2007, but personality clashes among some of the people involved and suspicions of outsiders about what such a group would in fact do – many feared it would be a Trojan horse for Islamist radicalism – prevented agreement on such a body.” “Many Muslims from traditionally Islamic communities and many non-Muslims believe that converts from non-“ethnically Muslim” nations like the Ukrainians are likely to be radical.”
It’s important to notice that the reaction of the Ukrainians on Islamization of the war against Donbass region or ATO as Kiev junta calls it, has been muted so far.

I wrote back in May 2015 that while we’re fighting the Islamic State, a.k.a. ISIS, in Iraq and Syria, and the American officials tout the alleged danger of an attack on the US homeland; Washington and the Caliphate are fighting on the same side in Ukraine. A remarkable series of articles by Marcin Mamon in The Intercept has documented an aspect of the Ukraine conflict that no one else has paid any attention to: the role played by the “Dudayev Battalion,” a fighting force of radical Islamists consisting of Chechens, but also including fighters from throughout the Caucasus as well as some Ukrainians.

Military capability of Erdogan’s hawks
Before we look at the Turkey Armed forces capability, here an insightful roundup of the Erdogan character and his politics, expressed by one of the ZeroHedge readers:
“Constantinople” means “City of Constantine”, ie Constantine + Polis (city).
Istanbul is a Turkish transliteration of the Greek term, “On (or to) The City” (“eis tan polin” in Greek). It was a figure of speech, much like New Yorkers say, when they have to travel back to Manhattan after a weekend in the Hamptons, “It’s time to go back to The City”.
So, the Turks can’t even name a city that they conquered, they just call it “The City”. But then, Turks never had surnames before Attaturk gave them surnames. Mustafa Kemal made up a list of some twenty-odd surnames, and every Turk had to choose one. Modernization and all. If Erdogan can take a break from [removed allegations, Scott] and dreaming of a revival of the Sublime Porte, maybe he could think straight. I guess he’s just following his leader, [removed, Scott] Obama.”

Turkish military is one of the most capable and powerful in the world
Yevgeny Satanovsky a Director of the Institute of the Middle East (27:30)
Let’s talk about the Turkish military
December 2nd, 2015
1. Military take an active part in the political life of Turkey.
2. Turkish military is about 500,000 servicemen, without the Costal Guards and Gendarmerie (military police). 3600 tanks, about 40 jets are capable to carry nuclear missiles. The Turkey’s Incirlik base stocks at least 50 such US weapons.
“Incirlik Air Base is the largest nuclear weapons storage site in Europe with 25 underground vaults, each of which can hold up to four bombs for a maximum total base capacity of 100 bombs, according to FAS. There are an estimated 50 B61 thermonuclear bombs stored there — a quarter of the U.S. stockpile of the weapon, which can be carried by F-16s and other aircraft.”
Turkey’s military capability is 2nd after the US in NATO and 17th place in the world.
See above links to globalfirepower.com for the statistics.
Turkish Armed Forces
Turkish Land Forces
The most battle worthy is the 3rd Army (Erzincan) Army that directed against Armenia; and 2nd Malatia Army directed against Syria. Right now the Turkish military is going through modernization process, after which it will increase its capability, …
Turks don’t have air-space forces like Russia, but they might be able to use the US capability in this respect. They have at least 5 air bases that we know practically everything about including their personnel vehicles license plates numbers.
The most qualified forces are located near Syrian border and near territory of the Northern Iraq, which says a lot about Turkey’s plans for these territories.
Now is the time when we should calmly talk about the Turkey’s armed forces. Out Institute of the Middle East exists exactly for this sort of purpose. So, we could analyze the reality of the situation, without listening to the hysterical screaming about us “being crazy to start a war with NATO.”
There are some technical aspects that we call “what’s your problem.” We don’t want to create this situation, but we can…
OK, here is a kind and thoughtful question from Saint-Petersburg: “Where are we going to bury all of them?”
First, Turkey has a big territory. Second, there is plenty of room in the seas. Third, why would we do that? Are we going to have a war with Turkey? No. But, we have to be prepared for the war. If we don’t want war, we have to be well prepared for it. The Great Patriotic war was a terrible example of not being prepared for war. We have learned from this experience, and we don’t want to repeat it.
Comrade Stalin used to say: “If there is a man, there is a problem. If there is no man, there is no problem.” The fact that Erdogan has won the last elections and went completely ballistic, doesn’t make neither the US, no the Europeans happy. He is for some reason convinced that he won everything from everybody, because he finally pushed the Europeans to the limit. The USA is standing aside, like they have nothing to do with anything. He is the most erdoganiest of all erdogans. Look, in Ukraine his militants annulled the electric grid of the entire Crimea, and no one touched them even with a finger. And Poroshenko is his biggest friend and ally. Erdogan is very similar to Saakashvili by his mentality and by the way he acts. For the exception, Erdogan has stronger nervous system and doesn’t chew on random objects. Of cause, Saakashvili had never had this kind of money, like Erdogan. I am talking about the personality in general. Erdogan acts without thinking about the consequences. He just throws things at the wall and hopes that they will stick. If they don’t, he doesn’t care.
When Saakashvili had attacked the Russian troops in South Ossetia, he tried to call the US president, but he was refused. He called the vice-president, but also was refused. He talked to some Washington apparatchiks, and they were nice to him, so he decided that they gave him the green light. The green light to where? Just like Saddam Hussein after taking to an American Ambassador, decided that they gave him a permission to attack Kuwait.
We can look at the 18th century wars, and the 19th century wars, we can see that the Europeans have always facilitated wars between Russia and Turkey and always, without exception, had been taking the side of Turkey.
If we look at the situation today, when Turkey is a member of NATO, the mechanism is absolutely the same. I don’t know. Maybe we should denounce the Moscow Treaty of 1921, as a signal. [source] [source]
Maybe we should back ratify the Treaty of Sevres of 1920, which left absolutely nothing of Turkey. If it wasn’t for the Soviet Russia, there will be no Turkey today.
I am not a politician; I don’t work for the government, that’s why I can say things that Lavrov, for example, can’t say. Agree, that the Minister of Defense can’t call Erdogan “a son of a dog,” like I have done. People, Europe and the US hate Erdogan. They will be only happy if Erdogan resigns. They will thank us. Especially, they are grateful for what was made public at the Ministry of Defense briefing. They can’t reveal this information, being in NATO, but we can. He knows that they know that he isn’t trustworthy. And they know that he knows that they know that he isn’t trustworthy.
Thank you for your time,
Scott

Home decorating hints on how to trick out your bathroom like a boss.
Istanbul (AFP) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday invited the opposition to inspect his gigantic presidential palace for gold-plated toilet seats, vowing to resign if they could prove their allegations of his bathroom bling.
Erdogan’s 1,150-room palace, which was built at a cost of around 490 million euros ($615 million), has been condemned by critics as an absurd extravagance and held up as proof he is slipping further into authoritarianism.

Hmmm,I remember when Yanukovich building a big house was enough for the West to “freak out” and condemn him. And enough for Ukrainians, who were not as poor as the Turkish people are, to overthrow him. I guess if you are a Western stooge you can get away with murder. And oh yes,I mean literally, “get away with murder”.
A little googling would have let know that Turkey has 10,971.66 USD per capital and Ukraine has 3,900.47 USD per capital.
That is now! But its not even about PCI (which is meaningless being averaged between billionaires and homeless people). It’s about level of life. And minus the big cities and hot tourist areas. The Anatolian villages have a level of poverty and lack of modernity that was far worse. That you didn’t see in Ukraine. In even the poorest areas under Yanukovich. If you had had a choice of being a poor person in Ukraine or Turkey in 2012,most people I believe, would pick Ukraine. Now since then, under the junta. The level may be getting much closer. Not by the Turkish lifestyle improving much. But by the Ukrainian one collapsing.
It was 2013 figure. Are you telling me Ukraine’s wealth is more equally distributed?
Turkey is almost 3 time more rich on average than Ukraine. No need to justify your misinformation, ideology, or maybe laziness by picking out a group of people who may live in isolated, remote place compare to plains of rich fertile land of Ukraine. It only put Ukraine in worse light. No one want to live in isolated area in any country. It does not mean Ukraine is better than Turkey. It is not.
Turkey does not have gold rice bawl of pipe line income every year, or rich energy to sale for a profit. There is no need to kick some one when they are down, it is much against Confucius teaching.

“On January 14, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Ukraine signed a protocol on setting competitive subsidized tariffs for shipments via Trans-Caspian international transport route
Belarus and Kazakhstan seem very happy to help US/Nazi Ukraine out despite being in the Eurasian Economic Union with Russia. I am baffled by this – Russia has already included Kaz in the China deal (& Belarus) – why are they getting into bed with US/EU – what will the Chinese say? One to watch…..
The meeting between Nuland and Putin Aide seems to have been “constructive” ” fruitful”
http://tass.ru/en/politics/850068
Here’s a press release by DHL:
“Freight travelling via the corridor departs from Lianyungang, China and traverses three Central Asian countries – Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia – as well two sea transit segments and is expected to take around 14 days, depending on travelling conditions before arriving in Istanbul, with the option for immediate forwarding by truck to any Turkish city.”
http://www.cn.dhl.com/en/press/releases/releases_2015/local/121715.html
Or,Chinese goods can hop on a train in China go straight thru Kazakhstan and Russia (no other borders to cross. No seas to cross.) and enter the EU. Hmmm, which one would be easier. Not really a hard question to answer. Oh,and BTW the Turkey route will lead those trains through a civil war zone as well. I wonder if the insurance companies will charge more for that. They do with ships and dangerous routes. So its likely they will with trains as well.
Chinese goods where go where it can be traded, and be appreciated, Russia or not.
Biological warfare? We should not be surprised. It is hard to understand the depth of evil in the minds of the Homo Troglodytes that are running the US Deep State. The body of Allen Dulles may be in his grave but his spirit still walks the earth and lusts for destruction and death.
Actually this is genetic warfare and a nuclear response is needed!
This is not the chemical and biological warfare the US used in Korea.
Sorry, but I think in this instance any biological warfare is unlikely.
In Russia, back in the autumn, it was already announced that the seasonal flu this year is going to be of the swine type (mutated from that strain), and the vaccine was developed accordingly. The Russian health minister strongly recommended vaccination to all on TV.
I don’t know anything really about whether the US is spreading bio-warfare in Ukraine. And if that is why so many people are sick. But there may be something to that fear. I have a doctor friend in Donetsk who told me that there are a lot of people sick and several have died in Donetsk hospitals. With a flu type illness that they don’t know what caused it. He said they don’t have enough medicine to treat them. And so far they have appealed to Russia without results. He is quite worried about it. And was telling people to stay away from crowds to limit the spread of germs. If that is found to be true. Then there needs to be instant punishment.Involving the execution of any and all involved in it.
To follow up on this (it enrages me as you can tell). Is it that hard for a specialized doctor to see symptoms of the disease . Or for bodies to be autopsied and the threat be confirmed (or not confirmed). And if it is confirmed a criminal case should be opened in Donetsk. Those involved tried,if need be in absentia. And if found guilty sentenced to death. With the order given they can be executed at any moment located. Allowing any LDPR military or law enforcement personnel to deal with them anywhere found in the World. The Novorossian version of “targeted killings”. Something they should have been doing for 2 years now with the junta and fascist volunteers BTW.

Extreme high level of vitamin “C” should stop this infection to spread. The best is to eat 1 lemon every single day on the empty stomach. It was proved by the science many years ago, but it was quietly forgotten
Thanks,I didn’t know that. I’ll tell him. But I’m not sure if they can get lemons in large numbers in Donetsk.
Vitamin C in mega-doses will work in the form of ascorbic acid, not lemons. You’d have to eat a tonne of lemons to get anywhere near the doses needed. And the sicker you are the more Vitamin C can be taken before reaching bowel tolerance.
Who wrote this? I can’t find the author’s name.
This is terrible news if only half true.
I’m no chess player but I can read the writing on the wall.
Shooting from the hip, I’d say Russia better practice what she preaches about sovereignty, beginning with her central bank. She’s trying to cut a deal with the devil, and he jumps on weakness like a cat on a rat.
Germ warfare is nasty and despicable. But it pales in comparison with metastatic money.
Vlad the mongoose and Vira the cobra are in a dance of death. One false move or prolonged indecision and the goose laying the golden eggs is cooked.
There is a reason why the church fathers condemned usury even after they made their deal with the 666 Roman empire devil.
I don’t take interest on my money. I abhor the investor-divestor racket. I’m only a grain of sand on the Kremlin plaza but within that grain is the energy of all the stars.
Vineyarders all, wake up. Our destiny is to save Russia by being that grain of sand in the Kremlin’s blind eye. It’s irritating but as Jesus sort of said: take the stick out of your good eye first and then you can deal with the motes of dust.
The empire has a money stick and it’s beating Russia below the belt. See Sergei Glazyev’s articles of a few months ago.
Worse, the empire is man-handing and raping Russian mothers and daughters Cologne style unbeknownst to the victims while the fathers stand by like deer in headlights, monetary-wise.
When the imperial pigeon is knocking over the chess pieces, that’s one thing but when it shits on the board it’s time for the saker falcon to get off his mountain perch and sink its talons into pigeon flesh and carry it off for recycling.
OK, so my rhetoric is overwrought. Like I said, I’m no chess player, especially when there’s a firestorm consuming everything around them. I fancy myself as Cassandra crying out that military might is not enough if we don’t do what’s right.
What if Russia is also part of the big play for NWO.
We have all been lied to.The only way to save us is tabula rasa.
What krap.. and I do mean what crap.. I know the US is working on dna sequencing and gene therapy and genetic modifications but on humans?
The risks are so great that anything deadly created on purpose turning viral and mutating can use an extinction type event. I highly doubt there is a single gene that only Russians have and no one else. It is usually a whole bunch of genes common to a particular group but part of that could also be found on a lot of groups. So no matter how advanced you get, it wont just be one set of people you kill. Maybe in a few hundred years when you can program dna. The crude methods they use now is a giant bomb just waiting to go off. Many cases of outbreaks n Africa is just because something they are working on got lose. I have doubts if Ebola was also a weaponised version that was created to work on the least common human denominator. Which is far easier than making it target a particular group.
And it wont matter anyway. If the US uses weapons such as this the dead mans switch goes off. And although it might kill a lot of slavs.. would that also include closely related? What about Asians? most of Russia is in asia. If anything this would wipe off most of the white race.. Many in the world would be looking forward to such. But soon it would mutate and wipe out who knows what else. They cant cure the cold/flu for this exact reason.
Saddam had a multi million man army..
And the Syrian army was over 500,000 men.. And they could not do what less than 5000 Hezbollah had done. Captured the entire Lebanese border region back from terrorists at a cost of like 700 men compared to the tens of thousands the Syrians lost.
I am sure turks are great fighters against weaker opponents. They did put up a good fight against the british. And as part of the UN forces against the Koreans but they also took far higher casualties. And as we see, motivation matters a lot. The millions of troops the US trained in korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq all turned to krap.
Now look how the yemini’s without any US training are doing against US trained troops. It shows you need will power and motivation to fight for your rights. Also why the jihadis are such good fighters in small groups.
.
So this is what the other side of the fence thinks.. Both seems to be headless chickens.. But one has friend in a total lunatic and well I suppose they both hang out with lunatics. What a bunch..
Israel is crying about being run over by the Russian bus. All the photos of Hezbollah running off with the latest and greatest Russian weapons had caused strokes and constipation for nutyahoo.
Putin bypasses Israel, sets up joint war room for S. Syria with Jordan
With all due respect to the Jordanian monarch, his military and his intelligence services, they are not exactly qualified for the role of coordinator between the two world powers. The US and Russian presidents handle this in person. And in fact, the new Russian-Jordanian war room did come up, according to our Washington and Moscow sources, in the latest telephone conversation between the two presidents on Jan. 13.
Obama then held a quick meeting with King Abdullah at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and asked for an explanation.
For the various rebel militias holding out in large parts of southern Syria, including the Israeli border regions, the new Jordanian-Russian war room is bad news. Hitherto, Jordan provided the rebels with their main pipeline for fighters, weapons and funds from the US, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The US even ran training camps in Jordan for Syrian rebel fighters.
This pipeline is now likely to be shut down or reduced to a minimum.
By teaming up with Jordan for a joint war room to cover operations in southern Syria, Putin has gone around Netanyahu’s back and acquired a helper for evicting Syrian rebels from southern Syria.

Thugtator’s huge push on crackdown of any dissent anywhere, not just vs whatever passes for a free media there but academia, looks to be in full swing.

As the crackdown on Turkish academics who signed a declaration on Monday calling for an end to violence in Turkey’s Kurdish majority Southeast continues, the office doors of several academics were marked with red crosses and threatening messages targeting them were left.
More than 1,000 academics from 89 universities across Turkey and from outside the country signed a petition criticizing the government’s policies in the Southeast and calling for peace and released it early this week.

Slightly off topic but there is a growing tendency I have noticed lately which I find highly disturbing. It has now been reported that the western German town of Bornheim has now banned refugees from attending the public swimming baths because of complaints of alleged “sexual harassment” from local women:
http://sputniknews.com/europe/20160115/1033213927/refugees-assault-germany-pool.html
This is coming on top of the pub in Bavaria banning refugees from entry again because of alleged sexual harassment.
It does make me wonder what in the eyes of the local women would constitute “sexual harassment”. If a group of refugees see an attractive girl passing by and they wolf whistle at her would this be considered sexual harassment ? Or if a young male refugee attempts to strike up a conversation with a German girl as any normal male might attempt to do will this also be seen as sexual harassment ? Or would a refugee looking at a German Frau be also be seen as sexual harassment ? And would the above examples if done by German males instead of refugees be also seen as sexual harassment or does the harassment part of it entirely depend upon the perceived nationality of the person involved ?
I hate to say but it looks very much like history starting to repeat itself only now instead of jews being the object of hatred it is muslims in particular and foreigners in general. I think the fluechtlingen currently in Germany must be starting to know how the jews in Germany felt after Hitler and his Nazis took over.
We need facts as to exactly what this harassment consists of.
I don’t think it makes sense to jump to the conclusions that the harassment is in the minds of the recipients.
.
I can tell you that I was basically stalked in both Paris and Florence by immigrants from the ME (at least that is how they looked) already back in my college years. I could not enjoy walking around these cities because I would notice someone following me. This was somewhat different from the on-the-street harassment meted out by young male Italians who would crowd women who obviously were traveling non-Italian students and could not easily and quickly retort and defend themselves verbally in Italian. Obviously, this is harassment. Also, extremely unpleasant, but somewhat less creepy and anxiety-producing than realizing that one is actually being followed.
It is for women to determine these parameters, not men. Women are the ones affected by behaviors that constrict their ability to use and enjoy the public space freely and without anxiety. Most women have the common sense to distinguish between a genuine friendly approach and an unacceptable one. It is sad that many young men from the MENA have probably never had normal friendly or even romantic relations with women. But that doesn’t mean that they can be given a pass in Western Europe to treat women there inappropriately.
I have to say that I was shocked by the Saker’s stating that the rest of the world views Western women as sluts. Well, maybe Western women view the “rest of the world’s” men as disgusting animals who childishly and illogically justify their various types of importunings via their degrading view of Western women. How conveniently circular.

“I have to say that I was shocked by the Saker’s stating that the rest of the world views Western women as sluts. Well, maybe Western women view the “rest of the world’s” men as disgusting animals who childishly and illogically justify their various types of importunings via their degrading view of Western women. How conveniently circular.”
I think both views are correct. I don’t mean the “views” themselves are “right”. I mean that that is much the way both groups view the other. In Western society, the way of life of “some” (many) Western women is totally acceptable and normal (I’m not saying it shouldn’t be ,also.) But in most of the World, societies are more conservative. And that lifestyle isn’t considered acceptable. I think imagine the social norms of the 1950’s in the West. And you have an idea of much of the World’s social norms today.Thinking of how your great grandparents would see morals, and you have the idea. One small example is,when I was a kid, men and women in movies and on TV couldn’t even be seen in the same bed in the US. And if you saw them going to bed (in their “separate” beds) they were in PJ’s or long robes (no skin showing). They barely could kiss, and certainly no sex on the screen. All of that is totally different in the West today. But that thinking about “values” is still alive in many other areas.
I agree with Uncle Bob here. Many non western parts of the world still hold conservative traditional values which is why many parts of the world look with horror on western “cultural values” like gay marriage etc.
The point I was making in my above post is that with all the current hysteria which shows no signs of abating over the “migrant hordes ravaging European women” there is going to come a time when no refugee or migrant would even dare look at any woman on the street for fear of being accused of “sexual harassment”, shades of South African apartheid where no black African dared look at a white woman in public.
Migrants have been living in Europe for decades without any problems but anyone currently reading European MSM would be under the impression they have only just got there and that most dont know how to behave.
Once I gave a woman a ride to a gathering we had because I knew her a little bit, not much obviously.. So we went the guys house who was in charge of the business and she went her way and I went to talk to the guy who I dealt with for an year or so. And him and a couple of other guys who are also part of this business we were talking some technical stuff and like and she comes over and makes some chit chat and starts flirting but I was not particularly paying attention to her other than just some small talk as all the guys were talking about security and access and user problems and such and the guy said something to me about relationships and this woman just yells at the top of her voice don’t ***king touch me. The entire room of like 50 people just started looking and I looked at him to ask is he knew what was going on since he was standing right in front of me and the other 2 guys were 2-3 feet on either sides. Now this is a big guy and was the biggest guy in the room and towers over me. He did not say anything and we continued what we were talking about. She just got angry like why no one took her side because since most of the room did not know me would have thought I did something as we came together and she was around me when they saw me and then she made a big fuzz over something I did.
It did scare the hell out of me. Although to this day I wonder what the heck happened. He must have seen such behavior since he never mentioned it and the night went like always. But I saw her standing far away talking to some other women. And since he made the rules there and knew me pretty well in my behavior he never approached it as I did anything as he saw me since I arrived there and we were together the entire night. If it was at some random event where people don’t know you, they would think you did something. Probably have called the police and such and what she says would be what they believe.
Since then I always don’t take what I see happen just like that. I try to find out what happened and as you can see in this case, those watching would not know and make up things. Only me and the guy would know exactly what happened and the other 2 guys standing a few feet away would wonder if I did something.
I bring this up because even looking at a video of it with the woman walking around me and talking to me and such, I never touched her and was only polite and even though she made some sexual references I never did. The fuzz she caused for no apparent reason known to only her would have caused a commotion. Someone just lost it and went ape with a sexual reference.. Just like that.. For no apparent reason. Lots of other men and women around as well and she knew them a lot more than she knew me, she being a user and me being a technical director where I solve the technical problems customers like her might find.. But she did not know that. She wanted attention and thought it would be fun to play a game on some stupid idiot..
Now this is a bad thing to assume but in many cases I bet something like this is what is going on. I have seen random women throw a fit like this. Throw things at people or someone and then get angry and make a scene. It is bad that when something does happen, others who went through such experiences wont right away assume there is a problem. If this had not happened to me I would never have believed it. I can see in high school and such you would play pranks but in real life?
It is also why police reports take statements from 10 people and they would all say something different. Heck some would actually say the guy ran over the bus or ran to the bus or jumped over the bus etc.. Perceptions make a lot of difference to what happened in a situation. The conclusions you come to might not be accurate or even close to the truth.
@ uncle Bob “All of that is totally different in the West today. But that thinking about “values” is still alive in many other areas.”
and etc.
Of course as an adult woman I know all of this. Much as I respect UB1, he does not provide any news here and his post sounds to me a bit like “mansplaining.”
First, please note that I said “*maybe* Western women view . . . ” I did not say they do, nor that I do. I don’t know very many non-Western males. And I am very aware of taking responsibility for my own safety wherever I am, whether traveling abroad, or in the States—or when I lived in New York City. My proposition was intended to highlight with a counterstatement the IMO removed. Please no insulting, within the context, of the Saker’s assertion.
The point is, who determines acceptable behavior in a particular setting. You may recall how easily Americans were shocked by European women’s bikinis in the fifties. Americans are still shocked and overtitillated, I am sure, by “oben ohne” in Germany and France.
And what about the minuscule patches that go for bathing suits in on the beach at Copacabana!! At the ponds surrounding Berlin you would see (at least, when I was last there) people changing into their bathing suits on the beach, no embarrassment. Perfectly natural. There are various nude beaches in the States. People who use these beach areas are expected to respect the unspoken rules of behavior. No staring and “perving.” If one doesn’t feel comfortable in this setting, don’t go there.
As I said, it is a shame if some non-Western men have so little experience of normal women as human beings that they cannot actually see them as human. Every woman has a right to defend herself as best she can if confronted with unacceptable male behavior from any quarter.
If the rest of the world regards Western women as provocative sluts, one probably can’t change the minds of people who think this. But one can constrain their behavior.
Furthermore, while we are on the subject, no woman is obliged to follow through in any romantic/sexual way if she does not choose to do so. Sure, she may be inviting. She may be seductive. It may look like she is making an invitation. She may be doing so. But an invitation is not a promise, nor an obligation. Hey! Men do not have a monopoly on lying and misleading and humiliating and abruptly changing their minds in the war of the sexes.
But men, physically stronger and thus “weaponized,” must control themselves.

Please can all the commenters who wish to carry on this conversation go to the correct post on the site. This SITREP is about Ukraine/Turkey/ISIS. Also please stop the personal attacks.
It’s long past time for these so-called “mores” to be dumped into the ash-can of history.
They are the vestigial remnants of the status of women in savage tribal cultures, where women were accorded the same rights as a pair of shoes or a toilet brush. The religions concocted by these ancient tribes (which still afflict us today) were designed to justify and perpetuate the savage treatment of women-as-property.
That women today are, in some cultures at least and along with their LGBT contemporaries, blasting out of those ancient constraints constitutes one of the best reasons to hope that civilization will, at some bright day in the future, become civil at last.

That’s Yats – not Poroshenko for readers.
Still just more rumors. It might be a good thing. Though I’m not so sure. Yats is such a fool and easy to dislike. That he does half the work for us. I think having him in place might be a good thing for a while. He’s worth at least an extra division for Russia.

With all the prevailing hysteria currently at play in all the newspapers and MSM since the new years eve and MSM fanning the hysteria this is something I am not too sure about and wish I could be as confident about it as you are.
Men of middle eastern and arab origin have been living in Europe and specifically in Germany for decades without any problems or comments on
their behaviour whatsoever, until now and people would think arab immigrants have only just arrived in Europe. I personally over the years have known men from such places as Algeria, Morocco, etc., and while many of them were serial womanisers who tried getting into bed with as many attractive women as they could they also knew where to draw the line as one of them said if you dont succeed with a woman theres plenty more fish in the sea, not that they ever seemed to have problems in attracting women as with one in particular seemed to have a different girl on his arm every time I saw him.
And incidentally the Saker was right in his estimation as a lot of men from middle eastern countries have told me they have fun with British girls ( I cannot speak for other European countries) but would never marry one .

I think it’s hardly possible that US is spreading some sort of mysterious bio weapon across Ukraine. It’s too risky for them plus they’d create huge problems for their european allies with such move. I think there it is a result of two factors. First, lack of gas/coal/electricity forces big chunk of citizenry to freeze in their apartments, plus malnutrition, lack of medicines/vaccines, stress etc. resulting from catastrophic drop in overall condition of Ukraine’s economy. Second: lots of mercenaries from abroad, including ISIS & friends coming from truly failed states – some of them would bring really unpleasant microbes along with them. These two factors create truly dangerous scenario which we’re problably seeing developing in Ukraine. Of course, there is always a slim chance of Uncle Sam executing its ‘spoiling attack’ on Europe and Asia (as notorious criminal George Friedman eloquently talks about in his conferences) but I think it’s not the most probable one.
You don’t think it possible for the US to be spreading a bio weapon? But who are you referring to when you say the US? There are just too many off the books rogue CIA operations since that insufferable organization was created to not consider it. Allen Dulles was up to his neck in off the book operations funded by his corporate buddies. How about the JFK assassination, a good example. Then there was the contra drug funded operation in Central America.
Consider the many bio labs the US has set up in Eastern Europe and now in Ukraine. Don’t you think that Ukrainians are working in those labs and just might be involved with Right Sector, etc? That a rogue CIA operative might just give someone that works in one of those labs a monetary incentive. There are many very rich fanatical Russia haters that might fund it.
Since I heard several years ago about the US bio labs being set up in Eastern Europe I have been waiting for some evidence of the use of bio weapons. This might be it. We’ll see.
If it is they would need to be targeted for special ops and targeted killings. I really would have thought they would have been when they first were reported on. If I was in the intelligence services of the LDPR or Russia that would be a priority assignment to my agents. To search them out and eliminate them and the people working at them. That is a game you don’t play. And only a firm response will show the empire that. You eliminate those involved and then let them know you will eliminate any others as long as they continue with that program.
@ Uncle Bob1
Bob1,
I’d take these reports from Ukraine with a grain of salt, especially when they start playing fast and loose with statements like:
It could be that Americans are developing new biological weapon against Russians. Genetically, Russians in Russia and in Novorossia are identical. 50% is Haplogroup R1a1, and 20-25% I1 , I2. That’s why NATO labs located in Odessa and Kharkov. Are they making a bio “gift” for Russia?
If this was some sort of “bio” weapon targeted at Russian men carried R1a1 haplogroup, then it should affect the men of Northern-Central/North-Western India, 70% of which (lower-castes) carry the R1a1 haplogroup. In addition to the prevalence of this Y chromosome haplogroup in NATO enthusiasts, the Baltic states, and Poland where it is in 40-60% of all men. This sounds like Ukrainian rumor-mongering mixed with pseudo-science. I’d go with the more rational explanation offered by RLE that it’s a combination of lowered income, cold, stress, deficits in anti-oxidents and filthy foreign mercenaries.
Chernobyl has been poisoning Ukrainians and attacking their immune systems for 30 years.
I sometimes wonder if it is partially behind some of the absurd behavior there.
The Sky is Falling:
And it may (actually), be falling; the Zionist American imperialists are (as we speak), attempting to establish a -Uni-Polar New World Order. They represent -One close grouping of oligarchs who aim to control all the peoples of the entire planet, extract their labor as cheaply as possible, in order to extract all the wealth of the planet, as quick and cheaply as possible. They want More; and they want it all.
Humanity will be reduced to the status of insect species; laboring and worshiping their betters. In this case (unlike the community insects), the wealth will not be shared, but sent to the top of the pyramid.
*Wait a minute! Most of this has already happened. But for a relative few holdouts, this is the way it is. What Scott is describing is quite true. The condition of humanity is not bright. Dozens of nations have been occupied and destroyed, millions of humans have been butchered and dispersed, (and that is if we begin counting on November 22, 1963).
The numbered comments below summarize -my critique (not criticism) of Scott’s “Sky is Falling” SITREP.
1. George Orwell wrote this same missive in 1984. Scott just reprinted it and signed his name. It’s OK Scott, I won’t tell anyone.
2. The defeat of the Axis in 1945, purchased some time for humanity, and that time for healing, and taking a deep breath has long since expired. The Palestinians, in particular, have been the last to suffer for, and to be billed for the World War II crimes of the fascist nations. The Palestinians are also being billed (additional sums), for the crimes of the victorious imperialist powers.
3. Scott wrote: “There were some deep underlying reasons, why Russia’s government cut Turkey loose, and I can’t talk about them in this SITREP.”
Wait a minute>>> Why not? I want to know what you know! If you know, or have some opinions of “why Russia’s government cut Turkey loose,” I want to know. Your chosen topic is “Ukraine Turkey and ISIS Overview SITREP 2015 – 2016,” is it not? I cannot give Scott a direct order to tell me/us, but those “underlying reasons” (assuming they are accurate), might give us a clue as to the -State of the Russian State.
Maybe Scott can enlighten us as to – Why he “can’t talk about them.”
4. In other words, will they, or will they not, defend their Russian People? If Scott is accurate in his gloomy analysis (and Scott is not always wrong), then the question before the Russian Leadership, (as it is before the French nation), was framed by…
Shakespeare:
To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them.
5. Some resistance has been made by a reborn Russia,
A. but their tanks should have remained in Tbilisi. Georgia began the conflict. Russian tanks reached Tbilisi. An opportunity was lost.
B. Upon the overthrow of Yanukovich, the Russian Army should have entered the Ukraine (to prevent violence, and defend the Legal and democratically elected government. An opportunity was lost. That was Strelkov’s point, was it not? There is a war in process, and Russia has had its opportunities. Mozgovoi and Zakharchenko, and the other military political leaders of the Russian people of Novorossiya, have promised to march all the way to, and liberate Kiev. It is to be recognized that they sincerely wish to complete this goal. An opportunity was lost.
C. When the USA invaded Iraq the 2nd time, Russia should have done the same thing in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. An opportunity was lost.
D. If Scott’s information is correct about Byelorussia, then… Byelorussia. Before- An opportunity is lost.
E. Anywhere else necessary to put together the band (Blues Brothers’ mission from God). Nukes to Poland? – Russians to —– the drum section. Before: An opportunity is lost.
**I coached my son’s Soccer team. I had many good ideas; we still lost half our games. But we tried to win them all.
In the rest of the planet:
1. All the Le Pens, Their National Front, Dieudonné, Alain Soral’s “Equality and Reconciliation” movement in beautiful France.
2. Restore the Republic in America. [Any alternate approaches within America? Don’t make us wait.] Vote for war criminal H Clinton? lightening rod Trump, or imperialist ‘socialist’ Hollande-er Sanders, put your name down for the counter-insurgent electoral circus here…………….
Scott concludes: “They can’t reveal this information, being in NATO, but we can.” So some information may be revealed by Scott, but not other information??? ” I can’t talk about them in this SITREP.”
Hmmm!
For the Democratic Republics!
Dear Peter J.Antonsen
1. “Scott’s “Sky is Falling” SITREP: Can you be more specific?
I believe I have many good news in there. For example, Russia doesn’t have plans to go into war with Turkey.
2. Let me ask you, have you actually read anything that George Orwell wrote, or you just repeat the trivialities? In instance, have you read his short, but powerful essay titled Looking back on the Spanish War?
“The only propaganda line open to the Nazis and Fascists was to represent themselves as Christian patriots saving Spain from a Russian dictatorship. This involved pretending that life in Government Spain was just one long massacre (vide the Catholic Herald or the Daily Mail — but these were child’s play compared with the Continental Fascist press), and it involved immensely exaggerating the scale of Russian intervention. Out of the huge pyramid of lies which the Catholic and reactionary press all over the world built up, let me take just one point — the presence in Spain of a Russian army. Devout Franco partisans all believed in this; estimates of its strength went as high as half a million. Now, there was no Russian army in Spain. There may have been a handful of airmen and other technicians, a few hundred at the most, but an army there was not. Some thousands of foreigners who fought in Spain, not to mention millions of Spaniards, were witnesses of this. Well, their testimony made no impression at all upon the Franco propagandists, not one of whom had set foot in Government Spain. Simultaneously these people refused utterly to admit the fact of German or Italian intervention at the same time as the Germany and Italian press were openly boasting about the exploits of their’ legionaries’. I have chosen to mention only one point, but in fact the whole of Fascist propaganda about the war was on this level.”
http://orwell.ru/library/essays/Spanish_War/english/esw_1
Does it sound familiar? It sounds just like the Western propaganda concerning Ukraine and Russia.
I am not offended by your comparison of my modest SITREP with Orwell’s writing, I have been very happy since Uncle Bob compared my writings to Swift’s.
3. “Maybe Scott can enlighten us as to – Why he “can’t talk about them.”
I couldn’t write about these issues in the Ukraine Turkey sitrep, because I am preparing Russia Turkey sitrep right now.
4. “4. In other words, will they, or will they not, defend their Russian People?”
In one word, no. Not in Ukraine. Russian people in Ukraine have to defend themselves, or they have to move to Russia.
5. “A. but their tanks should have remained in Tbilisi. Georgia began the conflict. Russian tanks reached Tbilisi. An opportunity was lost.”
In one word, no. Russia won’t occupy anybody’s countries. If they want, they can join, like South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
6. “B. Upon the overthrow of Yanukovich, the Russian Army should have entered the Ukraine ”
And what? Have the war with NATO and EU and US, and to have the country destroyed?
Absolutely not. If Ukrainians want their bloody fascist regime, Ukrainians can keep it.
“C. When the USA invaded Iraq the 2nd time, Russia should have done the same thing in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. An opportunity was lost.”
Absolutely not.
The same about your other points.
I trust you will find my answers to your satisfaction.
Regards
Scott,
I’ll answer you in modest detail:
1. ” In December 2015, Ukraine and especially its southern regions of Odessa and Kharkov, started experiencing a deadly flu epidemic.”
“For the past two years, Ukrainian population suffers terribly from the occupation of the country by the Washington regime and the Brussels regime by the means of NATO and supra-national financial organizations, IMF being one of them.”
These are just 2 of many bitter truths mentioned by you. The sky is, indeed, falling. The War is On!
2. Orwell wrote, in the conclusion to his “Homage to Catalonia,” “I sometimes fear that we shall never awake til we are jerked out of it by the roar of bombs.” I was indeed making some connection to your detail, and Orewll’s conclusion. I attempted to insert some humor here, but I’m no Dieudonné.
Of course, I’ve never read any Orwell. Why would I want to do that?
3. You answered my question. I will read your Turkey SITREP, as soon as it is available.
4. We disagree here. Your conclusion here, is, I hope, premature. Kiev is the birthplace of Russia. Russia must defend all its people, including the 40 million in the Ukraine, or suffer the death of their Nation.
5. We disagree here. Georgia is not an independent nation. It is currently controlled by Russia hating – Zionist American serving Oligarchs. It would be better as part of the Russian Federation (much better for Russia and for world peace).
6. We disagree here. A prompt Russian rescue of the democratically elected Yanukovich government (even though Yanukovich is a corrupt Oligarch), would not have ended in war with NATO, but, possibly imperialist sanctions (such as exist now).
The paragraph: “The only propaganda…on this level” makes little sense to our discussion. I never wrote that the Russians sent an Army to Spain in 1936-1939. Unlike Spain, the Ukraine, (Kiev is the birthplace of Russia), is contiguous to the rest of Russia.
We disagree on the vital necessity for Russia’s government to defend its people. The Zionist imperialists with to destroy Russia, and China, and any other people who resist their quest for world empire. The war is on. [Russia may not be at war with Turkey, but Turkey is at war with Russia.] Look at poor Serbia. Your views resemble those (the over caution toward imperialist aggression), insisted upon by the Russian 5th Column.
I have not accused you of being a card carrying member of any column, just identifying our area of disagreement.
Peter
For the Democratic Republics!
I agree with you on 4 and 6. The only one I would disagree with is 5. I don’t believe the Georgians or the Russians want to have an actual reunion. I’d like to see a pro-Russian allied Georgia (which I agree was a mistake not to have made happen before),but not an annexation. Unless the people wanted it,it would be more of a problem than a benefit (the same goes with the Baltic States). The country isn’t Slavic,so it doesn’t have the ethnic unity with Russia that would be needed for a union to be effective in the long run.
Both Stalin and Lavrenty Beria were Georgians.
Hitler was Austrian.
Khrushchev was from the Ukraine.
Napoleon was from Corsica.
Are this just outliers, or is there any pattern here?
Maybe Georgia is kind of comparable to Texas . . .
Katherine
An interesting question. The history of “nationalist” movements throughout Europe is full of leaders with different backgrounds. You just tipped the iceberg with that list. Its sort of like the religious experience. Those that “convert” to a religion, many times become the “purest of the pure” in thinking about their new faith. Look at those Europeans that convert to Islam. There is a much higher percentage of those people with “jihadi” thinking than among those of Muslim background by birth.
Dear Peter J.Antonsen
1. Don’t you think that an expression “the Democratic Republic” is an oxymoron? You can have either republic, or democracy. You can’t have them both ways.
2. “Your views resemble those (the over caution toward imperialist aggression), insisted upon by the Russian 5th Column.”
My views are in line with the Russia’s Defense Ministry.
3. “Russia must defend all its people, including the 40 million in the Ukraine, or suffer the death of their Nation.”
Ukraine is a bait. The horrors of this NATO occupied country are artificially inflicted and sustained by the West to bait Russia into entering the world armed conflict, just like in 1914. Remember “poor Serbia?” Russia will be able to help Serbia and Ukraine only by being peaceful, powerful and rich.
“40 million in the Ukraine” have been living in Ukraine for 20+ years and have done nothing to re-unite with Russia. Why would they want it now? Have you ever lived in Ukraine? I grew up there. My family escaped right before Ukraine declared an independence from Russia. Ukrainians suffer from an inferiority complex toward us Russians, and they compensate it with hate and extreme violence. Something that we Russians have never reciprocated.
There is a Russian joke: If Putin won’t run for a president the next time, we will have maidan to put him back in power. We want Russia to stand strong and peaceful, even if everyone else has collapsed. Period.
Scott,
It is a pleasure to have a frank discussion with an intelligent and sincere person.
1. The 40 million Ukrainians have been terrorized by Armed Zio-Nazi fascist thugs. They are unarmed, therefore highly intimidated, without revolutionary leadership, and much brainwashed by the Zionist owned media. In the few places where residents of the Ukraine had leadership and weapons, Donetz, Luhansk, they were able to Rise!
The Ukrainians are not free to make their own choices. Even the feisty people of Novorossiya
need Russian help – from time to time.
2. In Crimea, the Russians helped in a more Proactive fashion. Their success was total. They could have, and should help their Russian brothers in the Ukraine. The people of the Ukraine have only 2 places/choices in this world; they may either exist as a terribly repressed people, imprisoned within an imperialist NATO frontline military base, or as Part of the Russian Federation.
In the Ukraine, the Baltic Principalities, Syria, Serbia/Yugoslavia, Byelorussia, Kazakstan, and the other former Soviet Republics, -There is no Middle Ground. You are either -Free- of the Zio-American One World Order, or you are their abject subject.
3. That is also true in America. We either have a functioning Democratic Republic, or we are a subject -a very abject subject- of the Zionist Oligarchs. Did you see our Congress worship their President, Netenyahoo? Our Yanukovich, (JFK was a far superior human being), John F. Kennedy was eliminated in a terrorist coup d’etat, in the 1st of the modern organized “Arab Springs,” on November 22, 1963.
We did not at the time realize what we had lost on that day in Dallas. We in america have never been the same since, and the world has paid dearly since.
First Lesson in -Government 101- or my History classes:
A Republic is a political system where the citizens elect representatives to meet in a central place (Capital), and run their government. The Representatives are duty bound to carry out the wishes of their local electorate. They may use their judgement on the most effective way to accomplish that primary responsibility, and pass compromise legislation in cooperation with other Representatives who are elected from other districts, and who may have different needs and objectives.
A Democracy is the yeast that makes the Republic’s bread rise. Democracy is a Moral commitment to settle disputes by popular vote, both in elections, and in Parliamentary-Congressional struggles.
A Republic cannot exist without Democracy, and Democracy cannot exist without a Republic. Just as I cannot exist without Sheryl Crow, (I hope you get the point).
It is idiots, or dishonest agents (Not You), who cannot understand, or who refuse to understand that Democracy and Republic, do not in any way contradict each other, but are inextricably connected and cannot exist without their loving embrace.
For the Democratic Republics!
” they were able to Rise!”
No.
You can be sure they were made to rise.
Dear Peter J.Antonsen
1. You have a very romantic view of people living in Ukraine. I can’t share your sentiments.
2. “In Crimea, the Russians helped in a more Proactive fashion” Crimea has always been Russian. Crimeans called years of 1993 to 2014 as “Ukrainian occupation.” Ukrainians called those years “independence.” Independence from common sense, obviously. In Crimea people had classes of Russian language, literature and culture at night. They were teaching their children at night to hide this fact from the Ukrainian occupational authorities.
My grandmother spent three years, 1950-1953 in Stalin Labor camps. She told me that in labor camps all prisoners were Russians, all guards were Ukrainians, and administration was Jewish.
Do you think that the will and desire of Russian people matter? Or not? We don’t want Ukrainians back. Period. Russians who got trapped there should return home. Which over 1 million people have already done.
3. “It is idiots, or dishonest agents (Not You), who cannot understand, or who refuse to understand that Democracy and Republic, do not in any way contradict each other”
Call me anything you want just don’t call me late for dinner.
Republic is a ruling elite way to fool the plebs into submission.
I accept nothing, but the direct democracy. Russia is getting closer with its direct presidential and gubernatorial elections.
Take care, buddy
re: “Russia will be able to help Serbia and Ukraine only by being peaceful, powerful and rich.”
I think you have a strong romantic streak. The world is ruled by force. Russia used force in the Crimea, and used a more confused approach in the Donbass. What you probably shouldn’t do is try to do things that don’t work together, such as trying to cross all red lines, which the Kremlin did in the Crimea, and playing nice, which is what happened with things like recognizing Poroshenko. Part of the Kremlin wants to do one thing, while another part is off on a different maneuver.
The powerful and rich part allow you to use force. They also allow you to promote your ideas, and ideas are important. But you have to have some. In other words, some kind of ideology. Russia was relatively peaceful and rich from, say, 2008 to 2013. How did that help the Ukraine?
Also, being powerful will be difficult if there is a huge anti-Russian neighbor used as a dagger against you. Practically by definition, a powerful country doesn’t allow such a serious threat from an immediate neighbor.
The world is a messy place, and your answers to 4, 5, and 6 seem a bit incomplete.
4. Russian people in the Ukraine have the other options of lying low and staying out of politics or joining the anti-Russian movement. Both of those have happened over the last 20 years to a significant extent. Russia’s non-response doesn’t look like such a success in hindsight.
5. Russia had other options than staying in Georgia forever. One was to demand a federalization so that the Armenian region and perhaps Adjara would have had some power and another was to resolve the huge problem of a lack of access to Armenia. The USSR and Russian Empire left borders that are unreasonable.
6. There wasn’t going to be a war with NATO over entering the Ukraine, just as there is no war over Syria. What there would have been is a harsher economic war, and the orchestrating of partisans and such to really cause a huge headache for the Kremlin. But the real thing is you are showing anger at Ukrainians, and saying they want a fascist regime, but do they? The world is ruled by force, and the West has applied force in such a way that a minority has taken over. The Russian establishment could have set up its own instruments and offered Ukrainians a better future. Also, Russia didn’t even need to invade, they had the willing manpower inside the Ukraine just waiting for the word. A word that never came, because the Kremlin liked the old system and wanted the Ukraine kept as a buffer state run by oligarchs who were friends of Russian oligarchs. One can easily make the case that pro-Russian people were betrayed, and that may lead to even more anti-Russian sentiment down the road. A lot of the mysterious emotions in the Ukraine seem to come from Russians who feel that they were betrayed over the decades – especially by Moscow. So they are brothers, but very hurt ones. It is almost painful to read various Russian blogs asking when Kharkov will rebel. Who would be crazy enough to? Just look at the Donbass to see where that leads.
“Who would be crazy enough to?”
hmm, uBob’s advice:
“If the police attack you, fight back like we saw in Ukraine.” /saker-podcast-11-ideas-from-a-distant-past/comment-page-1/#comment-197972
doesn’t seem so good any more (since the boot is now on the other foot).
We are on our knees. Some may think that as apart of a trait. I don’t but i’m grasping to see how we can get up.
All manner of daily news headlines from Pipelineistan, oil & gas producers, consumers, & transit countries all.
http://www.naturalgaseurope.com/news-by-country
On the other side of Europe, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank is considering lending money to the Turkish branch of Azerbaijan state producer Socar so that it can buy a 7% stake in the TransAnatolian Pipeline (Tanap) from its Azeri owner.
Tanap will transport natural gas from Shah Deniz II gas field in the Caspian Sea to the Turkish and European markets. The project is an underground pipeline of 1850 km that will connect to the South Caucasus Pipeline at the Turkish-Georgian border and end at the Turkish-Greek border where it will feed into the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP).

Yes,that is a problem. But,perversely,it may also be a good thing. Its a bad mistake to let the Europeans hold your economy as a “hostage”. Russia can’t be a free country if she always worries over losing gas and oil sales to the West. Its vital if Russia is to survive as a viable state to end the reliance on selling those products to the West. And if it takes the West forcing them to end that, then so be it. Russia needs to start building industry inside Russia to use her products. And finish the shift to Asia to expand that market. If the EU see’s that in the future they made a mistake and wants Russian energy. If there is any available for them then.Sell it to them,if not,too bad for them. But never let your economic well being depend on your enemy. Certainly,it will be hard to break those ties. But it needs to be done. And fighting against it,does no good. Biting the bullet and doing it is the only way.Hopefully Russians can see that before its too late.
Uncle Bob, I agree 100% with you.
The Turkish ambassador in Austria Ecvet Tezcan once gave an interview in which he told the Austrian home secretary to “stop intervening in the integration process”.
He then claimed Turks were treated like a virus and blamed the Austrians for all the problems surrounding the non-integration of Turks.
These remarks met a wonderful response from BZÖ parlamentarian Ewald Stadler.
Happened a few years back (“sultan” Erdogan was the prime minister then), but is particularly fitting today:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5eP2BDfL-s (has good English subtitles).
And a Swiss member of parliament has had enough:
Oskar Freysinger’s speech in Berlin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCW2hxux3Ro
Wow,I like that guy. Not only is he willing to stand up for his people. He is willing to do so publicly. Maybe he could be cloned and put in parliaments all over the EU. And in Russia as well. Maybe he would know how to talk to the junta and the US about Ukraine. And drop the pardner and colleagues bs. In regards to another of my posts from the other day. It is people like him that Europeans should look to lead them. I see from his bio he formed a new party in Austria to try to reform the system. And that he supports Donbass against the junta. And lastly,he is married (to a woman) and has 6 (yes 6) children. Doing his part to fix the European birthrate disaster.
Arius:
“Consider the many bio labs the US has set up in Eastern Europe and now in Ukraine. Don’t you think that Ukrainians are working in those labs and just might be involved with Right Sector, etc? That a rogue CIA operative might just give someone that works in one of those labs a monetary incentive. There are many very rich fanatical Russia haters that might fund it.”
Why, that’s…Inconceivable!
@ Uncle Bob 1
Quite interesting, a remarkable fellow. How far will that effort go?
And now this:
TASS, 16 January 2016: Austria suspends the Schengen agreement
The Chancellor of Austria: “At the border one must present documents, and if the EU is not able to protect the external borders, the entire future of Schengen is questionable”.
http://tass.ru/mezhdunarodnaya-panorama/2592303
http://tass.ru/infographics/8268
I don’t know. Austria is a small country. Without a great amount of influence. But I see a man like him as an “example”. That might be able to show “others” how they should act. If that happened in some of the larger countries then things might begin to change. Europe has few choices now. So I think the European peoples should use whichever better ones might be open to them.
Whenever I see statements like that you posted from the (current) leadership in Europe. My BS radar automatically turns on. I think statements like that are just “bones” thrown to a mad public. It won’t accomplish anything by that. Its my belief that even right now almost none of the immigrates are entering those countries “legally”. So how would doing away with Schengen have a positive affect by itself. So like I said just “bones” thrown to the masses. That’s my opinion at least. I could be wrong of course. But we’ll see.
It creeps in so gently… That speech was made 4 years ago, mere months after the far more bombastic Utoya one. Far from out breaking.
The speech suggest a partnership of the European elites and Islamists serving the same end: that of the destruction of European “intellectual history, values and rule of law”.
You can even feel the love Freysinger’s embracing you towards the end: “The transcendental, unconditional ‘Love thy neighbor’, THAT is the pillar” when referring to the European idea he vows to “defend”.
Quite popular, alright.
Russia leaving around high tech weapons with locator beacons to help locate hidden weapons depots… psssst buddy want a brand spanking new strelka a2a missile cheap? How about some new model kornet ant tank missiles?
The turks would blatantly shell the Syrian Arab army within rage of Turkish artillery which is like up to 25km from the Turkish border and shoot down Syrian planes also if they approached this area. In fact they have shot down a helicopter and at least plane who’s pilots where burned alive after capture.
Syria is now directly challenging the Turks… New Russian artillery is very close to the border and so are the Syrian air force.. Within a few km from the border and the new Russian guns have far greater range. It does look like Syria is asserting its sovereignty by force after decades of allowing both Israeli’s and Turks to do what ever they wanted on the borders. Syrian equipment have not been upgraded for decades. All orders were in suspended animation since 2 decades at least.
Don’t forget, After IS took over the Syrian border crossing with Iraq, they chopped off the hands and legs of the officers in front of the Iraqi border guards.. Why the Iraqi’s ran away..
Always better to learn the language of your allies…
There are coffee shops frequented by Russian where Syrian speak the language + Syrian army deals with Russia since decades
For the first time, even before the 2011 Syrian war, Syria is now exerting its sovereignty on the borders with Turkey.
Russia refreshed 7 Syria/n Mig-29 and equip it with Vympel NPO R-77 missile. These are flying on borders with Turkey
https://twitter.com/EjmAlrai/status/687984798300778496
Russia is injecting new weapons never used before for the infantry. The Russia/n artillery is also very active using great fire power in Syria
To mention one (only): New anti-tank guided missiles used against fortifications with great destructive power.
Weird in Mheen, ISIS didn’t empty the weapons warehouses but took only few guided missiles & boxes of ammunitions. What can be carried.
Tens of Russia/n officers are on the field in most fronts in Syria, coordinating attacks. A large number of “administrating forces” operating.
The Syria/n Mig-29 are flying along with Russia/n SU24 and SU25 not only to coordinate flights but to challenge Turkey.
Russia is improving the Syria/n Air Force with more equipment on board of their Air jets. The refreshment will reach other Syrian Air Squad. For night flying, precision bombing and ECM and Air defense.
Russian Kamov Ka-52 (NATO reporting name: Hokum-B) attack/scout helicopters carrying the Vitebsk electronic warfare system will deploy to Syria to provide security for the Russian task force at Khmeimim air base in Latakia, a defense industry source told TASS on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016.
“Ka-52 helicopters equipped with the Vitebsk electronic warfare system will be deployed to Syria soon. They will not only control the situation around the Khmeimim airfield, but also conduct combat search and rescue [CSAR] operations,” the source said.
He stressed that the Ka-52 deployment to Syria would be the first time the type has been used on a combat operation. The decision to send Ka-52s to a war zone also is due to the need to test them under such conditions. In addition, the Vitebsk EW system will be tested there too.
Thus, the Ka-52 will become another Russian-made type of armament, which baptism of fire will take place as part of the operation against the Russia-banned Islamic State terrorist group in Syria. According to military experts, Russia continues the testing of its latest weaponry during the counterterrorist operation in the Middle East.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said previously that the Russian Armed Forces had “extra assets” to conduct operations like that and that “we will use them as well, if need be.” Aerospace Force Commander-in-Chief Viktor Bondarev said that virtually all advanced materiel being fielded with the service “has been tested in Syria or is being there now, meeting the requirements specification we set for it.”
At present, the Russian air task force in Syria operates Mil Mi-24P (Hind) and upgraded Mi-35M attack and Mi-8AMTSh (Hip) transport/attack helicopters. One of the latter was lost after having been hit by ground fire on the CSAR operation in the north of Syria on November 24, 2015 after a Turkish Air Force fighter had shot down a Russian Aerospace Force Sukhoi Su-24M (Fencer) tactical bomber.

Something else that is important taking place…
Damascus have no fear from YPG and SDF in the north and doesn’t consider their advance as provocative. @PoliSecurity
No race here. #Russia/n and #Syria/n Air Forces supported #SDF and #YPG forces on the ground against #ISIS, claim #Damascus. @PoliSecurity

Now when we buy a house or rent an apartment, we look at the neighborhood to see if we can live among those people. You really don’t want to live around a party college area unless you enjoy staying up until 3 in the morning. Don’t really work out when you have to show up for work at 8am.. Same with culture, you don’t want to live in a area predominantly religious.. They will always behave a certain way and it is bound to get to you no matter how tolerant you are. So saying allowing people who don’t fit in an area to move out is not the solution is being disingenuous. This is the PC version going on in the US. Get everyone else to change to allow the few who are voyeuristic anal sexers. Not liking such behavior is not PC. If you don’t like it YOU move. Human society is conformity since history began. They want to change that to changing the society to conform to the few deviants. Pretty soon, you will find out if you are not into sweet pigs, you are a bad example and not PC and to be put down. It is the same IS philosophy where anyone who are not with them is an enemy. And this with them has stipulations.. THEY are your GOD. It is pretty clear cut. There is no grey areas and no doubt. Absolute conformity of the few or you are terminated.
Connection to this mess around the world
Some whistleblowers have information
that’s just a little too hot to handle.
This US Army intelligence officer uncovered a global terror banking network – and ended up in jail on trumped up civil charges for his efforts.
I bet you’ve never heard of him – and just about everyone in the government and military wants to keep it that way.

Watched all of your Brasscheck TV link and its a very good one. But this true story by Scott Bennett is uplifting. So why say, “and ended up in jail…..” when the truth is he came out fairly quickly, much wiser and stronger and able to fight far more effectively, and may have multiplied himself many thousandfold? Which can be part of a process changing many miliions!
Keep sharing stuff please, but maybe consider a less depressed tone?
If any Americans here get a little weary of the (justifiable!!!!) yank bashing, you could use Scott Bennett’s example to recharge for the fight. I googled him. There’s a lot more utube videos with him
Non-Americans, i’d say the same. Don’t be cynical about all of us. Watch that video and use it to move others to join the worldwide anti-Empire alliance.

Most of the world population of this earth knows that the real US citizens has nothing to do with these “secret” US government betrayals. Americans are the victims also as many another nations. Like Syrian mother as the US mother would like to raise their children in peace with lots of love. They are expecting to have their husbands to take care of the family and be home with the family and not somewhere on another part of the world killing innocent people because somebody said so.
Most of the US citizenry believed in their government under the pretension that “we are free” these days they already know this was just a joke and big lie. Thanks to these patriots like Scott Bennet the secret and very dirty doors are opening to see these huge frauds not just for the US citizens, but for the citizens of this beautiful earth.
Lets hope he will be alive for very long and he will tell more stories from behind the scene.
A report that hopefully is true.
http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160116/1033229615/jordan-russia-war-room.html
Debka sometimes is not quite right. But they get a lot correct.
King of Jordan has committed to Russia coordination (out in the open).
Since Obama only gave him 5 minutes yesterday at the WH it seems it probably is true.
This will be huge. Jordan is very strong on Intel. They house 2 million refugees and want this war over and the refugees gone back to Syria.
They also have bought into Russian war and peace plans.
Clearly, Putin has proven himself masterful.
There also is a Harper’s magazine article (online it requires pay subscription) from Charles Glass about Syria and Kurds. I saw him interviewed on cable and he says the solution is for US to get together with Russia. The problem nations then would be Saudi, Turkey and Qatar, isolated as supporters of ISIS. This is now the clear and growing consensus by most experts.
It is very tough for Obama to admit he is wrong. He will never do it himself, but he may allow it to happen. The Jordanian thing may be a test of Obama looking the other way.
He wants his crowning achievement to be Iran nuke deal and rapprochement with Iran.
He may have to settle for giving up on toppling Syria/Assad and accept reality.
Obama must be the first US president who don’t have the blood of millions just tens of thousands…
Now that does deserve a Nobel peace prize..
I am not sure how many Clinton killed but his wife is so evil the number of people she started into fear crazed stupor and paralysis must be in the many millions and enough to count. But if we use just misery numbers then Obama is also in the top 10 US presidents to cause the most misery to most people more than anything his own people. So he can say hes a war president as well. He’s probably killed more Americans since the war against native Americans ended a centaury ago.
But you see, genocide is not killing. You can kill as many of your own as you like. Just ask turkey.. Just call them undesirables.
I wish Obama got a third term since next to stalin, I doubt even mao could reach the heights of being able to cause misery to ones own.
For a change a bright note from Ukraine. I can’t hardly believe they let it on TV:
“93% of Ukrainians Don’t Trust Poroshenko”
Ukrainian 112 channel, after today’s (14th January -ed) press conference of Poroshenko, conducted a survey among viewers.
The question that viewers had to answer read as follows: “Did you believe the words of the President?”.
At of this current moment, the result is stunning, though largely predictable. Almost 93% of respondents answered in the negative.
This once again confirms not only invalidity of the rating of the current President of Ukraine, but also the complete loss of trust and credibility.
Despite loud slogans, being full of promises, aggressive rhetoric against Russia and the assurance that, with the help of the West, the situation in the country will be stabilized, ordinary Ukrainians do not believe Poroshenko.
As a reminder, in May 2014, Poroshenko became the President after winning the election in the first round of voting, gaining, according to official data, 54.7% of the votes.
http://fortruss.blogspot.com/2016/01/93-of-ukrainians-dont-trust-poroshenko.html
A new movie called Truth is out, it is a story of dan rather of CBS and their lead producer who came out with a story on how bush avoided serving any time in Vietnam. Both Dan and the producer lost their jobs and you got to read what the people say.. They are so hell bent on defending that mass murdering pathetic nooklear liar as some kind of god. There were all these guys talking about truth in repotting and integrity and such utter nonsense that I almost threw up. I mean these are not stupid people, they are very smart and articulate and obviously well knowledgeable and college grads. The words and grammar and sentence formatting lets you know this is not high school public education English.
So I am surprised such a large percentage of far less developed people knows when someone is lying.. You cant really blame porkey for a lot of stuff, he is just a stuffed animal. But boosh on the other had was a sociopathic monster that has the blood of millions and hanging him would demean the rope from the pain of those he sent to gitmo and those under his command tortured to death. That number is over 100 from what I hear. One of them was a taxi driver in Afghanistan who was hung up and they beat his legs to hear him pray. After a week his flesh had turned to jelly and he died of a blood clot. He would have never walked again but to just torture someone for the fun of it. That’s what boosh brought to the world and when I see anything boosh I see that afghan hanging and getting beaten to a pulp. So many such atrocities and it is just amazing that americans can still defend boosh.. defend their media and so totally full of shit.
Porky is like a boy scout compared to that.

Wow, this SitRep is quite the shocker! Thanks for all the work & deep info, Scott.
The Syrian air and army base are besieged with like 100,000 people for a couple of years now. It is the same base the Canadian attacked and killed 4 and wounded 15 Syrian army soldiers and IS took advantage of it and captured part of an industrial area. Seems the situation is desperate enough to air drop supplies.

Scott, your Sitreps are the best.
Thank you.
One point I do not entirely agree with you is the first one, about Russia reacting instantly and cutting ties with Turkey like they were prepared. I watch Russian TV every day and this is not the impression I got. There was a lot of shock, indecision etc.
Also, it is not true that everything Turkish was shut. No cultural stuff was affected – no cultural centres and the like.

Dear youareyou,
I write Ukraine SITREPs. We are still looking for a research assistant with a working knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian languages.
Here, you can read my previous SITREPs.
https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=thesaker.is+scott+sitrep
Take care, buddy,
Dear Scott,
Thank you for your reply. Your sitreps are amazing. I do wish you all the best with finding the right research candidate having your required Russian and Ukrainian language skills.
Unfortunately I am unable to oblige here, but do have the qualities of a ferret when it comes to truth, Ferrets make very good, lovable pets however – perhaps you could use me as Saker’s truth finding, ferret research assistant site pet instead?
Yours truly
youareyou
@youareyou
Yes, absolutely.
You just might be what we are looking for…

Well, that would leave Poroshenko out for that job. His knowledge of “Ukrainian” wouldn’t be good enough. There is a video of his speech from the other day on Fort Russ. And in the middle of his speech he couldn’t think of the Ukrainian word for “wallet”. And stopped his speech and looked over at his press secretary to ask had to say the word. That was about as embarrassing as anything I’ve seen (funny though).
“Poro: your masters are going to leave your ass in the air” By jmalvarezblog.
Translation of the article by Colonel Cassad on the meetings Gryzlov-Pororshenko and Surkov-Nuland into Spanish
http://jmalvarezblog.blogspot.com.es/2016/01/poro-tus-amos-te-van-dejar-con-el-culo.html
“(….) Some have found surprising the meeting between Nuland and Surkov. It is not. As I mentioned before, it makes more sense to discuss the fundamental issues directly with the United States, as the junta, like DPR and LPR, has not the necessary political independence. So Gryzlov’s visit to deliver a message was followed by talks on the situation directly with the real owners of Ukraine. Kerry and Lavrov discussed first what happens in a telephone conversation and after that Surkov and Nuland treated the situation in the Kaliningrad region. In autumn, the team of Surkov was removed from issues related to economic processes in the DPR and the LPR, but still is involved in the Minsk process.
The context in which these movements occur were already explained on other occasions. These days, the intensity of bombings in DPR continues to increase, the weapons still remain without being removed and the prisoner exchange has not occurred. It is not a coincidence that Nuland has again insisted on that the ceasefire is necessary to proceed to implement the political aspects of the Minsk agreements.
It’s been almost a year since the signing of the Minsk agreements [signed on February 12, 2015-Ed] and the parties are back to the beginning: the question of the ceasefire, the agreement of Minsk is unable to guarantee . But since “there is no alternative to Minsk”, our song is good, so you have to sing it again. The Ukrainian side is still trying to rename the current Minsk-2 comedy as Minsk-3, but in fact the process does not change. Like a recurring joke.
In this context, the DPR says it will begin distributing its own passports in the near future [which probably ends the speculation about the possibility that Russia offered Russian passports to the population of Donbass, a rumor that responded more to the wishes of the population than to the reality-Ed]. One member of the delegation of the junta in Minsk said that the junta pressed to force the presence of Ukrainian parties and media in the elections in DPR and LPR, but the position of the Russian Federation has not changed with or without Gryzlov.
In general, the Minsk round of talks was held in the usual way, without any significant progress, so the attention has focused on the “Gryzlov message” and the sudden interest of the United States to hold direct talks with Russia . The reasons for this precipitation are obvious: the deadlines for elections and reform of the Constitution of the Ukraine is approaching. The Kremlin has already made concessions last fall to postpone the election of DPR and RPL until spring and now waits some reciprocity, not seeking to give further unilateral gifts. The consequence is that a problem for the junta and its promoters arises and if they deliberately ignoring its obligation to amend the Constitution, the format of Minsk will become increasingly difficult to defend, even for its most ardent advocates. And so, the risk of military escalation increases, something that the residents of towns near the front of the DPR have the “pleasure” to hear almost daily.
As the time approaches that should be voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Ukraine, the intensity of the information war and political consultation rounds will increase significantly. You can not rule out the possibility of seeing direct negotiations at the highest diplomatic levels or hear stories about interesting talks between Putin and Obama.”
Meanwhile…. just yesterday, in the Ukraine,……. in response to Gryzlov-Poroshenko / Surkov-Nuland talks……

or “Deconstructing Trotsky”, an excellent and irrefutable report with excellent links to documents that prove that this traitor was not only the architect of the counter-revolution in the USSR, as was aptly envisioned by Comrade Stalin, but from his Mexican refuge, amongst other agents / informers of the FBI, began to denounce as much Communists as he could for blacklisting and future discrediting / extermination.
“Leave aside the fact that, in 1919, Leon Trotsky granted employment and command on the newly organized Red Army to nearly fifty thousand tsarist officers or the following year ordered the extermination of the revolutionary sailors of Kronstadt raised against the government.
Forget that in 1993 the newspaper “The Independent” published a research of the historian William Chase, under which Diego Rivera and Trotsky had reached the point of being FBI informants, who provided information on the most prominent Mexican Communists. (Note)
Let´s ignore the files of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which shows that Trotsky was a great informant, in the broadest sense of the word. (For the curious, there is the state archive with the RG-84 number). (Note)
Let´s understand Trotsky, lending itself to work with the agency because it was a condition sine qua non for the “revolutionary” obtained a visa to enter the United States.
Poor Leon was forced to surrender to US officials an extensive list of people that the US government considered enemies, both Mexicans and Americans.
Overlook the campaign, just after the accusation, which was organized from Washington to grant political asylum to the brave”socialist” fighter.
No bear in mind that Don Leon, once on American soil, asked his apostles and supporters (at the World Congress Against War and Fascism, as well as in the Latin American Trade Union Congress), being handed the names of the Soviet delegates they could be agents of the GPU (State Political Administration, in the former USSR) to transmit them immediately to the FBI.
Let´s leave in the trunk of memories that Trotsky delighted to accept an invitation to appear before the Dies Committee, later known as Un-American Activities Committee, although the visa would come later and could not testify.
Forget that Trotsky inform the US government by other means, from Mexican soil itself…….”
Elsi,
Trotsky was a Marxist. I am not. I have repeatedly explained that on this forum.
As for your evidence that Trotsky was an American agent, I/we need a Link to the documents. Where are they? How may we access them?
Can we trust any information emanating from an imperialist organization? But I would look at them if they exist & may be accessed.
I am an Anarchist, and work with the Anarchist Collective. I am also a member of the Nation Discussion Group (the influential Nation magazine has just endorsed imperialist Socialist -Sanders, for the American Presidency).
Stalin accused Trotsky, and Trotskyists, and followers of Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Leibknecht,
and Zinoviev and Kamenev, of being German fascist agents. So which was it? Was Trotsky a German agent, or an American agent – as you suggest? Perhaps Trotsky was an Alien agent?
The Dies Committee rescinded their invitation to Trotsky – because they believed that, rather than denounce the American Stalinists (on cue), he was preparing to denounce the Committee and publicize his support for the newly organized “Communist (Trotskyist) Fourth International.”
Listen to me.
We might leave the past to the past; Trotsky was assassinated in 1940, 75 years ago. After that, surely, he committed no further crimes.
As for the talented muralist, Diego Rivera, after Trotsky’s affair with Rivera’s wife, Rivera (quite understandably), threw Trotsky out of his home. Rivera then rejoined the Stalinist Mexican Communist Party, (and was gleefully welcomed back to the hearth). Get it? Stalin himself welcomed Rivera back (gave his blessing). Rivera was friends with one of the top German Communist Party Leaders, Willi Munzenberg, who was an old Bolshevik, and personal friend of Stalin.
It is my crimes in 2016, that you should be worried about.
With Love,
For the Anarchist Collective, and in memory of Buenaventura Durruti,
Peter
Peter,
Listen to me, you.
The links to the documents are in the link provided to the article whose translation, in part, with references to those documents/sources, is also provided. Those documents are below the article in “Notes” section, included the document RG-84 from the FBI and the other references.
That you claim for links and documents already provided leaves me to think that you haven not bothered reading or even picking the link provided. Choisir and lire s´il vous plaÎt
On the other hand, why on Earth must always be the others who are obliged to provide links to justify their statements and you NEVER provide anything to justify yours?
It must be because you have any unknown bourgeois priviledge that eximes you to do it?
Peter, listen, Koba was much more smart than Trotsky, Kamenev and Zinoviev together and so was right considering them as German agents, since Nazi Germany was a puppet state of the AngloZionist Empire as is today Merkel Germany.
Get it?
So being a German agent was in no way at variance with being an American agent/informant/delator…..In the end, all those people were working for the enemy……for money.
It is an error to forgot the past, those always wishing to forget the past are the same interested in rewriting History, as are the actual Spanish government, who is very interested in not digging too much looking for Franco´s victims still buried in the ditches. They alledge the same thing you say, that “the past must be forgotten”. This coincidence of speech seems suspected, doesn´t it?.
Anyway, you are saying now that you are a Marxist besides an Anarchist. This is new, first news…..glad to hear.
Do you realize? Each time we have more things in common, you just need to recognize that about Trotsky and everything will be perfect.
With Love,
For a Socialist World Revolution and in memory of Stalin and Kirov,

Although what we really want is to be valued on the inside, the way we are, we women like to look pretty.
But this is not only women who like, but also men, and no need to go to the “meccas of fashion”, but, in such as sober place as the Security Council of the Russian Federation you can see, in the first Security Council of the year, a deployment of glamour and color….. in the ties ….probably related to the Christmas gifts?……
Look how handsome Comrade Patrushev and Comrade Lavrov look ( these are the ones I like the most ), but I guess those ties in “red passion” color Comrade Shoigu and Comrade Kolokoltsev wear are also new…… and, although more sober and classic than these ones but just as beautiful …. also struck me those of Comrade Naryshkin and Comrade Fradkov……..Finally, both, Comrade Gryzlov and Comrade Putin in sober grey….I wonder if like their mood…..The others I can not see……

In a pivotal step reflecting the changeability of military and political deals in Israel’s neighborhood, Jordan has almost overnight agreed to establish a shared war room with Russia for the concerted conduct of their operations in Syria. This represents an extreme reversal of Amman’s policy. Until now, Jordan fought against Russia’s protégée Bashar Assad from a joint war room north of Amman called the US Central Command Forward-Jordan, as part of a lineup with the US, Saudi Arabia and Israel.
But this week Jordan shifted onto a new plane.
DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources say Jordanian King Abdullah’s decision to team up with Moscow starts a whole new ball game rolling on policy-making and intelligence-sharing. He doesn’t plan to shut down his shared command center with the US and Israel, but the center of gravity of Jordan’s military and intelligence efforts will be redirected to the new center with Russia, representing a major earthquake in those areas.

This feature length documentary about medical madness, cloaked in bioterrorism preparedness, will awaken the brain dead. It exposes health officials, directed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), for conducting a “War of Terror” that is killing millions of unwitting Americans.
It was produced by award-winning humanitarian, Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz, a world-renowned authority in public health education, covert intelligence agency operations, and emerging diseases investigations. He is the author of three American bestsellers, including Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola—Nature, Accident or Intentional? and Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse.
This monumental film exposes the agents and agencies behind: Hollywood films and the media creating a profitable culture of bioterror; the “War on Terrorism” used to control populations; the most lucrative war in history—the “War on Cancer;” the onslaught of dozens of new immunological diseases and deadly flus; the “War on AIDS” triggered by contaminated vaccines; the anthrax mailings resulting in restricted freedoms, and sales of toxic drugs, deadly vaccines, and more.

Ayşe Çelik, who introduced herself as a teacher from the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, complained that civilians are suffering and that what happens in the region is not given appropriate media coverage when she phoned in to Kanal D’s popular Beyaz Show on Jan. 8.
“What is being shown on TV is very different from what we are experiencing. Do not remain silent. Please have some kind of sensitivity as a human. See us, hear us and please extend a helping hand to us. It is a pity. Don’t let people die, don’t let children die and don’t let mothers cry,” she said. “People are fighting hunger and thirst, in particular the children. Please be sensitive and do not remain silent.”
A criminal investigation was then launched against Çelik on the grounds of “terrorism propaganda” and Kanal D claimed it was the victim of an “act of provocation” and that the caller had given a set of non-political questions that she said she would ask the guests when she first phoned the show.

Turkey urges Germany to ramp up military involvement in Syria
Sat Jan 16, 2016 4:43PM
Turkey’s deputy prime minister has called on the German government to increase its military involvement in Syria, claiming that the move can result in stemming the flow of refugees into Europe.
“If Germany and others want to stop the influx of refugees, they must stop the bombings by Syrian and Russian forces against the Syrian opposition,” Mehmet Simsek said in an interview with German newspaper Die Welt on Saturday.
http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2016/01/16/446038/Turkey-Germany-Syria-refugee-crisis-Simsek/
“If Germany and others want to stop the influx of refugees, they must stop the bombings by Syrian and Russian forces against the Syrian opposition,” Mehmet Simsek said in an interview with German newspaper Die Welt on Saturday”.
Translation : If Germany and others want to stop the influx of refugees, they must go to war with Russia and Syria.
This entire “crisis” is a “made-up” problem. If the EU wanted to stop it ,it would be as simple as can be. The problem is they won’t because the US has told them not to.What they could have done (and should have done) from the start. Instead of paying Turkey “bribe” money to stop the flow through Turkey of immigrants ( that while they took the money they didn’t stop the immigrants). Was to proclaim economic trade sanctions on Turkey. Cut off all the trade between the EU and Turkey. That would have had the “immediate” effect of the Turks stopping the immigration. They could have also told the Saudis and other Gulf states that if they didn’t start taking the immigrants into their countries instead. That Europe would ban trade with them as well (including oil). Right now there is a glut of oil in the World oil market. And between Russian oil production,Iranian production, and Venezuelan oil production. The EU could have replaced the Saudi oil. But on the other hand the Saudis couldn’t replace the EU as customers. This so-called “crisis” is man made. And could be ended if the EU wasn’t a slave to the US. They only have themselves to blame for their problems.

Dear Scott,
Re: “Where are we going to bury all of them?”
Perhaps you are referring to the execution of thousands from St Petersburg during the Stalin era? Kovalevsky Forest near St Petersburg, was the place they buried them.
The poet Nikolai Gumilyov, first husband of Anna Akhmatova, was also executed there.
http://www.opendemocracy.net/od-russia/catriona-bass/national-museum-to-victims-of-stalinist-repression-words-not-deeds?
“Memorial is currently trying to raise funds to build a museum to commemorate those who died there at the site. In 2009 Russian President Dmitry Medvedev indicated that he supported the building of a museum to the memory of those killed in Kovalevsky Forest, but as of November 2010, no move has been made by the government or local authorities to provide funds for such a museum.”
It is not the time or place to mention some of the world’s greatest 20c artists and intellectuals who died under the Stalin regime; who will sing their praises, if not Russia?
Regards,
sakerita-lia
Please could you stick to one username – earlier you posted as “youareyou”. Thx. Mod TR
Thanks, TR Good job!!!
and to @sakerita-lia No, I am not referring to the Red Terror at all.
The question “Where are we going to bury all of them?” was asked by a listener during the Satanovsky’s interview, that I have translated. The listener makes a reference to a possible war with Turkey. Satanovsky says that since 18 century it was the West that facilitated all the wars between Russia and Turkey. The same mechanism we see in works right now. He means that we don’t have to bury anyone, because we are not about to kill anyone.

“It could be that Americans are developing new biological weapon against Russians. Genetically, Russians in Russia and in Novorossia are identical.”
mmm…. genetic warfare, ignorance and boomerangs? Russian genetics? How many US politicians of Russian – east European descent would have Russian “genetics”?….
Turkey has recently reiterated its intention to build offensive missile systems, claiming that it is “difficult for a country to be deterrent with defensive missiles only”; the move has puzzled NATO, as it’s doubtful that the member state’s demand for such arms has any “strategic sense” and calls into question whether Turkey intends to go rogue.
“It is puzzling from a NATO perspective that this ally wants to develop offensive missile capabilities,” one NATO ambassador in Ankara told the website Defense News. “Turkey is part of the security umbrella. We are not sure if any Turkish effort for offensive missiles makes strategic sense … despite [Turkey’s] legitimate perceptions of increased military threat in its region.”
His words are echoed by an EU ambassador in Ankara, who also said that the Turkish move to put an offensive system in place was “confusing”.
“Such ambitions can fuel sectarian tensions in the region. A missile rivalry between a NATO member and Iran does not sound pleasant in any way,” he is quoted as saying by the website.
Turkey’s ambitions have caused concerns from other experts, who are wondering if Turkey may eventually go rogue.
“Ballistic missiles have certain disadvantages … like lack of precision. They can also be easily intercepted. Their limited payload is another problem. In comparison a modern fighter jet can carry up to four or five times more payload and is an agile aerial asset,” said one London-based Turkey specialist.
He explained that missiles are often preferred by “rogue states” as they can carry biological, chemical and nuclear warheads.
“Turkey is not a rogue state and it is curious that it has ambitions to develop offensive missile systems,” he added.
On January 7, Turkey’s top procurement official, Ismail Demir, reiterated Turkey’s ambitions to develop offensive missiles.
“It is difficult for a country to be deterrent with defensive missiles only … This is why offensive [missile] systems too should be developed,” Demir claimed at a briefing to the Turkish parliament’s defense committee.
