What is happening in Libya makes me sick to my guts and gives a strong desire to scream insults at somebody. And yet, when I saw these headlines today I really had to laugh. Here are the headlines, verbatim (typo included):
- Arab League criticises Western strikes on Libya
- Russia criticizes Western military intervention in Libya
- China Criticizes the Allied Attacks against Libya
When I read this I just had to laugh and admit that the outraged criticisms from these folks had a certain virtuosity which is uniquely devoid of any sense of shame.
I think that it would be only fair and pay them the ultimate compliment by declaring that the Arab League, Russia and China have succeeded in displaying an “Israeli-like” level of hypocrisy! Not an easy feat, that is for sure.
The Saker
These criticisms can’t be legitimate, since the Arabs, Chinese, and Russians know how we get down by now. This is more like distancing themselves from the inevitable blundering that we are now know for. I am sure this will turn into a far worse now.
But… if you want some more funny, this really blew my lid….

I love how our president can just order (completely on his whim) an air strike on a sovereign country. No congressional hearings or approval, not even a token resolution. One of these days the executive branch is going to tell the ball-less congress to just go home, and then americans will have the country they really want! Hey, think of how much simpler voting will be!
