🇺🇦 Ukraine admitted to large-scale export of wheat abroad. Despite the unsuccessful sowing campaign, Kyiv massively exports grain from the Odessa and Nikolaev regions in order to pay for lend-lease, and also accuse Russia of a new Holodomor along the way.
Trucks stuffed with Ukrainian grain have already been seen heading to the Moldovan port of Giurdulesti on the Danube. Now the Ukrainian operational command “YUG” has called all this the grain export plans envisaged by Ukraine.
The grain exports are supporting the enemy – Military, financially, logistically, and materially, and therefore should be prevented.
From a moral standpoint the grain should at least stay inside Ukraine and be used for the people.
With regard to that Moldovan port which staddles NATO Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine, NATO have been using that port to move weapons and personnel to Odessa region and Kiev region since before the beginning of the Special Operation. Why Russia has not cratered the roads to and from that port inside Ukraine and stopped the trains inside Ukraine before now I can only guess.

This is a great way for Europe to finally realize their interests are best served reconciling with Russia. It isn’t Russia that is threatening Europe. It’s US Nazi collaborators and the war they started with US support and planning going back to the Carter Admin in late 1970s. Russia is a huge supplier of energy, commodities, and industrial raw resources. It is a large export market, potentially, for Europe. European economies can’t survive without close fruitful relations with Russia.
Seems a reasonable reading of the situation. But it could just be Ukraine wanting to cut Russian pipelines as an operational strategy of war. But if it is being done by Western Ukraine to try to wag the European tail, letting them know they have power to cut off Natural Gas, it indicates Ukraine is moving towards a more desperate mind state. If (hypothetically speaking of course, because it will not happen) Zelensky surrenders:
1. The nazis will ignore him or kill him. They might just kill him anyway and then blame the assassination on Russia.
2. The RF will continue the SMO to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. This is not negotiable. Without Zelensky that will likely be easier.
3. Once Ukraine has been cleansed, the hybrid war against the US and NATO will continue to the next phase. The only way to prevent this is:
A) the capitulation of the west and a negotiated settlement (unlikely)
B) the collapse of the EU and NATO (likely), leading to A

I believe Russia has foreclosed that option. I think I read the other day that they have already committed the gas that would have flowed to Germany to other parts of Russia.
If true, the way I see it there are three options for EU at this point:
1) To try to pressure Russia to stop hostilities – it will fail, since it’s the EU that has an energy problem, not Russia. And when the russians put their mind into something – it would require a nuclear holocaust to stop them.
2) To pressure Ukraine to surrender – I don’t see this happening – US still wants to have a hot spot at russian front gate.
3) To speed-up the certification and open NS2 for business – well, that depends on how much the EU actually need russian gas, and if the idiots in charge there are capable to withstand US pressure. But I won’t hold my breath.

You are forgetting that it’s Russian gas. If he gets NATO boots on the ground, all Russia has to do is cut off gas completely (perhaps citing force majeure?) and that manoeuvre will be scuppered.

That would appear to be the plan. the junction leads to three pipelines: one that branches through Odessa, one through the middle of the country and one that passes somewhat south of Kiev. How ironic considering that one of Germany’s top gas importers has just opened an account with Gazprom under the new terms for payments. According to a new report from oilprice.com:
“We will pay the invoice amount, which will continue to be denominated in euros, into the accounts at Gazprombank in accordance with the planned procedure, so that timely payment to our supplier is ensured on our part,” VNC told Reuters in a statement.
“We also assume that the conversion into roubles will not cause any difficulties. At least the opening of the account went completely smoothly,” the company added.

A separate report by oilprice.com notes that the Saudis and UAE have finally pointed out the reality of the global energy crisis which blows a hole in the EU plan to end energy imports from Russia:

Investment in new oil/gas fields has been declining for over a decade now so this crisis has been long in the making. On top of this is the fact that the American frackers have largely drilled many of the most lucrative sweet spots in many of top oil/gas plays in the US. Once China comes back online demand for oil/gas will surge increasing the inflationary pressures on Europe and the US.

Thus tremendously boosting the Iranian economy which is at this time stagnated due massive mismanagement of 5th columnists/vested interests riding on the back of JCPOA wishing to go back to square one and establish ties with the west and the US$. I’m not sure why Russia would allow Ukr gov to halt the flow of gas at that particular junction. Even though the junction has been operated by Ukrainians, Russia could probably take over the operations. The RT article states that “if Russia continues to supply gas through Sokhranovka, Kiev will reduce the volume at the point of exit by the same amount, effectively confiscating the gas.” How would Kiev accomplish this? Do they have storage facilities that could hold the confiscated gas and methods of transporting it to storage? Somehow I doubt this, and can’t imagine the logistics required for such an operation to be set up so quickly. On the other hand, if Kiev does not reduce the volume will the pipeline burst and cause an environmental disaster at the point of exit? Or maybe it is not detrimental to Russia that Kiev halts the flow of gas at Sokhranovka. Too many questions. I’m curious how this will play out.

Actually, I think this is almost non-news. I note that the TTF (Dutch) gas price increased only a small percentage in the aftermath of the announcement.
I think the pipelines through Ukraine are running far below capacity. This allows the shippers to nominate gas through alternative pipeline routes.
I suppose this makes clear who gets the transit fees … Kiev does not want to share.

Lithuanian·Polish peacekeeping contingent consisting of 4 combined battalions
