Total waste of time, the morons are unswayed by truth.

Spent four hours with ‘normal’ folks yesterday, listening to nothing but mindlessly repeated MSM lies. Any counter to their assertions was met with ‘conspiracy theorist’, ‘Assad/Putin apologist’, etc. but no actual counter argument.

Questioning them as to how they came to their conclusions was met with nothing but the same lies repeated, verbatim, as the MSM talking heads. I actually heard ‘because they said so on CNN’ from one of the truly stupid. Moreover, several others nodded and nobody seemed to grasp the stupidity of basing belief on MSM proclamations.

Several still think that the US found WMD in Iraq. The same ones were fully behind what happened to Libya, yet not one had any clue as to the conditions in Libya before or after the US intervention.

One very clear thing, the people are credulous and willfully ignorant. Confirmation bias and unwarranted assumptions abound.

But they are fully up to date on their favorite sports team and every detail o f the Kardashian freak show.

Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure. ( that the stupid does not spread to other planets)

Many of us here have experienced something similar to what you report. We truth tellers suffer the Cassandra Complex – nobody listens to us. And we have all sometimes wished that the uncomprehending fools would just disappear. But then we need to think, forgive them for they know not what they are missing. Poor innocent fools, abetting the destruction of our planet and each other. And then we think, are they really innocent, isn’t it every human beings sacred duty to seek the truth and live it?

      • NoBo on April 17, 2018  ·  at 3:13 pm EST/EDT

Thanks. Had not heard of ‘Cassandra Complex’ before.

        Funny that I have lamented to several friends that;
“I am cursed with the ability to (often very accurately) predict the future, and the inability to convince others to heed my warning”.

Worse, when my predictions come to pass, those I tried to warn learn nothing. I sometimes wonder if they even qualify as conscious beings, as there is no awareness apparent.

I don’t forgive them. The truth is available, they just have no interest in looking at it, even when it is spoon fed to them.

“Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure”

      Cue Hudson’s profanity :D

I agree with your sentiments — most people here in the UK are similarly brainf**ked; and they’re so smug about it aswell.

I just came back from a 3-day visit to the US (NYC). It is not going to pull its ass, it’s too late. What I saw was appalling. Sick-looking people, overweight, deformed, not too bright, neurotic. Broken roads, dilapidated houses, dirty and quite odorous streets. It is true that one cannot say that one city represents the whole of the country, but it I just could not help but think that they do represent the major urban centres (I may be wrong on this) and they are a clear majority.

    • Passer by on April 16, 2018  ·  at 6:22 pm EST/EDT

Maybe you were in bad parts only? Did you check the whole city?

      • Alexandra on April 17, 2018  ·  at 9:14 am EST/EDT

Lower Manhattan (Financial District), Tribeca, SoHo, Gramercy Park, Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen, Greenwich Village, Upper East Side, Central Park, which are all quite affluent parts of the city. We also drove through Jersey City. Quite a few shocking sites in NJ in terms of houses, streets. The contrast between rich and poor is extremely stark.

The midwest (former industrial belts) are even worse. And the people are stuck there, with no jobs beyond fastfood/Walmart/service, opium addiction, at the mercy of a militarized police force, drinking lead-laden water for which they pay outrageous fees or are threatened with losing their home if those fees go unpaid. I was born there, attempted to find work in the (relatively) more thriving areas of the country. If you were born/raised there and went to school there, the rest of the country tars you as one of the ‘basket of deplorables’, unredeemable, a thing to be ridiculed. There are enclaves of the better-off working for the tech/mic industry (the only job I could find – it was too connected with Amazon/Bezos and I couldn’t stomach what they were doing; think CIA). These are the ones who will never get their heads out of their asses and are what perpetuates the misery of the world.

I am one of the lucky ones who was able to earn PhD funding at a foreign university and get my family out of there, but what happens when my PhD and maybe a post-doc is finished? Who wants a USian? Nobody, and probably rightly so.

Not gunna happen! Before the dumbed-down, debt-ridden, drug-addled, GM/chem/vax-debilitated, debauched/desensitized/demoralized, [media/sports] DISTRACTED “citYzen/coaster Merkaan mushrooms” and remaining “comfortably numb”/complacent Boomers – CHOOSING to remain vegetating on the corp-owned “Lame Scheme Media’s” DISINFOTAINMENT/gov subsidy “dung” in the darkness of Plato’s cave – can even FIND their sorry ass in order to extract said head, “nuth’n gunna change”.

    • mike k on April 17, 2018  ·  at 9:08 am EST/EDT

And yet, we must never give up on anyone , ever. Final condemnation is an error, always.

What I have noticed is that is that the better educated, higher socio-economic classes tend to be more brainwashed. They buy their propaganda and therefore think they’re informed. In this case, the brainwashing is clearly a top-down process, and those at the top are the most indoctrinated. However, if you go out for a coffee, talk to a waiter, a barista, or a person who is out of work, they are usually much more enlightened than the so-called elites.

I think the information campaign by Russian and anti-imperial websites is really good. And officials like Lavrov, Zakharova, SImonyan are getting their message out…This is why the elite’s and MSM’s pushback is so shrill and extreme.

    • jon on April 16, 2018  ·  at 11:23 pm EST/EDT

That’s very perceptive. The elites are, of course, the ones who benefit the most from USSA hegemony, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that they “talk their book”.

Blue collar Americans have been getting the shaft from their own government for as long as I’ve been alive now. That tends to make those in flyover country a bit skeptical of MSM propaganda. But of course, that doesn’t matter, because they have no voice in the governance of the country.

      • Nussiminen on April 17, 2018  ·  at 5:08 pm EST/EDT

Why do you call it ”USSA hegemony” ? If you believe the Zionazis feel insulted/threatened by people forever proving their gullibility, respectability, and ’credentials’ by feeding on anti-Sovietism, you’re sorely mistaken. Would it be too much to ask of you to try and show some respect for the West’s most reputable enemies, past and present? At least for finding out the difference with regard to the Zionazis’ responses?

Coarsely, the West’s 99% are made up of the following constituent parts:

        1) Those forever high on corporate mindrot. Extremely ugly caricatures of the ruling Zionazis themselves. Don’t question anything with a sufficiently imbecilic, reactionary stench pertaining to it.

        2) Those who make angry noises about the accelerating rot of the social fabric of the West and the plain MSM lies put forth to prettify it, but who instantly fall in line as soon as the blame game is ”shifted abroad”: Russia, Iran, the DPRK, China etc. At bottom, they trust Massa when slandered foreigners are ’misbehaving’.

        3) Same as (2) except for the fact that they switch their allegiances in favour of the Zionazis based on the time parameter. They rightfully reject today’s stinking swamp of Western lies, lawlessness, and corruption worldwide, but fall instantly in line as soon as the subject is switched to the West’s slanders of the 20th century; hence the fashionable memes of ”USSA”, ”Bolshevism”, and what-have-you.

        • jon on April 17, 2018  ·  at 10:36 pm EST/EDT

The same perps are in place in the USSA as in the USSR. That is why I use the term. I really don’t care who’s insulted or not in the process, whether that be Bolsheviks, Zionazis, or you.

          • Nussiminen on April 18, 2018  ·  at 12:32 am EST/EDT

Sounds interesting. The anger of Westerners belonging to category (3) as per my previous post is then based on their perception that the people who led and built the mighty USSR are busy today wreaking havoc as they rule the US. Now, that’s treason at its very foulest, LOL.

            • jon on April 18, 2018  ·  at 7:38 am EST/EDT

Let me fix that for you: The same people who killed tens of millions of ethnic Russians in the failed USSR are now wreaking havoc in the USSA.

              • Nussiminen on April 18, 2018  ·  at 2:49 pm EST/EDT

Evidently, it was asking too much of you. Thesis corroborated; thank you for your cooperation.

                • jon on April 18, 2018  ·  at 8:48 pm EST/EDT

You have constructed a paradigm that only contains 3 possibilities. I’m afraid the world is a bit more complicated than that. But thanks for trying!

    • _smr on April 17, 2018  ·  at 3:29 am EST/EDT

“What I have noticed is that is that the better educated, higher socio-economic classes tend to be more brainwashed.”

No surprises here. The higher your income, the higher your motivation to lay low and keep your mouth shut. This is how how fiat money debt slavery works.

  5. Nussiminen on April 17, 2018  ·  at 4:14 pm EST/EDT

”I want you to pull your head out of your ass, America”

Could have made sense if accompanied by a picture of Vladimir Putin; not Uncle Sam. But, really, the message is flawed regardless — the US has no head but it does have 300+ million assholes.
