The latest bomb attacks in Brussels are the clear proof that the attacks in Paris were not a fluke, but the first in what is likely to be a long string of similar terror attacks. Such attacks are really nothing new, this is exactly what Russia has to endure in the 1990s, from the same people and for the same reasons. But whereas Russia eventually succeeded in defeating both the Chechen Wahabi insurgency and the Chechen Wahabi terrorism, Europe appears to lack all the resources needed to prevail. What is even worse, EU leaders appear to be dead set in their current russophobic policies thereby cutting themselves off the much needed help Russia could offer.
There are objective reasons why Brussels was chosen: it is the capital of the European Union, of course, but it is also a “soft” target, much easier to hit than, say, the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in the Belgian city of Mons or the NATO HQ in city of Haren, near Brussels. But that is not the “really real” reason why Brussels was hit. The sad truth is that Europe has been setting itself up for exactly this kind of attack.
First, when the same people (Wahabi crazies) used the same methods (terror attacks) against the biggest neighbor of Europe (Russia), the European elites gave their full support to the terrorists, not only politically (by presenting them as freedom fighters) but even directly (MI6 and the CIA were both directly and heavily involved in the Chechen wars). At that time Russia was very much like the EU today – ruled by a completely corrupt elite totally sold out to the AngloZionist Empire, Russian security services were almost completely dismantled, the Russian general public mostly clueless about what was going on and the economy was in shambles. Russia was in easy (soft) target then just as Europe, all of it, is a easy (soft) target today.
Second, Europe has lovingly cultivated a obscene friendship with three of the foremost sponsors of terrorism on the planet – Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Israel. Being ‘in bed’ with that kind of bedfellows just had to result in some ugly blowback. And now that Erdogan has precisely predicted the terror attack in Brussels, the European are still not asking the hard questions (instead they choose to believe the claim that Erdogan warned the Europeans).
Third, for decades now the EU has had an absolutely suicidal policy on immigration or, should I maybe say, no real policy at all, unless you consider “let them all in” a policy. Every single intelligence service in Europe has known for decades that immigrants are a major risk, both in terms of petty crime such as drug dealing and in terms of terrorism. Everybody knew that, but political correctness prevented anybody of saying this openly lest he/she be accused of racism. Let me just give you one example: everybody in the Swiss police and intelligence community has known for years that the Albanian terrorists form the UCK had their political headquarters and money in Switzerland, even some newspapers mentioned this fact. Likewise, everybody in Switzerland also knew that Albanians mobsters control the hard drugs market. And yet the Swiss authorities did absolutely nothing to stop this. The same kind of denial happened in France with immigrants from the Maghreb (GIA) and in Germany with the Turks (Grey Wolves) and Kurds (PKK). Instead of taking the measures needed to protect the general public, the politicians chose to hush up the problem, vilify those who dared mention it while the security services tied to appease (and even use!) the terrorist groups.
Fourth, the European police and security forces are typically under-staffed, under-paid, under-trained, over-worked, severely constrained in their actions and generally disorganized and uncoordinated. They also have a dire need for translators and interpreters and they often lack the legal basis to investigate and monitor or infiltrate the immigrant communities. In most countries they are also underequipped and even their basic gear is old and outdated. Again, the parallel with the Russia of the 1990s is striking.
Fifth, instead of focusing on the clear present danger of the penetration of terrorists under the guise of refugees, Europe has concentrated its resources on countering the (non-existing) “Russian threat” wasting money on command centers, communication nodes, pre-positioned supply dumps and, of course, various exercises and maneuvers aimed at “deterring the Russian bear”. Even worse, the Europeans have, until now, categorically and repeatedly refused to collaborate with Russian on any security issues, including terrorism.
Sixth, the ruling elites of the EU have systematically branded those who dared to warn about the dangers of terrorism through immigration as “racists” while, at the same time, introducing all sorts of totally useless but very offensive anti-Muslim measures such as banning schoolgirls from wearing a veil (of course, kids in Jewish kippas were left unmolested) or raising a panic over the amount of hahal butchers in Paris (of course, kosher stores were left unmolested).
It is therefore not surprising that such a toxic mix of stupidity and arrogance had to eventually result in attacks like those in Paris or Brussels. But the worst part of this is that there are no indications whatsoever that the European ruling elites have learned anything or that they are reconsidering their suicidal policies. So far, we have seen Federica Mogherini sobbing and the Eiffel Tower in Paris lit in Belgian colors. But still no real policy decision, or even general plan, on how to deal with the current terrorist threat.
But what the EU does have, is a 5-points plan on how to deal with Russia, a plan unanimously adopted by all 28 member states. This plan, called ‘guiding principles‘ is so arrogant and delusional, that it deserves to be full quoted here:
The first of these guiding principles is the full implementation of the Minsk agreements as a key element for any substantial change in our relations. By the way, this is an important week, it is the week where two years ago the illegal annexation of Crimea took place and we re-stated our common strong position of non-recognition of the annexation of Crimea.
The second principle is strengthening relations with our Eastern Partners and other neighbours, in particular in Central Asia, and we had very good discussions on how to proceed in this respect.
Third, strengthening internal European Union resilience, in particular in view of energy security, hybrid threats and strategic communication, but not only.
Fourth principle we all agreed on is the need for selective engagement with Russia, both on foreign policy issues – this is clear, when it comes to Iran or the Middle East Peace Process or Syria, but also DPRK, migration or counter-terrorism, climate change – but also in other areas where there is a clear European Union’s interest.
The fifth of our guiding principles is the willingness to support more and more the Russian civil society and engage and invest in people-to-people contacts and exchanges and policies that are related to that, with a particular view to the youth of Russia and the youth of the European Union because we see the future of our countries as something we need to invest into.
Translated into plain English, this means that the EU is determined to:
- Continue to punish Moscow for the non-implementation of the Minsk-2 Agreement by Kiev
- Continue to try to surround Russia with hostile regimes in Europe and Central Asia
- Continue to accuse Russia of being a threat to Europe
- Hope that Russia will ‘selectively engage’ the EU where it is to the EU’s advantage
- Continue to support the 5th column inside Russia
In the words of Mogherini, adopting these principles “was not a difficult discussion”. Unlike issues of immigration or terrorism, on Russia the Europeans apparently agree. This is disgusting, to say the least.
In the meantime, the Russian Duma’s Deputies stood for a minute of silence in homage to the murdered victims from the latest attack, while scores of Russians, including Foreign Minister Lavrov, brought flowers to the Belgian embassy in Moscow. They did the right thing, of course, but deep in their hearts most Russians are also quite aware that when Russians were murdered by the hundreds by Wahabi terrorists no EU parliament had any minutes of silence and no the predecessors of Mrs Mogherini shed any tears. As was so obscenely shown following the Charlie Hebdo murders, in Europe some lives are more precious than others. Nothing new here.
It is well known that thugs always carefully choose their victims whom they want to be unaware of their surroundings, easily frightened into submission, inclined to try to appease any enemy and generally unable to offer a determined resistance. Daesh, like all terrorists, very much shares that kind of mentality and in Europe they have found the perfect victim. Europe is intellectually, financially, politically, socially and morally bankrupt. The European society is unable to reform itself, its ruling classes are unable to inspire any kind of real national security strategy and Europe will remain an easy target for future terrorist attacks. I personally see no future for Europe whatsoever until the people of Europe finally force the current comprador elite totally sold out to the AngloZionists out of power and replaces them with real patriots capable of defending the interests of the people of Europe.
It is ironic that the Ukrainian slogan “Україна – це Європа!” (The Ukraine is Europe) has, in reality, been reversed and instead of the Ukraine becoming like Europe, it is Europe which became like the Ukraine: weak, corrupt, unable to formulate a policy beyond obeying Uncle Sam, completely delusional about her real capabilities and a Petri-dish for all sorts of terrorists.
It is hard to believe, but most countries in Europe are slowly turning into what is usually called a “failed state”. Here is one definition of this concept: “A failed state is a political body that has disintegrated to a point where basic conditions and responsibilities of a sovereign government no longer function properly. Likewise, when a nation weakens and its standard of living declines, it introduces the possibility of governmental collapse.” Europe is not quite there yet, but the writing is on the wall and it will get much worse before it gets better again.

That is also the case in Germany. Another example for this kind of NATO terrorism is the drug smuggling Contra terrorists hired by the CIA to destroy Nicaragua:

Very interesting links, so informative. Thanks.
This is a most beautiful analysis Saker. Like a good wine, you seem to improve with time. And like a good and faithful friend, you are always there when times are difficult.
I am extremely relieved that I can count on you and your blog to provide the light that guides me in these challenging times. What happens in the world today is certainly the most significant set of events since WWII. Whoever is not connected is living a wasted life.
I read this article a few days ago in Reuters. The US seem to be using these attacks to try and gain total control over European intelligence services.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-belgium-blast-usa-intelligence-idUSKCN0WQ0BU
U.S. frustration simmers over Belgium’s struggle with militant threat
…Shortly after last November’s attacks on Paris by a Brussels-based Islamic State cell, a top U.S. counter-terrorism official traveling in Europe wanted to visit Brussels to learn more about the investigation.
When the official tried to arrange meetings, however, his Belgian counterparts were not welcoming, according to U.S. officials familiar with the events. The Belgians indicated it was a bad time to speak to foreign officials as they were too busy with the investigation, said the officials, who asked not to be identified…..
…”These attacks show that more coordination with the United States is clearly desirable,” Guy Rapaille, the president of the committee that provides oversight of Belgium’s security and intelligence services, told Belgium’s state broadcaster RTBF….
An excellent analysis Saker. I note also Europe has been long infected with the Franklin School doctrines, with its ultra – liberalism, relativism, nihilism and anti-religious fervour, although the latter not quite as bad as in the USA.
This more than anything is what has contributed to the storm of confusion raging across the place – a Europe which sought to abandon individual countries and their strong centres of identity and historical strength, and fuse them into some vague, non-autonomous, unidentified and disliked non-centre which turned out to be a black hole of nothingness.
And into all this slimed the USA ruling Hegemonic Junta with its’ penchant for stirring up trouble and chaos to suit its own ill-gotten aims, whilst making very sure it stayed safely behind it’s 4000 mls wall of water.
The only hope for Europe, I think, is to somehow recognise where it’s illness comes from, and ditch the sick EU, become themselves again, autonomous independent countries, and then with their own Identity firmly grasped, start to fight back with some common sense.
But they have very very little time. And show no signs that they are even beginning to grasp the issue. Neither can we see a European Putin waiting in the wings. It’s looking very very dark, I agree.
I have to add too – how amazing I am finding the generosity, tolerance and forgiveness of the Russian spirit. It’s amazing that after the way EU acted over terrorist atrocities in Russian, they can be still this way.
What makes the EU and USA rulers worse, is that they will only see it as something to be either dismissed, or to be contemptuous of. Which really gives a strong illumination of the relevant national characteristics.
” I note also Europe has been long infected with the Franklin School doctrines, with its ultra – liberalism, relativism, nihilism and anti-religious fervour …” >
It seems, you are meaning ‘Frankfurt School of thought’ – the pseudo-Marxist thoughts which have nothing to do with Marx or Marxism … but since past two decades, ‘Frankfurt School of thought’ is being presented to the readers across global media as ‘Cultural Marxism’ (by the so-called intellectuals whose objective is to denigrate Marxism).
@‘Frankfurt School of thought’ – the pseudo-Marxist thoughts which have nothing to do with Marx or Marxism.
Let’s have a good laugh right off the bat!
What Wikipedia has to say?
“Although sometimes only loosely affiliated, Frankfurt School theorists spoke with a common paradigm in mind; they shared the Marxist Hegelian premises and were preoccupied with similar questions. To fill in the perceived omissions of classical Marxism, they sought to draw answers from other schools of thought, hence using the insights of antipositivist sociology, psychoanalysis, existential philosophy, and other disciplines. The school’s main figures sought to learn from and synthesize the works of such varied thinkers as Kant, Hegel, Marx, Freud, Weber, and Lukács.
Following Marx, they were concerned with the conditions that allow for social change and the establishment of rational institutions.”
It wanted to be more Marxist than Marx! But it was criticised that it was not Marxist enough (from the Left).
WizOz,
(1) You can quote Wiki, or even the scholarly books/articles from Frankfurt School to show that they incorporate tenets of Hegel and Marx. But that does not make the Frankfurt School a “Marxist” school of thought, quite similar like, by bringing in some of the rituals followed by the Christian Popes before fall of the Roman Empire, the Catholic Popes in Europe led by Germanic kingdoms could not claim to be “Roman” Catholics.
(2) It was precisely to undermine the potential of Marxist thoughts and to denigrate the name of Marx (which truly stands at the complete negation of capitalism and imperialism), the AngloZionist aristocracy (of Europe and America) created and propped up Trotsky, and a host of academicians since 1848 … Frankfurt School is just one of them, which really succeeded in sowing lots of confusion in the minds of post-WW II Europeans and other peoples across the world.
(3) Due to the evil effects of Frankfurt School and similar thoughts, the “Euro-communism” and “Euro-Socialism” took deep roots in al countries of west Europe – such political parties are ruling even today which has their funding coming from AngloZionists and through trusted coterie, those AngloZionists actually run the governments. When anywhere in the world since 1848, any political party tries to make a revolution and bring in revolutionary governments that will NOT cater to the local oligarchy and their masters, global plutocracy, these same bunch of rats in the MSM and Academic Institutions make continuously hostile noise about “repression” and “violence” and ensure that all sorts of manipulations are made to ultimate demise of such revolution. It happened with Russian Revolution that culminated in 1917, with Chinese Revolution culminated in 1949, in Vietnam, in Cuba, and in the present days in Eritrea.
Sorry for a long response, but with all MSM and knowledge media (like wiki) funded by AngloZionist elites, I see that every truth-seeker is in need of frank exchange of views…
Franklin, Frankfurt – a late night typo.
Thanks for the clarification here Straight-Bat: This “Cultural Marxism” catchphrase has confused the heck out of me ever since I first heard it bantered about as some kind of weird catchall buzzword to label just about every kind of social interaction and human behavior under the sun. Particularly by people that I would have expected to know better than to mindlessly obfuscate an issue by using meaningless jargon that distorts and maligns Karl Marx and the socialist theories he actually professed, regardless of whether one wholly agrees with them or not.
And who are the “pure” Marxists? Trotsky? And who represent the “pure” socialist theories? The Fourth International? Or the clowns of Socialist Alternative?
WizOz,
” And who are the “pure” Marxists? Trotsky? And who represent the “pure” socialist theories? The Fourth International? Or the clowns of Socialist Alternative? ”
Apart from the appropriate identification of the fact that Trotsky and Trotskyte initiatives in his lifetime as well as what continues till date (long after his demise) are not Marxist or socialist, you raised a very pertinent question – who / what construe as a ‘pure’ Marxist / Marxism & who represent ‘pure’ socialist theories. I don’t know if any “concise” and “correct” writing is available on the web… My take on this is simply that Marx offered the most appropriate theory of ‘socialism’, and only few could truly follow tenets of Marxism (and, certainly, Trotskytes, euro-communists, euro-socialists are not part of that, who has other agenda).
RayB,
Yes, you are absolutely right – to obfuscate the real issues before the human civilisation, to jargonise the simple understanding which common sense can bring, to distort the true message of Marxism, to denigrate and malign the true revolutionaries … such ‘Schools’, ‘Academicians’, ‘Writers’, ‘Political Leaders’, ‘Religious Philosophers’ etc. are created-groomed-employed/funded(-and, if required, destroyed) by the AngloZionist clique (since, the Sephardim Jew aristocracy being pushed out from Iberian region around 1494, established themselves in Netherlands … the saga continues till date)
The Russophobia unfortunately works, and serves to humanize European leadership to the masses. With the corporatization of European finances and decisionmaking well underway under EU lead, I suspect the nations will be too fragmented to form coherent new policy and be able to negotiate against corporate capital.
Saker,
Although it’s easy to blame the perfectly set-up immigration flux as the source f terrorism, I would disagree.
We now know Operation Gladio and Gladio B were NATO clandestine groups utilized to promote anti-Communist sentiment in Europe via false flag activities. Indeed, they were likely a major tool in the tool kit of keeping Europe in the US/neoliberal orbit
Looking at these recent events, incidentally near the head of NATO – in Belgium – one must look closely what exactly is being achieved. We see right-wing, totalitarian legislation and war footing taking place. No less right after the Russian withdrawal in Syria. Moreover, the stories behind these actors are as weak and illogical as those behind the Paris bombing – a known false flag at this point.
Keep your eye on the ball: after all the fast talking and hand movement, what was the real result in Paris? A perma-patriot act situation, just like the US.
My guess is this the beginning of a pro-war anti immigrant putsch sweeping Europe and the US. For what aim? Either a massive escalation in Syria or even worse – a final push on Russia herself via a yet unknown concocted pretext.
My two cents anyways.
Indeed. Im old enough to remember the Aldo Moro assassination; I was around 10 and behind the iron curtain yet reading about it made me aware how what passes for news is simply lies. Aldo Moro wanted to include the Communists into the Italian government yet Communists allegedly kidnapped him and killed him. it made no sense. Europe had terrorist attracts in the 70s yet those were (of course) contributed to the Communists at that time. Now they are “Muslim” attacks. Nothing ever changes except the date.
I try reading the Saker but his constant “rose glasses” analysis annoys me frankly. if he expects the EU to fall, he will be waiting for a long, long, looooong time. The US wants the EU weak so the US will step in at the right moment and “save” them. The EU aren’t lifting the sanctions any time soon; instead they have said today the WHOLE WORLD must put sanctions on Russia. So much for improving relations between Russia and the EU.
And yes, there will be a faked pretext that will be blamed on Russia and most likely it will be a fake attack on a Baltic country that will be blamed on Russia.
Hoyeru
“And yes, there will be a faked pretext that will be blamed on Russia and most likely it will be a fake attack on a Baltic country that will be blamed on Russia.”
If that will be the case, that will be fine,I am waiting for that to happen for long, finally the NATO and Eu shall get the right answer from Russia : VV.Putin ” we don’t want war,but we are prepared for it”
Hoyeru “if he expects the EU to fall, he will be waiting for a long, long, looooong time” Dont you read news about situation in Greece, Spain, Portugal, etc? The US wants NATO going on to keep selling weapons and using them from time to time to “liberate” a few countries and the result of these “liberation” wars is showing up now in Europe with the flows of refugees. US do not care about Europe all is about keeping it in control like a vasal.
If it goes awry just say “training exercise”.
An effective cover story – “training exercise”.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8377746.stm
“A trainee spy for Israel’s secret service agency Mossad was arrested by Tel Aviv police while taking part in a training operation, media reports say.
The young trainee was spotted by a female passer-by as he planted a fake bomb under a vehicle in the city.
He was only able to persuade police he was a spy after being taken in by an officer for questioning on Monday.”
http://www.thejournal.ie/paris-staff-angry-at-fake-bomb-discovery-2571299-Jan2016/
“A SECURITY EXERCISE gone wrong saw tempers flare in a Paris airport, after fake explosive devices were discovered by FedEx workers in a ripped package, sources told AFP.
Employees of the American courier service at Charles de Gaulle airport were shocked to find a pressure cooker filled with nuts and bolts inside a package in transit from the US to Tunisia.
On further inspection they discovered a container of other similar devices, along with what appeared to be detonators, said Frederic Petit, who represents the company’s employees for the CGT union.”
…
“A security source at the airport said the devices were actually decoys bound for the US embassy in Tunisia that were being used for a training exercise.”
How many “training exercises” were in place on 9/11?
http://www.historycommons.org/timeline.jsp?day_of_9/11=complete_911_timeline_training_exercises&timeline=complete_911_timeline
If it goes awry just say “training exercise”.
Was there a Plan B in place on 9/11 if things did not go as planned?
If it goes awry just say “training exercise”.
Also, logically, the mirror image cover story is “training exercises causing things to go awry”.
Bravo Nils, I totally agree.
Here in Athens most people – right or left – immediately assumed Gladio B for the Brussels attack, lacking as it did any of the spectacular elements of the recent French attacks and thus evoking the past. Down here in the land of the cynical we also assume it for the French attacks and smaller events like in Denmark and New Years in Cologne. All of these attacks feed a political purpose – emergency measures in which the temporary becomes the permanent, and spreading fear.
In the same way NATO was re-tooled from 1989 onward (instead of being disbanded), so too has Gladio. Which by the way was not confined to Europe but has been active for decades in Turkey, the Stans, etc.
The Syrians arriving in Greece from June 2015 do not come from the littoral but the ISIS encroached interior, via the Turkish camps from which they have been pushed out. The earlier Syrian refugees tended to be those that had the money to escape, i.e. the professional and business class.
The writing is on the wall for a serious escalation of the war in Syria and northern Iraq, either in early summer – or after the American elections. Since the New Middle Policy that USA, Israel and NATO signed on to in 2006 foresees the partition of Turkey to make Kurdistan, R2P might be invoked again to deal with this.
The truth is that EU is a proto-fascist conglomeration of captive states already, and the various attacks are the means to bring into law severe curtailment of the populaces’ legal rights. And worse. The skies are darkening fast across all of Europe and Asia.
An excellent and useful commentary, Saker. You point out the great ‘softness” of Europe – it’s a tethered lamb, and the bloodletting could actually become very fierce.
If Europe remains so appallingly easy and docile, it’s even possible that the root enemy will become consumed with blood lust. Right now it’s only Gladio scale. I wonder how big it could get?
To extend your description of the kind of pliant victims all cruel people seek, let’s recall what happens when they find them. There’s no end to the savagery if there’s no resistance.
How did it come to this pass?
Not one redundant word, and every word true.
One of your best, if also depressing articles Saker.
Do not despair. The Bildeburg’s break up will set things right.
How heart-breaking seeing poor Mogerini in tears, but maybe she should have listened to Putin when he addressed the UNGA back in September last year. Maybe it’s not a good idea to be double-dealing with terrorist groups in the hope that you can use them for your own geo-political ends and discard them later. Maybe the EU/NATO should of listened when Putin politely warned them back at the G20 meeting that many of the backers of Daesh (hint Erdogan, etc) were sitting right in the same room as all of them. Now they are stuck paying 6.6 billion dollars in the hope Turkey will stem the refugee flows due to regime-change wars they blindly supported. Weak and pathetic.
The worst part is Russia would bend over backwards to help the hapless Europeans and Ukraine despite all their respite towards them.
Russia will just have to wait until reason miraculously takes hold in US/European leadership, but will there be a civilized world left by then?
One can see all this from another angle:
Mogherini weeping in the arms of a Middle East Minister, Merkel begging and bribing Erdogan… Two very bad omens: Europa has already surrendered. She is about to be enslaved. Elena Chudinova’s novel, “The Mosque of Notre Dame de Paris” (2006), was prophetic. But seeing the current invasion and terrorisation, and the bizarre incapacity to react with anything but tears and begging and trying to buy some respite from Erdogan et al, we may not have to wait for 2048.
Another omen: men wearing skirts in reaction to the Cologne cathedral esplanade attacks on women…
Not to mention the attempts, in Germany, the Scandinavian countries and elsewhere, to hide the sexual attacks on women and children – as if to hide the humiliation that one can no longer do anything about.
Sinister signs and portents.
As is the obsessive hatred of Russia, the only direction from which help might have come…
Will Russia yet find a way to help Europe once again, “against herself”, as Rogozine said recently?
You could be right. Maybe those are tears of “what have we done?” The US SecDef Ashton Carter has been going around Europe for months now with carrot and stick to convince those nations to pony-up and contribute to the phony war against terror in Syria and Libya. These guys have a knack for predicting terror attacks. Erdogan predicted Brussels and Carter predicted Daesh would inflict Russian casualties (the airliner over Egypt.) Just luck I guess.
“They did the right thing, of course”
Here we disagree. I don’t thing they did do the right thing. Its the “regular” Russian people that I see in countless posts that are doing the right thing. And they are saying “we don’t care about your troubles in Europe”. Europeans stand by either silent,or even applauding as Russians are killed by terrorists and fascists in Ukraine, and elsewhere. And then expect Russians to “care” and “cry” when Europeans are murdered by their own creations in Europe. No more, let them suffer for their crimes. Russians don’t care. A few government officials will cry “crocodile tears” for Belgium and France. But the huge majority of the “common Russians” say ,”deal with it”,you made your bed ,now lay in it.
Simply wonderful news; thanks Uncle Bob 1 !
“Europeans stand by either silent,or even applauding as Russians are killed by terrorists and fascists in Ukraine, and elsewhere.”
I just happen to have been born and live on a European piece of Geography. I hate when “innocents” (Russian/Ukr/Others) are killed in Ukraine & Elsewhere.
“And they are saying “we don’t care about your troubles in Europe”
What a horrendously parochial statement.
If the “Eurpoean people” don’t care about the “Russians” why blame the sheep and not the sheepdog – mind control is practically all pervasive as the recent thread on Rumsfeld exemplifies.
If my wife gets blown to bits today i’ll remember not to ask you for any sympathy.
“mind control is practically all pervasive”
To say the least, those so abysmally stupid to yield to mass mind control, fully deserve the consequences.
François,
You’ll then be relieved to hear I’ll similarly not turn to you for comfort either.
Anonymous: I wouldn’t take generalities personally. I’m German born and care equally about social justice anywhere on the planet, be it the unjust death of a Jew or gentile, Muslim or Christian or anyone whatever their nationality, faith, ethnicity or color of skin. As I expect that in their hearts most people of all nationalities feel the same way. However I don’t take offense when the obvious is pointed out and that in general, sympathy for victims of violent aggression appears only to be publicly expressed and condemned, when it’s perpetrated against those of the white Anglo Saxon race on the European continent or Western hemispheres. All while atrocities committed at the behest of our own imperial rulers in the West, be it in the Ukrainian, Russia, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Yemen, Libya, Mali, Sudan, Somalia, etc. etc. are largely condoned and to which generally the public pays little heed in any. Where that not a fact, there would be a public outcry against our leaders and a massive display of sympathy and solidarity shown by way of demonstrations in the streets calling for peace and protests against the foreign policies of our nations, instead of the deafening silence of the west that we are currently witnessing. As for the causes and reasons for our apathy, that’s a whole other story and I would think is totally relevant to someone getting bombed, thanks to our billion dollar arms sales or having their heads chopped off by our western trained and financed mercenary Daesh terrorists.
“However I don’t take offense when the obvious is pointed out and that in general, sympathy for victims of violent aggression appears only to be publicly expressed and condemned, when it’s perpetrated against those of the white Anglo Saxon race on the European continent or Western hemispheres.”
And even that little bit of remaining compassion for Western European victims is fading. Marvelous Sweden is leading the way. Stockholm has become the No 1 rape centre of Europe (besides other immigrant-related high crime rates), and when Swedish women, or even little girls get gang raped the (refugee) perpetrators get away with three weeks of community service or do not get punished at all. How’s that for ‘sympathy’?
For the victims there no longer seems any compassion at all.

Anonymous, I agree.
The bought-and-paid for European “leaders” do what Uncles Sam & Bibi tell them, the European peoples feel quite differently – especially in Southeast Europe.
Not only have there been commemorative silences in municipalities all over Greece for Russian victims (with the assumption that the terrorism were Gladio ops) but also celebrations – for example the 70th anniversary of Russia’s WW2 victory last summer. My KKE (Stalinist Communist Party of Greece) municipality of Kaisariani hosted the Athens celebration last summer, a huge event.
It is not only a question of communist parties however. The religious and patriot right looks to Russia even more so.
The huge majority of common Russians support President Putin. Your comments, Uncle Bob 1, have no merit.
Saker, I simply love the cover picture for your article, it is a masterpiece!

Its time for Russia to stop trying to fix something that was broken by EU and something they are not willing to repair. Recent speech by Orban is worth watching, sorry don’ have a link but check on youtube.
At London Heathrow Intl. Airport: All the staff in the high security area are foreigners, mostly muslims, wearing beards and even a muslim girl covering her head completely!!!!! Then a black and a EU-loving lady from Poland as their boss. The muslim staff is responsible for checking the hand-luggage in a very Stanford-Prison-Experiment like manner.

I won’t say more.
Martin, in the Indian region the people of Islamic faith refer to their race as Muslim. They were taught this very well by the British Raj – it is a long story. I think in Bosnia they do the same thing. Its a bit odd to confuse these two very different concepts but such is indocrination, which is also the point I suppose.

Saker, this reads mostly as a re-hash of your March 11 submission “Could Russia still become an ally of the West?“. It’s plain to see that unrequited love dies hard. You posed then the rhetorical — yet futile — questions:
“Right now the West is confronting Russia everywhere, from the Arctic waters to the Pacific — but this begs the question of who really needs that?!”
and, even more submissive,
“Is that not a huge waste of resources and efforts when working with Russia could be so much more beneficial?”
You should ask yourself the very sobering question: And what’s in it for Russia? (let alone the world). The West is driven by insatiable greed, parasitism, self-worship, and decadence. Put bluntly, the West — past and present — is the embodiment of outright Satanism. And no matter the strength of one’s own commitment, Satan can’t and won’t mend his ways, ever.
What’s particularly infuriating is that you simply refuse to tell the self-pitying West “Serves you right!”. Warmongering genocidalists wreaking havoc on the entire planet and with a burning hatred of Russia — the state and the Russian people alike — simply don’t care about public opinion; hence no reason to grovel except for money. Doing it for love should be left to the congenital idiots such as the Psheks, Balts, and Ukros, period.
Well written and a spot-on question.
> You should ask yourself the very sobering question: And what’s in it for Russia?
Haha, maybe “peaceful harmony” towards “our western partners”.
Or maybe some extra FIAT zeroes for some dual citizen oligarchs representing parts of the RF economy? I really have no answer, this keeps bothering me myself.

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Attempts to improve Russia’s public image in the world are not feasible due to the information war with the Western media, Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with TVC channel, which will air on Saturday night.
“They say that Russia has a bad public image. Do you know who else now has a bad image – the United States. We are currently in a state of information warfare with the trendsetters in the information space, most notably with the Anglo-Saxons, their media,” Peskov said.
According to him, “You can consider this war declared or undeclared, but in such circumstances it is hardly feasible to engage in matters of image, it is about propaganda and counter-propaganda in the good sense of the word.”
Presidential spokesman also noted the need to achieve greater integration of the Russian economy into the global financial and economic system.
“We need to advocate for it. We need to make economy competitive and involved in global competition. Only then we will confidently stand on our feet,” Peskov said.

Ok, before anybody thinks I’m really a racist, here is my “crime”:
#0.) My waiting queue took more than 1 hour, it was about 5 times as slow as the neighboring queues. I complained and they argued that they were simply “following their regulations”. I asked, how can that be?? Why does it take so long here, but not there, there or there?
This continued for some 30 minutes and I repeated my questions. Then they even sorted out my hand luggage and there it was simply stopped for another 20 minutes. After my complaints the muslims refused to process my luggage AT ALL. I wanted to film this (no signs of filming being forbidden) and they really lost their mind. All I demanded was: Tell me what I’ve done wrong and what you think gives you the right to simply boycott me. But they were yelling at me I shall delete it, were advising each other about calling in the police etc.
When I wanted to delete the file, they prevented me from doing so, because they “yelled”: “Yoouuurrr Paaasssssspppooorrrttt!!!”
#1.) This one lead to an even worse escalation (almost arrested me for “hatespeech” and “racism”), I simply asked: What makes you think that I feel safer now, after I saw that your “security staff” is mostly composed of actively religious muslims?
BTW, I’m certainly not a friend of Jews nor any other religious group. But just to describe you the circumstances in London: Before me there was an orthodox jew, very well dressed (expensive clean polished clothes). They had also blocked him for at least the 20 minutes I stood behind him.
All over the airport they placed “tolerandce” Advertisements aka Multikulti-Propaganda, depicting the Butler of London together with some migrants, or for example BritishAirways Stewardesses playing football with some douzen MiddleEastern looking children.
It is an unbelievable power financing and pushing for all of this.

Europe is doomed on so many levels.
It’s amazing they are all looking for a Russian attack in the Baltics but the attack will come through the Balkans and it will be led by Caliph Erdogan.
Why can’t anyone see this. It’s so obvious.
Listen to Gregory Copely on the John Bachelor Show. Read the leaked talking points the king of Jordan presented to congress. The intelligence agencies know what’s going on but the political class won’t listen.
Either the empire wants Europe dead or its led by the stupidest people on the planet. Either way I don’t think Europe can save itself. It will cease to exist as a cultural entity.
Blaming the political class is convenient but misses the point. The secret services of the EU countries are as firmly in the pockets of the ruling plutocracy as are the governments and the media. The somewhat fairly working brains that exist within the populist Right have understood that European Big Business won’t pander anymore to the West’s middle classes and labour aristocracies. From now on, Whitey will see “High treason” from within the formerly deeply revered EU elites on an ever increasing scale.
Bottom line: If Whitey, quite likely, wants to survive as a Westerner, then Whitey had better support the very serious effort aimed at destroying Russia. If successful, that would open up a vast influx of unearned wealth to be shared with the EU subjects.
Russian is white.
And yes, the political elites are now pandering to blackie and brownie in western countries, which is causing the rise of traditonalism in the west.

“Every single intelligence service in Europe has known for decades that immigrants are a major risk, both in terms of petty crime………………..”.
Here we go again blaming immigrants for all the crime committed in Europe. Anyone reading this line by the saker would be under the impression that all native born and bred citizens of Europe were all upstanding and law abiding people who never commit any crimes themselves, no its only the “foreigners” who commit crimes.
Native French or German or Belgian people never commit acts of rape or sell drugs or do bank robberies (the latter of which is particularly common in Germany carried out almost exclusively by native Germans), no, lets all blame the “immigrants” and “foreigners” instead. And let us just lump all foreigners together shall we, no distinction at all between proper immigrants and immigration and Merkels mad open door policy to let in over a million “refugees” fleeing war torn countries which the EUs foreign policy is responsible for. Just lump hard working Mr. Patel with his corner shop which has been servicing the community for years together with the captogen fueled escapee from ISIS who managed to make it to the EU through Turkey. I find such simplistic and xenophobic “analysis” of a complex situation simply disgusting. Is the rest of the non western world to hold every white person personally responsible for the atrocities of Iraq or Libya or for the slave trade ? Then why are muslims everywhere in the west being held to account for the actions of a relatively few psychopaths whose actions have nothing to do with genuine islam or all “immigrants” being painted with the same brush. Shame on the saker for this particular line.
I didn’t get that from what he said. Its just the truth. And it isn’t just this group of immigrants. Its been that way throughout history. Mass immigrant of poor people brings with it many criminal elements among them.In the US the first big “crime gangs” were Irish, then Jewish,Chinese,Italian,Jamaican,Mexican,Colombian. And in Europe it was the same with large-scale immigration,In the first part of the 20th Century most of Europe’s big crime gangs (other than Italian mafia gangs) were made up of Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe. Those things are just facts. They aren’t “staining” innocent immigrants. They are just stating the truth. The Albanian crime groups have spread all over. And a lot of petty crime “has” come with the immigration. It doesn’t do any good to turn a blind eye to the truth to be PC.
UB1 wrote :

Who’s being PC ? Im talking solid facts here. I see crimes, petty or otherwise, being committed by both native Europeans and foreigners ( or are you trying to tell me native Europeans commit no crimes ?) but it seems to me the far right (which the sakers statement unfortunately plays into) are adopting a narrative here that all crimes are imported into Europe by immigrants which is plainly nonsense.
Immigration in Europe is not a new phenomenon, we have had immigration and immigrants going back decades with no problems whatsoever of them integrating or contributing to society. Most immigrants that I know of are actually hard working people determined to make something of themselves in their adopted countries and to tar them all with the brush of being “petty criminals” I find downright insulting.

Why of course much (maybe even the majority) of crime in total, isn’t committed by immigrants. That isn’t the point at all. The point is that much crime, out of portion to the numbers of new peoples is committed by immigrants. And that crime is the kind most noticed by “people on the streets”. As to the previous immigrants. Most of them came in small numbers. And were brought in at times of rising employment. They were brought in to fill jobs, when there were more jobs, than people for those jobs. That’s not the case today. Today is a time of mass immigration flooding in. When many of the immigrants are fleeing to Europe, not coming for prearranged employment, with austerity in Europe,a time of rising unemployment. When there are more people looking for jobs. Than there are jobs to be found. A totally different situation than before. You need to realize we aren’t living in the “flush days” of Europe anymore. The common reaction to that ,coupled with seeing the rise in crime from immigration. Will be like at any other time in history. Immigrants and immigration will be rejected. You see it today. And it most likely will only grow larger.

This is not an argument that natives are saints and don’t commint any crimes, while immigrants are commiting ALL the crimes imaginable.
What are we? Infants?!? Of course that’s not what we’re saying!
Like in any country, we all have born&bred ethnic native criminals. But equally, this is not an adult counter-argument in favor of mass immigration and the criminality they often (waaaay too often) import along side with them.

Breitbart is an ultra-right-wing propaganda outlet that specializes in making up and spreading lies. They have been found guilty of making up and/or altering videos for the purpose of smearing entirely innocent persons or groups that they happen to dislike. (rather in the style of Bellingcat, only worse.)
You do not grain credibility by citing Breitbart.

Whatever you say “Jack” …
Whether you like it or not, there are only a few news-outlets daring to speak-up about the ‘not-so-happy’ realities of immigration. All the others, and do mean; All the others, either: don’t talk about it, or they paint a picture full of unicorns and rainbows about the issue.
Would a link to the Guardian or the BBC satisfy you instead? All because [mind you] they always talk about immigrants favorably?
And their position isn’t biased, of course! :/
And not that I have ought to explain myself to you or anybody else…. but funnily enough, I came across breitbart only relatively recently, and all because I chased down a Nigel Farage article that led me there. Apparently, he writes for them too.
And if you think Farage is, and I quote: “ultra-right-wing,” well… I have nothing else to discuss with you. Do I?

Re: “Its just the truth. ”
My antennae always start vibrating when I see this, and similar statements/ripostes such as “Oh, Come on!” when one says something that goes against the received narrative.
I don’t know whether it is just the truth or not regarding the incidence of crime that can be attributed to immigrants. The reasons that gangs and The Mob developed in the USA mgiht be different according to ethnicity. It is interesting that many immigrant ethnic groups in the USA developed strong organizations to help and provide social services for their members (when I lived in NYC in the seventies and eighties my basic “health insurance” was via the Workmen’s Circle, a Jewish org). Also, immigrants had to try to protect themselves from rank exploitation by those already there (also, let’s recall, “immigrants” who had killed off the Native Americans. ) Thus, organizations both legal and illegal developed. Interesting, too that along with Irish gangs, the Irish became very strong within law enforcement, also as nannies to the wealthy. My point being that in the late 20th C USA it was normal and an aspect of survival for immigrant groups to create their own organizations. Surely the smarter ones among them saw how “business” was done in the USA in the Gilded Age by the likes of Rockefeller.
One big difference seems to be immigration into social democracies, which have social services in place for citizens and attempt to extend these social services to newcomers (totally different from the situ in the 19th C USA)—but that only works if the numbers of newcomers are limited and slowly dosed, so that they can quickly start paying into the system so as to help create the assets needed to support later newcomers drawing supports and not paying in. Not that I know anything about it, but this does seem like common sense . . .
ANyhow, seems to me that we need some kinds of statistics on crime before we start throwing around “it’s just the truth” types of statements as to who is committing what percentage of crime, and what type. What the public perceives is petty/street crime etc.—not financial and other crimes committed by those at the top.
Katherine
Katherine wrote :

Exactly. The biggest criminals in the EU are actually white, in suits and walk the corridors of power. They are our so called “elected representatives” (what a joke). The way I see things developing now in Europe and elsewhere sometimes makes me wonder whether the powers that be are not somehow trying to incite a religious war between christians and muslims, it certainly looks that way from where Im sitting.
Right after WW2 immigrants were invited and brought to a devastated Europe to help with the rebuilding, Turks to Germany and Jamaicans to the UK. Foreigners were ok for them then I suppose. But like UB1 wrote above when things start getting tight the first scapegoats people pick on are inevitably foreigners to blame for all societys ills.
But who exactly is responsible for things getting tight ? Its not foreigners implementing harsh “Austerity” measures against their own people. Its not foreigners who bailed out the “too big to fail” banks to the tune of several billion dollars thereby transforming private debt into public debt yo be paid by future generations of taxpayers. It isnt foreigners or immigrants bankrupting the country with constant imperial military adventurism abroad paid for by the taxpayer with all accompanying blowback. No, the people responsible for all these are sitting in Downing street, in Berlin in Paris, all shedding crocodile tears at the latest “terrorist” atrocity while engineering the conditions to set people at each others throats. People by and large are extremely stupid and seemingly incapable of any critical thought. I keep saying this and I will once again repeat it here for very good
reason, there is no hope for mankind.

Save your breath, people are way too excited these days about refugees and immigrants. It is indeed a pity that some lines by the Saker parrot the worst and most uninformed (and most non-humanitarian) kind of xenophobia (along racist lines, alas). That said, here are some thoughts:
1. The recent wave of “refugees” or “immigrants” into Europe are neither the first nor the second fully. To the extent they are genuine refugees (perhaps 30-40%), shame on anyone who would refuse a helping hand. Where have common decency and kindness gone? To the extent this influx represents opportunistic immigrants, what a sorry joke the EU Govts (Merkel in particular) have become for failing to control their borders.
2. The stupidity and hidden agendas of the EU could have been predicted to lead to a backlash against stupid policies and refugees/immigrants in general. The backlash against stupid policies is logically and ethically valid; the backlash against refugees/immigrants in general is not only bad in logic but is also obscenely unethical.
3. The main line in this sorry tale is, of course, the role of the “West” (that Rusia so desperately wants to join) in bombing and destroying a whole bunch of countries in the middle east. Chengiz Khan and Attila the Hun have been bettered in wanton and wilful destruction! This root cause of the refugee problem and the immigration problem seems to have escaped the notice of many.
4. There is no solution in sight, alas. As more and more states fail or are bombed back into the stone age, more and more unwashed, miserable and wretched barbarians will appear at EU gates; and some of them are very likely to harbour extremists, religious fanatics, and some enraged and embittered souls hell-bent on revenge. Now then, when that calamity comes to be, who will be right (morally and logically) and who will be wrong (again, morally and logically)? Whatever your answer, you will find yourself in one camp or the other, and either way you will feel damned. Did anyone really believe that twenty years of military adventurism would not one day scar the human soul?
@Save your breath.
I see nothing new nor original in the above post.
Really a waste of breath.
Katherine
“There is no solution in sight. . .”
Forgive me for sounding argumentative, but there is a solution and it is in plain sight, if not immediately available. Stabilize the countries that have been wrecked and many of the desperate people seeking jobs in foreign lands will return to their homes and rebuild. Syria might be the first success story on this front, and Putin is not taking his eye off the ball, nor by any means would he want Europe to become the next Libya, out of interest in Russian national security, not for any thoughts of sympathy he may harbor. First things first, and Europe must learn from Russia’s example in many things.
Right now immigrants, refugees are being pumped into Europe by a crazed Turkish would be caliph, in order to distract from Syrian revitalization. That hasn’t yet been completed, but it is the first matter to be resolved, and a brave army is making it happen.
I can’t help comparing the refugee crisis in Europe to what happened when Ukranians in the east poured into nearby Russia. That must have strained Russian resources plenty, but unlike the chaotic scenes in European countries, the Russians coped. A very different situation as far as national affinities, yes, but they set the example.
The crises in Europe, one should say, are like a parasitic reflex as that parasite is dying. It hurts, and it hurts big because that thing is so embedded thanks to European obstinacy. They had better learn, and learn fast, who their real friends are. If they can do so, better sooner than later. I hope some serious people are holding serious talks.
Thank you, Saker, for pointing that out.

It is with good reason I keep saying there is no hope for us as a race. There is so much hatred and division in the world today I really cant see any peaceful solutions to the problems we now face mainly engendered by a relative handful of psychopaths. What I find particularly shocking is how so many in the “west” see this state of hatred and division as being perfectly “normal”, I’m all right jack and sod the rest of you. People, especially the knee jerk xenophobes and racists still haven’t got it through their thick skulls yet that what happens to one ultimately happens to all.
Have you noticed how the knuckle draggers insist on lumping all immigrants, some second and third generation, and asylum seekers and refugees all together under the same umbrella ? And as for the present wave of refugees I myself am of the opinion that they are comprised of 3 groups of people, genuine refugees fleeing the war, opportunist “refugees” seeking a better living in Europe and finally ISIS/Al-Qaeda operatives being infiltrated into Europe.

Listen: I have (had) (now less and less) muslim friends and one of them wrote a book called “How to domesticate your wife”.
He is a moderate muslim from the Uigurs. The longer and the more he explained me about what he thinks regarding which rights his wife has or doesn’t have, the less I feel the desire to be in a friendship with him.
Ahh, and fair enough: Although his wife cannot sit at the same table as men (after having cooked the tasty dishes for hours), at least – generously as he is – he lets his wife go out once per week!!! He emphacized that one very much. what a nice guy.

There is nothing so stupid and ignorant as to lump all 1.5 billion muslims the world over under one umbrella.
No, I never read that crap.
My history: I worked together with such muslims in one of the muslim owned districts of Berlin as early as in 1995 (as a Pizza delivery driver and cook) during high school.
Their boss was from Kuwait. They laid me off and forbid me to ever in my life enter “their” area again.
Had the first contact with them in 1990, after the opening of the wall (1 km from my home where I grew up).
Already then in 1990 they told me by force and by words: Berlin is _their_ city, and I have nothing to do in “their” area.
I was almost beaten to blindness in Bosnia in 2014.
I know all this 1st hand.
They also control the entire car-number plate registration biz in most german cities, and thats why I had to have regular contact to Libanese and Turks.
You probably never saw a muslim in your entire life.
Go, meet them! I wish you lots of sweet experiences.

I had a friend who started going out with a muslim woman. She was very attractive and seemed OK at the time. She had immigrated (legally) from overseas. Her past history was shocking and when she explained her situation people were sympathetic and tried to help where they could.
In her homeland she had been publicly whipped for being “too strong-willed”, as she put it. There were visible scars on her back and shoulders. Lucky for her she came from a wealthy family and so they were able to arrange to “get rid of her” without killing her (for the sake of the family honour or some such). She can’t return.
So what does she do on arrival? She converts a local man to Islam and then marries him. After the birth of several children by him she and he divorce. I understand that he assaulted her during the third year of the marriage. A while later she latches on to my friend. Soon enough he announced that he is converting to Islam. Not so long after that they marry.
Here is what I noticed. From being a kind, get-along-with-anybody, outdoors adventurer type of guy my friend changed. He became intolerant, moody, frustrated and angry. He never hit his wife, and the marriage has lasted over a decade. He changed though and quickly. We had several discussions and they inevitably turned to his religious learnings. His beliefs were nonsense and worse, very much full of sectarianism and hate; Muslims vs. infidels, punishment and submission, purges and conflicts and death (there were always people who needed to face death in his religion). After a few of these discussions I decided it was best not to continue contact. I’ll say this, what he told me was not at all good. There is no place for any of it. I hope he never acts up against other people based on any of the ideas he promoted.

@Siotu
Thank you for this.
Although I know such things from reading my (very local, hence still a bit trustworthy) newspaper.
When they want to get rid of their pregnant women [often white german women fall into their traps and are naive enough to marry them] because she refuses to abort the child, they lure her into woods and then backstab and burn them. Not all of course. But there are such cases in Germany and directly here in Berlin all the time. Of course in Germany the murderers are back on free foot after about 5 to 10 years, if not earlier (even now, before the law reform). Bad childhood, different culture – you must have understanding, you know. That’s how the German injustice apparatus deals with murderers – even independently of their ethnic background. While for not paying taxes to the Rothschild system you get harder and longer sentences.
I saved me your text to disk.
It is indeed true.
My Uigur former friend also told me: At first he believed the Chinese communists himself (when they were still communists, 1980). That religions are obsolete and that communism is the highest and most advanced form of societies, the future.
But that then he got “enlightened” by Mohammed.
I told him that I believe all “religions” are most likely man-made sects to control the masses.
He said: Impossible, Mohammed was a prophet (rather than a pro-profit).
And that Mohammed wanted to rescue humanity because simply – he was such a good guy.
Well, hours long discussions never changed his views, but only made him more and more angry when he noticed that I still don’t convert to Islam.
WTF, religions are e v i l.
But the limited human mind rather believes in Santa Claus than in 1+1==2.
Here is something better:

Hello Martin
What was the song about? Reason I asked is that I can’t read the Cyrillic script and I don’t understand the language they are singing in. Can you tell me more?
The situation I mentioned about my friend and his wife is not the only one. It occurred when I lived for several years in Australia (an excellent place, worth visiting if you get the opportunity- it is known as “The Lucky Country” and to me it seemed to live up to the promise). There were others, of which I’ll elaborate on two.
1/. There was a situation where young muslim men were working in organised groups to abduct young Australian women straight off the street. They’d cruise around all day in several cars until they located a victim or two and then they’d co-ordinate the kidnap by cell-phone. They’d take the women either to a prepared location or to somewhere they considered out of the way. Then they’d subject the women to hours of sexual torment, torture and abuse of the most base kind. The women would be released after it had been explained to them that if they complained to anyone the muslims would be able to track them and their families down for revenge. As the women’s wallets and ID were now in the possession of their abusers they had good reason to be fearful of this threat. Further, dozens of rapists worked over each woman and it was clear that to each that she would never be able to identify them all, even were she to lay a complaint. Hence some would always be available to seek revenge.
This went on for some time, until two young women were abducted, endured hours and hours of abuse yet managed to escape. Those two did lay complaint with the police. They had the courage to go through with the drama of court appearances, including identifying in person the criminals they could remember and undergoing cross-examination.
During the trial, one of the women was giving her evidence. The judge called for a ten minute recess. She left the stand and went to sit in the back of the court. During the recess the mother of one of the accused came up to her and spat on her. She called her a bitch and a slut for not being covered like a good muslim woman. She accused the victim of causing her boys (two of the rapists were brothers) to be in trouble. They were good and the victim was a bitch of Satan.
During the trial it was revealed that white Australian women and girls (some of the victims were as young as 16) were referred to as “skippies” and were considered fair game by the the young muslims that attacked them. This attitude was not restricted to the accused alone. Others in their “community” or “culture” stated similar sentiments about Australian non-muslim women. It was further revealed that the victims were taunted immediately prior to being raped by being told they were going to “get it leb style”. One could report more of the situation but suffice to say it was depraved at all levels. The parents were no better than their progeny.
In the end several guilty verdicts and convictions were bought. The court sentenced the ring leader to some 55 years, subsequently reduced to ~30 years.
There are a few points to notice. Firstly, most of those involved were not identified and remain at liberty. Secondly, most of these rapists were very young at the time (18-20yrs) and while their parents were immigrants, most of them were born in Australia. They do not assimilate. They do not belong. Thirdly, this was a racial hate crime. Make no mistake about it. They hate all the Australians.
2/. A young white woman I’d met in Australia met a young muslim who was illegally in the country (although she did not know that initially). She started going out with him. He got picked up by the police for some petty crime he’d done and the police soon discovered he ought not to have been in the country at all. Incredibly he was allowed to be free on his own recognisance awaiting his hearings. During this time he got busy and got the woman pregnant. His claim to the court was that since he was about to be a father he should be given the right to stay in Australia. When that was declined his brief appealed the decision. Meanwhile he went back to the house and gave the woman a serious beating. She had a black eye when I next saw her. Eventually the police came and took him to the detention centre where it was discovered he had hepatitis and HIV. When she was told about this the woman collapsed and had to receive medical assistance. As it turned out she was clear. She was a very very lucky person indeed. She later told me that she had been a fool. She found he’d helped himself to her money and had sold some of her jewelry. Meanwhile he gets the deportation order executed and is gone. She had a little boy. He was born healthy.
There is more I came across when I was over there. I have reason to not be a fan of certain ideologies and religions and the types of people who adhere to them.

My address – The Soviet Union
Wheels dictate carriage
Where urgently to meet to us
My numbers telephone
Are scattered on the cities
Heart cares, heart worries
Post is packed freight
My address is not a house and not a street
My address – it is the Soviet Union
You, points dashes cable
Look for me on buildings
Today not the personal main thing
And reports of the working day
Heart cares, heart worries
Post is packed freight
My address is not the house and not the street
My address – it is the Soviet Union
I am where the children are sensible
I am where the posters are: Forward!
Where there are new worker’s songs
The country labor sings
Heart cares, heart worries
Post is packed freight
My address is not a house and a street
My address – it is the Soviet Union

Anonymous, 26 March 2016 and Martin from Soviet East Berlin:
There we are: a Muslim seductress, persuader and converter of hapless white Christian men, a siren indeed, singing irresistible songs. The dangerous foreigner. A cultural honey trap. And Martin who, by implication seems to have never met a decent Muslim man who treats women as equals. But what about counter-examples? What about the murdered Muslim shopkeeper in Glasgow, Mr Asad Shah, who appears to have had a very good reputation in his local community? He even posted a respectful good-will Easter message on Facebook, addressed to Christians as well as Muslims.
The problem with counter-examples is that they represent an inconvenient truth, namely that if there is one good Muslim man (or woman) around, then there could be two, or (heaven forbid) 20, or 2 million. There could be more. Who knows? It is the thin edge of the wedge: counter-examples like Asad Shah sow doubt in the midst of our righteousness; they represent a chink in the armour of prejudice. So, the anti-Muslim protagonists become even more shrill. No, I agree with Saker: most Muslims are alright.
I feel dismayed. In the years immediately after World War II, and especially during the 1950s, ‘project Europe’ was promoted – and widely supported by a war-weary people – as a coming together of Europeans based on the Enlightenment idea of our common humanity. If this thread is in any way ‘typical’, many enthusiastic Europeans have turned into Europeans who seem to see ‘Muslims’ in terms of black and white, ‘them’ against ‘us’. European humanism seems to be crowded out by European cultural ‘Orientalism’ (Edward Said).
Yes, Europe need a clear immigration policy. Yes, we need to distinguish between opportunistic/economic migrants and refugees from war zones. And yes, we need to face down Islamism. But we also need to face down our own governments’ proclivity for war and hegemony in the Middle East. And we need to face down our own governments’ tendency to go along with the desire of big business to import cheap labour in order to undermine our trade union movement. All this is our responsibility.
And, when all is said and done, most of the world is feeling the effects of over-population, and neither democracies nor tyrannies are prepared, politically, to deal with this issue, leading to massive chronic unemployment and job seekers congregating at Europe’s frontiers as their last hope to make a living.
Many Europeans are now like frightened tribes feeling the effects of their own governments’ neoliberalism, and encouraged by them to point the finger at a contrived ‘Oriental’ enemy. We on this thread cannot defend these ‘Orientals’ against Israeli land-grabs one minute and then condemn these same ‘Orientals’ as cultural barbarians the next minute. – Gunnar
The Uigur I mentioned was already the one who treated his wife very well.
Shall I start writing down what I have experienced with about 50 other muslim men I met over the decades?
I was in Egypt 3 times during the 90ties, and shall I tell you what the Coptic Christs told me about the repressions against them?
I was twice in Tunesia and a douzen times in Bosnia, twice in Uigur China.
Really, let’s keep it at that.
Or I really tell you what they told me about women.
Let alone how they all tried to sexually assault my Ukrainian girlfriend in 2008’s Tunesia on a Basar. They all touched her although she didn’t want it.
Yes, maybe there are 20 million good muslims who treat their wives well.
But do you really think they belong to the Khalifate of Glasgow?
Gunnar
My name is Siotu. I forgot to enter my details in the reply fields. Usually I get this right. Not this time. Sorry for that.
I think the trouble was that my friend’s wife had within her head lots & lots of nonsense and within that nonsense some embedded hatred and violence. She carried the oppressive and violent ideas that she had been taught in her culture and which had been used to abuse her (and would have resulted in her murder had her father and uncle not arranged for her escape). She did not leave them behind and likely does not consider that her ways are in large measure the source of her problems. Fact is, they are. She ought to have abandoned those ways.
So, look at what happened. She came to a new country and found a guy who she convinced to convert to her religion. Included with that conversion came all the nonsense. It was (and is) a package deal. Over time he can’t have been happy, as eventually he assaulted her and the marriage was ended a while after that. Did he strike her as he did without causal reason? Pretty obvious that he did have reason to and she provided it.
Next she found friend. There is a long story about how that occurred. The gist of it is that she seemed an out-going decent person, bubbly and a lot of fun. She fit right in to the social circle he was in. Soon enough my friend is interested in her and they start going out. After a while he announced that he is going to join the muslim religion. That was a surprise. No-one had expected that of him. No matter. People are tolerant. Each to his own. Then the couple announce marriage. Happy news. All is good…. except no-one who knew him got an invite to the wedding. How odd was that? Still, people are tolerant. Each to his own.
He changed. It occurred quite fast. Initially nothing too serious, just a loss of his sparkle, his joy. Then he started saying things that surprised and were concerning to a lot of people. Again no-one expected that. He changed further, becoming an angry man. Gradually people stopped inviting him around to their homes and slowly the invitations to social functions dried up as well. I noticed it and others commented on it to me at the time. He ceased being good company and became a concern to have around, especially in mixed company. I had several discussions with him around that time and, as I related previously, these were unsatisfactory. I could see why his social group ran a mile. I wouldn’t want him around my family either. Looking back, I see he was led into a belief structure that promised him two things. They were a desirable wife and what appeared to be the answers to everything. He got the full package deal. The religious ideas bought anger and frustration and lots of negative emotion to his life. The trouble was that the wife came with the poisonous ideas as an integrated part of the package.
I do not think it was her intention to bring misery to those she gets close to. Fact is, she does bring them misery. She brings trouble, as it is a part of her. She has the oppressive faulty ideas in her head. She lives by them. She introduces people who get close to her to these ideas and, for them, life becomes most unhappy. On the outside, all appears fine and normal. It isn’t. She is not a happy centred person in herself and clearly does not realise why. Her ways are in large measure the source of her problems. She does not register it.
There are two points to note. The first is that there are children involved in this situation. For them I think the future is grave indeed. I have first hand reasons for considering this to be so. We can get into that should you want to discuss. The second point is that while there may be people afflicted with the nonsense beliefs who appear all AOK superficially, they are not OK whatsoever. They can’t ever be trusted, as what they are really about is well hidden (until it is too late to correct it) and harmful. This wouldn’t be of concern were it merely self-destructive. It isn’t though. It is very destructive of other people as well. The issues and troubles these sort carry with them, they spread. Contagious is an apt descriptive term. Hazardous another.
I am of the South Pacific. We have our culture. We keep it. We do not tolerate people bringing other culture here and expecting us to change our ways to suit theirs. If others want to do that, then they ought to stay right where they are. Don’t come here. Keep out. Stay away.

> PS and by the way, the world is not over-populated. That is a myth.
Absolutely agreed.
It is a myth spread by those 0.1% who are {A} afraid of us and {B} who think that our resources (of the 99.9%) are “theirs”.
Ouch, I hit Enter.
It was meant to be part of the same message: Those who claim that the globe is “overpopulated” at the same time advertize genocides to reduce us to less than 0.5 Billions worldwide, because then we consume less of the 0.1%’s resources plus are easier to control.

“She did not leave them behind and likely does not consider that her ways are in large measure the source of her problems. Fact is, they are. She ought to have abandoned those ways”
It’s called brainwash, mind conditioning.
If you have a chance, try to read the stories (scattered all over the web in various personal blogs) of middle class Muslim women who were sent to study abroad. It’s not like they throw their veil in the trash and go partying as soon as they land, quite the opposite. They’re scared to death, even if they start to have doubts about their traditions/religion, they don’t feel liberated from oppressing ways, they feel, I repeat; scared to death.
It takes them a long-long time to adjust, first they might get over the fear that their family are not out to get them or find out whatever they’re up to, even if it’s something as innocent as having coffee with their fellow students. Mostly they fear god will punish them horrifically and that’s the harder part for them to overcome even after they managed to get more relaxed that their family will not come to “honor” kill them.
It’s a form of mind control, this is the way Cults operate, they brainwash their members to ensure their loyalty and make sure they don’t stray. For them, there’s no better subject than that one who police him/herself. That’s the ultimate goal of mind control: to create a non-autonomous drone.

@Siotu: Yours is an interesting story, and a sad one because you have lost your friend the way he used to be. The way you describe his wife, she uses her religion in an oppressive way. It could be said that many people do this – make their religion a negative extension of themselves, and using religion as a tool for power when it should be used as a starting point for dialogue.
We have been here before, though: culturally or religiously mixed marriages with one ‘strong’/head-strong partner with the ability to use sex and persuasion to bend the other to their will (or so it seems). We have Catholics marrying Protestants, insisting that their children be brought up Catholic, and their Church stipulating that this be so. I agree with you that none of this is right, and I am as opposed to it as you, but people make their choices. I cannot even blame ‘religion’ as such. My Aunt married an Indian; she later wanted to convert to his religion, but the Hindu priest whom she consulted refused to accept her, saying that according to Hinduism, we all should stay with the religion were born into. Whereas other world religions desperately seek converts, Hinduism doesn’t do so, apparently – not back in the 1940s, anyway.
There is an ‘issue’ with Islam on this thread. But, like Christianity, ‘Islam’ is not monolithic. Like Christianity, Islam is divided along sectarian lines, and it is (more significantly, I think) divided into ‘Islamist’, ‘orthodox’, ‘liberal’, ‘cosmopolitan’, and ‘indifferent’ adherents. If I were to marry a Muslim, I’d look closely at what sub-division I was marrying into. A poetry writing Sufi might be a very different marriage proposition to a patriarchy-dominated man or woman whose parents insist on all sorts of conditions for their son or daughter and any children they may have. Now, it is up to each and every one of us whether we wish to accept such a lop-sided ‘contract’. Your friend seems to have accepted it and, furthermore, adopted it. Maybe an example of ‘identification with the aggressor’ (Anna Freud), maybe not. But we all make our choices. Like you, I feel sad that your friend has changed into, what you describe, is a tense, defensive, irritable and maybe depressed man. There may be other reasons, though, for his state of mind. Marriage can throw up all sorts of other issues, and religion may just be a diversion, a marginal issue.
As for Martin from Soviet East Berlin: you have travelled widely and met many Muslim men and found most of them to be ‘male chauvinist pigs’. Well and good; I accept that this has been your experience.
As for uncouth sexualised behaviour in public: many Italian men do – pinching women’s bottoms on public transport; many Japanese men practice ‘chikan’ on crowded public transport; and many South American men practice ‘encoxada’. Men in the New York subway and the London tube do these things, too. It’s not just Muslim men. It is an almost universal issue, addressed by Feminists globally as a ‘men’s issue’. It’s not just confined to the lower stratum of society, either. None of this makes it right. It just seems a little narrow to focus on Muslims exclusively. Under-socialised white European and American males do it, too.
As for over-population, there are two schools of thought on this: (a) It has been claimed that it is capitalism (and its incubus, neoliberalism) and neo-colonialism are at the heart of our social, economic and political problems; and that radical political and structural change, globally, would deliver proper food distribution, employment and income security. (b) Others claim that all our problems stem from over-population and tend to ignore other, political factors. I think we in fact need both (a) and (b), and I don’t think they are mutually exclusive.
In his book “Brave New World Revisited” (1958), Aldous Huxley warned us of the consequences of doing nothing: low-level starvation (which I witnessed in the Chennai 1952); lack of arable land; lack of jobs, made worse by automation; social unrest leading to political instability; and envy, resentment, and rebellion all round. It’s not a matter of the 99% simply laying claim to the resources of the 1%. Even if that were to happen, now or some time in the future, we (and our governments) would still be faced with the ‘too many people’-problem. It is not all about restructuring political institutions, and about productivity and efficiency. Every forty years or so, our world population doubles. We can ‘kick the can further down the footpath’, but one day we shall have to face over-population as a problem in its own right. And the longer we wait, the more our democracies will become authoritarian in order to cope with civil unrest, and the more our participatory institutions will be replaced with (governmental or corporate) organisations driven by the ‘Iron Law of Oligarchy’ (Robert Michels) and empty promises. We are already seeing that trend, and over-population will cause more of the same.
There are people who think that the ‘zero population growth’ movement is a bourgeois and revisionist past-time which ignores the need for political change. I don’t believe it is or does. Much as I strongly favour radical political change, and look forward to the day it happens, I don’t believe this, by itself, will solve all the problems involved in meeting the basic needs of ordinary people. In fact, Mao Zedong understood this, and when he came to power he instituted both political change and the one-child policy. To deny the problem of over-population is to live in a state of denial. – Gunnar
@Gunnar:
Thank you for your long verbose post.
It is 5:25 am and I will only contradict you where I find it most urgent:
You wrote:
“””””In fact, Mao Zedong understood this, and when he came to power he instituted both political change and the one-child policy.”””””
No, without googling, as far as I know it was a policy pushed onto China by Henry Kissinger (probably related to IMF or Worldbank loans).
BTW: The ethnic minorities such as the Uigures were permitted to have 2 childs.
There you see already that it was a policy designed by China’s enemies! And in fact, the Uigure-muslim’s demographics keep growing out the Chinese in Xinhuan at growing speed.
As for sexual assaults vs. men: Sure sure, but the dimension (I want to avoid using the term “quality”) is by multitudes worse with muslims.
Whatever: I really advise you to start speninding some of your time on youtube. Only there you can watch original footage. And let it speak for itself.
The same applied to Maidan, Odessa, Mariupol, Novorossiya.
@Martin from Soviet East Berlin:
Under “One-child policy”, Wikipedia attributes the revival of that policy to a Chinese official’s visit to the Club of Rome around 1958. He was inspired by a couple of books on the issue, apparently. However, the policy had been attempted earlier, too, by Mao’s government, but discontinued for various reasons (Great Leap Forward; famine). Clearly, Mao had the idea of population control early in his career as leader; it was more a question as to when best to implement it. No mention of Kissinger I’m afraid, or the IMF or the World Bank – not on Wikipedia. – So, I stand by my point: the one-child policy had a home-grown Chinese origin (specifically in Mao), and it was implemented in tandem with on-going political reforms. The two are not in contradiction to each other.
You concede that peoples other than Muslims practice sexual assault on women in public places; but you maintain that Muslim men are the worst offenders. Maybe. We all remember what happened to Lara Logan – and many other women, including many Egyptian-Muslim women – in Tahrir Square. Sexual assault, intimidation, and rape were used by gangs supporting the Army and the Muslim Brotherhood as a political weapon. Dangerous, awful stuff. But – other regimes have done this too, all over the world. I remain unconvinced that Muslim men are any worse or better than men in other religious or ethnic groups. Consider what government forces did to the female (alleged) members of the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka. See what Joshua Blahyi’s gang of freelance soldiers did to village women during the civil war in Liberia. Blahyi now works as a Christian preacher.
Then there is a confounding variable: Arabs that are Christians. Theresa Flores, in her autobiography “The Slave Across the Street” (2013), describes how a well organised sex abuse ring of Chaldeans ‘recruited’ her. (Even if I don’t quite believe her account in total, I believe the gist of it). – You need statistical evidence if you want to convince me that ‘Muslims’ are worse than everybody else. They may be, but we need evidence beyond anecdotal stuff.
What Islam needs is the rise of a strong and vocal liberal wing; and our television stations need to set up debates between Islamists and liberal Muslim scholars and Feminists, and beat the Islamists in calm but open debates. And replay the debates, over and over again on public television. That is the most effective way of removing any attraction the Islamic preachers have inside Europe. Egyptian television did some of this, with Feminists challenging mullahs – the latter came across as village idiots – English subtitles by courtesy of some Israeli organisation. I think they are on YouTube.

Hello Gunnar
The point is that the religious and cultural ideas this woman had are not right and they certainly do not belong in Australia (or Europe for that matter). Perhaps she was brain-washed, as another correspondent offers. Also, we ought not to forget that my friend is an adult and responsible for, or at the very least complicit in, his own downfall. Nevertheless it is important to recognise that her culture is alien to Australia. She ought not to be importing it to there. Given the circumstances she ought to leave that place (but not come here). The same principle applies with Europe. What ought to be applied there is that if a person fails to integrate, commits crimes, behaves poorly and expects or even demands ethnic Europeans be forced to adapt to him or her, then it is that person who ought to depart for other climes (again, not to here, nor to Australia for that matter).
The saying “When in Rome…” comes to mind. Another I came across, “Russia is for the Russians…”. Both are apt.
— — — —
In respect of population.
Quoting, “As for over-population, there are two schools of thought on this:….”
Actually no. This is offering a false choice. There are several (many) other views on the topic. The recommendation is to take the reality based approach- to recognise only fact and analyse that logically.
The myth of “over- population” gained popular attention with citation of the writings of one Thomas Malthus. His essays, culminating in “Principals of Population” published 1826, discuss the deleterious living conditions of poor people due to increasing population. His works were a precursor to those of the Club of Rome (CoR), among others, predicting disaster should the world’s population increase further. The CoR claims were and are that all available resources of the planet would be consumed, leading to death, disaster and mayhem unless delayed by suppression of population. The policies to do this include those posited posited by John Holdren (President Obama’s science boss) and others. His are typical. They are reproduced below.
• Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
• The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food;
• Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
• People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” – in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
• A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives – using an armed international police force.
Treating any person in these ways is the very definition of totalitarian. The fact is that in order to reduce the population of the planet the establishment and its shills recommend totalitarianism and, of course, that ever favourite, warfare. John Holdren is but one example of a host of such creatures.
It is illustrative to delve further into Holden’s past. He co-authored with none-other than Paul Erich. The gist of their publications was the message that unless population was reduced, there would be mass starvation, death, disaster and mayhem. It is well worth reading them to see the forecasts they made during the late ‘70s, all of them completely wrong. In fact, the book of 1977 was so replete with lies and dishonest claims that a man called Julian Simon challenged Erlich to a bet. A set of commodities were chosen. Erlich felt he was on safe ground that all would dramatically increase in price as they became more and more scarce due to consumption. The opposite occurred exactly as Simon predicted it would for exactly the reasons he predicted. It was laughable that anyone took the over-population myth seriously, certainly not after that clear demonstration of its failure to correspond with reality. It was shown to be stupidity writ large.
So why was Julian Simon correct? What had he realised that Malthus, The Club of Rome, Erlich, Holdren and all the rest not understood (or evaded)? There were two major items. Firstly, Simon looked at the development of mankind during the last several hundred years and realised that despite Malthus’ claims, the living conditions around the world were improving over time, not declining. That was the overall trend. He also understood that far from resources becoming more and more scarce, they were plentiful and becoming far more available at reducing cost over time. Further, new resources were being located and recognised, while existing resources were made much more productive over time as well.
He noticed the first agricultural revolution and the second and the industrial revolution and so on. The consequences were more food at lower cost. More goods and services at lower cost. Lately we have had the information revolution and the communications revolution is still playing out as we watch. More goods and services. [Increase in productivity from these last two have to some extent, but not completely, off-set the impoverishing effect of government and associated cronyism of the last 30 years]. Exploitable energy sources became more plentiful, although remaining an arena of political power conflict. Still, presently there is plentiful hydrocarbon energy and shortly nuclear (my expectation is thorium, since the Chinese, Iranians and Indians are actively developing it, and perhaps anucleonic fusion to follow). In each case we record an increase of goods and services of higher and higher quality made available to more and more people. Meanwhile the resources discovered, available, suitable for harnessing and won increases, as does productive output. The process can continue indefinitely restricted only by authoritarian behaviour.
In my lifetime there has been the discovery that silicon can be used to fabricate the guts of telecommunications devices and computers whereas previously the raw stock was near worthless for anything. Communication has improved. In my lifetime it has been discovered that filaments of carbon, once thought of as a nuisance material to be avoided, have immense tensile strength and a high Youngs Modulus. Carbon fibre has improved many products from tennis racquets and golf clubs to brakes and aircraft. Automobiles continue to improve in certain areas. Housing is more comfortable and more easily available. Life expectancy has improved. Productivity has improved. New methods of manufacturing have occurred. On it goes. It does not stop either. Not so long as people are left alone to their own business.
If, as has been pointed out to him, Erlich was to have honestly considered what occurred over his own lifetime, then he could not have in all seriousness published the nonsense he did. The population increased significantly since the ’30s (when he was born), but no-one could seriously have claimed that since that time living standards in general were declining due to this increase or that they would decline due to this increase in the future. Compare the ’30s to the late ’70s and early ’80s (when Holdren and Erlich were publishing at their peak). Had poverty generally increased or was it decreasing? The overall historical evidence was clear, it was decreasing. Even where poverty was severe, that situation was due to reasons of politics, not increasing population. And, make no mistake, since the ‘70s and early ‘80s the trend has tended towards continuing improvement. There are many, many millions better off today than were their ancestors of the ‘30s.
The second matter that Simon realised about Erlich and his like-minded cronies was that they were greatly interested in control of other people. They operated with the hubris of considering that they knew what everyone should do and how everyone ought to live. As far as anyone disagreeing was concerned, such individuals were to be coerced or forced to do as they were told else, as Holdren so eloquently put it, the Planetary Regime could classify them as those who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) and “be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” – in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized. Or, no doubt, be treated even worse than that. After such undesirables are untermenschen. With the empty excuse of saving the world, Erlich and his over-population crew advance all their usual obsessions – control, regulation, state intervention, puritanism, compulsory immiseration of other people etc. etc. etc. As with the global warming myth, the over-population myth is an attempted justification of some people being allowed a right of control over other people, a right to determine the disposal of other people.
Julian Simon was aware of both matters. Recognising the banal stupidity of these wreckers, he knew the public bet would be resolved in his favour. After all he had history on his side and sound knowledge of how moronic and sociopathic those on the other side of the bet actually were.
The reality of the world situation is this. There are more tasks and more work available then there are people to attend to it all. Look around you this morning. Consider all the tasks and jobs that need doing in your life. There simply is not time to undertake them all. So you must choose which to do and bear the opportunity costs (of all those jobs and tasks you do not do). Perhaps you can hire other people to do some of the tasks you do not do. That’s good, but the trouble with this is that you do not have sufficient funds to get absolutely everything attended to, nor can a hired hand attend to some of the tasks on your list- those have to be done personally, by you and you alone, if they are to be done at all. The exact same situation is faced by other people. There is too much to do for the number of people available to do it. So each of us faces opportunity costs and makes subjective prioritisation decisions accordingly. The overall result of this is that there are always more wants and needs than the ability to produce satisfaction of them. Always.
As the population increases, more people become available to do more tasks. Then the happy situation occurs wherein specialisation of labour can increase, allowing each the ability to attend to tasks in which he or she is best suited and most productive. This allows increasing satisfaction of tasks. The greater the population, the greater the specialisations of labour possible. Hence productivity is able to be increased enormously. There will still be more tasks than people to attend to them, but now a greater amount of needs and wants can be addressed due to the efficiency gains of specialisation. That brings us to innovation and change.
This is most important- in any population there are those who are innovative and entrepreneurial. These are your most vital people. They are very difficult to identify until they have already seen some successful outcomes. They are the people that governments and crony establishments act to restrain, handicap or even crush. Now as the population increases, then the number of innovators increases also. Where they are able to operate unhindered, they innovate, invent and work to satisfy needs and wants. The effect, where unhindered or even relatively so, is exponential. You get fast change, better productivity, improved methods and a far higher standard of living as the result of the activities of such people. Every invention and improvement of standard of living is initiated by such.
Now here is the rub. The intelligence to innovate and invent is not a skill set or interest that most people share. It is in minority. That makes sense as it is one of the labour specialisations. Not everyone can do it and not all of those who can have the passion, let alone the interest to engage in it. Same goes for intelligence. This is a quality that is not equally distributed amongst all people. Indeed it is correct that sometimes the brightest and cleverest people can produce dullard children. Similarly it is correct that sometimes the most successful people produce children who are not at all equipped to achieve the same success as their parents. How many times do we see this in the world! So what occurs where a group is presently largely in control of an important portion of the economy? Perhaps they are in banking and finance, perhaps politics or the administration of some portion of the government. How do they see to it that their position is preserved from generation to generation, especially when it is 100% likely that there are more intelligent and more innovative youngsters starting out than they are or than their progeny are? How is it they guarantee that they can’t be outmatched or lose to better competitors? How indeed? The means is to see to it that currency systems, regulation, legislation, allocation and control of resources and so on is operated in such a way as to
1/. Guarantee market
2/. Eliminate competition or at minimum make cost of entry prohibitive to potential competitors
3/. Encourage scarcity of specific prime resource
How can this be achieved? By use of doomsday myths. The over-population myth is one. It runs along the lines of “too many people justifies the need for restrictions by giving a tiny minority power of control over all others”. Another one is the favourite, anthropogenic global warming. It runs along the lines of “the sky is falling, the sky is falling” This supposedly justifies the need for restrictions by giving a tiny minority power of control over all others. Neither the “too many people” problem, not the “sky is falling” problem actually exists in reality, but the drive to scare people into accepting authoritarian control over their lives is thought to be justified by the relentless telling of the myths over and over and over and over.
The Earth can support far more people than presently alive. Four things ignored from Malthus right up to the present doomsday mythologisers. Evolution has not ceased. Advancement of human technology and productivity is not some mere aberration which has come to a final completion. Excepting for the special cases of certain collectivist political systems, society and the economy are not zero sum. Existence, let alone Earth, is not a closed zero sum system.
Finally, denial of myth in favour of fact is good and moral. Better to live in denial of myth and acceptance of fact rather than the opposite.

@Siotu.
Thank you for your detailed explanation of where you stand. I appreciate the time you have taken to answer my post. Let’s try to deal with the first question. Based on your description of this woman, who happens to be a Muslim, I agree with you that she has had a bad effect on your friend. But is it her brand of Islam that is getting him down or is it her personality, or is it something else (or more)? He is free to leave her whenever he wants. I am concerned that he has significant depression (irritability; impatience). I would (if I were you) urge him to see a marriage counsellor without her (unless she want to go with him). If he does not have the ‘energy’, ask him if he would mind if you make that appointment for him and maybe even go with him.
You say she should not have come to Australia, and now that she’s here, maybe she should be asked to leave. I am not sure, so let’s debate this.
Let’s put it this way. I arrived in Australia as a migrant in 1964. As I settled into Australian life and got to know its recent history, I formed the opinion that the way many white Australians had treated the Aborigines was very bad. In fact, it was only 23 years earlier that the last massacre of Aborigines had taken place. Now suppose I had spoken up about the issue. Fair enough, some white Australians might have agreed with me, but some, especially outside the big cities, might well have told me that I “didn’t belong” here and ought to “go back to Norway” where I came from. The “if you don’t like here, go home!” – attitude. They would have seen my opinion of the original Australians as offensive to the “true Australian spirit”. Or, say I had stood up and criticised the ANZAC parades held every 25th April; if I had said that they were militaristic and self-serving medal rattling ex-soldiers who were not mourning their fallen comrades but where simply glorifying themselves – well, there would have been people who would have said, “We don’t need migrants like him! Send him home”.
Further down you post, you quote (or paraphrase) John Holdren, “A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives – using an armed international police force”. – Now you don’t agree with this kind of thinking (and nor do I), but can you see the contradiction? On the one hand you oppose people/cronies/ government dictating who is ‘in’ and who is ‘out’, controlling people’s lives, and on the other hand you seem to suggest that this woman should consider leaving your country, or maybe be told to leave.
There will always be people, whether national governments (John Howard), international governments, or country rednecks, telling people how to think and who is entitled to live in a land. Australian Communists in the 1960s were told to “go and live in the Soviet Union”. That sort of thing.
What do we do with ‘people who don’t fit into’ the Australian, or English, or American, way of life? True, we don’t want too many Muslim “sirens” or “honey traps” making life miserable for their menfolk. However, this is one woman. And even if you know of other Muslim women of a similar ilk, would we be justified to demand that they “go home”? – I don’t know; I don’t have a definite answer. Some people on this discussion thread would maybe hold that against me and call be a “b… liberal” and tell me to get off ‘their’ thread.
What Australia did during my 40 years there was to educate the children of migrants. This second generation of migrants learned (with some exceptions) to become ‘Australians’ in our image. And I guess that’s the way to go: education from primary school onward. So, maybe not much can be done about this woman, but if she has any children, they may get a new start.
I take your point about entrepreneurialism and the importance of avoiding ‘jobs for the boys’, the blocking of talent, and authoritarian government. All this you and I agree on. But, are you saying that there will never be an over-population problem? Are you saying that no matter what the world population grows to, there will always be solutions other than population control? Or are you saying that over-population is not a problem in itself, but is always reducible to problems other than merely demographic (size and density)? Would not – eventually – population size become an important factor, per se, among other factors (political; economic)? I sense that you are an optimist, but isn’t that being unrealistic? I’d hate to be peddling a ‘myth’.
Finally. just to give you more of an idea of my way of thinking, I will give you an amalgam of quotes from an interview of Claude Levi-Strauss. It does not pertain to over-population as such, only indirectly. ‘Population’ is not simply about numbers, available resources, and prices. There is a qualitative aspect to the problem. I urge you to try to catch the ‘atmosphere’ of Levi-Strauss’ replies – catch the feel of them. They are not ‘facts’ so much as a ‘way of thinking’. So: asked what are the essential characteristics that distinguish modern society from that of primitive society, Levi-Strauss replied,
“Two strike me immediately. First, there is no common yardstick by which we can compare our own society and others known to history, if we are thinking of them from the point of view of size and density. Secondly, our society finally seems to have broken the delicate balance between man and his natural environment. To an ethnologist like myself the enormous population explosion which began in the 18th century is of overwhelming importance. The economist sees it in terms of numbers. But for the ethnologist, the problem is one of quality. For we are still living on the capital of moral values and philosophical ideas worked out by a society much more restricted than our own, and these values are losing their meaning for us today … We now come to the second point: the break with the environment … modern man reckons that only he counts; he has no concern for other forms of life. In his so-called humanism he takes no account of plants or animals or even human societies that do not conform to his own ideas of what man is. Conclusion: man has never been so savage as he is today. In glorifying a way of life that destroys everything unlike itself, man has gradually weakened the defences which protected him from his own deeds. He has so narrowed down the frontier between what he considers right, that is to say himself, and all the rest, that there remains nothing to protect him”. – From: ‘Realites’ magazine (English language edition), No. 175, June 1965, pp. 48-51. – Gunnar

“What about the murdered Muslim shopkeeper in Glasgow, Mr Asad Shah, who appears to have had a very good reputation in his local community? He even posted a respectful good-will Easter message on Facebook, addressed to Christians as well as Muslims”
The problem with this example of yours is that you conveniently left out that the killer was a Muslim [a fact known for days by now, btw] and a rather deranged one at that! A vicious character who was spotted sitting on top of his victim, laughing after he stabbed him.
It’s a horrible tragedy what happened to this poor man, and this is a double-tragedy since he was of the good ones, making a sincere effort to get along well with everybody as demonstrated by the large number of people pouring their hard-earned money to help his family [*]
We need more people like that guy, who is sadly no longer with us anymore, and less of the deranged ones.
The problem is that this “religion” seems to breed the deranged-type like vermin.
Go and investigate how the Muslim communities treat ex-Muslims, converts or apostates, let alone homosexuals, women or their own children for that matter…
Don’t expect me to support that way of thinking, because it’s not gonna happen.
Not in a million years.

@TooLeg2Quit:
I can understand that you think that the fact that it was a Muslim baddie who murdered the Muslim goodie is relevant, and that I ‘conveniently’ left that bit out of my account. However, it wasn’t relevant, because I was busy putting my case that there are good Muslims around, and that, lo and behold, I had found one (the late Mr Asad Shah), and that he appeared to be a good counter-example to the frequent assertion on this discussion thread that there are no good Muslim men around – or that if they start off good they soon enough descend into badness.
You go on to say, “The problem is that this “religion” [Islam] seems to breed the deranged type like vermin”. That’s a difficult statement to disprove because it is a loose insinuation. However, we both agree that Mr Assad Shah somehow escaped derangement even though he was a follower of the Koran, and that he escapes the description of “vermin”.
Whether his murderer was a follower of Islam or not, is not relevant – if you follow my argument. I don’t disagree with you or with Martin of Soviet East Berlin that there are bad Muslim men around, and I don’t disagree with Siotu that this Muslim woman he has described has had a bad effect on her (originally non-) Muslim husband. I don’t disagree with any of that. And so I don’t need to acknowledge that Mr Shah’s murderer was a bad Muslim man, because he does not add anything – he is just another example of a baddie (or a mad person – which would be a mental health tragedy rather than a moral stain on him). What we all agree on is that, amongst all the badness, we have detected a sterling example of Muslim goodness, and that he represents the thin edge of the wedge: if there is one good Muslim man, there may be a few more, maybe many more, maybe millions. Muslim badness is not descend from father to son or from the Koran and its interpreters to all Muslims who grow up in the tradition or who read the Koran; Islam is not a virus fit for vermin.
If we can all agree on this, we may move on and maybe everyone who “hate Muslims” and don’t regard Islam as a world religion, will make a very slight shift in their perception of Muslims.
My final point is this: during the Arab spring, Egyptian television broadcast several debates between Feminists and fundamentalist Muslim mullahs. They can be viewed on YouTube (yep, I do watch YouTube). Let us pay tribute to these courageous women who took on the mullahs and showed them up for what they were: ignorant country boys with no broad education and little in the way of intelligence. No-one really needs to be afraid of them: in public debate they are easily beaten. All we need is at least one television channel in every Western, Eastern, and Middle Eastern country that has the courage to organise and broadcast such free and open debates, and I think that would make a significant contribution in our goal to beat dogmatism and ignorance.
One wonders, of course, why this very obvious anti-terrorist measure has not been adopted long ago, especially in the West. One wonders. – Gunnar

Yeah…. and!?
This is a prime example of egotistic people wanting to be ‘right’ (at any cost, even if it means using the memory of a dead man to get there :/) rather than allow the Truth to flow freely… and let people make their own goddamn minds about it.
“[..] And so I don’t need to acknowledge that Mr Shah’s murderer was a bad Muslim man, because he does not add anything [..]”
Oh! It freakin’ does! It means Muslim sectarian ‘wars’ hit mainland Europe, now! As expressed by the mindless killing of Mr. Asad Shah.
Seriously! How dare you say that? Can you say that with a straight face to his surviving family? The same family that has to go on hiding now, because according to the police‘s advice, they’re the next target…

Is this the same “Arab Spring” – a.k.a the Color Revolutions-type since back in Tunisie? (And then we saw repeating it in Egypt and even more crucially: in Libya…)

European people have their cultural, historical and racial (yes, racial) heritage,it can be found everywhere on the Internet. You can argue that the Europeans (mostly westerners) have plundered many countries in Africa,Asia and Middle-East,even subjugated and invaded the American Continent in a very cruel manner(which is historically well known also) I,like you do,condemn these atrocities as well. There is no problem there. But today, the immigrants from the same former colonies and subjugated, plundered countries are coming in huge waves, not seen since the last world war(just note, that in the last war,the immigrants or refugees were merely if not entirely Europeans -both cultural and racially)Now,giving the fact of Europe background (cultural, historical, racial)it is not so easy for them to cope with such a huge number of extra-European peoples.as far as I know, there are no Europeans who sought refuge in large numbers in any Middle-Eastern countries with one exception,Israel.Nor such thing had happen in Asia or Africa. The Europeans (or as some say – the whites)have indeed dominated these countries for centuries but that is not a plausible reason to come to Europe.Let’s tell the truth here : they are coming for a better material life, they want “freedom” -as they say – to have every good benefits as the Europeans have achieved with wars, revolutions and sacrifices, even killing each-other.I don’t say that this was the good way,but that is the fact on the ground today.Regarding the crimes committed by Europeans in their own countries : it is natural.By immigrants is not so.Why ? because,if once you as immigrant went from your homeland in a new country you must apply for some form of asylum. If you did that,it means that you have to respect the laws of that country which gave you asylum. You have to do your best to integrate in your new country and respect it’s culture. And this a reduced version of my views.

I beg to differ. In your eyes and the eyes of other white supremacists that might seem so, but not to the African, Indian, Pakistani etc. whose countries, as you yourself have openly admitted to, have been plundered and looted for centuries by the white man to build up and maintain your extravagant lifestyle, your so called “European values”, and which said looting is ongoing today through the auspices of such institutions as the IMF and world bank. Who the hell do you think you are ? You think you can rape these people to enhance your own quality of life and they are supposed to just take it and sit back in their own nations which are being rapidly depleted of any resources or means for the maintenance of anything resembling even a semblance of reasonable life ?

Just listen to yourself. A criminal is a criminal irrespective of race or colour and one thing that tends to distinguish criminals is that they don’t respect any law regardless of where they are. People with your narrow and self serving views are actually part of what is wrong with this world, not part of the solution.
If I may make use of an analogy, we are all, irrespective of race or creed or colour, all residents of this earth. We only have the one planet. We are all passengers on this cruise ship earth. People like you however are like passengers on the upper decks of the ship who seek to profit from setting the ship alight below decks thinking the fire will not reach you in your oh so pristine and perfect Europe. Well I got news for you, this raging fire is coming straight for you and your “European cultural values”.

The elites of Europe (many of Jewish extraction) have plundered other countries and got all the profits.
But it is convenient for the elites to blame “white” people. But who are these “White” people ? It makes no sense.
Most of the common people of Britain and France were living in extreme poverty and slave like conditions for much of 18th-19th century. Many of the white european people who immigrated in America etc were exploited and worked in slave like conditions. America became “great” with the exploitation of all these european people.
Not all european nations have a history of colonialism.
Most of the balkan nations were under Ottoman occupation with significant damage and looting being done by the Ottomans for centuries. Numerous christian people were sold as slaves or became janissary.
No one in the west talks about the Ottoman slavery, colonisation and occupation. No one talks about the need for Turkish reparations to be paid for the balkan people.

Interestingly.you never mention USA as a major perpetrator in the world in the last 70 years. Not to mention (and you didn’t mention it, Turkey,Saudi-Arabia,Israel)No immigrants from Middle-East,Africa and Asia comes to them in large numbers. Why ?
» Every single intelligence service in Europe has known for decades that immigrants are a major risk, both in terms of petty crime such as drug dealing and in terms of terrorism. «
Actually, not only petty crimes, but heavy crimes as well: murder, rape, robbery.
The best kept secret in Germany: the percentage of immigrants among prison inmates.
I read that about 50 % of prison inmates in Germany are not Germans. Not sure if that’s true, but if Austria is any indication, then it could very well be true, because in Austria the immigrant share among prison inmates is indeed a whopping 50 %.
Jeder zweite Häftling ist kein Österreicher
By the way, EU wide the share is 25 %!
There’s no denying the fact that the immigration we’re seeing is very bad for our societies.

Bernard-Henri Levy in France and Roger Scruton in England are poster-boys for the Establishment. Derrida is a different kettle of fish: he actually has interesting things to say: ‘differance’ [with an accent acute over the first ‘e’], ‘deferment’, and ‘deconstruction’, for a start. My favourite thinker, however, is a Japanese, Tominaga Nakamoto (1715-1746), who developed the concept of ‘kajo’ [the ‘o’ has a horizontal stroke over it]. Shuichi Kato mentions him in his volume 2 of “A History of Japanese Literature: The Years of Isolation”, pp. 129-136. ‘Kajo’ reminds me of ‘differance’ (and of Hegel’s concept of ‘dialectic’), although they are not the same. ‘Kajo’ denotes “the way new theories were created in order to go beyond previous theories. This implies an internal logic for the history of ideas” (p. 131), and “Nakamoto regarded no theory as having absolute authority or any special claim to be the truth” (p. 132), and he applied this concept to the history of Confucian and Buddhist thought. – Gunnar
Are we now to accept that Paris was not a Black Flag operation?
That the security services know fine well who is behind what racket or terrorism suggests that immigration makes it more difficult but not impossible to keep tabs on them. If they are left alone, it is not because of immigration.
Immigration will benefit Europe, if once it learns to stop trashing its neighbours in North Africa and the Middle East, and sorts out its security, and its attitude to foreigners. An aging population needs young people. As the US can testify, it makes economic sense.

Sorry but that is long updated, the young immigrants of today are much different. They are “infected” with the modern communication systems – in this sens they not differ from other European young people. They “live” the “dream” of internet ads.,a parallel world, therefore judging the real life from that point of view.I’m glad to had been born in another century.

Criminal Law: Federal Minister of Justice wants to abolish mandatory life sentence for murder
“””””The bill, the Federal Minister of Justice intends to submit Maas, provides that sentences for murder can be reduced to up to five years – if the perpetrator
“Out of desperation” acted
to “be or close to him from a seemingly hopeless situation of conflict” to liberate,
by a “grave insult” or “maltreatment (…) provoked to anger” was or
was affected by a “comparable violent emotion”.
At the same time Minister Maas wants to replace the controversial murder-category of “treachery”: In future all killings are regarded as murder, in which the offender the “exploits” “vulnerability” of the victim.
Also, the Minister clarified the murder characteristic of “low motives” (henceforth “particularly reprehensible motives”), which also includes explicitly racist and xenophobic attacks in the new version.
The design, with the Maas wipes also remnants of the “offender typology” of the Nazi period, encounters resistance of the Bavarian Justice Minister Winfried Bausback.
“The draft unfortunately confirms precisely what I have always warned, namely that at a – superfluous basically – will reform the absolute threat of punishment ‘lifetime’ for murder called into question”, Bausback told SPIEGEL. This is contrary to the established in the Basic Law, “the paramount importance of life”. In light of the “actual acts of terrorism” is the reform “completely the wrong signal.” (Read the full story in new SPIEGEL .) “””””
A sizzling hot piece of impassioned analyses here Saker, of the sickness that prevails and ails the minds of Europeans today.
Being born a half German and American, it’s with some sadness and considerable consternation that I have to agree with every word of your assessment here that Europe is dying of intellectual, moral and financial decay of it’s own making.
Seeing as how the same thing’s happening to the USA, I wonder if Continental Europe, once considered the center of “western civilization” that birthed the Renascence and gave us the “age of enlightenment” and Magna Carta, has not itself fallen prey and become a victim of American cultural imperialism, imposed on the world over the last half century, and ever since Germany’s occupation by the US at the end of the second world war?
Or is it just a case, that resulting from their own imperialistic histories and out of shear arrogance, that they never needed any help digging their own graves?
Would have included a paragraph about our “wars of choice” spreading chaos and militancy.
Afghanistan
Iraq
Syria
and more, many more.
There is a question ignored both by Europe and by those who deride it, or rather a looming crisis.
The US, Europe and China are taking the lead in making the planet inhospitable to humans. As Africa and the Middle East turn to desert, their inhabitants will face a choice between death by starvation or migration, with Europe the obvious destination.
The response to immigration favoured here appears to be to bar entry. It is deemed “politically correct” to accept refugees and migrants. Europe should rediscover the cultural and ethnic identity that never was (or rather identities – it should revert to its historic patchwork of national purities that never were).
This response is going to require the use of force.
Even if Europe somehow manages to cope with the consequences of Libya and Syria, and Turkey’s extortion and sabotage, it is still going to face this challenge.
Derision at Europe’s cultural decadence and admiration for its right-wing politicians does nothing to address this.
Are we going to close our borders and kill the victims of our economic greed if they attempt to save themselves by seeking a share of our decadence or affluence?

How so?

“Second, Europe has lovingly cultivated a obscene friendship with three of the foremost sponsors of terrorism on the planet – Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Israel.”
While EU and US are pressuring Russia, they are too soft and help the turkish regime.
EU has agreed to the Turkish mafia government’s extravagant demands for the illegal immigration issue. With the recent agreement, EU has agreed to give billions of euros to Turkey as aid and also a visa free access to 80 million Turks into EU countries. Millions of illiterate turks will settle in Germany and France.
Turkey is known as a sponsor state of terrorism and promotes illegal immigration into EU.
While there are numerous EU sanctions against Russia (for the Crimea issue), EU has no sanctions against Turkey.
Turkey has violated numerous international treaties and international agreements:
(1) Turkey illegally occupies the northern part of Cyprus since the invasion of 1974. Even though Turkey does not recognise the Republic of Cyprus, EU has started negotiations about the Turkish accession into EU.
(2) Turkish aircrafts violate the greek air space. When Turkey shot down the Russian aircraft (with the pretext that it violated its airspace), NATO’s statement was that the Turkish air space should be respected. What about the Greek air space ?
(3) Turkish war ships violate the greek territorial waters. Turkey does not recognise the 12 nautical miles of greek territorial waters (as defined by the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea) and threatens Greece with war (“Casus Belli”) if Greece extends its territorial waters into 12 nautical miles.
(4) Kurdish towns in Turkey are being bombed by turkish military and many kurdish citizens of Turkey are being persecuted, jailed or killed.
(5) Turkish government is dictatorial and authoritarian and has harassed and jailed many journalists.
(6) Turkey supports jihadists and terrorists in Syria.
“While EU and US are pressuring Russia, they are too soft and help the turkish regime.”
Makes perfect sense. Unlike Tsipras, Erdogan isn’t too fond of swooning before and flattering his superiors. I feel disposed to believe these latter appreciate “erratic” people gifted with a spine — this applies very much to how they view an enemy such as Putin as well. EU and the US are criminal entities being run by pure offal. Erdogan (friend) and Putin (foe) both understand what it takes to earn “healthy respect” from this kind of specimina. Putin, being their arch-enemy, of course must be far stronger dealing with them as compared to what suffices for a deluded fool such as Erdogan.
I’ve read somewhere that shortly before the Paris attacks, France was preparing to oficially recognize Palestine.
And that Belgium was about to do the same.
Then the attacks happened, and muslims are to blame, all of them, everywhere. Sounds familiar?
A 2014 RT article has a bit about it. The piece at the bottom of the article was interesting.
“Recognition of a Palestinian state by France would be a grave mistake,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told reporters in Jerusalem ahead of the French vote.
https://www.rt.com/news/211039-belgium-palestine-recognition-vote/
I don’t understand why Isreale’s constant open meddling in a country’s foreign policy is tolerated. If I were French I would vote against what Israel “advises” just to say ‘F you” and mind your own business.
It is no different from a family member constantly meddling in the private affairs of others in order fo further a personal agenda or for personal gain. Same dynamic. Why do the French put up with it? The Americans, too. But a few voices were raised here when Net came to lecture Congress on its patriotic duties toward Israel.
Ugh!!

rubbish israel must be protected at all costs we cannot allow another hollocaust in this century.
we need to find new homes for the trouble makers and anti semites.
oded yinon plan is a good start but not big enough scale.
“rubbish israel must be protected at all costs we cannot allow another hollocaust in this century.
we need to find new homes for the trouble makers and anti semites.”
You and Israeli’s are the anti-semites, as Palestinians are Semites. Yewish settlers are mostly from Eastern European origin and thus no semites at all. They had and have no business in Palestine. Zionism is a crime. The necessary territory to establish Israel could only be had by stealing it and murdering or chasing off the rightful owners. Those that remained are being treated as third rate citizens or worse.
Just as disgusting is how true semite jews are treated in Israel, they are maybe in a somewhat better position than the Palestinians but could definitely be called second rate citizens.
Idea: If the corporation USA likes Israel and its people so much, why not move all of them to Texas? More than enough territory for both the Texans and the Zionists. Same climat, nice sea, enough desert to feel at home and an already totally pro-zionist federal government. Would also be much better from a US-Israel budgetary standpoint… ;-) Taxrahell, the state vere you vill like it, vere you vill be taxed to hell.
@Katherine
It’s because the Rotschild, Anglo-Zionist colony is a major locus of control of the international finance system (which in turn controls – or mostly controls – the main energy sources (except for Iran) in the Middle East.
That’s exactly what ‘Israel’ was founded for – the transport of European Jews into ‘British’ Palestine necessitated an extreme narrative to get them to leave Europe, and act as a bulwark against Arab nationalism.
Zionism + holocaust was the recipe.
So any challenge to ‘Israel’ is a threat to Anglo-Zionist control of international finance/energy.

Europe sold itself out to corporations. I also agree that the police and criminal investigation teams are understaffed since years. Instead the surveillance apparatus is booming and delivering what it can best: after the facts accounting and patsi recruiting.
In my opinion, terror attacks – if not outright incited by the elite – are part of the nefarious consequences of misspending tax payers’ money in mass surveillance crap and foreign adventures. This waste of precious resources will continue because of corruption (surveillance and war is much more profitable to business than police) and blackmail (our leaders were taken by their balls long ago – if they ever had any).
As a result, Europe drops core charters of the human rights, such as the right to privacy, the rule of law and democracy, whilst also killing its ability to protect its citizens in the very same process. And it won’t stop unless its citizens enforce it, which I don’t count on.
After all, humans were never too stupid to repeat stupid behavior.
“Europe sold itself out to corporations”
The official propaganda is that EU promotes “peace” and “prosperity” but it is all lies.
EUROPEAN UNION was created by the business elites for the benefit of multinational corporations. EU member states are obliged to open up their economies to neoliberal economic globalisation. State sovereignty is also reduced as EU states are obliged to obey the directives and the regulatory framework of EU (which was designed and approved by unelected EU bureaucrats).
The economically stronger states (Germany, France etc) have more advantages, while the poorer states of the Southern/Eastern Europe are in disadvantage.
For historical and many other reasons, Germany has a higher level of economic development, higher productivity, and more competitive industries as opposed to other poorer states.
With the EU free trade agreements, German corporations gained access and dominated the markets of the other states by exporting German products (cars, electronics, machinery etc). While great profits return back to Germany, the poorer EU states cannot export the same quality and quantity of products into Germany. Therefore they have a trade deficit.
Furthermore, the local industries of poorer states go bankrupt because they cannot compete against the products of multinational corporations (many of them produced in Asian sweat shops). With EU membership, it is not allowed for a member state to protect its local industries and to industrialise with import substitution.
EU’s neoliberal institutional framework was designed for maximising the benefits of corporations.
Between the EU’s 28 member states, there is free movement of goods, capital, services, and people – the “four freedoms”.
The four freedoms is the essence of neoliberalism.
1) Corporations are free to sell goods and services wherever they like (without protective tariffs).
2) Cheap labour is allowed to move to higher wage countries. Because of cheap immigrant labour, wages are suppressed and native workers are in disadvantage.
3) Capital is free to move. Therefore, it becomes impossible to tax wealthy people and corporations as they can move to lower tax jurisdictions.
With the TRANS-ATLANTIC FREE TRADE PARTNERSHIP between EU-US, the consequences for the european workers will be very negative…..
I know and I agree. I wrote Europe on purpose because it is not only the European Union that sold itself (the EU fire-sold democracy as a primer), but its people selling their souls and freedoms for money.
If money rules instead of laws, I call it fascism – the flip-side of the capitalist coin. We know that money rules because the worst fraudsters are treated as if they were both too big to fail and too big to jail.
As usual Saker, you warm my heart, Bravo, everything Spot on.
It is hard most of the time to keep sane, as soon as one says anything ” ist es Wasser auf die Mühlen von den rechtspopulisten” ( ich kann es nicht mehr hören!)
Yes, the time for Europe is running out fast and the music on the Titanic is still going with merry tunes…..

Lavrov ain’t persuaded by her tears
“”A lightning rod named Mogherini”
In one week, the representative of European diplomacy has set out a series of initiatives to worsen our international relations and our economies.
She began by declaring that Europe would cooperate in the future with Russia just on projects beneficial for Europe. Clearly, for Frederica Mogherini, the word cooperation no longer means mutual benefits but unilateral exploitation of the partner. By restricting Russia to the rank of exploited captive, she behaves as a worshiper of exceptionalism and the manifest destiny of the American people.
Faced with such remarks, Sergei Lavrov said to her that Russia did not intend to be dictated by anyone either what to do or not do and that his country had no need of such cooperation.
Then she reprised the old song about “the annexation of Crimea” and insisted on returning the Crimea into the Ukrainian lap, evoking ad nauseam human rights and the plight of minorities. This, given the near future that is emerging for Ukraine, is the same as asking Crimea to return to — nothingness.
Europe is already hostage to the Ukraine that refuses to comply with the Minsk agreements, and our High Representative wants to add a motive to prevent the lifting of sanctions. Better, she wants to strengthen them without realizing that each new sanction against Russia is one more nail that Europe hammers into the coffin of its economy.
The Russian minister described this request as “arrogant contempt of the population of Crimea,” and advised her to come see the fate of minorities, and if perchance Mrs. Mogherini was looking for a for human rights struggle, she would do well to consider “actual violations of rights of the inhabitants of the Crimea by the Tatar and Ukrainian nationalists who cut off the peninsula from water, from transport, from power and energy with the full consent of the Ukrainian authorities.”
Now our passionate Atlanticist is wanting to present a draft resolution to punish Russia at the next UN session, and has invited countries such as China or Brazil to support this resolution. The Chinese ambassador to the UN has declared that China generally does not like unilateral sanctions and that it considered that it is not a good way to solve problems.
When asked if he meant the EU-US sanctions against Russia, he said yes. A force to support irrational positions dictated by Washington, Mrs. Mogherini is involving Europe, that is to say, all its member states, in difficulties with the major global economic players.
Our High Representative for Foreign Affairs of Europe is in fact a simple lightning rod on the dome of the White House as she lets the European peoples sear on the grill.”

“Writing on the Wall” refers, of course, to the story of Belshazzar’s Feast in chapter 5 of Daniel. The story strongly suggests that the king, Belshazzar, was “wanting” – that he had failed, and therefore was doomed. Indeed, it goes on to tell that the king’s guards murdered him.
The parallels with Europe to-day simply do not exist. European minions of the several suzerain client states are not “wanting” – they are not rulers but servants and clients of Empire. They obey Policy. The article above is not only, therefore, wrongly and inappropriately titled, but incorrect in basic understanding of the forces and drivers involved.
That the Policy of Empire is secret doesn’t change the fact that the Policy exists and is being followed.
Europe is being deliberately de-naturalized and set to ethnic and religious war – war which will be called “civil war” but is actually a war classic and massive in historic scope – unspeakable in cruelty and violence.
Why this Policy?
To poison the well of the Earth Island such that Europe cannot join with its natural economic partners from the abutting continents, and, obviously, Russia and Asiatic states.
This is a logical, if vile, Policy by the “sea-people” (Anglo-saxons, mostly) to prevent a unified Europe and to thus maintain Sea Powers control over the earth.
It is not “suicide”, it is not a “failure” of “leadership”. It is the deliberate making of a Great War – it is murder and genocide. Both the “terrorists” and the “terrorized” are being used in a cynical manipulation by the Empire.
Millions will meet awful fates by this Policy. It is Criminal in a way that’s breath-takingly beyond what was imagined at Nuremberg…
However…
The outcome of this campaign (and it’s only a campaign within a vast world war that traces back to 1945) – the outcome is yet to be decided.
When the rotted corpses are buried and the violence is spent it may be that the Eastern branch of Christendom will have prevailed. I suspect that this will entail a re-unification of Christianity’s East and West splinters…but that this may well take place as a subsuming of the Western Branch and not a joining of equals – just my suspicion…
Some expect that the ground for a similar technique is being created in North America…
That would be recognizable as “divide and rule” – again ,a classic tool of Empire.
None of this is really secret or new – and it is still early days. Several outcomes remain possible.
Pax, Brothers and Sisters, turn away from violence and embrace Love – that’s the one method they cannot defeat.
It’s time to reform the European Union (EU) by bringing in both Russia and Turkey into a new, “extended” version of the continent, Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy said, according to the French political weekly magazine Le Point.
Following the terrorist attacks in Brussels on Tuesday that left at least 31 people dead and over 300 injured, Sarkozy said a time has come to introduce some major changes in the modus operandi of the European continent.
“EU treaties need to be re-written,” Sarkozy said, as cited by Le Point.
Sarkozy advocates for a new “extended” Europe, which would have both Russia and Turkey as its close allies.
According to the former French president, Europe should be divided into three zones. The first zone would consist of Eurozone countries, which in Sarkozy’s opinion should aim for a closer integration. The second European zone should have “smaller countries” which would have less integration than their counterparts from the first group. And last but not least, the third European zone, which would include both Russia and Turkey as allies, should become the area of cooperation.
In Sarkozy’s mind this kind of integrationist model would make it easier to figure out many problems the EU’s currently facing. Furthermore, by becoming the member of Europe’s third integration zone, Turkey would solve the long-standing issue of its potential EU membership.
Le Point suggested that Sarkozy’s willingness to reform Europe and re-build the continent based on the three-zone model shows his desire to build closer relations with Moscow.
Interestingly, Sarkozy said in the past that Turkey isn’t a European nation and therefore should never join the EU. By suggesting that Turkey should join the “extended” version of Europe, Sarkozy is perhaps trying to kill two birds with one stone: on the one hand, benefit from economic and political cooperation with Ankara; on the other hand, keep the Turks out of the heart of Europe — Eurozone nations.

not sure I wish to go along with all of this…………………..
One point:
In view that Russia has defeated ISIS/IS in Syria, we know that Syria profits first, as it’s their right, great!
But WHO profits after that?
In my view non other than the EU; Syrians will, for the most part, go back to their beautiful country. Just wait until they face the systemic racism of some countries in Europe .
But, if my memory serves me well , it was at that moment that the EU decided to expand the Russian blockade, although most likely in the works under pressure from empire. Yet everybody seems to ignore this supreme act of ingratitude .
It is not the Russian Federation’ job to take responsibility for the short-sighted, greedy, and criminal policies in the Middle East by the Natoists.
While I agree in the fact that the European leadership is intellectually and morally bankrupt, I do not agree in that European citizenship is intellectually, socially and morally bankrupt. Economically yes, but because of the theft organized by the European big banks and the Troika ( where it has an important role an Anglo-US institution governed by Anglo-US big banks, the IMF ).
European citizenship does what it can amongst the offensive deployed against them at several fronts, but mainly at economical and informational levels.
Also it is not true that the European citizenship does not mourn Russian and other terrorism victims around the world, at least in my country, Spain, where even the Russian Ambassador had to sent a statement to a digital medium thanking the ample sympathy samples received after the disaster of flight Kogalymavia 9268.
When people does not mourn a disaster is only because has not been informed of it.
Therefore, the suffered European citizenship, that has seemed lethargic for several decades, is waking up slowly and I fear that, once again, as many times along history, will have an important part, if not will lead it, in the resurgence of a global resistance movement.
The signs are there for anyone who wants to see them, the social fabric virtually, destroyed after the last blow to the organization among equals coming from the US Reaganomics Offensive headed by the illustrious Reagan and followed here by his acolyte Thatcher in the United Kingdom against Trade Unions and other workers organizations, surprisingly, repairs and regenerates itself, as the broken bone repairs itself or the neural network resstores itself when the arterial supply has been throttled for a while.
Because, we are humans, and so, in addition to our weaknesses and miseries, we also have many strengths, and, surprisingly, we are able to rise from our ashes like a phoenix.
Another point of view on the Brussels attacks that, in my opinion, points to the real culprits ( not precisely Mrs. Mogherini ):
“False flag operation in Brussels”: by Joaquín Flores
http://katehon.com/article/false-flag-operation-brussels
Joaquin Flores’s analysis seems to be basically ‘Who profits, and how?”
Which is not meant as a criticism of his piece.
He states the obvious question in a slightly different way, in regard to accepting Isis as the assumed perpetrator of the attack.
Katherine
“Who profits, and how?”
Commonly said: cui bono?
I am surprised that the authorship of these attacks is taken at face value.
For one thing, the picture of the three suspects was released by the same media outlet that released the fake video of the explosion (video from a different place)
http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-brussels-attacks-what-is-true-what-is-fake-three-daesh-suspects-at-brussels-airport/5516269?platform=hootsuite
There really is no reason to suppose these attacks were genuine “ISIS” (or whatever funny name you like) attacks.
http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2016/03/25/is-the-latest-isis-attack-another-false-flag-paul-craig-roberts/
Way off the mark.
All deep state Gladio B fake terror attacks in Europe and all the deep state mass shooting, school shootings, Boston bombings in the US serve one goal:
Furthering the Zionist, Fascist iron grip of the Corporatocracy by weakeining and abolishing of all nation states.
” It is hard to believe, but most countries in Europe are slowly turning into what is usually called a “failed state”
It is not hard to believe. One just has to look! All Western states have long ago lost their sovereignty. All governments, all parliaments, all courts have long ago been reduced to cardboard stage sets. George Soros alone has more power than all NATO prime-ministers taken together. And George Soros is just a tiny cog in the Controller’s wheel.
I know that I sound harsh, but I just report what I see.
I have a harsher assessment of what is happening to passively suicidal Europe. I see everything the Americans have done to tie Europe up on knots as a very clear genocidal need to control the 500 million Europeans permanently, making sure as they do this, the population grows less, not more. A goal of 100 million is wanted, opening up growing fields, methods of redrawing all borders, cultures and languages…in short redrawing identities. Permanently.
Europe clearly facing these plans, refuses to look at them except to make disapproving grimaces, and then forget a dialogue is mandatory in order to stop the relentless New World Order obsessives. The only country in Europe the US soldiers ever left, was France and they had to be physically thrown out. then not allowed to return…by the president himself.
The open theft of Ukraine was the essental parcel of land with which to make a human crowbar to forcibly spit Europe apart from Russia. Since it is clear Europe will not do this on her own, America will be forced to do the splitting herself. She will refuse to ever leave Ukraine. Therefor Russia will have to bomb her out!
Thanks Saker for including me! In my own postings every day I retell the path of my understanding of the world chaos today, how it arrived to our today..It is a direct line from American meddling. My analysis as good as is Putin’s, which floors me, makes for humility. I recognise your analyses as my own which is of great danger to write of constantly in the tiny Netherlands the US was last week sure it owned. I do it anyway. That you do it too, is cooler than cool, makes me smile when actually there is little to smile of. No time to remain silent. I keep hoping more Hollanders will speak freely. They are literally dying to.
The sure, contemptuous enraged tone of the many who responded your “the Writing on the Wall” is scary, even dangerous. The reasons behind Europe’s malaise is far more than a collections of fairly recent incidents, but directly related to the determined unending, 24/7, US interference. In order to declare it is international, it must create foreign wars to win, but it loses everyone of them, so it must intend to lose them.
US preparation of the European continent today took generations and trillions to set up for instance. Every detail coordinated with thousands of miles of data and private intelligence gathering since before WW1 and after WW11, which the West made sure never ended as the outcome needed of WW11, or the erasure of Russia, never happened.Remember USA never came into WW1 until after Russia beat Hitler? Starting plans to invade Russia with Britain right after.
As of now have been writing, reading, for12 hours, later. Will pick it up from here tomorrow. Thanks again. Suzanne
In Europe we can see ‘Divide Et Impera’ rule at it best. Anglozio empire divide europeans and rule them by fear & propaganda. Divided we are easy target. Not only now and not only in XX century, I and II Crimean Wars, Russia and Turkey, Turkey who was pushed to war with Russia by Anglo empire ax proxy… So nothing new on western front… In Polish mass media presstitutes write 2-3 times per week articles abour Russia Invading Poland :D Under this articles polish readers have fun and joke about it, as we are no enemy of other slavic, so comments are censored to maintain propaganda line…They want divite and seed fear and hate betweens slavic peoples and european peoples to rule them and murder them.
2nd is Kalergi plan & NWO agenda. Muslims are choosen to be ideal citizens, better ideal proles. No ideas like personal freedom, inly totalitarian idea from birth do last breeth. This ideas are also not so new, they are from 30′ XX Centrury, from zio Frankfurt School of Social Science… This is not so secret now, Elites in Eu want to change ethnicity in Euristan, they want gfet rid of europeans. This is reason of ban free speech about danger, not a simple ‘political corectness

Hey Thorin.
It’s all the same here in Scandinavia – but many people see true their lies.
This Martin is not identical to myself.
“MOSCOW, March 26.
We are currently in a state of information warfare with the trendsetters in the information space, most notably with the Anglo-Saxons, their media,” Peskov said.”
http://tass.ru/en/politics/865324
Oh! For the millionth time! Can we please separate the European media and the establishment from regular European people? [And I say Europeans because is the subject matter of this blog entry, not the Yanks].
You can’t have much of a “public image” if you keep ignoring the public part of it. The public’s opinion of Russia is generally quite positive and they’re sick to their back teeth of seeing the demonization going on of Putin and everything Russian.
Let me give you one example; in one of those articles saying that Russia was plotting to invade Europe (according to some NATO mouth-piece, of course), for one thing people didn’t buy it, but the most astonishing part (quite funny as well) was that plenty were saying; Good! If Putin invades perhaps he can help us break down this cursed EU!
If you wanna talk about ‘blowbacks’ there’s one massive blowback right there, if you ask me.
It’s getting to the point that if Russia were to invade, plenty of ethnic Europeans will happily sign-up to fight on the Russian side.
Oh! But in this hypothetical scenario, have a wild guess who are the ones that will side with Eurocrats? Those from the “religion of peace.”
It seems Russians and Russophile commentators are blissfully unaware of the rampant Russophobia going on in European Muslim communities. It also seems, they’re unaware that most Muslims here are the ultra conservative type, that means, conservative Sunni, in turn it means: not the happy Sunni type fighting for the SAA.
I’ve read plenty of articles from moderate Muslims trying to blow the whistle on how ultra conservative the Muslim communities in Europe are becoming, some going as far to say their attitudes are even worse than in Saudi Arabia. They testify that far from softening-up when they move to Europe, it has the opposite effect of hardening them up, clinging to more and more extreme interpretations of Islam. And instead of each new generation getting more ‘integrated’ they get more insular and even more conservative than the previous ones.
And perhaps the Muslims in America are anti-Hegemon and pro-Russia, I don’t know, but not so here in Europe. They hate Russia and more specifically Putin because of the Chechen–Russian conflict. Also, they weren’t too happy about the Russian intervention in Syria either, because on top of everything else… they hate Assad, of course! Just like they hated Gaddafi and Saddam before him… start to see a pattern?

Of course there is a pattern, because main target of this all decisions, also their puppet Merkel’s decision to take 3 mln army of male muslims is to destroy Russia. After bloody slaughter of millions christians by communist bolszeviks called by poles ‘ZydoKomuna’, by I and II world war, staged & prepared wars, maintained to destroy christians and europeans.
Today’s Bolsheviks, know that REAL europeans not Coudenhove-Calergi ‘guests’ do not want war with Russia and will not fight with Russia. Also Poland, who is seen as russophobic do not want ANY war with Russia. We’ re same culture and religion and race.. yes race… and it its also factor.. We re also same victims of christian slaughter by bolshevik revolution, who came to poland after II ww. Many poles woke up after ukraine coup d etat, much more woke up after flooding europe with murderous death cult savages. People are stupid but not as stipid. They start thinking, thinking, thinking… and they start asking… Why so much muslims? Why so much brainwashing? Why so much hate for christians? Why so much hate for Russians ? Maybe this muslims are army in civilian clothes? Maybe not only savage rapefugees but human resource to open european front in war with russia? Maybe those muslim hordes are cannon meat for Warld War III in hands of luciferians and with agenda to kill all whites and christians in Europe? Their hatred not only for Russia but for Slavic is wide known in Poland, Slovenia, Czech and Hungary… Those are popular believs in slavic internet blogs and forums and not only conspiracy blogs… It’s not secret any more, Islam is used from decades as weapon to destroy european ethnicity and main goal, their wet dream – to destroy Russia as final reward.
@Why so much hate for christians? Why so much hate for Russians ?
What is the common factor living among Poles and Russians who hates Christians more than anything else?
Who fought tooth and nail against the Orthodox Church and the Catholic alike? Chabad, Bund, Poale Zion, Mensheviks, Bolsheviks, what’s their common factor?
@the rampant Russophobia going on in European Muslim communities…they hate Russia and more specifically Putin because of the Chechen–Russian conflict.
Does not become crystal clear why the Islam cesspool is constantly stirred?
What PC Roberts says here is very very true:
“If the various bombings are false flag attacks, the governments will get away with them, because the attacks blamed on Muslim terrorists fit every agenda that is out there. Government agendas for more war, military spending, and police state measures are served. But so also are the agendas of those who want to limit immigration, those who want to blame the bombings on blowback from Western imperialism, those such as the Russian government who desire a united front against terrorism, and those who use the bombings to stress the innate goodness of the West, which attracts hatred because of its goodness. Washington likes the bombings because they keep Europeans scared and the governments under Washington’s thumb.
Anyone who raises real questions is set upon by every group for whom the bombings blamed on ISIS are a blessing to their agenda.”

Quite correct, save one major problem: As long as Russia doesn’t capitulate before the Zionazis, the latter will have to subject the EU populations to ever more brutal austerity, oppression, and utter lawlessness. Clearly, this can only lead to very real terrorist initiatives from below. To wit: However much the Western sheeple would like to be spared the bloodletting, the GWOT will become ever more tangible, dangerous, and appreciably unpleasant to them. If they still want to seek consolation in “European values, freedom, and democracy” — well, let them.
“Every single intelligence service in Europe has known for decades that immigrants are a major risk, both in terms of petty crime………………..”
Sorry, this is bullshit. You have distinguish between travelling members of international mafias, and immigrants being up to settle. The first are heavy organized crime, nothing unusual. However, the most serious problem with this type of criminality is the policy of international crime to whitewash their assets and invest in legal business as structure for criminal activities. Once established, they become a political power and merge with politics and big business.
The second group in most cases has a crime rate far below comparable groups of the autochthonous population – this is a fact validated by decades of research and police experiences.
But there is a third group, marginalized youngsters born and grown up in Europe with a migratory background of their parents. Some groups are in paricular affected such as the Marroquain in Francophone Europe – this is inherited from the racist suppression and terror agaoinst North Africans in France during the post WWII colonial war ended by Charles de Gaulle, but continued in the Banlieus and escalated by Sarcozy and the absence of a sound political structure in belgium due to the Walloon-Flamish conflict paralyzing Belgium. And there is a huge infrastructure of Wahabist institutions funded by Saudia Arabia and staffed by Turkey, creating vast networks of radicalized youngsters to be used for geopolitical purposes. And as ISIS, the masterminds behind the scene are the those parts of the secret services which follow the tradition of the Safari Club, in US the Dulles brothers’ branch. They are running a parallel foreign policy which does not restrain from killing US presidents if they interfere to much. Puppeteers are from the Anglo services, the Israeli services and Saudi Arabia plus comrades from French services, the German BND, remains of the Franco legacy in Spain and P2 legacy in Italy, and the Polish tradition of the post WWI facism in Poland and the Baltics. ISIS and “muslim” terror is Gladio 2.0, as during the sixties and seveties targeted against independent movements which act against manipulating Western Europa into a war on Russia.
The results are not necessarily false flags. The structures behind these massacres are buildt out of double, triple and quadruple crossed patsies (on the low level probably not aware that their mission has a one-way ticket only), and some few masters behind the scene pulling the strings and organising the support for these networks, maintaining full plausible deniability.
And the regular security services in Europe are tricked out by this – the first and the second layer of these organizations are obscuring the structure behind it, so you can have easy success on this level, motivating to look not too deep into inconsistencies, strange connections and in particular, into the “cui bono” question. It is like the “war against drugs” – you catch the street level and small traders, but no way to touch the organised pipline of Opium from Afghanistan and the enablers behind the scene. These are deep state revenues, they are out of reach.
The regular security services now are pushed to accept guidance and control by Anglo and Israeli “specialists”, and in particular Israel tries to feed a beeing encircled by foes and terrorists feeling, so that European populations might join the brutal Israeli quest of colonizing whole Middle East. This is of utmost importance for the fascist Israeli government loosing support at home and internationally to a critical degree, so these terrorist acts have a relevant pedagocic effect.
This is how occupation and infiltration really looks like, and this is much more against European genuine interests than this still quite thin terror infrastructure which would have been rounded up quickly if there would not be powerful enablers behind the scene. But any member of the security services starting to ask the wrong questions will run into problems – thus the tale of incompetence to create stress and insecurity among the honest members in the services.
As in all wars of the Empire, the real agenda is submission of any serious economic competition and autonomous political movements pursuing the national and regional interests for their people (and their industries, of course predominantly). And as final step, the submission of Russia and China with the vasals as patsies. Nothing new under the sun since two centuries.
The only new thing is that time is running out again for the masters. They overplayed their hands and are forced to act, thus forced to risk. And the cracks become larger and more obvious every day.
There are opportunities for throwing wrenches into this well oiled hidden structure behind this terror, and honest people in the services, the police and politics have to be supported (and it has to be demanded from them) to do serious investigations.
I am not so pessimistic.
I see the attacks primarily as a reaction to the (threatening) losses in Palmyra – just like the Charlie Hebdo attacks were a reaction to the losses at Kobani. Given reports that morale with ISIS is low they desperately need some success.
The situation in Europe is not comparable to that in Russia. In Russia there was an underlying wish for independence of Chechnya and other Muslim territories that caused many people who rejected their methods to feel at least some sympathy for the insurgents. But in Europe such a background is lacking. Yes, many Muslims are not happy and some feel discriminated. But they are well aware that those attacks will only make their positions worse.
Exporting jihadists was unfortunately popular in the EU. But Russia has done it too. Some mistakes are easy to make.
The decisions that lead to these self-destructive actions may not be entirely found at the national level, but above that. For a long time, Earth has been governed in this way, yet, any time someone dares to point out that these puppets who play the roles of leadership are not really in charge, and do not concern themselves with the welfare and protection of the people, the reaction begins with derision, and ends with incarceration or execution.
This IS the war for Planet Earth, but it is also the war of the spiritual, in which the final outcome of mankind will be decided. The most frustrating issue for me is that while this war is being waged right in front of us, most of the population refuses to even consider that it has been going on and that they personally are in great danger. They refuse to see who their real, supreme enemy is, because they are unaware that this enemy has the ability to twist their minds and manipulate their nature so they cannot see him.
Nobody can force your belief in God, nor His worship, but, what is the alternative? There IS only one. And it is NOT a brave, new, ideological world, it is death. EU will tear itself apart. This is an objective. It depends on the inability of these people to see the truth at last, and reject the whole premise, which was deception from the start. The battle lines of the present were set centuries ago, when The Rus and the Persians allied to defeat the common enemy, Khazaria and they have been fighting ever since, but deeper than that, it is Mystery Babylon, established by the lie of Satan, versus The Way of The Son of Man.
I wish you all a Pascha that enlightens the mind and brings joy to the soul, that He is Risen! Indeed, He is risen!
Well stated! As St. Paul wrote, “For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in high places.”
Brilliant. I see this but as far worse right now, and yes it will get to the dissolution point, if it is not there already. It has been carefully led to be where it is in terms of rigidly going against everything that are the true interests of Europe, including garrotting Russia in it’s Muslim territory with the US “help”the Saker detailed. I see the fine hand of the thug nation, preparing Europe to fall apart after not being allowed to heal normally starting when Russia won WW11 from The Third Reich. The mangled Japanese ending was US set up quite carefully so that she seemingly ended the last one of the double wars using the unusable bombs in order to terrorise Russia, Europe and all Asia into global obedience. It was un-neccessary to ever use them. Their use then was criminal at the time!President Truman knew that at the time. In fact he waited until Roosevelt was formally declared dead before oking the dropping of those two bombs. Japan was set up to be used as a nation of guinea pigs in a laboratory. Deliberately. You see the US oligrachs who funded Hitler were sure he would take down Russia. When Russia beat him, the US sent in the troops. What to pivot on? Japan, of course. Never ever leaving Europe, the US could set it up easily for taking down Russia and eliminating it from with in with European ex-Nazi enthusiastic help. We are there in terms of the US game plan. Bush 1 excelled in fomenting Roman type Chaos. He was proud of his con-man legacy to the globe, beyond the limits of pride…hubris.
How to deal with the current terrorist threat. Here is an idea for EU leaders
1) stop bombing Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, etc.
2) stop spending money on people and regimes that are known to be untrustworthy or outspoken criminal
3) stop blaming the victim. Paris, Brussel, London, Madrid, ALL these terrorist attacks were committed by local people and NOT by refugees. Refugees are not the problem.
4) Rebuild the countries that you bombed to pieces the last 15 years, and more…
5) An apology seems to be in place. The EU (and Washington) should be very sorry for the oil for food program in Iraq, the bombing of Al Shifa, the destruction of Syria, and so on and so forth.
6) Install truth commisions. The EU must learn from its mistakes which can only occur if mistakes are acknowledgd in the open and scrutinized into detail. This does not only relate to war, but to the economy as well.
7) Stop thinking: “after me, the flood”. That is typical thinking for French Kings, which did not end well for the kingdom of France…
Sorry for the bad English, which hopefully doesn’t disturbe this thought.
8) Russia should unceremoniously just nuke the Euro-trash. That would be an act of Enlightenment in more than one sense of the word.
And then swallow the fallout? Come on. It will happen early enough due to 40+ years old nuclear pressure cookers/rust-bins running out of control.
Interview 1152 – Sibel Edmonds Shines A Light on the Brussels Attacks
Sibel Edmonds of Newsbud.com joins us to discuss the Brussels attacks. We discuss Belgium’s central role as the base of NATO/EU/Gladio headquarters and how the script of this event follows the script of previous false flags almost precisely. We also talk about the public’s reaction to these events and how both the mainstream and alternative media are being divided and conquered to keep people from questioning the true roots of these events.

Looking back, not so long ago, the Euro was seen as a serious alternative to the USD. We have seen what happens to countries that try to get outside the USD deathgrip – Iraq (sell oil in euro), Libya (pan-african gold backed currency). I guess that is one factor in its demise. Others including destroying Europe as a potential trading partner with Russia, as Russia itself seems too strong for the Anglo-Zionists and Europe’s insistence on regarding Israels settlement of the Occupied Territories as illegal. All these factors contribute to a big attempt to ‘F*ck the EU’.
ISIS learnt a lot from the KLA (another terrorist outfit supported by Europe). It seems to have used the same torture and decaptitation techniques used the the KLA against Serbs.
“They did the right thing, of course, but deep in their hearts most Russians are also quite aware that when Russians were murdered by the hundreds by Wahabi terrorists no EU parliament had any minutes of silence and no the predecessors of Mrs Mogherini shed any tears.”
Following the ISIS attack against the Russian A321 over Egypt, in which hundreds of Russian citizens died, Charlie Hebdo, the pinnacle of enlightened European standards, came out with a cartoon mocking the incident. Charlie Hebdo seems to be totally silent over this attack, no mocking the deaths of Belgians. I’m sure RUssians have noticed this as well.
Charlie Hebdo — vous êtes plus foutus et plus imbéciles que l’UE tout entière. Ce qui vous êtes arrivés en janvier 2015 me semble bien mérité.
Salut, salauds.
A brilliant analysis where Europe is today. My take on it is even worse than yours. Europe will not recover from it’s victim’s malaise, USA easily induced, until US NATO is dismembered and shipped, (I.E. forced), home to America. I guarantee Europe will not be able to gather the will to do this on her own, which is why Russia had to be criminally demonised for over 300 years. American foreign policy is to permanently demonise Russia until she if finally genocidally is cleansed of her identity. Fanciful? Not to the obsessed.
Here in Spain, at least most people have no problems with immigrants who have been coming so far.
During the years of fat cows they were taking jobs that other natives did not want, especially during the boom in building trade that led to the housing bubble. In certain coastal areas they were almost the only ones who were going to the sea for fishing. In the case of woman they worked in caring for elderly and householding chores. So, they were occupying positions of harder or poorly paid work, but they were integrating themselves into society, and we have never had any problems, except for some minor from the Maghreb devoted to crime and bad life or some coming from certain countries in the East who come with toot many demands trying to obtain here what they never had or demanded in their countries of origin.
Also, at least in my area, we have always been supportive, and it is not true that we consider slave, or any other people less human, because here have been coming since many years the children from Chernobil, and not only but also the Saharawi children, who have all here a second family who takes care of them, make them their medical examinations and provide them with everything they need to spend a health and happy summer.
I have the feeling that from the US, despite the more the things could change from the next election on, we will always be given lessons in something, in tolerance, compassion and solidarity, be it with the Slavs or any other peoples, but also in resistance. We, Europeans.
I fear that the disease of exceptionalism will be difficult, if not impossible, to eradicate.
There are other peoples in the world who are also and even more humanitarian and supportive and do not look at race or color, and, casually, they are socialists, they are the Cubans, who have educated part of a whole generation of Yemenis from the South and have been attending children from Chernobyl for decades:
http://elterritoriodellince.blogspot.com.es/2016/03/otro-ejercicio-democratico-de-ucrania.html
“(…) They will meet 30 years of the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl (Ukraine). Then Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union. It was on April 26, 1986. An explosion destroyed the protective cover of the reactor and radiation spread rapidly. Some 100,000 people were affected.
There was a country, exemplary where there be, which offered what it had: his splendid medical service to cater those affected by radiation, especially children. That country is Cuba. His best specialists turned in treating those affected, who were mostly children. Many of them had very serious injuries. The site chosen was the Tarara Pediatric Hospital, east of Havana. It is a place where pioneers are welcomed with their families. It has 520 homes and hospital facilities and has a beach of one kilometer.
Since then, have gone through Tarará 18,910 children from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. All affected by radiation and, not surprisingly, are the Ukrainians the largest number being directly affected by the disaster. Many of them (59%) have been diagnosed and treated for serious conditions, especially in the endocrine system with dominance of thyroid hyperplasia. Also with heart disease, eye diseases and skin conditions. In over more than 60% cases a direct relationship with the radiation was detected and in the rest, an indirect relationship. 810 of them came to be, and still are, in Tarara several years in the care of their ailments.
Cuba never said anything other than what was doing was its duty: attending for free, for solidarity and internationalism all these children. To the extent that in 2000 and 2003 Ukraine itself recognized the invaluable service provided by Cuba.
Those were different times. In 2010 Victor Yanukovich became president and reiterated the gratitude of Ukraine for the treatment they are still receiving Ukrainian children and not so children and promised to pay the full cost of treatment. The Cubans refused, but Ukrainians insisted and was the Ukraine itself who estimated that cost in 350 million dollars.”(…)
i’LL dare say it if others won’t. While it is still early days yet and little information has been given out by the authorities for publication we can immediately ask the first question of the most importance. cui bono – who benefits? Why the usual suspects of course, the hegemon. This is very likely a NATO operation as it follows the same script as their original “Gladio” high casualty events now done under the name “Gladio B” operations. Already the story line, with what little information having been released is crumbling under scrutiny. Just one, the reader can do their own research: how did the Belgian media DH publish the CCTV video still of all three of the suspected terrorists two hours after the blast? The authorities released the same still two hours later of the three walking through an airport. When were they taken? How do such known, convicted and sentenced to jail criminals with known terrorist organizational contacts as fighters in Syria travel back and forth so easily?
My feeling is that not much will be revealed on this case for the sharp eyed journalists to pull apart.. This event will smolder away as with the MH 17 file but we all should know who is ultimately behind all these operations just like the ones in Russia mentioned in this article.
Motive…opportunity… and means…and cui bono

there is a little unkown book, the green rose by warren silver. a historic fiction as today are much in vogue.

a very good reading, and a good advisory on times to come ?
(a lot more could be said about it, but i am a bit lazy at the moment :P )
Inglaterra ( U.K.),Israel y U.S.A.

This has to be about the least impressive article by The Saker that I’ve seen. It joins the mainstream press in magnifying with moral panic what is basically a minor issue in terms of “survival of the EU” (terrorism within European borders). And looking over all the factors The Saker lists leading to such events, it amazes me that he of all people neglects the single overarching reason, not so much the elephant in the room as the Tyrannosaurus Rex crushing the house: Sponsorship of violence and deprivation in the Middle East and surrounding region.
First, the significance of the terrorism itself: It’s insignificant. It’s awful for the people who died, but there are five hundred million people in Europe. And it’s so far from being a threat to the powers that be in Europe, that if it weren’t happening on its own they’d probably be running some false flags just to pretend. They will probably use the very fact that the terrorists hit Brussels to try to shore up some of the flagging acquiescence to the EU project in Europe–if the terrorists hate it, we must defend it kind of thing. You’re either with Europe or you’re with the terrorists, et cetera. All that and it sells newspapers too–who in power in the EU is likely to give a damn about a few deaths when they’ve got this kind of PR boon? There are huge pressures which may cause the dissolution of the EU or at least the Eurozone, but terrorism is not among them.
Second, why it’s happening. It wouldn’t matter how many immigrants the EU allowed in, or whether some of them were affiliated with the PKK, or that they were buddy-buddy with the Saudis, or that their security forces weren’t great at running a police state, or any of that. None of that by itself or in combination would in itself lead to terrorism on EU soil. The PKK haven’t done any terrorist acts in Europe, for instance–it may be wrong to harbour them, but they want to do whatever they want to do in Turkey, not Europe, and it would be stupid of them to foul their logistical base. Europe could do each and every thing that The Saker says are the problem, and none of it would cause any terrorism in Europe if nobody saw the EU as being in any way culpable for the horrific events that have been happening in the last 15 years in Afghanistan, then Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Syria, and in less internationally notorious fashion Mali, Algeria and so on. But they are culpable, and they are seen as such by some who were among the victimized or feel connected to those who were (They are also culpable for some of what happened in Chechnya, but the Chechens and Russians have not taken revenge, so it’s not relevant to terrorist attacks on Europe). One might argue that given that culpability, they should be keeping out refugees and building up their police state and so on to escape the fruits of their crimes. But I don’t think given their geography and history that any of that stuff would be sufficient to stop terrorism, and if they were to make a serious public volte face to a less unjust foreign policy it would not be necessary.

Re the second section of your contribution above.
I wonder if this is really a valid justification. After all, not a single person who was killed or injured in the attack on the airport had anything to do with organising or committing acts of terror in the Middle East or elsewhere. Still, they got to suffer.
How easy the attempted justifications of such criminal acts by the pretending “Europe did it”. So, how is it possible for an abstraction to act? How come some non-involved individuals who just happen to be located in a convenient site to blow up right at the time that it is convenient to blow it up pass for the abstraction “Europe”? Must be collective guilt or some form of original sin.
Yeah.
Right.

The problem with this Saker article is that he leaves unquestioned the mainstream narrative of the Brussels attack.
In particular, was this attack really an ISIS or jihadist attack that was not aided, abetted, and supported by American and European spook organizations?
To believe this is naive–or simply disingenous–in the extreme given all that has transpired with Sept. 11th, the Boston Marathon bombing, the London Tube bombing, the Paris attacks, etc.–all of which entail troubling questions about what really happened and evidence suggesting the hand of Euro-American spy agencies in perpetrating false-flag terror attacks.

Merkel is Germany’s Gorbatshov:
tasked with dismantling a functioning state.
She will be universally hated here and always be loved across the pond.
However there are too many lies flying around and this will be her (and her sponsors’) undoing.
It is the soul of the Russian people that scares the hell out of the British Empire/U.S. Empire and the EU. They all have been trying to put the Motherland down for well over a hundred years, and Russia just keeps coming back.
The collapse of the bloated Soviet Union was like a heavyweight fighter who lost his championship, because he took his opponent lightly. Didn’t train and came into the ring thirty pounds over his best fighting weight, got pummeled. Same said fighter, after a deep period of SOUL searching got rid of his greedy management team, fired his Don King promoter, when into karate instead of boxing and hit the comeback trail.
Am I sounding to romantic?? Well maybe so, but romance plays a big part in the development of a soul. Love of God, love of humankind, love of life and love of country. God speed and all good fortune Russia. God speed and all good fortune U.S.A.. We should be partners.
There is one thing Russia had, that the EU does not – a functioning proportionally representative democracy.
Its not enough that each EU state is a democracy when they are all blanket-overridden by the anti-democratic EU. The Europeans can’t collectively get together and vote out corruption. Politicians are barely constrained at the best of times by their nations’ voters; the EU allows voters to be bypassed.
Russia somehow managed to get a real democratic framework in place despite being earmarked for financialization and dismantling by Anglo-Zionism. The Russian people was discounted to the point where giving them a real democracy was thought harmless; the European model had been so successfully railroaded it was forgotten how powerful real democracy can be.
The security services were able to determine what the people really believed and wanted – which turned out to be what they wanted – and deliver it in Vladmir Putin and the United Russia Party. All attempts by the Anglo-Zionists to operate through corrupted political parties, oligarchs, and captured popular media were frustrated by their number, sheer size, and fluidity of Russia’s fresh democratic institutions and a population eager to use them.
Russia’s success was for the government to be truly representative of its people; the narrow agenda of any one faction – even the foreign-abetted comprador class, was subject to majority compromise with the national agenda felt by the majority. No voice worth hearing was left unheard, no lies, even those of the powerful anti-nationalist oligarchs, could hide in the collusion of the few.
In contrast the common cross-border interests of all Europe’s People are overridden by the common interests of their internationalized financial industrial elite. The elected EU Parliament can’t even propose legislation; it can only rubber-stamp-or-not, legislation proposed to it by the appointed European Commission, and if they don’t vote ‘correctly’, rejected legislation gets tossed back at them till they vote ‘right’. They also share the floor with the appointed European Council.
The lack of democratic accountability is Europe’s most critical weakness. Accommodating the People is no longer needed and so, no longer done. Even in the face of terrorism and migrant invasion, the needs of the financial elitists and their need to divide and conquer European common society comes first.
Good analyze, maybe my opinion contributes.
1. The 5 point plan from EU functionaries sounds different for me. Compared two e.g. last years statements of the EUSSR-politbureau there are more than moderate statements.
Translated from “diplomatic language” (which is an euphemism for every word in this text is dictated by power and retention of power) it sounds like: “We make an offer to russia (more a bid for help) with a lame point 1 prerequisite that has nothing to do with the rest but we can’t tell it direct because our puppet state.”
2. The EUSSR project is finished. It’s looses momentum and will doomed sooner or later. Like all the other brainchilds which are made out of greed, megalomania and political impotence. The USSR was the last one, o tears worth of it.
3. My deepest condolences to the victims and there love ones of the terrorist attacks. In strategic terms there are disastrous for the attackers. Killing and harm some civilians thats all. Similar to a plane crash, you get more security and better processes. After all everybody is flying again.
4. Maybe Mr. Erdogan nows about Bruxelles bombing (it’s an stereotype of power to predict something that you already know to appear prophetic – you can read this in every “politic power for dummies” book). But is he that stupid to initiate it?
4. All the immigrants have one problem. You can identify them easily by view. So they have to be calm to their hosts. The countries react to people not willing or able to assimilate like an organism. They will be thrown out or cocooned. In France the cocoon is called banlieue, over here a Problemviertel.
Most people who comment on the issue of immigration take a very broad geopolitical view. Part of the reason for this, aside from the fact that geopolitical issues are important to get right, is that most commenters have no visceral actual street experience with jihadist behavior. There are a few comments by people who have had actual run-ins with the jihadist underground, but they are unpleasant to read. The irony is that for those who have eyes to see, the actual operatives are in plane sight and easy to spot. However, for those who have no personal experience, they are deceived by a false sense of security. It is true that the _odds_ of something going wrong, like a knife attack or an abduction, are small, which is why most people do not have eyes to see.
For those who have been victims, on the other hand, the city streets have a completely different appearance. It can be likened what one sees at night wearing night vision goggles. People without the goggles will see nothing. People who have been victims develop a sixth sense, as is natural since their survival depends on that. They know that the security forces will not protect them and that if they speak of what they know, they will be scorned. So they are forced to hope and pray for their own safety and to become hypervigilant.
French cities have very elaborate and extremely efficient jihadist networks. Once they settle on a victim, they study that person exhaustively and up close. They track the victim and are able to have somebody on the spot in an instant. The victim can easily tell when he is being watched as he moves from place to place. The pursuers are in constant contact with the network and they relay information to the network as the victim is tracked by different operatives. They don’t mind that they are recognized by the victim, because they know the authorities will do nothing.
One thing that is overlooked is that the network employs local petty criminals. These are down-and-out types-life’s failures-who are eager to earn a few euros. All people working for the network are on hairtrigger alert and ready to act the instant they receive a call.
Make no mistake, these networks are extremely efficient and run with military precision. Each operative has virtually no knowledge of the broader comtext of his actions. All operations, which imclude electronic surveillance of the victim’s wireless phone calls, etc are coordinated. The street level operatives are a truly diverse bunch. They can be highly educated types with engineering degrees (eg, for electronic surveillance), shop managers who spot victims walking past their stores, etc. What is breathtaking is how all of these operatives, in playing their assigned roles, each one totally ignorant of the others, behave as some giant organism that responds to each tiny vascillation in the environment.
Having infiltrated telecom companies and all sorts of commercial and public entities, they are able to track their victims even when they travel to different countries. So there is literally no escape if you are a designated target. Psychologically you must be very strong, because noone is capable of understanding your situation unless they have had a similar experience. It will be interesting to see if knowledge of this coelesces as victimisation of ignorant Europeans spreads.
One of the few writers to get things right regarding the secretiveness and ruthless efficiency of this network is Samuel Laurent, who was actually able to share life with jihadists in Libia and Syria and was even able to speak with highly placed jihadists who did have an overall view of operations. They were willing to work with him under very stringent conditions, because they actually want the threat they represent to be known. Laurent’s book “Al Qaida en France” is a must read (which also deserves to be translated into English) as well as being a gripping narrative. Particularily interesting was his highly managed visit to an Al Qaida arms dump. They had the latest hightech Russian rockets, and a mindnumbing collection of other armaments such as semtex, whose total value at that one location was $30,000,000. Unfortunately, Laurent was betrayed by someone and is now under 24 hour police protection like Geert Wilders. The ultimate goal is to impose Sharia law in France, and they will bring France to its knees if they have to.
As they say about the devil, that his greatest wish is that people do not believe in him, these jihadist networks thrive on the skepticism of the ignorant.
@Jeremy – Thank you for your interesting post. I understand that American and British operatives were involved in military, propaganda, and computer training of jihadists in camps in Jordan and Turkey; but it seems that these jihadists quickly developed their own agenda and instead of remaining NATOist incubi they have gone freelance, as it were, inside Europe. I have no personal or street experience with jihadists. My question is this: does Samuel Laurent (or can you) explain why the French State refuses to take effective action? – Gunnar
