by Ghassan Kadi for the Saker blog
Ironically, the first three words of my first article regarding the “War on Syria” were 1) Bandar, 2) Bin, 3) Sultan. http://intibahwakeup.blogspot.com.au/2013/09/the-anti-syrian-cocktail-by-ghassan-kadi.html
Back in June 2011 when that article was written, Bandar Bin Sultan was clearly the head of the serpent and the architect of all attacks that were plotted and conjured up to destabilize Syria and turn her from the pivotal state of the axis of resistance to one that would kowtow to the so-called American-Israeli roadmap, but in reality, it is an American-Israeli-Saudi roadmap.
Even though Bandar’s wings have been clipped after the death of his then Crown Prince father and his failure in Syria, Bandar remains a potentially very powerful figure in Saudi Arabia. Potentially, because right now, he has been demoted to nothing, but should Mohamed Bin Salman (MBS) take a tumble, what is left of the Saudi Royal family will have to decide who would be king. In such an event, the name of Bandar would definitely surface again. This was a possible scenario even before MBS took his gamble and imprisoned his cousins.
At 68 years of age, Bandar is down but not out, but for the wheel of fortune to turn his way again, he needs a miracle, and the fall of MBS could well be that miracle that Bandar hopes for.
Even if MBS now extorts all of the fortunes out of his detained cousins under the charge of corruption, the moment they get released, they will start planning how to topple him. And as they do, candidates will be proposed to replace him, and Bandar will undoubtedly top that list among a few others.
Furthermore, how can MBS trust army commanders and others who are now loyal to him? How can he guarantee that they won’t do the dirty on him and support the other royals when and if released in a royal family led coup against him?
In fact, with the many wives and children Saudi kings and princes have, the number of descendants of the founding King Abdul Aziz has swollen to over 10,000 in less than a century. With a male prince count of 5,000 or so, this is not only a messy situation that makes succession a nightmare, but a very expensive one as well given that they all receive very generous stipends, despite all the recent cuts and austerity measures that MBS has imposed on them.
MBS sees them as a liability, and he wants them to give back what they embezzled. But in reality, after he has achieved this, what can he do with them in a manner that will not backfire in his face?
Up until recently, the royal family members have split the spoils, and whilst some royals were ministers for example, others were chiefs of police, the royal guards, and less senior ones were kept happy and quiet by giving them powerful financial positions and appointing them as CEO’s. But MBS has put an end to this, and he has put all branches of the armed forces under his own personal command and even made himself the CEO of Aramco, the world’s richest oil company with assets estimated at USD 2 Tn.
It would be foolish to think that the aspiring and power-hungry MBS is not taking all contingencies seriously now, and given what he has thus far done already, there is no return for him. If anything, by taking his cousins as prisoners, giving “put it on the Ritz” a whole new meaning, his only way to end this saga in a manner that guarantees his continuity, even survival, is by totally disempowering his prisoners, and even to possibly assassinate them. With the killing of Abdul Aziz Bin Fahd whilst resisting arrest, and he is the son of a former king, as well as the alleged deliberate shooting down of a helicopter with a prince on board trying to escape, MBS has already demonstrated that royal blood can be forfeit.
Perhaps MBS is receiving his inspiration from the Albanian born Ottoman Mohamed Ali, who was Egypt’s Wali (governor) and how he rose to power in the late 18th Century. He invited all of his rivals to a conference, a whole three hundred of them, and had them all executed.
It has been reported that Bandar is included in the list of princes under arrest. Seemingly, he is being investigated on bribery charges over a weapons deal with the UK, but the underlying reason for imprisoning Bandar, if he is indeed in custody, would be his potential political danger to MBS.
As the events are developing very quickly, it is not clear as yet who are the key princes that MBS was not able to round up for the simple reason of being outside Saudi Arabia when the purge was effected. Though it is highly unlikely that there are many key royals who escaped the purge by being overseas, their “danger” to MBS, whoever they are, cannot be ignored.
Different reports vary in terms of revealing the exact number and names of princes and top notch businessmen under arrest. Initially, the total number of all detained was said to be 208, but informal reports are now saying that the real figure is much higher. Nothing has been reported about the Al-Rajhi family. The Al-Rajhis are bankers, they are the Rothschilds of Saudi Arabia with close ties to the royals and with some intermarriages. Are their key people arrested, at large, living in hiding or overseas? Or are they simply considered loyal MBS troops because of their Sudairy family link that is close to King Salman?
And if MBS counts on powerbrokers like the Al-Rajhis, he will need many others like them from the outside of the House of Saud, because any Al-Saud descendent can have a claim on the throne; one way of the other.
And what about the clerics? MBS made it clear that he wants to modernize Saudi Arabia and dismantle the Shariah Police among other things, but he is avoiding a confrontation with the clerics as some of them are very powerful and command huge popular support. He is trying to gain popularity from within the disgruntled Saudi youth who are sick and tired of the waste and lavish lifestyle of the royals, especially in tough economic times, and attacking the clerics will not help achieve this target. He much prefers to see them turn to be on his side, but he is using his treatment of his own cousins as a pretext to send a very powerful message to any cleric who wants to stand in his way.
If MBS intends to maintain the royal status quo of all the existing princes, in reality he will be leaving himself with the only choice of having to execute them all, and if he doesn’t, he will forever need to look over his shoulder and guard his back. His other option would be to strip them all from their royal status, push the reset button on the Al-Saud legacy, thereby starting a new bloodline based on himself and his offspring. To clinch this turnaround, he will need to ask his father King Salman to abdicate, thereby blocking even his own brothers, and ending any speculations about the bloodline.
Yes,in a society built on blood ties alone. When you mess with the power structure of that system you invite inner fighting and even civil war. He very well may end by killing those arrested. But then I won’t be surprised to hear that an assassin revenges them relatively soon. This could be a play set in the middle ages,it has that feel to it.Or even further back to the Roman Empire days.A real “Game of Thrones” brought to life before our eyes. Just think of the fun a modern day Shakespeare would have writing this story,a new Hamlet,Macbeth,or Richard III.They say sometimes “truth is stranger than fiction”.We see a case of that right now in Saudi Arabia.
Back when Trump visited, the Saudi security forces were attacking a Shiite town to put down a revolt of sorts. There’s always a very real chance that when the princes start fighting against each other that they forget that they were always a minority that had siezed power.
Another thought was that since MBS, Trump and Israel all seem to be heading towards a war with Iran, then having the Saudis fall into infighting against each other might just be what the world needs to avoid a war that might spiral out of control. For a long time people have thought that the war that destroys us all would being in the Middle East. I’d presume that MBS was trying to get a firm grip on power before such a war, or possibly counting on war with Iran to pull the country back together after he upsets everyone in this way. Maybe the world gets saved from an awful war because his move instead starts fighting inside Saudi Arabia.
I know if I’m a Saudi prince right now, I’m asking when does MBS come after me? And probably trying to make sure MBS is gone before that happens.
There are a number of analogs in the history of Ottoman succession or for that matter in the affairs of Byzantium (which brought about the weakening of Byzantium which led to their final collapse.
#576 Hafez of Shiraz comments on the situation from another realm interfacing with ours
“two lone travelers, perplexed, a friendless pair…
wild beasts, whispered curses lurk here and there.
Come, so of each other’s condition we can inquire;
if we can , we will seek what the both of us desire.
For I can see that in this desert is only confusion,
having no oasis of joy, no happy green profusion.
“All along the watchtower
Princes kept their view
While all the women came and went
their foot servants too
Outside in the cold distance
A wildcat did prowl
Two riders in the distance
And the Wind began to Howl.”
Bob Dylan, during the Vietnam War
How do you keep an idiot in suspense? I’ll tell you later!
Gossip and celeb worship is the fascination of the small-mined. Not for nothing did Orwell, in 1984, say that tabloid ‘journalism’ was to keep the plebs in their place.
The bottom-up dribble about the KSA palace coup is exactly the definition of tabloid journalism. Just as the really stupid think they learn something by reading about a royal’s ‘love life’, so fools fascinate on intricate details of a coup. The big picture is ***boring** to such fools cos the big picture is ***gossip free***.
Here’s the big picture about KSA, folks- sorry if the facts seem boring.
1) KSA was created, with a great deal of effort, by the USA and UK. It is an asset of both, and no-one doesn anything important there without the say-so of the Empire powers.
2) the ‘flavour’ of KSA is the jewish cult known as wahhabism. Islam comes out of judaism, as we know, and worships the same god as the jews. Both practice male genital mutilation, but interestingly the wahhabis also have a similar ritual for their girl children, which has ***nothing*** to do with the highly abusive FGM of Africa. Whereas common islam also borrows from christianity, and reveres Jesus as a figure only second to the Prophet, and equal to Moses- wahhabism does not- being a pure jewish cult (the jews consider Jesus to be the greatest criminal in jewish history).
3) KSA has only recently, since the rise of Arch Demon Tony Blair, been repositioned as a mechanism to take control of greater islam. Under Blair’s rule, wahhabism was been weaponised and aimed at most nations with a mostly islamic culture. Wahhabism has also taken control of almost all major mosques in the West, especially those in the UK, USA, France and Germany.
4) Across the reign of Blair, the Saudi rulers came to see KSA as the ‘Rome’ of the islamic world, and thusly do not like the idea of ‘Rome’ being sacrificed for greater Deep State goals. Yes they know they work for the Deep State, but even so do not wish to become ‘turkeys voting for xmas’.
5) So the strongmen the DS placed into power in KSA are now a problem. They don’t want any war that will also see KSA destroyed. This is a common Empire problem, when their puppets suddenly feel the noose tighteneing around their neck. The answer- a palace coup, where new puppets without this issue are given power in their stead.
The names and backgrounds of these KSA players are of literal ***zero*** interest to a thinker. It is 100% certain the Deep State can find a suitable frontman who’ll sacrifice the future of KSA for his master’s desires. And it is 100% certain this new strongman can coerce enough of the current elite to see the DS wishes can be reconciled with their own on an “our way or you lose everything” argument.
KSA elite have assets and riches safely abroad- even in Russia (which never gets talked about enough). Yes many of the KSA elite are loyalists who’d prefer their nation stay in one piece, and their people continue to stay alive. And these elite ***like*** spending most of their lives in KSA. But when forced to look skywward to that massive Deep State fist, well most of the elite will shrug and say “it was good while it lasted- time to plan to get out”.
So the Deep State places perfect goons (whose names I couldn’t care less about” into absolute power in KSA. And these goons then do a mad thing like kidnap the ruler of another nation (lebanon) and force him to ‘resign’ with a prepared statement bashing Iran. That’s the easy part.
Sadly Israel, the partner state of KSA, is more of a problem. The jewish butchers who run Israel are less cowardly and far more mad. They truly think themselves ‘god’s chosen’- elevated by talmudic teaching as pure tyrants and despots above all laws and morals of Man. Yes zionists love nothing better than cheating non-jews. They love mass murdering non-jews even more- but not to the point where the ‘goyim slave class’ is unable to continue serving the jews effectively.
Openly partnering KSA and Israel to holocaust Lebanon is a plan fraught with fundamental issues. You see the jews will think the wahhabis should do the dirty work, and the wahhabis will think that’s the jews’ job. And they can hardly ‘fly’ together (which is a joke since whether Saudi planes, or Israeli planes- the planes attacking Lebanon will be in reality almost entirely those of Western powers with western pilots).
The Deep State really just “presses the witness”- in other words keeps laying on the stones until something gives. Squeezes out an act via extreme pressure that begins the war one way or another.
But as the Deep State squeezes, a lot of players watch and manoeuver back, trying to counter possible pro-war moves.
Here’s what’s currently on the table.
-an ‘Iranian’ missile that just happens to launch from Lebanon into Israel. Iran, helbollah and lebanese christians expect this sad ploy, so ensure jewish and british agents are unable to arrange it.
-some kind of assassination. Another sad ploy that is literally ‘out of time’ cos things don’t work that way any more.
-a ‘rogue’ Saudi bomber pilot who launches his own attack on Lebanon, lighting the fuse. This is far more likely as the Deep State have been experimenting with this tactic for many years- and its greatest version yet was seen in the failed Turkish ‘coup’.
-a 911 quality false flag. Since Tony Blair’s 911 false flag of 2001, the Deep State has feared going there again. There are downsides to even more modest false flags that most people here do not realise.
-KSA’s current puppet rulers finally go full blown ***psycho serial killer*** and do anything to start the war. This is now the most likely, even though the majority of demons hate using this method too soon- prefering to save it for the ‘big one’.
Do you care about the names of the goons who rule over the remains of Libya? Or Iraq? So why should you care about the names of the goons who rule over what will be the ruins of KSA? But by falling for the tabloid distractions of the plebs (as Orwell described in 1984), and indulging in a pointless taste for celeb gossip, you sadly make the Deep State demons’ job far easier.
In perfect Game Theory, Trumpy has been telling Putin exactly what he wants to hear in Vietnam. Russia gives the Deep State no cause for concern at all re: their games in the Middle East. Syria has distracted Putin to quite an astonishing degree. Lebanon dangles by a thread but Russia (sadly) has nothing to do with whether that thread is cut.
just as a side note to the role of jesus :
there is a theory out there which says that christianity and the jesus figure was a roman invention to divide the jewish movement which caused serious trouble to the empire in palestine at that time….
Jesus was genuine, however he was admonishing the Jews for straying from their original true Mosaic beliefs into the corrupt system they had adopted that empowered the priesthood. Somewhat as had Buddha done with the Hindus. He was indeed hated by the priesthood and had revealed information that was not supposed to be released to the masses, listen to his actual spoken words. The Catholic religion that followed was certainly not Jesus’ idea, in fact the irony being that another corrupt system actually was built upon him.
great comment Rancid – you have picked a weird name for yourself though ? Ah well, still a great comment –

Somewhat as had Buddha done with the Hindus……The Catholic religion that followed was certainly not Jesus’ idea, in fact the irony being that another corrupt system actually was built upon him.
By above you mean Christianity or you are just signalling out the Catholic religion?
Above you have identified Judaism, Christianity and Hinduism, do you think that Islam was an exception?
Or, do you consider Islam to be hijacked too?
Where can I listen to actual spoken words of Jesus?
What a fanciful tale you weave!
The names and backgrounds of the disposed are not important!?
Au contraire, they are the most important pieces of information of all.
Despite your depiction of the US/UK/Deep State as an homogeneous all powerful beast, steadfastly employing a unified masterplan as if all members are part of one large hive mind, there are factions and families involved – factions and families who have certain Saudi Princes and quislings under their control, and not others.
Your invocation of Orwell is quite ironic, and smacks of the liberal/marxist resurgence of hypocrisy and diversion… only a small minded celebrity hounds would look closely at the links being revealed?
No, only someone who is trying to smokescreen the true implications of which families and factions are being hit would present an argument like that.
Disinformation, denigration, disguise, deception and doubt.
Maybe you should read 1984 again… and you should probably stop using COINTELPRO textbooks verbatim – the implementation of their methods is easy to spot nowadays.
The “repositioning” of Saudi Arabia did not begin under Tony Blair but in the context of opposing the 1979 anti-imperialist revolution of the Iranian people in which Jimmy Carter was in the forefront with his “Carter Doctrine” and the creation of Centcom. This instigation of Iraq to launch war against Iran and massive arms exports to Saudi Arabia from the US, Germany and even Canada follows.
Tony Seed on November 11, 2017 · at 4:58 pm UTC
Very true about Jimmy Carter. People tend to give him a pass as being very moral person due to his religious belief. Before Carter Afghanistan was a secular country with higher education institutes. It is Jimmy Carter who turned it into rat hole it is now…..
substitute ‘deep state’ with ‘ global jewish Talmudic khazar threat ‘ .
I have been watching the moves of these sowers of discord among man on earth since I was 15 yrs old.
since these said khazars adopted Talmudic Judaism ( not the Judiasm of the Quran or Gospels btw, but a new highly toxic strain, based on supremecy , domination or annihilation)
The descendants of the folks who rule and have complete power and influence over the west, and essentially the ‘white world’, were phallus worshippers, pedophiles, bandits (see Palestine today), ritual murderers, sexual deviants(see the promotion of homosexuality in the ‘white world’- minus the Eastern Orthodox , who still have morals and principles. these khazars fought all their neighbors incessantly, always war mongering and all kinds of barbarism. once they got a hold of and adopted the nefarious and outright blasphemy called the Talmud, the gloves came off. this happened overnight, and is the single most ominous event to threaten the world and the future of the human race.
moderate, mainstream islam, no matter sunni or shia, since their really is no difference according to the average joe in cairo or Tehran. this mainline of muslims will, as it has started already with Russia closeness to iran, Syria and Hezbollah, come ever so closer to their natural allies, the Slavic orthodox ‘russ’. together, these two two faiths, and their assortment of peoples will take on these khazars and their puppets.
the u.s. is already showing signs of serious wear and tear and signs its military and society in general is fed up with incompetency in finance and mismanagement of government. the u.s. military cant overcome a bunch of guys in bedsheets and flip-flops armed with ak-47’s and ied’s for 17 years now, and Iraq was a rout, only to be extracted with the ‘surge’ which was nothing more than the u.s. flying in billions of dollars to pay off the sunni tribes to quit fighting. the sunni triangle alone bogged down 14 of the total 16 battalions of the u.s. army.
and these fake jews think they can take on iran? or Russia? or the two as friends and allies? its not going to happen.
Throw in china into the mix and you have a a dire position these said khazars/jews are/will find themselves in. they speak in the language of annihilation, and surely the wise Persians, slavs and Chinese , all ancient societies by any standard, know this very clearly.
so what we see today, is battle lines are being drawn, and a new period is upon us of a muti=polar world, with distinct civilizational models.
the jews are bluffing, their hand is weak. ksa stability or not is irrelevant.
btw, the old testament is not the Judaism associated with Islam. that Judaism is long gone.
Interesting how twilight pops up on every thread with a font of “wisdom”.
Brilliant analysis, Twilight, much gratitude for your input.
I agree 100% that it is a waste of time obsessing about MBS’s personhood: he is merely the Deep state (DS)’s tool. Was chosen precisely because he is a tool. Were MBS otherwise, he wouldn’t have been allowed to bring about the changes he made thus far to KSA. The DS must have calculated that the now-confined Saudi royals were somehow a messy impediment to their impatient plan to turn the number 1 purchaser of US weapons, KSA, into a beastly juggernaut unleashed against the perceived enemies of Zion, even if it means destroying that juggernaut in the process.
MBS’s KSA is meant to be Zion’s golem-like suicide bomber against any nation in the ME that refuses to be enslaved.
“2) the ‘flavour’ of KSA is the jewish cult known as wahhabism. Islam comes out of judaism, as we know, and worships the same god as the jews. Both practice male genital mutilation, but interestingly the wahhabis also have a similar ritual for their girl children, which has ***nothing*** to do with the highly abusive FGM of Africa. ”
—
a) The difference being that, whereas Jews mutilate the genitals of the 8-day old male child (and allegedly drink the blood for apparent tribal psychic lock-in) — no doubt contributing to a deep psychological castration complex in life (a form of matrilineal control?), the Muslim approach is to perform the ritual as a voluntary conscious act in early puberty as part of the initiation process into adulthood. It is not unique. There is a circumcision line running across the western 1/3 of Australia separating the desert and non-desert Aboriginal tribes (the former being circumcised, the latter in southern temperate climates no so). This suggests a climate/health factor at play and try 20-50k years of habitation before European intervention in the 1800’s. 5k years of Jewish history is hardly a small chapter in the larger book. And how did those kangaroos get on and off the ME ‘Ark’ and all the way back home before/after the flood? (sigh)
b) “wahhabis also have a similar ritual for their girl children…” — one does not need to go to Africa to find the abhorrent practice of FGM ‘declitorisation’, Wahhabi supported Malaysia is into it and there is no impediment for Australian ‘Muslims’ to trip up there with their kids and get it done. Care should be taken to differentiate between cosmetic surgery to accommodate pre-Islamic tribal customs (sometimes a requirement to find suitable partners in arranged marriages etc) and removing the capacity to enjoy sex which is not supported in any way whatsoever. Neither are considered part of Islam (and especially the latter).
c) “Islam comes out of judaism…” — it is more accurate to rephrase this as Islam considers itself as the last ‘reformation’ of a long line of truth-based revelation that eventually becomes corrupted by power elites etc. Many prophets are considered to have existed and informed their societies. However, yes, in the Middle East the general line of transmission is considered to go back through (authentic) Christianity and Judaism to the Iraqi Ibrahim/Abraham character who caused no end of inter-generational troubles for his father and tribe by destroying their idol-worship based practices before being booted out.
And the definition of “authentic” here is somewhat circular in that is what conforms (and confirms) Islamic practice etc. Again, finding ‘authentic’ Islam today can be challenging — the high Islamic cultures that gave the backward Europeans their maths and sciences and library links back to ancient Greece after the dark ages of Catholic domination (e.g., the Moors) suffered greatly from Mogul, Spanish, British and now American empires. It’s there for those who wish to seek, but don’t expect to find it showing on CNN between the adverts for pork and booze etc.
Great analysis, Twilight, so interesting.
Just one point that might bear some importance: aside the DS’ geopolitical agenda, MBS might also be genuinely trying to ease KSA’s current economic woes by retrieving embezzled money.
The fact is KSA cannot survive as a state with oil remaining at is current price.
Does this include giving back his own family’s looted treasure?
Keep this stuff coming, Twilight. I find it very compelling reading. Ignore your detractors. The future may well prove that you are correct.
What a compelling thought, Ghassan Kadi. Presumably this is how royal lines change, and this all accords with international law? Fascinating.
If MBS were to disennoble all the thousands of royals, presumably all their privilege and entitlement would dissolve also? They would have to earn they way back to income through loyalty to the new dynasty.
And surely this would change the position of the Saudi economy also?
What a brilliant possibility to marvel at.
Thank you Grieved for your comments and very nice comments in the past. I particularly thank you for brining the word “disennoble” to my attention. It is quite useful, and I think that if MBS remains steadfast on his path, I may have to use it sooner that I think.
However, I don’t see any “brilliant” possibilities literally speaking. I am certain you agree that whichever way MBS goes from here, there will be mayhem, and in as much I don’t wish mayhem upon any nation, but the Saudis have been playing with fire for a long time, and they are beginning to feel the heat.
I said it before and I’ll say it again; MBS is a fool who is way in over his head, and the House of Saud will fall with him.
Thd Lebanese for their part, need to rewrite their constitution to block those hold dual-citizenship from occupying sensitive positions in the country.
The hypocrisy of the MSM stinks to the heaven, can you imagine the international reaction if Saad Hariri hsd been summoned to Tehran and subsequently forced to resign from a foreign capital?
Saudi Arabia and MBS and all those who are misguided enough to support them are destined for defeat snd humiliation.
Selah
So far, very little that MBS has started has worked out well for him. Yemen, nope. Qata, nope. In Syria, only a year or so ago he was doubling down on Bandar’s plans, telling his pet jihadists not to go to Astana and not to negotiate. Didn’t turn out so well either.
Never know, maybe he’s finally gotten something right? But his track record so far argues against it.
I presume that after his other mistakes, there were forces in the royal family who were starting to move against him and the senile old king. And that all of this is MBS’ response. One thing for certain, he seems to have put himself in a position that it either works and he becomes King, or he dies. Since he’s started shedding royal blood, those would seem to be the only alternatives.
What happens if at the end of the KSA civil war the clerics take over and Daesh ends up ruling over the worlds largest oil deposits.
They showed in Syria that they’ll be happy to sell the oil.
Daesh already runs KSA, they just weren’t able to run Syria…
“…giving ‘put it on the Ritz’ a whole new meaning,…”
Check the insurance policy and safety systems: — once all the royal ‘inmates’ are checked in they’ll never be able to leave, and a good old ‘oooops’ hotel bonfire would have them checking out permanently.
Welcome to the Hotel California
“Mirrors on the ceiling, and pink champagne on ice,
And she said “We are all just prisoners here,
Of our own device.”
And in the master’s chambers, they gathered for the feast,
They stab it with their steely knives, but they just can’t kill the beast.
Last thing I remember, I was running for the door,
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before.
“Relax”, said the nightman, “We are programed to receive.”
You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.”
There’s a lot of noise at present about KSA attacking Lebanon etc — either by disguised Israeli proxy or directly via Egyptian air corridor.
While these are all plausible scenarios there is, in addition to just simply smoke screening for domestic KSA distraction, the deeper consideration that the next ME ‘reset’ phase is actually aimed at a higher level regional agenda — aka, a new Arab focus on the apartheid Zionist regime occupying Palestine.
Nut-an-yahoo and the AshkeNazi gang are rightly concerned with turn of events — becoming the new focus of a new regional resurgence of Arab/Persian/Turk unity to finally ‘pivot’ out the European/American (AngloZionist) infidels is not a good strategy. Global sympathies for WW2 Jews and post-financial crisis Banksters et al are at market bottom. All this provocation using Lebanon as ‘bait’ could equally turn on a needle and become a push back to (at least) 1967 UN recognized borders. Once the facade of Israeli ‘exceptional untouchability’ is cracked then its likely ‘game on’ in several directions.
More than likely this little KSA/ME drama will hold for a few news cycles — but if the match lights the Lebanese fuse then at the very least the Golan Heights and various Farms etc will soon be Syrian/Lebanese again.
I suspect there is a very complex plot agreed to here by the major players — and one deep ‘Trump’ subplot runs right down the KSA rabbit holes all the way to the ‘nice’ Clintons in DC.
There are so many potential ‘win-wins…’ (and risks) in all this mess that one is reminded of the Chinese wēijī (wei-chi): “danger” & “crucial point” [wēi (危) roughly means “danger, dangerous; endanger, jeopardize; perilous; precipitous, precarious; high; fear, afraid“. wēijī suggests “crucial point”. jī (机) does not necessarily mean “opportunity.“ jīhuì (机会) is closer to “opportunity” (Wikipedia)]
Two things we know for certain:
1) The Princes are prancing (including France’s Macron); and
2) Nobody is sprouting the KSA funded “Assad Must Go” mantra (curse) these days — they’ve mostly all gone.
Assad must ‘go’, alright, … ‘go on’ all the way to liberate all of Syria and establish a new 21st century pan-Arab initiative with Egypt, Turkey and Iran to bring perspective back to the ME complex.
If he plays his card right Assad could go down as a new Nasser, Qaddafi or any number of historic regional leaders. And that is why the thick-necked non-Sephardi ‘Russian’ (Ukrainian) Jews currently terrorizing the Palestinians (and Yemen) are likely in for a big shock down the track. Don’t lose that other 2nd passports, folks, exit stage-left is just one Intifada away.
yes pass the pop corn indeed,”who must go”?..it just blows my mind how this,”barrel bombing massacre of own people” still standing given billions of weapons gifted to ”moderate head choppers” by nato, gcc, neocon and team chaos to spread,”freedom democracy and equality” in his country!
just a dream….
setting…pearly gates..god says,’ who is next’..
the honourable Bush…sir says peter.
god says,” you bombed many in iraq give me a reason why i should not send you to everlasting hell”?
Bush..”oh dear lord evil saddam was planning for a currency based on gold..you see with all respect to you in our currency it is printed .IN GOD WE TRUST..surly we are not going to let this bleshmy pass”!
god..”dang i did not think of that ok pass”
^^^ Cute, it just made my day….. :)
thanks Ghassan, good article that explains alot to me.
Time to send back these Nadji devils back to their nomadic lifestyle (not an insult to the Bedouins).
My thought is still the same. MBS and Salman has no real political power in the KSA palace and courts and Salman designation of MBS to succeeded his throne can’t happen in normal state of things. MBS is in serious delusion if he thought that he can keep the political opposition by locking them down with common enemy ‘Iran’ or Shiite muslims and getting direct support from US/Israel by playing the obedient dogs. The rest of their military personnel and high official are filled with people that has little loyalty to his political base and he expected he can just rule with terror. He is wrong. The moment the front (Iran Lebanon or Yemen) is collapsed i expect he reap what he sow.
The only politician Trump respects and admires is Putin. Herein lies the problem. Unable to compete with Putin’s god-given talents on a level playing field, Trump has convinced himself, that the time has come to try a trick or two to outshine the impeccable one.
While Trump’s over-acted, sudden enthusiasm for China is a forgettable part of this ruse, MBS’ surprise palace coup in Riyadh is a key component.
Kushner probably managed to convince Trump that buddy MBS could support their cause, the battle against their eternal enemies – the Clintonistas, Bolsheviks, Globalists – even better once he was king…
Netanyahu had no problem with this deal, as long MBS would provide some assistance in alleviating his never-ending nightmare – Hezbollah!
And thus it happened. A swift, well planed palace coup, backed by Israel and the US, left MBS’ unlucky cousins and cousin’s cousins not much room to manoeuvre, let alone, to fight back.
Zion simply can’t allow Russia to build the oil & gas consortium that it has almost finished building – a petrodollar crash would bust the US corporation.
By making himself the protector of the petrodollar, Trump is reasoning, he can not only keep the Clintonistas in check, but maybe even get himself in front position for some heavenly rewards. The competition is tough, though – elbowing his way past MBS, Kushner and Netanyahu won’t be easy…
In a way it makes sense for MBS. KSA economy can no longer sustain several thousand princes living as billionaires or mega millionaires. So they have to be gotten rid of.
Except for himself, of course. MBS remains a billionaire. KSA had enough money left for one.
An awesome article by Alexander Mercouis on MSB’s coup is out at The Duran. Here are only a couple of the parts:
From Alistair Cooke
“It is always tempting. The Syrian war is coming to an end, and the losses to those who bet on the losing side – suddenly in the glare of the end-game – become an acute and public embarrassment. The temptation is to brush the losses aside and with a show of bravado make one last bet: the masculine “hero” risks his home and its contents on a last spin of the wheel. Those in attendance stand in awed silence, awaiting the wheel to slow, and to trickle the ball forward, slot by slot, and to observe where it comes to rest, be it on black, or on the blood-red of tragedy.
Not only in romances, but in life, too. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MbS) has wagered all on black, with his “friends” – President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed (MbZ) and Trump himself daring MbS on. Trump, in his business life, once or twice has staked his future on the spin of the wheel. He too has gambled and admits to the exhilaration.
And in the shadows, at the back of the gaming room, stands Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. The idea of going to the casino was his, in the first place. If the hero lands on black, he will share in the joy, but if it is red … never mind: Bibi’s home is not forfeit.
Let us be clear, MbS is severing all the various fetters that hold the Saudi kingdom together and intact. Saudi Arabia is not just a family business: it is also a confederation of tribes. Their diverse interests were attended to, primordially, through the composition of the National Guard, and its patronage. The latter henceforth reflects, no longer, the kingdom’s diverse tribal affiliations, but the security interests of one man, who has seized it for himself.
Ditto for the various cadet branches of the al-Saud family: the carefully judged sharing out of spoils amongst the many family claimants is finished. One man is clearing the table of everybody’s smaller stakes. He has snapped the wires connecting the Court to the Saudi business élite – and is slowly slicing away the Wahhabi religious establishment, too. They have been effectively kicked out of the partnership, which they founded jointly with ibn Saud, the first monarch of Saudi Arabia who ruled during the first half of the last century, also known as King Abdul Aziz. In short, no one has a stake left in this enterprise, but MbS – and no one it seems, has rights, or redress.
Why? Because MbS sees the Saudi political and religious leadership of the Arab world slipping, like sand, through the king’s fingers, and he cannot bear the thought that Iran (and the despised Shi’a), could be the inheritor.”
And
“Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s peculiar genius is to accelerate the now inevitable collapse, so that it will all happen far more quickly than it otherwise would have done, and at supersonic speed.
Patrick Cockburn, that most insightful of commentators on Middle East affairs, has compared the cost and extravagance of Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s reception of President Trump to the similarly empty and inflated pomp of the Shah of Iran’s Persepolis Party of 1971.
That event together with the Shah’s runaway spending on a manic and unsustainable industrialisation programme eerily similar to the one now planned by Prince Mohammed bin Salman led eventually to the 1979 Iranian Revolution and the fall of the Iranian monarchy. If the same thing happens in Saudi Arabia the results will be far more bloody.”

“And in the shadows, at the back of the gaming room, stands Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu.” — indeed, but ‘trembling’ may be a more apt description. He’s not off the hook, personally, or nationally.
The time cycle has been waiting for some time for the next “Arab Embargo” shock reset (c. 1973) [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_oil_crisis]. The Futurist (and economist), Pierre Wack, with historic links to the Gurdjieff way of thinking, ‘predicted’ the oil crisis scenario (well, he’d been working on it since the late 1960s) and help lift his employer (Royal Dutch Shell) from 7th to 2nd ranking (from memory) in global oil business value. This success in ‘prediction’ led to much ado about scenario planning for a time, although little was said of Wack’s tendency to ‘disappear’ on meditation trips to the heartlands of … you guessed it, Saudi Arabia. Nothing like a good short and the slip of the tongue in a Bedouin tent to ‘make’ things happen — aka the most predictable future is the one you cause to happen. If the plate has to break you may as well try to guide the cracks to your advantage.
The reset is on again, it’s a mechanical thing, only this time the Moscow-Beijing-Tehran political economic triangle may just be resilient enough to cause unpredictable outcomes for the usual suspects. Hence the focus on Putin and Russia: it is likely not personal, it is rather that a drunken Yeltsin model is far more convenient than a Czar Putin model for the usual suspects and their 0.001% overlords. “Assad Must Go” is a desperate attempt to navigate the complex narratives — it translates basically as “Russia Must Fail” (for us to win).
Keep on going, Assad, … all the way to Bibi’s tent in the Golan Heights, and then onto the 1967 borders. (probability: 0.7)

Art of the Deal: Behind Saudi-Lebanon Crisis is Trump’s Middle East ‘Peace Project’
http://21stcenturywire.com/2017/11/13/art-deal-behind-saudi-lebanon-crisis-trumps-middle-east-peace-project/
“Some analysts have been speculating that maybe Israel is the invisible hand pushing the oil Kingdom to do its bidding in the region as they both share a common enemy in Iran.
While the liberal Israeli press may be taking a stand-offish position in relation to recent events, you can be certain that Israel is very much involved in this process, albeit working diligently behind the scenes through an Israeli-friendly White House in Washington, and Netanyahu and Trump’s shared personal assistant, wunderkind Jared Kushner. Indeed, it’s through Kushner that we can track the real agenda which is in motion right now, as these latest events between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon are directly linked to Donald Trump’s big-ticket item – the Israel-Palestine “Two State Solution” peace deal – which he had promised on the campaign trail. It’s happening as we speak.
There it is. The Art of the Deal, and it’s not going to be Camp David style this time. It will be a transactional deal – to be fronted in part by Egypt, with Syria left out, and most certainly with large strings attached for Lebanon, likely designed to first isolate Hezbollah and then used to try and evict Iranian influence from the region. You can be sure of one thing though – if this ‘deal’ is being drafted by the US and Israel then you can be certain that it will not be well-thought out, and it will surely discount the interests of Syria, and the Shia majorities in Lebanon, and in Iraq too. This will be drafted as another neocolonial sectarian project.
And what about the Palestinians? It’s also a safe bet that any ‘deal’ drafted by the US and Israel will not be a very good deal for the Palestinians – who will be the last party considered in all of this high-flying talk of ‘peace and stability’ in the region. Will they get the right of return? Will their current situation really improve from such a deal? Looking at Israel and the US track record of running the ‘peace process’ in this part of the world, I’d say it’s highly doubtful.”
The hands of israel manipulating their puppet trump regime who in turn manipulate their juniors in saudi arabia. Goal: destabilize Lebanon and isolate Iran.
Whatever the reasons for the greedy purge, Saudi is in crises. The expats that supported the place have been kicked out and modernisation contracts that Saudi’s are going to need are cancelled or delayed. Such is the dilemma now facing English Teaching contracts amongst others. Theres loads of valuable education professionals on these programs that are still awaiting progress and signing of contracts that have been delayed and there’s students that have had there studies cancelled, whether this is temporary or permanent. Worthwhile developmental projects like these are hindered and development of Saudi students is hampered and its obvious when you see Saudis doing just basic work in replacement of expelled expats, that there are obvious issues of absence, laziness, lack of social and English Language skills, working at snails pace, etc.
Saudi is supposed to be on the up, but given the purge and this information, it seems that it’s more on a downer and Saudi can’t even get things into gear at this early stage, then how is it going to move forward and develop at all?
Good luck to Saudi. You’re going to need it!
