A year or two ago, I would have never imagined that I would be writing an article with this title, at least not this soon; but things change.
If anything, my previous articles about ISIS which I wrote back between 2014 and 2017 were very alarming and predicted the worst, but again, things change, and back then there were many reasons to feel alarmed.
I have reiterated in that era of the past that the ISIS ideology had deep roots in fundamentalist Islam, and I still have this view. I have professed many times that this fundamentalist doctrine had been in place long before Christopher Columbus set a foot on American soil and that we cannot blame the CIA, Israel, the UK, or the West in general for the creation of this ideology, and I am not retracting. I have also said that those fundamentalist views do not represent real Islam, and there is no change in heart on this aspect either. So what has changed?
In this context, we are talking about the ideological rise and fall of ISIS. We are not talking about the political aspects and the horde of players who helped create, manipulate and employ ISIS for different reasons and agendas. With all of those players however, ISIS needed the support base, and that support base was the Muslim youth who are disenchanted by world events and the manner the world views Islam. Furthermore, they are disgruntled by the governments of the Muslims World and their links to the West: links they consider as treasonous and shameful. It was this mindset that was the recruitment base for ISIS; not the Pentagon.
So for the benefit of clarification, I must herein emphasize that there has always been a perverted version of Islam that founded itself on violence; in total contradiction to the Quranic teachings that clearly forbid coercion and oppression. This version was finally committed to a written doctrine, written by Ibn Taymiyyah; the founding doctrine of the Wahhabi Saudi sect.
When the West “discovered” this doctrine, it tried to employ it to its advantage, and this was how Al-Qaeda and ISIS were created, with Al-Qaeda’s role to hurt the USSR in Afghanistan, and ISIS to topple the legitimate and secular Syrian Government.
The not so funny thing about ISIS was that when the proclamation of creating the Islamist state back in mid-2014, the Caliphate passion became something easy to grow and self-nurture in the hearts and minds of many Sunni Muslims across the globe; including moderate ones.
Harking back at what happened back then; one honestly cannot blame them much. After all, many of the then Iraqi ISIS commanders and fighters were former Saddam-era Iraqi Army personnel. Many of them have even actually walked away from the “dictator” in the hope that the “regime change” was going to be for the better, only to soon realize the state of mess and mayhem that the American invasion created.
Before ISIS “had the chance” to show its ugly face, may moderate Muslims thought that this new force emerging out of Mesopotamia, one that does not recognize the border lines that Western colonialists have drawn between Sham (Syria) and Iraq, one that wants to unite Muslims, is perhaps “the one” to go for and support.
Ironically, most of those Muslims today look back at those days and either forget or wish to forget that at one stage, at some level, deep down in their hearts they supported ISIS, albeit not fully knowing what it stood for.
It was this subtle and covert support for ISIS by some elements of the global Sunni rank-and-file that gave ISIS a fertile ground for luring in recruits and that was the major cause for concern.
If anyone looks for evidence that supports this statement, then he/she need not go further than looking at the recent history of terror attacks in the EU (especially France) and the UK.
After the horrendous Bastille Day attack in Nice in the summer of 2016, a new direction for terror was established, and the perpetrator proved that one does not need a weapon to kill. His weapon was a truck, and he didn’t even need to buy it. He rented it.
After this infamous attack and what followed it, I among many others, predicted more of such events, and they continued for a while, and then suddenly they stopped. Why? This is the question.
For ISIS to be have been able to keep its momentum and growing support base, it needed to gain the hearts and minds of Muslims. But to do so, it needed to score victories and be able to revive Muslim nostalgia. Both are equally important.
In the beginning, it boasted its victories and the biggest of which was the takeover of Mosul; Iraq’s second largest city. This was how the ears of many Muslims worldwide pricked up and poised themselves to hear more. Some jumped on the band wagon straight away, but the majority braced and waited for more evidence that ISIS in general, and Baghdadi in specific, are the right ones to trust and follow.
What followed the capture of Mosul by ISIS however was nothing short of disgrace for ISIS; one that exposed its true inner ugliness. And instead of being able to capitalize on its initial momentum and promising to achieve more of it by adopting at least some of the virtues of Islam, ISIS turned its inability to achieve further military victories into a blood bath, looting and a sex slave market.
Before too long, even some of the most ardent Muslim supporters of ISIS turned away from it, and then against it, to the degree that they now even forget or deny that they once supported its baby steps.
What is interesting to note is that the move from secularism to Islam has not changed in the Muslim world. An increasing number of Muslim girls are wearing the Hijab with or without ISIS, but ISIS itself has lost its sway with the general Sunni Muslim populace.
What is interesting to see is that the definition of what is a “real Muslim” is changing, and changing quickly. And whilst the move towards Hijab and all what comes with it is still going full steam ahead, there seems to be a growing trend in the Muslim World towards moderation.
The ISIS fundamentals of black and white doctrine seem to be becoming increasingly tolerant of certain shades of grey. Even some personal Facebook friends and friends of friends who have brandished their photos performing Pilgrimage at Mecca don’t seem to be at dis-ease posting other photos brandishing a Heineken. To someone outside the Muslim Faith this may not sound like a big deal, but in reality, it is.
This all sounds good, but what has happened here really?
ISIS has definitely lost the plot. Fortunately for the world, irrespective of who are/were the people “behind” ISIS, its recruitment base had to come from Muslims; especially the youth. Having lost the ability to draw more recruits and enthusiasts who pledge their actions and lives to Baghdadi without even having to be formal ISIS members, ISIS as an organization and a name is now a spent force, and dare I say a figment of the past.
This however does not mean that the Muslim community has “immunized” itself against potential new ISIS-like organizations and agendas.
The initial rise of ISIS could have well been the result of a nostalgic remnant of a certain belief system that many Muslims did not even want to investigate and study properly to see if it really and truly conforms with the Teachings of Islam and all other religions. The fall of ISIS however heralds a new unprecedented era in the Muslim mind, and this calls for great optimism.
Perhaps for the first time in the history of Islam ever since its inception, Muslims are now beginning to examine some teachings they inherited. Even Saudi Arabia and its infamous Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman (MBS) seem to be sick and tired of the old rules and dogmas that allow this and prohibit that; based on no foundation at all. I have never been a fan of MBS, but having lived in Saudi Arabia for a while, I had always thought that this country would never allow women to drive, never ever. The fact that he changed this is a great step in the right direction. This does not take away from MBS’s genocidal activities in Yemen of course, but on the dogmatic side of things, this is a huge step towards reform. In Saudi Arabia there is also a call to have a second take on the Hadith (the spoken word of Prophet Mohamed) in an attempt to identify certain teachings that promote violence and that are incompatible with Islam. The rationale behind this is that they were never the words of the Prophet to begin with and that they might have been injected into the huge discourse by others with political agendas. Such an initiative was totally unfathomable only up till a few years ago.
Does this mean that we are seeing the end of Muslim fundamentalist-based violence? Hopefully we are, but the real answer to this question is for the whole Muslim community to answer.
The truth is that ISIS may be done and dusted, but the ideology behind lives on.
It is hoped for that the actions of ISIS will be remembered for eternity. It is hoped that Muslims realize that if they truly want to pursue the fundamentalist dreams of conquest and world dominion, then they cannot distance themselves from the legacy of ISIS. It is hoped that they look forward to a new world that is open to all religions and doctrines.
I am a firm believer that God created man in His own image, and part of this image is goodness and love of goodness; and Muslims are part of this creation. After all, Muslims, all Muslims believe in the Hadith that says: “The best people are those who most benefit to other people”. Russia and Syria might have won the military war on ISIS, but it is Muslims who have won the spiritual fight. Muslims: 1, ISIS: 0.
Unlike the author, I predicted the extirpation of NATZO’s mercenary vermin in army as soon as Russia came to Syria’s assistance in 2013, and held NATZO at bay by disrupting missile guidance systems of the NATZO armada. It seemed to me that the regular Syrian Army could deal NATZO’s half million rat army but (like Serbia, Iraq and Libya) Syria was much too small to hold off “the irresistible armed might” of NATZO itself. This was in 2013, two years before Russia officially entered the fray as an ally of the Axis of Resistance (Syria, Lebanon, Iran and China with Iraq struggling to break its chains and join the Free Nations). Why did Russia need to join officially in 2015? Because the Syrian Army was already driving back NATZO’s mercenary vermin, and NATZO was forced to show its own hand by officially supporting its rag-tag ISIS savages with NATZO heavy weapons.
But ISIS is merely a name, like AlQaida, a file in NATZO’s bureau of mercenary extremists. They will be exported to destabilize and disrupt other countries in the Free World. And these extremists are not all Muslim Wahabeasts; NATZO is grooming Buddhist extremists to destabilize China, at the same time as it is shipping Muslim extremists to destabilize Buddhist Burma. Look beyond the ephemeral terrorist Logo ISIS. Look beyond the official terrorist army NATZO. Look for the paymaster.
Isn’t the writer’s real point of deeper substance. Please comment those who are closer to the issue than myself. The real point as I read it being that Muslim culture is beginning to develop the capacity for independence of rational thought, as applied to the interpretation of religious belief. Islam is starting to catch up with the independence of mind displayed by the West. If this is right it portends many good things. In time.
@Snow Leopard. Thank you for giving me an opportuity to make amends for something I left out. I left out my agreement with the author’s final paragraph, and my appreciation of Islam as a major spiritual power for good in the world, alongside Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity, Communism and Scientific Agnosticism. In fact the high ethical standards of Dr.Bashar and First Lady Asme Assad are among the reasons for my partisanship to the Syrian cause. Also on a personal note, though I myself lean toward Scientific Agnosticism plus the Golden Rule as my “Guide for the Perplexed”, during my stay in Israel I have met individual Muslims whose morality was every bit as good as the morality of my Christian, Buddhist, Jewish or Communist Atheist friends.
“Es ihrrt der mensch solang er strebt.” — Goethe
Dr N. G. Maroudas. It is always a pleasure to dance with you. Again, I deeply relate to your point of view, and the maturity of your self expression. All good wishes, from a Christian socialist.
Interpretation its self is selective, if you were to know about the deeper intellectual Muslim religion and its beginnings and beliefs, one would find it just the opposite, the Wests true ambitions lie at the foundation of Muslim beginnings. Where the west steered wrong was the belief that they were to be the creators and controllers of these ambitions, and the mechanism to accomplish this was brute force rather than rational thought.
B/c once rational thought was part of the western equation, the western political system became nothing more than the study of infinite human denial, and this has already been proved.
Alabama, it’s not on such a high level that we err. The rules of good social behaviour are very simple: Don’t steal, don’t lie, don’t kill, don’t do to other people what you would not like done to yourself. Do not take the Name of God for a pretext.” Every religion has something like these rules which lead to Good; even agnostic rationalists follow these simple prescriptions. The temptation to break these simple rules are also very simple: one thinks, “It will profit me if I steal this, or lie about that, or kill those to sweep them out of my way”.
Simple personal greed, simple temptation. The bad shepherds who mislead our Western sheeple suffer from simple greed. And that is why they break all these simple rules of good behaviour all the time. And the simple minded sheeple look up and think, “If those high and great Leaders can lie and steal and kill and be hypocrites and get away with it, then maybe so can I”. In all religions, all creeds, all political movements, there is a movement for good and a movement for bad. We have come to a time when, across the whole of Western civilization, we see flagrant abandonment of simple morality in high places:
“The hungry sheep look up, and are not fed”. — Dante
The above comment by the good doctor is in my view an excellent justification for the necessity of religious culture being enriched by a capacity for intelligent self reflection, critical thinking and independence of thought on the part of its adherents. The spiritual struggle in our times is ill served by the abandonment of this vital aspect of conscious self responsibility. The absence of critical self consciousness in spiritual aspiration produces a mass insanity of self righteous rigidity and condemnation of the other by the “hungry sheep who look up and are not fed.” We are living in a time when the forms of spiritual manifestation are going through deep evolutionary development. This requires us to honor the richness of tradition but combine it with a deep willingness to allow the Creator to engender revolutionary transformation in the way we enculture spiritual awareness. The real art is holding past and future in balance with regard to spiritual and social awareness. This demands spiritual flexibility and adaptability from all of us. For the cleansing of the earth, a cleansing which the global consolidation of Zio-Nazism forces upon the world, is a cleansing that has, according to the Christian tradition, the power to make all things new. I regard the Saker’s site as an excellent forum for this ongoing process.
@Snow Leopard. Amen to that. The cleansing which Rabbi Yeshuah of Nazareth brought to the Jewish tradition was a cleansing from Zio-Nazism because he gave a fresh answer to the question, “Who is my neighbour?” And a cleansing from rigid, selfrighteous Exceptionalism, a reproof to false Leaders who pray thus, “We thank Thee, Lord, that we are not like other nations”.
Vita Nuova. New Life because a new way of looking at life.
That quote is John Milton, right?
To which quote do you refer? Dr M is a rich source of quotes and has offered more than one.
Here in Austfailia we have a PM who was elected on a tsunami of social media lies (I suspect something even more sinister, too)who, as a Minister, locked up refugees, including children, until they went mad and self-harmed, and bragged of it, as Treasurer targeted the poor and defenceless for savage austerity, as PM spat in the face of Indigenous leaders requesting political input to the governance of their affairs and refused, point blank, to raise starvation level unemployment benefits, unchanged for 25 years, sneering at ‘expensive empathy’. This after he rammed through massive and highly regressive tax cuts for the rich. And much more besides. And this thug openly and often gibbers on about his ‘Christian’ faith!!??And his regime is full of Pharisaical vermin like himself, many ‘former’ military sub-fascists and racists.
Looks like you’re more focused on the real matter then the author. It’s primarly the cause of hegemonic financial imperialism rather then questinable spiritual beliefs and goals of “used” masses.
Pin8. If one digs deeply enough into the origins of hegemonic financial imperialism one discovers that it too is a “questionable spiritual belief of the “used masses.” Essentially capitalism is a religion, in origin and practice. The distinction between the two fades into nothing when subject to a depth analysis. Everyone knows the bankers are personifications of the patriarchal god. Whether intellectually grasped or not. They even openly claim so, in testimony before congress. Anarchist bomb scars left deliberately unrepaired on the front face of the Bank of Morgan in Wall St are called on PBS a deliberate self display of “the stigmata of capitalism.” Who has the best suits? The banker gods.
ISIS and its mercenaries were almost as ugly as Zbigniew Brzezinski himself. One can almost imagine his depression and outright despair from ”down below” as his brainchild is joining him far too early. This is a huge success for Syria in general and its leadership in particular, knowing to call for help from trustworthy allies.
In retrospect, what we have here is an arising, golden opportunity to study Western revisionism in full force. As with Nazi Germany, ISIS will be depicted as a totalitarian monster that the West’s Axis Of Kindness had to wage a ferocious war against while not forgetting about the criminal Syrian dictatorship and the latter’s backing by Russia/Moscow/The Kremlin/Putin. The Syrians and the Russians didn’t liberate anybody, full stop.
Daash isn’t going away. Its US and Zionazi, Wahhabeast and NATO patrons will ensure that it rises again, in Syria, Iraq and wherever in Eurasia and Africa that its Masters require death and destruction to be spread. Already in just the last few days, reports, as inevitable as Epstein’s ‘suicide’, have appeared stating that Daash is ‘back’. Surprise, surprise! They are, of course, attempting to blame Trump for this development, and demanding that US troops be returned to the illegal occupation of parts of Syria (so much for the ‘Rules Based International Order’)and the perpetual occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan. And the Daash butchers are using new genocidal tactics, like crop burnings, straight out of the Torah/Old Testament instructions for genocide.
Well, you have to differentiate between their ascension and their decline, Mulga. As a comparison, the USSR beat the hell out of Nazi Germany, which was a huge setback for world reaction, despite the fact that Nazi Germany’s top brass were back in office as NATO’s faithful servants 10 years later. Similarly, ISIS and their paymasters have sustained a jolting blow at the hands of Syria, Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah. To put all this into perspective, we are in the terminal prolapse phase of Western imperialism. It began when China put down the colour revolution stunt back in 1989. When Putin took power in Russia, the West started rolling downhill heading right into the gutter. ’Statesmen’ such as Trump, Johnson, Pompeo etc. give a comical touch to the rot.
Yes-the Three Stooges come to mind. Moronic, violent, cruel slapstick, but excruciatingly funny. Pompeo is sui generis, however. I’ve never seen anything like it before. Bolton is Moe, for sure, but less charming.
There was even talk of ISIS being in the Philippines, just as the hegemon’s relationship with the uppity Duerte was going through a rough patch. They’ll still be around, and will undoubtedly pop up in various places to do the dirty work for the Empire.
I havent’s heard much of Duerte for a while, which is in my opinion the result of “giving” him some form of cancer, which seems to be a currently fashionable way to remove inconvenient opponents.
As for the ISIS, I agree with the people stating that ISIS hasn’t gone anywhere. It was just ordered to lay low until called back to service again. The Caliphate idea will stay as for Muslims this is the highest form control not bound by the borders, ethnic, tribal, etc identities. This is why ISIS keeps popping up all over all the time and it’s leaders magically survive any form of “assassination” attempts, while all other lesser vermin do not.
I also understand that, Erdogan strives to be the Caliph, which is way more than Sultan.
After reading “After the horrendous Bastille Day attack in Nice in the summer of 2016”, I realised that the writer is full of BS.
What happened in Nice was an obviously planned false flag. The authorities were deeply involved. The German “journalist” who filmed it had earlier filmed another false flag in Munich. I could go on.
It is so very boring and tiresome to read stuff that is based on nonsense like the “hijackings of 9/11”. Please stop polluting our minds with this garbage. Thank you.
My thoughts exactly, but I’m a little more generous, and think that on an intellectual level there is a lot of substance to his thesis about a lot of Muslim sympathetic youth becoming somewhat more critical and more broadly oriented in their thinking.
w
Well said mate, it appears some people are not quite as ‘awake’ as they make out or are not what they make out. l would think you could count the real terrorist attacks over the last fifty years on one hand. there’s generally a hidden hand behind them and we know which country that hand comes from.
Correct…the reality is that at least SOME PEOPLE understand the are “Fake” ,,,,just
like ISIS the NATO proxy army. Such use of rationality to see the fraud has been a
target of “shaming language” by the bought and paid for corporate media but I
could care less. The truth is what is is…
ALL the ‘jihadist’ death-squads, since al-Qaeda was created in the 80s, are confections of the USA, the Sordid Barbarians, the Pakistani intelligence agency (itself an asset of the CIA)the UK, NATO and Israel. Even before that the USA entered an alliance with the Sordid family Wahhabeast Mafia in the 40s, and used Shia extremists to overthrow Mossadegh in Iran in the 50s, and Moslem fanatics to carry out the genocide in Indonesia in 1965. The evidence of this Master-servant relationship is far beyond gargantuan, but NO Western fakestream media presstitute scum-bag will ever notice, of if they do so, open their mouth to utter the truth for once in their wretched existences.
A Superficial and almost orientalist article, one could expect from some Fox commentator. If the sugarcoating is MBS, oh well! If I may suggest a book to the author by the great Fanon called “Black skin white mask”!
@Alfred of Cairns, if you read the article understanding it was meant to be about what drives the actual perpetrators; not the people behind them, and still believe that the perpetrator of the Nice attack was knowingly a part of a false flag attack that was also intended to end his own life, then I would have to conclude that we have mutual feelings about each other.
hahahah – Hi Ghassan – its a good short message to us in the West to the very perplexing question of the number of recruits in ISIS…how did it attract so many Muslim men – who killed mostly other Muslims ? Btw – I have just read a conversation between Indians about India and the terrible rapes that are happening very much there…so its not just Muslim young men – its deprivation worldwide –
Not enough Christ – in my (not so) humble opinion. Christ as an individual..
It wasn’t just a false flag but a false flag hoax. The supposed truck which ran over people had not one speck of blood on it anywhere. It was pure white and no blood on its grill, wheels, nor anywhere.
These are drills gone live and with crisis actors. They are sometimes filmed in advance – by a day or more.
They use a combination of crisis actors, mass casualty dummies and props.
They are running active shooter and other drills all the time. In the drills people are dressed up as victims with makeup wounds, fake blood, etc.
The culprits and witnesses are often times found to have an acting background as well as family connections with the military or government. David Hogg has a father in the FBI and a mother who works in the news media.
All intellectuals need to study conspiracies. It is the only way, they can learn, what is really going on in the world. If I may suggest a book called “the unseen hand” by professor Ralph Epperson. He is one of those, who was asked to join the globalist cabal. One doesn´t need to agree with everything conspiracy theorists say or write. In my opinion it is the gradual sum of the information, that is important. In this book Epperson writes the stupidenst story about Imam Khomeini too, calling him a russian double ganger. But the book is worth reading.
”I have also said that those fundamentalist views do not represent real Islam . . .”
If you really believe that, then I urge you to spend some time with Bill Warner, who has spent the last 40-some years researching Islam’s political ideology, which has not changed for 1400 years. You will learn that, although Muhammad began by preaching peace and tolerance, those efforts failed, and he switched to extreme intolerance and extreme violence, which worked really, really well, and have dominated Islamic practice to this day.
I recommend starting here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Qpy0mXg8Y
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im0IisZ77QI
(These two illustrated lectures cover the same ground, but in a supplementary, rather than repetitive way)
Wretched hasbara Islamophobia. Roll on the religious wars and genocides, eh ‘Jack’.
Well Mulga, my very first thought about this article was, that it could as well be a hit piece sugarcoated with some BS, I mean MBS! There is not that far a distance from what the author writes to conclusions made by Jack. it is almost linear! The fact that Jack is also full of it is a matter of same difference!
Leading Sordid Barbarians don’t call the Zionazis ‘cousins’, from time to time, for nothing.
How do you know which version of a religion is the “real” version. Obviously you can’t and so there is no real version. Each version just is what it is.
You can know. How? By the cultivation of spiritual self awareness. It is our responsibility to do that.
How true-I mean, who better as a moral and spiritual exemplar than Trump? Or BoJo? Or Bibi? It is so deeply sinister that those who proclaim their ‘religious’ faith, like Pence, Pompeo, or the mysterious ‘Family’ who have been noticed again, or the Dominionists, Pentecostals (like our own sadistic brute, Morrison), are such vile creatures.
In a perfect world one will take a look at the prophet of the religion in question, his life and his deeds. The next steps is to look at the book of that prophet. The third thing one may look at is the very best and most trusted students of that prophet and their deeds and life. In a perfect world these three things could give us a clue about the religion in question.
Jack. With all due respect, but I have seen many such assessments of Islam made by Westerners who do not speak a word of Arabic and cannot understand the Quran. Every Verse of the Book has a linguistic meaning, a literal meaning, an esoteric meaning and a philosophical meaning. There is not other such book as fare as I know. This is why it is a virtual impossibility for any one to translate the Quran without having to give at least 3-4 interpretations; but translators don’t, and they stop at the tier of understanding that they see and/or the one that suits them. Interpreters like Bill Warner should familiarise themselves with the Arabic language BEFORE they take the words and translations of others; but they don’t.
”Does this mean that we are seeing the end of Muslim fundamentalist-based violence? Hopefully we are, but the real answer to this question is for the whole Muslim community to answer.”
It’s not going to subside as long as there are sponsors interested in promoting mayhem and murder.
Somewhere in my archive I have an article from some newspaper in usa describing how the cia, with the help of universities literally wrote, printed and flew primary school books to be used on afghani children in order to turn them into warriors. The afgani children were taught math by using weapons as examples like tanks and guns and bullets. The americans couldn´t destroy the Soviet Union by teaching children, that two apples plus two apples equals 4. It had to be tanks. Still, the nice humane westerners learning math using apples have managed to kill 200 000 000 in just a few decades. I wonder what there would be left of this world, if the children in the west were brainwashed like their afghani child victims, whom the americans themselves named Al Qaeda. Does it matter, what they call themselves! Al Qaeda, Taliban or ISIS, all their roads lead to the satanic pentagram of a building! The westerners must be washing their hands a 100 times a day to fell so clean!
Some Muslim acquaintances of mine also seem to be thinking differently recently. A really beautiful Turkish mosque was built nearby, reputedly the biggest mosque in the Southern hemisphere, now they are questioning a lot about Saudi Arabia, even vociferously telling me that the Arabs collaborated with the British against the rightful Turkish Caliphate during the Lawrence of Arabia days. At first I was stunned because I was trying to remember what a Caliphate was again, but then I remembered that not so long ago these guys were in awe of Saudi Arabia, flaky flaky. And best of all, this new mosque is supposedly a Gulenist initiative.
Anyway, since the Saudi rise was questionable, the current Saudi state is then also questionable. Reminds me of another country in the East, so to speak.
comment to the posting of Jack:
Dr. Bill Warner – is in reality Dr. Bill French. He has neither formal education in Islamic law, Islamic history or history of the Sharia. Moreover he lacks even normal historical basic knowledge of Europe and Middle East.
He even distorts history of Europeans and Middle East countries acknowledged by real historian with formal and long standing education.
I think that he even doesn’t know the real formal Arabic language especially the one used in Sharia laws.
His writings are full of false history.
Despite all this I would like to draw the readers to the point, that Wahabbism isn’t real Islam. It was founded during the 18th century in a small village in Saudi Arabia.
What Saudi Arabia is practicing is in more than one way contradict to the written scriptures. Especially when it comes to Sharia laws.
Wahhabism gained only with the “help” of America more “ground” and only the last approx. 40 years.
Its extremely sad to read (and/or hear) that far too many people believe what he says in his “lectures”. Only those people who are not well educated and have no idea of real history even of Europe can believe what Dr. French says.
Usually real historians don’t consider “Wikipedia” or “youtube” as reliable sources when it comes to history. Historians always are stressing their students not to believe and be extremely critical of such “written books” or “lectures” (as that of Dr. French and consorts) except when it is real more proven (by real historians) through different sources.
By the way: Dr. French (“Warner”) belongs to a group of people who are stirring disinformation concerning Islam and heating up discussions for discrimination of Moslems.
How sad in the 21st century – seems that people still haven’t learnt to accept different views of life. Extremely sad as nature itself shows it to us in so many ways becaise our universe is based on diversity which penetrates practically everything.
Or in other words: Gods creation is based on diversity in an extremely wonderful way and proven in even smallest tiny creations with for us still not easy access.
The formal Arabic language – as for example is written in the Quran – is difficult to learn.
Monnalisa,
You only talk about Wahabism and that was 18th century.
How do you explain the Ottomans? They were the original Islamic caliphate (and just as murderous as ISIS) and they existed back in1500s – way before Wahabism.
It’s very easy to blame everything on Wahabism without going deeper into the actual scriptures of the Koran. What is written there and is it all benign towards non-muslims? How should this be interpreted?
The only muslim scholar that I know who addresses this and who has spoken about the Ottomans and the Mughals, (not just about Saudis) is Sheik Imran Hosein…
So Serbian girl, Enlighten us! My I suggest though, that you revise the date of the first caliphate by a couple of years, just to be scholarly!
After 911 there was a huge jump in conversion to Islam especially amongst women! Sad story though, the best thing any antimuslim can do for us is to misinform your people or outright lie, being it for their zealous service to Christ or pure hate! Either way we thank you!
I don’t understand your answer. If indeed, as many say, that there is to be an alliance between orthodox christians and muslims then there will have to a much more thought provoking discussion then simply blaming all conflict and oppression on 18th century wahabism. That was the only point I was making.
Here is what I was referring to regarding the interpretation of the verse in the Koran. My personal opinion is that it is applicable to the historical relations between Muslims and Christians, but I would have preferred the opinion of a mulsim commentator on that…
http://imranhosein.org/n/articles/understanding-islam/73-neither-friends-nor-allies/
“How do you explain the Ottomans?”
How do you explain the israelis?
How do you explain the pindos?
How do you explain the nazis? And their German ancestors?
How do you explain the brits?
How do you explain the spanish?
How do you explain the Mongols? Or the Huns and the other steppe peoples?
How do you explain the poles? Or their bros the ukronazis?
How do you explain the italians? Or their Roman predecessors?
How do you explain the Aztecs?
I could go on indefinitely. Using the acts of a nation state to denigrate the religion of the majority of the people in that nation state is bigotry. Since the religion being smeared is Islam, these bigots get a free pass to smear.
“Acts of a nation state”??
The Ottoman empire was Sunni caliphate and a colonial empire, NOT a nation state.
“The Ottoman empire was Sunni caliphate and a colonial empire, NOT a nation state.”
Standard debate deflection technique. Don’t have a valid argument, no problem, there’s always the sematics trick to provide cover. Not very clever, grrrl.
Sounds like a down-market version of Bernard Lewis, the Zionazi Islamophobe guru. Is ‘Warner’ a Zionazi, too? Is the Pope a Catholic?
Mulga, not sure what you’re getting at but just a fyi: Bernard Lewis admired the oppressive Ottomans. He wrote extensively about that. He hated Orthodox Christians and was successfully sued for hate speech against Armenians in France…
Since Mulga brings up Bernard Lewis (incorrectly unfortunately) here is the true info on him: He was an apologist for all violent Islamic sects e.g. ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Ottomans For years Orthodox Christians have tried to discredit his “reasearch”, until finally, our Armenian friends successfully sued him in a court in France. No small feat winning against a Zionist in Zionist-occupied France…
Here is an english translation of the court transcript:
https://www.armenian-genocide.org/Affirmation.240/current_category.76/affirmation_detail.html
SB,
Bravo! Never let truth be silenced by those woefully misinformed. I’m glad that you replied to MBM with irrefutable facts that dismiss his racist and historically ignorant ramblings. I’m more than a little surprised by Mulga’s piling on. The intentionally misleading characterization of the Turkish caliphate, as just another nefarious government, was not much of a surprise.
You see, just like the, Bosnian muslim, Albanian and Vatican Nazis say, it never happened and if it did, move on. How dare we ask for historical truth to be acknowledged. Just sit there, shut up and forgive the butchers and oppressors.
Well, guess what, we’ve been forgiving for centuries and watching these same vile beasts (Roman Catholic and Muslim extremists) repeat their heinous acts over and over again. To those absolutely clueless about history, the Vatican has been working hand in hand, with islamic fundamentalists, against Orthodox Christians, since the Middle Ages.
Perhaps, instead of denying centuries of slavery, forced Islamic conversion and genocide, it would be wise for some of these defenders of the indefensible to actually listen to the words of the wise Sheik. You guys sure sound a lot like those hasbara trolls you love to whine about. Pot meet kettle!
It would benefit the Saker community if someone wrote extensively about the Ottoman empire and their Turkic roots. (Not modern Turkeys’ revisionist history). You’ll find that the Khasars first made their way to Europe together with these other Turkic tribes. Someone mentioned not so “woke” earlier in the thread. How sadly ironic of them.
Why Epithet, good to read your lines!
If you come here seeking answers or reassurances regarding the fabled Muslim-Orthodox Christian alliance of the end times, described by the Sheikh, I fear you will be sorely disappointed.
Any quick internet search on “genocide by death toll” will place the Armenian genocide and the Greek genocide in the top 10. These were BOTH perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire- a Sunni Caliphate. In spite of the fact that these atrocities have been well-documented, all you will find here, in this comments section, is denial and historical revisionism …nothing new under sun.
The problem with the hasbara is, that you are too predictable. You keep repeating the same few tiresome point again and again. You may not believe it, but I do hope, that the hasbara get better at their work. It will make it more interesting for people like me. Call your hasbara teachers to join you sometimes in the discussions, and maybe they can do a better job.
Do you think it is smart to bring up the “holocaust” card again again? Don´t you understand, that the holocaust trick falling apart. Do you expect some idiot to defend your “holocausts” and you will be able to shout: “Se I told you so!” Bring us the best hasbar, that ever lived, maybe he can come up with something new!
“Bravo!…ad nauseum”
I’m reminded of this technique:
Carter and the Swarm
http://www.israelshamir.net/English/Eng9.htm
There are things, that we muslims in the know, do not talk about, because it does more damage to with regards to our current situation in the world than it can benefit us. If the good sheik talks about the ottoman empire is because, he wants to tell the truth. What happened to the armeinas is nothing compared to what our sunni brothers have done to us Shia for the last 1400. Still one has to give the sheik a fair warning as to being use by the like of you E. Personally I also believe, that he is turning into a victim of his own ego! Maybe if I call it “speech Biryani”, he will understand! In his own minds eye he has the best argument for doing so: telling the truth! Even enemies have things in common!
If you are expecting for someone like me to defend the killing of armeians, you have to wait until the grass begins to grow under your feet, as we say in Iran. In your case in the middle of Sahara that is! In fact the biggest enemy of you hasbara is your ignorance. Ask any sunni and they will still accuse US iranian and shia of destroying their empire, which is in many ways true. We never submitted to them, called them illegitimate and fought them!
When the turks were killing the Armenians, it was US the shia, who opened the door to our country to them, gave them shelter and saved their lives! Their sons and daughters are still living in Iran. They go to their churches built on our soil and can worship their God, because we saved them! The stupidity of ignorance! We saved the Armenians, WE the shia, we the iranians!
“Since Mulga brings up Bernard Lewis (incorrectly unfortunately) here is the true info on him: He was an apologist for all violent Islamic sects e.g. ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Ottomans”
Well, MM claimed this:
“Sounds like a down-market version of Bernard Lewis, the Zionazi Islamophobe guru.”
Let’s take a look what others have said about lewis.
The Legacy and Fallacies of Bernard Lewis
https://consortiumnews.com/2018/06/29/the-legacy-and-fallacies-of-bernard-lewis/
Covers a lot of ground and shows how lewis was one the more influencial purveyors of Islamophobia, as well as his extreme bigotry towards Arab peoples, and conversely, naturally, his whoreship (worship of) to zionazi, inc.
Do not weep for Bernard Lewis, high priest of war in the Middle East
https://www.middleeasteye.net/opinion/do-not-weep-bernard-lewis-high-priest-war-middle-east
Also describes the boy’s Islamophobia and bigotry in detail, along with his active role promoting israel’s wars in the Mideast, by pindo proxy, of course.
Even aljazeera points out lewis’ Islamophobia:
Alas, poor Bernard Lewis, a fellow of infinite jest
https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/alas-poor-bernard-lewis-fellow-infinite-jest-180528112404489.html
The boy’s Islamophobia is well established. His alignment with zionazis is equally established. Why you would want to hide or deny these aspects of the freak is curious, to put it mildly.
One day, people will understand that there’s a huge difference between Saudi Arabian culture and the doctrines/preachings of Islam. Until that distinction is made, more jargons talking about moderate Islam will still be written. Islam is perfection without compulsion. However, some of you aren’t ready to make proper research before spewing. Let me give you an example, do you know prior to the Prophethood of Muhammad s.a.w, Saudi Arabian men had the culture of burying their infant daughters alive because they regarded them as a source of shame? The people of Mecca were one of the most vile creatures on earth. These people literally started clan wars that lasted generations over petty things. Compare the way Lebanese/Syrians/Jordanians etc. treat their women with Saudis ans you get an insight.
Now as for issues of compulsion in Islam, there’s literally a chapter in the Quran which admonishes Muslims to stay in their religious lane and not mind others business. Meaning there’s no compulsion in the religion. ISIS/AL QAEDA and co NEVER at anytime represented the true teachings of Islam nor the traditions of the Prophet. Do you know that in the early days of Islam when Muslims were persecuted in Mecca, the Prophet told the Muslims to seek refuge in Abyssinia under a Christian king? These are just few examples. If you remove Mecca and Medinah from Saudi today, the country is basically a low budget Nazi concentration camp. Just because we have extremist in a religion doesn’t mean you start talking about moderates.

Thank You Saker for your clean whle firm mind.
Not much for me to say on Islam, as a Westerner, as a Christian. My view/views, as they are, are all too dependent upon the lame generalizations, clouded by an overly narrow myopia—I have my own first-hand impressions of the many different Muslims, of various stripes, here in the States; but more often it is the Christian emigres, fleeing onerous Muslim oppression at home, who have influenced my thinking.
What is the meaning of ISIS for Islam? —both now and tomorrow? My takeaway from Mr Kadi’s analysis is that the worldwide tsunami of secular transhumanism is now licking the shores of the Ishmaelites, and is dampening their fervor all the faster for ISIS. It can’t be helped that disgust and revulsion, at one’s own people and religion, can only cause neuroses, internal schizophrenia—that there are certainly exceptions only proves the rule.
The vast majority of Moslems reject the jihadist vermin of Daash, al-Qaeda, Boko Haram etc. The huge majority of the victims of these Wahhabeast agents of the USA, Israel and Sordid Barbaria are decent, ordinary, Moslems, Sunni and Shia etc, alike. The tactic to set Sunni against Shia is old, and had one of its more recent reiterations in the prime Zionazi planning document, the so-called Oded Yinon Plan. The logic of Zionazi confected Islamophobia is endless religious war and Holy Genocides all designed to advance the interests of Zionazism and the Eretz Yisrael project.
Mulga, how do you know what the vast majority of Muslims think regarding their religion? What they follow and what they reject?
Ghassan Kadi makes the following claim. It is different, far more subtle (and more accurate I suspect). He says that up to now many Muslims are NOT FAMILIAR with the details of of the teachings of Islam.
This is what he writes:
“Perhaps for the first time in the history of Islam ever since its inception, Muslims are now beginning to examine some teachings they inherited. ”
This phenomenon, by the way, (ignorance of religious texts) I believe is widespeard, not just amongst Muslims, but also amongst Catholics, Orthodox, and Jews.
Before the Iraq war the usa government did their own “Whistleblowing”. They would give some reporter some fake news, which the newspapers gladly printed. Afterwards the war hawks would refer to their own fake news as proof of some insidious Iraqi ploy.
They say that the pen is mightier than the sword, but not that fast! Just because
Kadi presses some keys on his computer, it doesn´t become valid or proof of anything. Kali is obviously and evidently ignorant about the things he postulates.
I was once watching an old Star Trek movies on DVD. There was an interview with an African American actor about his role in the movie on the bonus track of the DVD. In the movie he plays the role of a xenophobe general. In the interview he explains, that he was very uncomfortable saying his xenophobic lines. He even tries to convince the director of the movie to let somebody else utter the words. But the director tells him, that it has to be him.
It is obvious, that the African American actor knows, what he is being used for. On the other hand it is also obvious, why the movie studio and the director needed an African American to play the role usually reserved for the white supremacists. This is the phenomenon, that Shahid Malcom X called “House n****”.
We all know today, that the americans were planning to destroy 7 countries in 5 years and even openly advocated for attack on muslim countries in the infamous PNAC report “Rebuilding america´s defenses”. Right after 911 usa needed their muslim version of “House nigger” for the double purpose of preempting any muslim indignation and labeling the western aggressions as the 4. Crusade against the muslim. On the other hand they also needed a few socalled muslim to utter, what usa politicians and spokesperson could not say without being accused of racism, imperialism and all that jazz; enter Bari Atwan and Hamza Yusuf. One could hardly change to any channel without being bombarded with Atwan equating Islam and muslims with terror fanaticism and all that jazz!
Our enemies own the global msm homogenizing the opinions of people from Japan to Sahara to Argentine. Do we really need to give them a helping hand for free?!
Minute by minute,
Ghassan Kadi may have gotten it completely wrong, for all I know, but at least he has exposed his thesis in an eloquent thought-provoking article which is more than what you and others who disagree with him have done.
A group of commentators has resorted to under-the-belt ad hominems (ignorant, western stooge, zionazi neantherthal who preaches hate etc…) and arrogant, patronising advice to “read real history by real historians” (gee Monnalisa, why didn’t we think of that before? /sarc) or deflections on the crimes of the west (we know they contaminated the environment and this is not the subject)
The one historian that was named was Bernard Lewis and you got him completely wrong too (see my comment above)…
You need to put up an argument with on-subject specifics.
Well Serbian Girl, write a comment worth responding to, and I will gladly do so. To keep talking about someone like Lewis within the framework of this thread is simply fully. Using Lewis to justify the opinions of Ghassan Kadi is kind of a double edged sword and by no means a badge of honor, considering the kind of animal Lewis was!
With regards to Ghassan Kadi I may have read other articles by him or may even have written comments to his articles, but I can´t remember, that I have. In order to understand him better, we have to know something about him, I don´t at the moment. Hopefully he will write more and we will all become familiar with his string of thought. I do respect the fact, that he puts himself out there like that. But it doesn´t mean, that I agree with him or want him to stop writing.
The thing is, that if Ghassan Kadi took this same article and publicized it on some conservative anti muslim forum, they will love it. The same way you do! One of the first things my teachers taught us at the journalism school was to consider the recipient.
And when you write:
This is what he writes:
“Perhaps for the first time in the history of Islam ever since its inception, Muslims are now beginning to examine some teachings they inherited. ”
What do you think the orientalists have been saying for the last 200-300 years? The same exact thing! Forget about the audacity of the white man´s burden lite character of it!
May I suggest you take some of the same medicine you are prescribing to others.
Sigh..You can bring a horse to water but you can’t drink.
I have already done exactly that you just haven’t bothered to read. I’m not wasting anymore time.
Lets take a look at your comments:
“It’s very easy to blame everything on Wahabism without going deeper into the actual scriptures of the Koran. What is written there and is it all benign towards non-muslims? How should this be interpreted?”
And then we have :
“If indeed, as many say, that there is to be an alliance between orthodox christians and muslims then there will have to a much more thought provoking discussion then simply blaming all conflict and oppression on 18th century wahabism.”
Do you really think, that you can so easily manipulate people into thinking, that the problem is not just wahhabism but the totality of Islam?
Since you metioned the horse, let me tell you about the duck, that walks and talks like a hasbara!
Yes, I asked the question about the texts in tbe Koran, as I understood from various Islamic scholars, such as Imran Hosein and now Ghassan Kadi, that correct methodology, translation and interpretation of the text is required instead of being taken literally.
This is what bothers you?
In your paranoid mind does that make me “hasbara ” ? Or perhaps you think that all those who disagree with you need to be beheaded?
By polluting this blog with more of your ad hominem.. “Hasbara!” ..makes me wonder about your own motivations at preventing a mature discussion about this subject and effectively acting as a disruptor of this comments section….
What mature discussion are you talking about? You have just given us a link as a cover for your antimuslim rant. I do appreciate your zealous but your attempts at manipulating the truth to fit your agenda is are not working.
Yes, (a confirmation word, a positive word to associate the rest of your rant as being correct) I asked the question about the texts in tbe Koran (playing an innocent and curious individual just wanting to know the truth without any personal agendas. Anybody questioning the right of anyone to question something is automatically associated with authoritarian and anti democratic tendencies. The hidden message is of course muslim authoritarianism, antidemocratic so on, The same tactics were used to justify the infamous Muhammad cartoons. It is a cleaver trick because the defense is freedom of speech and democratic discourse!) as I understood from various Islamic scholars (here we have the “house nigger” effect, that I have described on this thread. They always need to refer to some “indigenous” person to be able to justify their attack. It is not them saying it, it is “themselves” saying it) , such as Imran Hosein and now Ghassan Kadi, that correct methodology, translation and interpretation of the text is required instead of being taken literally (at bit of “science” to sugarcoat the attack with is always a welcome touch too. As if they care about the correct scientific method, with which to analyze Islam. That would be oxymoron considering the lack of it, when they attack Islam).
This is what bothers you? (what we have here is another attempt to blame the person under attack for the attack. The function of the question is to shift the blame onto the person being attack as the source of the problem)
In your paranoid mind does that make me “hasbara”? (what we have here is a classic attempt to shift the blame and at the same time try to portrait one´s innocence) Or perhaps you think that all those who disagree with you need to be beheaded? (so far you didn´t do that bad, but this one destroyed all your work. I do understand the urge, but it was a huge mistake. I do believe, that you lost your audience here. No need to explain why)
There are extremist sects in most of the established religions. This is a part of human existence. Most people are rational, normal sorts, a minority are mentally defectives.
The problem is these mentally disabled freaks scream louder, act out more to express their warped, less than human* views than normal people do.
One can recognize these critters quite easily. For example, if someone writes a rational article about how extremists hijack aspects of a particular religion to further their own extremism as a corrupted version of that religion, similar extremist mental defectives, opposed to said religion, will spam bigoted nonsense trying to portray the religion as the corruption promoted by the extremists.
This sort of hate spamming on the web, and in western zio-media, in general, is ubiquitous when the subject of Islam is mentioned. It brings out the websayanim in force.
Look at who here is trying to smear Muslims by inferring, or claiming, the extremists actually represent the normal in Islam, or important aspects of it. The things are quite obvious, so it’s not difficult to sort.
This is how the zionazi-gay psywar machine enforces their bigotry among the colonies.
* By less than human I mean neanderthal. I suspect neanderthal genetic “contributions” may be a factor.
Dear vot tak,
Neanderthals were never that stupid.
The Neanderthals lasted a lot longer than Homo sapiens sapientissimus ever will.
Following the money trail from most prominent Western Islamophobes, and you soon find Zionazi patrons and paymasters-if the Islamophobe hate-meisters are not Judeofascists themselves.
MM
I agree 100% with you there.
Ultra-brief Introduction to Political Islam
‘Why are people afraid of Islam?’
Almost everyone in the West today who is talking about Islam – whether in support or in opposition – does not know what they are talking about. They have not read the three Islamic texts. (Yes, there are three, not just one.) And they know nothing of the violent, blood-soaked, 1400-year history of Islam. So they know absolutely nothing about that over which they are squabbling so fiercely.
Starting out without the slightest clue about the truth about Islam, I spent some three years or so researching it. I have read several different translations of the Koran – which has been deliberately and thoroughly scrambled, and made utterly unintelligible without the key. I have read the Sira, which among other things contains the key (in fact, it is the key). And I have done a significant amount of reading among the Hadiths.
Muslim authorities insist that the three texts are perfect, complete, universal and eternal. No changes or varying interpretations (ijtihad) are allowed. No thoughts are allowed to be expressed if they contradict anything that is written in the Koran, the Sira or the Hadith. All of Islam is contained in those texts, and nowhere else. If it’s not in the Koran, the Sira or the Hadith, then, according to the texts themselves, it is not Islam. If it is in one of those texts, then it is compulsory.
Less than half of the content in the three Islamic texts is about religion. Nearly 70 percent of the Koran, for example, is used to spell out the violent, utterly intolerant Islamic political ideology, the most important part of which comes down to this: (my wording) “fight and kill the unbelievers, and keep on fighting and killing them until there is no one left in the world who is not a Muslim.”
Don’t believe it? Try this; “Fight them (unbelievers) until there is no more discord and the religion of Allah reigns absolute, but if they submit, then only fight those who do wrong.” ( Koran 2:193) (emphasis added)
Or this; “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement.” (Koran 5:33);
Or this; “I (Allah) shall strike terror into the hearts of the kafirs (unbelievers). Strike off their heads; strike off even the tips of their fingers.” (Koran 8:12)
And this; “When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they submit and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way. God is forgiving and merciful.” (Koran 9:5)
Just a minuscule sample of the 150 or so commands for war upon – and slaughter of — unbelievers, contained in the Koran alone.
Or these, from the two primary collections of Hadiths;
Abu Muslim 001.0031; Muhammed: “I have been ordered to wage war against mankind until they accept that there is no god but Allah and that they believe that I am His prophet and accept all revelations spoken through me. When they do these things I will protect their lives and property unless justified by Islamic law, in which case their fate lies in Allah’s hands.” (emphasis added)
Bukhari 4,52,196; Muhammed: “I have been directed to fight the Kafirs until every one of them admits, ‘There is only one god, and that is Allah.’ Whoever says “there is only one god and that is Allah,” his body and possessions will be protected by me except for violations of Sharia, in which case his fate is with Allah, to be punished or forgiven as He sees fit.” (emphasis added)
And if you read them all, you cannot but come away with the understanding that those jihadists who are furiously slaughtering thousands of innocent men, women and children today are, in fact, not “extremists.” They are following both the letter and the spirit of Islam – permanent, worldwide slaughter and conquest – as they have been doing for 1400 years. They are, in fact, true Muslims.
You may not want to believe any of this, so I urge you – read the texts!
But – slogging through those texts is an almost unendurably dreary task. If you wish to understand political Islam, but don’t want to suffer through the reading, try this decidedly undreary, fascinating, illustrated talk by an actual expert on political Islam. Again, I recommend to you the highly informed lectures of Dr. Bill Warner –
“Why people are afraid”:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im0IisZ77QI
– about the political content of the Islamic texts, and about the ultra-violent nature of Islam’s history and current practice, by a quantum physicist (PhD) and university professor who spent 40 years researching political Islam.
And this lecture, by the same person, which covers much of the same ground but in a supplementary, rather than an identical way:
“Why we are afraid”:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Qpy0mXg8Y
Note the constant use of the descriptor “political” here. Dr. Warner has nothing to say about the religious content of the Islamic texts, and I myself am unalterably opposed to superstition in all its forms, so cannot prefer any religion whatever. Only the Islamic political ideology is being addressed. Likewise, Muslims themselves are not criticized nor even discussed. Only the doctrine – the content of the three Islamic texts imposed on Muslims, and which is attempting to be imposed upon the entire world, is examined and explained in detail.
//
If you become interested in Dr. Warner’s findings, then an internet search on the term “Bill Warner Islam” will turn up a long list of shorter videos on various aspects of Islam.
Also, the web site “ https://thereligionofpeace.com/ “ has tons of eye-opening revelations from Islamic history and the Islamic texts themselves.
Jack, you are 20 years out of date: stirring up hatred against Islam was a tactic for the Bush/Bliar rape of Iran. It worked for a while: anti-Muslim Antisemitism became as rife during the early 21st century as anti-Jewish Antisemitism was during the early 20th century. But the high ethical standards of Muslim leaders, Dr.Assad in particular, and the triumphal ability of Hezb’Allah, Syria and Iran to resist “NATZO’s irresistible armed might” — to overcome the combined military and financial power of the U$, the EU, of Canada, Australia and “Israel” — has generated respect for the Syrian Arab Army, for Hezb (the Party of Allah) and for Iran. A respect that becomes even greater when people can see the difference in ethical level between Dr.Assad, Rev.Nasr’Allah, Rev.Khameini and our own abysmal Western Jacks-in-Office who lie, cheat, kill and think about nothing but money for themselves, for their friends and their relatives.
Of course Europe has one great Christian Leader to offset its shame: Putin. Leader of a country which spans Eurasia from its Christian West through its Islamic Central Asia to its Buddhist Far East.
Amazing how zionazi-gays think spamming Islamophobia on sites like this will actually wash. Me, personally when I see s.w.a.r.m. spam their xenophobic hate propaganda, it only further reinforces my view that israel/zionazism and humanity are mutually incompatible and that zionazism is the one that needs to go.
@Jack
Deeply regret to inform you that you’re almost 30 years too late. This kind of hasbara was all the rage in the early 1990s. Now that ISIS is defeated, the West is in need of ideological contortions all right, but the meme ’All Muslims Are/Believe In Evil’ is not to be found among them. ISIS ended in defeat at the hands of predominantly Muslim troops. The Christian West supported ISIS and achieved a massive population transfer of Muslims to the West as a premeditated result. 30 years ago, nobody in the West suspected the deeply revered ”victors against Communism” of harbouring such intentions (despite their Taleban comrades-in-arms in Afghanistan throughout the 1980s). The West resorted to all-out violence and lawlessness once the Eastern Block was destroyed. Muslims had nothing whatsoever to do with it.
Thank you Jack, and I am sorry for you Jack. I do hope, that you at least have had time to eat and sleep during your 3 years of study. Humanity thanks you including us muslims. Imagine if we had someone like Dr. Warner or you showing us the truth for the last 1400 years. All of our greatest minds for the last 1400 years are turning in their graves, having finally realized the lie, they all lived. Maybe white man’s burden really is about light, a thousand point of it!
They say, one fears, what one does not know. Surely in your own minds eye, you seem to have figured it out. You seem to be sure about the 3 thing. What if 6 was true too? What about 9? Maybe you should have read the Lebanese Alama Asgari instead. Maybe then you wouldn´t be so sure about your assumptions.
You seem blinded by a fear, that does not belong to you, only to your victims all over the muslim world. But since you have spent 3 years studying political islam, what is one more book!
https://archive.org/details/PeshawarNights
You don´t have a clue about Islam, political Islam or the history of Islam. And when it comes to your quotes from Bukhari and Muslem, they are not worth the paper, they are printed on. And when it comes to your quotes form Quran, read the whole page! It is true though, we are the people of the book and the sword, more like tanks and rockets now, but true. Maybe our Prophet should have just asked his followers to lie down and die. Wouldn´t that have been lovely for the western colonial powers! Regardless if death and destruction is the measure we muslims are nothing compared to the like of you with or without Christ!
For your information kafir doesn´t mean unbelievers either. It is just a common misconception good enough for someone with an agenda!
I really hope, that one day somebody actually can do, what clowns like your doctor are supposed to be doing. Don’t waste your time with us muslims. Go out, have fun, get a life before it is wasted on you. And good luck to you!
Anything destructive in Islamic theology pales into insignificance besides the Old Testament/Torah with its unceasing litany of demands for Holy Genocides, and the means of doing so (ie kill the women and children, burn the crops and stores, eliminate the domestic animals) and the celebration of genocides like Passover and Purim, equivalent, in my opinion, of some future Nazi ‘religion’ in a few thousand years, annually celebrating the Nazi Judeocide as a defence against Jewish plans to commit genocide against the Germans.
And then there is history. Various Islamic armies did commit atrocities, but so too did Jewish, Roman, Mongol, Chinese, Japanese, Hindu, Aztec etc, armies. But no-one comes near the bloodshed of the supposed ‘Christians’, with their genocides in Africa and the New World, in India, China and the East Indies, the internecine slaughter of the Thirty Years Wars, World Wars One and Two, Auschwitz, the Einsatzgruppen, the neo-liberal Washington Consensus of neo-imperialism and neo-colonialism, and the global ecocide of Free Market capitalist neoplasia. And, of course, all caused by the sort of racist, xenophobic, supremacist hatred of ALL non-Westerners, and many Westerners, too, that we see on the march throughout the West today.
As soon as the Christians came out of their Catacombs they started subjugating and murdering others. No other religion has done more harm to humanity then Christianity. How many Christians are following the ideal of Jesus 2 or 3 ..
From the New Testament Mathew :10/14 to 16 ” Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace upon Earth I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father and a daughter against her mother, a daughter in law against a mother in Law. A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household”
No Christian has the right to blame the Koran no menber from any religion in fact they all have committed atrocities
No matter how many people have died in the name of religion from the down of man until today, it is just a drop in the wast ocean of genocide committed by the Godless money worshipping and devil worshipping science in the service of those hellbent to destroy mankind.
Last night, I started watching a so-called ”documentary” on ISIS, broadcast on one of Sweden’s TV channels: ISIS — The origin of violence (by Tom Holland). The film was made in 2017, so it wasn’t really up-to-date. But after half an hour I had enough of the abject shallowness of sensationalism in general and the promotion of utter hoaxes such as the Bataclan ’massacre’ in particular. As I hinted at earlier, we are now beginning to experience a Western revisionist onslaught where ISIS are evil scum the West had to wage ”war” against. By the time I stopped watching, absolutely nothing had been said about the financing of ISIS and their deployment to Syria. Judging by this ”documentary”, France has been more ravaged by ISIS than anybody else, proven by an ’eye-witness’ to the Bataclan ’massacre’ where a woman was ’crucified’ in a window. Syrians don’t count unless, of course, their sufferings can be blamed on ’the Assad regime’, which they can’t.
The Stalin/Hitler WW2 garbage is the West’s compulsory curriculum. Will ”documentaries” on ISIS be as successful in glorifying the West’s actions in the Arab and Muslim world?
to Nussiminen:
Your irony (if I interpreted is right) is to the point.
I usually get sick in my stomach while I hear the “mantra” of Europeans when saying: “Our values” !!
Or “We have values and those are based on humanity ….”.
The unfortunate point is: People and/or masses like to hear that it is “exceptional” or “has values” or “Christians are more human than other religious believers …” etc.
This because masses like to have a “good massage on its egos”.
Moreover, masses don’t want/like to hear of facts describing how brutal and aggressive its own countries are acting and committing mass murder.
Look for example to some Holllywood movies: always Americans to save our world ……

Actually, I would say that the Exceptional and Indispensable folks are forever high on cultural coprophagia. To them, a ”happy ending” translates into excessive violence and bloodshed dished out by Pindo imbeciles, thereby saving the world. Self-worshipping parasites just cannot have enough of this kind of depravity. Really, I wouldn’t be the slightest surprised if Assad and Putin are going to be vilified as the éminences grises behind ISIS as per Hollywood un-reality.
A ‘judge’, an obscene description, in New York, has found IRAN responsible for 9/11. An entire polity far beyond the ludicrous.
You shouldn’t dismiss the claim just like that, Mulga. What if they have found an Iranian passport/driving license somewhere in Central Park?
CIA and Mossad keep on celebrating 911 like so:
We had joy
We had fun
We brought rubble all around
And a passport on site
Sure, the Pindos aren’t too bright
Western presstitutes even have the effrontery to rewrite history to hide the fact that the USA it was who created al-Qaeda, and who have used it over and over again, in Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya, Algeria, the Sahel, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya and in attacks in the West, under various guises, ever since. And as patsies for the 9/11 atrocity, to hide the plain involvement of Israel, US sayanim and American Sabbat Goyim like Cheney. But these are the scum who still swear blind the Oswald shot JFK, Sirhan shot RFK, the Twin Towers fell because they were on fire and Hillary Clinton beat Sanders, fair and square, and literally hundreds of other lies, most ludicrous.
Comment to Serbian Girl and in general:
I would suggest that you start to read real historian books. First of Europe than of the Middle East. Also to read something about Asia wouldn’t be too bad.
Furthermore, Islam accepted Christianity as well as Judaism quite early. You will find more churches in the Middle East as Mosques and Synagogues in Europe all together.
Third there were great scholarly discussions about does God exist or not during the 9th, 10th and 11th centuries already.
And last but not least look what Christian oriented countries did and still do to other countries up till today and how much misery (and do not forget the pollution of our earth on several places with depleted uranium!! which lasts for several millions of years!!) it brought to far too many millions of people.
I could go on and on but I think the last para would suffice if you are interested in earnest to know.
PS: And this I say as a born Roman-Catholic in the Middle of Europe and with roots from pure Middle Europeans for several centuries.
Hello Monnalisa,
Just curious- did you actually read Ghassan Kadi’s article?
Here is a sentence from this article:
“I have professed many times that this fundamentalist doctrine had been in place long before Christopher Columbus set a foot on American soil and that we cannot blame the CIA, Israel, the UK, or the West in general for the creation of this ideology, and I am not retracting”
When ISIS first became a thing I thought the language and attitudes were somewhat familiar. They were, straight out the old testament, replicating the barbaric attitude of the chosen ones to their victims. I subsequently learned about the origins of Wahabism and its links back to the Donmeh out of Turkey. I must say I was not that surprised.
Further revelations about the funding and support of ISIS by the US, UK and Israel have reinforced my view that this ISIS entity is no more Moslem than I am an eskimo. It is simply a device by which to erode the nation states of Israel’s chosen targets for regime change and worse.
The mere nomenclature simply screeches its origin. ISIS = Israeli Secret Intelligence Service (as with MI6) ie MOSSAD. ‘Sham’ as a name for Syria came straight out of nowhere, and is definitely a ‘sham’. They love their effrontery of obvious involvement, subtly boasted of, but which no-one dare notice, let alone mention.
The Fundamental thing common to all wise teachings of the ancients is the call to know thyself. They then continue to cultivate a universal identity on an individual. They cultivate LOVE for oneself, fellow mankind and for all beings of the universe. Finally they give the Laws. Add two qualities present in any sane individual namely Conscience and Humanity [love creatures created in the image of God)’ What does Islam Teach ? I understand the concept of ‘Mass Psychosis ‘ exemplified by Ww2 etc. Division, restrictions hatred and mass murders in the name of God I cannot understand.
I think the way H.E Dr.Assad and Pres.Putin have left this most difficult battle to the last (the battle nearest to Turkey, home ground of NATZO’s largest army) will go down in history as a strategic masterpiece. After slowly and systematically clearing NATZO’s ISIS vermin from the rest of the country — so as to avoid distraction — the Axis of Resistance now concentrate their military forces against kettled terrorists; meanwhile, carefully laid diplomatic manoeuvres have fragmented NATZO’s ramshackle alliance of badly led (and often mutually antagonistic) nation states.
@Dr. NG Maroudas
Yes, it’s a masterpiece on the part of Assad and Putin, and it shows the absolutely crucial role of courage, determination, and intelligence in the leaderships of countries under siege such as Russia and Syria. 80 years ago, the Republican government in Spain lost the Civil war in similar conditions — to wit, fascists (Christian and Muslim) attacking it with the full approval of the lovely Western Democracies plus Europe’s fascist powers but it proved unequal to the task, despite Russian (Soviet) aid. This time around, the legal government held its ground with Russia at its side and, as a result, Western imperialism is in serious trouble. Putin has stated openly — with 100% sincerity as always — that no more wars will be fought on Russia’s soil. With ISIS defeated in Syria, the prospects have very much improved.
So the real emergent “super power” is at last starting to show itself here would you not say? To use words such as “super power” in their authentic and real meaning.
Mr Ghassan Kadi,
I am a regular reader of your articles. They are informative and well written. Lets get to the Basics, A Seed Requires the right conditions to Germinate. I get the impression from your article that things like Wahabism ,Indigenous culture American /Israeli Influence, MBS, Money, poverty, ignorance etc Play the role of a Seed that somehow find the right conditions for germination in certain people in the middle East.
I am interested in the nature of those individuals who are being used to commit this heinous crimes against humanity. Have you ever had a chance to interview one of them. Was he a sane normal being ?
I’m just taking an educated guess here, but it seems to me that SA was initially probably a place where outcasts of Muslim society gathered (or were sent) so as to not tormented or extermenated for their unusual beliefs.
And it was the recent discovery of easily obtainable oil reserves that then brought wealth to these descendants of these past outcasts. The west being a willing partner of such strange behaviors and a magnet to a greed of wealth, then became very friendly with these occupants of wealth and they shared in the greatness of discovery.
Being so great they had to defend their wealth and beliefs at any cost b/c not to do so could only lead to demise, and it is already well known that before admitting defeat, a (so called), great society would prefer to perish in battle rather than relent to a greater cause. This is probably the root of the problem.
Thank you Jika and no, I haven’t “interviewed” any terrorist, but I have known some who have become that way inclined. They do so in “good faith”, because indoctrination is a powerful tool. If their teachers and peers tell them God commands you to kill, they will do it without thinking to themselves. But the sad reality here is that such teachings are not based on the real teaching of the Quran.
Jika, take a lool at this video of the most famous Iranian martyr, who was beheaded by ISIS in Syria. Take a look at the simple home of his father. Look at him kissing the feet of his mother and father before going to syria to fight. the song is a homage to him too!
The contrast to the like of ISIS can not be any more clear!

Can someone point me to Jika’s articles? Good recommendation here!
What is the significance of the so-called Constitution of Medina in all of this discussion about Islam.
Given that this blueprint for the original Islamic State had Mohammad himself participating.
According to Wikipedia sources for what they are worth, Rights of non-Muslims were as follows:
The non-Muslims had the following rights on the condition they “follow” the Muslims:[25]
1. The security of God is equal for all groups,
2. Non-Muslim members have the same political and cultural rights as Muslims. They have autonomy and freedom of religion.
3. Non-Muslims take up arms against the enemy of the nation and share the cost of war. There is to be no treachery between the two.
4. Non-Muslims are not obliged to take part in the Muslims’ religious wars.
To be sure, this seems to have been a very different kind of Islamic State than what Daesh “ISIS” is.
to Serbian Girl on 11th August 2019:
I don’t agree with the para of the author you mentioned. Point.
Why? Because fundamentalists can be found (throughout the times) within philosophers and religious believers.
There is nothing special or much different about fundamentalist Islam in comparison to other fundamentalists. Christianity has had a lot of fundamentalists and still up till today you will find extreme ways of thinking (especially in USA) and even sometimes outright stupid. Some times Christian fundamentalists committed horrendous crimes against humanity. Therefore, to point out to Islam especially is in earnest not quite right – in my opinion.
There are other paras I do not agree partly. However, some points the author writes are o.k.
For your info: I lived in Middle East for almost 30 years. So I know exactly of what I am speaking/writing.
