Our investigation of Srebrenica points to some very important insights concerning Jasenovac. Jasenovac, for those who are unfamiliar with it, was a death camp in the Nazi satellite “Independent State of Croatia” during World War II, also known as the “Auschwitz of the Balkans.” What is the link?
It is that while the massacre in Srebrenica, arising from the conflict which took place in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s, was engineered primarily to serve political purposes, it also had another extremely important consequence. That was to shift attention away from the genocide in Jasenovac suffered by the Serbian, Jewish, and Roma people trapped during World War II in the “Independent State of Croatia”. One of the chief impacts of Srebrenica was to diminish the magnitude and horror of Jasenovac by imputing to the Serbs an invented crime of genocidal proportions, allegedly committed by them during the Bosnian war.
Now, if one is looking for a mirror-image Jasenovac analogue for the iniquitous use of Srebrenica that was just mentioned, here it is. Jasenovac, and more broadly the heinous atrocities committed by the Croatian Ustashe during World War Two, were a key factor in London’s otherwise inexplicable switch from supporting their faithful ally General Mihailovich to installing the internationalist agent Josip Broz Tito, a person of obscure origin and equally obscure allegiances, as the post-war ruler of Yugoslavia. The British, and the Western alliance as a whole, critically needed the mass influence of the Roman Catholic Church for the anticipated post-war mobilization against the Left, and the perceived threat of the victorious and strengthened Soviet Union in particular. A Roman Catholic Church untainted by association with fascism and the genocidal atrocities committed by its followers in the heart of Europe was a sine qua non for that operation. Mihailovich’s victory assuredly would have led to exposure of this nefarious link and instant discreditation of the Vatican, on a scale that would dwarf the current scandals and would have rendered it useless as a moral authority in the projected crusade against communism. The patriot Mihailovich therefore had to be jettisoned and ideological chameleon Tito elevated in his place. It could safely be assumed that under Tito’s rule Jasenovac and all its implications would be swept under the rug, which is exactly what happened.
Srebrenica has been aggressively promoted as a meme suggesting Serb guilt for the commission of genocide, although the factual circumstances of this event, which our NGO has thoroughly researched and established, unequivocally refute that. On the other hand, while Jasenovac fully satisfies Convention on Genocide criteria for finding genocide, that event is being systematically underplayed in such a manner that knowledge about it is suppressed and respect for hundreds of thousands of its victims is scant.
What follows is a brief comparative analysis of these two events in order to demonstrate how a misleading narrative about a politically contrived genocide has obscured a genuine genocide and largely impeded proper respect for its victims.
Srebrenica fully fits in with the contemporary pattern of false flag operations where the actor who actually commits the crime skilfully shifts the responsibility onto the designated fall guy. The latter’s role is to be saddled with the blame, he is subjected to a brutal campaign of vilification, and ultimately takes the assigned political and moral punishment. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
To this day we do not have an official and reliable Srebrenica death toll. As judge Jean-Claude Antonetti pointed out in his dissenting opinion in the Tolimir case, after more than twenty years of “investigating” the Hague Tribunal has no clue of who conceived and ordered the crime. Srebrenica is plagued with uncertainties and deliberate obfuscations. The only items in the dubious Srebrenica narrative alleged to be unquestionable certainties are the two memes of “genocide” and “8,000 executed men and boys.” A powerful special interest propaganda machine has skilfully and perfidiously injected them into the mass subconscious.
The mechanism is driven by three fundamental political objectives. That agenda is behind the staging of Srebrenica killings and then utilizing their propaganda effects for base purposes. The first objective was to create a significant enough, inflatable and statistically elastic, mass slaughter incident, seemingly attributable to the Serbs, in July of 1995. That was on the eve of Operation Storm, set to be executed in the Krajina in August of 1995, using NATO logistics and Croatian ground forces. As Peter Galbraith, US ambassador to Zagreb at the time, freely admitted in 2012, “without Srebrenica there would have been no Operation Storm.” That strongly suggests, at a minimum, that the former was conceived and carried out to provide cover for the latter.
Another important secondary role of Srebrenica has been to serve as a symbolic construct, a nation building identity tool for cementing Bosnian Muslim ethnicity. The third and perhaps most momentous of the uses of Srebrenica – as Diana Johnstone would put it – is to serve as the underpinning for the lethal “Right to Protect” interventionist doctrine. It was constructed supposedly to ensure that there would be “no more Srebrenicas.” However, in practice this predatory doctrine has led to the pitiless destruction of several defenseless countries and the violent loss so far of at least two million innocent, mostly Muslim lives. R2P was designed to ensure hegemonic global control, not to prevent Srebrenica-style slaughter.
What follows is a quick overview of Srebrenica facts before I return to Jasenovac. The Srebrenica narrative is fraught with glaring anomalies which have gone largely unaddressed and unexamined critically.
1. On July 11, 1995, Srebrenica passed under the control of the Army of the Serb Republic. The Dutch battalion was also there, but it did nothing, acting mainly in an observer capacity.
2. After gaining control of Srebrenica, the Serbian Army evacuated to Muslim-held territory about 20,000 Muslims from Srebrenica – women, children, and elderly – who had gathered at the UN base in Potočari. The International Red Cross was present.
3. Simultaneously, men of military age, soldiers of the 28th Division of the Bosnian Muslim army, numbering between 12,000 and 15,000, well-armed and in a combative mood literally until the day before, suddenly and inexplicably lost their will to fight. Instead of putting up an active defense in a situation where they had a 3 to 1 numerical advantage over the Serb attackers and where the rugged configuration of the landscape clearly favored them, they conducted a risky breakout manoeuvre out of Srebrenica enclave toward Tuzla, on the other side of the front-line. The 60-kilometre-long corridor they had to traverse through Serb territory had been prior to that heavily mined and the retreating column also encountered numerous ambushes set up by the Serbian army. The 28th Division suffered its most massive casualties as a result of combat with the Zvornik Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army, leaving between 4,000 and 5,000 dead. However, the 28th Division column was a legitimate military target, as admitted by the Prosecution of the Hague Tribunal, and therefore no one was ever charged or convicted by the Tribunal for causing it casualties. In the end, part of the retreating column were killed in combat, part reached Muslim lines in Tuzla, and part surrendered. It is important to point out that the remains of the majority of the putative “genocide victims” were found in the proximity of sites where there had been clashes between the Muslim column and the Serbian forces.
4. Of those who were taken prisoner, some were transferred to prisoner of war camps and some, apparently the majority unfortunately, were executed. A prominent role in the executions was played by the mysterious 10th Sabotage Detachment, an oddly multinational unit within the Bosnian Serb Army in the midst of an ethnic conflict, set up in 1994 for no apparent purpose and with no fixed position within the Serbian Army’s order of battle. The Detachment’s only significant operation turned out to be precisely the execution of Srebrenica prisoners in July of 1995. The famous “star witness” Dražen Erdemović, a condottiere of Croat ethnicity who fought in all three armies during the Bosnian conflict, and who ultimately became the Hague Tribunal’s sole witness to the executions after making a convenient plea bargain with the prosecution, was a member of that unit. What makes Erdemović exceptional is that he is simultaneously the Tribunal’s only witness and also an avowed perpetrator of genocide. He is also the beneficiary of an extraordinarily mild 3-year prison term for such a grave crime.
As debunked in detail by Bulgarian analyst Germinal Civikov, Erdemović testified contradictorily and unconvincingly that, during a five-hour period, he and seven other detachment colleagues executed 1,200 prisoners bussed in (he could not state even the approximate number of busses) to a field near a place called Branjevo. According to him, they shot the prisoners in groups of 10, which makes 120 groups and given his time frame leaves an improbable 2,5 minutes per group. During that time, the prisoners were walked a distance of 100 to 200 meters from the vehicles to the field of execution, they were searched and their personal documents and valuables were removed, the executions were carried out, and finally the victims were checked for any survivors, who were administered the coup de grace before bringing in the next group. All that in 2,5 minutes. According to Civikov this is a highly unlikely scenario, but the Hague Tribunal had no problems with it, and this scenario is incorporated lock-stock-and-barrel in all its Srebrenica judgments.
An oddity of this story is that Tribunal forensic experts, who in 1996 searched the site indicated by Erdemović, instead of 1,200 found the remains of 127 victims, of whom 70 had ligatures suggesting execution, a 90% reduction of Erdemović’s claimed total. Another oddity, if one wishes to view it as such, is the fact that the Hague Tribunal never sought nor indicted, much less questioned, Erdemović’s colleagues in the commission of the crime, Franc Kos, Stanko Kojić, Vlastimir Golijan to name some, whom Erdemović had identified at his first appearance in the Hague in 1996 and whose whereabouts was not a secret. Erdemović was never asked who issued the execution order. At present, he is living as a protected witness of the Hague Tribunal in an unidentified country and with a changed identity.
5. Thus, and this is another remarkable oddity of Srebrenica that the public are mostly unaware of, during a quarter of a century since the first Srebrenica indictment the Tribunal has managed to condemn to an insignificant sentence only one perpetrator of the alleged genocide – Dražen Erdemović. Every other Srebrenica defendant was found guilty and sentenced not for directly executing prisoners but based on concepts of “command responsibility” or “joint criminal enterprise”. The question of who ordered the physical liquidation of the prisoners remains glaringly unanswered to the present day.
6. Equally significant, most Hague Tribunal verdicts point to different figures, ranging from 4,970 to about 8,000, as the alleged number of “genocide victims.” Key facts are systematically brushed aside, such as that all those figures necessarily include combat casualties from the retreating 28th Division column, as mentioned previously, as well individuals who died or were killed in other ways in the Srebrenica enclave over the preceding three-year period. Thus, neither the Tribunal nor any other authority has to this day established even the approximate number of actual “genocide victims.”
7. The forensic picture of Srebrenica raises additional scepticism about the official Srebrenica narrative. We have analyzed every single one of the 3,568 autopsy reports and established that they contain the remains of 1,923 individuals based on the most reliable indicator, the number of paired femur bones. Based on the Prosecution’s own autopsy reports, of that number 650 were killed by shrapnel, mines, and grenades, which excludes the possibility of execution but is unquestionably consistent with combat. But the main point is that the total of 1,923 exhumed bodies represents all human losses in the Srebrenica enclave during the conflict, from 1992 to 1995.
8. When talking about Srebrenica, it is important to reiterate that without the “genocide” allegedly committed there and the hypocritically asserted obligation to “prevent another Srebrenica,” there would be no right-to-protect “humanitarian intervention” doctrine. That doctrine is increasingly becoming the principal raison d’etre of NATO and its excuse for the destruction of sovereign governments in different parts of the world under the guise of benevolence. Yet – and this is another Srebrenica oddity for you to chew on – at the Dayton peace conference in November 1995, four months after the event, not a word was spoken about “Srebrenica genocide” or the mass execution of prisoners. Does anyone seriously think that Alija Izetbegović would have refrained from extracting maximum political advantage in the negotiations by using the Srebrenica card if he had had any solid evidence of genocide to show? There is, in fact, much evidence to suggest that Srebrenica was initially a false flag improvised to provide media and political cover for the huge crimes committed by Croats and their NATO backers against the Serbian population of Krajina in Operation Storm, which followed shortly thereafter. Srebrenica’s potential as a tool to be used for other purposes was grasped only gradually, and later. The “genocide” refrain was introduced only in 1997 at an international conference in Sarajevo, including the “8,000 men and boys” meme. The right-to-protect use of Srebrenica came several years after that, around the time of the Kosovo war.
So much for an essential overview of Srebrenica. Now to return to Jasenovac.
There is an immense contrast between Srebrenica and Jasenovac. Jasenovac was not a false flag operation but an openly conducted, ideologically inspired extermination site, which functioned publicly and in accordance with the laws and political goals of the satellite, pro-Nazi Croatian wartime state. All the resources of the Croat state were consciously mobilized and intensely focused to make Jasenovac possible as the country’s premier mass killing field and slaughterhouse. That is not to neglect, of course, thousands of Serbian villages and other less well-known spots where the relentless extermination program, which shall forever blacken the name of that unhappy land, was being implemented.
There is an important question about Jasenovac to which so far no one has been able to provide a coherent answer. It must be raised. For the last twenty or so years vast treasure has been channelled into Srebrenica mass grave exhumations to forensically document inflated prisoner of war execution figures. As pointed out, best efforts and unhindered access notwithstanding, Srebrenica exhumations have been an embarrassing flop. Just slightly over 1,000 human remains have been uncovered in a condition or with a pattern of injury suggesting execution, far short of the target figure of 8,000.
For Jasenovac we have a multitude of independent reports, many from shocked but victim-hostile, perpetrator-friendly German sources, about the massiveness and depravity of crimes that were committed there. They run not into thousands, but into the hundreds of thousands. So here is the question.
For three years during the conflict in the nineties, the site of the main Jasenovac camp on Croatian territory was under the control of Serbian forces. During that time, not the slightest effort was made by local Serbs or their authorities to exhume any of the Jasenovac killing sites and to forensically document what was bulldozed over and hidden underneath the earth’s surface. Why?
Assuming that the exigencies of war might have prevented them from taking these reasonable steps at that time, there is a follow-up question. The war has been over for a quarter of a century. But the Jasenovac death camp extended over to the other bank of the Sava River, which is now fully under the control of the Republic of Srpska. The Gradina camp of the Jasenovac complex is beyond the reach of Croatian authorities and they cannot tamper with or misrepresent the evidence that lies just under the surface of the earth there. That is all the more important since historians and survivors are unanimous that most of the mass killings associated with Jasenovac actually occurred on the Gradina side of the Sava River.
For two decades the authorities of the Republic of Srpska have tolerated tendentious exhumations around Srebrenica, on their territory, designed to document a phony genocide and saddle them and their people with responsibility for it. Every year with great fanfare Republic of Srpska officials come to Gradina to collect political points by commemorating the horrors of Jasenovac, but they do it risk-free, while remaining on the earth’s surface. When will they send a team of forensic experts with shovels to start digging and to check and document what lies underneath the surface?
In today’s brutal, neo-fascist world expecting risky behaviour from politicians is unrealistic. But there is a moral obligation to pop the question: Why hasn’t the government of the Republic of Srpska done the natural thing to document the scope of the real genocide that not too long ago was inflicted upon its people and took place on its territory? Why has it failed to do even the minimum to collect the tangible evidence fully within its reach to settle once and for all the demeaning and cynical Croatian numbers game about the victims of Jasenovac?
I am ready to take my shovel and start digging. Who will join me?

Srebrenica is one gigantic piece of fraud. The town was a Muslim military garrison, under the protection of a Dutch contingent of the UN. The Dutch commander permitted the garrison to go on a rampage, during which it burned down 130 Serbian villages and butchering 3.400 Serbian civilians. The Bosnian Serb Army took the town.
After the war the Muslim authorities in Sarajevo erected a monument to the “genocide”victims of Srebrenica. They also did an incredibly stupid thing. The engraved into the monument the names of the “victims”. The Serbian authorities of the Repulic of Srpska photographed the monument, opening an investigation. So far it has been ascertained that of the 8.000 names on the monument, 6.000 pertain to people who either never existed, or who are very much alive. As for the “victims”, the cemetary contains both Muslim combat troops, as well as Serbian, whom the Muslim authorities exhumed and presented as “Muslim”.

A view of the Balkans
‘AS A BRITISH SOLDIER WHO HAS SERVED widely in Bosnia for seven months now, I feel I must take issue with the nature of the reporting from this region [May 17]. In the case of the Muslim town of Sre¬brenica, your articles have been scath¬ing in denouncing the Bosnian Serbs and their shelling of the town. However, you have failed to address the question of where the Serbian population of Sre¬brenica was. The Serbs made up 30% of its prewar population. Early on in the conflict, they were forced out of their homes with whatever belongings they could carry and ordered to leave. As the Bosnian Serbs fled, Muslims fired wildly on men, women and children on the road. This story was told to British sol¬diers in Srebrenica by Muslims them¬selves and later by Bosnian Serbs. Earli¬er this year, Bosnian Muslims launched their offensive in eastern Bosnia, bomb¬ing Bosnian Serb villages, raping wom¬en and destroying livestock.
I realize that this makes me sound like an apologist for the Bosnian Serbs. I know that what they are doing is terrible. But the press has a moral duty to report objectively. The media are creating a “Let’s do something’, let’s bomb the Serbs; let’s arm the Muslims” rhetoric that is very dangerous. We in Europe un¬derstand the Balkan chicanery and cun¬ning far better than Americans do. We do not want to see ourselves further em-broiled in a morass when there is no one side that is uniquely culpable. A British soldier sees the bodies of three Croat children who have had their throats cut by Muslim soldiers. Does he want to see those Muslims with bigger and better weapons? Please be more objective.

I really miss Edward S. Herman, the truth-teller. He and his colleagues exposed the truth of the Rwanda genocide, too, to no avail, as the lying presstitute vermin of the Western ‘Free Press’ kept on lying, and lying, and lying….And not to forget his and Chomsky’s great work, ‘Manufacturing Consent’, describing the reality of the Western media as a propaganda system for the Western capitalist ubermenschen.
Some 15 or so years ago, a dutch “researcher” showed up at the Netherlands’ cultural or antiquities centre in Athens to bear vitness about the mental sufferings of the dutch UN contingencu members who had to evacuate from Srebrinica even though they felt some unspeakable and horrifying even was abreast and soon to happen.
Conveniently his dutch treat for us also included holding forth the Hague Tribunal’s findings and judgements. We started counting all the exhumed victims who were mentioned but not enumerated and could read and see thet heir numbers must have been far inferior to the about eight thousand claimed.
When we returned to his lodgings with the reports &caetera, we were told he had left for a few daus but that he had asked the hostel to receive and safekeep the documentation that he would come and fetch later.
In the mid 90ies I taught a local Nordic language to some three classes (sixty students) of refuees frpf all athnicities and creeds of Bosnia-Hertzegovia. None of them were willing to put any faith in the horror stories of Srebrenica as they were told.
Srebrenica — what’s in a name?
Tollef Ås / 丘不如/Qiū Bù’rú
Srebrenica means “Silver Town”. The name is Serbian. During the Middle Ages silver was mined in the town.
Silver was mined there during the Roman period .
The name is bosnian
No its Serbo-Croatian
Where is Srebrenica? In Bosnia & Hercegovina or in “Serbo-Croatia”?
Thus the name is Bosnian, you like it or not!
Behind the above comments all of Serbian crazy nationalist I see one permanent intention of denying my land the right of existence. Als if someone asks them! It has started in the time of Balkan wars, wich were irredentistic and chauvinistic. Serbia and Croatia just want to take a part of our territory not understanding that their problem are the people, wich is permanently shrinking and not the territory, there is more than enough of it for what is rest left.
The earliest reference to the name Srebrenica was in 1376. The Ottomans came hundred years latte. There are many loanwords from different languages, reflecting cultural interaction throughout history, The language was standardized in 1830 by Ljudevit and Karadjic. Nationalism is a virus that NATO used so you could kill each other. Look what it gave you
Globalization you love
You want your “place in the sun’
To justify NATO’s crimes
You sell your brothers for a dime
Soros, NATO and the NGO’s
You forgive your ever-present foe
Part of Europe you will be
You forget honor and dignity
…Bosnia existed before Ottomans came to Balkan. And, what Bosnia or Bosnians have to do with Ottomans? Bosniaks are Slavic people. Srebrenica is in Bosnia. So, it is Bosnian town.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Bosnia
Fact: Srebrenica is part of the Rebublika Srpska! The language is Serbo-Croatian.
“Bosnian” is not a language. The people in Bosnia speak Serbo-Croat with a different dialect, just like the people in South America speak different dialects of Castilian Spanish.
Before 1995, there was only Bosnia. In 1995 in Dayton, USA, the agreement was made where Serb from Bosnia got autonomy over the territory which got name Republica Srbska.
It has been Bosnian Slavic language for centuries. You like it or not. You have right to can deny it but it doesn’t change the facts.

Almost every media outlet in United States parrots that America must protect its citizens from a court that would not observe such basic rights as trial by a jury of one’s peers, protection from double jeopardy, and the right to confront one’s accusers.
Article in the media give this as a reason America should be exempt from the rules of ICC and yet it supports and finances ad hoc tribunals for others. The example in question is the ICTY. This tribunal as far as I can see was a lynching, a political tool of NATO, and the very thing American Media object to in article after article.
Some Americans of today see themselves as “Kulturträger“in the same way as some Britons saw themselves in the 19th century and some Germans and Japanese saw themselves in the 20th century.
Americans see themselves as a bastion of democracy and above the rabble of the other continents. They believe that they saved the world for democracy after both WWI and WWII. Therefore, they see it as their right to make rules for others. Fed by years of sitcoms like “Father Knows Best” and other mindless nighttime shows produced to dull their mental processes.
The media tells the American public that their cause is just. Cecil Rhodes, the British imperialist, at the end of the 19th century believed that if he could colonize the moon he would and in the end the world would be a better place. The same kind of thinking was expressed by former war criminal British Prime Minister Blair and the “rabid attack dog” Robinson the 10th Secretary General of NATO.
In the 20th century most Europeans and others saw America as the protector of democracy. Our grandfathers, elderly uncles and other relatives came back from America with pockets full of money and we saw through them the land of “milk and honey”. Very few of us asked them how they earned that money.
We believed that the streets in America were paved with gold. We did not see that they earned this through backbreaking work in mines, forests and sweatshops. When they attempted to improve their working conditions by forming unions or speaking out they were seen as enemy aliens and told that, “No goddamn DP” is going to tell us how to run our affairs” or they were told to, “go back where they came from”, or were gathered by the FBI and deported, or lynched like Sacco and Vanzetti in similar trials in America.
In order to become good citizens and accepted and not on the next boat back to where you came from some learned to be silent Americans. The herd mentality, and cheerleading has become a way of life in America particularly when America is under attack or when America does to others what they would consider a crime if it was done to them.
The media and those who parrot Pentagons policies exclude the common man. The political process also excludes the common man. Common man has no opportunity to change the status quo since the rules are stacked against any political alternatives. Over 50% of Americans refuse to vote because they are not represented by the policies of the Democrats or the Republicans. If the economy is not doing well this silent 50% might start marching in the streets. To keep them silent the government has food stamps and welfare programs for those in dire need. To keep others employed NATO needs wars, and puppets to buy their weapons that they service. To save NATO, Yugoslavia was invented, terrorism sold likr Pepsi with the twin towers, by the media and Iraq was placed on the plate followed by almost every middle East nation. War and conflict are a form of diversion from scandals as well as the grease of the economy.
At present the American economy needs diversion and more grease. I am appalled that the war makers are stirring the pot in Iran, China, Russia Venezuela and just about everywhere where people just seek to feed their families.
Some might ask what is my point? The point is that many Americans are conditioned to think that they will save the world for democracy. This thinking comes from John Wayne movies, the Red Scare, and the propaganda of the Cold War where issues were presented using fear and justice was on American side. Very few Americans understand their neighbors, much less the Balkans.
America has lost the moral imperative to be the leader or defender of the “Rights of Man” and women. The UN secretary Generals are nothing more than America’s “Uncle Tom”
From the practical point of view, we can’t win the “cynical numbers game” because currently no one will listen.
From the moral point of view, I don’t want us to play that game anyway.
Z, noone is trying to exonerate the Serbs who committed crimes. The difference between genocide and a war crime is a matter of scale, so, numbers DO matter.
Thank you, Stephen Karganovic, for finally calling out the man who was the root cause of the mess in the Balkans: Tito, aka Churchill’s stooge!!
My grandmother told me the home truths about him. How he whitewashed the terrible crimes of Roman Catholics, and that the Yugoslav identity was just a cover. As you pointed out, the West needed the Vatican with a pristine reputation in order to fight the cold war, which they won.
Our leftwing friends need to understand that Tito is not the romantic socialist hero who fought off the Nazis with a multiethnic “Yugoslav” force. It was the Serbian Chetniks who provided the bulk of the resistance against the Nazis. Tito had their leader executed, took his place and re-branded as the “Partisans” with a few token Croats thrown in, to make it look like it was a “Yugoslav” effort. Meanwhile, the Croats, like the Bandera-ites in Ukraine, were actively collaborating with Hitler…
The only purpose of “Yugoslavia”, in addition to white-washing the Vatican, was to incubate the fascist ideologies in order for them to re-appear at a later time when they were needed by the Anglozionists, like right after the Cold War, when the independent state of Croatia reappeared along with the newly created entities, Bosnia and Kosovo.
The fake leftist Tito used banking and IMF credits from his benefactors in the West to keep the country afloat economically which did nothing more than saddle us with debt. We had inflation and unemployment at the same time due to his piss-poor economic management (usually it’s a trade off, it’s either one or the other). Meanwhile he lived a life of opulence , a vain man, loving the attention of being one of the main leaders of the “non-aligned movement”. He never built a lasting viable economic or political model. It was an “apres moi le deluge” attitude. The war in Yugoslavia was his bitter legacy.
He was also the politician who gave the Muslims of Bosnia their own ethnicity , “Bosniaks” and opened the border to allow mass immigration of Albanians into Kosovo. The demographic maps show how the numbers of Albanian, exploded under his rule – a mix of state sponsored sky-high birth rates, immigration of Albanians from Albania and subversive ethnic cleansing of the Orthodox Christian population. Another seed that grew into a full blown conflict after he died.
I traveled extensively on the entire Yugoslav territory in the 1980s…it was a GREAT country…so your comment strikes me as quite fantastic…
The South Slavs are basically one people, speaking a common language, with only religion as a difference and which most Yugoslavs considered useless baggage…
The truth about Yugoslavia is that it was an incredibly successful country…what killed it is the fall of the Soviet Union, which allowed the west’s Fourth Reich to chop up the country exactly as their previous Reich forebears had done…we have seen this also in the Middle East and elsewhere where today’s fascists have been taking advantage of their free hand, post USSR…
Yugoslavia did borrow from the IMF because that was the only game in town…there was no China development bank or BRI…but the Yugoslavs made very good use of those loans establishing the country as an engineering and construction powerhouse…Energoprojekt was among the world’s leaders and built much of the Middle East’s infrastructure…
Now the west has successfully indoctrinated the people of the former great country of Yugoslavia into choosing to become nobodies and servants to the Germans once again…enjoy your delusions and your serfdom…
FB
I will not re-write my entire comment which seems to have gone missing, but I will post the factual information:
Declaration of Independence of Slovenia and Croatia: June 1991. End of SFR Yugoslavia.
NATO attack on Serbia & Montenegro: March 1999. 8 years AFTER SFR Yugoslavia ceased to exist.
The demise of Yugoslavia was not due to outside forces but to the declaration of independence of two of its constituent people (Slovenes and Croats) The narrative of “One Slavic people” wanting to live together is a myth.
Slovenia and Croatia have joined EU and NATO. Montenegro has joined NATO. Perhaps your comment about serfdom should be addressed to them ? Even though the quislings in our government are trying hard to have us recognise Kosovo.and join the West, we are still resisting!
Is that why there is so much nostalgia for Yugoslavia among all the former constituent populations…because the one people idea is a ‘myth’…?
If America could become a melting pot of Anglos, Germans, Irish and Italians…then certainly Yugoslavia would be much more so by today…in 1990 the country needed just one more generation to become irreversibly cohesive…but it was the west that broke the country up…with the help of hotheads and ‘nationalists’ on each side…
Like I said I saw what the WHOLE country was like in the mid 1980s and how many young people intermarried, or were themselves from a ‘mixed’ marriage…ethnicity wasn’t even an issue…if someone had told me then that the republics would be at war with one another in five years, I would have said ‘you’re crazy’…
As for all those political groupings you mentioned, they make no more sense than the Austro-Hungarian empire that proceeded it…and was likewise forced on the people…as soon as the USSR was out of the way…
Every country has ethnic and religious groups…it doesn’t mean that a divorce is inevitable…and families can be wrecked by outsiders…and many have…your whole narrative is ridiculous…
Every year, on Aug 4th, Croatia celebrates “victory and thanksgiving day” which is the day NATO launched Operation Storm and ethnically cleansed 200,000 Orthodox Christians from the Krajina region. Does this look like “nostalgia” to you?
You are wrong about the whole country being like that as in Kosovo there was terror attacks back in the 1980’s. The Yugoslav government had to send forces down there due to the Albanian riots.
Even U.S. newspapers wrote about the Serb population leaving, nuns being raped, farmers being attacked, etc.
And in Bosnia there was a trial for Alija Izetbegovic and many other of his followers for plotted against Yugoslavia. He was sentenced to jail in 1983 for 13 years but let out in about 5 or 6.
Croats hijacked a TWA plane in the U.S. calling for Croatia’s independence. They also set off bombs in New York killing a police officer. They were regularly attacking Yugoslav Embassies and officials around the world.
Tito had UDBA which was assassinating Yugoslavs abroad.
And the majority of Croats and Slovenes in recent poles shows they are glad to be independent of Yugoslavia.
Croats and Slovenes are NOT Yugo-nostalgic.
One reason some Serbs are is because things have become so much worse DUE TO SANCTIONS, being demonized, being bombed and have a sell-out puppet government.
It is heavy anti-Serb western meddling – when, without that abuse, Serbia would be doing so much better as an independent country.
And if they were so happy in Yugoslavia, then why were they so QUICK to push for “independence”?
Fact is THERE WAS NEVER ANY TRUE LOYALTY among the peoples; they never fought a war united.
It was a country cobbled together of ENEMIES. The non-Serbs were doing the bidding of the Axis powers in WWI and killing Serbs; in WWII the Croats in the Kingdom/Yugoslav army betrayed it from within – gave info to the Germans, sabotaged the equipment, helped Germans round up Serb soldiers (and laughed about it, according to Ruth Mitchell, an American spy who was there at the time); then they were all quick to start murdering Serbs when the 90’s war began.
Croatia’s President Franjo Tudjman was inviting back old death camp commanders, such as Dinko Sakic to come back to Croatia. And many old Ustasha and their sons and grandsons did.
@FB
You “saw in 1980′ “?!
And how about us who lived in Yugoslavia our lives for decades and whose parents lived through 2 civil wars (one in 1941-45 and another started in 1991)?
Any chance that we can know little bit better than you?
Some old Serbs who were lucky to survive 1941-45 Ustashe were killed in the last war by Croat army during “Storm” offensive. They were killed on their doorstep. They were guilty for being born Serbs and not abandoning their homes.
You presentation of Yugoslavia is old propaganda formula that is more than dead long time ago ( if ever was live.. ) .
Just yesterday I saw young Croat with Ustasha T-shirt here in Croatia…
Can you see any pro-NAZI dressed folks on the street where you are?
I doubt that very much!
And all this situation is product of Vatican (Germany) and NATO anti-Serb policy.
What are they starting in Ukraine against Orthodox now.. They have started that against Serbs long time ago.
Yugoslavia was falsehood from the start.
Started and supported by Croat false pan-Slavic ideology.
The real objective of that false ideology was just to get their independence form Austro-Hungarian Empire (on the cheap). Through sovereign and victorious Serbia.
Everything worked perfectly for them. And royal Serb family who actually crated Yugoslavia were proved to be traitors of the Serbs ever since (by history) . And they still are.
Legacy of Yugoslavia = ripped up Kosovo with “Vojvodina” in cue , several civil wars, millions of dead Serbs for nothing called “Yugoslavia” and Vatican-NATO stigmatization of Serbs.
In WW1 Serbs died in huge numbers to give Slovenia and Croatia independence for free and to preserve them from paying any war reparations to Serbs for all the crimes and destruction they have committed against Serbs during 2 World Wars while fighting on losing German side.
Why Churchill have had directly supported Croat communist Tito and communist partisans and abandoned democratic movement of Serb, pro-Yugoslavia Chetnik’s ?
Why was Margaret Thatcher on Tito’s funeral?
When we know that both Churchill & Thatcher were huge anti-communists.
Why did the Serbs had to take a Croat as their (communist) dictator after genocide committed by Croat “NDH” fascists?
Somebody wanted creation of communist Yugoslavia and Serbs under submission of Croat communist dictator.
The very idea of all that was to brake small and courageous nation of Serbs by different more perfidious methods.
And major instrument of that ploy was always (right out of the cuckoo’s nest ) idea of “Yugoslavia” (and Croat dictator as executioner on the top).
What was there to “fraternize” in “Yugoslavia” with the Croats, after the genocide against Serbs in 1941-45 ?!?
Serbs were victims ( just like Russians ) of the communist Yugoslav = internationalist ideas that have backfired on Serbs very, very hard.
To the point that we will never recover from “Yugoslavia” and evil poison that has brought upon us.
Even today Serb ethnic fiber is being destroyed by that monstrosity.
BTW not to be labeled as Serb “fascist”.
*Serb (pro-Yugoslav) Chetnik’s have killed my grandfather for being communist (partisan).
Ustashe on their turn have killed my grand-grandfather and burned the house.
“The demise of Yugoslavia was not due to outside forces”… With all due respect, and nontwithstanding there have always been a certain amount of ethnic tensions in the region, I would suggest reading the below attached and see if you still hold the same opinion after doing so.

@J-P,
So it was the financial attack on SFR Yugoslavia that somehow “made” Slovenia and Croatia declare independence in 1991.
So why aren’t people in Venezuela or Iran declaring independence.. aren’t they’re also under financial attack?
The truth is Slovenia and Croatia left because they wanted to. Stop trying to find excuses.
Back in the 1980s, western newspapers, including The New York Times, were reporting on Albanian violence in Kosmet. The ethnic Serb population was being gradually ethnically cleansed there in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Tito himself never expected Yugoslavia to last after his death and his governments changes in the constitution in 1974 did help set up Yugoslavia fore eventually disintegration.
The Yugoslav government carved autonomous areas out of Serbia – but not the other Republics. The Albanians were also sabotaging the utilities in Kosovo. Former electrical engineers gave interviews with Jared Israel on how they were always going to Kosovo to fix the destruction by the Albanians.
You also had Alija Izetbegovic and his group who were arrested and trialed in the early 1980’s – they were seeking help from Islamic countries and even noted terrorist groups against Yugoslavia.
He was sentenced to 13 years in jail but got out in about 6.
He and the others formed the political party which took BiH to war.
In the 1970’s you had the “Croatian Spring” while Croat terrorists abroad were bombing trains, planes, and assassinating Yugoslav Embassy staff.
Meanwhile Tito and his Communists usurped the homes and property of the well-off Serbs of Belgrade and they ended up fleeing to Canada, U.S. and other countries.
The communists also massacred up to a quarter million AFTER the end of WWII. The only reason they stopped according to Djilas (Tito’s Montenegrin torturer-killer) was that it wasn’t having any effect.
There were a HUGE number of gastarbreiters (sp?) from Yugoslavia who were working in Germany and abroad because THERE WASN’T ENOUGH JOBS for the people even then.
The “architecture” during that time was ugly and still scars many of the cities. It is depressing concrete blocks.
The government also moved many industries started and developed in Serbia to Slovenia and Croatia. There was a policy of “weak Serbia, strong Yugoslavia”.
It allowed a large number of Albanians from Albania to migrate into Kosovo and other parts of Yugoslavia.
Serbia is dealing with a horrible legacy from Tito times.

Very good comment, agree 100 %.
I have believed for a very long time there was NO Srebrenica massacre, most of the dead were probably Bosnian Muslim Army troops killed trying to break out through Serb lines,i live in Britain and for years we had it 24/7, 8000 men and boys had been butchered Nazi style by the Serbs,i didn’t buy it then and i don’t now,the Town was the stronghold of Naser Oric and his band of savages, they had been attacking serb villages in the area, thats why the Bosnian Serb Army under General Mladic attacked, they wanted Oric but the rat had run away, also if 8000 people have been executed there would be mass graves.
There is a mass grave.
https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comments/8xvs4e/today_marks_23_years_since_the_srebrenica/
with names, you cannot fake this,…come to Srebrenica, Bosnia, and see for yourself
https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-srebrenica-potocari-genocide-cemetery-bosnia-and-herzegovina-127215016.html
You post photos of a CEMETERY, not a “mass grave”. Those were the remains of their soldiers who died throughout the war, dug up from all over Eastern BiH, and then brought there for show.
They also bury those who died from infighting, mafia murders, mine accidents, and even natural causes.
You do need autopsy reports and military records to establish how and when they died. Dutch soldiers didn’t see any killing by Serbs nor come across any bodies in Srebrenica after the fall – except their own soldier who was killed by a Bosnian Muslim during the fall, and a civilian who was run over by a Dutch vehicle.
‘….you cannot fake it’??!! Funniest thing I’ve seen for a long while.
There is ! Open your eyes . Maybe you can’t handle the truth !
Srebrenica is one leg of the “responsibility to protect” scam. The other is Rwanda. Libya was the second attack based on that doctrine. Haiti (2004) was the first.
The (b)Ugandan army invaded Rwanda on 1 October 1990. The (b)Ugandan soldiers were primarily the descendants of baTúutsi feudal aristocrat refugees; the baHutu were the serfs, prior to the 1959 revolution. In the course of the revolution, about 20 000 baTúutsi were murdered, and 120 000 fled to neighboring countries, especially buRundi (the languages constitute a dialect continuum—Rwandans often have the suffix -mana at the end of their surnames, which does not occur in kiRundi), Congo Kinshasa (especially the neighboring Kivus), (b)Uganda, and Tanzania.
The Rwandan baTúutsi refugees largely wanted revenge, and would thus reenter Rwanda in teams of six or twelve, commit terror acts against baHutu peasants, and flee back to their countries of refuge. They called themselves “inyenzi” (cockroaches, although I have been told by a Kagame-supporting baTúutsi that the name was an initialism). See Lemarchand’s Rwanda and Burundi, published in 1970 (one chapter title is “Inyenzi at the Gates”).
On 29 September 1990, Rwandan president Habyarimana offered passports and de facto right of return to all Rwandan refugees living abroad, especially those from the 1959 revolution. Two days later he got his response, the (b)Ugandan invasion. baTúutsi refugees were an integral part of the power structure behind Yoweri Museveni.
The (b)Ugandan army, operating under the name “Rwandan Patriotic Army” (despite not removing their (b)Ugandan uniforms), conducted massacres throughout their occupation of Rwanda, through their seizure of power, and plausibly to the present. While baHutu militias (many operating under the appropriated name of—baTúutsi—Robert Kajuga’s interahamwe, as admitted by peacekeepers at the Military II trial) are notorious for the use of machetes in massacres, the (b)Ugandans would crush the sculls of baHutu with hoes. See e.g. Judy Rever’s In Praise of Blood. Both groups preferred the use of firearms, and the (b)Ugandans would often throw handgrenades into homes.
Rever largely holds to the party line in terms of balance of crimes and scale. This is presumably necessary to get published. Yet she cites the right authors to debunk the party line, e.g. Christopher Black, Robin Philpot and Peter Erlinder; she slips only Herman and Peterson (Enduring Lies). What is remarkable about such citations is that it suggests real courage, not only on the part of Rever, but also on the part of Random House Penguin.
The 1991 census indicated 600 000 baTúutsi (feudal aristocracies are invariably minorities). The Kagame linked genocide remembrance organization IBUKA estimates 400 000 to 500 000 surviving baTúutsi. An exercise in arithmetic (the official death toll is 800 000 to 1 200 000 dead) suggests itself in regards ethnic composition of the dead. Then one may ask who perpetrated the bulk of the murders.
The final leg of the genocide narrative (Dallaire’s alleged warning was debunked at the Military II trial—Gourevitch’s fax was a fraud, sent from a British military base, in 1995 iirc) is the genocide radio broadcasts (RTLM). This is a reading exercise—the transcripts are available online.
The first use of the R2P doctrine was the 2004 invasion of Haiti. A good introduction is Kevin Pina’s documentary, “Haiti: We Must Kill the Bandits”.
As the democratically elected government was under a firearms importation ban (allegedly aimed at the Cedras junta, but only enforced upon Arestide’s return), and as the personnel of the Cedras junta were (child) rapists and cocaine traders par excellence, much of the weapons ended up in the hands of street gangs, and the 2004 invasion lead to an epidemic of child rape.
Before the invasion started, former Gonaives police chief turned international cocaine trader, Guy Phillipe, took over leadership of the Gonaives street gang, Cannibal Army, after its former leader had been killed by another gang.
Due to gangs having more firepower than the police, the police had previously negotiated truces with gangs; those gangs that agreed to truces were referred to as Arestide supporters, and those that refused as opposition, by the EuroAtlantic financial press (e.g. Economist).
Both the Cannibal Army and the gang that killed the former’s leader were part of the truce. The killing was spinned as “Arestide killing his own supporters”. The Cannibal Army was then (under Guy Phillipe’s leadership) renamed several times, eventually settling on “National Revolutionary Front for the Liberation of Haiti”. They also launched attacks on the Gonaives police.
The Gonaives police started to fight back. Eventually they started to win. At that point, US and Canadian special forces kidnapped Arestide at gun point, and held him hostage for several years in the Central African Republic (sic).
With Arestide gone, the occupation forces elected to charge former Haitian prime minister Yvon Neptune with genocide, in the matter of 45 (iirc) deaths of gangsters that had died in a shootout, on account of the financial press theory of what constituted opposition and government supporters. Yvon Neptune was held in pretrial detention for two years.
To the credit of the occupation law courts, the case was laughed out of court.
I see no reason to dig up the remains of Jasenovac victims. almost all the executions are documented, and even some are photographed. Of course you do not want to look at them. in that genocide there were only no documented executions of Gypsies, they were not considered worthy of being recorded. I think the number of Gypsy victims is somewhat below 150000 per private investigation. hundreds of thousands of Serbs, gypsies and Croat communists shared a common destiny in that death camp. a part of local politicians whose neighbors and relatives serving in the NDH want to reduce the number of victims for political purposes and perhaps in (only) some individual cases are right because no one can prove the permanent number of residents in some areas except the census from Austro-Hungary or the kingdom of SHS . but, any reduction in the number of victims can not change the status of the Jasenovac death camp.
Gypsies were not always so innocent. In the recent war in BiH, they tended to fight on the Bosnian Muslim side and were involved in crimes against Serbs. I’ve noticed that some of them deported from the U.S. do look like Roma.
Plus, Fitzroy MacLean, who was sent to occupied Yugoslavia by Churchill and was already geared to favor Tito (though at the end of the book he talks about how Tito tricked him/them) mentions atrocities by “gyspy Muslims” in his book “Eastern Approaches”.
Growing up my father who is half Croatian / Slovenian and lived by the Sava River never stopped talking politics which drove my mom nuts. He always used the word ‘propaganda’ to describe all the insanity and once as a young man I tried discussing with him the brutalities of the war years and mentioned the ustashi, he stopped me and said please stop talking like this and crying said or I’ll find you dead somewhere.
For a first hand account of the many atrocities of the 1990’s might I suggest the testimony of someone who was there Dr. Peter Kuzmic.
https://youtu.be/OkKjT8IRY0U
Here is some background info on Peter Kuzmic, “who was there” (as were many others btw):
He is the chairman of the Theological Commission of the World Evangelical Fellowship, and this particular video was made with Yale Divinity School and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation..(listed in the credits at the start)….
I tried to be open minded and actually listened to the first half. The interviewer consistently mispronounces the word “Bosniac” ..which is distracting and made me wonder about his “expertise” …As for the content, it appeared to me to pseudo-intellectual anti-Serb and anti-Orthodox propaganda. Perhaps there are more redeeming features in the second half, but I didn’t get that far…
@ Serbian girl
I personally met the man and can attest to his character and his devotion to Christ Jesus. Further in Vukovar he was in a church during the shelling with some Moslems and tried escaping in to the cellar which required going outside which was a no go. As he stated you couldn’t believe what was going on in that apocalyptic moment with all the shelling and thunder rain hail etc and as he and those with him prayed for protection he prayed to our Lord ‘outside they hate and kill each other but in your church they hug and kiss each other.’ He lived/experienced the hell as an eye witness.
You know what everyone needs an experience similar to what Moses went through in that testimony of his about God was angry enough to kill him. It is long past time for people Catholic, Orthodox, Evangelical or what have you to experience an angry God and given what has been happening in Texas and Oklahoma maybe that day is finally approaching or here already. You did know that climate change is the work of God Serbian girl? Right?
If not might I suggest the author and evangelical Gerry Fox and his book Climate Change the Work of God. Believe me after reading that book you will never be the same.
@Serbian Girl: “the World Evangelical Fellowship …and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation.”
Backwoods U$ religious nuts making a video with credits to the ultimate British hypocrite with blood on his hands and money in his pocket. Like the Bush and Blair show which killed a million Iraqi and put $100 million in BLiar’s bank account. They prayed together in public.
One of the many confirmations that Srebenica was the opening shot in the AZC War against Humanity which we are see today spreading across the globe: Srebenica, Kosovo, Ruanda, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Haiti, Libya and Venezuela — with Iran, Russia and China in their bombsights. These money-crazed fake-religious blood-suckers must be stopped before their nuclear weapons bring the Armageddon they so obviously thirst for.
Dr N.G Maroudas,
Lol, perfect just perfect.
You know I asked my Croatian father about Fox’s book on climate change and it caused him to reflect some and then blurted out to me why is it so quiet here on North Vancouver Island? He said growing up in Croatia it was always noisy. It never stopped the thundering, winds, hard rain hail etc. etc.? He said here nothing quiet all the time except for lots of rain. I sat and listened to him complain about the hard life he lived over there, and it reminded me of a very humbling experience?
It occurred when I attended a prayer conference and had the distinct pleasure of meeting an expat Romanian who was guest speaker. He had a testimony about life in Romania under Ceausescu.
He had been a pastor and suffered for his faith terribly so. Broken bones from beatings imprisonment and torture the likes of which I never thought existed in this modern-day age.
He was exiled from his homeland and we in the west benefited from it. What he said during his testimony however caught my attention when he told us about getting out of prison, he heard about some fellow believers who had been abandoned in some box canyon. Left there to suffer and die ultimately from starvation. Upon hearing about their fate, he gathered up some friends and supplies and was going to save these people. Upon travelling into the box canyon, he said the soldiers had heard about it and were in hot pursuit and Dimitri knew that once he reached these poor people, they would all be killed. He relayed a most astonishing account about how as they neared the people a light rain began to fall. As they got closer to the people, they could hear the soldiers in their vehicles approaching quickly and were much afraid of the outcome. As they got closer to the people, however, the weather changed behind them. It started to rain harder and as the soldiers entered the rainstorm it started to hail over them to the extant that it became impossible for them to continue. They were receiving a beating and were forced to turn around and fled. I sat there smiling hearing this testimony and Dimitri further said that it continued to rain lightly over them, and they were saved from the soldier’s bullets. I sat there amazed at his testimony and wanted and received a private audience with this man. To say it was a humbling experience to meet him is an understatement and one in which I will forever cherish. What gets me though and it hurts is of all the things this man asked of me it was for bibles! Bibles for his people back in Romania because they didn’t have any or enough to go around and what they did have were rendered just pieces. I was speechless for a moment and told him I couldn’t help him but the people responsible for the Prayer conference would give him and his people all the bibles they could possible need. Some time later back home I saw a picture of him and Dr. Mary Stewart Relfe holding in his hands hundreds of freshly minted Romanian bibles with a terribly big smile on his face that spoke volumes. Tears flowed then as they do now.
If ever there was a holocaust for me, it would have to be Romania and what occurred there. Just the orphanages were a horror unspeakable.
Bibles? That’s all this man wanted for his people bibles. Yes, I say too myself now as I look and watch the world of religion jumping on the bandwagon that climate change is the result of industrial pollution, what a crock of Shite as the British are wanting to say and its cost in the hundreds of billions? Tell me Dr N.G Maroudas will anyone get around to reading and paying attention to the bible?
As for Gerry Fox the German and Russian people should be thankful for a man like him who has singlehandedly destroyed the teaching that Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38 and 39 are those nations.
You would do well to read his treatise on the subject Lies, all Lies as well as climate change!\
As for Blair lol can’t begin to imagine the look on his face upon learning or reading the bible and what it has to say on the subject of climate change.
Another thing you forgot to mention is that the entire command of Srebrenica, including Naser Oric, had left Srebrenica 3 months before the fall (in April 1995) and none of them bothered to come back.
Removing the top command permanently was a sign that the arranged fall was already taking place.
And former Srebrenica soldiers themselves say they were ORDERED of their “strong defenses all around” Srebrenica the day before.
The men were ordered by their brigade commanders and told to gather in a certain place (which was in Srebrenica’s north).
The UN, which had many posts next to the Bosniaks’, ALSO left their stations. It was while this was happening that the ONLY DUTCH SOLDIER TO DIE DURING THE FALL WAS KILLED BY A BOSNIAK SOLDIER.
Apparently the soldier was angry about the Dutch soldiers evacuating, yet the much larger Bosnian Muslim forces were doing the same.
Another thing: the Dutch soldiers did not witness any killings by the Serbs nor did they notice any dead bodies. Nor did all the reporters who were in Srebrenica during the fall.
NATO planes and drones did not spot any killings or dead bodies and they had full control of the airspace on those clear, long sunny summer days.
They are digging up soldiers who died from the entire war and are adding those from 12 municipalities besides Srebrenica.
For example, they are also counting the Zepa dead, when Zepa was a separate town to the south and where Bosniak soldiers were also stationed.
Don’t know how many soldiers were stationed in Zepa – it wasn’t as many as Srebrenica – but was probably at least a few thousand.
Serbs have evidence and names of Muslims who died before July 1995 but are buried at Potocari. They even note that the remains of those who died LONG before the war are dug up from cemeteries and reburied at Potocari. For example:
In the first burial carried out on 31th March 2003. from the graveyard Kazani the body of Hamed (Hamid) Halilović (1940-1982) was transferred to the Memorial center Potočari and buried again. The issue is, as we can see, the person who died 20 years before the beginning of the war.
So they have a person who died in 1982 at the Potocari cemetary.
Here some more they are transferring from other cemeteries to Potocari:
During the fourth burial on 11 th July 2004 from the same graveyard bodies of one old civillian, died before the war, and of one fighter from the B&H Army were transferred. Those are: (Ibro) Halilović (1912-1989) and Nurija (Smajo) Memišević (1966-1993)
From the fifth burial of 11. 07. 2005:
Salih (Šaban) Alić (1969-1992)
Mujo (Hašim) Hadžić (1954-1993)
Ferid (Ramo) Mustafić (1975-1993)
Hajrudin (Ismet) Cvrk (1974-1992)
There’s also pages of many more names here: http://www.serb-victims.org/en/content/view/198/29/
This is just the start: Hajrudin (Nurija) Osmanović, Šaban (Salko) Omerović, Rešid (Rašo) Salihović, Meho (Alija) Šehić, Mujić (Rizvan) Ibro – 1952., Sućeska-Srebrenica, Mehmed (Meho) Hodžić, 1960; Hafizović (Ibrahim) Hajrulah – 1973, Opetci-Srebrenica Ismet (Šahmin) Huseinović, 1947; Mujo (Avdo) Ahmetović, 1970. The Saker
” It could safely be assumed that under Tito’s rule Jasenovac and all its implications would be swept under the rug, which is exactly what happened.”
I have heard this said by others lately but I never got the impression that this was the case. In his book about Jasenovac “The Vatican’s Holocaust”, Avro Mahnattan clearly acknowledged, among others,” The Government of the Federal Peoples Republic of Yugoslavia, under Marshal Tito.” So there was no attempt by the communist regime to hide any of the facts about these events. Presumably the Croats would claim otherwise, that the communists in fact exaggerated it.
Yes, but the book ” Magnum Crimen” , written by a former Cathic priest, Viktor Novak, which details the Vatican’s crimes was censored by the Communist leadership.
http://www.politika.rs/scc/clanak/212540/Magnum-crimen-ipak-putuje-u-svet
(See final paragraph).
Two chapters were removed at the behest of two communist leaders close to Tito. Btw, this book is still prohibited by the Vatican.
Luckily the missing chapters were found a few years ago and were included in the recently printed first English edition.
Dear Stephen Karganovic, you are absolutely right: Srebrenica is a fraud.
