first of all, I would like to comment on this audience. Lately I read that this man, Hassan Nasrallah who is an all important person, is probably very carefully guarded. So this audience, which is not huge, although the building or tent, is full, is a very elite audience I suppose.
So, this is a funeral / memorial talk about that top Hezbollah General that was assassinated in the last days. So sad. This audience is fairly elderly. Nice.
I don’t think it is the full speech and/or I don’t think it is his audience. This is what shown on PressTV with instant translation.
The Manar TV had his full speech in Arabic. He is usually shown on a very, very large TV and the audience is very, very large too and very lively.
The Shia are in mourning since last Thursday and it will last until this Friday, called Ashura (10th). And, will continue on for 40 more days and will end on Arbaeen (40th).
Saker has covered it on his blog, but I am not very good on search. Basically, he covered the following article from Huffingtonoost called:
World’s Biggest Pilgrimage Now Underway, And Why You’ve Never Heard of it!
What is the significance of this mourning? Basically, Imam Hussain (as) is the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (saws). Both Sunni and Shia believe that he is the Leader of Youth in Heaven. However, this Leader of Youth was massacred by the sixth Caliph, who was appointed by his father. Within 50 years of Prophet’s death, a total genocide was committed to Prophet’s family by this sixth Caliph.
Go figure, all these Caliphs and Leader are appointed by The Will of Allah!
What? Not his real audience? Have we been gamed? I’m still interested in knowing if his real audience were also women. He did say “brothers and sisters.” I assumed he was talking to the women at home via TV. I don’t know. Who would want to substitute a fake audience for a real one?
Your name reminds me of someone called, “Timothy Leary”. Talking about Florida, as a young student of 20 years old, I landed in Miami. Those were the days of “Love”, as love was everywhere. All the hippies were camped out in Miami in response to Nixon Republican Convention of 1972.
Then we grew up and sold out. I realized all that rage was against the self survival in response to draft. Roger Daltrey doing TV commercials for American Express. Sir Paul McCarty got knighted. Even Ozzy Osbourne got invited to White House by Dubya Bush….
The real ones died early due to rage, such as Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix….. There are very few left true to the genre, such as Roger Waters.
As a Shia, I had heard of Hassan Nasrallah, but due to resistance, I didn’t know him. It is Brother Saker, on this blog who introduced me to Hassan Nasrallah, for which I am indebted to Saker.
These are mourning days for Shia, especially the first 10 days. I hope that you had the time to look at the Huffingtonpost link which I posted above. Everyone is dressed in mourning black, both men and women cry like babies. The genders are in separate tents. Almost everyone, especially the children have a bandanna on their heads which reads, “Labaik Ya Hussain”, which literally means, “At Your Service O’ Hussain” and the true meaning is that we are against “Oppression and Tyrants, just like you were O’ Hussain”.
God tells Adam not to go near the tree, least that you become an oppressor. The tree didn’t have any significant, and Adam did approach the tree as planned and he deified God’s Command. No biggie, we all do it on a daily basis. The central theme of the Holy Quran is that man is a oppressor and she/he should be very careful not to oppress others.
The Greek/Romans have changed God’s issue into gender. They have turned the issue into, “Who is God” rather than “What is God’. Please see my reply below to you in this regard. Just like you sometimes close with poetry, I will close will poetry too.
I close my eyes only for a moment, and the moment’s gone. All my dreams pass before my eyes, a curiosity. Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind (Kansas).
Peace, Brother Mohamed. Thanks for the personal history. I didn’t follow the Huntington Post link. I thought you were playing with the spelling. But I will go back and pick up the track. Your link here to Labaik Ya Hussain didn’t go anywhere. I’ll search for your take on the fake audience question if you addressed it. I’m ignorant about the Koran and Islam in general so your posts are remedial education for me.
LOL. Remedial education. I hope you must have now read the Judeo-Christian thingy posted by Carmel by the Sea. Another fake thingy is “Abrahamic Religion”, which leaves out half of the world population. But then you preach the fake love.
You seems not be a good reader. I have already answered you twice about the audience in the video. Now, please read my lips.
Hezbollah owns the Manar TV, which is in Arabic. The above speech of Nasrallah was on Manar TV and it included the mourning ceremony of Imam Hussain (as). The audience was very, very lively. Everyone was dressed in black mourning clothes and very responsive, chanting Labaik Ya Hussain, Labaik Ya Mohammad and Labaik Ya Allah.
The video Saker posted above is from Press TV, which is from Iran and for English speaking audience. It even has the logo of Press TV.
Basically, in the above video Press TV has taken out the religious ceremony part of Hassan Nasrallah speech in regard to Imam Hussain (as). His speech was very, very long, spiritual and full of Ethics.
If you see all the images, you will see that on children’s heads both girls and boys, you will see the bandanna with “Labaik Ya Hussain” in Arabic.
Now, don’t jump on conclusion and indoctrination. The main belief of Shia is standing up against the oppressors and tyrants. The role model is the Grandson of Prophet Mohammad (saws), called Imam Hussain (as) along with his immediate family (men, women and children), stood up against the sixth Caliph of Islam, Yazid (la), who was a great oppressor.
Imam Hussain (as) avoided this, and he left with his family from Mecca/Medina to Iraq. In the deserts of Karbala, Iraq his small craven was surrounded by massive forces of Yazid (la). He was given two choices.
1. Accept Yazid (la) as his Caliph and be part of the Oppression and Corruption.
2. Or choose death for the whole family members.
Some poetry: “The west is the best. The west is the best. Get here, and we’ll do the rest.”
Sorry, I’m a slow learner. Chalk it up to my age of 75. I think I’m up to speed with your references, including the Judeo-Christian one and the Huff Post one. Awesome. Absolute devotion. Rather mind-bending to tell the truth.
Excuse me. I don’t wish to take more of your time but I still don’t understand why PressTV would substitute one audience for another. Is it laziness or convenience? Or some kind of misinformation propaganda? Our signals may be jamming; if so, just shut down on this point and let it rest.
I am 63 and catching up with you too. I don’t know the motives of Press TV. I can only guess and I believe that I have already alluded to this.
The mourning ceremony in general is for Imam Hussain (as) and not for one of the Generals of Hezbollah. All the mourners are dressed in black including the children. You can see that even Hassan Narsallah is dressed in black too. Everybody is red eyes from crying. Both men and women crying like babies.
In this whole speech Hassan Nasrallah spoke about his dead General as he happens to be martyred in these same days. And, Press TV showed just that part, not all the religious mourning and ceremony.
I read somewhere that you like to cry like women, but consider it beneath you. I also read and to quote you, “I’m a self-diagnosed low-grade manic-depressive with schizophrenic and paranoid tendencies, filled with fear and loathing from my upbringing.”
My wife from Dixieland, she hardly cries. I being a Shia cry like a baby all the times. We Shia are disciplined as:
1. To be very logical in our religion.
2. To despise oppression. Especially, not to oppress our family members, our women and children.
3. Mourn about Imam Hussain (as) and his family, by crying like babies.
When I cry like a baby, I then sleep like a baby too. In the morning when I get up, I usually see half-full glass as full glass and not half. It also takes care of my emotions too.
Try it, it could be the cure for your self-diagnosed …..
I also cry all the time, and if something makes me distrust is people not allowing others mourn….
Thank you very much, indeed, for all the information and such beautiful photographs of Oman you left me. Seeing them still have more desire to visit it…..
Happy Ashura, Mohamed.
For you, this videos of Ashura in Yazd ( Iran ). I do not worry if you mourn seeing it because now I know that you will sleep very well :
Yes, Oman is a very beautiful country and we have a very benevolent King. God Bless him and keep his shadow over us for a very, very long time. Amen!
Thanks for posting the Azadari and the people doing Matam in Iran. Ashura (10th) is this Friday, and I am pretty sure that Press TV will cover it all around the world.
Persian (Farsi) is a beautiful language, I can understand it about 50% or less. Though, not able to speak it beside the regular greetings.
Peace, Brother Mohamed. Thanks for the additional information.
I was raised to be a man, not a sissy or cry-baby. I have learned to cry a bit and have on occasions, like today watching a film of Putin, called The President and about this nurse, touched off by my also being a nurse.
I wish I was more of a shia like you and could cry more freely. I am learning to let go, thanks in part to this sweet vineyard.
Hassan Nasrallah audience is there for the mourning ceremony of Imam Hussain (as) and it is not the same audience which gathers for Hezbollah ceremonies.
It is not a fake audience as this speech is broadcast to many such venues on a big screen like you would view a football match. His security is paramount as he is the leader of the resistance and many of he predecessors and hundreds of resistance leaders in Palestine and the rest of the world have been eliminated. Martin Luther King, Malik al Shabbaz (Malcolm X), Steve Biko (South Africa) to name a few. He rarely appears in public and then only for a few minutes, like you would on a phone call if you know that the call is being traced. There is not another man in the world that has attracted more hatred from the Anglo-Zionist empire than him, but let me assure you, the world is waking up and voices of dissent is rising!!!
I have been searching everywhere for this, couldn’t find it, gave up and thought, oh well, too bad, so let’s see the latest at TS. And voila! Thanks very much
agree, interesting to hear him. He did encourage the random stabbings now happening, which shows he is like the sunnis he complains about, sunnis want the infidel shia dead also, makes no difference what the person is actually like. The bigger threat to those who listen to him is disrupted food delivery, which is what is coming. Which is a problem the whole region will find it is not prepared for. Due to my wifes cousins marriage, I know many shia and they are from Iran and of course many that still live there. Despite repeated discussions, I cannot get the iranians to believe israel will attack and they should store food. And they are educated with money, yet, always people think severe trouble is not in ther future.
Ask yourself how many Americans believe nuclear bombs will rain on them if they don’t stop their actions. Not believing bad things can happen to “you”,isn’t confined to Iran.
My sentiments also, except I always come here first. Hasan Nasrallah reminds me of Putin without the clericalism, and of course Putin is a head of state while Nasrallah is part of a movement within a state. Both very intelligent, moral and committed individuals.
As noted in the comment below, this appears to be a select audience. What the comment does not state is that it appears to be all men, even though Hasan speaks of “brothers and sisters.”
Herein lies the rub and the nub of a universal problem: Patriarchy. Let me preface by saying there are good and bad patriarchs, like everywhere else. On the good side, this situation highlights the meme of men protecting women. The women at home are also protecting the men and their children. So you can argue that liberated women in the army and at public gatherings just bring confusion into a traditional system that works. When they’re doing public service, who is tending the children? Men?
Anyway, let that pass. The real manipulator and confuser is patriarchy. So on the bad side we have an all male audience that is patriarchal in form if not substance. But form and language do matter greatly in the information war. The medium is the message.
Let’s cut to the chase. In patriarchy God is the problem. He sits at the top of the information pyramid in both traditional and secular religions. The most important verse in scripture is 1 John 4:8. “God is love; whosoever does not love, does not know God”–or its inverse: “everyone who loves knows God.”
Patriarchy rests its case on such equivocations. Even if this proposition is correct (which it is not IMO) then why not drop the term God entirely and use the word love? Patriarchy and God just confuse the situation. They are interlopers into a natural love culture. I develop these ideas at thelovegovernment.com.
Language always has a hook by reason of is sound and meaning. It is most effective operating below consciousness.
Hasan rightly condemns both the takfiri and the AZ project, although he fails to link the two in this speech. In his vocabulary they are both “entities,” which from a language hook point of view is right on.
He uses the martyr theme which is another ancient and powerful tool extending beyond this life. I was raised Catholic, was a good altarboy and later a priest. I was regaled by stories of martyrs in the Coliseum eaten by lions. The Christian martyrs overcame the Roman empire which then went on to largely co-opt them.
Hezbollah is a movement within a state but what it so far does not realize is that it is serving God just like the state. God, whether secular or religious is the social cohesion of our anti-love culture. My project if I live long enough is to reform culture starting with language. For example, I would rewrite the biblical rewrites of the original love culture by replacing God with Love and Lord with Lover.
The vineyard here strikes me as a very small movement like Hezbollah. It has God as its power source overtly but in its tolerance for opposing points of view, moderated fairly, it espouses love below the conscious level. I’m not sure Hezbollah could tolerate such freedom. It would lose the power of God; and at this point has no alternative source of ultimate power.
Hezbollah is psychologically astute, identifying mechanisms of blackmail and “you-owe me” tricks. However, its reliance overtly is on power language while covertly demonstrating the awesome love of martyrs. The information war is primarily about language. Until we get our priorities straight we are set up for the Roman double-cross trap.
@Leary – I would love to know if you have any western country where “freedom of speech” and “religious tolerance” do exist. Remember the genocides during French Revolution, Bolshevik Revolution, WWI and WWII, were not carried out Muslim clerics like Nasrallah or Khamenei. They’re indirectly supported by Churches and synagogues.
Just three weeks after a million Paris rally in support of Judeo-Christians’ rights to insult Islam and Muslims under the rhetoric of freedom of speech, the European found their own genuine freedom of speech is facing the Organized Jewry’s firing squad.
British Jewish Chronicle, country’s top Israeli propaganda website, reported on January 26, that a panel of European Jewish leaders headed by Israeli professor Yoram Dinstein (Tel Aviv University) and backed by several former EU head of states and governments have proposed that any criticism of Jews, Israel or Holocaust should be banned by the 28-member European Union being an old-fashioned antiemitism.
You make valid points and your links to Julia Boutros and Fairuz are invaluable. You ask if there is any western country where freedom of speech and religious tolerance exist. Yes, of course. In Florida, for example, where the Saker lives and operates although that is changing. I would prefer he do his work from Russia where he would be safer but apparently family obligations preclude that. Anyway, that is none of my business.
Please understand, I am not against good patriarchs and organizations like Hizbollah. They are shining examples and absolutely necessary in this time and circumstance. As the Christian singer, Julia Boutros, says, they are like the Cedars of Lebanon, ironically greatly coveted by Jewish bible writers. BTW, I hope there still are cedars left after the demolitions of patriarchal empires.
I am trying to point out that in every truth and strength there is at least a trace of its opposite. Sort of like the “liar’s paradox.” There is a truth in the statement: I am lying.
Achilles had his heel. All patriarchs, including Hasan Nasrallah, have theirs. If Achilles, who slew Troy’s greatest warrior, Hector, had been wise, he would have worn armor around his heel. But patriarchy, including Achilles, is not wise.
If movements like Hizbollah do not wise up about their vulnerability they will be in danger of death. Leaders like Hasan Nasrallah and Vladimir Putin bear heavy responsibility. Russia’s freedom of speech and religious tolerance is very wise. It has the strength to stand by it as it has demonstrated by putting down threats to its existence. Russia’s Achilles heel is its bankers; whether Putin can protect that heel remains unknown. For those who need sources, scroll down to Sergei ______. Sorry, blocking on his last name, and I don’t want to go looking for it now or I might lose what I’ve written.
I don’t know about Lebanon. Perhaps you can enlighten me. Thanks.
The name is Sergei Glaziev or Glazyev. His long and detailed report was published here on Sept. 28, 2015 with an introduction by the Saker. The Saker added a caution on Sept. 29.
Thanks for educating readers here that “Florida is a country”, and not a state within United States governed under US Constitution.
Now, I know why George Bush couldn’t pronounce the names of capital cities of America’s four Asian and African allies – because Yanks like you only know about beer and baseball.
Lebanon, an ancient beautiful land home to different religions living in peace until the European colonists snatched it from its Mother Syria after WWI and threw to wolves.
OK I stand corrected. Now just switch Florida to the US and nothing changes in my statement. Your ad hominems are reflecting poorly on your true sense of all things beautiful in Lebanon. Let’s just agree to disagree since there is something in me that irritates you. I gave up beer and baseball years ago. I do appreciate your poetic sense, though, in beer and baseball. Cheers. You can’t see it but I love Lebanon.
Though I certainly agree with your very valid and factual points, there is no such thing as “Judeo -Christian”. The so called “Judeo-Christian” is a complete myth. Permit me to explain.
The Myth of a Judeo-Christian Tradition
EXCERPT:
“For scholars of American religion,” Newsweek states, “the idea of a single Judeo-Christian tradition is a made-in-America myth that many of them no longer regard as valid.” It quotes eminent Talmudic scholar Jacob Neusner: “Theologically and historically, there is no such thing as the Judeo-Christian tradition. It’s a secular myth favoured by people who are not really believers themselves.”
Newsweek cites authorities who indicate that “the idea of a common Judeo-Christian tradition first surfaced at the end of the 19th century but did not gain popular support until the 1940s, as part of an American reaction to Nazism . . ,” and concludes that, “Since then, both Jewish and Christian scholars have come to recognize that — geopolitics apart — Judaism and Christianity are different, even rival religions.”
The Jewish scholar Dr. Joseph Klausner in his book Jesus of Nazareth expressed the Judaic viewpoint that “there was something contrary to the world outlook of Israel” in Christ’s teachings, “a new teaching so irreconcilable with the spirit of Judaism, ” containing “within it the germs from which there could and must develop in course of time a non-Jewish and even anti-Jewish teaching.”
Dr. Klausner quotes the outstanding Christian theologian, Adolf Harnack, who in his last work rejected the hypothesis of the Jewish origin of Christ’s doctrine: “Virtually every word He taught is made to be of permanent and universal humanitarian interest. The Messianic features are abolished entirely, and virtually no importance is attached to Judaism in its capacity of Jesus’ environment.”
Gershon Mamlak, an award-winning Jewish Zionist intellectual, recently claimed that the “Jesus tradition” is essentially the ultimate extension of ancient Greek Hellenism and is in direct conflict to Judaism’s “role as the Chosen people”.
Christianity and Judaism are two distinct religious inheritances, despite all the superficial attempts by modern scholars to manufacture a naive “Judeo-Christianity.” The very term “Judeo-Christian” is a mischievous misnomer without historical or Scriptural validity. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article4803.htm
@Carmel by the Sea – As a Catholic Mission graduate, I know the true story behind the so-called “Judeo-Christianity”. But there are 65 million American Evangelists who believe in the term “Judeo-Christianity” including Pope Francis, Archbishop Justin Welby, and US vice-president Joe Biden.
Francis has long declared that “there is a Jew in every Christian.”
That Francis is nuts, if he thinks “there is a Jew in every Christian”.
That was news to me, thank you for the information, as I had no idea he had said that.
Every day I learn and I am thankful for those unexpected teachers that cross my path.
I agree: language advances the actions.
Family, neighbour, acquaintance, and then wider – these are students to direct in effective rhetorique.
Stay the course, DL.
I hope you have seen my above answer in response to your questions. As I said above, the whole issue of God is turned into a gender issue by the Greek/Romans who hijacked the Religion of Jesus.
Muslims like Christians go to religious ceremonies as a family. However, the gender are separated in different places for Muslims, where as in Church the “Boy friend and girl friend” are holding hands. My wife of 40 years who is an ex-WASP from Dixieland tells me that she likes the gender separation in religious ceremonies.
In Semitic religions, God doesn’t have a gender. In Greek/Roman religion God is a Man, and He a Male and a Father. Thus, the Greek/Roman religion relies on “Who is God”, rather than “What is God”.
The two words, al ilah (allah) and eloh is the same word. The Semitic language has 3 short vowels and the same 3 long vowels, where as English has 5 difference vowels. For example, take the word, “Mohamed” and I can see how many different ways it is written in English due to the difference in vowels.
You might be surprised to learn that both ilah and eloh are feminine nouns. God doesn’t have a name, if He did then He will become the property of that people. Even, YHWH is not God’s name, as the Jews still today refuse to insert vowels for G-D.
So, What is God? God is known by His attributes, rather than His gender and name. So, let us look at the first two attributes of ilah (eloh) in the first verse of the Holy Quran.
RHM, all Semitic words are made out of 3 letters root. Very rarely, there are 2 letters and 4 letters roots. An example of two letters root is EL, which is eloh. Thus, Emanuel, “God is with us”. And Isreal, “ever lasting God”. Or Ishmael, “hearing God”.
RHM means, womb where life takes shape. RaHMa means “Mercy” which comes out from the womb. So, the first verse of the Holy Quran is: In the name of al ilah who is RaHMan and RaHiM.
RaHMan is: Unconditional Mercy/Love like a Mother who loves all her pups.
RaHiM is : Eternal Mercy/Love like a Father, who discriminating loves his pup. He is not indiscriminate like a Mother.
So, in Semitic Religion, God is First Mother and then Father.
Now to Martyr, which is a very loaded term. In Shia Islam, Jihad (struggle) for Holy Wars is not allowed, without God’s approval. And, it is only allowed in terms of defending oneself against oppression. Unfortunately, we cannot have God’s approval as the Prophet Mohammad (saws) is not with us. For Sunni Islam, any Tom, Dick and Harry can give the command of Jihad for Holy Wars.
However, one is allowed to stand up against oppression and tyrants, which is the Resistance and Hassan Nasrallah is the leader of Resistance in Lebanon.
For Shia the Greatest Martyr is Imam Hussain (as), grandson of Prophet Mohammad. His sister Zainab (as) and the whole family of the Prophet. Imam Hussain, stood up against the oppression of the sixth Caliph of Islam, called Yazid (la). Basically, Yazid was a tyrant and Imam Hussain saved Islam, which is the belief of both Sunni and Shia.
Yazid committed a genocide against the Prophet;s family. Out of 73 males, 72 were butchered, only one male was left alive as he was very, very ill. Brave Zainab took up the mantle like her brave mother Fatima (as), the daughter of the Prophet. She stood up to Yazid and completed the revolution.
I like to conclude with a poetry now, “Imagine there’s no heaven. It’s easy if you try. No hell below us. Above us only sky. Imagine all the people. Living for today…” John Lennon.
Dennis, I think that the relationship between male and female in human affairs must be more complex that the typically simple-minded ‘equality’ demanded by the cultural and civilizational supremacists of the West. For a start, the West has NO right to speak of itself as some sort of paragon, given the prevalence of violence against women, their exploitation in so many spheres, their under-representation in politics, business and the MSM, and the huge gap in male and female income and, even more marked, wealth.
Seeing as male and female date from the evolution of sexual reproduction a couple of hundred millions years ago, that division far outdates that between hominids and other primates, monkeys or mammals. I think, as a consequence of that long antiquity, and the different reproductive roles of male and female (and all Nature really cares for us is that we reproduce, after which she couldn’t give a stuff)that male and female roles cannot really be equal, as in identical, and it would be better to aim for a complementarity of inevitably different roles and abilities, although there will always been many areas where male and female do share talents, abilities and, of course, handicaps and deficiencies. What we really do not need are females aping the psychopathy of their male compatriots, as if this is some sort of achievement, and which has delivered us such creatures as Albright, Clinton, Powers, Thatcher etc.
Hizbullah leader, Sheikh Hassan Narsallah is both admired and hated by his adversaries. In a 2006 survey, Nasrallah was voted the “most trusted Arab leaders” by Israelis. Nasrallah is despised by Saudi ‘royals’ and anti-Shia sectarians – but loved by followers of all faiths in Lebanon.
Lebanon’s two top singers, Julia Boutros and Fairuz, both Christians, have written and sang many songs in praise of Nasrallah and Hizbullah – calling them the “Defenders of Lebanon”.
I knew about the Boutros song, but not about Fairuz. Do you have a link for the Fairuz song? If yes, would you have the lyrics (either in Arabic or translated into English)?
Thanks,
The Saker
Last year, prominent Lebanese composer Ziad Rahbani announced that his mother, the legendary singer Fairuz 78, supports Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. The news has rocked the anti-Hizbullah Jewish, Christian and Wahhabi/Salafi groups in the Middle East and far beyond.
Maybe, this quite old song could show what are her feelings.
Fairouz singing is somewhat reminiscent to the Opera, with the changes in registry and rythm she usually does. And also you could not but look at her eyes…. so expressive…..:
Fairouz “Zahrat Al Mada´en” ( “Flower of cities”- with English subtitles ):
You are absolutely right about the popularity, love and admiration for Hassan NasrAllah.
In North Africa mainly Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia he is a crown on top of our humble heads, in fact we have two crowns, the late Khomeini, may God have mercy on his noble soul, and Hassan NasrAllah, may God protect him. We cannot say or think the same for our “number six” here (Mohammed VI), or anyone from the House of Z-aud, just being honest (^_^)
Salam aleykoum brother, yes I watch it here http://www.almanar.com.lb/manarlive.php, I gave the TV away years ago and feel a little ‘sanitized’ . Yes as long as the Classical Arabic is used. The reason I tune to Press TV – English is simply because I do not know Farsi. Currently struggling to learn bits and bytes of the Russian language and Spanish, as both sound soft and rich.
A list of other International channels can be found here: http://wwitv.com/ (not all of them work)
If anyone knows other websites offering access to international TV stations, I will be happy to bookmark them.
Nasrallah and Khamanei always speak the truth and are pragmatic and objective in their discernment of the enemy. Both are priceless assets to their people, the region and the world.
The so-called ‘Christian’ Zionists of the US are actually Calvinists. The sect had to relocate to Geneva from Britain because it was fundamentally heretical to Christian teaching, which does not claim any people are ‘chosen’ to represent God, but that salvation comes through faith and Christian conduct.
The sect believed that good behaviour was immaterial to salvation and that some people are predestined to salvation. This led to a lot of paranoia in the sect with people living in fear that they were not of the ‘elect.’
Psychologically, Calvin used the standard tools of cult-making to control his congregation.
A more debased recent form was the ‘Children of God’ movement (basically a sex-cult) which eventually led to normalizing pdophilia in the group.
I always think it ironic that these cults which are apparently socially hostile to each other actually form from the same ‘exceptionalist’ paradigm. No wonder they lead to violence and violation.
Excellent post about Judeo-Christian thingy. And, the excellent link to Information Clearing House (ICH) article. As usual, great postings.
Another fake thingy is Abrahamic religion, which leaves out about 1/2 the world population. Another BS thingy, US vs THEM.
The Holy Quran uses the term, “Family of the Book”. The Book is singular. And One Family.
Since God is One and the Same, therefore the Religion is One, is to Submit to the Will of God. Same Religion and Book was sent over and over to all mankind, One People (Family). Of course, The Book was modified for differences in cultures and languages, but the Central Theme is the Same.
Hi Mohammed…well, Christianity says that Christ is the Son of God..and Islam says that Our God is one God and has no Son….so we’re actually not all the same.
Christ is an emanation of God…that is another theory…
But really ? there are many many beings in the Spiritual world and Christ is an old ancient (very high) being that gave up his evolution in higher worlds to come to earth and live and die in a physical body for 3 years – since the baptism – because otherwise mankind would have continued ‘the descent’ and could not escape it.
And Jesus, the man, was an avatar of an embodiment of a higher being, for 3 years. He was a very special person right from his birth, but a prophet…not a God.
Jesus will come again in the physical (reincarnation) but not Christ. Christ is here now as the Spirit of the Earth – the very bread we eat is Christ – who is the representative of the Father ( possibly the one God).
But Christ never called him Allah, so it also might be a different being from the Father.
Again, where to start. Are you created by a different Creator and I am created by a different Creator.
Is both our Creator not the Same?
So, as I already said above, the question should be What is the Creator?
And, not Who is Creator?
It is not US against THEM! God doesn’t Divide and Rule!
“But Christ never called him Allah, so it also might be a different being from the Father.”
It seems like that you have never read the New Testament. Jesus was a Semite, not a Jew (not chosen people) and spoke Aramaic and not Hebrew. Neither he was blue eyes and blond.
In the whole New Testament, you only have 4 words of Jesus in Aramaic in both Matthew and Mark. These 4 words are translated into 8 English words. Now, if you knew Jesus language, Aramaic, you will see that in these 4 words, he is calling God, “Allah”.
BTW, Allah is not God’s name, neither is God his name too! Both Allah and God are nouns!
I am sure that you know the difference between noun and proper noun. Allah is two words, the first word is “al”, which is the definite article. The second word is ilah/eloh. So when one combines al and ilah it becomes allah (The God).
So, you can say, “My God”, but it will be wrong to say, “My The God”. ilah/eloh can be made into plural such as Trinity, but allah cannot be made into plural.
Mohamed, Jesus was a direct descendant of David. He’s of the tribe of Judah – the Lion of Judah…very high born Jew.
Yes, I do think that Jesus spoke Aramaic…He was lived in Galilee and that was a mixed culture.
The Matthew gospel is called the Hebrew Gospel and was the first…according to biblical scholars..if my memory is not mistaken
And I pretty much know the New Testament off by heart.
Jehovah was the name of the Jewish God…that is not the Father God but I can’t prove it.
I agree that this is a anthropomorphic kind of conversation. That way one can use one’s mind…otherwise it gets too profound and then there’s no point in even discussing anything.
Allah is the name Muslims call their God…Christ called his God the Father…I agree that all three Jehovah, Allah and the Father are very high creator spirits…and I do agree that there is one God above all other Gods, but I don’t think that its a big soup pot and they are all one.
I think they are all different actually.
But when Muslims and Christians pray to “God”* it is the same divine ‘source’ that they pray to….but that source may be a region, just as much as a being…and for Christians, the Christ came as an intercessor for a humanity that had lost its connection to the Highest realm. He’s called the Lamb because he died for that cause…it created a connection again for those who choose it.
And the fact that Roman Catholics and unfortunately Muslims too, believe that Mary is the intercessor between us and Christ is pathetic. Christ IS the intercessor…not Mary.
*I think a person has to call Christ and come to know the difference between God and Christ if there is to be a real knowledge of Christ and his deed. But I also think that many scumbags use the name Christ without reaching this being.

You have roused my interest in theology. Thank you for sharing your views which are much appreciated. Rather than comment on yours which I would no doubt misrepresent, I will very briefly share my own.
I base my thinking on nature and natural metaphors rather than a book or scripture.
I believe God, Lord, Spirit and related terms are part of the patriarchal paradigm which has been forcefully super-imposed on nature.
Nature is womam-centered and parthenogenic at her base. Nature has introduced man as a secondary experiment for the enhancement of womem (spelling intentional).
Nature arises from persons of a high order and therefore is personal, in contrast to God who is a “what” rather than a “who,” although patriarchy has made God an “he.”
The Logos/Christ is a Greek/Roman solution to the contradictions inherent in a “super-natural” God.
The Christian Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit is a Roman psychological operation against the zealot Jews who opposed the empire as well as a patriarchal mystification technique to dull intelligence in the subdued populations.
Theology (the study of God) was designed by the Romans to thwart the budding rational philosophical movements.
As the power of the pagan gods waned the authorities combined them all into one God and then into a God-Man to co-opt rising humanitarianism.
As the power of God diminished the authorities introduced God-Money as the new Mono-archy.
As animal sacrifices to God and gods became distasteful, animal killing was relegated to slaughterhouses that gave the same blood-lust power to the rulers.
When the Allah based religions arose the rulers divided and demonized them.
Religion is very often used as a cover as the Russian philosopher, Irene Caesar, propounds in regard to the khasars.
Religion literally means to tie back into [a source]. The ultimate source of religions is love. Patriarchal religions are not about love but power.
Love needs to be distinguished from anti-love. I give the distinctions at thelovegovenment.com.
In an information war, language and meta-story is of the essence. Loverology opposes theology.
In the end, my dear sweet friend, love is all there is. But in the interim there are good and bad religions and fair and evil theologies.
Far be it from me to judge. I am only outlining my thoughts and feelings as they are at present. They are more fully amplified at thelovegovenment.com.
Thank you for your kind consideration. Please understand that I respect all beliefs. Some, such as exemplified here, are necessary to fight the master-evil which is so deep it cannot even be named. In no way am I for throwing out the baby (religions) with the bathwater (toxins of evil).
In the long game, I believe we must restore the aboriginal religion of love based on nature. Putin hinted at this is his UN speech by coining the new word “nature-like technologies.”
first of all, I would like to comment on this audience.
Nice.
Salam Sister Ann,
I don’t think it is the full speech and/or I don’t think it is his audience.
World’s Biggest Pilgrimage Now Underway, And Why You’ve Never Heard of it!
http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/sayed-mahdi-almodarresi/arbaeen-pilgrimage_b_6203756.html
Enough said,
Mohamed.
What? Not his real audience? Have we been gamed? I’m still interested in knowing if his real audience were also women. He did say “brothers and sisters.” I assumed he was talking to the women at home via TV. I don’t know. Who would want to substitute a fake audience for a real one?
Salam Dennis Leary,
Your name reminds me of someone called, “Timothy Leary”.
For images, see here: Labaik Ya Hussain
Best regards,
Mohamed.
Salam (Peace) Dennis Leary,
Here is the link for images again for Labaik Ya Hussain: https://www.google.com/search?q=labaik+ya+hussain+photos&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CBwQsARqFQoTCOzW79LC0cgCFcy2GgodDxkHbQ&biw=1536&bih=708
Do you get Manar TV in your country?
Best regards,
Mohamed
Hello Dennis,
If you see all the images, you will see that on children’s heads both girls and boys, you will see the bandanna with “Labaik Ya Hussain” in Arabic.
Education is a two ways street!
Best regards,
Mohamed.
Salam Dennis Leary,
While I am writing this, I am watching live Hassan Nasrallah in Arabic on Manar TV. Like, I said the religious ceremony is 10+ days.
BTW, the poetry was by The Doors from the song called, “The End”.
Best regards,
Mohamed.
LOL, Dennis.
Best regards,
Mohamed.
Salam brother Mohamed,
I also cry all the time, and if something makes me distrust is people not allowing others mourn….

Salam Sister Elsi,
Yes, Oman is a very beautiful country and we have a very benevolent King.
Best regards,
Mohamed.
British Jewish Chronicle, country’s top Israeli propaganda website, reported on January 26, that a panel of European Jewish leaders headed by Israeli professor Yoram Dinstein (Tel Aviv University) and backed by several former EU head of states and governments have proposed that any criticism of Jews, Israel or Holocaust should be banned by the 28-member European Union being an old-fashioned antiemitism.
http://rehmat1.com/2015/01/29/freedom-of-speech-the-jewish-way/
You make valid points and your links to Julia Boutros and Fairuz are invaluable.
Hi Dennis, nice way to deal with this…and yes, most of the internet journalists are from US.
Micheal Hudson, Stephen Lendman, Mike Whiteney and on and on….
Ann
@Rehmat,
Though I certainly agree with your very valid and factual points, there is no such thing as “Judeo -Christian”.

REPORT: $42 Million From Seven Foundations Helped Fuel The Rise Of Islamophobia In America –
http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/08/26/304306/islamophobia-network/
Regards,
Carmel by the Sea
@Carmel by the Sea – As a Catholic Mission graduate, I know the true story behind the so-called “Judeo-Christianity”. But there are 65 million American Evangelists who believe in the term “Judeo-Christianity” including Pope Francis, Archbishop Justin Welby, and US vice-president Joe Biden.
Francis has long declared that “there is a Jew in every Christian.”
http://rehmat1.com/2014/06/19/pope-francis-inside-every-christian-is-a-jew/
Peace from Canada
Rehmat,
That Francis is nuts, if he thinks “there is a Jew in every Christian”.
That was news to me, thank you for the information, as I had no idea he had said that.
Every day I learn and I am thankful for those unexpected teachers that cross my path.
Regards,
Carmel by the Sea
Carmel, if I remember correct, according to the Talmud, Jesus is a viciously reviled figure who is in Hell, up to his neck in boiling faeces.
I agree: language advances the actions.
Family, neighbour, acquaintance, and then wider – these are students to direct in effective rhetorique.
Stay the course, DL.
Salam Dennis Leary,
I hope you have seen my above answer in response to your questions.
Best regards,
Mohamed.

You can listen to her song in Arabic below:

thanks Rehmat, I’ve sent on this lovely article of yours to my friends.

Ancient version :
Fairouz “Zahrat Almada’en” – فيروز – زهرة المدائن – مهرجان الأرز 1967

Maybe, one day, we all will be able to pray, side by side, in Jerusalem – Al Quds.
Rehmat,
You are absolutely right about the popularity, love and admiration for Hassan NasrAllah.
Salam brother Brahim,
If you know Arabic, then it is best to watch Hassan Nasrallah live on Manar TV which belongs to Hezbollah.
Press TV is for English speaking audience and belongs to Iran.
Best regards,
Mohamed.
@Mohamed,
Salam aleykoum brother, yes I watch it here http://www.almanar.com.lb/manarlive.php, I gave the TV away years ago and feel a little ‘sanitized’ .

The US shows again what it means to have a “contract”, “deal”, “treaty” or whatever you call it:

it’s like a replay of all those treaties with the North American Indians.
Carmel,
Excellent post.
Eimar,
Thank you I am pleased you like it.. I don’t post much but I read this blog daily. I always enjoy your posts.

The Children of God was founded by David Berg.
Salam brother Carmel by the Sea,
Excellent post about Judeo-Christian thingy.
“Be a Good Person and Love your Neighbors.”
Best regards,
Mohamed.
Salam brother Mohammed,
Thank you. I always enjoy your posts too.
Btw…I am a “sister” not a ” brother” LOL
No worries, I found it funny!!!
Regards,
Carmel by the Sea
Salam Sister Carmel,
I guess I am Carmel too! :)
When I blush, like any race it shows! :)
It is an Iraqi custom, when they greet you, they ask, “What is your color” and not “How are you”!
Beautiful, takes out all the prejudices!
Best regards,
Mohamed.
Salam Sister Ann,
Again, where to start.
Know the language of Jesus, which was Aramaic!
Best regards,
Mohamed.
Bye for now,
Ann
Peace, Brother Mohamed, Sister Carmel by the Sea, Ann, Mulga Mumblebrain et alii.
Dennis, its strange that you think the Trinity is Roman…St Paul more like….
Try Rudolf Steiner if you like these topics…
