A heartbroken and outraged Barak Obama announced announced today that he was deeply saddened by the death every single one of the 20 people who where killed in the clashes in Iran (including the 8 Basijis killed by gunfire?).
He had nothing to say about the 60 people killed in Pakistan in the latest strike by US drones.
Some victims are “more equal than others” I suppose.
Orwell would be proud of Obama.
Not only about Pakistan:
Asked by a reporter if he wanted to apologize for CIA involvement in Chilean elections, Mr. Obama did not do so.
“I’m interesting in going forward, not looking backward,” the president said. “I think that the United States has been an enormous force for good in the world.”
“I think there have been times where we’ve made mistakes, but I think that what is important is looking at what our policies are today and what my administration intends to do in cooperating with the region,” added Mr. Obama.

New Front Sets Sights On Toppling Iran Regime.
Article about the MKO activities these days, from Time Magazine http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1906172,00.html . Watered down but interesting.
An excerpt:
According to Mohaddessin, sympathizers secretly monitored more than half the polling stations during the presidential election, providing the NCRI with enough information to claim that scarcely 15% of Iranian voters bothered casting ballots at all, a number at odds with the reportedly massive turnout seen by foreign media and other observers and the government figure that put participation at 85%.
Can anyone tell me why Neda has suddenly become an iconic figure even though we really do not know as of yet who her real killer was,
yet the Rachel Corrie killing, in which we know for a fact who her killer was, has been hardly given the light of day by our so-called civilized and objective Western media and government…?
Maybe we should be asking our President Obama why he has been so silent regarding the Israeli assault on Gaza and ongoing siege, yet more vocal now on the Iranian street protests( which started because some minority groups could not bring themselves to accept the choice of the majority), that have had elements of violent demonstrators breaking the laws and creating havoc amongst peaceful protesters?
Maybe we should be telling President Obama, for credibility purposes, that if he is going to mention the killing of Neda and blame the Iranian government, he should also mention and condemn the killing of peace activist Rachel Corrie or the critical injuring of peace activist Tristan Anderson and blame the Israeli government…
I for one, am sick and tried of the obvious double standards we are being fed everyday by our media and government …
Yet, I am supposed to be pointing the finger at Iran because that is what is the acceptable thing to do in today’s so-called civilized world….
15% compared to 85%, LOL, what a huge discrepancy! This means that the 15% figure the NCRI came up with represents those who the Iranian government claims did not vote…
I suppose that all of the media reports claiming that the elections had a huge turnout, including Western media reports, covering the elections before the protest turned riots began and the media was banned, were all fabricated reports, and that the 4 hour extension to satisfy people who still hadn’t yet voted, was for media consumption purposes only….
Give me a break…
AS long as the Western governments intelligence agencies feel that the MKO and the NCRI can help serve their interests in Iran, it is really irrelevant how much influence they have amongst the average Iranian people. As long as these intelligence agencies, such as the CIA, can use them to continue creating havoc on the ground in Iran, they serve a purpose in the world of control the situation by espionage …

US Officials Leaked False Story Blaming Iran for Khobar Attack.
This man is full of shit, but also very direct.
VS
The western media did not report the 26 Egyptians killed by the Egyptian police during the latest Elections of Egypt , in Muslim brotherhood districts , many were assaulted by Police in civilian clothes (all on AL Jazeera live at the time )
the western Media did not react much about 500 PLUS Uzbecks killed by Karimov in 2005 , because Uzbekistan was still the US backyard with US bases all over its soil .
The US media simply yawned at the brutal killing of 1300 lebanese in 2006 by the zionist killing machine , or the same numbers by the same criminals a few months ago in Gaza . but suddenly the US media is concerned about Muslims in Iran , talk about hypocrisy and crocodile tears ..
