Dear friends,
I just wanted to update you on a few things.
First, the Saker blog is almost back to normal. There are a few things to still polish up, like the weird looking guest analyses sections, and the Latin American Saker blog is still down, as we are still waiting for the folks who run it to give us the needed data to fix it.
Second, I feel that my batteries are fully recharged, and I am planning to post an analysis+survey of what took place in the past 5 months on July 24th, this Sunday, God willing. Not only has the situation in the Ukraine changed rather dramatically, but even the situation worldwide, and now we already live in a different world. There will be a lot to cover.
Next, we still need more volunteers to help us translate texts and videos, and subtitle the latter. Right now, only two translators are active, which means that we are missing on a lot of very good videos. So, if you can translate from Russian into English, please contact me at vineyardsaker@gmail.com

Re your request for RU2EN translators for videos:
I would ask that you consider a presentation thereof in paragraph format in lieu of subtitles. Likely, it would be a lesser burden on the translator. But another reason is because videos are so data consuming that those with a limited monthly data supply will not be able to take that hit to their data and, accordingly, will not be able to learn of that content. And there are even other benefits to doing other than the typical subtitling format to video translation.

Your sharp and original analyses have been truly missed, Andrei. It is a relief to know that you are getting back, but even more that you have recovered and recharged. Whatever happens, health is not for sale and family matters most.

Welcome back, Andrei. Stay vigilant and be prepared to withdraw as needed because these type of health issues have a tendency to resurface when you least expect it.
You didn’t miss much during your absence as things have been progressing pretty much as expected, and some bad things have happened to some of the persons who really deserve it. There are plenty more who need a good whoopass. Guess sooner rather than later they will taste the belt.
