Nature is imperfect and only God who is Perfect. Thus, we all human beings being part of the nature, we are all imperfect. An example, a woman is created in man’s body and vice verse. Islam recognizes this imperfection and thus recommends cures for these imperfections.
In Iran since the inception of Islamic Republic of Iran these operations are provided free of costs, and after the operation, moral and psychological support is provided free of costs until the individual is properly assimilated into the society.
It appears the in the case of Bruce Jenner, USA has finally discovered moon.
What on Earth are you talking about?… What “woman created in a man” … what utter nonsense are you writing here?… It has absolutely nothing to do with Ayatollah’s wise address to the police in this video.
I’ve never listened to this man speak before. What a beautiful talk he gave. I’m profoundly impressed, thank you Saker for posting this. I was less engaged with his comments about America – which were all completely true and accurate. I was more astounded at the calm and order, and sacred inspiration, that flowed from him to his listeners, the police officers of the Islamic Republic, seated humbly before him.
What truths he spoke, that the police force is unlike the rest of the military in that it has intimate contact with the people, and thus must act in a scrupulously moral and healthy way. That police officers must have clear power, so as to be able to act decisively and powerfully, but that power should not be confused with oppression, and that police officers should not act oppressively, but simply in observance of the law. And most especially, he said, police officers should obey and enforce the laws rigorously in their own organizations first and foremost, and look to the moral health of their subordinates.
I would break down and weep for days, first if such moral authority even existed in the US and second if its holder would give such a talk to the police officers of the US.
So you think you picked up one word along the way and now try to squeeze it for maximum effect? Give your ignorant comment some credibility?
Taqiyya is a Shia doctrine which applies to concealing the fact you’re a Shia when faced with death or severe bodily harm, born from an age when they were(are) heavily persecuted by the Sunni.
Tell me how does that apply here, a speech given in his home country as the ruler thereof no less, for his own followers?
You are absolutely correct. However, Taqiyya is practiced by Sunnis too, but the Wahhabis deny it. It surely entails lying.
The Taqiyya is practiced in the TANAKH (Old Testament) when Abraham taught that his and his family’s lives were in danger, so he lied to the King and told him that his wife was his sister.
I don’t believe my comment is ignorant, and as far as your credibility, taqiyya is mentioned in numerous Quaranic passages and is not simply a Shia doctrine.
I am not sure what subtitles you were reading or even which video you were viewing. Just to let you know that the Shi’a call it Taqiya, the Sunni call it kitmān which can mean concealment, dissimulation, secrecy and is a legal trickery that can be used when facing coercion (some pejoratively call it religious or legal lie).
As an example of using Taqiya or kitmān, I will try my best to roughly translate a story that happened during the British Rule in India.
There was a pious Muslim, a leader of the freedom fighters who was wanted by the British police but they didn’t even know his face. The policemen came to the gathering where he was sitting on the floor with his comrades and they started asking the crowd where their leader was , the leader stood up, stepped away and pointed at the very spot where he was sitting and told the police “he was sitting right here!”, the policemen walked away empty handed. As a pious and God fearing Muslim, he refused to lie, but he legally tricked his oppressors.
Sorry the translation is poor, but I hope you can make sense out of it.
The first person is to use Taqiyya as previously mentioned above by me. Since then till today the Jews are practicing Taqiyya, when they hide their true religion under persecution. It is basically, survival.
99.9% of police are doing the tough job without incident.
When things go wrong, the victim usually has a record, is familiar to the police or does not obey orders. Once the tripwire is sprung, in this case, Freddy Gray ran from the police, in Ferguson, Michael Brown punched the officer and grabbed for his gun, we see how things go deadly or accidents happen (if this was accidental).
Police die protecting people and property and one another.
Police are injured by attacks from criminals.
Police are not the problem in 99.9% of the incidents.
And where the very few are bad apples, incorrigible brutes, the legal system should be courageous enough to get rid of them, punish them and seek to discover what the commonality is that can be avoided in hiring and training and deploying police.
Police deal with criminals, sociopaths, drunks, addicts and psychotic citizens, as well as, now terrorists.
We expect sainthood from them. I think this is expecting something that can’t be delivered.
Training, retraining and better technologies must be the answer.
Seat belts in the van are good idea. Cameras should have been in there.
But most of all, these policemen (and woman) are subject to the rule of law. They are considered not guilty until they get a trial.
They did not even get a grand jury examination of the evidence.
The list of charges is based completely on medical examiner stating the death was a homicide. That is not equivalent to a murder. Homicide just means not suicide, not natural causes. It might be termed “unexpected death”.
Think of all the interfacing with the lowest level of society everyday, every night, your whole career, and you will see what colors police attitudes and influences their actions.
There is no indication of brutality. He was not bruised. He suffered a traumatic event.
There may be medical evidence that something had happened to him prior to that day and this culmination occurred. We don’t know.
And a grand jury might have asked for more investigation than the Prosecutor used, or wanted to use.
Now it will be the cops defense team that has to work to find the truth.
But remember, Freddie Gray ran from the police. Why was that?
Citizens who want to live in a land of Rule of Law have to obey the law. A police officer has inherent right to approach and question a citizen. A citizen should respond lawfully. That’s the social contract we have with the officers. It is why they have the guns and we don’t (without special licenses).
So this death is not because of brutality or guns. We don’t know how his spine broke or when.
It is being blamed on the driver and the others without a scintilla of evidence.
There was another man in the back during the time Freddie was alive and when Freddy was not breathing.
No beating, no bruises, no indication whatever of the cause of trauma. Just the result.
Time to hold fire on accusation against police.
The justice system will now have its turn. Perhaps, the truth will surface.
this comment is the main reason why police brutality will never be fixed in the USA.
Everytime it happens, you have people similar to the above, keep telling us how dangerous policemen are always in. Well guess what, Police do NOT have the most dangerous jobs, they are not even in the top 10.
Fact is police brutality is an indication of a society in decline, regressing from civilization to babarism.
Your argument is weak because you argue from an event and blame all present.
Police brutality is a phenomena that is world wide. It is part of world history in every society. It is present in tribal police, homogenous societies and multi-racial urban areas of every such nation.
It is rare, very infrequent and always a cause for the dopy Liberals to bemoan the lack of perfection in the human race.
Police interact with citizens millions of times with no brutality.
Copper Penny stated clearly the situations that usually trigger brutality or aggressive reaction by police.
“Police brutality is world wide…”
yeah, US police killed more people in 1 month that UK bobbies did in 10 years. Even adjusting for population that’s about 40x.
Go ahead, dont fix the problem!
In Uk other things are common. Things like pedophilia for instance. Uk is far ahead of US when the cases of pedophilia are compared, and you still manage to beat US even though your population is only a fraction of the US’ (330 million people compared to 63 million).
“Police brutality is world wide…”. So if the rest of the world is bad, we should be just as bad? is that it? But fact is, the rest of world isn’t even remotely as bad:
US police killed more people in 1 month that UK bobbies did in 10 years. Even adjusting for population that’s about 40x.
Go ahead, dont fix the problem!
If you really want to educate yourself of the problem just read the link I posted earlier, but just so you won’t miss the chance, here’s the link:
Personally I think this is a peculiarly American problem. Every time there is a similar case of police abuse, people will make all kinds of excuses for the police, or start making suggestions on problems with the victims ( he has heart problems, back problems, asthma, and who knows what).
But may be Americans deserve what they get, unfortunately, it’s mostly black people who gets this “deserving”. I dont blame them for being super angry at all…
Police (or any other constitued body) brutality or lack of it stems directly of the *NATURE* of the constitued body.
When the police institution is healthy, rightous, moral, compasionate; then so are their members.
When the police institution is rotten, immoral, sadistic, so are their members.
That is the reason why Khameney emphasizes the importance of morality and rightness in the police institution.
The complete disregard about morality in the USA has a direct consequence the impunity and murderous nature of the police on that country.
There are countries where natives are not afraid of their police, they regard them as fellow citizens. In such countries police has a tendency to have very few visible marks of power; their moral authority is accepted and enough, no need to big weaponry.
There are countries where natives are afraid of their police; they prefer not to cross them on the street, talks shut down when police comes, people down their eyes. In such countries police has a tendency to have ostensible signs of power, big guns, armour, helmets, even armour in some cases (like in the US).
Police violence in the US is part of the ongoing creation of a police state. There are many other aspects of the problem, which the above website covers. Unfortunately, right now only page one opens, but hopefully that is due to maintenance. It would not surprise me, though, if TPTB would like that website down. It is still worth reading the main page, though, as even the titles tell a lot about what is actually happening inside the US. They would like this kind of reporting eliminated.
Well, it is depressing but none of the articles on that website open either and I see there hasn’t been a posting in two months. I hope those hosting the website have not been harmed.
Many Americans are in a stupor of denial about the seriousness of conditions in this country.
> So this death is not because of brutality or guns. We don’t know how his spine broke or when. It is being blamed on the driver and the others without a scintilla of evidence.
Philadelphians don’t have any problem figuring out what happened to Freddie Gray, the 25-year old black man who died as a result of a severed spine at the neck while being transported in a police van by Baltimore Police, after being picked up on a trumped up charge when he ran away from two bicycle cops.
Here in Philadelphia, Police have long enjoyed giving arrested men who mouth off to them during arrests what is known fondly in the department as a “nickel ride.” That’s where they put their captive in the back of the van, hands bound behind his back so he cannot hold on to anything or protect himself, and otherwise unrestrained. Then the driver of the vehicle accelerates repeatedly, whips around corners and periodically slams on the breaks, causing the helpless captive in the back to slam against various parts of the vehicle, often with his head.
a) What does white have to do with brutal treatment? – Ask any, random black person.
b) Can only arrested discuss the issue? – A person who’s been arrested would be able to give us a firsthand perspective from the ‘inside.’
c) Can a person have understanding and empathy without talking to really bad,bad criminals? – Would you then know what having been ‘interrogated in an enhanced manner‘ by cops feels like?
The american police is brutal to the extreme and racist to the biot and they do not get punishment because of such racist and evil excuses just like this.
Nice apologia. However, the one flaw in your argument is: “And where the very few are bad apples, incorrigible brutes, the legal system should be courageous enough to get rid of them, punish them and seek to discover what the commonality is that can be avoided in hiring and training and deploying police.” This is not done. Unless a citizen actually films the abuse/assist ion nothing happens to the “bad apple”. In fact there are numerous, well documented cases where a fellow officer is eventually forced out of a police department because he reported criminal activity on the part of of a fellow officer. Also, your innocent until proven guilty pean to police officers is one way. A 12 year old boy in Cleveland is shot dead by a cop. Where is that cop now Copper Penney. I do not where the cop is, probably working overtime to up his pension bebefit.
Now the 12 year old, I know where he is. Now you tell me Copper Penny what did that 12 year old boy do, Oh my god he frightened that poor old police officer so now he is dead. In fact, a troubling fact about your whole screed is you do what I tell you or I will knock you around and perhaps say I felt threatened and blow your brains out (in pre 9/11 America it was called tyranny) As far as your BS about those Baltimore cops, they filed false arrest reports, why is that Copper Penney. And also there is a witnesses to the “Nicole Ride” they gave gray. But of course you know nothing about that, right: can’t punish those cops, they are innocent until proven guilty. What about Gray well: “a mangled body and death to all who run from a cop.”
Hangin was a thing of the past (and indeed, there were a lot of hangins in the US; yesterday was the international remembering of the Chicago 5 martyrs, innocents hanged to death); nowadays US police use mainly modern ways to kill, bullets and electricity (teasers).
How many people has been murdered by police on the US latelty ?
A lot actually.
And I’m always surprised at the passivity of the US population. When will people rise up and create auto-defense militias?
The authorization was accepted by Republicans and democrats with clear majority, at the end 60 parliamentarians were right for the law and only two against it.
The authorization should also serve to put under pressure president Barack Obama. Obama must approve the law, so that it can come into force. The American president has refused up to now to agree to a delivery of deadly weapons in the Ukraine. However, for months a group around hard liner John McCain urges to arm the Ukraine stronger. The group of McCain believes that Russia plans against all public protestations to attack the Ukraine. Russia has considered giving to McCain an entry ban.
During the past weeks the war rhetoric has clearly increased around the Ukraine. The Americans as well as the Russians accuse themselves mutually of being responsible for lasting injuries of the cease-fire. The latest report of the OSCE confirms that it has come once more to violent fights for airport Donjezk. Nevertheless, in view of the observance of the agreement of Minsk the report finds out that the Ukraine has moved four tanks in one her not being entitled zone. The rebels have spent against it only one Motorhaubitze to a place at which she has to search nothing.
Usa has no shame in arming ukraine then why does Russia have to always justify herself and her actions to anglo excuses ? For example about rusdian helpers
Why does russia not say _so what?
Because Putin’s ultimate goal is to convince Europe that the US is a bigger danger to peace and stability in Europe than Russia is. He’s hoping to get them to switch sides.
Iran’s sovereignty should be respected. There should NO U.S. attack on Iran or meddling in its internal affairs. In fact, the diplomacy in place now is the type of interaction the U.S. should seek with Iran and other sovereign states. Ayatolah Khamenei’s remarks are the type of instruction police should receive. However, let us not forget the violence committed against demonstrators after the 2009 elections. The police and Basij were absolutely brutal. In anticipation of a reply on this point, it is entirely possible for demonstrators to be sincere and correct even if the U.S. is meddling in those nations. Let’s hope that this is a brand new era for the Iranian people. They’ve been through more than enough.
What stil baffels me, an Cynical old bastard and an anarcist, words whom meaning is fogotten and as in religion perverted to obvlivion, and is to day, nowhere near its original meaning.
And this Goes to what Man is capable to do, to others, by using means, if you known your history, all that have been created since the dawn of Man. In every religios direction, an nothing I find directly idiotic and contradictionary in its core terms, using God as an exuse, to impliemt rules, solely based upon their perseptions of religious belife is and what makes you to be a “true follower” if whatever religion that is.
Even Buddists kill others, even downright murder, and what does this persons act imply about Buddism, nothing of course, about Man, yea a lott, but to conect it to God is beyound sanity and way into something what I call, The Nodders.
Nodding to everything.
Il be short.
If a man, thruout his life, have been kind, lovingly to everything, conducted good deeds, with good intentions and clear consiousness, and sheering a litle of his exsesses if he have any to give, a litle is way above nothing.
Died, love and remebered as a loving person.
Do you realy belive, that what ever this person Humps, both ways, or have not learned to bow to Mekka 5 times aday, fasted as a good muslim should do to cleans both body and mind, is of GODs intress, do you think that HE gives this litle MAN made indusion of “belife” into what THEY belive GOD, thinks is any kind of wurth.
Unless its meant to be as it was teached to do, and done in the proper way and mindsett, regarding fasting and Mekka.
In the end, issues as Sex and Gays, whom have their own fights against everymans belife, have taken the focus of religion and made it to an ugly political theater of absurdetys and flatout lies.
The truth is, when the day of reconing comes, and you stand infront of the judge, all He ask for is this, What did you do to others.
If you was a kind and wise person treated everybody with love and respect, why do you thing if this person is Gay have anything to do with Life as hole, when the day of judgment comes.
It doenst have any weight at all.
If He/She have killed and plundered, He/She will face THAT, not what He/She Humps.
Thats what will happend to me to, and I am hetro.
I think you gett it.
The fundament in this isnt clear before the first is placed, everything, everywhere, all the time, is the result of our creators will, no expetions what so ever or it simply never will have existed in the first place.
DO YOU UNDERSATND that.
Free will, the Creatore gift to humanity, but since we cant live in love, the only force created in the entire universe that can rise the force inside us all, the light, or the energetic entety calle Free will.
If you read the teachings again, with this in your mind, you will see it.
The same energy can be used to create hate.
PS. A. Khamenei is refresingly clear and consistent, and makes issues mutch clearer for us all.
Very interestin what you say, and I think it’s true. I remember reading a story once in the “1001 Nights” about a character named Mahmoud, who used to like hashish and young boys. The locals called him Mahmoud-by-the-back-door, or something like that. And in the hareems of old who can tell what may have happened until a concubine’s turn came to serve the sultan.
Also, Lawrence of Arabia seems to have picked up a thing or two about this when he was in the Turkish prisons. He doesn’t mention it in his “Seven Pillars of Wisdom”, but his preference for the Arabs over the Ottomans is very obvious.
Some people say that even the Afghan Pashtoun warriors like to have a young male friend near them, but I tend not to believe that, as they are mostly goat-herders.
The article is wrong, because one-sided. In Baltimore (600k, 63% black) alone, last year 233 people were killed, almost all young black males, killed by young black males. The US police may be very brutal, but that has something to do with the very violent public they need to keep under control. The number of people in jail in the US is ten times as high as in Scandinavia. That says something about the US public, read: black public.
If we could believe that those incarcerated were fairly convicted, your surmise about the relative percentages of incarceration between US and Scandinavian countries might be worth looking into. I don’t think we can believe this, however. And I’m extremely wary when you start talking about Black America as being inherently different from White America – which is how I read your concluding sentence.
This is not a field of study for me, so I don’t have lots of facts and data to present, but I get the impression, from those who do concern themselves with this matter, that the entire US justice system is heavily biased against blacks and Latinos.
What’s most disturbing to me is that the prison system is a for-profit system that actively lobbies for laws designed to take people off the street and dump them into prison. I think what the incarceration rate in the US indicates is something more about corporate profits than keeping the peace against an unruly demographic.
“It was a just snapshot in time that was frozen, It was horrible. The smell of popcorn. The smell of fear and death in the room.” – Detective Matthew Ingui, testifying at defendant James Holmes’ trial.
From the politically incorrect version of the Oxford English Dictonary:
Smell of Fear noun.
Informal.
The putrid odor emanating from American military or cops whenever they do not have overwhelming force on their side and are confronted with a victim/opponent who can fight back.
The smell of fear emanating from the US Special Forces operator was putrid, as he confronted an Afghan peasant boy armed with a Kalashnikov.
The Leadership in Iran criticizing anyone for police brutality when their own state has such atrocious courts, police forces and public executions of the most brutal order (where sick sadist Iranian girls come out with their boyfriends to smirk and gawk at the poor souls being slowly put to death while being humiliated) is a bit much. You have to see it to believe how sick it is; it’ll scar your soul.
This, speech by the Iranian leadership, is just the Eastern-side of 1984: accuse others of your own worst practices; Iranian 1984. Go look up Evin Prison and learn the kind of brutal torture conducted there.
Have you witnessed the horrors of the Iranian judicial system and police-state? Have you seen the blood-lust and sadistic pleasure registering on the faces of the young women that come to public executions for the thrill of entertainment, blood-lust (and other lust), and mis-placed feelings of revenge? Why to do I mention the young-women? Because the Iranian system is so distorted, that this is the one event (Brutal Public executions) where young-women can go on an outing and mix-openly with unrelated members of the opposite-sex and the moral authorities have no problem with it, the young-girls use the opportunity fully, no matter how evil the event. Yet other mundane events. like going to a cafe, open couples up to the risk of being abducted and beaten (arbitrarily) by their morality police.
While people can legitimately have hold the belief that Iran should be left to work things out with their own context, that doesn’t mean we should turn a blind to hypocrisy and brutal immoral practices carried out in that state just out blind immoral partisan convenience. Or perhaps out of irrational emotionalism.
What’s next, is this site going to put up a video of a speech by the Catholic Pope admonishing the British elite and Anglican Church for engaging in pedophilia, murder and aggressive conversion activities against the Orthodox World? I’d take that speech as seriously as this speech by Khamenei. Pot calling the kettle black.
Really? Where is the moral compass when we engage in ignoring the ugly side of those you deem an “ally”? Pathetic and laughable to the point that one wonders if raking up controversy is the purpose rather than serious discourse. I’m not angry, I’m just laughing at how absurd it is to ascribe sincerity to this speech.
I have to be really honest here and stick my neck out. As an ordinary American I am really deeply deeply offended by Sharia law whether possibly “moderate” as in Iran or under bloody fanatical raving Jihadists. I simply see all mankind with the exception of very very few, as capable under circumstances of opportunity and power of the greatest possible cruelty, hypocrisy and opportunism for bloodlust. I no longer believe the real unblemished truth can be obtained from any source. I do not want to be so cynical, I long for peace, justice, truth and an end to this never ending brutality which is what all people do to one another. I do not understand what kind of creator could have possibly invented or thought up such a dark creation as so called “homo sapiens”. But I am sure of this one thing. ALL people are capable and guilty. If we don’t do it they will do it when they can. I basically agree wholeheartedly with Copper Penny but most of the time I think that we will all destroy ourselves and there will never be a heaven on earth, a utopia or nirvana. The history of human beings is stark testimony to almost the need for it all to end before there can be a new beginning. Karpatok
Wow, sounds like you *know so much* about what’s happening in Iran. I wonder how…
I certainly don’t. I mean, all I know is what the US MSM show me, and fact is, the MSM constantly tells me lots of bad things about other countries, but a lot of them a simply (a) not true, or (b) exaggerated to make them look more stupid or evil, or (c) only cover one side of a much more complex issue.
If you want to compare “cruelty” of “Sharia” laws, hey, how about comparing Iran with our great pal Saudi Arabia? wanna do that ? why not ?
Fact is Saddam’s Iraq and Assad’s Syria, and Gaddafi’s Libya are/were much more moderate when it comes to Sharia laws, well, didn’t gain them any favors from the US hegemon, did they?
The Saker blog has now attracted several sophisticated new trolls, certainly paid operators. Compare their work to that of ‘Skeptical’ on Bruce Schneier’s blog. A bland, boring semi-intellectual presentation, consistently in defense of the neoliberal fascist West, making a few token concessions along the way.
The new trolls are on the Ukraine articles, and now, on this article.
Khamenei is a soothing master of lies and deception.
On my Android phone I don’t get undertitles in the browser, only in the YouTube app. So I start it up and look for “Khamenei police”. Most of the results show me police brutality and murders. That tells you all you need to know about the character.
That’s funny, because when I input your search terms on youtube I get the clip featured here as first choice. Mybe your app has atuned its search to your obviously blinkered mind? Just an educated guess.
The Ayatollah has always had wise words to share with those who are inclined to listen. The problem with the West is that its population long ago opted to outsource this important function to “others”. Now others (main stream media, academia, politicians etc) listen for them and feed them a constant diet of lies, half-truths, and celebrity gossip. This in turn free them up to keep up with the Kardashians and Modern Family.
WOW!What a statesman and a great religious leader. If only our Western perversions of leaders were to take to heart just a few of this great man’s words how wonderful our communities would be.But of course this requires personal spiritual belief whilst among the people, instead we here in the UK,have profanity even in the office of the police-shameful!
What is that man talking about? Does he not know that Baltimore is a black city? Mayor, the Chief of Baltimore police is black, over half of police of Baltimore is black… What does he suggests, that police should simply back off and let the mob rule? Is that how Sharia law deal with a drug dealer? And who would have thought that Hillary Clinton, Sacker, Khomenei, thieves, mobs and thugs would all be “on the same page”?
We know that this is all part of a long term KM plan to kill, wound, disable or weaken American Men, especially the young males so they will be unable to defend America from a complete KM take-down and transformation of America into GAZA II, the World’s largest open air prison camp followed by the mass-murder of all Americans.
I tried to warn you about VT but it seems you really like the taste of that “cool aid”.
That’s cool, KM. There’s one last thing I’d like you to check out, though.
Ever head of “Gray State”? That up-coming movie about the US’s economic collapse and the 2nd American Revolution? If Americans fighting the Empire was not on the table, they would not have done to David Crowley what they did. http://benswann.com/interview-gray-state-co-creator/
What Sayed Ali Khamenei is doing is what is taught to him by Allah, The Prophet and His Master, the First Imam Ali. The theme and recurring theme in Holy Quran is that man is an oppressor. Allah told Adam not to approach the tree, if he did go near the tree, he will become an oppressor. The tree didn’t have any significance, but Adam by using his freewill, defied Allah. Allah being the Most Merciful forgave Adam and sent him on earth for a while to enjoy.
Today is the birthday of Imam Ali. 30 years after the death of the Prophet, Islam had become an Empire and it was no longer a religion. Oppression and corruption was rampant. Imam Ali was swept in as the 4th Caliph. He was murdered within 4 years. He tried to rein in the oppression and corruption. I will post here one of his letter to one of his appointed Governor called, Malik al-Ashtar:
[quote]
Be it known to you, O, Malik, that I am sending you as Governor to a country which in the past has experienced both just and unjust rule. Men will scrutinise your actions with a searching eye, even as you used to scrutinise the actions of those before you, and speak of you even as you did speak of them.
The fact is that the public speak well of only those who do good. It is they who furnish the proof of your actions. Hence the richest treasure that you may covet would be the treasure of good deeds. Keep your desires under control and deny yourself that which you have been prohibited from, for, by such abstinence alone, you will be able to distinguish between what is good to them and what is not.
Develop in your heart the feeling of love for your people and let it be the source of kindliness and blessing to them. Do not behave with them like a barbarian, and do not appropriate to yourself that which belongs to them. Remember that the citizens of the state are of two categories. They are either your brethren in religion or your brethren in kind. They are subject to infirmities and liable to commit mistakes.
Some indeed do commit mistakes. But forgive them even as you would like God to forgive you. Bear in mind that you are placed over them, even as I am placed over you. And then there is God even above him who has given you the position of a Governor in order that you may look after those under you and to be sufficient unto them. And you will be judged by what you do for them.
Do not set yourself against God, for neither do you possess the strength to shield yourself against His displeasure, nor can you place yourself outside the pale of His mercy and forgiveness. Do not feel sorry over any act of forgiveness, nor rejoice over any punishment that you may mete out to any one. Do not rouse yourself to anger, for no good will come out of it.
Do not say: “I am your overlord and dictator, and that you should, therefore, bow to my commands”, as that will corrupt your heart, weaken your faith in religion and create disorder in the state. Should you be elated by power, ever feel in your mind the slightest symptoms of pride and arrogance, then look at the power and majesty of the Divine governance of the Universe over which you have absolutely no control.
It will restore the sense of balance to your wayward intelligence and give you the sense of calmness and affability.
Beware! Never put yourself against the majesty and grandeur of God and never imitate His omnipotence; for God has brought low every rebel of God and every tyrant of man.
Let your mind respect through your actions the rights of God and the rights of man, and likewise, persuade your companions and relations to do likewise. For, otherwise, you will be doing injustice to yourself and injustice to humanity. Thus both man and God will turn unto your enemies. There is no hearing anywhere for one who makes an enemy of God himself. He will be regarded as one at war with God until he feels contrition and seeks forgiveness. Nothing deprives man of divine blessings or excites divine wrath against him more easily than cruelty. Hence it is, that God listens to the voice of the oppressed and waylays the oppressor.
That’s why the police are denying that the van made a fourth stop at “a desolate intersection… surrounded by vacant lots”. That’s why the recordings between the driver of the van and headquarters haven’t been released. (“Whenever a police officer makes a stop he’s supposed to radio it in.”) That’s why the Police Commissioner has refused to answer questions about the video footage that was seized from grocery store owner Jung Hyun Hwang whose security camera was on when the police van made “a previously unknown stop” while Gray was still onboard.</em.
Check it out:
. “The store owner… told The Associated Press that two police officers visited his store during the week of April 20 and later made a copy of the surveillance video.” Since then, the original copy in Hwang’s possession has also mysteriously vanished.
The civil rights movement and its proponents have more or less established a class of house slaves, identical in function when slavery was legal. That is what any government official, including black police, are — they are house slaves. Race traitors. Black but white. Like Jewish police who helped the nazis herd other Jews into cattle cars. While it is true that black folk don’t half to sneak into a veteranarians office to have an infected tooth removed, and can actually see doctors these days, there are now more black slaves in prison dungeon plantations than on agricultural plantations before the American civil war.
The whole point of Obama — and other appointees — is an attempt to fool the blacks into thinking that there is “progress” for them. Or at the very least, keep them from reducing most urban areas to rubble for a few more years. The massa thought he could get a traitor house n!gger to keep the black folk slavin’ away for just a bit longer, but the black folk know better now. They know that this house slave class were the same people that sold them off to the whites once the whites established the slave trade in Africa.
The people being duped are the white regime loyalists, all of whom are obviously racist. The hard ones will make references to monkeys and make “go back to Africa” one liners. The soft ones, like we see in this threads commentary, will gleefully defend police, and speak of the house slave class as a sign of progress and equality. Meanwhile, they both love their “Made in USA” prison labor modern day lamp shades. They love their AFRICOM and multinationals gangraping Africa. They love wearing the skin of slave children on their bodies, made in Bangladesh, or whereever. Less than 5% of the population stealing 25% of the world, most of which ends up being turned into garabge.

The issue was not the issue of abolishing slavery. Rather it was the issue of the north & the south. (…) It was a fight between landowners, agriculture & industry. This was the main source of contention. They did not abolish slavery of altruistic feelings. In any case, despite this celebration, Blacks are ignored & humiliated. Besides their lives are in danger as well.
People whom the US & the EU are so condescending towards, have a much better understanding of what is going on in the world.
Except the North and South contention was over slavery: Debt slavery. The Banking Empire played the North and South against each other so the British could have a better chance of invading.
“Have designs already been formed to sever the Union? This great and glorious Republic would soon be broken into a multitude of petty States, without commerce, without credit… loaded with taxes to pay armies… trampled upon by the nations of Europe.”
~ President Andrew Jackson, 1837, 26 years before the Civil War https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfEBupAeo4
If this were not about slavery, the US would have skipped the war and did what England did: “Free” the slaves and keep everyone under debt slavery.
“Slavery is likely to be abolished by the war power and all chattel slavery abolished. This I and my European friends are in favor of, for slavery is but the owning of labor and carries with it the care of the laborers, while the European plan, led on by England, is that capital shall control labor by controlling wages.”
~ “The Hazard Circular,” 1862
Riiight…they want to triple their population, they can solve the problem easy easy. Just bring millions and millions of arabs and africans.
But they wont because they are Nationalist first and foremost and, like all Nationalists, they are very race-realist. Always funny when anti-Zionist Nationalists get all “anti racist” for Public Relations.
What struck me was the faces of these Iranian policemen. To use Khamenei’s term, they look “morally healthy.” If eyes are windows into a person’s soul, their souls look pretty good to me—good, strong souls that are in reasonably good control of the appetites and passions of the human animal they inhabit. Now if you were to look at a gathering of American cops; would you see that? Maybe in some exceptional cases, but the rest? Spiritually ill, I would say. Thuggish, brutal, indifferent to others’ pain; fearful and disrespectful of those they have sworn to protect and to serve, ready to lash out in anger and to use deadly force with minimal provocation. As Stalin once pointed out, the quality of the staff determines everything (всё решают кадры). And he was right. The Americans simply lack the people to solve their problems. But they have plenty of gung-ho uniformed thugs who can, and will, make their problems much worse.
I don’t know much about the Iranian police but Khamenei’s personal auxiliary force the Basij is well known for their terror tactics especially against students who organize and demonstrate. The cruel and unusual treatment of the Baha’is in Iran is also well documented.
Making judgments about people’s character, positive of negative. based on facial video recordings is a strange and postmodern affliction, IMO.
Khamenei can make valid claims about the degeneration of the US and the Occupying Forces in our cities but he can also be a hypocrite standing in the same filth that comes with all authoritarian regimes.
Mohamed.
@ “Mohamed”
What on Earth are you talking about?… What “woman created in a man” … what utter nonsense are you writing here?… It has absolutely nothing to do with Ayatollah’s wise address to the police in this video.
I think Mohamed is alluding to Transgender types….you know like…
“I always felt that I should have been a woman” like Bradley aka Chelsea Manning.
Modern sugery can accomodate such changes.
Many thanks!
Salam,
Mohamed.
Yes, it is quite the shame that a country and man vilified by the “West” has a morality far beyond any of its so-called leaders.
@ Outlaw Historian
True, that is exactly what I think also.
This “beautiful” talk is a good example of taqiyya.
and your comment a good exampled of a empty, unsubstantiated ad hominem. clearly, you lack any fact based and logically processed argument.
Three things you do not know about Islam, see – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgsmmzxEUY
(sorry, having difficulty inserting link) I like all your work concerning the Ukraine.
Jeff,
So you think you picked up one word along the way and now try to squeeze it for maximum effect? Give your ignorant comment some credibility?
Taqiyya is a Shia doctrine which applies to concealing the fact you’re a Shia when faced with death or severe bodily harm, born from an age when they were(are) heavily persecuted by the Sunni.
Tell me how does that apply here, a speech given in his home country as the ruler thereof no less, for his own followers?
Salam Jeff,
You are absolutely correct.
Best regards,
Mohamed
Salam Anonymous,
My reply is to you and not to Jeff.
Best regards,
Mohamed
Anonymous
I don’t believe my comment is ignorant, and as far as your credibility, taqiyya is mentioned in numerous Quaranic passages and is not simply a Shia doctrine.
To begin your research, start at http://www.thereligionofpeace.com
Jeff,
I am not sure what subtitles you were reading or even which video you were viewing.
Salam Jeff,
The first person is to use Taqiyya as previously mentioned above by me. Since then till today the Jews are practicing Taqiyya, when they hide their true religion under persecution. It is basically, survival.
Best regards,
Mohamed
Fact is police brutality is an indication of a society in decline, regressing from civilization to babarism.
http://www.peakprosperity.com/blog/92427/rising-police-aggression-telling-indicator-our-societal-decline
I thought she/he made a very cogent presentation.

I dont blame them for being super angry at all…
No, policy brutality is NOT “worldwide”.
May I ask which are the countries where the natives are not afraid of their police ?
(not trolling, but really curious to know)
Before making pronouncements about such a case as this you must spend time following the issue, just as it is necessary to study events in Ukraine.

Here is a link from Democracy Now, which has created an archive or articles on police brutality in the US.

Police Murder by Van Ride
@ Copper Penny,
A couple of questions have arisen after reading your comment [ones that you don’t have to answer, of course].
a) Are you [like me] a white person?
b) Have you ever been [unlike me] arrested?
c) Have you ever talked to individuals [like really bad, bad, criminals] that have been ‘interrogated in an enhanced manner‘ by cops?
d) What are your resources on which you’ve based your conclusions?
Thank you.
DR:
What does white have to do with brutal treatment?
Can only arrested discuss the issue?
Can a person have understanding and empathy without talking to really bad,bad criminals?
What resources meet some criteria you might have or is that a feint in your argumentative style?
@ Counterpoint,
a) What does white have to do with brutal treatment? – Ask any, random black person.
b) Can only arrested discuss the issue? – A person who’s been arrested would be able to give us a firsthand perspective from the ‘inside.’
c) Can a person have understanding and empathy without talking to really bad,bad criminals? – Would you then know what having been ‘interrogated in an enhanced manner‘ by cops feels like?
You are not a “white person,”
[MOD: Do not repost garbage which was deleted the first time. Abusive contents will not be published]
He is one to talk about police brutality. How many people they hanged this year already for ‘offenses against religion’ ?
FLOR solitaria: now you are really trolling. If you have nothing intelligent to say, then simply remain silent.
@ Saker
Sorry. Mixed up blogs.
If someone in a comparable position in America spoke in such a way, he would be an embarrassment. The meek, however, will inherit the earth.
May 1 German article:
US committee decides massive weapon delivery to the Ukraine
http://deutsche-wirtschafts-nachrichten.de/2015/05/01/us-ausschuss-beschliesst-massive-waffen-lieferung-an-die-ukraine/
I couldnt lett this go untutched, saker.

Your speech is …………. [MOD: No, just no. Keep to topic, no personal criticism of other commenters, thanks.]
Dearest mikael,
You seem to have the wrong information. There are more practicing LGBT in Iran and Middle East than they are in the rest of the world.
You seems to have learned your Islam from Western Media.
Salam,
Mohamed
@ Mahomed
Great post, Saker. Now, for something more light-hearted: How Western media would cover Baltimore if it happened elsewhere.
Believe it or not, this was actually published in the Washington Post!
Wow,that article is exactly right.
@Grieved:

“It was a just snapshot in time that was frozen, It was horrible. The smell of popcorn. The smell of fear and death in the room.” – Detective Matthew Ingui, testifying at defendant James Holmes’ trial.
Anyone knows what ‘fear‘ smells like?
In literary terms, it generally refers to piss and/or sh*t.
@ Matt,
Q; In literary terms, it [fear] generally refers to piss and/or sh*t.
R; What happens when a person dies?
They lose their fear.
From the politically incorrect version of the Oxford English Dictonary:
Smell of Fear
noun.
Come-on!
” Pot calling the kettle black.”
It is but why not if he says truth.
“Come-on!”
Indeed. The good Ayatollah smells a chance to rant against his enemy USA, but we shouldn’t be too impressed with the human rights record of Iran.
No worries, there is no lack of opportunity to ‘rant’ against the USA, would Khamenei (or anyone else) be so inclined.
Rock on.
thanks Saker, for posting this…I sent it to some friends…its good for us to see the Middle East as it really is.

This in turn free them up to keep up with the Kardashians and Modern Family.
western populations have been given 3 purposes by their elite class: be silent, consume (celebrity gossip), and die.
Just read this article. It’s all thoroughly explained there.

There are memorial gatherings of mourners for the victims of Odessa today. This is happening in many cities around the world.
Canada, UK, US gatherings listed here:

“What does he suggests, that police should simply back off and let the mob rule?”
The police could go after the crooks causing the Orwellian policies behind the crime… Treason is a pretty serious crime…

Here’s a quote from your Veterans Today link:
We know that this is all part of a long term KM plan to kill, wound, disable or weaken American Men, especially the young males so they will be unable to defend America from a complete KM take-down and transformation of America into GAZA II, the World’s largest open air prison camp followed by the mass-murder of all Americans.
I tried to warn you about VT but it seems you really like the taste of that “cool aid”.
Oh Well……..
To be fair, I never said everything in the article made sense, just that the police and military may want to turn against our Orwellian overlords.
Still, the article has a point: The Empire will need to attempt something to bring Americans back under control. I agree that “the mass-murder of all Americans” is clearly not an option because someone needs to be the “gangsters for capitalism.” However, moves to trick Americans into more racket warshave been failing.
With opponents like Russia and Iran strengthening their positions, soon, the banksters will need to go big or go home.
Poppadop:
Fair enough.I’d like to move on at this point.
Be well,sir.

@ Everybody,
What Sayed Ali Khamenei is doing is what is taught to him by Allah, The Prophet and His Master, the First Imam Ali.
[/quote]
So Sayed Ali Khamenei is not doing anything new!
Best regards,
Mohamed

Surprise,suprise……verdict….. “Not guilty!”
Unfortunaly I do not understand the lenguage of Iran. It will be fantastic if you are able to translate.
Best regards
Once you start it, on the right end of the bottom bar, click the square icon “subtitles”. Big easily legible white subtitles will come up.
A quote of Sayed Ali Khamenei’s speech:
People whom the US & the EU are so condescending towards, have a much better understanding of what is going on in the world.
Except the North and South contention was over slavery: Debt slavery. The Banking Empire played the North and South against each other so the British could have a better chance of invading.
“Have designs already been formed to sever the Union? This great and glorious Republic would soon be broken into a multitude of petty States, without commerce, without credit… loaded with taxes to pay armies… trampled upon by the nations of Europe.”
~ President Andrew Jackson, 1837, 26 years before the Civil War
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfEBupAeo4
If this were not about slavery, the US would have skipped the war and did what England did: “Free” the slaves and keep everyone under debt slavery.
“Slavery is likely to be abolished by the war power and all chattel slavery abolished. This I and my European friends are in favor of, for slavery is but the owning of labor and carries with it the care of the laborers, while the European plan, led on by England, is that capital shall control labor by controlling wages.”
~ “The Hazard Circular,” 1862
Great links! (There’s a link to the transcript too.)
There’s another one who was sacrificed to the money junkies.
Was Dominique Strauss-Kahn Trying to Torpedo the Dollar?
Dominique Strauss-Kahn was trying to ruin US dollar
