    sarah!! mein kanzlerin!

    • Anonymous on June 26, 2015  ·  at 6:24 pm EST/EDT

You can have her any time. Germans certainly don’t need her.

      • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 12:34 am EST/EDT

I am a Christian and a European patriot/nationalist (we come in very different kinds) and I listen to all sane voices and Sahras voice is sane. It is a joy to listen to her. My German is not perfect, but I have several times listened to her speaking in the Bundestag and nodded approvingly. I especially like it when she takes on Merkel, who has become the colonial governor of Germany, as I see it. My French is also not perfect, but I like it when Marine Le Pen pulls down the pants of Hollande, who is also a colonial governor. We need more of that. I support the struggle of the people of Southern Europe against the moneymakers, no matter which camp they are in.

I thank Saker for bringing together sane voices from all camps, that is the beauty of this site. I assess the message whoever speaks. Communist, extreme right, conservative etc. does not matter when somebody says something wise. Do not look at somebodys origin or political affiliation, listen to the message. I think it was Elsi who said the cruel war in Donbass was not only about right and wrong, but also about beauty and its opposite. Hola, Elsi, we see some of the beauty on this blog.

If champagner socialist Wangenknecht attacks Merkel, she does so because the disintegration of Germany doesn’t go fast enough for her tastes. This may align with Russian geopolitical interests (or so they think), but it is not in the interest of Germans.

          • Seamus Padraig on June 27, 2015  ·  at 1:08 pm EST/EDT

            Champagne socialist! Disintegration of Germany.

Did you wander over here from Spiegel? Or perhaps the Süddeutsche Zeitung?

            • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 2:42 pm EST/EDT

Ah yes, Spiegel, that hard right, unltra-nationalist rag! When was the last time you left your house?

        • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 9:10 am EST/EDT

If you’re really a European nationalist, you need to pay more attention to the content of this blog. These people are not your friends. In fact some of them want you dead and have said so openly.

        • Seamus Padraig on June 27, 2015  ·  at 1:04 pm EST/EDT

That’s right. It is often held against us anti-imperialists that we are only against The Empire, that we are not ‘for’ anything. But in reality, we stand for a higher principle: the notion that every state, people or civilization should have the right to determine for themselves how their polity and society will be organized and run. It is The Empire which seeks to impose its one-size-fits-all neo-liberal bankster fascism over all the earth; we are for local/national sovereignty.

          • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 2:40 pm EST/EDT

Than you should on the same grounds reject Russian imperialism as you reject US imperialism.

            • Outlaw Historian on June 27, 2015  ·  at 3:34 pm EST/EDT

There’s a very good reason it’s called the Outlaw Empire–it obeys no international laws as it goes about its mass murdering rampaging Imperialism. By comparison, Russia is law abiding and rightfully opposes such murderous rampaging. Those people shot down on the Tunisian beach died as a direct result of the Outlaw Empire’s policies. Clearly, you support such policies and are an outlaw yourself.

              • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 5:22 pm EST/EDT

If you want to argue then address what others have actually said. There is no need to debate online what the voices in your head are saying to you.

  3. Anonymous on June 26, 2015  ·  at 4:51 pm EST/EDT

The NATO military alliance is preparing to implement a more aggressive nuclear weapons strategy in response to alleged “Russian aggression,” according to NATO sources cited by the Guardian Wednesday evening.

Proposed changes include provisions for greater involvement of nuclear forces in ongoing NATO military exercises along Russia’s borders and new guidelines for nuclear escalation against Russia, according to the NATO officials.

The alliance’s nuclear doctrine has been the subject of quiet, informal discussions “on the sidelines” of the ongoing NATO summit. The new policies will be formally articulated and confirmed at an upcoming conference of the alliance’s Nuclear Planning Group, which was rescheduled for an earlier date this week as word got around about the secretive planning.

The news are a little bit faster then Saker :-).

There has been a new round of “islamic terrorist attacks” from Tunisia and Kuwait to France. It seems to me that the Anglo-Zionists are relentessly pushing towards the new great war between the West and Islam.

It is sad that most of the people are brainwashed into stronger and stronger islamophobia (I am reffering to the comments on the websites regarding this new attacks). There is hope however. I found voices which point the finger in the direction of the Zionists.

Is there any hope for the world?

    • Penelope on June 26, 2015  ·  at 11:48 pm EST/EDT

      The Wend,

It appears US will put boots on the ground in Syria very soon. This is their play to tear Syria apart practically at once. Reliable info; it’s by Cartalucci.

      http://nsnbc.me/2015/06/26/us-to-begin-invasion-of-syria/

I guess we are going to find out how determined Iran, Russia & China are, right away.

      • The Wend on June 27, 2015  ·  at 12:53 pm EST/EDT

        Penelope,

tnaks, I just read the text. Yes, I agree, is is up to Russia, China and Iran to decide where and when it is time to finally confront the enemy. I believe they will not allow the Anglo-Zionists to overrun Syria. They didn’t allow it in 2013., I don t see the reason why would they allow it now. Lets see.

        • Seamus Padraig on June 27, 2015  ·  at 1:15 pm EST/EDT

In my opinion, it’s mostly up to Iran. Syria is prinicipally their problem and responsibility. The Iranians must finally decide which side they are on: either SCO or ZATO. The old formula, ‘neither East nor West’, is simply no longer sustainable.

  5. Anonymous on June 26, 2015  ·  at 6:23 pm EST/EDT

Deplorable that RT can only find fringe figures to interview. Even worse these are mostly rigid dogmatists who hate there own people. Are these the kind of allies you want to win over, Saker? Self-hating subversive fifth columnist, which Putin rightfully throws in jail whenever they rear their heads in Russia?

    • Anonymous on June 26, 2015  ·  at 9:30 pm EST/EDT

As opposed to the American media, which sees corrupt oligarchs, Pussy Riot members, Islamic extremists, hated neo-liberal “reformers,” and NGO employees as the “oppressed voice” of Russians “suffering under Putinism?”

For over a decade, almost every poll and election result have shown that less than five percent of Russians support “liberal reformers” determined to impose massive cuts to pensions and social services, slash Russia’s already low 13% flat (income) tax, privatize state assets, deregulate the private sector, and open the Russian economy to unfettered globalization.

How does the US media and government respond?

By insisting that the “liberal reform” parties such as Right Cause would have won any “fair” election, thereby defeating the evil Putin. The fact that Right Cause’s 0.60% of the vote in the 2011 Duma elections placed it behind not only Putin’s United Russia party, but also a Communist Party led by former Soviet hardliners, a center-left party that wants to create a Swedish-style welfare state, an ultra-nationalist party determined to return much of the economy to state control, a socialist party espousing liberalism only in non-economic spheres, and an economically left-wing nationalist party is irrelevant. To American journalists, the 2011 elections will always be a head-to-head battle between Putin and the “liberal reformers” cheated out of an opportunity to cut taxes, “red tape,” and social services.

Between elections, Western journalists constantly portray Alexi Kudrin — whose answer to every oil price (from 40 to 120 dollars/barrel) is to cut pensions, social services, income taxes, and government regulation — “Misha 2%” Kasyanov, Boris Nemtsov, Andrey Illarionov, and German Gref representing an alleged super-majority of Russians who embrace neo-liberal globalization and social services cuts. The fact that Russians vote for parties promising the exact opposite is proof that Russian elections are somehow “unfair.”

    • Penelope on June 27, 2015  ·  at 12:24 am EST/EDT

She’s an admirable, clear-spoken politician w sound opinions

What are your criticisms of her? That she’s “fringe”. That she’s “self-hating”. That she has dogmatic, rigid ideas.

I see: You disagree with her. Sorry, your criticisms are worthless. Try naming an IDEA, then arguing against it. Or is that too abstract for you?

      • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 9:09 am EST/EDT

She’s for globalism and mass immigration. She wants to destroy the identity and finally the physical integrity of the European peoples and especially the Germans, whom she considers more or less as perrennial genetic Nazis. Many older East Germans, who vote for the communists out of nostalgia, are completely unaware about the actual politics of the party and allow themselves to be lulled in by unrealistic promises of state hand outs for the needy (which they think they would be themselves and not masses of strangers newly arrived.)
Wagenknecht though, as a staunch communist and anti-American, wants globalisation to happen under Russian supremacy and not in the form of an American led new world order. She identifies Russia pretty much in the terms of the old Soviet union. I guess that earns her extra brownie points with the poeople here.
She is an enemy of the people.

        • Seamus Padraig on June 27, 2015  ·  at 1:21 pm EST/EDT

Fine. Disagree with her on immigration, or even economics. None of that invalidates her analysis of Cold War 2.

Anyway, if you truly prefer Washington’s ‘new world order’ to BRICS, then you’re at the wrong blog entirely. Go back to your Wall Street Journal.

          • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 2:38 pm EST/EDT

I prefer neither. But Wagenknecht is a false alternative. RT interviews her, because Russia and she have a common enemy in America and Nato. That doesn’t make her motives and goals any less malignant. You could under the premises form an alliance with ISIS and Kim Jong Un. Well, some people here do actually fancy this.

            • Seamus Padraig on June 27, 2015  ·  at 8:47 pm EST/EDT

Personally, I believe NATO would fit the definition of “malignant” just fine, but that’s probably just one of many issues where we’d never see eye to eye.

              • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 11:57 pm EST/EDT

I never said I support Nato. Perhaps you should read the comments you are going to reply to.

        • Bessarab on June 27, 2015  ·  at 8:23 pm EST/EDT

An “enemy of the people” :
A term used widely in Nazi Germany : Volksfeind

Wagenknecht promotes upholding the constitutional duties

towards asylmn seekers in Germany and Europe, NOT the

total NWO flooding policy with any emigrant.

          Cheers,

          • Anonymous on June 27, 2015  ·  at 11:55 pm EST/EDT

There are no “constitutional duties” towards asylum seekers. A constitution can by definition only be about the rights of citizens. Asylum isn’t a “right”, but something that is granted out of mercy or generosity. And as far as Wagenknecht is concerned, anybody crossing the border should be given citizenship immedeately.

“Enemy of the people” is an expression from the French revolution. But certainly any communist system on earth has used a similiar expression as well. Your attempted Nazi-smear is plain dumb. And how else would you call someone pursuing policies which are hostile towards the people?

    • Bessarab on June 27, 2015  ·  at 8:07 pm EST/EDT

      Mistakes :
      1) Sarah Wagenknecht is anything but a ” fringe figure ” in spite of the sad small size of the German
parliamentary opposition now ; the more admirable her bravery in standing up most eloquently ,
more “manly” than most Bundestag (dis)members : upright – well clad -in the interest of the German
people against the establishment, resulting in a very high quote of listeners (u-tube etc.) [This I say not voting for any of the
parties or following any “sides” nor “-isms”]
      2) “these” . Who ? One is too used to yankee stink tank excretionary “experts”.
      3) Frau Wagenknecht “hates” ??? A vile assumption. One shall look at her eyes a. face!
      4) She is anything but a “dogmatist”. Far beyond vulgar Marxism. Much too erudite and heartful.
[Crazy : here I am an emigrantson with communist killed ancestors having to defend a socialistic
      politician ! ]
5)”allies” : It is uncalled for to assume , however polemically , that this site is wanting to “win over ”
anyone and thus constitutes a feeble attempt to urinate into Saker’s boot. Desist!
      6) First : unfortunately the government of the RF (which does not only consist of its valiant
president) does NOT “throw in jail” [how Murdochy!] 5.th collumn subversives . Sorry ’bout
that. They are now made to “come out”.
Secondly : “Self-hating” There is this zionist polemic that jewish people who voice critical
remarks towards their realm are automatically brandished as >selfhaters>> Wagenknecht is NOT a jewish name ; Sarah is a common christian name in
Germany now. As a Russian orthodox grown up in USUK occupied WGermany ,I
know. For some still a subhuman !?. Love gypsies. Black fellaws ‘re good blokes 2.

The analnomously expressed insinuation reveals a brown background .
Hitherto unlabeled urinary samples shall not be spilled here.
      Hail !

      • Anonymous on June 28, 2015  ·  at 1:31 am EST/EDT

Wagenknecht isn’t self-hating. She certainly likes herself quite a bit.
So you’re an “Orthodox” who grew up comfortably in West Germany but your first reflex is to insiuate that Germans are Nazis (without prove of course, just something your feel, like the rest of your comment is pure emotion and nothing else). Why don’t you live in proud Russia then, but instead among those evil Germans?

PS. Is there any way to italicize a quote?

    • Kat Kan on June 26, 2015  ·  at 11:14 pm EST/EDT

To italicise a quote, if I type it here, you won’t see the codes. Just above the comment box there is a line “Click here to get more info on formatting” just click the + sign for a cheat sheet.

    • Daniel Rich on June 27, 2015  ·  at 12:07 am EST/EDT

      @ Yvonne,

      Q; italicize

R: I could show you, but then it wouldn’t show up.

Second best, click on ‘Click here to get more info on formatting‘ right underneath the ‘Leave a Reply‘ line and you’ll be able to ‘italicize‘ you lines.

      Hope this helps.

    What has just happened?

First, the US facilitated “color revolution” in Armenia started this week.

Second, on Thursday night Pres. Putin called Pres. Obama. Putin, in all probability, asked Obama what would it take to stop Armenia sliding off the cliff and into the abyss?
    http://rusvesna.su/news/1435299493

Today, Friday, July 26 – Miller said, “Gazprom, Russia will discuss with Ukraine conditions of gas transfer after 2019.”

Remember, how firm Russia has been on not transferring anything via Ukraine ever?

Ukrainian dream to keep sitting on a “pipe” might come true. That’s why we call it a pipedream, as an opposite to an American dream, that just went up in smoke.

Reaction of the Ukrainians? Jubilant. “It means, we are on the right path” working with lawyers and politicians said the director of the development of Naftogaz´s Yuriy Vitrenko said.
    http://www.vedomosti.ru/business/news/2015/06/26/598260-naftogaz-prokommentiroval-novuyu-pozitsiyu-gazproma-po-tranzitu-gaza-cherez-ukrainu

No, dummy. It’s only means that Russia and the US agreed on a tradeoff, with the US promises to take its hands off Armenia, while Russia promises to talk about paying welfare to fascist NATO occupied Ukraine.

    Promise is a keyword here.

Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, you are out. Not fascist enough to get financial support in exchange for a Russia’s ally that are being held hostage by the US terrorist racketeers.

We know that the US if going to break its promise. I hope, Putin got it all in writing.

    • Anonymous on June 26, 2015  ·  at 10:48 pm EST/EDT

RE: Scott What makes you think that Putin believes for a minute that the next President of the United States will keep any of Obama’s policies in place besides the most belligerently stupid ones?
And why would Putin deal on Armenia when he does not have to do so? And do you seriously think Ukraine in 2017 is going to be the same as today?

    • Penelope on June 26, 2015  ·  at 11:56 pm EST/EDT

Scott, don’t jump to conclusions, Baby. Gazprom’s talking to Ukraine about next gas contract is gas FOR UKRAINE– not gas being transited across Ukraine to Europe.

But take a look at this: Syria’s going up in flames.

Not sure if the link works, but for anyone freaking about Syria..

The Syrian Arab News Agency – which reports not just daily, but virtually hourly on Syria – has nothing about a US ‘invasion.’

Increased ISIL attacks yes, but met with bombs from the Syrian Air Force and the Syrian Aram Army on the ground. If anything, the two recent massacre of civilians – 120 in one case – has intensified Syrian resolve and the takfiris seem to be more indiscriminately violent because they’re panicking.

Oh, and Lavrov is there for negotiations, while Assad is drumming up support from the BRICS (a *very* interesting angle, never saw that coming….Lavrov’s idea?)
