First group of aircraft has left Hmeymim airbase for permanent location airfields in Russia
SU-25 are taking off from Syria on the way home
Second group of aircraft on the way home to Russia for a tip over 5000klm
Aviation crews arrived at the Western military district airfield (Voronezh region)
Russian pilots are being greeted back home in Voronezh
the third video is just fine… it looks like in the way home, they dropped a few bombs in Syria on the ISIS just to remind them : ” we’ll come back…”
Those actually are droptanks for fuel.
Well done guys, hope Yaall…or the birds don’t have to go back.
R.I.P. for the pilot of the SU24.
What I am most impressed with is, that the Russian diplomatic core have managed to convince the opposition, that supplying the barbarians with SAMs – a la Afghanistan, will not be tolerated – hope I didn’t speak too soon.
Welcome home!

“Western media did their best to ignore it or to twist its meaning. Regardless of what you think or don’t think of Putin (like the sun and the moon, he does not exist for you to cultivate an opinion) this is probably the most important political speech since Churchill’s “Iron Curtain” speech of March 5, 1946.”

Dear Scott,
Thank you for these video’s. They had a big event, presentation and speech today for all the forces. It was shown live on RT.
What Pres. Putin said during his specch was also very telling.

Its good to see Russia acknowledging and honouring its forces and those who died.
Rgds,

A good article on RT, where Putin says Russian forces can be back in Syria ,”within hours” if needed again:
“Putin: Russia may deploy forces back to Syria ‘in mere hours’ if necessary”

They deserve a warm welcome. This small force as Saker accurately described it broke the US strangle hold on Syria. Well done
