As “Bild am Sonntag” reported, referring to US-intelligence circles, last week already leading delegations of the CIA and Russian foreign intelligence service SVR met in Moscow. The secret talks were aimed at coordinating the joint military cooperation in the Syrian war. The Americans intend to support future Russian military action against IS in Syria with findings out of their own espionage, so “Bild am Sonntag“.
Especially the high increase of IS-fighters and the stream of refugees out of Syria had forced the two great powers to act concertedly. Foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier (SPD), who is going to receive his US-colleague John Kerry in Berlin on Sunday, said towards “Bild am Sonntag“: “Finally there is movement in the Syrian crisis again. I appreciate that Washington and Moscow don´t talk about each other, but with each other again about the situation in Syria and want to compare notes about military matters.”

Yep, it will be used for U.S. to try and control what Russia is doing and get Russia to help it in its goals. They will use it to get their army on the ground and establish occupation zones, all under a plan where they are cooperating with Russia. These occupation zones will be used to break up Syria and as a launching pad for further attacks and sabotage against the legal government of Syria. The U.S. will maneuver Russia, to the best of its ability, to other regions of Syria while it works its way into and through Syria, and sets up permanent bases.

Charlie Rose, morning “anchor,” said this morning to be en route to U.S. after visit to Moscow for interview with President Putin for Sunday evening program, “60 Minutes.” Apparently they will be showing snippits on the morning news (airs 7 – 9 a.m., EDT) during this week. With whole interview to be shown Sunday evening.
Charlie Rose was onstage w/Putin and others at the St. Petersburg economic forum and conducted an interview at that time, which was a little awkward for Rose as Putin issued a few “gotcha” answers, such as his chuckle at Charlie’s asking if he would be willing to help convince Assad to “step down,” accompanied by a short quip about how Americans presume to tell other countries what to do.
Putin’s performance in that interview was near perfection — very interesting that this “secret trip” of CBS’s Charlie Rose seems to coincide w/ alleged trip of CIA consultants. Appears that Rose is now an asset of the State Department (or, perhaps the CIA? Maybe CIA and state department are now one and the same — oh, add in a general or two. And maybe the Pope as well?). Oiling the diplomatic round-house tracks for reversing “Assad must go”? Lots of coyness from D.C. on question of will Putin and Obama meet while Putin is here for UN speech. New Thierry Meyssan article announces that 2,000 CSTO are already on the ground in Syria.
He announced this on Syrian TV. He had previously indicated in an earlier article that at the Spt 15 meeting w Putin the decision had been taken. Apparently they feel there is ALREADY UN approval since NATO’s coalition is already acting. Plus, of course, they are welcomed in as allies.

Well, I missed the whole article until now, but if Mr. Meyssan is right it indicates that the US long ago decided on a rather brilliant, lightning tack for execution immediately upon signing the deal with Iran.
Meyssan’s thesis is that it’s Russia and the CSTO that are playing catch-up, and that they moved to force the US Coalition “… to clarify their policies.” presumably regarding Assad’s government, and to make the operation “more efficient”. The implication is that Russia and Iran were caught flat-footed as the Coalition suddenly turned on their creature, and were forced to move quickly lest the US drive ISIS out of Syria into the CSTO states and leave Syria open to regime change (perhaps allowing Erdogan to fulfill his Ottomanic dreams).
Meyssan’s article completely inverts what I thought had been going on, so I’m having a bit of a tough time swallowing it at one go. The “3,000 dead jihadists” sound particularly unlikely as there’s been nothing I can find corroborating the enormous scope and success of the operation. Wouldn’t the whole Middle East have been abuzz with it?
The rest of the thesis has an uncanny ring to it.

There is no way in bloody hell that Russia should trust the United States to fight against the Islamic State terrorists–the same terrorists that the USA and its allies (Saudi Arabia, Turey Qatar, Jordan, and Israel) are providing logistical, military, and financial support to.
