I just got a comment which I think warrants a reply as a separate post. Here is this comment:
Please resume publishing ukraine sitreps in your morning. The Anna News published in your evening is already old news and is not what made this site so valuable and timely.
Since this is not the first time that I get that kind of comment I feel that I need to remind everybody of the following:
First, this blog is a “one man show” (with now some most valuable help from “Juan” and Mindfriedo). Besides the blog I have a life which includes a family (a wonderful wife and three beautiful kids), a full time job and a graduate thesis (in theology) to write (which I have completely neglected since the crisis began). I am not a robot and I therefore also “indulge” in such “luxuries” as eating, sleeping, and sometimes (though now very rarely) reading or exercising. For all that I have 24 hours max. Over the past months I have spend about 5-9 hours per day working on this blog (just answering emails takes me several hours each day). I do understand that the SITREPs are important, but I cannot do more than what I can do. Sorry.
Second, Juan and Mindfriedo are not robots either, but human beings with their own lives. Neither of them are a “one man news agency”. There is a reason why AP or Reuters hire lots of people: one guy cannot do it all. If one of them is “late” with a SITREP one day, please accept this gracefully and remember that they don’t get a single cent for their huge work.
Yesterday’s ANNA’s news bulletin missed the subtitles for the 2nd half. Well, I did not feel like I had the moral right to email them to let them know simply because I do not know the circumstances which made them fail to provide the full captions and when I posted the video I thought “let’s be thankful for what they did produce” rather than frustrated by what they missed.
I ask for the same understanding here. For example, please understand that if I miss a nasty comment it is because I have to read through (or skim through) and moderate hundreds of comments each day (I often have to do that while waiting at a light in the car). And when I am not fast enough, I get angry posts accusing me of censorship. I won’t even go into the “typos” thing (though I very much thank the person who counted the 4000+ words of one of my analyses produced in a few hours and who said that a few typos in the middle are to be expected).
So forgive me, but I will miss bad comments, I will be late with analyses and SITREPs, I will have tons of typos, I also will have days when I am literally in physical pain from anguish and rage over what is going on. Often I am exhausted and I “go on fumes” so I am get really sick and tired of smug commentators picking at this or that word, expression or “meme” I should not have used. If they don’t like what I do – let them do it better themselves. I can only do as much as I can do. Sorry, I am only human.
The French blog mirror is up! |
On the good side of things, besides the fantastic help of Juan and Mindfriedo, a group of French-speakers got organized by themselves, without any help from me, and organized a French-language mirror of this blog. You check it out here:
http://www.vineyardsaker.fr/
Now THAT is truly *fantastic* help and I want to express a heartfelt MERCI DE TOUT COEUR LES AMIS!! to all those involved (Needless to say, they are also all volunteers who do that work on their “spare” time!).
I am still in desperate need of a “translations manager” would could take over the task for organizing and producing translations, especially of videos (transcribed or, ideally, subtitled and uploaded). I now have (in theory) at least eight Russian->English translators on standby and one Ukrainian->Russian but I literally do not have the time to contact them, see who is available, split up the work, coordinate it, put it all together, etc. It might sound incredible, but I really do not physically have the time to do that. So they are all standing by, waiting.
I also have roughly 50 correspondents worldwide who have expressed their willingness to help this blog, and some have sent me some excellent information, but I simply do not have the time to stay in contact with most.
The only way to really help me and this blog is spontaneous self-organization like the French-speakers have done: if you have an idea on how to help this blog – just do it. Likewise, if you have an idea on how to help the people of Novorossia and Auslander’s refugees – also just do it. I personally will gladly use this blog to inform others of your efforts like I did for Auslander’s initiative or like Yuri Dia Konov did by offering his books to donors. Lastly, if you have any ideas on how to increase, organize or coordinate the donations to this blog, I sure would be grateful for them. Every penny I get here is one I don’t have to get elsewhere.
As for the daily Ukraine SITREP – yes, I will get to it as soon as I can. I will try to produce one by tomorrow morning. But if I am late with that, please forgive me.
Kind regards and many thanks,
The Saker
Many thanks for your valuable insights and this great resource, saker.
I hope others will find the time and means to help you, it’s not fair for one person.
Strelkov confirms that the militia is completely encircled in Slavyansk, asks Russia for help (via Gleb Bazov):
http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1s26kt7
Saker, don’t worry about those type of comments. By the time you produce a SITREP Russia may have started directly intervening with the no-fly-zone anyway! If nothing else, the chatter about Russia moving in is approaching a crescendo and lo and behold on the very weekend I suspected it would, the 70th anniversary of Operation Bagration:

Get plenty of sleep — looks like you’re going to need it starting Sunday zero dark while Obama is bombing Iraq, that’s when the angry Russian bear may strike.
You answer e-mails?
Stop.
The criticism that spawned this post was meant as a big compliment. This blog is the most valuable source of info apart from Strelkov’s Russian language reports combined with searching twitter for a variety of words which changeeach day. Tymchuk ismostly just a cheerleader. For instance today started with searching the word айдар on twitter and progressed to searching лиман and finally ямполь. It is too bad that there isno army of Russian “trolls” who could help monitor russianlanguage tweets that often beat translations by 12 hours or more for really important news. @gbazov and @marcq_ do theirbest to translate. There is a huge battle going onnow in Yampol but there is a news blackout even inrussian. Ukrainian twitterers are saying 200 rebels killed and 1800 surrounded but they tend to besuch wishful thinkers and we will probably need to wait until tomorrow or never to find out what reallyhappened today. We are seeing virtually no analysis anywhere with maps that show the viability of certain positions such as 100 ukr tanks linedup along a country road inthe forest.

I concur. At the very least triage em’.
Saker may be interested that several Evangelical Christian ‘alternative media’ personalities in the U.S. sources’ are telling them Russian intervention in Ukraine is imminent, though whether Russia completely encircling and humiliating junta forces east of the Dnieper will be sufficient to ‘break up NATO’ I leave to your imagination:
http://www.stevequayle.com/index.php?s=33&d=966
As reported on my site and in prior interviews C.O.L [City of London] is expecting a Russian response within the middle of July which the outcome will be takeover of Ukraine, the end of NATO, and the defeat on the global stage of the United States.
I do think the Germans are going to say Nein to hard sector sanctions and this will expose cracks in NATO, as will the alliance’s inability to do anything except for Poland running some symbolic F-16 air patrols over Lviv hundreds of miles from Russian troops after Russia destroys Kiev’s air forces.
Br. Saker:
Thank you for your BEST. God Bless
Zainab
@ Saker You are appreciated! We are all blessed tremendously by the hard work your doing! Thank you, haters will do their best to make your efforts look not top notch, we all know the reality. Blessing!
Saker,
As always thanks for everything you do. Yours is the first site I tune into in the morning, and the last in the evening. Keep up the excellent work.
BTW, keep Anna News – that lady is really hot, much prettier I suspect than you…. ;-)
Fellow commenters:
Put your $$ where your words are.
Saker loses money when his time is consumed here.
Send something to keep the Vineyard green.
Support the refugee effort. RT showed video of the Crimean-based effort in that city (Sevastopol) where your money will go.
$$$. You can sit on it or use it.
I am not wealthy. But I’d rather “risk” a few bucks helping these efforts than fail to act.
So many commenters want Putin to risk Russia and the globe, and some of us won’t do the simplest thing.
It’s none of my business who has or hasn’t helped.
But so far, as a group, we can do better. And if we were doing better, Saker would not be upset at the stupid remarks he receives, and we’d hear from the guys working with the refugee effort that we truly made a difference.
Talk is cheap.
I want to thank for the work you are doing. I miss a SITREP if it does not come in time, but do not blame anybody. Rather I am worried about “Juan” whether he is up and alive. The region he is reporting from is dangerous enough to warrant concerns. So all the best for all of you and hold up the good work.
Aw c’mon, Victor, the girls would like some eye-candy too! And somehow, I think this guy is really good-looking… ;~)
Saker, there’s not much point in begging you to set yourself some limits here bc you’re just never going to listen. ;~) I assume you know how very deeply appreciated you are, but do also know that there are people, with no translation skills, for example, who could help you moderate comments: you set the standards, we merely follow the orders. And that could save you a whole lot of time, and aggravation, couldn’t it?
I’d also like to make another plea for pennies, nickels and dimes/day, donated on a monthly basis to provide toys for the kids Auslander’s people are helping escape all the horrors. Those kids have nothing, and they really need something soft, of their own. We can do this — and I’m truly, truly astounded that so far Lucky McGriff is the ONLY ONE who has expressed any interest.
Please do think about it, ok? There’s so little we can do about what’s going on over there — but here is something concrete — helping a frightened, lost child. How can you not?
I’ll be happy to set up a separate account with Auslander and his church if there are more than two of us and PayPal allows for monthly payments, so just let me know so I can tell him to set up an account.
Narcissists like to make people feel guilty. They love to criticize. It’s part of their personality disorder. One of the symptoms of Narcissistic personality disorder is that they lack a conscience. Prisons are full of them. Not serious people.
Now I feel blackmailed. I regard myself as neutral on the Russian Federation side (but not the Great Russian seperatists in Ukraine). Which means I let rip at sentimental nationalism now and again. The is probably a distraction from blogging and the blog is necessary. It is more contemplative and nuanced than RT’s presentation of a single point of view.
Email tracking. Forgot to set check box.
I do have a suggestion, maybe put this on the side bar so people that can give will remember to give.
Auslander reports on refugees from the Ukraine and how to help them
Other than that do what you will when you want I have no problem with that:)

Saker –
I bcc’d you on the email to multiple journalists regarding Interpreter Mag’s sleazy claim that they were ‘duped’ into asking State Dept. spokeswoman Jen Psaki a question about Kiev forces using white phosphorous. I also made it clear to those journos based on Gleb Bazov’s translation that samples have been obtained in the area around Slovyiansk and are presumably on their way back to Russia for chemical analysis so Kiev’s laughable claims that the video footage of WP use all came from Fallujah in 2004 won’t hold up and they shouldn’t look like idiots when they fall apart.
Okay Americans, there’s an Iraq War vote coming up in the House tomorrow — or, more properly, Barbara Lee is sponsoring two amendments to prevent funding for the AUMF, and prevent funding for combat troops over there.
No, it’s not enough and no, you don’t even have to like her — but if your Congresscritter hears from a sufficient number of irate Americans, perhaps he’ll think twice before marching in lockstep.
People don’t want this. Let’s keep it from happening.
Of course you have a life and anyone jerking your chain ( or trying to ) should at least be ashamed or at best, move along.
Brings to mind that exceptional personality trait that is very unattractive and deserves to get ignored.
Peace, Karin

Ukrainian forces attack eastern cities after giving rebels ultimatum
Pro-Russia fighters refuse to surrender after ‘anti-terrorist operation’ gives them three hours to give up arm
theguardian.com, Thursday 19 June 2014 08.37 EDT
The headline is encouraging. We are actually getting news – the Kiev government is attacking Ukrainians in cities.
It’s down hill after that but let’s give them credit for an accurate headline.
“Ukrainian government forces have attacked several cities in the country’s east after an ultimatum failed to prompt pro-Russia rebels to surrender, apparently leaving the peace plan of the president, Petro Poroshenko, in tatters.
“The fresh assaults came as Nato said Russia had resumed a miltary buildup near Ukraine. The secretary general, Anders Fogh Rassmussen, described it as “a very regrettable step backward”. He said it appeared Moscow wanted to keep the option to intevene.
Hold on a minute. Rasmussen is captured saying that NATOs buildup is “very regrettable.” That’s how it reads. He might also have added ...and I’m such a loser!.
The further we get into the article, the more revealing it gets. The ceasefire is discussed along with an “ultimatum” issues by Poroshenko. It’s a shocking statement delivered to the rebels with implications for the citizens in cities:
[Kiev authorities] “dropped leaflets on the city of Krasny Liman, which has seen heavy fighting in past weeks, offering rebels a “last chance” to save their lives by putting down their weapons.
“You will all be destroyed! There will be no further warnings!”
There’s the meat of the events. The Kiev government is threatening to destroy “all” of the rebels in these cities. Therefore, they are threatening to destroy everyone in the cities mentioned since you can’t destroy all of the rebels without the rest of the people being destroyed as well.
The headline should have read: POROSHENKO THREATENS TO WIPE OUT A CITY TO QUELL REVOLT
Don’t hold your breath waiting for Human Rights Watch or others to notice this.
Saker,
do not do any attention to that people who criticize even the smallest detail. I think only want exhaust you.
My problem with this blog is quite different, I really do not have the time to read everything of your daily production and of the commenters zone, where I find very interesting information too.
This week I take a heinous delay yet, even I couldn´t explore how to do the donation for Auslander´s refugees. A big hug for all the children.
I´m afraid I´ll have to catch up on the weekend.
P.S: do not worry about the typos, I´m still the champion!
Thanks a lot, take care and God bless you and the same to your contributors, Juan, Auslander, Mindifredo and the “french connection”.

I reported my thoughts that armor would soon be on the side of the militia. They need 1000 experienced personnel to make these roll and shoot.
The tide can turn on the ground. It isn’t quick and overnight, but the rapid reaction forces Russia has just placed along the border are the hard fist of the ground troops of RF. They have helos and jets and missile batteries backing them.
I think soft stools and colitis will soon strike the Ukie Army.

Lots of different articles linked and other info there. Regarding Russian military moves, see this:
“21-22, According to some data:
“Russia is moving to the Ukrainian border four battalion tactical groups of the two airborne assault divisions (7th and 76th), 56th airborne assault brigade and 19-th separate motorized rifle brigade. In the border of the Central and Ural military districts continue to move Trucks loaded with BMP-3 armored vehicles, military trucks with the bodies of tents, armored cars “Tiger”, benzozapravke, military medical cars .
Istres*fighters and attack helicopters of the Russian air force began patrolling the Russian-Ukrainian border. In addition, military ships of the black sea Fleet of Russia begin patrolling the sea of the Russian-Ukrainian border and the neutral waters of the sea of Azov 12 miles (22,2 kilometers) from Ukrainian banks.
The number Throwable troops will be increased. The transfer is made to ensure border security for several reasons.
First, due to repeated violations of the State of the Russian Federation on the part of the Ukrainian military formations.
Secondly, due to the fact that Ukraine has decided to unilaterally start the demarcation of the border with Russia (conducting of the state border line on the ground with the designation of its border marks) and construction on the border of protective structures. If this is done unilaterally, from the fascist Ukraine should expect to capture part of the Russian territory.
Third, the national security Council of Ukraine (SNBU), blatantly defying Convention on the open sea from 1958 and the United Nations Convention on the law of the sea of 1982, banned the entry of Russian ships in the following Russian ports of the sea of Azov:
1. International cargo port of Eysk, Rostov region,
2. “Caucasus” on Chushka in Temryuk district of the Krasnodar region,
3. Kerch in Crimea Federal district of Russia,
4. “Crimea” in the settlement of Zhukovka Crimean Federal district of Russia,
5. Azov – sea port in the Rostov region is one of the oldest ports in the South of Russia,
6. Taganrog sea trading port in the Rostov region.
7. Temryuk, Krasnodar Krai.
This demarche of the Ukrainian side through diplomatic canons requires a symmetric response – ban Russia entering the Ukrainian ships in Ukrainian ports Berdyansk and Mariupol.
Fourth, exercises associated with the increase in activity of the NATO forces in the region.
Fifth, symmetrical response to the increasing number of Ukrainian party of military equipment on the border springboard.
Sixth, the establishment in Lugansk and Donetsk regions sanitary cordons, and the lines of delimitation necessary to ensure the safety of the population of border regions of the Russian Federation.
Seventh, for the likely introduction of a no-fly zone over South-East of Ukraine.
Eighth, in connection with the failure of the Kyiv regime promises ceasefire.
Ninth, in connection with the attack on the Russian diplomatic establishments in Ukrainian cities.” (C)
Ask not what Putin, Russia, Strelkov or Donbass can do to save us from the evil (financial) empire that’s engulfing the world, while we’re sitting on internet drinking Coke ! But let’s ask ourself what can we do (in case the ones mentioned above will be defeated) ? Do we have a plan B or plan C to continue the resistance ? How many understand the root of this evil power, the one being the main reason for which Jesus himself was killed ? The power of money creators and money changers, whose tables were smashed by Jesus during the only moment when he became aggressive. Without understanding the enemy and his power (derived from this huge PONZI scheme known by the naives as US$), every attempt to gain liberty will be doomed to fail.
Michael C, news from the front says the attacks took place and were successful in at least a couple of cases in causing the militias main forces to retreat (but not destroyed), but then the attackers did not hold their ground and there were still remaining pockets of resistance. Never the less things look grim for some of the towns. If there is not mass uprising or outside help the ethnic clensing seems set to proceed and accelerate as fast as the junta can supply additional troops and armor.
Saker,
What did i tell you about burning out?
I repeat: You’re in a marathon not a sprint.
If you burn out it will shut you down for MONTHS even years, we’re talking real PHYSIOlogical damage to the brain, endocrine system and cardiovascular damage. It is not a situation of ethereal psychological damage, it is real physical damage.
You can potentially lose 4 % of your total neural capacity; i.e. losing 4 billion neurons. (or more)
Not to mention the damage and dusruption you’ll impose on your family.
So take your foot of the pedal before you shred your gears.
Best regards.
Saker, most of us are very grateful for your efforts to bring a quality information out to the world. Please do not get distracted by some commenters who, I am sure, just don’t understand what’s involved in this kind of work. Some might be new to the blog and do not know who behind it is.
I personally wouldn’t even know how I would survive this trying time without your sane and quite often optimistic (yes!) take on the situation. You give me strength to go through the day most of the days. My parents live on the Black sea cost in Russia, 5 hours drive from Crimea. My best friend from university lives 40 km from Lugansk. I live in a constant state of anxiety and frustration.
Your blog gives me some hope and provides me am outlet, an escape from an Orwellian world that is around me in Canada. Please take a good care of yourself and take whatever is necessary to keep your mind and spirit free from unthoughtful comments that are bound to happen no matter what you do. Just ignore them, please.
P.S. I posted a comment in one of the earlier threads about a Russian women who can help translating to/from French. She really wants to be involved and do something to help get the word out. How can I put her in touch with the French group that got self-organized? Anyone who reads this post from the French team, how can I contact you?

So, given the info from БОТ ТАК’s link, did Putin give Poroshenko an ultimatum on the phone today? Did he get some assurance from Merkel? Or perhaps he just laid out the facts and stated Russia’s position… The Donbass miners surely have their answer at any rate – the attacks will not stop.
In the early 70s a schoolmate went on foreign study to that jewel on the Mediterranean Beruit. He described it to me as the most wonderful city. I had another schoolmate who married a Serbian girl and settled in Sarajevo – a beautiful cosmopolitan city. I have a friend from Aleppo – a wonderful and beautiful city with many ancient churches that served the Christian community there along with many mosques. What happened to these places? People of many faiths and persuasions lived without much thought to their neighbor’s religious beliefs. I visited Beruit not too long ago – still a proud city, though much scarred if you scratch the surface. Is peaceful coexistence and cooperation such a sin that it cannot long persist?

Executing POWs and cutting off their ears is an old pastime of American soldiers. American soldiers have a strong tradition of “trophy collection” from enemy dead. Is this more evidence of American mercs in the Ukraine?

В Нацгвардии Украины начато формирование батальона «Крым» (In nazvanii of Ukraine initiated the formation of a battalion “Crimea”)
http://www.vz.ru/news/2014/6/19/691932.html (trans) http://translate.yandex.net/tr-url/ru-en.ru/www.vz.ru/news/2014/6/19/691932.html
“…As reported , the commander punitive battalion of Donbass” Semyon Semchenko, a new division of nazvanii will be called “Crimea”.
On the eve in some mass-media there were messages, that the decision on creation of a battalion “Crimea” was made after a meeting of one of the main sponsors punitive operations in the East of Ukraine Igor Kolomoisky and Mustafa Jemiliev calling itself the leader of the Crimean Tatars [like Kagan and Chalabi sharing a “Brokeback Mountain” moment]. According to this information, the battalion allegedly will come mainly from among the Crimean Tatars.
Representatives of the Crimean Tatar Diaspora this information is not confirmed…”
More evidence the zionazis wont be satisfied with murdering Novorossia, if they get their way. They will also attack Crimea, probably using terrorists tactics in the same cowardly zionazi manner they attack the Caucasus.

Американские корни «Правого сектора» (American roots “Right sector”)
http://www.km.ru/world/2014/06/19/protivostoyanie-na-ukraine-2013-14/742800-amerikanskie-korni-pravogo-sektora (trans) http://translate.yandex.net/tr-url/ru-en.ru/www.km.ru/world/2014/06/19/protivostoyanie-na-ukraine-2013-14/742800-amerikanskie-korni-pravogo-sektora
“The US began to prepare Ukrainian fighters-radicals in the nineties of the last century
“Stringerla Bureau of international investigation foundthat the soldiers “Right sector” – the only real force that stands against the militia of Ukraine. Instructors NATO coached nationalist fighters since the nineties of the last century, and financial aid that goes to them from overseas, continues to grow, plunging the country into civil war.
The participants of the “Right sector” idolize Stepan Bandera and boast of perfect murders. They shoot movies with scenes of shootings and receive salaries from the American instructors. Their training camps are located throughout Ukraine – in abandoned military bases in the former pioneer camps. “The course fighter” is aimed at the education of murderers: training with a knife, hand-to-hand fight, survival, shooting.
“Stringerla Bureau of international investigation specially for edition “top secret” studied “Right branch” and found its relationship with the US.
Volunteers Bureau met with Yuriy Vietnamese – head of the Kyiv headquarters of the “Sector”. In his office, hung a red and black flag of the Ukrainian insurgent army and the portrait of Stepan Bandera. Vietnamese gladly told me that he received the nickname for service in Vietnam, in detail answered questions about the “Right”sector. According to him, they already dozens of databases, where all day and night train people to fight against “separatists”. The base was transferred immediately after coming to power, opponents of Yanukovych.
Vietnamese without hesitation recalls how the supporters of the “Right sector” threw Molotov cocktails” special forces “Berkut”, and believes that in the country it is necessary to restore order, starting from the East: “We are ready to go to the end. If you need to cut out all of the population – we cut”. The fighters of the “Sector” and in fact ready for anything. And those who are not ready, calculates the internal police. “This is something like his Gestapo – explains the Vietnamese. – You need to believe in what we do”.
Only one topic he does not want to talk about financing. Indicates that there are foreign investors who help trainings and provide instructors.
Answering questions, getting confused: “there is only conceptual. For the salary, but ideological. No mercenaries there. Only instructors. Overseas? Overseas too, but I can’t talk about it”.
However, for many Ukrainians a question about sponsors “Right sector” is an open secret. Former national action Vladimir, now participating in the Donetsk militia, said: “During one of the operations we got the assistant of the leader of “Patriot of Ukraine” Beletsky. I immediately recognized. She was taken to the regional offices envelopes with money from foreign “investors”. We were sent to wash the truck in the back which was transporting corpses left after the massacre “the Right sector”. Then she realized…”
The leader of the gang “Kyiv Legion” Svyatoslav Stetsenko says bluntly: “the Right part” “sitting on the American payroll”. To educate the Ukrainian insurgents, the U.S. began a long time ago. As found volunteers Stringerla Bureau”, the earliest mention of the camps for training Ukrainian saboteurs refers to the mid-nineties…”

Thanks. The freak has a known past. Hopefully, its future will be very, very short.
An interesting comparison between the commenters at Liveleak and at Youtube. Since the youtube video is titled in Russian, it was missed by the online zionazi arse bandit brigade. The Liveleak site, since it is titled in English, is full of that buggered shite.
Here is one SITREP, translated from Russian by Gleb Bazov (original)
Situation Report from Novorossiya Armed Forces, June 19, 2014
At 23:00 (MSK): the situation changes on an hourly basis. The Junta troops have retreated to the previously held positions near Kirovsk. As a result of work by centres of resistance, Junta has abandoned and retreated from Yampol and Seversk. A Su-25 ground attack fighter was shot down over Yampol, this has been confirmed now. With respect to the the two aircraft and a “crocodile” (Mi-24 helicopter) shot down earlier, there has been no confirmation yet. The battles continued. Yampol was fight till the end.
At 23:10 (MSK): at the southern outskirts of Krasniy Liman, there is maneuver-centric combat with the Kirovsk checkpoint. A column comprised of 20 armoured elements (3 tanks and 17 “BMP” APCs) is moving from the direction of Kirovsk toward the vicinity of the 3rd School (Krasniy Liman). An additional 2 tanks and 5 “BMP” APCs. One tank and a “tachanka” (a towed machine gun or an artillery piece) moving in the direction of Ostavki.
At 23:15 (MSK): The column [noted above], having passed down the Lenin street, turned back in the direction of the Golubiye Ozera (“Blue Lakes’). Large-caliber machine gun fire in the southern part of Krasniy Liman.
My comments on Twitter:
Moving tanks around hostile territory in Novorossiya means little. They can be ambushed or boxed.
There are only 4 strategic goals in Novorossiya:
– Donetsk & Lugansk RSA buildings
– Dovzhansky border crossing
– Artemovsk tank base
I’d Like the writer of this piece to provide an explanation of “cultural Marxism”, if he’s going to construct such terms. Id also like to know how he came to the conclusion that the US, the fortress of monopoly capitalism, Temple of “freemarket” economics, and the intellectual and spiritual abode of Libertarianism, Neoliberalism and every and any other form of extremist liberalism ever conceived of, the very seat and throne of anticommunism and counterrevolution where those words were given real meaning, the very land of (for Chrissakes) Wal Street itself, is or ever was, in any way “Marxist” – except perhaps in some kind of negative, antithetical way.
solerso, the elites use cultural Marxism to corrupt and debase the morals and spiritual nature of the target population. You can start with this brief explanation but you must do your own homework if you don’t want to be just another mind controlled robot slave of the New World Order overlords:

That said, I meant to leave a comment for Saker:
Saker, you are AMAZING. I’m always dumfounded by how much you do. I don’t know how in the hell you keep up. I spend all day just trying to keep current and doing forum postings on Ukraine. This is an incredible blog, typos and all. Thank you so much for providing it. It’s widely shared on forums, too, and greatly appreciated by all.
As for the self organizing, especially for Youtube subtitling and uploading, and document translations – what about a Saker Yahoo Group? People can reach each other by email, post on the board, offer services and put up requests.

Oh, and, solerso – regarding the Henry Makow link on cultural Marxism and the Frankfurt School – just so you and everyone who clicks on it knows – Henry Makow is a Jew whose family suffered at the hands of the Nazis, so he’s no “anti semite”. Needed to clarify that before someone threw a hissy fit.
Hello Saker,
I would like to say, a lot of things to you about your blog and so, compliments and criticisms, but that would be a long post. Anyway, I appreciate your news and views about the world affairs and for being an Iraqi (partly of your favourite denomination ;) ), I would like to say that the views of Mindfriedo are, more or less, what I see there happening, too.
Secondly, I would like to propose a section in German language for your blog, similar to your French one. I would like to make here a call for German-speaking people to translate (parts of) blog.
I want to suggest also to the translators that they seperate themselves in region translaters that says, news from Ukraine, South east Asia and the Middle East should be translated who at least know something about the region the articles refer to. Otherwise we would just have ‘humanized’ machine translators.
Thank you
Thanks for all your dedication to getting real news out.
Interesting posts elsewhere today regarding ISIS situation being a front to get to Iran….
Mainstream journalists love “breaking news”. So mainstream journalism is broken all round the world.
In our time, the shift from citizen activism to the passive consumption of politics has eroded western democracy. So I think it’s harmful to spoonfeed us facts on a daily basis. We should be doing the hard work ourselves, and using your blog as a touchstone to see how well we’re doing. The quickest way to subvert a blog is to bog it down in minutiae, after all.
The broad sweep of your analytic powers, along with your love of knowledge, humility, honesty, courage and humanity is an inspiration to us all. Please don’t let us drag you down.
thx for your special dedication saker

‘Chapeau’ to the French colleagues who have set up the French site. Germany is another key state. Are there any Germans who could create a similar German site?
Enormous thanks to Saker for creating this magnificent resource, and to the major contributors, Juan and Mindfredo, also Auslander. Also to the excellent contributors. (The trolls however can troll off!). Your work is invaluable and help to keep us sane in these insane times. Please don’t burn yourselves out. We need to win the war, not the battles.
