I browse your site using Mozilla Firefox with the NoScript extension. It’s strange: when I tried to click on the “comment” link (this one) 15 minutes ago, I got a click-jacking warning. Evidently, the comment link was trying to redirect me to a MySpace music video (?). That happened a few different times over a few minutes. But now, the comment link is working normally. Just wanted to let you know.

Unexpectedly your blog has helped me appreciate my 2 adopted nieces in new ways. Given the current tensions you’ve been discussing, I can’t resist mentioning that one was adopted from the Ukraine(Crimea) and the other from Russia(Jaroslavl area) some years ago; they are in their early teens now and both are charming and smart. My mother thinks the one from the orphanage in the Crimea has Tatar ancestry. The other niece is classically Russian in look and personality, at least based on my experience of Russian immigrants I’ve met in the Boston area.

Paypal didn’t work for me. I put in country: India and the state options are still those of US. Even if I leave the state option blank, it says “incomplete info”. Any solution?

I’d welcome your thoughts on the Francis Boyle thesis about events in the Ukraine. I have endeavored to summarise them the on the Wikispooks page about the coup (as distinct from separate article pages).
In a nutshell, he contends that it is likely US-UK-NATO gamed this VERY thoroughly indeed, foresaw Russia’s response and made due allowance for it. So long as the US-UK-NATO can remain in control of escalation – a big IF I guess – then he sees Russia being forced to acquiesce in the end – worrying and plausible it seems to me. As you made clear a few weeks ago, mayhem serves US purposes well but represents an intractable problem for Russia.
A depressing prognosis I know. What do you think?

Dieudonné has not much to do with freedom of speech and a lot to do with being an opportunist who found a very wide audience by slowly moving from the CRAN to becoming a Faurisson support. He made a lot of money because poor guys are now paying all his bills while the guys buys huge mansions.
A new scandal has emerged in France, that of an ultra-right adviser to Sarkozy who was recording the strategic meetings and squarely declared he is a monarchist in one of the recordings he made himself.
This is our extreme right: opportunists and monarchists who manipulate people to pave the way to Marine Le Pen and then stand as the last resort.

He never was in CRAN, the CRAN being an approved CRIF copycat invented for the specific purpose of dividing communities ever more.
As for the “Sarkozy” leaks, they were published by “Le canard enchainé”, i.e. the “official” press organ for the RG (Renseignement Généraux). So it is nothing more than limited hang out.
