I haven’t seen this before and it’s GREAT! Some great parallels too. “A US sub has gone missing”. Thanks for the tip, Martijn. Everyone should check this out.
Yes I have seen threads it’s a very sobering movie / documentary on nuclear war and the consequences. It really hits the spot as it defines the total breakdown of government through to individual suffering.
The movie the day after has its own take on this but Threads really is confronting.
This is defining time for all humanity and some are fighting for our well-being whom we have never even met.
It is only when we silent the blaring sounds of our daily existence that we can finally hear the whispers of truth that life reveals to us, as it stands knocking on the doorsteps of our hearts.

Could you, somehow indicate those “indicators”.
You really think NATO/US could be instantly combat-ready against an already prepared Russian Army?
Without an all-out mobilization waging war on to fronts?
Even an intercontinental nuke-attack needs preparation.
There is a whole branch of the US military that’s permanent duty is to prepare for Global Nuclear War, and to be ready, willing and able to destroy the world at a few moments notice. See the Strategic Air Command.
Listen, the more you test the US scum, the less they seem to come up with. Lip Service is their biggest asset but even that’s beginning to fall on deaf ears.
The WEF can still roll out its Great Reset, only it will only apply within a NATO Anglosphere block. Citizen-serfs will be paid digital vouchers or something. Trade with partners outside that block will have to be done in hard currency acceptable world-wide. Hasn’t this change already been set in motion by all the sanctions and asset seizures? Interesting that it all began on Feb.22, 2022 or 22/02/2022. It’s almost like it was planned.
I would have thought that the sighting of a Russian submarine off of the American coast a couple of months ago would have been a heads up to the war party.
Yes, pretty impressive. I think that if that underground structure was an aircraft carrier, it would be having some serious leakage issues.
I wonder how the last phase targeting was accomplished? Was it all done by the missile, or perhaps by external signalling? To hit a moving target (such as an aircraft carrier) they need to figure this part out, and yes, I know the Russians have claimed to have solved this riddle already.
That’s not a hypersonic strike, in my opinion. First you can freeze frame the bomb and you can’t do that with something going Mach 7 and it’s way too small. Secondly, it comes in white hot, like a meteor strike.
I saw that video posted elsewhere nothing to do with the Kinzahl.
I strongly recommand to watch the last video of Charles Sannat, a french economist. The title is “Is Putin mad or ar we stupid? Alert conflict extension”
If you want to see this video in youtube, just write “Poutine est il fou ou sommes nous stupides? Alerte extension du conflit”, the channel is “le grenier de l’eco”… if you want you can automatically traduct in english or else.
For him we have two weeks before a big crash. Very good analysis of what is really going on.
Pay attention to the date 3 weeks from now, April 4, 2022.

These Western Satanists like the Cabal. Want to know the nature of a person? So power to her. Power makes people happy to condemn and grossly manifest their arrogance. I’ve said this before here on the channel:
Humanity has simply reached an impasse. It’s happening exactly as I predicted. This is ignored by most. But God help us, we resist.
But yeah, i agree on two points. First, humanity is in a big dead end. Things just can’t go better. We need to be prepared, all of us.
Russians, Frenchs, americans… everybody. We’re not ennemy. Our countries are. Not us, civilians, people. We need to remember that. To not cultivate hate, but unity. But be prepared for a world of hate.
Second, in my opinion, the spirituality side of all this conflict is largely underestimated. I know some people in secret societies, and they ARE spirituals, esoterics. We never speak about that, but the truth is that under the “official reality”, esoterics things weigh a lot.
A lot of “important people” in the world are involved in esoterics things, they do rituals, things like that.
Unfortunately, it’s very hard to get valuable informations about that.
Lots of disinformation made by people who prefere to see this things discredited in a big cloud of bullshit.
The fact that Putin began all this operation the 22/02/22 (a big esoteric portal) is NOT a coincidence.
Russia introduced its new hypersonic missile into the battle and I think NATO and the whole of the West are shocked now and unable to do what they had in mind to do next as false flag. This is due to when their nearby Radars failed to detect the Russian Dagger.
This was for sure a warning from Russia to west so they surely realise the kind of mud they will be if they decide to involve.
This was a game changer moment and a peace maker missile.
I hope the West will understand the message now and will finally stop driving the World into Armageddon.
Even though they seem to be careless and they may not stop.
Reported on ASB military, Russia has begun using the Tos-1 “Flamethrower” thermobaric weapon. First the hypersonic “Dagger” now the “Flamethrower”. The bear is showing her teeth.
Toni, with a little heart over the I, Blinken has an Epstein connection: Blinken’s stepsister is Leah Pisar. She was a minder for Bill Clinton in the Clinton Admin. Both share the same father, the late Sam Pisar, Robert Maxwell’s attorney and trusted friend.
I analyzed it and it doesn’t look like a hypersonic impact. There’s no plasma wall, no flash of light at impact due to conversion of kinetic energy into heat, there are five soldiers escaping from the scene, and there’s no significant secondary set of explosions at the supposed ammunition depot.
Also, the description never actually says it’s a hypersonic impact, it’s just inferred due to date of publication and context. It’s fully deniable, and I would say it’s one of the previous Kalibr hits published with a delay. I think there’s something weird about that Kinzhal strike, in a sense that there might be more to it than meets the eye, such as it hitting a secret command center full of American and British intelligence and military officers organizing the whole thing at “safe” distance. I can’t claim anything with any degree of certainty, but there’s been a whole lot of very awkward silence around the event.
The truth is, I’m not convinced that hypersonic missiles actually strike a target hypersonically. They reach hypersonic speeds at “burnout velocity” which means at the point when the rocket burns out, which could be at maximal flight altitude (depending on range to target etc). By the time they hit the target chances are they are going supersonic but below hypersonic. I’m not convinced that an object can even go hypersonic at ground level atmosphere/air pressure. The Kinzhal is designed to be launched and fly at 50km altitude. Can any manmade object actually withstand hypersonic speeds at ground level air pressure? I doubt it. Re-entry vehicles have to be specially made with advanced aerospace ceramics and such to re enter at hypersonic at the absolute thinnest of atmosphere until they finally slow down to well below supersonic level.
Yes most likely the video may not be the Kinzhal anyway, but judging by the speed in those frames that certainly is not going hypersonic. If it was going hypersonic you would not even see the missile in the frame because most people don’t understand that a bullet fired from a gun goes at 1,500mph (and that’s on the faster end, many bullets go slower). The Kinzhal is said to go over 9,000. That means this missile goes about 7 or 8 times faster than a bullet, you sure as hell would not see it on camera if it were truly going hypersonic. But like I said before, I don’t think it actually travels hypersonically during final phase, nothing can possibly do that at ground atmosphere without disintegrating violently. I would guess that the missiles fly hypersonically from launch to midphase and then slow down to around high-supersonic to maybe low hypersonic at the fastest by terminal phase i.e. anywhere between mach 3-5. The other cellphone video taken of the missile which purports to show ‘plasma shield’ is a clear fake (to me).
The length of the building which is about to be hit is around 50 m, which is roughly the same distance the missile travels per 1 video frame so approximate speed of missile could be around 4500 km/h, definitely supersonic.
Yes it’s definitely supersonic, all missiles pretty much are. But not hypersonic. And btw we don’t know the framerate of the video (at least I don’t). Videos come in a variety of framerates from 24fps to 25 in PAL countries, to 30 and 50-60. Impossible to calculate without knowing exact video framerate.
Anyway, the Kaliber cruise missile travels upwards of Mach 3 itself, which is almost 4000kph.
What is hypersonic missile? Too fast and hard to intercept but anyway it still has “only” 500 kilo warhead.
In 1944 Soviet all air forces dropped 181,000 tons bombs of all kind. Luftwaffe previous year (1943) 300,000 tons in Eastern Front but still lost. Be very careful when trusting these new wonder weapons too much.
It’s a missile that hits the target at velocities sufficient to ionize the air around it, resembling a meteor strike. Basically, its kinetic energy is extreme, to the point where you don’t even need an explosive warhead; just a chunk of Tungsten would release so much kinetic energy it would resemble a small nuclear device. That at least is what I’ve been told.
Source please, because i’m pretty sure you don’t know what you’re talking about. What you just described is a “kinetic weapon”, also known as orbital bombardment.
Every kinetic weapon is hypersonic, but not every hypersonic missile is a kinetic weapon. In fact EVERY hypersonic weapon i’m aware of is not a kinetic weapon. You’re mixing up scifi and reality. As user Nightvision explained a few posts up, every hypersonic missile used today only flies at hypersonic speeds, but does not strike the target at hypersonic speeds.
Instead hypersonic weapons used today start at low speed, accelerate to hypersonic, and then “glide” to the target while constantly losing speed. By the time they reach the target they’re barely supersonic. Just like a bullet fired from a mile away.
I think there’s a chance they do hit the target hypersonically. This is apparently a well kept secret by all nations and no one seems to know the final answer but I’ve been really digging into it with research and there’s a new episode of Combat Approved out just today about the Zirkon hypersonic missile and it actually somewhat answers a few of these questions. So I’m starting to think it may be possible for it to hit hypersonically at the lower reaches of it or at least highest reaches of supersonic, somewhere in the Mach 3-5 level.
Mach 3-4 isn’t unusual for some air-to-air missiles. It would be exceptional for an air-to-ground missile, and might help to cut down on prewarn time (i remember some russian cruise missiles having a terminal stage to accelerate on final approach, specifically to cut down enemy warning time). However, mach 3-4 wouldn’t really help much interms of impact energy. If i recall correctly, for true kinetic weapon you need suborbital speeds – mach 10 or higher. Otherwise you might as well use conventional chemical explosives.
You’re pretty much right. If you’re talking about continental warfare, no kind of missile really means anything (unless it’s nuclear). Where the Kinzhal really makes waves is that it can destroy carrier groups. U.S.’s vaunted fleet of 11 carrier groups (or whatever it has now) is one of its only and major tools of ‘power projection.’ If you take them all out at once with unstoppable hypersonic missiles, that would sort of deflate a large part of one’s military capability.
“At least eight (8) and possibly up to twelve (12) Russian military jets, the kind used to move VIP’s, and others of a type that move supplies, are shuttling out of Moscow to the Ural Mountains . . . which is where Russia’s nuclear Bunkers are located.”
It’s Hal Turner just trying to feed his gullible audience some more “facts”. So there is no need to confirm anything, he’s just trying to rake in a few extra advertising dollars.
M times V squared estimate 700 kg @ 11,000 feet per second…then recall the diameter is small and energy focused…against concrete there would be a large secondary steam explosion as concrete decomposed from heat. The explosive package is nice, but a fella could use rock-ballast and still get bigbig bang.
“The high speed of the Kinzhal likely gives it far better target-penetration characteristics than lighter subsonic cruise-missiles, such as Tomahawk. Being three times as heavy and almost twelve times as fast as Tomahawk, the Kinzhal has more than 3 x 12^{2} = 432 times the on-cruise kinetic energy of a Tomahawk missile (~17.3 gigajoules, or equal to 4,100 kg TNT explosive energy)” -wikipedia
Mach ten at sea level is about 3,500m/s. A 500 kg warhead would have about 3 gigajoules kinetic energy, about the same as 30 gallons of gasoline. Maybe its the power density that is so devastating: large amount of
energy released in a small amount of time in a very small volume of space. It might amount to many terrawatts per square meter.
Good thinking. The only problem is I don’t think any manmade object can actually travel that fast at sea level which is why I’m highly skeptical of any ‘hypersonic missile’ traveling hypersonically at terminal phase. They only do so at launch and midphase. We’d have to know what the true upper limits of engineering are for objects at sea level, MAYBE it’s possible to just squeak into Mach 5 (probably not) but certainly not Mach 10 and beyond. The fastest plane ever texted the X-15 reached Mach 6++ only at well over 100,000ft+++ altitude. I doubt anyone can show me a single object in HISTORY proven to travel hypersonically at sea level without catastrophic disintegration. You sound scientifically minded so I’m curious if you know of any such object? If you read the fine print, hypersonic missiles are said to travel hypersonically only at “burnout phase”. And a Kinzhal is meant to cruise at 50km altitude. Space shuttles require massive amounts of special aerospace engineering ceramics just to re enter the very thinnest of atmospheres at hypersonic speeds and gradually slow down to subsonic.
It might be possible but I haven’t seen any evidence of such a feat in history. Closest I can come up with is a rail gun https://youtu.be/O2QqOvFMG_A which fires what I assume to be some type of solid tungsten bolt at Mach 7, and even one of the commenters states that railguns “have a problem of disintegrating their own projectiles”. So if a solid piece of tungsten can “disintegrate” at Mach 7 at sea level then I can’t imagine what a much flimsier missile would do at Mach 12. I’d assume the Kinzhal can reach hypersonic speeds at 50km altitude but upon terminal phase it will probably hit a target maybe at mach 3-5 at the very most, this would probably be the limits of human engineering. But I’m open to being corrected as these are just educated assumptions.
In the absence of exotic tech, its impossible. Maybe they found a way to eliminate the boundary
layer where all the heat accumulates. Who knows what they can do with plasma. They might
have found an aerodynamic equivalent to super-cavitation.
Highly doubt it. Only other idea I can think of is of a missile constructed in such a way where it flies comfortably and then speeds up to hypersonic speed several seconds before hitting the target (which at hypersonic speeds would be tens of miles away) simply because its tolerances would be engineered to handle only several seconds of air pressure at sea level @ hypersonic speed. But even that sounds very far fetched and fantastical and as such I’ll stick to my theory actually grounded in science, which is that these missiles achieve hypersonic velocity in the mid phase and by the time they descend to the target they may be doing Mach 3-5 at the very most (well Mach 5 is hypersonic so, maybe it can just eke it out, but mostly I don’t believe in Mach 7-12 at sea level, simply impossible to me).
” I don’t believe in Mach 7-12 at sea level, simply impossible to me”
It 》is《 imposible with known technology and materials. But working scramjet engine seemed too. Russians obviously solved that. Mind that problems with airflow and pressures inside scramjet are similar to those for traveling at hypersonic speeds at sea level. If they mastered scramjet technology, they might solve that too.
Statement that missiles are hypersonic only in the first phase of flight, and than “glides” to target while losing speed is true only for those with rocket engines. Cruise missiles has engine that propels them all the way. Kinzhal has the best of the both worlds. Speed of rocket and trajectory of cruise missile. It is because of advanced scramjet engine. This is the reason why we should not dismiss the possibility of hypersonic speeds at terminal phase. We do not know all facts.
On other hand, we do know that weapons manufacturers tend to exaggerate characteristics of their product.
I don’t think the Kinzhal has scramjet engines or any other engine apart from a rocket motor. You might be thinking of the other types of hypersonic missiles in development by various countries. As far as I understand, Kinzhal is a simple multi stage rocket engine, and is in fact mostly just modified version of the Iskander missile which makes a lot of sense due to the fact that: 1. it looks almost identical to an Iskander missile 2. it would explain its “sudden” appearance and extremely fast development time. Russia typically takes a long time to develop new high tech arms, and the Kinzhal popped out of no where which only goes with the theory that it’s basically a more advanced/modified Iskander. But of course that could be completely wrong (since NO ONE knows for certain) but I’d say the probability is high and most experts agree on this.
And by the way, you said scramjet pressures (inside the engine) are similar to pressures at sea level, yet this is at super thin altitude. So imagine, if that engine is experiencing insane “sea level” style pressures at 100,000ft, so imagine what type of pressure that same engine would experience at actual sea level? It would not survive. That’s why no scramjet object to my knowledge has ever flown at hypersonic speeds anywhere near sea level.
To my knowledge Russia doesn’t have any hypersonic objects in development that feature scramjet engines. It has things like Zirkon / Kinzhal / Iskander which are rocket engines and Avangarde which is a glider. I don’t know of any ramjet/scramjet engine missiles in development.
Sorry actually appears I was wrong after double checking, Zirkon IS in fact a scramjet engine missile rather than rocket only. And incidentally the popular “Combat Approved” just released their anticipated episode 2 on the missile today https://youtu.be/Zuk4-AQZ4X8
here’s part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1u6NfPlPJU
also I should state I could very well be wrong because after further research I have found missiles such as the cancelled U.S. Sprint missile from the 60’s which reached Mach 15 in only 10 seconds (it was built to shoot down ICBM’s), and the missile too glowed white hot after being surrounded with plasma due to the pressure/heat it experienced at the speed.
In that 10 seconds it was already many miles up in the atmosphere, but my point is that, in the first few seconds it was likely already going Mach 5 and was probably not TOO high up yet which proves that an object is capable of going hypersonically at semi-normal altitudes at least for a little while.
And this shows a hypersonic missile which ascends to Mach 8 at high altitude and then diving down to the target, would reach about Mach 2.7 at terminal phase. If Kinzhal does Mach 12 at its peak rather than 8, then perhaps at terminal phase it would strike a bit faster, who knows maybe Mach 4-5, so it’s conceivable that perhaps at its moment of impact it could maybe breach Mach 5 which would put it in “hypersonic” territory.
I suppose we’d have to see footage of an actual strike because if the missile isn’t glowing white hot then most likely it’s not going hypersonic speed at terminal phase of the strike.
You are obviously highly intelligent, and well versed in physics. I have one question: Isn’t lightning also superfast and much speedier than hypersonic weapons and yet able to direct pinpoint strikes at specific locations without breaking up, as such?
Lightning. The main force is upward, big as a car and too fast to see with a naked eye. The pinpoint you see is finger sized and relatively slow, searching for the contact.
It is the invisible discharge which does the damage. There are high speed camera pictures which have caught it coming out of water. I have one on my computer, with the water falling away, from the “shaft”.
What does lightning (ionized air atoms by electric current releasing photons to get back to their stable electron configuration) have to do with a solid object travelling at certain speed?
kinetic energy of moving body:
E=1/2 mv²
Square of velocity is what import: increased speed brings much more punch than mass upto the point that hypersonics could sink a carrier even if they had no war head.
Good day everyone,
I would like to take the opportunity of this open thread to ask a question. I have been following several Telegram channels that provide update on the special operation. There are many channels in Cyrillic that when translated make mention of polite soldiers, polite forces, or polite equipment.
Is there a significance for using this particular word? Does the word polite in Russian have a different connotation? Thanks for anyone that can explain this concept.
As far as I know, the term “polite soldiers” refers to Russians special forces…I believe it also means they only take care of business and do not engage in unnecessary military action against non-military targets…In 2014, when they took control of Crimeea, they were called the “little green men”…And the term polite has the same meaning in Russian…
“Polite people” is a mem referred to the Crimea returning to Mother Russia in 2014.
People in camouflage suddenly appeared and took control over the Crimea without a single shot being fired and without a single casualty.
In a very polite way by very polite people.
“polite soldiers, polite forces, or polite equipment” should be the developments of that mem.
This article contains reliable information – https://clck.ru/9KPF4
“Polite people” (also “green men”) is a euphemism for soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in uniform without insignia, who blocked strategic facilities in Ukrainian Crimea during the annexation of the peninsula to Russia, an Internet meme. The term became widespread in late February and early March 2014″.
The term was coincidentally coined on February 28, 2014, by LiveJournal blogger Boris Rozhin (colonelcassad), who later recalled it this way: “Personally, I just took a fancy to the expression ‘polite’ in reference to unknown persons who seize strategic objects without formally revealing their incognito, so as a joke (since everyone in Crimea understood perfectly well who it was and where it came from) in the style of ‘but we know who it is’, I used the expression ‘polite people’ a couple of times, without any backthought that it would have any consequences at all, except for laughs from several readers who might pay attention to the expression I liked”.
Use https://www.deepl.com/translator
This is the kind of joke that undercuts the fact that the soldiers concealed their affiliation with the Russian army and occupied Crimea without a fight, that is, politely.
my assessment is that, if you are hearing Russians themselves speak of “Polite People” then typically it’s being done in a sarcastic sense, but not in a derogatorily sarcastic, rather more like a playful sarcastic but with a certain pride in our troops. Sort of like calling them “our boys”, “our polite troops” etc. And yes as others have stated it stems from the infamous Crimean stuff which others have explained better than I can
Thank you very much everyone for confirming my suspicions. It goes about in line with the impression I had of the Russian Armed Forces.
I am particularly moved by the videos of old ladies that come out of shelters to hug unsuspecting Russian and Thchechene (sorry French spelling) soldiers. I live in Canada, and I can tell all the media here have lost their collective minds. Those of us that can see, know what is going on. Still, I would be very scared to meet these guys for real. They are really impressive.
I think it’s epic. Winning against all the weapons in the Canadian army. If Russia manages to win this one, stories will be written and songs will be sung about this.
Why “showing” an good card when you can just use the good old subsonic big missile ?
You can be sure that now every ballistic intervention from russia will be “recorded”and “monitored” to feed data to research a counter.
My gut feeling is there is something more than just that, but i don’t know what.
I can’t help but to wonder what western media narrative will be once Russia mission is complete in Ukraine? And I can’t but wonder when my fellow Americans will rise up and say we’re tired of these filthy lies you call journalism. Anybody. Have a thought?
There are signs that, even among the sheep, there is a steadily growing revulsion at the endless lies and dishonesty of the mainstream media. The best indicator is the relative movement of ratings.
Joe Rogan v CNN is one of the more extreme examples but the trend is there all over the media landscape.
In Australia the government have essentially brought media compliance. I know somene who works in a small regional radio station, part of a network. we were talking about attitudes to the incessant covid panic advertising and she stated that it was imposed on them from above, the presonal attitudes among staff were quite different and far less panic stricken.
I think that when this plays out there will be a few media organisations and individuals that simply have no audience.\ because they have pissed all their credibility against the wall.
A little bit of a primer on hypersonic missiles since that hypersonic craze is about to overtake us all with the introduction of Khinzal.
Firstly we must distinguish something. “Hypersonic” on its own is not particularly significant to the extent that this is not the first hypersonic missile. In fact all intercontinental missiles and many/most ballistic missiles are hypersonic. This includes everything from the nuclear ICBM’s to things like Iskander ballistic missile which Russia has already used many times in Ukraine. In short, any missile that ascends to outerspace (ICBMs) becomes hypersonic quite easily due to not having any air resistance. In fact nuclear ICBM’s are orders of magnitude faster than the Kinzhal (Mach 10-12?) as they can reach Mach 20-30.
But even with missiles that don’t go to outer space, ballistic missiles like the Iskander are also hypersonic. Although it is unknown (to my knowledge) the exact precise nature of this meaning. You see, Iskander is said to achieve hypersonic speeds at the point of “burnout velocity”, this is the velocity where the rocket has used up all its internal fuel and can then be guided via gasses and fins to its target. It may or may not retain hypersonic speed at that point to the point of the target depending on the distance and how much farther it has to travel. I’ve read at least one source describe an Iskander hitting the target at “supersonic” speeds rather than hypersonic, despite the fact that much of its flight was hypersonic.
The Iskander has some things in common with the Kinzhal, in fact it’s even speculated that the first booster stage of the Kinzhal is in fact the same as the Iskander. And if you look at the two they even look quite similar in their shape.
The main differences are as follows: the Kinzhal is considered an aero-ballistic, i.e. air launched from craft like the MiG-31, which gives it extended range due to the fact that the MiG-31 is the current fastest production plane in the world and can zoom towards a launch vector at Mach 3+ if need be and then launch the missile, thus giving it hundreds, if not thousands of kilometers of extra legroom.
This brings us to the other biggest distinction: the Iskander has a range of 400-500km mostly owing to the limitations of the famous “Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile Treaty” (INF Treaty) which limits and bans any missiles longer than that range but only for ground launched missiles. This means that Iskander while terrifying and probably also un-interceptible due to its speed, cannot really be used in such strategic purposes as truly long distance strikes (though don’t get me wrong 500km is considered pretty damn long distance for a missile at least on a tactical level).
So the Kinzhal circumvents this ban by being air launched and has an estimated/alleged range of 2000-3000km. The “catch” is that this range is listed as combined with the MiG-31 or Tu-22 delivery vehicle, so the actual range of the missile itself is unknown and for a rocket propellant style missile, the range can’t be exceptionally long because rocket fuel is not as efficient as the turbofan of a cruisemissile which can often go much farther on less fuel (mostly cus they travel much slower and thus spend the fuel more ‘efficiently’ as well).
So you may be wondering, what is the real difference between a Kinzhal and an Iskander in terms of their striking power, etc. Well in theory, they are not much different when compared to the same target. The MAIN and chief reason that the West fears the Kinzhal so much is that it was created with the express purpose of targeting U.S. seabased assets particularly Aircraft carriers, which an Iskander can’t really hit for a variety of reasons (range being the biggest, and it’s simply not designed for that). So the Kinzhal is basically a much longer range, and even faster, ship wrecking version of the Iskander.
Also I shouldn’t downplay the fact that, though they are both “hypersonic”, the Kinzhal is claimed to be upwards of double the speed of the Iskander, so this could make it far more deadly. We just don’t know how true those claims are yet, but the unofficial statistics we can see on the web show Iskander as Mach 5.9 and Kinzhal purportedly at Mach 10-12. The reason this is important is because, given 2 objects of the same mass/explosive power (Iskander and Kinzhal are said to both have similar ~500kg warheads, though Iskander has different types of warheads, some are bigger), the one traveling faster will exert more force via kinetic energy which is why according to wikipedia:
“The high speed of the Kinzhal likely gives it far better target-penetration characteristics than lighter subsonic cruise-missiles, such as Tomahawk. Being three times as heavy and almost twelve times as fast as Tomahawk, the Kinzhal has more than 432 times the on-cruise kinetic energy of a Tomahawk missile (~17.3 gigajoules, or equal to 4,100 kg TNT explosive energy).”
So even though a Tomahawk also has a similar 450kg explosive warhead, the Kinzhal infact achieves 432 times the power of a Tomahawk by way of kinetic energy due to being 12 times faster than the American missile.
So, to summarize, although Kinzhal’s characteristics on their own are quite impressive and revolutionary, the real threat of it is the fact that it bypasses Iskander’s limitations with much longer range and abilities to annihilate U.S. carrier groups. This is the real danger of it. American CIWS and AEGIS systems simply cannot stop it due to the fact that these systems require at least 6-15 seconds to acquire and engage a target. But here’s the problem, at the speed of upwards 9000mph, the Kinzhal does 2.5 miles per second. And the curvature of the earth is such that at about 3-4 miles at the horizon, objects are no longer visible. That means by the time the missile even appears targetable/visible on the horizon due to the curvature of the earth, it is already about 2.5 seconds from destroying you, and simply no system on earth can acquire and engage a target that fast.
Last thing I want to say. The video that was released. Personally I’m skeptical that this is actually a Kinzhal (I’m talking about the cellphone video from the guy on the ground, not the official MOD video of the missile hitting the warehouse). It may very well be, the truth is NONE of us have seen such a marvel in action before, and so none of us can truly say what it would look like. Many speculators claim the “glowing” missile is indicative of the “plasma shield” around it due to its fantastical speed of Mach 10+. This could very well be the case, but the main problem to me is the missile seems too low and is behaving like a low launched Kaliber missile. My understanding is Kinzhal is supposed to travel near the stratosphere fairly high up, something like 50km altitude give or take. And we’ve seen all the test footage of MiG-31’s launching it, it’s always launched at such altitudes. Now it could very well be traveling at that altitude it’s hard to tell from the very low resolution video. https://mobile.twitter.com/dusics/status/1505133411677229059
But personally, my educated opinion is it looks iffy to me. I’ll wait for confirmation or more videos. Truth is none of us know the true characteristics of the missile so it’s impossible to really confirm what we’re seeing, but for now I’m not buying that video, something about it looks off to me.
I believe the defining feature of a hypersonic missile is the ability to deviate from a predictable, ballistic flight path at hypersonic speeds. Theoretically, that could be achieved outside the atmosphere with thrusters but in reality that’s apparently impractical. For this reason, hypersonic missiles have to use atmospheric portions of their flight to be able to exploit aerodynamic forces acting upon them. The space shuttle during re-entry was an example of a “hypersonic missile” because it flew S-curves at hypersonic speeds high up in the atmosphere to bleed energy.
Currently, there are three types of hypersonic missiles:
– Aeroballistic missiles like the Russian Iskander and Kinzhal. Speed up to Mach 9. These missiles are rocket-propelled. They have a depressed trajectory that leads (mostly) through the atmosphere, allowing them to maneuvre more than a typical ballistic missile would be able to. There are reports that say that these missiles employ various additional counter-measures to being shot down than just maneuvering.
– Hypersonic glide vehicles like the Russian Avangarde. These missiles/warheads appear to be somewhat like a small space shuttle during re-entry. Speed around Mach 25. They are launched atop a rocket. After separation, they follow a flight path in the upper layers of the atmosphere until making a dive for the target. From what I’ve gathered, Russia currently has at least four, possibly six Avangardes, each sitting atop a rocket supplied by Ukraine as payment for gas deliveries back when relations were a little bit better. These things must be very difficult to produce. Most reports say that Avangarde does not have its own engine and the Russians never said whether it had one or not. Anyways, what the Russians say is that Avangarde is able to maneuvre wildly.
– Hypersonic cruise missiles like the Russian Zircon that has been tested a few times (successfully, as the Russians say) and is entering serial production (again, as the Russians say). Video footage provided by the Russians, if genuine, shows that Zircon is launched with a rocket booster, or maybe even a two-stage rocket booster. Everybody assumes that the cruise engine is a scramjet engine although the Russians apparently never acknowledged as much.
I am looking out my window at the horizon and it is 2 miles in one direction to the hills but it is 36miles across the plains to the mountains on the other side. Therefore I would get 1 second warning if the missile came from the east but 14 seconds if it came from the North. Still not much time to do anything
” the Kinzhal has more than 432 times the on-cruise kinetic energy of a Tomahawk.” Does this imply the possibility of/potential to, greatly reducing the size of a Kinzhal to equal the energy of the tomahawk; then a corresponding increase in the number Kinzhals? If a Tomahawk is “effective”, then “432 times” this would suggest a surplus of power (overkill?).
well, I think this equation is just theoretical using the Kinzhal’s speed at its peak velocity but in reality as I’ve been sort of theorycrafting here in other posts, I highly doubt the Kinzhal hits the target at anywhere near those speeds because nothing can travel that fast at sea level due to the extreme air pressure. So by the time the Kinzhal hits a target I would think that “432” number would be orders of magnitude less, but still much greater than the aging Tomahawk of course. But I don’t think you can reduce the size too much more simply owing to the fact that hypersonic missiles need a large motor in order to be able to achieve the types of power levels that can bring them to such velocities. I would assume based on educated guess that it’s already at the smallest it can be engineered to be, given the above ^.
From Nightvision: “So the Kinzhal circumvents this ban by being air launched and has an estimated/alleged range of 2000-3000km. The “catch” is that this range is listed as combined with the MiG-31 or Tu-22 delivery vehicle, so the actual range of the missile itself is unknown …”
Thanks for posting this infobit! The stated range always puzzled me, because it seemed impossible without a giant booster stage or some type of nuclear rocket motor, both of which would make it too heavy to be carried by something like a MIG-31.
(translation to E)> “Some of you have written that you hope the Russians will go all the way to Berlin. 😂 Personally, I also think that a lot goes wrong in Germany. But would you really like it if Putin “cleaned up” in Germany?”
The response was 59% “Ja”
Now then, let the lady ask same question about France, or the US…
Russia needs to clean up New Russia, and separate it from Galicia, so that the CIA is not able to create riots. Russia should completely stop the export of energy to the West, it is a terrible mistake to continue to export and still charge in dollars. Russia should not react at all to the propaganda accusations of the West and America, it should ignore it and do its job. Russia should nationalize all assets owned by foreign companies that have imposed sanctions on Russia. Russia has set red lines and made it known who crosses them will be destroyed.
The next news headlines in MSM likely: “Russian hypersonic missiles inaccurate military blunders”.
Anyway. The slow progress of RF forces during the last 10 days are now big talk in western media which likely hints that when RF starts gain faster the thing just like Mariupol will disappear to memory hole. Now after several day fog MSM has been forced to admit the street fighting in center of that town of tragedy. But next week there will be no talk of Mariupol at all.
I have heard that the Ukraine has large amounts of prime farmland, uncontaminated by pesticides, GMO frankenfoods, etc. Just where is this area located? If realistic, this should also be detached from the rump Ukraine, if for no other reason than to keep them out of the clutches of Monsanto, Big Ag and Big Chem.
Colonel McGregor said in an interview with The Grayzone that the Russian Army were under strict instructions not to touch these farmlands (the centre in the Maps) because Putin wants them to be able to continue farming and plant and reap their crops so their livelihood is not damaged.
The ukrainian leaderships like ze, porkchenko et. at should be arrested asap and the operation will be over. More troops should be focussed on capturing kiev after mariupal is done. The encircled ukie forces in Donbass and Odessa will then give up/lay down their arms once their leaderships are captured.
I am for peace.
Russia should annex Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and then start negotiations with the US on the withdrawal of missile weapons from Europe.
Personally, if I were a soldier in the Ukrainian army, the thought of being buried alive in my sleep while my barracks is hit by one of these monsters would be much more terrifying than dying on the battlefield.
I suspect that every large Ukrainian military base in the country is marked on Russian maps and they will go down the list, “turning up the pain dial”.
Not just that but seeing those images from the destroyed barracks in Nikolaev of deceased on stretchers with significant burns and missing limbs is enough to send shivers down the spine.
Similar experience from the survivors of the Yavoriv training camp with complete chaos and fire everywhere indicates some serious fire power being delivered as evident by those large craters!!!
Let’s hope that they can demonstrate they have at least one brain cell between them and start to talk about considering and working towards resolving Russia’s modest demands. However, they have dug themselves into such a deep trench now, they haven’t got the courage even to admit their wrong doing. As China said yesterday, NATO is responsible for this entire scenario as they could simply have just signed guarantees with Russia that they would not expand any further Eastward or into Warsaw Pact countries. But no, as Lavrov said, the USA controls NATO and it is the USA that determines NATO’s actions and where weapons are placed.
So, I expect more idiotic warmongering and posturing from them. They are incapable of intelligence.
“Separately, I want to draw the reader’s attention to this. Russian soldiers, as well as soldiers of the DPR, are prohibited from independently filming from the battlefields both in the Donbass and in Ukraine. Only military officers who shoot stories as part of an editorial task are allowed to do this. Personally, I consider this a mistake, but that’s not the point. The entire information field from the battlefields on our part is mainly clogged with video materials that are made by Chechen fighters. The viewer gets the impression that only they win and basically only they fight.
Chechen fighters really arrived in Donbass and really fight alongside our fighters on the Mariupol front shoulder to shoulder. For example, the Chechens are cleaning up the large Azovstal plant, where it is very difficult for the advancing forces to fight, but they succeed. However, in the Mariupol direction, the main work is done by the fighters of our army and our Ministry of Internal Affairs. By the way, many people note that our army special forces, the 9th army regiment, the SOBR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are showing themselves very well. But the problem is not that Chechen fighters can shoot videos, but that ours cannot. The entire Internet is crammed with Ukrainian materials, both fake and real, and we have critically little of this material.”
Any troops with cell phones immediately become targets as all cell phones have location info. Not to mention it would disclose operations, force size, positions, etc. :)
You’re going to want to see this just played live feed from Gonzalo, he’s really telling it like it is (as usual) about the Kinzal and 200 Ukrainian officers KIA in a separate strike yesterday:
He may tell it like he sees it but he doesn’t tell it like it “is.”
Don’t get me wrong – Gonzalo makes a lot of good points in his video. But his suggestion that the US/NATO would use a nuke because Russia struck a weapons depot in West Ukraine is not using, in his words, “judgement.”
Yes, I believe there are elements within NATO that would like to widen the war (Poland and Baltic states). But the Western European powers (and even some in East Europe) are saying there will be no NATO action in Ukraine.
As I’ve written before, Russia use all the means at its disposal to terminate weapons shipments and any convoys that bring them in. And they should consider all depots or storage facilities throughout the entire country legitimate targets. NATO is not foolish enough to think that this is not Russia’s policy, especially after its recent demonstration when it struck the depot 12 minutes from the Polish boarder).
And despite Saker and Alexander Mercouris belief that Russia will not occupy West Ukraine, I believe like Scott Ritter and Andrei Martyanov that they will occupy West Ukraine and create a bulwark there to prevent further NATO incursion. From West Ukraine, Russian can expand its “influence” on NATO to demilitarize Eastern Europe. You can see from the map that West Ukraine juts out into East Europe in such a way as to put not only Poland at risk, but Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania at risk. It also moves Moscow’s influence one step closer to Germany.
What will be NATO’s response? An “iron curtain” separating Russian territories from NATO ones. I’m totally fine with that. The bifurcated economy becomes a bifurcated political cold war as well. But what does this mean? I believe it LESSENS the risk of nuclear war. Why? Because it gives Russia added security! Not only can it threaten all of Europe more directly from West Ukraine, it also seals the Black Sea from NATO incursions.
That said, I wish Gonzalo the best of luck as I know he feels threatened by the Ukrainian secret police and believes he must take to the road to escape. Hopefully he will be ok and best of luck to him.
Gonzalo, makes excellent points, very valid, and though his language is catered to the normal audience. Everyone should watch it, even Saker ;)
Btw: he didn’t say NATO was going to use Nuclear weapons, but the reaction from Rob Lee suggesting they should, from a PhD intellect with only text-book mentality who is out of touch with reality which comprises most of the western think tanks.
The difference he makes between Russians and American method of waging wars is spot on.
Thankful he says it so honestly, risking it for Truth and humanity
Your statement: “Btw: he didn’t say NATO was going to use Nuclear weapons, but the reaction from Rob Lee suggesting they should, from a PhD intellect with only text-book mentality who is out of touch with reality which comprises most of the western think tanks.”
This is incorrect. Start the video at 17:11. He says that the USA leadership is filled with Rob Lee types At 21:52 he says people like Rob Lee don’t understand Russia’s message because he says, and I quote, “they’re too stupid. They have no judgement…. and since they’ve never failed, they have no judgement, and they might cause a catastrophe.” His whole argument is that the Rob Lee types would drop a nuke. In his words (to hear this start the video at 19:37), they would drop a nuke “to show them that we’re tough. We have to throw a nuclear weapon on them to show them!”
I fundamentally disagree with this statement. And I disagree with your assessment of it. If Russia were to violate NATO boundaries, there is a high likelihood there would be a non-nuclear response. I think the most likely course of action would be for NATO forces to enter the western part of Ukraine. Russia might consider this an act of war and attack. But it might, as Saker and Alexander Mercouris believe, be just fine with Russia. The goal, I believe in their minds, is that Russia would be happy with a partition and that the area of western Ukraine is so rabidly anti-Russian that it would be best to let it stay in the West.
Of course all of this is dangerous. But I’ve written on this blog before, Russia did not enter this operation to cause a nuclear war. It entered it to PREVENT a nuclear war.
He said it was his fear and it is a fear shared by many who understand the shear lack of reasoned judgement characteristic of western leadership.
The Cuban missile crisis is an example where, if not for rational actors at the last moment could have resulted in a big huge OOPS!
So why split hairs and try to come across that you have a superior analysis over Gonzalo?
Why try to dismiss his and many others fear of a Nuclear war that could be triggered by shear stupidity. These are the same types that are engaged in bio-warfare research on Russia’s doorstep. The same types that consider their experimental gene vaccine safe and effective! The same types that believe their own lies.
You bet I am afraid…
Gonzalo says (in a nutshell) that stupid leadership in NATO will drop a nuke. That may be his fear but it is IMO extremely unlikely. NATO and the USA have both said they have no intention on fighting a war with Russia in Ukraine. So far they have not entered Ukraine but they most certainly could enter Ukraine if given the orders to move forward.
Do I believe there is a chance of a nuclear war? Of course. Do I believe this would be ordered as a NATO/USA first strike? I simply do not believe NATO/USA would risk a nuclear war over Ukraine. It’s simply not that important to them except as a wedge to weaken Russia. This is the goal of the USA/NATO – to weaken Russian and cause a color revolution there. Furthermore, Russia’s goal in Ukraine is to deprive NATO of a forward staging ground by which it might wage conventional war at some point in the future against Russia. By so doing, it is actually PREVENTING nuclear war. This should be obvious. If Ukraine is not a NATO state, it greatly reduces the chance that NATO/USA and Russia come to blows.
You can be afraid if you want. Perfectly logical IMO. I too am wary. But I am convinced that neither party wants a nuclear war. If they did, why not push the button now?
The key to prevention is Russia replacing the Ukraine with a neutered military and political structure and setting up a defensive military posture in the West part of the country. This will not happen tomorrow. But it is happening and will continue to happen.
I enjoyed Gonzalo’s video. I think he said that he is in Kharkiv. It appeared that he was in Kiev earlier. Does anyone know why he is in Ukraine? If he is in danger, why does he choose to remain in Ukraine? It seems weird that he would make such blatantly pro Russia videos inside Ukraine during Russia’s military operation there. Does anyone know anything about his history and how he became so knowledgeable about Russian military matters?
From a great, Nobel Prize winning poet in ‘the land of the free’ …
“Maggie comes fleet foot
Face full of black soot
Talkin’ that the heat put
Plants in the bed but
The phone’s tapped anyway
Maggie says that many say
They must bust in early May
Orders from the D.A.
“Look out kid
Don’t matter what you did
Walk on your tiptoes
Don’t try “No-Doz”
Better stay away from those
That carry around a fire hose
Keep a clean nose
Watch the plain clothes
You don’t need a weatherman
To know which way the wind blows”
Good. I can hardly wait for Russia’s next special military operation to liberate Canada from its slavery to U.S. imperial interests … not least of which is being the #1 petroleum supplier to U.S. “strategic reserves’ until it runs out of that too. C’mon Russia! You could kill two birds with one stone, cutting off strategic supplies to your worst enemy while freeing at least one extremely grateful Canadian, and I suspect more than a few others as well.
Yep, and then sail and fly across the Pacific, clean the Davos scum out of NZ on the way to Australia and dismantle Pine Gap, send a few kalibers in to the US marines barracks in Darwin, and assassinate every Zionist controlled traitor in govt., media and bureaucracy.
btw, saw the Mykolaiv barracks attack termed an “attack on civilians” earlier this morning (since scrubbed). Severe cognitive dissonance observable in Western media as the narrative crumbles. Multiple huge shocks are coming in the next week or so as the reality of this war sets in.
While we track the global information warfare, for that what is going on, informational warfare,
the kinetic warfare is only the stage for the information warfare!
As with The Great War (so-called WWI) and the Great Patriotic War (so-called WWII), it’s fucking weird!
Many of you see it similarly to me, Russia waited to the last second to stop genocide!
Yet we hear talk of holding crimes against humanity proceeding against the president of the Russia Federation, similar to Nuremberg?!
We’re in an unholy cross-breed of Kaftka and Orwell!
This is a war on humanity
It includes the humanity, which has been brainwashed as a result of the warfare, and duped into adopting the socio-pathic genocidal extremist racism in consideration of all things “Russian“.
A the highest century-level strategic perspective:
Who is profiting?
Who has the most complete control of the infrastructure which delivers the warfare to the people?
Who is at war against humanity?
Eventually, to survive, it will be necessary to admit who is at war with humanity?!
The big question is America willing to accept that its reign as the world’s only SuperPower is over, and that America has to return to being a member of the community of nations?
So far, the American reply has been a firm “Hell, No!” to that question.
Does anything about this current American elites (and I don’t personalize this to ‘Biden’) say that they have the morality and character to refrain from using nuclear weapons?
Since I find it hard to even use the words ‘morality’ and ‘character’ in the same sentence with ‘American elites’, I’m afraid I’ve answered my own question. These people have been willing to kill 1,000,000 Americans, lost to a preventable and containable deadly disease, so no, I don’t believe that they have any moral objections to mass slaughter. There are giant piles of corpses in America and more abroad that say the answer to the question of whether the American elites have morality is yet another “Hell, No!”
The US will not resort to a nuclear first strike as long as there is a substantial risk that the counter strike might inflict very serious damage on them and wipe them out, too. Why?
Because US leaders (political and military) as well as many of their soldiers are mostly cowards. There is a reason they fight their “wars” the way they do. And why they won’t fight them, if they can’t fight them that way.
The US is far from done as global superpower. As long as they see a good chance to keep China/Russia at bay without thermoculear war, they will got for it. Alternatively, they will seek to get into a gesostrategic position for a winnable nuclear war. Which Ukraine’s Nato membership is all about from the USA’s point of view.
“The US will not resort to a nuclear first strike as long as there is a substantial risk that the counter strike might inflict very serious damage on them and wipe them out, too.”
I have to disagree. They may be “cowards” but they’re also “demon-possessed.” To put it into worldly terms, they’re criminally insane. If this was not the case they wouldn’t have deployed Aegis Ashore missile launchers in Europe and exited the INF treaty for example. Even if they don’t presently have any definite plans to launch a nuclear first strike they seem to be telegraphing such an intent.
“The US is far from done as global superpower.”
On the contrary the U.S. is finished as a global superpower; its decline is irreversible.
Would have to disagree with your disagreement. There will not be a nuclear first strike. If you truly believed that the West was criminally insane and would launch a nuke at Russia then you would not be typing posts on the Saker blog! LOL.
That said, the USA is not done as a global superpower, though it is certainly leaking water. It is not the military situation that will reduce the USA to multi-polar status. It is true, short of nuclear war, that it does not have the means to fight a two-front war (vs. Russia and China). But that is not the threat to the USA one should focus on. The threat is from the USA inability to control the world economy.
China holds all the cards. Why? Its economy is strong enough to counter-balance diminished trade with or loss of the USA market and it only grows stronger each day. The BRI will bring markets and producers to China and China, as the chief world producer, will thrive without the USA market.
The USA market cannot thrive without China. It also cannot thrive without reasonably priced energy. And a recession is coming. How large it will be is anyone’s guess, but it will be serious enough to remove Ukraine from the front pages of its news cycle and result in a rout of Democrats in the election later this year.
Will that rout produce a more rational USA approach to Russia and China? Unlikely. The rightwing of the USA political spectrum is heavily invested in hate of Russia AND China. But they too will find that without an industrial base, the USA lacks the means to increase its economic influence and command of the world stage and instead will find that, like the neo-liberals currently in charge, they will be unable to reverse the situation. Decline is inevitable as there is no billionaire support for the kinds of long term investments necessary to improve the lot of USA education, infrastructure and its industrial base.
Would have to disagree with your disagreement. There will not be a nuclear first strike. If you truly believed that the West was criminally insane and would launch a nuke at Russia then you would not be typing posts on the Saker blog! LOL.
“LOL” indeed at your absurd non sequitur.
“That said, the USA is not done as a global superpower, though it is certainly leaking water.”
Nonsense. Of course it is; it’s finished and it’s not coming back. What you don’t seem to understand is that evil destroys itself. You can’t have breathtaking government corruption at all levels, all manner of perversions rampant in society, unlimited money printing; runaway inflation, unaffordable housing, increasing homelessness, unaffordable health care, an opioid epidemic, completely out of control crime, indoctrination centers masquerading as schools, etc., and still have a “superpower.” Cut the sophistry and take a look around.
I submitted a comment earlier re: Gonzalo Lira’s livestream video this morning (Sat 19th) where I mistakenly wrote he had referred to “200 KIA officers.” He actually said 100.
Ray McGovern asked an interesting question on a podcast today. “Who is writing Zelensky’s speeches? Victoria Nuland? the US Ambassador to Ukraine?” Does anybody know?

Yes one of the accounts I follow has indeed found the speechwriter and it was as expected, some western deepstate shill. But I can’t seem to find which account posted it, it was like 1 or 2 days ago. If I find it again I will let you know
The other day, some commenter made a reference to a pro-Ukrainian propaganda piece in the Financial Times. I responded by pointing out that FT is a Japanese newspaper since 2015, and FT changed its Chief Editor in 2020. Ever since that change, FT has been getting more and more political, less and less “financial”, and bigger and bigger non-factual. For a concerned long-long-time reader, 30 years plus, I also pointed out the same thing to FT. You don’t expect them to change a bit, do you? You got that right!
FT is especially hostile toward China. Anything China got reported, negative. Anything positive China, no news value. Their repeated trick is to turn a less negative report into a harsh headline.
These developments indicated that there are some sort of hidden financial supports for the Mass News Media. US has a law to provide financial supports to MNM to “compete” against the evil China. That budget can also be diverted to “compete” against Russia right now.
Anything related to governmental endeavors, especially “hot” projects, can be a fly attractor. Cohorts, gangs, bands of brothers or sisters or whatever, even relatives, would feed from this hidden dark trough. Hunter Biden is a good example. Unscrupulous, unqualified, but they are the “experts”. if somebody is paying. No performance evaluation required.
That is why we are seeing some really off the wall commentators. As long as somebody is footing the bill, and the more outrageous to the benefactor’s delights the more funding, why the MNM should worry about fact checks and standards? You don’t want to hurt the bottom line, do you?
So, PSYOP, or not, there is a cut-throat competition to get funding of printed fiat money. The badness can only get worse to hit the bottom of the hell. Capitalistic free market, right?
Does the US have a plan? The US plan hasn’t changed in 4 decades. Dominate through economic power, threaten or destroy weak nations with military power, and subvert target nations through lies, propaganda, proxy forces and co-option of local elites. The US mastered, nay virtually invented, modern continental war between 1861 and 1865. Continental warfare is not difficult to understand. It is irrelevant to the way The Empire does business. Do US methods of subversion and economic dominance work? Well it’s how the US has controlled East Asia, Africa, and post-Soviet Eastern Europe for decades–in the case of Latin America, for over a century. And it nearly destroyed Russia prior to Putin. It is the standard methodology of US Empire. Russian military victory has never been in doubt by anyone. Certainly not by the behind the scenes people who put this effort together for The Empire. Will US subversion work in the case at hand? Likely not, thank goodness. But the reason is not because Russia is unique militarily or culturally. It is because it has China at its back.
Is the revival of the Hunter Biden laptop affair, which is pretty damning to daddy, be a pinch by the brighter bulbs in Washington, facilitating a major political upheaval, as the (thus far) only option for the US to extract itself from the corner it painted itself into?
I suspect there are certain people in leadership positions who are compromised by personal financial interests in Ukraine – and much of the hatred you have seen spewed comes from that. Not the money lost perhaps but the exposure generated.
The pilgrims left their most destructive country, England, sailed to N America, stole from & murdered the native inhabitants & have been thieving & murdering the planet ever since.
YankeeDoodleDandies live in a most lush & agreeable country (that they stole) & yet still want to own the rest of the world cause they’re special. The Ukraine just the latest ‘Uk…et al’ disaster. I have friends that I like in the US, but to the US’s so called ‘elite’ & their Anglo/EU/Israeli toadies, I say f*ck off.
Every decade of this life I’ve thought there was a possibility of reform of the Empire, every decade that reform failed & the deadbeat Yanks doubled down on their ‘own everything’ destruction, no surprise their friends are who they are.
Now there appears to be the power available in the RF & China & friends to make change. Now once again I hope reform won’t be cobbled by traitors from within under their ‘neo’ spell of: what in it for me.
Just as an aside. This Ukraine disaster has at least exposed the web of so called progressive frauds within, who have all of a sudden become shrills for Empire – astonishing stupid but at last for me they’re gone before I die
The Ukie nazis continue to hope for a Nato intervention even if they have to provoke it.

SBU OFFICER SURRENDERED TO THE RUSSIANS AND GAVE AWAY ALL PLANS: A TERRORIST ATTACK WAS BEING PREPARED AGAINST THE UNITED STATES
The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported about an employee of the Main Directorate of the SBU for the Donetsk and Lugansk regions who surrendered. He betrayed all the plans of the nationalists. In particular, he reported on the impending terrorist attack in Lviv, directed against foreign diplomats, including American ones.
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, specified that during the military special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, an employee of the Main Directorate of the SBU for the Donetsk and Luhansk regions voluntarily surrendered to our servicemen.
It turned out to be a very valuable language. As it turned out, this SBU officer “took a direct part in organizing the training of sabotage and terrorist groups for work in areas liberated from nationalists.”
And he also gave out all the plans of the nationalists that he knew about. In particular, he announced the preparation of a terrorist attack by militants of the Ukrainian national battalion, directed against foreign diplomats in Lvov. Attacks were planned both against employees and against diplomatic missions of the United States and other Western countries.
The Russian general drew particular attention to the fact that “the leadership of the Kiev regime is aware of the plans of the nationalists, but does not take any action to prevent their implementation.”
And this is not surprising, because the main goal of the upcoming provocation is to put pressure on the North Atlantic Alliance and force NATO countries to introduce a “no-fly zone” over Ukraine. In Kyiv, obviously, they do not want to hear what Western politicians and high-ranking officials have already stated more than once: the introduction of a “no-fly zone” could lead to NATO being drawn into a conflict with Russia. The Alliance does not want this.
deepl translator:
“During the negotiations, Lavrov said, “we have constantly had the impression that the Ukrainian delegation is controlled by someone, probably the Americans, and prevented from agreeing to our requests, which I consider absolutely minimal.”
“In spite of everything, the talks are advancing,” concluded the Russian foreign minister.”
“Russia could smuggle female agents into the UK among Ukrainian refugees to carry out biological or chemical terror attacks, home secretary Priti Patel has claimed.”
imagine the level of dumbing down of your population that has to be achieved via decades of incessant propaganda and a collapse in the education system, for a population to believe such cartoonishly infantile stuff?
Imagine? No, reality here in the UK. A working class that hasn’t a pot to piss in but assumes middle class modes and values. However, since the emergence of dual-passported opposition Labour party alternatives are sparse.
We don’t even have to imagine NV, we can see it in real time.
Recall the infantile Novichok skipral affair. Two hapless Russian spies blundered around the green English country side with a perfume bottle full of a “deadly nerve agent” that also happened to be available at Porten Down, a few klms from Skipral’s crib.
The foremost reason today to learn a language other than English today is not for culture or communication, but for information. The English media is controlled and heavily censured; you will never have access to material that tells you what is going on or what has happened since WWII with the necessary proof and details in English. Until recently, I was recommending Spanish, German and Italian (which I always wanted to learn but haven’t). Today, I just know that you need to be able to read another language, but I don’t know at the moment which one.
It was translated to english now and has really interesting and at least for me new information, for example the fact that
“We forget that Crimea was independent, even before Ukraine became independent. In January 1991, while the Soviet Union still existed, Crimea held a referendum to be managed from Moscow and not from Kiev. It thus became an Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Ukraine did not get its own independence referendum until six months later in August 1991. At that point, Crimea did not consider itself a part of Ukraine. But Ukraine did not accept this. Between 1991 and 2014, it was a constant struggle between the two entities. Crimea had its own constitution with its own authorities. In 1995, encouraged by the Budapest Memorandum, Ukraine overthrew the Crimean government with special forces and abrogated its constitution.”
“US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin traveled to Bulgaria on Saturday, where he met with Prime Minister Kiril Petkov to discuss the Ukrainian crisis and apparently asked Sofia to provide military aid to Kiev. The Bulgarian PM said no.
Bulgarian citizens rallied on Saturday against giving its “few remaining weapons” to Ukraine and demanded the withdrawal of NATO from the country.
Demonstrators gathered in front of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense, where Austin and Petkov met for a joint press conference, waving Bulgarian and Russian flags. They were heard chanting, “NATO Out.”
Similar protests took place in Rome and Piza, Italy, where activists of a major Italian trade union, USB, opposed sending weapons to Ukraine and called on the government to ditch NATO.”
A short news from Slovenia.
The visit of Kiew of our prime minister didn’t exist. Information about this is slowly pouring into our country. By now it is promptly censored.
Our defence minister is again like a child. He is publicly saying that our country is completly safe (Zagreb is close to us where Ukrainian drone fell). We can shot down drones, missiles and such. But we have only strela air defence man portable missiles and nothing else. He also said that our mighty airforce is also capable of defending our country. But we have only a few Pilatus propeler planes with unguided air to ground rockets. He was flown by American general in a F16 plane in Aviano a few months ago and he is still in different reality since.
We will also defend Slovakia with 200 men. From which state? Chief of staff was not so excited. He thinks this number is to big since our army is also in Kosovo and Latvia and we don’t have enough soldiers for rotation. 200 will be in Slovakia, 200 at home preparing for the mission and 200 on vacation from the mission. So we need 600 just for this, 600 for Kosovo and 150 for Latvia and 150 for other missions. Someone should also be at home and here is the problem. Who will be at home?
It was obvious that there is no way that 3 EU PM would go into a war zone especially because it is also obvious that Zelensky isn’t in Kiev anymore because his last messages look like some bad green screen technique.
I took today’s effort by b at MoA, borrowed his title and expanded on the content with a few tips to Russia on nation building that I’ve haven’t seen explored by any other writers yet and published the results in this article.
Making it into a guest article would be fine by me if it meets that standard.
Thanks Saker I am deeply grateful to you for your information work, and the depth and competence of your analysis. Here in Italy we are practically hostage to the most extremist fringe of the local Deep State, a direct emanation of that Anglo Zionist, and by now there are no governments ever elected and therefore illegitimate that have followed one another for practically 11 years. In our parliament there is even a majority formed by the “Movimento 5 Stelle” party born to fight the establishment (only to talk but never in fact), founded by a comedian (Beppe Grillo, the Italian version of Zelensky) and a crazy ideologist (Roberto Casaleggio, who died a few years ago), who already in 2008 published a short video, where his “vision” of the world emerged. I believe this vision comes from an inner circle of the globalist Deep State, which is trying to make his dreams come true, at the expense of the rest of humanity of course. Note only the 4-year delay from the start of the war “predicted” by them (the 4 years due to the surprise election won by Trump?).
Thanks for the open thread so I can express my great gratitude – especially for the articles from James Tweedie on defining fascism, from Amarynth and Godfree Roberts on China coming, and the translations of the discussion and day’s summary from Boris Rozhin. This place is a University! After what you said about possibly needing to freeze the blog I was most pleasantly surprised to find so much great info posted so soon. I sure hope your stress/frustration level is coming down, Good Professor Saker – and that you’re doing everything that is good for your maximal health and happiness and peace of mind! Thanks again.
There is no slow down here. The Saker only explained when such an action may be necessary from a personal perspective. Nobody wants to contemplate something like ‘Japanese Interment Camps’!
I don’t know whether partition of Ukraine will happen, but the assumption that Russia will hive off Galicia that so many make seems to me too dangerous for Russia. Russia’s true adversary is not the regime running Ukraine but the regime running the West, particularly its military arm, which in Europe means NATO. To be optimally positioned to reckon with the challenge of NATO and to maintain any hope of having its December demands for security guarantees met, Russia has to control the Ukrainian border with NATO. From there it can apply pressure to NATO’s soft underbelly, the Balkans, and place the focus on the US missile emplacements in Romania, where it belongs. This means Russia will have to deal with an insurgency in western Ukraine, but it probably will be faced with that problem even if it leaves western Ukraine alone, the difference being the insurgency will instead be concentrated in the center rather than the west. So, I agree with Scott Ritter and Andrei Martinyanov that Russia must take all of Ukraine. I also think it needs to do so soon, to cut off the flow of weapons and fighters flowing in from Poland et al as far as possible. They can do this by striking from SW Belorus, encircling Lvov and taking the border, while at the same start sealing off the Carpathians by striking north from Transdniestria and sending in troops from the areas north of Odessa. To seal off Ukraine from western aid would also be a major blow to the morale of Ukrainian troops still in the field. This is something Russia could do once Mariupol is taken. It seems to me much more important than seizing Kiev and Kharkov.
Yes, tragically, @Midge is telling it like it is. US/NATO is literally forcing Russia to take her national security matters and concerns into her own hands, and it appears that there is no better alternative for the RF but to draw new borders and throw up a new Iron Curtain. There are no good options, they are all bad, because US/NATO simply will not cooperate; if all of the RF’s security concerns are “non-starters,” then Russia is left to solve her problems on her own. Russia always has to do everything the hard way. The mask is off anyway, there’s no turning back. Russia will never even pretend trust the West again.
You are probably right in regards to the decision the Krelim shoud reach, midge. Anything less than making the whole of Ukraine neutral territory will be a step lost to Nato.
I was of the opinion that trying to denazify Western Ukraine was a lost cause… but let’s think about what Russia has achieved in getting Chechnia on its side… with the change in political, media, educational and cultural structures, Western Ukraine can also be turned around.
I truly believe that the Nazi actions are sub-human and if the natural human instincts are taught, the population can be as one… but will take a generation.
DONETSK, March 19. /TASS/. Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic have liberated 98 settlements, including the city of Ugledar, since February 24, the DPR territorial defense headquarters said on Saturday.
“As of March 19, 2022, the DPR troops have liberated 98 settlements, including Ugledar,” it wrote on its Telegram channel.
The DPR People’s Militia said earlier on Saturday that it has begun an operation to liberate the city of Maryinka west of Donetsk, where Ukrainian troops shelled Donetsk from.
Now a few videos from today.
Russian airstrike takes out a Kiev regime sabotage-reconnaissance group:
To me it is completely clear that the “west” Is looking for a war between europe/nato and Russia.
But they are desperate for the support of the sheeple, , ,
Doing a fals flag like the one planned against lviv attacking western leaders will provide the excuse needed. And that proves, among other things, that they want a war between europe and Russia.
The cowards in usa think that they can keep the war in europe, that is why they will push until they create that….
Most probable Is the weakest link,, Romania.
When that happens ,, good luck for all planet earth.
The key point (one of many but the new insight for me) was how Cooke explained the Russian context as a long “Cancel Culture” exercise that has been in operation since the Communist Revolution in the early 1910-20’s. He raises it at the very start.
Framed as such, and referring to V. Lenin et al, it makes a lot more sense of current events for me — i.e., not as a war by Russia, but rather as a new civilizational re-awakening and identity project after 100 years of ‘cancel culture’ under the USSR rubric. This vector is what must be driving the core levels of collective insanity in Britain and USA today. This IS a genuine “Hello, … it’s me again!” moment — and they did not see it coming!
[And btw, I think the apparent ‘quirkiness’ as a national personality is quite endearing — it’s almost as if the elephant in the room suddenly started taking.]
The novelty is not the return of the “USSR” discourse, which is clearly not planned (e.g., Brain-dead according to V. Putin). Rather it is the final emergence onto the world stage of a completely new element in geopolitics and economics — a conservative Russian Christian cultural revival after 100-years of submergence in globalist ideology. Its novelty derives from that social/cultural space that potentially could have developed after Czarist Russia if the communist ideology had not taken root during the 20th century.
This sentiment was also expressed well by Pepe Escobar in a recent tweet (with nice image) quoting V. Putin’s mention of “The icon of 18th century Admiral Ushakov, referred to by Putin during Reunification of Crimea Day” — “Do not be saddened, these dark storms will turn for the glory of Russia.” https://twitter.com/RealPepeEscobar PE
I think Alistair Crooke has contributed an important insight with this point in developments. And little wonder that largely ignorant Western mindsets cannot easily deal with this deeper complexity. I am now watching the show with much more interest. Technology plus culture plus friends – two bears (Russian & Chinese Panda) are now resetting the world stage for a more responsible state-controlled capitalism (e.g., Singapore) rather than a capitalism-controlled state (e.g., USA). Perhaps the 3rd (little) bear is the emerging Novorussia?
Quite a geopolitical flip — I wonder if even V. Putin realised what has been unleashed with his “nyet, means nyet” push back? We enter Ramadan in early April and it promises to be a rather remarkable month — both on the ground (earth) and in higher realms. The Chechens will be in their prime element dispatching nazi thugs to their fates — definitely well timed, imo. It smells of “success” all the way through.
No such thing as accurate numbers. Russian officials only gave their official losses one time so far, at 498 and that was about 2 weeks ago now. With that said the heaviest losses were in the first week, Russia hasn’t suffered much losses since then RELATIVELY SPEAKING. Plus those losses might have counted LDNR troops as well that take heavier losses than Russian forces. So by now you can estimate Russian losses anywhere in that 500-1500 range. As for Ukie losses, Ukie officials I believe “officially” claim they’ve had around 1500 losses, but Russian MOD claims Ukraine has lost somewhere near 20,000.
I trust Russian MOD much more on these things simply because they have proven to have a history of telling the truth much more than the Ukrainian side. For instance, when there was the “conscript” debacle occurred, instead of hiding it or covering it up which he could have done easily, Putin handled it publicly and said he will have it investigated and the people who “messed up” will be punished for accidentally bringing a conscript unit into the war. So with that level of genuine frankness, I do believe Russian MOD calculations are honest and accurate, at least insofar as their own losses.
As for equipment losses, both sides claim the other has lost about 20,000 vehicles or some such wild number.
By the way, the U.S. lost about 10,000 – 15,000 men in D-Day storming of Normandy, Omaha and all the beaches. And we all know how bloody that was. So compare that to the fighting in Ukraine to get an idea of who might be telling the truth about what.
Let me tell you, absolutely the most horrifying, devastating and heart breaking video to come out of Ukraine today – in the middle of the intersection, sitting lonely, no bullet holes, minor scuffs, small damage in the rear end, it was a beautiful red coloured model 3 long range Tesla. Abandoned by the owners…. ran out of charge ;( oh why! I was simply shocked!
Yep, I saw it. I’m sure as soon as “Elona Musk” gets a whiff of that footage, his ego won’t let him waste such a bountiful opportunity for some witty comment or “meme” or more likely: the offer to replace that owner’s Tesla free of charge to show how munificent and giving he is to the people of Ukraine
The involvement of the Poles in the UKN crisis (troops, sending weapons and planes etc) I think needs for Russia to think about the possibility of asserting more influence there, and perhaps a takeover if things escalate.
Poland should have more respect for Russia having liberated them in 1945 yet many join with the UKN radicals.
On the overall peace talks while I am not privy to the negotiations going on, it appears to me Zelensky and his western masters are simply stringing things along dragging it out right til the end with no intention of negotiating a cease to the war until the very last moment when there may be a last moment effort to save his govt when nearly everything is lost. If they really wanted a end it would have happened by now. Russia therefore needs to put a deadline for concluding negotiations well before the last moment.
Is the Polish decision to double its military from 150k to 300k a sign of looming trouble for Russia? Is NATO showing its hand again that they will pit Slav against Slav (Polish against Russian)?
Just an FYI, although old news, but there was some doubts about the news regarding the death of the Canadian Sniper. The news is true, the moment it was announced, the dude is truly dead.
His daily blogs been shut down. Tragic that a human beings talent could be used to serve pure evil, conditioned to think he was righteous. Instead of serving God, and helping mankind better itself.
How the Plaza Accord helped to destroy the Japanese economy; And how the US is doing it again to China.
Despite being one of the most masterful pieces of foreign policy conducted by the United States to establish itself as the indisputable superpower, most of you have probably not heard of the Plaza Accord.
However, you might have heard about the Japan’s lost decade, or lost decades. This the time period starting around 1990 that resulted in the stagnation of the Japanese economy that to even this day, it has not fully recovered from. If you take PPP per capita to be a measure of standard of living, then the standard of living in Japan has not improved for three decades. Additionally, the Nikkei 225, the stock index of major Japanese companies peaked in 1990 again, three decades later has still not returned to the same level. During the same period of time, the US stock index has return 1,000%. (Yes, that’s one-thousand. Not a typo.)
“Little wonder the Western world does not take Russia seriously. The Kremlin lets its Western enemies run Russia’s central bank. It might as well turn the Russian military over to to US General Mark A. Milley. Indeed, considering the length of time passed and Russia still has not subdued the extremely weak Ukrainian forces, it seems that the operation is indeed in US hands. Will it go on 20 years like Washington’s war in Afghanistan?
The Russian government, in the midst of what President Putin has acknowledged as a “Western war of annihilation against Russia,” continues to keep Western industry alive by selling the West energy and strategic minerals. The traitor or incompetent at the central bank has told him Russia needs the foreign exchange.
Someone should tell Putin that this is no way to fight a war. Actually, the Chechnya leader did tell him that, to no effect.”
Appears to me that with the bio-warfare exposures and the Covid connections, hypersonic missiles, China’s rather dramatic warnings to the West, the collapse of the petro-dollar, and the dollar bust, the EU bond trashing, the lack of confidence in the West as a whole (hole?), the putrid garbage being published by the Western MSM and their talking heads, that – apart from a Bolshevik wild card nuclear event, the West, led by the Zionists, and the USA, the dollar is dead along with the US economy. The latter having nought but food shortages to look forward to, that will, as always, bring revolution and civil war to North American.
Watch for the private jets departing for Israel, far more than from Ukraine last week.

New Financial Centre will be Shanghai
New Reserve Currency (SDR) is already in place includes Bonds, Loans and Fiat.
The USA needs a new leader, yet not one in sight; a leader with courage, integrity, honesty, honour and the gift of insight; all known as ‘Providence’.
“…the US economy. The latter having nought but food shortages to look forward to, that will, as always, bring revolution and civil war to North American.”
The U.S. is a major food exporter. I don’t think food will be lacking.
“Hypersonic missiles”
And maybe even all the other weapons too? That’s the impression: More quiet submarines, the best tank, most advanced radars now (I think even realizing already what Putin said to Megyn Kelly, that by the time the U.S. has hypersonic weapons Russia would have defenses against them), biggest transportation plane, etc. Better food for soldiers? That would be my bet, also if they make hamburgers for the soldiers (against the odds bet). Why? It’s the impression because they are spending about half of what China spends and 18 times less than what the United States spends on the military per year. Putin told Oliver Stone in 2016 that their military spending was actually going down on a percentage basis and would continue to do so. It is said that the U.S. military-industrial sector can only grow. Not with these results! It is Russia that has the hypersonic weapons today. The most important reason why the arms race must end is not the general economy or welfare, but that such results can get much worse: What happens if the military engineers of Russia get spending for their sector that amounts to one-third of what the U.S. spends? Even if from 18 times less it were to go up to just 9 times less? What would that spell, what could it spell? A meeting to decide on all this should not last long. People are forgetting – Senators, Congressmen, TV pundits – that they have hypersonic weapons while spending so much less on the military, but you can’t forget it because it can get much worse with the same people involved. (It’s sort of like in boxing: A man who gets KOed by Golovkin quickly, does not want to fight him again because it gets worse, and nobody wants to see it again.) Now that hypersonic weapons are being used, the fact nobody else has them should tell the story. Fortunately, Putin is a responsible leader who said he wants to work to end the arms race.
“Rosoboronexport brings to market the latest radar capable of detecting hypersonic targets”
I am going to stick my neck out of my comfy carapace and make a prediction resulting from the SMO (Special Military Operation). Back in 2014 I “advised” the Russian leaders that they should have seized the occasion (the Maidan coup d’etat), stopped the “polite people parody” and take openly the bull by the horns as the Portuguese “forcados” do. See the pic, bare handed:
The rationale for my “advice” was that Russia had the moral high ground to intervene to:
(1) – Save the constitutional and democratic government in Kiev and restore order;
(2) – Protect the Russian people;
(3) – Prevent the emergence of an enemy state on its border;
(4) – Reconfigure the map of Ukraine to undo the political arrangements decreed by Versailles (1919) and internal administrative changes during Soviet times.
[It is pertinent to remember that there was never an Ukrainian state – it had been a province of Russia for yonks and part of Pale of Settlement (the western regions where the Jews were settled). Also note that Russia was excluded from Versailles and was entitled to recover its historical lands, which was done at the conclusion of WWII. It is also appropriate to remember that 81% of Ukrainians voted in the 1991 referendum to remain a republic within the USSR, higher than the Russian republic, 73%.]
The incentive to act more assertively in 2014 was further encouraged by weak NATO’s response to the reunion of Crimea with the motherland – the inevitable propaganda barrage cum sanctions – and the realisation that it was incapable of doing any serious damage, even then when Russia was militarily weaker than today. Clearly Russia was caught flat-footed then under the watch VV Putin.
The Russian current posture has been greatly improved by its reaction to the previous economic sanctions and the innovative military improvements to its arsenal and, certainly, the preparation and disposition of its forces to be engaged in a critical future military confrontation, which I attribute to the lessons learned in 2014 to prepare Russia for a potential showdown with the Hegemon. The fact that Russia decided to intervene now, and not before, is almost an iron-clad proof that the Kremlin is ready and willing to what might be the battle of the Titans. There is an aura of confident determination in the Russian leadership’s demeanour suggesting that their stance will be vindicated by the conclusion of the current crisis with a resounding victory over its enemies without resorting to a full-scale nuclear solution. How did Russia do it? What its consequences?
It is my opinion that the politico-diplomatic description of the war as “special military operation” to denazify and demilitarize the Ukraine is an euphemism and cover for “dismembering NATO”, the real ultimate objective. Why incur the wrath and name-calling from the whole of the Western establishment and military posturing from a safe distance if not for an assured certainty of winning the contest now? Why delay the inevitable when Russia now enjoys, I presume, based on all available evidence, a weapon superiority capable of deciding the outcome once and for all if it comes to that. The Hegemon is not going out by reasoning, morality, laws and is not likely to fall on its sword without bringing calamity after catastrophe on some hapless country fallen into its claws; it has to be pushed into the abyss of its own creation.
The only feasible way to bring about that desirable desideratum is, firstly, to eliminate the NATO launch pads from Europe and drive a wedge between the captive nations of and their prison governor. Once that is achieved, the removal of those launch pads will make Russia much safer and make the first-strike option an unanswerable reality to make the Hegemon more responsive to the world demands to be free from its claws. Therefore now its the time to insert that wedge, probably why we are where we are now.
The wedge is not necessarily an open hot warfare with NATO; methodically, the experiment in Ukraine is going to move to the next launch pads, Poland and Romania, not with an invasion, but with an invitation to remove those unsightly sites staining the landscape. If the invitation is declined, Russia will do it, with a forewarning just timely enough for the personnel to escape, and send the bill for reimbursement of expenses incurred to do the job. Will they or the Hegemon retaliate? No, they will not risk it. Why risk the destruction of, say, Washington or some other “valuable” target for the sake to a launchpad in some far away place. They may behaved like rabid dogs snarling at little countries, but when the reality of impending doom reaches home, they will behave like docile poodles.
And there you are. One by one the older launchpads will follow the domino effect because the realization that no country will endanger its survival because of a launchpad will hit home, pardon the pun. Coincidentally, it will dawn on the captive countries that the Hegemon would not jeopardize its existence for the sake of its prisoners, hence Art. 5 was only the figleaf for the tripwire to enable the Hegemon to circumvent the UN Art 51 under the guise of “collective defence”.
Et voila! NATO closes shop and mankind will live happily thereafter.
PS – Someone might describe how the other “rabid dog” (copyright Moshe Dayan) will be tamed or shot for public health reasons.
I was reading on Moon of Alabama that the Ukranian National Security Advisor wrote a letter to the White House and the CIA to request money in support of an insurgency in Russian held areas. The document is dated 06/03/2022 and asked the US “to allocate additional funds for the organisation of the resistance movement and voluntary formation of territorial communities throughout the Ukraine”.
The White House and Ukrainian Embassy have vehemently denied that the letter is real. MOA believes it is very real. It was just not meant to become public. Of course last week, Biden announced further billions of USD$ of financing to the Ukraine for military purposes. I wonder whether it is linked to this request. Either way, for me, it is clear that the USA, despite it’s protestations are, in fact, at war with Russia despite their denials of this. In addition and, I believe, linked to this, is the clear information provided this week by a senior member of the Ukranian Security Bureau who voluntarily surrendered to the Russians, that the Ukranian army, in particular, the Azov battallions had strategic plans drawn up to attack foreign embassies and other institutions and blame them on Russia in order to secure more military assistance to the Ukraine. The information is apparently comprehensive and well evidenced.
So, I wondered if anyone had any thoughts about just how deeply involved the USA are in drawing up these plans alongside Azov and how much are they involved in developing these strategies?
In 1054 the Eastern church broke with Rome. In the same way, in 2022 Russia breaks with the West. In response, the West sanctions trade with Russia. Russia could have chosen to fight the sanctions, and try to buy Western goods on the black market. Instead, Russia chooses to trade with Asia.
Three hundred years ago, Peter the Great oriented Russia towards Europe. Today, Putin orients Russia towards Asia. Without the sanctions, it would be much more difficult to convince Russians to prefer Asia over Europe, China over the US. With the sanctions, choosing Asia becomes common sense.

Ukrainian sources confirm the liquidation of Alexandra Burgart and 8 other servicemen of this unit.
Recall that on March 14, the 19th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile attack on the center of Donetsk, as a result of which more than 20 civilians were killed.

Waging war on Russia is not the only reason for the billions of dollars pouring into 404, the other powerful reason is the MIC, which lost a source of income after Biden pulled out of Afghanistan. The Afghan withdrawal was directly related to Ukraine, they needed to focus in the upcoming war they had been preparing the Ukronazis for, of which the Russians now have plenty of evidence.
Another powerful reason is, 404 military establishment know they have already been defeated strategically, right now they are going through the motions to show a front to the Russians, and request as much money from the US/NATO idiots, most of that money will never go to a “resistance movement and voluntary formations” blah, blah, blah…it will go to their retirement funds somewhere in Europe or the US.
404 has now become the Nigeria of military aid scam, Zec recently sent a letter out to the European governments warning them about people pretending to represent Ukraine, demanding money for the war effort. The US/Eurostan does not care about the corruption, they just print more dollars, put billions in duffle bags, send them to Ukraine, as they did formerly did in Iraq.
The media reports that Lukashenko assured a Japanese interviewer that Vladimir Putin is “completely sane” Zelensky is supposed to be the one that’s completely sane, and of great stature. I think Zelensky sounds more extraterrestrial than terrestrial: “I’m ready for negotiations with Putin, but if they fail it could mean a third world war.”
The second part of the quote is not addressed to Putin, but to the other leaders and people of the West. Is it all right to speak to them like that, pressuring them, and to try to scare the world? I read that he speaks to the Russian public directly, telling them how many Russian soldiers have died, asking them to do what they can so that this does not continue to happen, and speaking as if Ukraine is going to defeat Russia militarily. He grew up as “a native Russian speaker” (wikipedia). He ought to know Russians better than we do. We have the advantage that we are more sane so to speak, so we can figure that his message to the Russian public only makes them dislike him more, and it strengthens their resolve to support their own government. It is “crazy” of him to speak to them…Putin didn’t speak to the Ukranian people, eh? He could and along the same lines too. It’s not done.

Thank you guys. I’m from Poland and actually half Ukrainian blood but the nonsense here is absurd for many years now. Good to know there is someone not entirely blinded by tv and able to still use logic, common sense and basic human feelings. The average quality of comments here surpasses average Polish tv experts by far. Again, very thankful for sharing your views.
I just watched a video that horrified me….I came across it in twitter. I think I can make out one word that sounds like “castrya” which I suppose is “castrate” in Ukranian??? I love languages, two languages I speak write and read fluently and a third one ( Portuguese) I can read and understand quite well, so I paid keen attention to see if I could catch at least one tiny word. I think I heard something like “castrya” @0:23
This is what is written as the translation:
“At Ukraine 24, the head of the military medical service talks about the fact that the order was given to castrate wounded Russian soldiers, because they are “cockroaches, not people”
Now that a hypersonic missile has been introduced probably as a warning of what may come next…..what will come next?
“Don’t tread on me” is a phrase most Americans understand !!
Thread and tread have two different meanings.
Regarding Threads, watch the British 1984 film of the same name.
It’s the most horrifying depiction of life after nuclear war ever put to celluloid.

Beyond propaganda. Cheers from Aus.
Most relevant to Russia today! A great parallel.
A number of the missile silos haven’t been kept in good condition.

What comes next is that Russia wins the conflict in the Ukraine, and in a manner that cannot be undone or denied.
The results of this fact in the West will not be pretty.
There is no such thing as coincidence.
I would have thought that the sighting of a Russian submarine off of the American coast a couple of months ago would have been a heads up to the war party.
Scroll down for video of hypersonic strike in the southwest area of Ukraine Ivano-Frankivsk region:
https://avia.pro/news/opublikovano-video-udara-raketoy-kinzhal-po-vsu
Bit of a game changer. Yeoww.
Wow is right. Had to watch it 3 times to catch the flight path.
The Kinzhal was launched from a Mig-31. Hence the difference in speed.
It was always stated that hypersonics “can reach up to x” it’s not instantaneous.
Can’t believe 5 people survived. And a dog just ran with all of its might as well.
Very impressive.
04/04/22
These Western Satanists like the Cabal. Want to know the nature of a person? So power to her. Power makes people happy to condemn and grossly manifest their arrogance. I’ve said this before here on the channel:
Humanity has simply reached an impasse. It’s happening exactly as I predicted. This is ignored by most. But God help us, we resist.
Why the 04/04/22?
It’s my son birthdate :p

Right on! I share your sentiment on another post too. Send me some Azovs…..lol.
There’s something really fishy about this video:
https://twitter.com/mod_russia/status/1505141259882704897
That twitter vid was not the hypersonic missile strike
Video downloaded with https://www.savetweetvid.com/ is 25 fps.
Look at the very bottom of the video frame midpoint between the left edge and center at about the 8 sec mark.
There is an orange flash on the ground that is definitely an explosion.
Secondary blast in tunnel complex? There’s not enough info to speculate too much.
Most of the bombs in the 40ies missed. The Kalibrs and Kinzhals don’t miss.
Even dumb bombs with the modern Glonass-enabled sights don’t miss.
Well, if you have 500 kilos of High Explosive explode near you, I doubt that you’d use the words ‘only 500 kg’ to describe it.
IIRC, the 1000 lb bombs in WW2 were called ‘blockbusters’. So, this is a highly accurate ‘blockbuster’ which is very hard to intercept.
Can anyone confirm this?
https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/breaking-news-numerous-russian-air-force-planes-shuttling-people-out-of-moscow-to-ural-mountains
“At least eight (8) and possibly up to twelve (12) Russian military jets, the kind used to move VIP’s, and others of a type that move supplies, are shuttling out of Moscow to the Ural Mountains . . . which is where Russia’s nuclear Bunkers are located.”
Is this true, cherry-picked, or what?
It’s Hal Turner just trying to feed his gullible audience some more “facts”. So there is no need to confirm anything, he’s just trying to rake in a few extra advertising dollars.
It has to do with the momemtum, p=mv
Mass multiplied with velocity
@Nightvision
“Kinzhal has the best of the both worlds.”
Oops, I did it again! That would be Zircon , not Kinzhal.
With that said I also found these graphics of a hypersonic flight pattern https://www.nap.edu/openbook/0309061423/xhtml/images/p2000328eg6001.jpg
Hi Nightvision,
You are obviously highly intelligent, and well versed in physics.
I have no idea. I’m not even sure of the users typing this BS are just trolling or failed basic physics.
kinetic energy of moving body:
E=1/2 mv²
Square of velocity is what import: increased speed brings much more punch than mass upto the point that hypersonics could sink a carrier even if they had no war head.
So no major gains/events today?
A detailed explanation : https://www.moonofalabama.org/2021/08/hypersonic-missiles-are-they-a-gamechanger-by-gordog.html
I am looking out my window at the horizon and it is 2 miles in one direction to the hills but it is 36miles across the plains to the mountains on the other side. Therefore I would get 1 second warning if the missile came from the east but 14 seconds if it came from the North. Still not much time to do anything
Excellent description.
Now then, let the lady ask same question about France, or the US…
I’d say it’d much better if the germans themselves cleaned up Germany.
Russia is trying to solve her own problems. No need to burden herself with other countries’ problems.
At the very least, they should hang a big sign above the Gas Pumps that reads ….
Gas Available for Sale
No Credit. Payment required before delivery.
Payment accepted in Rubles, Yuan or Gold only.
But that would require common sense. The Russians could cripple nato without firing a shot by cutting off the gas but they won’t do it.
Antoinetta III
Good point, save these farmlands . Fits in the State’s philosophy too.
Monsanto is in Ukraine in a very big way and has been since just after the coup.
https://www.globalresearch.ca/ukraine-agreed-to-a-monsanto-land-grab-to-get-a-17-billion-loan-from-the-international-monetary-fund-imf/5424058
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2015/04/15/russia-says-western-investment-in-ukraines-farms-is-a-plot-to-take-over-the-world/
I read that the center of the country was the main growing area, and that the military had orders not to destroy it so that planting couldn’t occur.
Hey Zelensky, “Say hello to my little friend, Kinzhal.”
Does anyone still think that Russia’s military operation is going to get dragged out?
The big NATO meeting on Thursday is interesting. What are they cooking up?
Hey, little greengrocer.
I don’t remember asking you anything.
This is not a place for personal skirmishes.
An interesting take on Telegram:
Divide et impera, again? There are many “traps” posted on Telegram to weaken the moral…
You’re going to want to see this just played live feed from Gonzalo, he’s really telling it like it is (as usual) about the Kinzal and 200 Ukrainian officers KIA in a separate strike yesterday:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJn1P6WKCgw&list=TLPQMTkwMzIwMjKBp7gYABsa9w&index=5
That was excellent, thank you.
@FreedomZ,
Your statement: “Btw: he didn’t say NATO was going to use Nuclear weapons, but the reaction from Rob Lee suggesting they should, from a PhD intellect with only text-book mentality who is out of touch with reality which comprises most of the western think tanks.”
@simon crow…

LOL and then come to Amerika and save us on Main Street;-)
Yep, and then sail and fly across the Pacific, clean the Davos scum out of NZ on the way to Australia and dismantle Pine Gap, send a few kalibers in to the US marines barracks in Darwin, and assassinate every Zionist controlled traitor in govt., media and bureaucracy.

While we track the global information warfare, for that what is going on, informational warfare,
As with The Great War (so-called WWI) and the Great Patriotic War (so-called WWII), it’s fucking weird!
I hope this guy’s “gut feeling” is wrong, but if it isn’t, the world is head for the unthinkable.
He is saying that the Americans could resort to a nuclear first-strike (i.e. a nuclear sneak attack).
On the Edge of a Nuclear Abyss
https://www.greanvillepost.com/2022/03/18/on-the-edge-of-a-nuclear-abyss/
Please don’t lump all ‘Americans’ into Club Brandon, OK? The vast majority want nothing to do with this thought.
@Harold Smith,
Would have to disagree with your disagreement.

Here is a good example:

Question:
Best wishes all.

However, as noted in the Ministry of Defense of our country, the Kyiv nationalist regime, by its provocation against American diplomats, plans to frame Moscow and present the attack as an allegedly targeted attack by the Russian Armed Forces.

imagine the level of dumbing down of your population that has to be achieved via decades of incessant propaganda and a collapse in the education system, for a population to believe such cartoonishly infantile stuff?
Worse Nightvision, that the Home Secretary, conservative MPs and our ridiculous Prime Minister believes it!
You should get the articles by Jacques Baud, a Francophone Swiss national, who has explained the current crisis in a precise manner: The first article is in French: https://cf2r.org/documentation/la-situation-militaire-en-ukraine/ and the second an interview with a Swiss German newspaper: https://zeitgeschehen-im-fokus.ch/de/newspaper-ausgabe/nr-4-vom-15-maerz-2022.html.
Thanks so much. The Canadian minister of Foreign Affairs might read that summary if she can and report to her PM!

The US is going to set off a nuke in Ukraine and blame Putin.
They already are spreading the propaganda:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zfss9wJzTJU
The goal will be to break away China, India and the other southern nations from Russia.
It probably wont work, but if Putin doesnt nuke DC in response Russia will lose.
Not going to happen.
Pentagon Chief Met by Anti-NATO Rally in Bulgaria, With Activists Protesting Military Aid to Ukraine
https://sputniknews.com/20220319/pentagon-chief-met-by-anti-nato-rally-in-bulgaria-with-activists-protesting-military-aid-for-1094018542.html
Excellent.
Total GREEN SCREEN. As someone posted in the YouTube comments, looks like he’s doing the weather:

Oh dear heavens cynthia :-)
There is no slow down here. The Saker only explained when such an action may be necessary from a personal perspective. Nobody wants to contemplate something like ‘Japanese Interment Camps’!
This site is busy!
Blessings for expressing gratitude.
Some good news from the front, the DPR army today liberated the small Donbass city of Ugledar:

DONETSK, March 19. /TASS/. Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic have liberated 98 settlements, including the city of Ugledar, since February 24, the DPR territorial defense headquarters said on Saturday.
“As of March 19, 2022, the DPR troops have liberated 98 settlements, including Ugledar,” it wrote on its Telegram channel.
The DPR People’s Militia said earlier on Saturday that it has begun an operation to liberate the city of Maryinka west of Donetsk, where Ukrainian troops shelled Donetsk from.

I’m not sure if this link has been posted before, but in case it was not then it is worth a listen, imo.
“Podcast Episode #100 — Alistair Crooke and Russia’s Real War for Independence”
https://tomluongo.me/2022/03/15/podcast-episode-100-alistair-crooke-russia-war-independence/
Anyone know where to get accurate numbers for Russian and Ukrainian losses?
Is NATO showing its hand again that they will pit Slav against Slav (Polish against Russian)?
https://www.fpri.org/article/2022/01/at-the-double-polands-military-expansion/
Russia might need to implement its next phase of the special operation sooner than Poland/Nato has plans to fully train its soldiers.
How about a joke…………………
Did you hear the one about the Ukrainian vodka factory that went broke ?
They employed too many taste testers.
And probably had Zelensky’s people as management.
Just an FYI, although old news, but there was some doubts about the news regarding the death of the Canadian Sniper. The news is true, the moment it was announced, the dude is truly dead.

PCR is furious how poorly Putin has done his job trusting too much on west as” partner”.

Peaceful demise = Bullion will remain stable
New Financial Centre will be Shanghai
New Reserve Currency (SDR) is already in place includes Bonds, Loans and Fiat.
The USA needs a new leader, yet not one in sight; a leader with courage, integrity, honesty, honour and the gift of insight; all known as ‘Providence’.
Good luck to you all.

See the pic, bare handed:
https://s1.qwant.com/thumbr/474×307/2/5/940579c1aa27175b1064fbb0e7b0f4a45b42eb1ff54500cbaa884382e395df/th.jpg?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP.Smp7M11JXBkRxrMmOUiL5AHaEz%26pid%3DApi&q=0&b=1&p=0&a=0
The rationale for my “advice” was that Russia had the moral high ground to intervene to:
(1) – Save the constitutional and democratic government in Kiev and restore order;
(2) – Protect the Russian people;
(3) – Prevent the emergence of an enemy state on its border;

That’s simple. They’re in it up to their necks.
Anyone want to buy an undersea gas pipeline? Once careful owner, never used, brand new.
I want to show people what poor memory the AngloZionists have, particularly the BBC, in their reporting of the far right extremists in Ukraine in 2014/5.

Hypocrisy and a poor attempt at rewriting recent history anyone?
Good catch!
Thank you.

The Russian army delivered a successful strike on the 19th
missile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Ukrainian sources confirm the liquidation of Alexandra Burgart and 8 other servicemen of this unit.
Recall that on March 14, the 19th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile attack on the center of Donetsk, as a result of which more than 20 civilians were killed.

The israeli’s proxies ban Russian athletes over bogus doping nonsense and pure bigotry, but allow trannies to compete. I realize sport attracts the stupidest of the stupid, but how can the idiots accept this nonsense?

Power corrupts…

Thanks lone wolf. It makes things clearer.
