I can see that, and wonder if our leadership is insane enough to believe they can beet Russia in a land war, or will they sue for peace and come together to form a bipolar world order of some sort. My thoughts are leaning towards the western nations are insanely following the USA leadership into a world war 3 that could go nuclear. A total waste of human life and destruction of many nations.

The US behaviour is best understood as that of a drug addict. The crack cocaine is war profiteering. Like an addict it needs higher and higher doses. It is about to OD over Ukraine. Russia has to actually do very little except draw it out and keep it going.
Perhaps the wasted American tax dollars will in the end buy some good – free the people by collapse of the corrupt system. Unfortunately there will be much misery along the way. The wheat with the chaff.

To be fair, the first Russian killed was self defense, after he fired on Ukro soldier, no war crime. The rest, though, certainly are war crimes.
Better to go down all guns blazing in many cases than be captured by those Nazis,he should have come out with a couple of grenades.
