Times have changed. Now the Russian military is using slick Hollywood-like tricks to promote itself. This video is a good example of this rather new skillset which was basically absent during the Soviet era (when only a few movies were made to promote the Russian Airborne Forces).
And just for the record: a few of you might see the posting of such videos as a “glorification of war or violence”. I assure you that this is not my intention and I ask you to consider this: ask yourself a simple question – since 1991 what have the Russian Airborne Forces stood for, when where they engaged, and when they arrived somewhere, what is in defense of what is right and good or wrong and evil?
It is my personal and strong belief that these guys are most definitely the “good guys” whose role in liberating Russia from the AngloZionst Empire cannot overstated. Furthermore, every time they were engaged outside Russia it was to at least try to protect and rescue somebody from oppression of that Empire.
My other reason for sharing this video is simply to get you a feel of the kind of mood the recent events are fostering inside Russia.
The Saker
PS: “Nobody but us” is the motto of the Russian Airborne Forces.
They are going into the fight for all of us. “Nobody but us” stands for more than Airborne. It’s the geopolitical mantra Putin enacts. Only the Russians lead the way against ISIS and for a globe of new power arrangements.
Well said Red.
Indeed, they are fighting for all of us.
You can feel their inner strength and core values of protecting their children, their women, their homeland and the wider world family.
Da.
With the latest chess move Putin saved Syria for the second time.
What more, if the Russian soldiers settle the mess over there, then the Europe is saved too, if they will at least have the guts to send the “refugees” back home. Of course the numbers of EU population pyramide cannot be changed by a miracle, demography is not to cheat (as already Qaddafi has propheted).
Lazy and spoiled (West)Europeans screwed their future a long time ago, muslims will make them pay for it. And Merkel caused to Germans more damage than Adolf, she just commited national suicide and drowned whole Europe.
The only reason the powers that be winge about demographics is because they are stuck in an economic paradigm that requires constant “Growth” and expansion. Until we see a way through this, then there will be the nashing of teeth over population decline.
It is probably better in the long term for stability and ecology if there is a reduction and a move to sustainable economic systems based on localised production. Population will balance out and the having of children for the benefit of the joy and love of family rather than units to put into an economic calculus.
Salam,
The Empire is making Russia and China strong for the survival of The Empire. As Larchmonter445 said the following:
Therefore, there is no longer Anglo-Zionist. It is Anglo and it is Zionist.
Yes, Netanyahu is now isolated. The ISIS is a myth and under this myth The Empire is now allowing Russia to make Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt to be very, very strong just like before the Camp David kaka (sh*t). Just like before the Camp David accord, these Arab Countries will be given by Russia the best of Military Equipment to beat the mythical ISIS. The days of chaos is over for Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya and so forth.
Neither the US Congress nor Netanyahu can object to beating the ISIS. How could they, as supposedly ISIS is #1 Enemy of USA.
One can see, how easily Obama got the Iran Nuclear Deal passed by the Congress, this should be a dire lesson for both Netanyahu and AIPAC.
Soon, the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) will become from G6 to G7, to include Iran. And, then it will become G8 to include Yemen. InshaAllah.
You have to be in Middle East and Especially in GCC, in Oman to know the Pulse.
Best regards,
Mohamed
Its a good thing that Russia is getting prepared for all possibilities.I still believe that the US and NATO won’t go to actual war against Russia, they aren’t suicidal enough. But what they will do if prepare for a war and fight a proxy war. While “pushing the envelope” ,sniffing around for fear and weakness in Russia. That is what they look for in their enemies (and make no mistake, they are enemies of Russia) to decide which way to proceed. With weakness, they will push forward. If Russia is strong they will back off.Bullies only really have one “MO” so its easy to understand the US and NATO bullies.Russia also needs to update (they may have) their “just in case” war plans against the US.As we see the US is doing that against Russia. The first bit of preparation for Russia should be to secure her borders. In other words a Russophobic , fascist, pro-Western junta, should be totally unacceptable in Ukraine and should be dealt with :
http://www.rt.com/usa/315970-pentagon-plan-deter-russia/
I am hoping that the Russians feign weakness so that the bully shows his chin.
CIA sent a delegation to Moscow to coordinate what the US will do with the Russians leading the fight against ISIS in Syria.

For all the Putin haters, you might want to analyze who is the greatest leader of the free world.
The Russian military and Russian weapons will lead the way. And I do mean the real free world where states are sovereign and independent.
By simple reasoning, for it is not complex, you doubters and haters and genius arm chair generals of the blogosphere and troll factories, you need to comprehend that the Ukraine situation will evolve exactly as needed. The war will freeze, the junta will be taken down, Ukraine will supplicate, Russia will forgive, EU will pout, NATO will withdraw and Putin will have Ukraine.
The timetable is not predictable. But the result is inevitable.
Russia would not be in Syria if Ukraine was in doubt.
The CIA would not be in Moscow on bended knee (they worked for Obama directly, don’t forget. That is their mission. They are the President’s men.) if not for understanding the leverage Putin has arranged already in the Middle East.
He has the victory. The US is pinned to the mat. The dojo master, ah yes!

“And I do mean the real free world where states are sovereign and independent.”
On what basis do you continue to believe sovereign & independent states equate to a free world?
It is “freeness” of the individuals of these states that should be of concern. While Russia continues to be organised on a Capitalist basis it’s people will never be free.
Subjugation of the people by the elite means the people of Russia are enslaved…little different to most people on earth.
Free of the Hegemon is freedom.
China is the lone capitalist nation free of FED integration.
Russia and China are building their own financial, banking, credit and currency systems. More freedom.
You want a world with no capitalism.
I give you the next millennium and you still won’t have it.
Capital is human activity. Humans create value. They barter and trade their creations.
If you want a world to live in with only your ideology, it will be a small, tiny, minuscule enclave with you in charge and everyone who joins you starving. It’s been done. It doesn’t work.
Elites are a problem. When their wealth converges with political power, evil really brews.
Right now there are two systems reforming their way to something more human.
China and Russia.
The world is looking at hopeful solutions and new relationships. It has not time to argue this pointless crap that some pure socialist, egalitarian, wealth balancing nirvana is what we need.
It has been tried all over the globe. Where has it worked? What remains of those experiments?
It was tried but was torpedoed from within and from outside by corruption, high treason, and continuous destabilization attempts by coups, sanctions and even direct military interventions.
Communism, in its final phase, has never been experienced anywhere or anytime on the face of the Earth, except perhaps in some small community of which, surely, we have no news.
I always wonder why it was fought and is fought so much, and precisely by those who right now are still making our life impossible……

Why can’t people have a country where all can eat and have a modest but good life, without the government controlling everything ? Government / big finance just keep switching places and nobody gets a modest good life….let small organizations and associations of people…..or in other words, culture….educated people…. have equal rule to big gov / big bus and even more rule, in some respects, and the world will get on with free development. As soon as things become bureaucratic things stall. And as soon as money rules, there’s no heart left for those who can’t work.
Salam Sister Ann,
I believe you are thinking about Libya. For this reason Libya was a threat to The Empire. Ask Libyans and Africans for those good days past gone! Now Libya is Chaos.
Dear Sister elsi mentioned one of my sweetest sister Nora. The good old days, where are you Nora. Nora was a sweet heart and she took upon herself to go after each and every troll. Like me, Nora believed that Larchmonter445 was a troll too. Oh boy, Nora and I were both wrong. I believe one of the job of Saker and his MOD is to be troll slayer, we being novices we should leave it to them.
I was wrong about Larchmonter445, and believe me that was not the first time I was wrong, and this will not be the last time that I will be wrong. I am 63 years old, and I am still a student.
Peace my sister,
Mohamed
thanks Mohamed, I had no idea you were 63, I thought you were in your 20’s or 30’s. That’s nice to admit that you thought Larchmonter was a troll..that’s so funny…you’re a peacemaker for sure…I’m still watching videos of Selma…what a girl….what language is she singing ? Is that Albanian ?
Yes, please, let’s have faith in the trained Moderators to police this blog, per Saker’s criteria. They do a very nice job. If all else fails, there’s the scroll button.
I think you know the answer, which is why you switched from “government” to “big government.” Much, in fact most, of what we want involves “splitting the cheque,” i.e., government.
Most centralization of government has come about when the peasants petitioned the king for protection from the depredations of the barons.
I think it’s a fairly small percentage of us who can’t seem to grasp the concept of “enough,” but somehow we have not figured out how to protect ourselves from them.
Hi Cassandra ! Good to see you here…I think you knew Kat Kan from other blogs didn’t you ?
Have you heard any news of her ?
And yes, sadly, to your comment….I think this earth will never be a paradise but always a school. And those of us who learn faster, like about ‘enough’ then have to sacrifice to teach the others….
But in higher worlds there will be rewards of higher knowledge and higher love and higher goodness.
And the ‘bad guys’ here, will there (after death)come to understand their mistakes. Unless they have made a bargain with the lower realms and then become servants of those regions.
And so there will be war again and again…but nowadays, its very clear who is in the right and who is in the wrong…from a higher vantage point. Perhaps this is progress ?
Ann, I envy you your cheerfulness, but there’s a catch. You have to believe it’s true.
I think we’re on our own here; all we have is each other.
And some days that brings me to: The “big brain” is a failed experiment in evolution which is rapidly headed towards its natural correction.
yes, reminds me of Mars (very warlike) being ‘a failed planet’…
That’s me, Cassandra. My name box isn’t holding.
Salam Sister elsi,
Walden Two by B. F. Skinner, a must read!

If your definition of Hegemon is a state powerful enough to influence events throughout the world then a Russian/China combo attempting to create a Hegemon in competitition to that which already exists will not free you from Hegemon.
If your idea of freedom is purely that of a world existing on the edge of MAD (competition between the dictatorship of the oligarchs) then that is not new – neither is it helpful.
So, in what way are Russia and China “two systems reforming their way to something more human”?

@ Larchmonter445
Isn’t capitalism fueling the gluttonous, bottomless pit of our war industry?
Have you never tried to imagine what the Soviet Union might have become with no counter-revolution, WWII or Cold War?
“Human beings” alone create very little. Wealth is created by groups. Barter is done between groups.
The crunch comes in the structures that manage the formation and conduct of the groups and organizes the bartering. This relative unimportant function can be leveraged into power.
In my communist youth I learned that communism is capitalism of state. Socialism, a transitional condition toward the Marxist ideal, has been through so many ideological mutations that it is no longer recognizable as a rigorously defined system, but more of a kitschy Bernie Sanders or Scandinavian liberalism with little potential as an answer for the whole species. Looking at the evolution of modes and means of production as we learned under the old Nikitin political economy, it seems reasonable that capitalism of state could emerge as a sublimation of “regular” capitalism (i.e. not necessarily as a result of Leninist voluntarism or a mechanical result of class struggle) but there is widespread confusion about that, too, even since Marx, who made no categorical distinction between industrial or productive capitalism, regardless of property relations, and speculative or financial capitalism, a malignant superstructure cathexized to the dark side of human nature that can only lead to self-destruction, as all parasites do, after weakening its host, the real economy. I’ve struggled with these issues for half a century, but only now find a social and intellectual milieu where answers might be found.
Oh, is that you again? The hasbara troll peddling the lie that “wealth disparity in Russia is worse than ever” ? Believe me: Russia and her people will succeed without the help of The Guardian and the Western Left practicing its doctrine of Full Spectrum Impotence.

Have you seen the cover of Time magazine’s global covers, http://angryarab.blogspot.com/2015/09/how-come-us-edition-is-different-i.html
I agree with your take on the overall situation, which begs the question: Where will the Outlaw Empire next strike? I see it ferrying as many Daesh to Afghanistan as it can with instructions to infiltrate Central Asia and then Russia and China. I also see that action as the last card it has to play.
He has the victory. The US is pinned to the mat. The dojo master, ah yes! :)
I have a mental picture of chess. Putin has just called check and no matter what move the US makes, they will lose their best piece – ISIS.
L’monter, if you didnt see this, you may want to watch this Gen.Breedlove interview of July 29 — this, not so long after he was on TV saying, “It’s time to start killing Russians….” It’s sort of weird — in light of the recent movement (like a ballet) of the polite green men. The orchestra in my head is playing Tchaikovsky.
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/nato-commander-russias-use-force-europe-major-threat/
Oh, oh, oh… go ahead and watch through to the end, and then is cued up the PBS weekend news of yesterday (9/19) talking about “deconflicting” current situation. Nothing about CIA being involved. And more stuff about all those millions of Syrian refugees. Notice that training Syrians to fight ISIS is just so hard because most of them also want to fight Syrian forces, but U.S. won’t let them. Guess that’s when they leave for Germany? (shoulder shrug) People speaking U.S. propaganda do not talk sense and that’s OK with them — somewhat perplexing for PBS interviewers on occassion. : )
@ GrandmaR,
Q; “deconflicting”
R; Isn’t that on par with turning an omelet into an egg?
Not quite the omelet to egg but still a relevant parody of Nobel:

Gen Breedlove:”we have for 20 years tried to make Russia a partner”. Translation:
“we have for 20 years tried to control, dominate, subdue and break up Russia”
@ SanctuaryOne,
Q; Gen Breedlove:”we have for 20 years tried to make Russia a partner”.
R; Perhaps this is the ‘Breedlove Does Smear Marmite’ on sticks angle of partnerships?
Breedlove’s claim is in fact quite interesting. Was Russia invited to join NATO? After all, with the bumbling alcoholic Yeltsin masquerading as Russia’s “leader”, that might had been a real possibility — unless, of course, there was a substantial shortage of traitors within the Armed Forces.
Regarding Russia of the past fifteen years, however, Breedlove is just the usual kind of Western lying trashbag.
Hopefully, they will prove very effective against the 5th column inside Russia as well.
Yes, very true, Russians are traditionally not in the habit of glorifying war. Especially not in their filmmaking. This scene from Waterloo, a film made by a Russian director, really exemplifies their attitude toward war: madness. Absolute madness. Listen to the highly ironic music in this scene: it is a distortion of carousel ride music; a mad mad mad carousel ride into hell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyaK9Wef8Lc
The Red Army Cavalry had some beautiful horses, didn’t they? This was a pretty dangerous scene to film. You would need a lot of trust between horse and rider to do a stunt like this. They say that Poles are the greatest horsemen in Europe, but damn if Russians don’t know how to ride like the devil!
The Soviets and Russians do not as a rule glorify war – in fact they show it in it’s actual horror. What they do glorify is sacrifice – “Non sibi sed patriae” and its counterpart “Sic vis pacem, para bellum”.
(“Not self, but country” and “If you want peace, prepare for war.”)
I was just searching for a picture of the Polish cavalry charging tanks and came across a picture of the Polish cavalry in a charge like the one pictured.
The Polish horses have their noses down and their mouths closed. The Polish riders are best. They are not hauling on the reins to stay on, wrenching their horses off balance.
You can actually break a horse’s back hauling its head high while galloping over rough ground. Winston, the lovely chestnut Elizabeth II used to ride in parades on state occasions, broke its back that way. They used to take it on wild gallops in the morning so it would be tired and tractable, “bomb-proof,” in the parades, reviews of troops or whatever.
I see Wiki and others are covering the “Polish officers charging Panzers” story as a hoax. That seems ill-considered. It was a big war; how can you speak for all cavalry every day? I have seen a completely genuine picture of Polish cavalry charging tanks, on the mantelpiece of one of the Polish officers. He is furious that people describe that action as suicidal folly. In his case, the cavalry was encircled in a forest and charged to break through the encirclement. “Obviously,” he said, spreading his hands theatrically, “it was an entirely successful strategy.”
He was my riding coach, and when his career developed to a much higher level, he became coach of an Olympic equestrian team.
One of my very favorite pictures is the Polish Rider by Rembrandt….and I have a picture on my wall of a beautiful winter scene with a horse and rider…and a castle in the distance…from a book called Winter Tales of Poland….I don’t have the book anymore, but still the wonderful small painting….print of a painting….with the moon shining over it all.
Thank you for your fascinating comment about the Polish Cavalry and the sad story about the Queen’s horse. What is your educated opinion about Australian Light Horse from WW I? How accurate is that charge depicted in that very interesting movie, “The Lighthorsemen”?
well, English are known for their breeding of horses..not for their riding of horses…foolish short stirrups. Portuguese ride the best…thanks to the big business of bull fighting…very sad for bulls…but the bulls they breed are magnificent and the horses are the best in the world…cousins of spanish Andalusians…Portuguese are called Lusitanos. and the riding is from French who are the best … but Portuguese have perfected old French styles….
But sadly now all countries think Olympic dressage is the ultimate…in my opinion Olympic dressage is grotesqueness personified….total exploitation of animals that are very well bred…sad sad sad…all over the world sad about animals plight…factory farming for our little chickens and cows…sad sad sad..
Thanks, Ann! Love your horse sense! Feel free to share more when you feel like it…

The timetable is not predictable because Ukraine is lost for the foreseeable future. Once the foreseeable future has lapsed, this may change, but it may take a very long time. Again, I hope you are right. But what I hope and what I think are very different things.
Russian Airborne Forces video: One has to admire something well done and this was. The imagery was good and the play with time, well, factual—how many years, how many generations through time have the Russians had to defend themselves? And the boy and the older soldier, and his comrades and his wife and son. They are not doing this to “see the world” or to earn a college education although both are worthy enough motivations. The visual of the white parachutes from the plane was striking—like seeds being drifted to earth. It was almost organic. it would be nice to have a translation of the words.
What is beauty and what is excellence and to what purpose? Starbucks spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on a very striking ad on the back page of The New Yorker magazine to advertise its renewed and overpriced Pumpkin Spice Latte fall drink. ( By the way, the owner of the chain is a big, big donor to the State of Israel). Then when you enter the shop to buy it, the cup is
really excellent commerical art evoking themes of Fall and memories thereof. But to what purpose?
I fully understand the concept of armed forces, but somehow, we’re all together on this raft called Earth, no matter how much we might disagree with one another, thus we should also include those who either fight or opt for peace.

I was expecting this to be like US forces propaganda, with way too much machismo and barely disguised displays of the willingness to use violence and force.
Instead I see run of the mill training exercises and people being brotherly.
Compared to, say, the recent US navy commercial blitz from a few months ago that basically claimed that the US Navy controlled the worlds oceans (which it does), this is actually an incredibly peaceful propaganda video. Way more peaceful than anything the Nazis, the Americans or the Israelis put out.

I feel it is more than just geo-political reasons that what is happening in the world and Russia’s role in it is so important.
Syria is the seat of world civilization and ancient knowledge for all of humanity. To see these anti-human groups like ISIS and all those who back them, actually destroying these iconic sites with such disregard for human history, is an affront to every human on the planet. Syria is also the heart of the ancient Mystery Schools and the Wisdom of the Sophia(the Mother of us all). This fight is a spiritual one, make no mistake. And to have a country, whether it be of Orthodox Christianity or not, where they collectively refer to they’re home as the “Motherland,” cannot be set aside.
In truth, having no love for the Abrahamic religions myself, I have a greater regard of the Orthodox view of Christ than any other. I wouldn’t want to get into a philosophical debate here, But, I do see a greater spiritual battle being waged in Syria. And the emergence of Iran, the birthplace of the Magi, can’t be overlooked. It is why it is at the heart of the Zionist hatred. It can be found in they’re hatred of everything feminine and especially of birthplace of all thought that is of the Great Mother and the wider mysteries.
These two countries are the great centers of the knowledge of the Goddess and the mysteries of earth-centered beliefs, more commonly known as Pagan. I am grateful to Russia for trying to restore reason and honor to the proceedings.
Add to that The Goddess ISIS.
The birthplace of the Aryas, & the only surviving nation not under Abrahamic domination,
Is not
Rus (Sakas)
Tajiks
Persians
Or Syrians
Strange how you don’t mention Bharat Varsh.
I speak of a time before the current era. When the mysteries flourished and the great schools of learning were found throughout the pre-Hellenistic world. I know the make-up of these places and the predominant religions now. However, the Mother is not mocked and the remnants of that time still is reflected there, though hidden, even within the collective racial memories of the inhabitants. Spirit isn’t subject to the same rate of decay over time that mind is. And the religions that flourish there do not nourish the spirit as She does, because the source of those teachings are alien to the spirit of man and the gnosis, therefore they resort to violence and debasement in order to maintain a tenuous hold on power.
Well, Saker, no video of the Russian Army or its parades can be a glorification of war since throughout its history its actions have always been defensive and in order to protect the Russian nation and its people.
If they now make an extra effort on advertising, in order to strengthen, more if possible, the unity of the people with their army or in order to increase recruitment, it is because Russia is quite some time in the spotlight of the bullies of always.
And I say to strengthen more if possible, because there is something enviable that both, the current Russian Army and the glorious Red Army, have/had and is the connection with the people and the confidence the people place/placed in them, being a source of admiration and pride for all Russians.
It must be very comforting to know that you can count on the army if necessary. I do not know this feeling.
In other places, like my own country or suffered Latin America the army was always on the side of the oligarchs and dictators to practice repression and even carry out the removal of dissident sectors of society. Only in Venezuela this has changed lately, and hence the greatness of Hugo Chavez as leader and guide not only to the Venezuelan people but also for the army, which is also people.
When I see so many Russians moved watching the parade on Victory Day and the love they have for their veterans, I can only envy them.
Maybe it’s because out of all the nations of the Earth, the Russian or Soviet “common” people built their own country after their revolution without any help from outside, with the outside world against them in fact, and then defended it with their own efforts. They created their own “elite” from their own people, and paid for it with their blood. It strikes me more and more that Russia is unique in this respect, I can think of no similar historical experience.
Regarding militaries, there is an article at RT about a British serving general basically threatening a military “coup” if the British people vote for Corbyn in the 2020 elections. He said the army might take “direct action” if Corbyn tried to cut the military and withdraw from NATO.And a British senior intelligence chief said the intelligence services would also commit treason and dare to withhold intelligence information from his government if in power. So we are heading to an interesting time in Britain. In which the British people may need to rise and show they won’t let themselves be controlled by dictators in their military and intelligence services. It very well may take a massive purge and imprisonment of military and intelligence officials to prevent a fascist coup in that country .Hopefully Scotland can get out before the military commits treason.
Here are some of the “tweets” about the Sunday Times article with the general:
“Correct me if I’m wrong here, but is a British general threatening a military coup in the Sunday Times?! ”
“If #Cameron is so concerned about national security, he best condemn the serving general who advocates army mutiny if #Corbyn becomes PM”
“The comments from “a serving general” in STimes are now a big test for David Cameron. Whatever one thinks of Corbyn, they are unacceptable.”
“The number of votes that were cast for Jeremy Corbyn for Labour leader were more than twice the total membership of the Tory party.”

“Victor Marchetti, the CIA officer who had helped set up Pine Gap, later told me, “This threat to close Pine Gap caused apoplexy in the White House. Consequences were inevitable… a kind of Chile was set in motion.”
“In 1975, Whitlam learned of a secret list of CIA personnel in Australia held by the Permanent Head of the Australian Defence Department, Sir Arthur Tange – a deeply conservative mandarin with unprecedented territorial power in Canberra. Whitlam demanded to see the list. On it was the name, Richard Stallings who, under cover, had set up Pine Gap as a provocative CIA installation. Whitlam now had the proof he was looking for.
On 10 November, 1975, he was shown a top secret telex message sent by ASIO in Washington. This was later sourced to Theodore Shackley, head of the CIA’s East Asia Division and one of the most notorious figures spawned by the Agency. Shackley had been head of the CIA’s Miami-based operation to assassinate Fidel Castro and Station Chief in Laos and Vietnam. He had recently worked on the “Allende problem”.
Shackley’s message was read to Whitlam. Incredibly, it said that the prime minister of Australia was a security risk in his own country.
The day before, Kerr had visited the headquarters of the Defence Signals Directorate, Australia’s NSA whose ties to Washington were, and reman binding. He was briefed on the “security crisis”. He had then asked for a secure line and spent 20 minutes in hushed conversation.
On 11 November – the day Whitlam was to inform Parliament about the secret CIA presence in Australia – he was summoned by Kerr. Invoking archaic vice-regal “reserve powers”, Kerr sacked the democratically elected prime minister. The problem was solved.”
…..and there I was thinking only the Queen could sack a prime minister. or any other elected official.
The Governor-General symbolically represents the Queen. So his word is symbolically as if coming from the sovereign.
It seems that since WWII the US president has been the Australian monarch. I guess that now makes Obama the Queen of Australia.
Laughter in the Sandbox –
yeah, i know, I mean, it looks like the notorious Ted Shackley and the CIA initiated this dirty business.
I hope Russia does not end up like the U.S.. I think propaganda and the mass media have much to do with America’s social degeneration.
@ Edward,
Q; I think propaganda and the mass media have much to do with America’s social degeneration.
R; Agreed [although every individual remains responsible for his/her own deeds, actions and words].
Now, who owns and runs the mass media, the TV shows, the movies, movie theaters, etc.?
Would it surprise you to find out that the U.S. Air Force owns many of these things? Yup. Movie theaters too. OMG, are they reading this? Hi, Guys! Love your movies! Love your t.v. shows. “I Dream of Jeannie” is my favorite! Yup, the Pentagon and their men who stare at goats made the mistake of messing with Djinn. “I Dream of Jeannie” is their way of laughing at themselves; it’s an inside joke. The Air Force is infested with Djinn. No, seriously, you can read about it in Nick Redfern’s book “The Pyramids and the Pentagon.” Chapter 17. It’s a hoot!

Re “I hope Russia does not end up like the U.S. I think propaganda and the mass media have much to do with America’s social degeneration.”
LOL
Russian culture, food, spirituality, mindset… etc etc etc is nothing like the US and it never will be.
All of us around the world we have to change. It looks like till now, that Russia is leading this change and preparing humanity for big clean up around the world

Sends a less gay, more human message than recruitment efforts from pindo sources. Being Russian, one would expect that, though.
phew, your back…
Yes Saker, after seeing the video and thinking for while about it, I wondered if the fifth column was now getting into the frenzy of war. It is a slick video, although still with Russian nuance …. the little clock, that changes hands…and the young soldier getting shot in the back and looking at the little clock, “Your time is up”…I guess.
Too many rifles in my NSHO, but the rest of the video is pretty great…strong healthy fit men getting into tanks and crawling under barbed wire fences.
I agree with what Saker said with his explanatory context while disagreeing with glorification of war. My questions are what do the other branches of the armed forces feel? And are we aware that betrayal seldom comes from the troops but from the high places of power?
Yeah, he is.
Seems the Gaystapo at Apple HQ won’t let him use that homophobic cyrillic type.
Hasn’t cramped his inimitable style though.
Still instantly recognizable. 0:
I doubt this will be liked by most here but for me “Hollywood” kind of said the essential about this in a movie that parallels with the above video. Except it was not Hollywood but Broadway, I guess:

Don’t know why your are asking me. But I will venture a reply.
Multi-polarity is better than hegemonic, top-down control of the global community because the power-structures generated are much more likely to be bottom -,up. This at least increases the chances of representative power.
It also dilutes the concentration of power. That’s why the hegemon invests so much in Balkanisation, maintaining ultimate control through the money-supply.
That does not guarantee social justice, if that is your point. But it does reduce the power of a global plutocracy to inflict its will on the human race. Just as local government counteracts/limits the power of central government.
Multi-polar unity on issues of justice needs both consensus coming from truthful representation and implementation. Currently, the complete opposite is the case in the UN: most groups shaping policy are manufactured by the plutocracy.
Lastly, I reserve special mention for functional abuse of laws. RP2 is probably the most notorious example.
I define ‘functional abuse’ as the application of laws to contexts they were never devised for. Just like treating a disease with a medicine intended for a very different one, so making the patient sicker. The patient in this case is the community in toto, whether at national or international level.
This drastically reduces the opportunity for sophistry. It also limits lawyers to ‘making a case’ only on prescribed grounds, instead of seeking loopholes leading to functional corruption.
Think of the way the 14th Amendment was used to claim a constitutional basis for re-defining marriage in US. But the marriage institution, unlike civil union functions to legitimize offspring. Interracial couples together can reproduce, same as non ir’l can. (The original strike out existed in fact to prevent such offspring.) But homosexual reproduction, unlike sexual (or asexual cloning among lower life-forms) does not exist. Therefore the application of the amendment to homosexual couples was a prime category error. They actually un-defined marriage, so that now it can mean anything. Which makes it meaningless.
Best of all, a prohibition on functional corruption reduces the number of lawyers in toto!!
Wonderful. I am always reminded of the brave Russians I read about in ‘Russia at War,’ The Siege of Leningrad, and Barbarossa. The lesson to be learned is don’t antagonize the Russians.
