Actually I thought of the Miss Brix character as a typical western educated public relations pinup girl. Comfortable with western, english speaking audiences but still asian.

The reason for Western look and feel is they are reaching out to the Global audience with Media messaging. In Western Communication terms, they are Globalizing, the opposite of Localizing.
