Well if israel does trigger yet another war (you can never have too much war) at least the RF would never join a war against israel & the empire

The strange part about Netanyahu’s “strategy” in Syria is that Syria was no threat to Israel before this “regime change war” began. The Golan Heights had been relatively quiet since the 1973 war. The Assad’s (father and son) weren’t really showing any signs of wanting to attack Israel. They weren’t buddy-buddy with Israel the way MBS and the Saud head-choppers are now, but there weren’t really any hostilities between Syria and Israel despite Israel occupying a portion of Syrian territory.

A wiser person might have just left well enough alone.

Now, Israel faces a re-invigorated Syria. Syria has an army of battle-hardened veterans who’ve been fighting ISIS suicide bombers. Its highly likely that the Israelis will seem pretty easy after facing a bunch of suicidal fanatics. Russia has re-invigorated the old Soviet-Syrian alliance. And Syria now has the sort of friendships with both Hezbollah and Iran that comes from fighting side-by-side against nasty terrorists. In 2006, Israel was able to fight Hezbollah alone with the Syrian front staying quiet. Today, should another war erupt as a part of Netanyahu’s distraction campaign to keep people from focusing on massive corruption, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran would fight together on a front across the Lebanese and Syrian borders. And Russia isn’t really happy with Israel these days either.

The only bit missing from this strategic masterpiece is Netanyahu giving a speech under a big sign that says “Mission Accomplished”.

Destroying Syria was an essential element of the Oded Yinon Plan from 1982, that envisaged Israel destroying all its neighbours by fomenting ethnic and sectarian hatred, principally setting Shia against Sunni. The first victim was Iraq, although the technique has been used for years against Sudan and others. ‘Divide and Conquer’ to ‘redeem Eretz Yisrael ‘..from the Nile to the Euphrates’.

      • Minute by Minute on January 30, 2019  ·  at 9:20 am EST/EDT

It goes back longer than that. The disgraced William Blum pointed out in his book “killing hope”, that they were trying regime change already in the 50´s. In his book from 2004 “children of satan” Lyndon LaRouiche writes, that they had plans to do regime change with the help of the turks and the Jordanians, which they did in 11 instead.
On an other note, divide and conqure seems to be in the anglosaxon blood. Even the mighty Galloway, the socalled convert to Islam used to advocate partition of muslim countries like Sudan and Somalia and even at one point Syria on Presstv! The same person defending the Scot unity with London though!!!

        • Mulga Mumblebrain on January 31, 2019  ·  at 12:58 am EST/EDT

The seizing of Eretz Yisrael, ‘…from the Nile to the Euphrates’ has been Zionazi policy since the year dot. They tried to claim Lebanon up to the Litani in 1948, and attempted to annex it from 1978 on-wards. Various Zionazi chieftains have claimed Damascus, much of Jordan, the Sinai, parts of Iraq, bits of Egypt, and religious fanatics even claim the Arabian Peninsula (such a reward for Saud friendship!) due to an interpretation of some arcane ‘religious’ tract. The nut-cases among Israelis will bring tragedy and destruction to them all (and the rest of the region and, possibly, all humanity) in their hate-crazed ambitions and megalomania.

Indeed I enjoyed watching those arrogant child killers running home to Mum crying,if they try it again it should be the last time they ever do,Syria,Hezbollah and Iran would have to go all out and liberate that place.

Understand that Nasrallah clearly stated “strategic priorities” are the present restraint on a ‘full lethal defense’ and counter-strikes to Israeli bomb and missile attacks.

The calculations are joint decisions of Russia, Iran, Syria and Hezbollah. Quite logically, the weight of what Russia says is large, but it is always strategic, not just political.

These calculations are risky but they led to the the arming of Syrian defenses with upgraded S-300s, richer radars, more EW and integration with Russian defenses at Latakia and Taurus. Russia suffered the loss of the IL-20, so the risks are shared and not suffered by Syria and Iran alone.

What will trigger the counter-strike against Israel?
We don’t know where or what the red line is or will be. We do know that Russia does payback and makes use of errors that prove costly to Russia. Ask Erdogan and Bibi. Putin understands strategy better than anyone. He and the Russian generals have been brilliant in Syria.

As Nasrallah began and explained fully, Israel and Bibi have no strategy. Their strategic goals all failed. All that is left is the tactic of random missile and guided bomb attacks. The Resistance is not going to alter their strategy for these ineffectual tactics.

The big goal of the Resistance is a purified Syria, all terrorists killed or driven out. Then, it looks like Assad will attempt to take the Golan Heights, which are his, as the UN has so decided.

So, patience is part of the strategy. Meanwhile, Israel will blunder again and Putin will ratchet the logistics with more weapons and adjusted tactical response and the strategy will continue. It’s like a python swallowing and crushing its victim. Israel will be devoured by its own tactics.

Wisdom resides in Nasrallah, Assad, Soleimani and Putin.

Of Damascus the good book says… terror will fall upon her and she will be left a smoking ruin by the next morning…as the tribe is fixated with Daniel 8 it is high time folks got up to speed with what is planned.

Damascus will be nuked by those who call themselves jews which are not. The books in same chapter says the entity will lose the northern part of Its held land…so chew on that too.

    • Matija on January 30, 2019  ·  at 3:29 am EST/EDT

You say: “The calculations are joint decisions of Russia, Iran, Syria and Hezbollah.” and my understanding (uneducated and naive as it may be) of things is the same.

But he was pressed hard by the reporter on the role of Russia in the decision to retaliate, and he finally, but clearly said “independent decision”.

Thanks for your many comments, which are always interesting to read.

“Then, it looks like Assad will attempt to take the Golan Heights, which are his, as the UN has so decided….”

Indeed, that will be the general direction but the question is, when? After Syrian reconstruction, or before so that any further damage is only to existing ruins etc? The latter scenario would be tempting for some — nothing much left to lose is a strong position.

The most likely med- to long-term outcome for the disputed Golan Heights will be a UN defacto endorsed Russian ‘Sheriff’ peacekeeping force with some S-400s pointing 360 degrees. But where the eventual border lines are drawn between Syria, Lebanon and the occupying Ashke-nazi forces in Palestine will be hard to predict.

The ‘Israeli Project’ only had about a 120-year life span — i.e. over the halfway mark and approximately 50 years left to run its course … 2 generations into a future world dominated by Indian and Chinese demographic ‘Asian’ values. The self-chosen ones, might have the reins of the current dissolving zio-Christian world, however their exceptionalism narrative does not cut much with the ancient Indo-Chinese civilizations. Good luck with that spin job!

      • Mulga Mumblebrain on January 31, 2019  ·  at 1:15 am EST/EDT

Exactly, worth. The Zionazis are the most belligerent and hate-crazed enemies of China in the current Western effort to ‘bring China down’. The US (In)Justice Department, that is driving the ‘lawfare’ assault against China, with the illegal rendition of the Huawei CFO in the Canadian slave state, and the usual fraudulent ‘charges’ concocted against Huawei, is controlled, at the top level, by Zionazis. This control we also have seen in the vicious legal lynchings of various Palestinians in the USA, on trumped-up charges that relied on unsubstantiated ‘evidence’ from anonymous Israeli intelligence thugs and other ‘lawfare’ tactics, like those being used to attack Free Speech and Freedom of Opinion in the drive to destroy the BDS movement and criminalise all criticism of Israel or support for the Palestinians.
Now Zionazi chieftains, like the odious, blood-sucking, financier gangster, Soros, are joining the hate campaign, with barely disguised racist fury. The tsunami of hatred spewing out of the Western fakestream media sewer sees Zionazis, as ever, massively over-represented in the hate-mongering, which, as these campaigns always do, in a true sign of Zionazi influence, is growing ever more vicious and hysterical.
The Zionazi hatred of China is based on their religious delusions of universal superiority and supremacy, and the fact that China is a civilization that, while quite happy to treat Jews as fellow human beings, will never fall down to its knees and grovel before them, like corrupted invertebrates such as US, UK, French, Canadian or Australian politicians. China’s rise to global economic pre-eminence will render Zionazism’s great triumph in basically taking over and controlling Western politics, MSM and much of the heights of business (particularly finance and the Internet etc)irrelevant, and futile. They will never allow that to occur, if they can help it at all.

The arabs dont consider lebanses as real arabs. They call them iranian arabs. I would love to see Nasrallah as the next leader of the islamic revolution in Iran, that is if we iranians are as clever as we think, we are!

    • Harry_Red on January 30, 2019  ·  at 4:25 pm EST/EDT

“The arabs dont consider lebanses as real arabs. They call them iranian arabs”.

This is nonsense…who told you that ?

Have you never heard of the Arab saying: “books were written in Cairo, printed in Beirut, but read in Baghdad” ?
Beirut and the Lebanese people are well known throughout the Arab world as part of the Arab intellectual centers.

Maybe you are referring to the Wahhabi head chopping Arabs ?

      • Mintue by Minute on January 31, 2019  ·  at 6:16 am EST/EDT

They say alot, as the sayings go, but dont kid yourself, ask the socalled real arabs, they say, as they have told me many times, that they do not consider lebanese as real arabs, they call them iranian arabs. Not that being arab mounts to much, after all it was us the persians, that civilized you long time ago! To be fair romans did it too! It is a historic fact! Maybe that is why you arabs hate us iranians. I am shia first, second and third, I sont care, if I was born on Mars, being iranian is just the bonus.
I am proud to call lebanese iranian arabs!

I doubt he is corrupt enough. Wasn’t Rafsanjani known as Mr. 10%? And I know some very clever Iranians.

  8. Richard Hack on January 30, 2019  ·  at 2:44 pm EST/EDT

This is precisely the plan. Originally the plan was for the US to attack Syria, thus enabling Israel to cross Syrian territory to attack Hizballah in the Bekaa Valley. The arrival of Russia into Syria put paid to that plan – so far.

The new modified plan is for Israel to get the US to help it attack Hizballah in Lebanon and possibly extend the war into Syria on the grounds that Syria and Iranian forces in Syria are supporting Hizballah in Lebanon. After Hizballah is degraded sufficiently, Israel and the US will then attack Iran directly.

This is why the US has been increasing sanctions on Hizballah and why Israel has been complaining about “tunnels under the border”. And it is especially why Israel continues air raids on alleged “Iranian forces” in Syria, complaining that they are supplying Hizballah with missiles.

Israel can’t afford to attack Hizballah itself, as it found out in 2006. And Hizballah is far more powerful now than it was in 2006. If Israel attacked Hizballah itself, it would suffer the same problem as if it attacked Hizballah in an Iran war – Hizballah can rain 6,500 missiles a day down on Israel. This would cause the Israeli population to sit in bomb shelters 24×7 which would devastate the Israeli economy and cause the electorate to vote out the ruling political parties.

So Israel needs the US to help it attack Hizballah. And Trump is easily controlled enough by the neocons around him that they will probably get that help.

  9. Harry_Red on January 30, 2019  ·  at 4:13 pm EST/EDT

Hahahaha…..the best part is when he says in Arabic:

“ruhtu o jeet, ruhtu o jeet, ruhtu o jeet” (while waving his finger) translated to “went and came, went and came” (as in back and forth)….this is when he mentions how Netentyahu went back and forth desperately to Moscow trying to unsuccessfully convince the Russians to force Iran out of Syria.

Hassan Nasrallah excellently uses his native smooth Lebanese Arabic dialect to clearly and simply explain things to the listener, and he does it in a very laid back and entertaining way sometimes.

What can i say, the man is a breath of fresh air :-).

Iran transfers 30 tons of yellow cake to Uranium Conversion Facility in Isfahan

    https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/01/30/587232/Iran-uranium-enrichment-yellow-cake-nuclear-power

This puts the cherry on the top of Rev.Nasr’Alla’s catalogue of diplomatic blunders by the ZioNazi regimes in Jerusalem and Washington (“a failed war is a diplomatic blunder by other means” — von Clausewitz).

Like Larchmonter posted on a previous thread, the Yahoo Prime Minister of Israel has proved himself to be a brilliant graduate from the Wiley Coyote School of Strategy.
