I thought I’d share a post from a US American resident in Russia:
To my brothers and sisters in Russia, in Donbass and in all the places on earth that are ruled and occupied by Nazi puppets controlled by the American regime:
I live in Russia, proudly. I will stand by all of you, defend you and all your lands as if they are my own. I will not run or cower or close my eyes to the atrocities committed against you. I live in Saint Petersburg where the residents have a long memory of the Nazi blockade that brutally killed millions of Russians, simply for being Russian. This genocide can never happen again and anything that is needed to prevent it is worth undertaking. You have my unwavering support and my eternal gratitude for the kindness and hospitality you have shown me in my 6 years in Russia. #IStandWithRussia

What was the balloon carrying? That is the important question and seems to be ignored, especially given that China has admitted in part to being behind the fentanyl crisis in the US and drones sent from Mexico carrying fentanyl have already been found in the US. This is a matter of significance as one pound of fentanyl dropped from a drone can kill a stadium full of 80,000 people.
I have seen only criticism and no answer to the question.
From a government site – Drug trafficking organizations typically distribute fentanyl by the kilogram. One kilogram of fentanyl has the potential to kill 500,000 people.
https://www.dea.gov/resources/facts-about-fentanyl
Knowing the amount of deaths caused by fentanyl, yes with Chinese and US cooperation, no one could be sure what was on the balloon.
There are a plethora of substances and trinkets including bombs that have been carried by drones and balloons.
Everone just assumed that they would be hit by a train load of falling condoms or some such light material.
I will only say potential and that is because of China’s past behavior with Mexican cartels, I don’t know what was on the balloon.
What a pr gift.
U.S. national security officials said Monday that the Chinese surveillance balloon that floated across the United States was potentially carrying explosives and hazardous material, which factored into the decision by the White House to delay shooting it down.
In a telephone briefing with reporters, Air Force Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of the U.S. Northern Command and NORAD, said officials were worried that the balloon — which was up to 200 feet tall, with a payload the size of a jetliner — was potentially carrying explosives to “detonate and destroy” itself, complicating the U.S. response plan.
The balloon was ultimately shot down about 6 miles off the coast of South Carolina on Saturday afternoon.

Ah! The assumptions… A Rumpole I’d propose> Sic transit magna carta or “Rumpole at Sea”
https://youtu.be/VroYNsjl7V0 It’s pretty good, but the relevant portion lies in the first 3 minutes…Mortimer’s lessons from the grave.
The instrument array, some length of perhaps 110 feet and of metal lattice…bigbig radar target. Not a design to conceal…rather a straight design for scientific work. Of course, now it has another function…
The “pay-load” was, became, and remains in the political arena.
I recall the affair of Belinko and his stolen MiG 25…the US gave it back, in pieces. USSR billed the US for unfriendly handling….sorta a mutual FU, but with the respect that comes from fear.
Since then the hubris and conceit of ignorant nazi leaders has so increased that such unfriendly, but dialogue acceptable, relationship is gone poof. Expect the Fine Gentlemen actually are blinded by their disease. Pity. This time, it’s expected, there will be no return of the smashed bits. Note that the smashed bits would have been smaller and more difficult to collect, had the machine been ruined over the land.
China has been around for longlong time…Yankeenazipirates? Dogs bark… Bear scratches fleas. China abides Time in Celestial terms.
Disease? So-called “racism” … Something that cries for philosophical analysis…and an interest of mine. There is, I speculate, a big “tent” of racial things. Some is real, apple drops near tree, people and families conserve genetic qualities, deliberately…this is not necessarily wrong, or bad…it’s the way of History… However such imprinted qualities are readily hijacked for evil “political” purposes by corrupt persons of low character. Actually, I suspect, like sexual “orientation” and choices of wives, imprinting is a foundational matter in prejudice… And I do wonder, are some men genetically disposed to brutality and ardent racial prejudice? If so, it may be that the “whites” tend to carry this character more than others? This is interesting matter. Variation and all of that…

Evidently the spelling was an artifact of trans-late-o-tronics. Properly the material is (IUPAC) “Carbononitridic chloride”. Nasty stuff. See wiki, which is generally not too bad when it’s chemistry stuff. Evidently the nazi fellas are using this stuff in a Policy of chemical war by “drone”. Creation of this molecule required to be reported to OPCW… Well, we know where Saddam got his chemistry sets used on Iran… Smart cop would be taking interviews… The US loaded small rockets with his stuff…but claims they didn’t use it. I’d check with Comrade Kim about that, you know, the thrift of using left-overs from W2 in Korea. Inspiring frugality. The stuff, the molecule, looks to my amateur eye to be unstable, liable to explode like acetylene is. The very fine travelogue (and history lesson) provided by Brother AHH reminds me of Herodotus, but AHH does a better job. Bravo! (https://thesakeris.global/2022/12/18/a-travelogue-of-felix-arabia-late-autumn-2022/) A very deep thank-you! Now I must chase out all the links!
His excellent History reminded me of a small travelogue, written about what’s now lost. This small story was penned by an acquaintance, one of my old professors, known long ago during my too brief time spent studying law.
see> https://archive.ph/DDJsb (Lex magistri iter per flumen ante raptum yugoslavia, so to say, no need, I think, for translation.) Fuitne magister meus communistarum?
As the vastly superior essay by AHH, so, at least, we see also History in the professors’ story, and grasp both Truth and Sadness with the loss of Quality, wrought by a Hegemon lost in the folds of vice. A window into the crimes since 1986.
Interesting, the American adventurer and famous actor, “General Ripper”, Sterling Hayden, ran men and weapons to Yugoslavia, Montenegro I think, mainly. He got in some difficulty after the war though, for being a Communist… In his books and life and films, if you look and pay attention, the combat fatigue shows. Ran from Bari under nazi guns and aircraft… tatukkatatukka fishing boats on moonless and not so moonless nights… It is exceedingly disagreeable when men are trying to kill a fella, and worse, when you can’t avoid it. Hayden had a genuine nervous break-down. No one recovers. But they can mush on…which is best.
So, as we see the lost Histories, we see that America has by degrees been hijacked by vice. She used to have a dual Character. Alas, whatever equilibrium might have been… ita transit visum.
A crew of Montenegrin house painters on a job-site once explained to me the Character of Bushie # 43… Cooking their lunches over an open fire, they proclaimed> “His God is money.” Rather prescient, I thought then. Does this, now obvious in respect to the entire nazi cohort, tell us “He serves the devil”? That was some 24 years ago. Has their view been vindicated? Quiz Friday…film at 11…

Russia is in the better position if Bosphorus is damaged or closes, but am not wishing an earthquake on anyone. You might be able to say that the earthquake has changed one of Russia’s obectives somewhat and that is access to the Black Sea.

Turkey sits on the Anatolian plate, which is formed by the North Anatolian fault and the East Anatolian Fault. Maps in links.
1…New earthquake in Istanbul is only a matter of time
3 hours ago
In the largest Turkish city, almost a thousand kilometers away from the earthquake area in southern Turkey Istanbul there is increasing concern that the next earthquake could occur there. Finally, Monday’s catastrophic quake is said to have upset tectonic tensions across Turkey. Istanbul, on the north-western edge of the Anatolian Plate, is now particularly threatened.
Although the concern that the earthquake risk on Bosphorus is very high, is completely justified, initially it has nothing to do with the recent severe tremor in the Turkish-Syrian border area. Because even before this devastating tremor, Istanbul was one of the major cities in the world most at risk from the upheaval. The city is located exactly on the North Anatolian Fault.
The Anatolian Plate, on which almost the entire Turkey westward of the giant Eurasian Plate at a rate of about two centimeters per year.
In the past 84 years, ten events have occurred along this 1,500-kilometer-long fault earthquake with magnitudes greater than 6.7. All resulted in destruction. The worst of these earthquakes occurred in 1939 in the city of Erzincan in eastern Turkey. At that time 33,000 people died. Since then, the focus of the severe earthquakes have been moving further and further west along this fault line – and are getting closer and closer to Istanbul.
Catastrophic earthquake in 1999 that killed 17,000
The most recent catastrophic earthquake in this series took place in 1999 in the port city of Izmit, just 100 kilometers from the Bosphorus. At that time, at least 17,000 people died as a result of the quake and 120,000 buildings were destroyed.
Experts agree that since then a severe earthquake in the northern Sea of ??Marmara and in Istanbul is overdue. But when this quake will occur, how big it will be and what damage it will cause, experts like Marco Bohnhoff from the Geoforschungszentrum in Potsdam cannot predict. His research group operates a unique seismic observatory on some islands in the Sea of ??Marmara near Istanbul. Its measuring instruments, which are sunk in seven boreholes each 300 meters deep, can record even the smallest ground vibrations.
Using methods of artificial intelligence, the Potsdam researchers have now discovered that the forces in the Sea of ??Marmara, which are low compared to tectonic stresses and are triggered by slight fluctuations in sea level, have an impact on the number of earthquakes in this part of the fault. In the days after particularly low water levels, there were more earthquakes than during normal or high water levels. The Potsdam geophysicist Patricia Martínez-Garzón concludes that this part of the fault is about to burst. Otherwise such small changes in the stress field of the earth would not be noticeable.

2…Turkey Earthquake Map Shows Cause of Devastating Strike
BY ROBYN WHITE ON 2/6/23 AT 6:18 AM EST
https://www.newsweek.com/turkey-earthquake-map-cause-devastating-strike-1779137
The devastating range of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Southeastern Turkey, near the Syrian border, has been captured in a map.
The quake—which has killed hundreds of people so far—was caused by the East Anatolian Fault. On the map, the fault can be seen extending from a junction on the North Anatolian Fault.
The earthquake hit at 4.17 a.m. local time on February 6 and was felt by people living across the wider area, including the capital Ankara. It was also felt in neighboring countries like Syria, Israel and Lebanon.
Map of Anatolian Plate
Map showing main tectonic structures around the Anatolian Plate on a base taken from a snapshot from Nasa’s World Wind software. Arrows show displacement vectors of the Anatolian and Arabian Plates relative to the Eurasian Plate.
Turkey is one of the most seismically active countries in the world as it is located between two major tectonic plates.
Chris Elders, plate tectonics and structural geology expert adjunct professor from the School of Earth and Planetary Life Sciences at Australia’s Curtin University, told Newsweek: “It is an area where there’s a lot of earthquakes. Turkey and that part of eastern Mediterranean sits in a bit of a vice, really, to South Africa, in particular, the Arabian tectonic plates are moving northwards, and they’re colliding with the Eurasian plate to the north. That has the effect of essentially squeezing Turkey out sideways. Two big plates or two big areas of plates move towards one another. [Turkey] in the middle gets squeezed out sideways, and its that sideways movement of Turkey that causes the earthquake.”
Turkey sits on the Anatolian plate, which is formed by the North Anatolian fault and the East Anatolian Fault.
The North Anatolian fault stretches across the north side of Turkey, and traditionally causes the majority of earthquakes in the country. It is 932 miles long, running from a junction with the East Anatolian fault, all the way into the Aegean Sea. It is similar in size to the San Andreas fault—a fault that runs 745 miles through California.
The East Anatolian fault is smaller than the North Anatolian, at 434 miles long.
The main difference between these two fault lines is their location. But they “work together at an angle of about 60 degrees, ” Elders said.
“If you imagine taking a pip from an orange or grapefruit, it between your thumb and your finger and squeezing your finger together, the pip shoots sideways and that’s basically what’s happening,” Elders said. “The thumb and the finger are the other plates moving towards one another and the edges of your fingers are the faults, where pip squeezes out sideways. The movement occurs the movement is accommodated on both, both of those faults. I think traditionally, larger quakes tend to occur on the north.”
Even though most earthquakes happen in the northern region, several other earthquakes have occurred as a result of the East Anatolian Fault, One of the most recent was the 6.7 earthquake in Elâzig on January 24, 2020.
Considering not the substance of Brother Seymour H’s bold discoveries and public article…after all everybody knew. But considering the motivation of leakers. China wants its busted balloon back. US got Gary Powers back after a few years, U-2 no.
U.S. officials claimed that the U-2 had been conducting a routine weather flight but experienced a malfunction of its oxygen delivery system that had caused the pilot to black out and drift over Soviet air space. On May 7, however, Khrushchev revealed that Powers was alive and uninjured, and clearly had not blacked out from oxygen deprivation. Moreover, the Soviets recovered the plane mostly intact, including the aerial camera system. It became instantly apparent that the weather survey story was a cover-up for a spy program.
Check the time element
The US in an authenticated memo is predicted to go to war with China in 2025. For a major war, an event of great size, you don’t deplete your arsenal by donating weapons to Ukraine. 2025 is tomorrow in terms of replenishment regarding so huge an undertaking.
The only explanation is that the rumors are true more advanced first string weapons exist, Ukraine is getting second string. Analysts can’t wait to see how Russia fares toward the heavy stuff which does not carry that much weight if they are in fact second string. One example is Ukrainian Abrams will be neutered due to highly classified armor. First string Abrams are under wrap and I am surprised US kept its mouth shut.
The drift of the balloon very well could have been accidental. But it will be used. If they were spying it wasn’t about second string US missiles.
Most factions want Biden out.
China says it wants its busted balloon back after the US Navy fished the suspected spy craft out of the ocean

China now wants its busted balloon returned to it after the US shot it down.
US Navy divers fished pieces of the massive balloon out of the Atlantic Ocean this weekend.
“The airship does not belong to the US,” a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
China now wants its busted suspected spy balloon returned after the United States military shot down the device over the coast of South Carolina and fished pieces of it out of the Atlantic Ocean.
When a reporter asked on Tuesday whether China has called on the US to give back the debris of the downed balloon, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said, “The airship does not belong to the US. It belongs to China.”
Additionally, a top Chinese diplomat also said that the US should give back the remnants of the balloon because it’s not US property.
“If you pick up something on the street, you should return it to the owner, if you know who the owner is,” China’s ambassador to France, Lu Shaye, said during an interview on Monday with French news channel LCI, according to Bloomberg News.
Shaye added, “If the Americans don’t want to return it, that’s their decision. This demonstrates their dishonesty.”
Prior to the U-2 aircraft the US used high altitude balloon spy machines, mostly over USSR… Actually that was generally known among our circle of friends, and I expect it was an open secret. Also many US balloons went lost…so they were well known to Soviets and Chinese and many others as wreckage..
The Chinese say the balloon belongs to China, well, so does the Great Intellectual and Super Elected Prezz, so they agree. If the US keeps it, they’ll show the world how honest a Regime can be.
But I am reminded of Belenko and the MiG 25. The aircraft belonged to the USSR. The US agreed. They sent the MiG back. Of course the Yankee boffins took it apart first. Went back in crates…

Ukraine war: President Volodymyr Zelensky visits the UK

Shouldn’t the UK be more worried about their pipelines under the English Channel? I read from a certain substack that Norway may have some risk too. If this was a jury trial, I believe evidence crosses the threshold of ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’.
Zelensky’s address in front of the EU parliament was fascinating. Hostage and cult expressions. The MEP’s are beyond reachable, 100% committed. Also of interest, the expression of EU president Roberta Melsola standing next to Zelensky at the photo-op – what happened between them? Wondering if she red Seymour’s article was my first thought. Not everyone in the parliament was happy – realizing they were played by a fool but have no choice but to go on with it. It was a complex mix of disgust, impatience, rage, determination, solidarity.

Indo-Russian venture completes production of AK-203 first batch
by Kapil Kajal
The AK-203 assault rifle is chambered for 7.62×39 rounds and can use ammunition and magazines that exist within the Indian Army supply chain. The weight of the rifle is 3.8 kg, the length is 690 mm with a folded butt and 930 mm with an extended butt, and the rate of fire is 700 rds/min. (Janes/Kapil Kajal)
Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited (IRRPL) – a joint venture between Russia and India to manufacture AK-203 assault rifles for the Indian Armed Forces – has completed the production of the first batch of rifles in Korwa Ordnance Factory in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
Alexander Mikheev, director general of Russian defence export agency Rosoboronexport, which is one of the stakeholders in IRRPL, said that the joint venture has produced the first batch of 7.62 mm Kalashnikov AK-203 assault rifles and the beginning of deliveries to the Indian Army is expected soon.
India’s Chief of the Army Staff General Manoj Pande recently said that the joint venture will produce 5,000 AK-203 rifles by March 2023.
“The plan is to produce a total of 600,000 AK-203 rifles for the Indian Army in 128 months or just over 10 years. However, in the next 32 months, about 70,000 rifles will be produced with an indigenous content up to 70%,” Gen Pande said.
Following this batch of 70,000, every AK-203 rifle will be produced with 100% indigenous content, Gen Pande added.
India’s state-owned firms, Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWEIL) and Munitions India Limited, collectively hold a 50.5% stake in IRRPL, with Kalashnikov owning a 42% share, and Rosoboronexport owning the remaining 7.5%.’

I fear no man or woman, i fear nothing but the judgement of God.
May all of you live to you die of old age, seek God and truth,
