*Those court documents have been publicized in her “State Secrets Gallery” by whistle-blower Sibel Edmonds, who has long been pointing to a US Central Asian strategy that connects the arming and training of radical Islamic groups with the destabilization of regimes seen as too close to Russia and China or too friendly to Iran, and to plans for the construction of oil and gas pipelines in support of western energy interests (“Court Documents shed light on CIA illegal Operations in Central Asia using Islam and Madrassas” at http://luckery-blogspot.com/2008/07/court-documents-shed-light-on-cia.html).
It appears that the USA, despite its official position to the contrary, is in fact supporting the spread of fundamentalist Islam,

Edmonds recalls that ambassador Abramowitz was also an adviser to the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), hinting that all those theaters are linked in Washington ‘s covert and overt campaign to back a Pan-Asian Islamic nebula of organizations capable of hurting decisively the interests of its major Eurasian rivals. In response, on recommendation of the FSB, the Russian Government has banned the Nurcus Brotherhood and its schools and institutes throughout its territory and has briefed all other member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization about the threat of subversion posed by it. One of the most visible manifestations of American policy in Central Asia was the creation of the Republic of East Turkestan on Capitol Hill in Washington DC in September 2004, under the aegis of ex-Deputy Director, CIA, Graham Fuller, who authored the Xinjiang Project for Rand Corporation in 1998,
foreseeing that the Xinjiang Uighur autonomous region of China would break away, presumably under the leadership of the ETIM (East Turkestan Islamic Movement).
Its president Enver Yusuf Turani, who is an American citizen, has become the new Prime Minister of this virtual state and is conducting sporadic guerilla actions and terrorist attacks in Xinjiang and other parts of China. In the weeks leading up to the Beijing Olympics of August 2008, ETIM announced a series of attacks on high-profile Chinese targets and as it turns out, a US supplied and manned arms and munitions depot was located in Kyrgyzstan, not far from the border with Chinese Xinjiang, by Kyrgyz security forces on tips reportedly provided by the Chinese authorities.

ffs, why is murkka still allowed to set up *embassy* aka cia safehouse in any country ???
oops, pse dont click the first link, its kaput !!
Thanks for the informative post, most enlightening it was. Beats me how anybody with a brain in their heads and the ability to think clearly can in any way shape or form still believe for an instant that America and its “allies” are indeed waging a “war on terror”.
How can the chief purveyor of terrorism on the planet claim to be “fighting a war on terror”, this is as laughable as the Saudis claiming to want to invade Syria to “fight ISIS”, they are the biggest terrorists going and have been for a long time. They only in the last decade or so resorted to using their al-Qaeda/ISIS proxies on an unprecedented scale because their own citizens weren’t willing to go die and be maimed to further the cause of the likes of Monsanto and Goldman Sachs and Exxon Mobil etc. They were getting a lot of flak at home (anybody remember Mr Ed bemoaning the lack of will in the populace for foreign interventions ?) and there were too many complications to using their own national armies so tahdah !, enter ISIS which is simply al-Qaeda rebranded.
President Putin has rightly stated that terrorism is the greatest threat facing humanity and civilization at the moment and that the terrorists must be dealt with. But you cannot deal with the terrorists until you deal with the source of the evil which is America. To do that is akin to treating the symptoms of a disease and not the disease itself. From Afghanistan to Libya, from Ukraine to Nigeria to China, their terrorist foot soldiers are murdering people in their tens of thousands while America says it is fighting a “war on terror”. Who is the terrorist ?
The nations of the world apart from the “west” need to form a coalition against America and its vassals if any of them are to survive.

here’s how nato rescue their kla *freedom fighters* from the macedonia police…
*The message was made clear in May, when U.S. diplomat Robert Fenwick, ostensibly the head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, in Macedonia, met secretly in Prizren, Kosovo, with the leaders of the Albanian political parties and KLA representatives. Macedonian officials were not invited. It was clear the United States was backing the Albanian terrorist cause. This was confirmed a month later, when a force of 400 KLA fighters was surrounded in the town of Aracinovo near the capital, Skopje. As Macedonian security forces moved in, they were halted on NATO orders.
U.S. army buses from Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo arrived to remove all the heavily armed terrorists to a safer area of Macedonia. German reporters later revealed that 17 U.S. military advisors were accompanying the KLA terrorists in Aracinovo.*

Good morning. I was waiting for you to open up and came in here early. The two guys at the other table were already here checking their hand phones. I don’t own one of those wireless mass distractors. Rather see the window-mirror world through my wired pixy screen which I’m touching in all the right places now. Kind of like making love with a machine.
The only other site I visit these days is Yahoo for email and those lying headlines; and Dimitri at Club Orlov. He has a real barn burner on the technology machine running now.
Oh, there you are. Here’s your favorite chair. You look a little burned out, my friend. Let your hair down a little too far last time? This bi-weekly meet is the talk of the town. They’re gossiping about you up and down the street. Even the stately Lavrov heard about it from the saintly Maria.
Did you catch Saker’s “state of the community” Russian bear hug? What? Are you kidding? I’ve heard them rumors and you have heard them too. A best western leak no doubt.
Teranam can’t decide if its monotony or monopoly. That hit me too when I first saw it.
Are you getting bored? Hold on, your chai’s coming and I think Uncle Bob is too. What should we talk about? The state of the world or the state of your health? Did you hear Kissinger got a private meeting with Putin?
Ok, don’t get upset with me for upsetting you. I was just trying to get you going.
Ah, thanks for the chai. Can I have one too? Can I take a sip of yours? Why are you so edgy? Look at the bright side. Looks like peace is breaking out in Syria so why not here?
I’m even getting over my chem trail bronchitis virus.
I know you’re into reality and all that. I wrote something down for you from Anonymous yesterday by way of history according to Lavrov. Want to hear it? That tea is making you feel better.
“I speak Russian and read Russian media and forums. I find that Russians predominantly display either contempt or humiliating ‘older brother’ attitudes to most countries and nations that do not belong to AZ.” What’s your take?
Later. OK. Come on. She always has that look. Don’t take it personal. You know she can’t hold a candle to you for looks or charm. And I was just looking anyway.
I saw her the other day at the Farmer and the Cook cafe in Meiner’s Oaks. Looked good but like I said, next to you, nothing. So I’m teasing and you’re so interesting when you’re checking my chess pieces.
I’m boring you. Still got the hots for Scott’s parking lot? Looks like rain. I got to run before I get wet. I’ll eat at home. Here comes “a bomb a day” mmiriww and Uncle so you’ll get the latest to snap you out of it. Maybe I’ll see you later in Ojai at Rainbow Bridge cafe.
Yesterday I visited a pub in the nearby with a friend,we took a beer.In the corner was sitting a guy with a couple of empty bottles on his table. After a while,he stands up and asked for the toilet, the barman showed him where to find…and told him with a very cheering face : “but don’t forget to pull down you pants…” You could imagine the laugh in the pub.I didn’t asked the barman if there is a history in this regard with that guy…maybe,I don’t know but the life is sad,the youngs had a good fun with an older guy who was drinking his mind all alone…

Expansion of Daesh scourge in Libya ‘terrifying,’ Ban says
Sat Mar 5, 2016 3:4PM
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has warned of a “terrifying” expansion of the presence of the Daesh Takfiri terrorists in Libya.
Ban said during his visit to Mauritania on Friday, “We face the terrifying scourge of Daesh expanding in Libya and beyond its borders.”
The UN chief also warned “any outside player” not to “stoke the fires of conflict” in Libya.
Speaking of the Lebanon, as the frenchies themselves still call their former colony, & can be seen here their intrigue scheming & interference still extends there.
And why not give them to the Saudis! If they’re in the condition of the old french joke “never fired, dropped only once”, they’re like new.
Riyadh to receive French-made arms intended for Lebanon

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir announced the plan on Saturday during a visit to France.
Yet another article about how Putin is to blame for Europe’s rapefugee/ecomigrants crisis…
…but what I want to highlight here, if anybody out there is still in doubt of the masses waking up and clearly seeing through the lies… just skip to the comment section (also notice the up-thumbs vs. down-thumbs on each comment. *Spoiler alert* all pro-Russian comments get the thumbs up while dumbass Russophobes get visibly down thumbed).
Additionally: the views the public are expressing on this particular article have a rather impressive wide scope, to me, this suggests that they’re not only NOT believing the propaganda, they’re getting themselves informed via other sources other than the MSM.

Obviously the people is awakening and those in charge know it , and so they are moving. Attention to this MUST READ translated into Spanish from German about the campaign of demonization on the German MSM against Russia and the counteroffensive they are preparing, the European secret services and elites, to silence alternative sources like “certain blogs”. I do not discard that in the concept “certain blogs” is included this blog:
“War propaganda and war. The two sides the same coin”. An essay by Wolfgang Bittner
Foreword by Albrecht Müller
http://blogdelviejotopo.blogspot.com.es/2016/03/propaganda-belica-y-guerra-las-dos.html
“(…) Who are still hesitating should consult the printed version of Der Spiegel last week, where on page 10 you can read an editorial signed by Mathieu von Rohr, deputy head of foreign policy department. In the absence of the German version, here the English version [click on the link].
Pure and simple war propaganda! A publication of so much aggression could recently read in the magazine Stern.
The mere fact that two media, which during the years 60/70 still passed by advocates of a policy of detente, have now gone over to the war propagandists, it is interpreted as a dramatic worsening of any opportunity to return to a policy of cooperation (….)
(…) We are hidden that only the military aid the Asad government had requested from Moscow conforms to international law, since the other fighters are operating within the sovereign statethat is Syria. Neither is mentioned nor any word criticizes the brutal shooting down of the Russian fighter plane by the Turkish military. the same with the permanent and massive violations of human rights in Turkish territory. Besides completely is obviated that the Turkish army is bombing Kurdish cities and attacking Kurdish troops who are operating on Syrian territory against the Islamic State. Otherwise, negotiations on the “issue of refugees” could be harmed, judging by the respective statements of Merkel and Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. (…)
(…) On a recent visit to Berlin by President Petro Poroshenko, who is at war with his East countrymen, Merkel covered his back with her answer in favor of maintaining economic sanctions on Russia [5]. In the tabloid Bild we could read: “Merkel remains hard against Russia” [6]. Despite the chronology of events, which shows us that governments, secret services and foreign NGOs have spent years preparing the “regime change” in Ukraine [7], continue to spread the lie that the aggressor is Russia.(…)
(…) The secession of Crimea in the Ukraine ruled by Kiev, since then serves as a pretext to the Western alliance for economic sanctions which not only reach and affect Russia but also largely to Europe, as had to admit American Vice President Joe Biden in October 2014 in a speech at the Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge / Massachusetts [8]. The alleged “annexation” of Crimea by Russia has been serving for constant justification, when in fact and looked closely, it was a secession, which is something completely different. There was no forced annexation, but a declaration of independence of a state under free elections that guaranteed entry into the Russian Federation [9].
But such historical collections of the Ukrainian conflict they prefer leaving them in the dark, like the coup in Kiev, the killings in Maidan and in Odessa or the downing of the Malaysian plane MH 17. They continue with its effort to cover up, threaten, shake and rearm to such an extent that Russia can not but feel really threatened. That NATO, dominated by the US, have in all the leading voice can be deduced from the statements of its current Secretary General Stoltenberg, former Rasmussen and Philip Breedlove, his military chief.(…)
The Federal Intelligence Service (BND) and the Office for Protection of the Constitution (BfV) have already received orders.
(…) the federal government wants the secret services investigate whether it is true that “from the Kremlin covertly manipulate public and political debates in Germany” [10]. According to orders received by the Foreign Ministry, the BND and the BfV have to find out “if the Russian secret services through disinformation campaigns, seek to sow anxiety and concern”(…) Moscow suspected of plotting for “systematic destabilization” of Germany and the Federal Government; says that Chancellor Merkel and President Gauck are personally interested in the subject and that the Foreign Ministry is already familiar.(…)
(…)The FAZ, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, without more opined that those who came to misinform, to infiltrate and destabilize had to be sought between blogguers and sites dedicated to “spreading the points of Muscovites view the rest of the world” [12].(…)
(…) As propaganda against Russia increases, it is growing mobilization against opponents which in Germany has already reached grotesque and alarming extremes.
We are informed that the EU Foreign Service (INP / European Database) has created a special unit “East StratCom Task Force” / Strategic Team East) which has to deal with “the long and widely organized propaganda” by the Russian authorities in the EU member countries. EU experts is confident that Moscow has spent months trying to destabilize the European Union, thus leading through timely misinformation and what is considered a “hybrid war”.(…)
(…) On February 23, 2016, the Frankfurter Rundschau of liberal-left orientation, which still usually read from time to time, informs me that the German interior minister has authorized what in German is called ‘Bundestroyaner’, the ‘Federal Trojan’ [ 22]. It refers to a software package with which state authorities can enter computers and smartphones of suspicious people and monitor their communications.(…) the “Federal Trojan” under the pretext of combating terrorism and / or organized crime poses a serious invasion of the privacy of citizens that is almost uncontrollable. Another step towards the police state.(…)
(…) the terms and concepts that are handled here, are very susceptible to interpretation. Who on the causes / origins of the conflict in Ukraine or the Syrian civil war, intervention by the German army (Bundeswehr) abroad or membership in NATO, publicly disagree from the government review and its media, in the view of so-called “constitutional protection”, could reach to endanger the foundations or the continuity of our state. And who asked permission for a demonstration for peace, may have originated or evoked a risk of injury and death. And such citizens, from now on, could be spied even more than before. And one must ask what the consequences for every citizen and for society as a whole will be.”
This article remembers me at the old days of socialism when we were listening to Radio Free Europe, financed by the US State Department criticizing the lack of freedom in Eastern-Europe states from the Warschau-Pakt,stating that we were subjects to daily surveillance and have to live with fear. But that surveillance was a joke compared with nowadays. And now they say that they win the Cold War,united Germany,”liberated” entire Eastern-Europe from the barbaric Soviet Rule, even destroyed Soviet Union, all thanks to the high-level of “positive propaganda” screamed out from Radio Free Europe. Now there we are, they are scared of the same coin, the boomerang effect they created. It seems they have not learned the lessons of history.
@ elsi:
“Obviously the people is awakening and those in charge know it , and so they are moving [etc]”
Yeah, elsi, you’ve got a point. It’s just that I’m both elated and kind of surprised that people are finally waking up. I’ve been waiting for this to happen, to no avail, for the last 10 plus years. Now that is finally happening, I can hardly believe it.
Having said that; not all people everywhere are waking up at the same pace. If I understand it correctly (thanks in part to our friend, Martin, reporting from Germany) Germans are still largely asleep, happily drinking the MSM kool-aid. The French are a mixed-bag and I’m not so sure about the Americans or the Canadians.
Over-all the Millennials on both sides of the pond seem to be generally living in cloud cuckoo land, especially in relation to international geo-politics, they seem only preoccupied with issues that affect them directly like; student debt, austerity, jobs, cost of living, things like that. That’s why they’re fully backing politicians such as Sanders or Corbyn. But when asked about Syria, Russia, the BRICS [etc] they are clueless.
We are sandwiched between the senior voters – who are set in their ways and normally vote in favor of the status quo – and the clueless Millennials.

finally, the cafe of the moveable feast, the place to feast, to unwind, to recharge…ah waiter, another special brew please.. that was their drink, (i think), i have been sitting here in the corner chewing the end of my pencil, blank paper before me, for half an hour. how can one write a poem while knowing of the Great Terror, the great terror that went underground, or appeared to but i always knew it was there still. what is a poem anyway, but something scorched and tremulous, like light faint burnt paper in wind after fire.

Something I have been thinking about over the last few days is the likes of Putin and Lavrov being called traitors by regular commentators here, perhaps in the heat of the moment.
Where is the redline drawn? Below the redline there can be no compromise and above that redline there is room to compromise and maneuver. At the red line there is no retreat and if you lose, you lose all. There is no living to fight another day
If the bar is set too high with little or no room for compromise then it becomes an extremist position.
If the bar is set too low then everything can be compromised.
My thoughts here also carry over into the media. If the MSM is black and a few independent journalists/bloggers are white there are also many shades of grey in between. (add bellingcat and SOHR to the MSM black group)
Now if one predicts something ahead of time one is called a prophet or psychic ( not a conspiracy theorist, please)

Did anyone noticed how Donald Trump is attacked on all fronts, from all sites, from any direction ? All the MSM media in Europe is against him,the Republicans are going hand in hand against him,the CNN master-lady Amanpour not to speak, she’s devil anyway and she will go to Hell. What is going on,maybe you americans have a better sight from inside and tell us more.
Did you expect something different?
Trump may not be a master of all classes like Putin, but he sure is more interesting and entertaining than all the remaining Goldman Sachs candidates taken together.
The Zionists are obviously fuming. On their to-do list for world domination, Trump wasn’t even mentioned. To them, winning the US presidential elections is a given.
Now they have to work overtime to steer the carefully staged election extravaganza in the required direction, while at the same time, having to reinterpret the kabbala from scratch yet again.
The “powers that be” in the US have decided on Hillary Clinton to be President. They get a warmonger stooge, sure to cause a war (or several). While they can also “market” her as a “liberal” interested in “human rights. And most important, herald her as the “First US Woman President,dah-dah-dah”. Its a dream come true for them. Sanders or Trump is a nightmare for them. They figure (probably correctly) that the Democrat Party elite will rig the game enough to stop Sanders. But the Republicans have so many horrible candidates that they are in trouble there. Trump is the only “viable” candidate they have. They are a party that is around 80% “Anglo White”. And they run two Hispanic candidates, and one Black one. Trump is the only one that can “relate” to their base. Though for the “ultra-right” of their party. Cruz is doing better than I expected. I think his naked fascism appeals to them more than Trumps lukewarm fascism does. But still they will do anything and everything they can to stop him. After the “Super Tuesday” wins for Trump I think he should “double,or triple, his security. His enemies would have no moral problems with killing him if they “needed” to. The fact that he says he can make a deal with Putin. And have good relations with Russia. While comforting to Russians. Is a “kiss of death” for the Russophobes in the US.They fear Trump, and want to destroy him before he gets the nomination if at all possible.

Particularly this bit: “After the “Super Tuesday” wins for Trump I think he should double, or triple, his security”
Hi everyone.
I have been having quite a few discussions about the Russian situation with relatively informed people, although the reality of the situation regarding Russia is new to them.
Mostly people are fairly open, but i hit a constant hurdle with the meme “Russia/Putin kills journalists”. This generally always comes up and i know little about the details because i look at it as neocon perception management.
Could anyone please help me with details about this to help me clarify in further discussions?
Thanks!
I wonder how far away we are to a revolution, or a coup in Turkey? After yesterday I can’t see how the EU will be able to continue to support the Turkish regime. And still dare to proclaim to their peoples that they are “democratic states”. Any democracy in Turkey is dead. And its getting very hard (almost impossible) for the Western media to cover that up to their peoples.

Yeah Bob,the Western media together with their politicians are tying hard to cover up Erdogans machinations but with little effect. The dirt is getting so huge by day and they try in their fear everything just to keep the facade of democracy alive. If we think they will drop Turkey we’re wrong, they won’t do that until US will not give that order. And the US needs Turkey with Erdogan and his prime-minister.Europe,mainly Germany needs it too, mostly because of migrants. There is a catch.
A good insight into Aleksandr Dugin’s thinking.
In 4 parts (bottom to top below). Recorded March 5, 2016.
An unusual view on Trump as a rather rare uninitiated American male at odds with the initiated US establishment elites and their various eschatological pre-conditioning. Dugin may have a point there.
Otherwise, his return to a pre-nation state traditionalism is interesting but less than practical, imo. Again, stripped down, it is authoritarianism (albeit Christian based) verses free-thinking (which I believe he sees as now liberalism). I’m not sure he’s sold me on that aspect. Seems a touch romantic in its leanings and ultimately avoiding the breakthroughs of the Enlightenment and science. Again, with these types, it is not so much what is said, but rather the implications of what they are saying. Simply shifting identity from ‘nationalism’ to ’empire’ (orthodox christian in his case) does not address the fundamental existential issues and still leaves the issue of class of empires rather than clash of smaller nation states. He throws some interesting angles but his final comments about needing to solve “our existential challenge” (but not the Indians or Chinese etc) seem somewhat paradoxical — these ‘challenges’ are very much inbuilt into the world-views (Weltanschauung) he chooses to apply. The thought that the basic assumptions and premise of Judo-Christian-Islamic “end times” are the cause of the problem(s) he’s focused on does not seem to occur to him. At least in this short interview he does not distinguish clearly between individual epidemiological frameworks for personal orientation and guidance (desirable or otherwise) and various state/empire-level systems of governance.

In Swedish news today: (google translate)
“A senior officer in the Military Intelligence and Security Service (MUST) is accused of having threatened the managers and employees of the Armed Forces and their families, writes Expressen. MUST-chief Major General Gunnar Karlsson wants to dismiss the officer who designed the threats so that they would appear to come from the Russian side.
It is the newspaper Expressen reports about the case that is seen as very sensitive at the Military Intelligence and Security Service. The officer has worked at a department which, among other things, works to uncover how the Russian military agents are working in Sweden. His task has been to provide information about the Russian threat against the Swedish Armed Forces, according to the newspaper’s sources.
But now the officer is no longer staying at his workplace after it emerged that the man should have rung threatening calls to other employees of MUST and their families. Even the threat of text should have been presented. The threats have been designed in a way so that they are suspected to come from the Russian intelligence service.
In December, Major General Gunnar Karlsson sent a request to Armed Forces personnel that the officer should be dismissed. The letter makes clear that Karlsson has absolutely no confidence in the officer. Already last fall, he was be deemed to unreliable to take part of secret documents. The Armed Forces Communications Department confirms that it got a notification.
– The matter is currently being prepared on the Defence Staff Disciplinary and before it is completed, we make no comments, said the officer communicator Elisabeth Bjelke to SVT News.
Security Police also interrogated the man and he was held in custody for threats for two days last fall, but the investigation was closed after questioning.
The man’s lawyer Gunnar Falk has been gagged, Expressen reports that have been in contact with him.”

re: Lebanon becoming another front for Isis attack. 3/7/16 on RT’s Crosstalk the commentators talked about Lebanon and the fact that the pot is being stirred–something is up. It is Isis tactic to open a new front when it is being defeated on others. Plus, if Hezbollah has to pull back to defend its rear, then, the Syrian Arab Army’s defense of its border with Turkey is weakened.
And Israel, oh waiting in the wings Israel, has a stake in the game–Golan Heights for sure. Meanwhile the US and its two new bases ( hey, folks we are here to stay) in NE Syria, will double down on its creation of greater Kurdistan.

Some may remember Shoigu made a reference to an invisible Russian cat in Ukraine in 2014. Now it looks as if he alluded to a CIA experiment in the 1960s. It was a total failure and cost some twenty million dollars. I think Shoigu meant the Russian invisible operation was a success in comparison. The article is not in English and must be identified and translated on google.
“55 years ago initiated the CIA top secret cat project, which came to a total flop.
The bill for the fiasco of the “Acoustic Kitty”: $ 20 million.”

The second humorous article exists in at least two versions on the internet. One of them was posted on Sakers old blog and one at niqnaq (I don’t know which one this is). I see Shoigu quoted differently this year, but below you can read what he really said, as reported by Tass.
How was I reminded of Shoigus words almost two years ago?
I read a posting on a European site and the next day it was removed. That annoys me, so I post at the Vineyard where there are many readers from all over the world. A way to turn a defeat inte a victory for us who want free speech.

– I have it on good authority there is a Russian cat in Donbass, Mr President.
– So what? Cats are cats. What are you guys at SBU thinking? Why bother me with cats? I am getting tired of strange reports.
– This particular cat is not what it seems to be.
– What is wrong with it?
– It is a Russian cat, Mr President, a Russian cat. That says it all.
– Yes, I suppose it does, but, eh, what does it say?
– You know these Moskals. They don’t send a cat, unless they plan something.
– What do they plan?
– We don’t know yet, but we intend to find out, of course.
– I’m lost.
– I’ll use simple words, Mr President. The cat is black and clever.
– And?
– Could be a Trojan horse of sorts. We have had our best minds working on the problem and we think we have come up with a solution.
– What have you come up with?
– We think it is best to force the cat to reveal itself. We want to send a mouse to Donbass.
– A mouse? Why infest the place with mice?
– Cats are cats, as you said. They find a big fat mouse irresistible.
– And then?
– The whole world will see the cat for what it is.
– No, I am not buying it.
– Mr President, this is not a real cat. This is a Russian plot of sorts. We want to set a trap and find out what it is. Right now we are fumbling in the dark.
– I can see that.
– The cat is polite. We want it to lose its temper.
– How do you intend to do that?
– This is the plan, Mr President, this is the plan….
—
Two hours later….
– I understand. What do you propose?
– Perhaps we can lure Kolomoisky to Donbass.
– Mmm.
– Yarosh and his men?
– That is a possibility.
– Parubiy?
– Good idea, but I have a better plan.
– What is the plan, Mr President?

The ministry of the interior August 2014
– Igor, how are you?
– Why the ____ do you ask that? I am _____.
– Sorry about that.
– What do you want, you ____?
– SBU just told me the terrorists are sitting on four billion dollars.
– Billions? Those ______ . Tell me more.
– They plan a deal with Poroshenko and/or Akhmetov. Very profitable.
– Four billions? ____.
– Yes, Igor.
– What a ____. That must not happen. Set up a meeting. Tell those ________ I want to talk.
– They will probably want a meeting in Donetsk. Perhaps you should insist on Azov security guards? Or, Yarosch and his best men, perhaps?
– Good idea. I will call these _________ at once.

SBU officer calling Moscow August 2014
– The cat will soon be fed.
– A tempting target?
– It certainly is, a real rat and some smaller rats instead of mice.
– Good. The cat is waiting.
