NATO’s invasion of Moldova foiled thanks to coordinated actions of many nations’ patriots
It’s hard to overestimate the value of planning in advance, especially when it comes to getting reservations in popular restaurants and invading countries by military force.
In the week of the May 9th Victory Day two significant failures took place each one remarkable in its own way. Each event went completely unreported by the Western corporate and government media, but discussed on Social Media.
[The followings is an excerpt. Look for a full version of this investigation in the June release of my new book: “Scott Humor: Rumors, Speculations and Investigations of the First Hybrid War”]
In the following three weeks after the incident with the USS Florida, while Russia was preparing for Victory Day celebrations and all eyes were on Moscow, attention of Ukrainians was fully concentrated on the visit of Victoria Nuland to Kiev on April 26th allegedly to discuss the implementation of the Minsk II Agreement and the future elections in Donetsk and Lugansk republics. Since the day when President Putin said that the republics can have their elections anytime they want, the question of these elections ceased to be a subject of blackmail toward the Kremlin. It appeared that the true reason for Nuland’s visit could be located to the west of Kiev, rather than the east.
Just recently, Robert D. Kaplan, a former Stratfor’s Chief Geopolitical Analyst, and currently a senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) has published a book “In Europe’s Shadow” where he lays out a plan to reunite Romania with “its lost province of Moldova.”
Nuland visited Moldova back in January, with the task to coerce Moldova’s government and its oligarchs to change the country’s Constitution provision of neutrality.
Before she left, she gave a short speech at the American Embassy in Bucharest after a private dinner with PM Ciolos and President Klaus.
“We powerfully support the desire of the people in Moldova to have responsible leaders who can implement reforms. This is the best way to assure the future of Moldova. Romania and the United States, in conjunction with NATO, have support programs in place to assure the security of Moldova but the government has to work to implement these programs.”
Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Eastern Europe, and its economy heavily relies on Russia. According to the CIA Fact Book:
- Moldova’s annual remittances of about $1.12 billion comes from the roughly one million Moldovans working in Europe, Russia, and other former Soviet Bloc countries;
- Moldova imports almost all of its energy supplies from Russia and Ukraine;
- Moldova’s dependence on Russian energy is underscored by a more than $5 billion debt to Russian natural gas supplier Gazprom;
- Moldova signed an Association Agreement and a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with the EU during fall 2014, however its biggest trade partner remains Russia.
Everyone understands that a NATO membership will cut all economic ties with Russia, including jobs, and it will turn Moldova into a failed state, or in the CIA doublespeak, the country would stop being vulnerable to “Russian pressure.”
Apparently, the failure of Moldova as a state, and its disappearance as a nation is also what the EU wants. On January 6, the new Moldovan Ambassador to Germany was presenting his credentials when, out of the blue, the German president asked the new ambassador what the procedure was for Republic of Moldova to formally unite with Romania.
On May 4th, the Katehon reported on Vladimir Plahotniuc’s (the infamous Moldavian oligarch and mafia boss) visit to the US and his meeting with Victoria Nuland there.
As the Victory Day celebration was approaching, we all fully anticipated from the US to conduct terror acts, military excursions/drills, and political and legal attacks on Russia as the US and the EU always do to harass Russia during its major national and Church holidays.
Starting with April 21st, we saw a flurry of “news” about Ukraine and Romania joining NATO Black Sea flotilla and the organization of Romanian-Ukrainian-Bulgarian brigade similar to that created by Poland. On April 26, Georgia (Gruzia) pitched in via the Georgia Today: “creation of NATO Black Sea Fleet Gains US Support” and praising Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania for calls to expand the Western military.
All what Russia said to all this NATO generated noise was a brief statement of Russia’s envoy to NATO Alexander Grushko. “NATO should be in a position to know that all necessary steps will be taken from our side to neutralize the emerging threats.”
With all these preparations for the war on Russia going on, NATO also planned military drills in neutral Moldova, chosen to start on May 2nd, the day of remembrance for the victims of the Odessa Massacre.
Meanwhile, the patriots of Moldavia who worked together regardless of their political views, discovered something interesting and saved Moldova.
NATO reported that for drills they would be entering Moldova in four formations, and that the total of motorized units will be 50+. However, the very first formation that made an attempt to enter the territory of Moldova contained 100+ unites. This was just one formation. And there was expected three more formations.
It was an obvious deception by NATO.
The plan of NATO was to enter the country with too large for this tiny country forces, to stage a bloody false flag attack during the Victory Day celebration in Moldova with the participation of Ukrainian Right Sector terrorists masquerading as “pro-Russia separatists.” This plot worked in Ukraine, so it should work in Moldova, right? That’s the true reason why Nuland was in Kiev two weeks prior. After this false flag attack, a Romanian fleet was planned to enter Ukrainian territorial waters “by invitation of the Ukrainian government” and arrive to Odessa in order to block Russian fleets from interfering and helping Transnistria.
But…
Coming back to the bizarre incident near Gibraltar, when one NATO member’s tiny 20 tone Costal Guards’ boat was attacked by another NATO member for interfering with the 18,000 tones behemoth of a submarine of the third NATO member.
The NATO plan apparently was to stealthy and quietly position the Ohio-class ballistic guided-missile submarine USS Florida (SSGN 728) in the Mediterranean or even in the Black Sea so it would be able to shoot into Moldova to overwhelm Moldovan minuscule defense forces.
We have to remember that it was the USS Florida “that opened up the Libya intervention,” firing more than 90 cruise missiles to destroy Libya’s air defenses and clearing the way for NATO air strikes. “Never before in the history of the United States of America has one ship conducted that much land attack strikes, conventionally, in one short time period,” Rear Adm. Rick Breckenridge had said.
However, thanks to Spanish Costal Guards the submarine was discovered and talked about all around the world via social media and the press. The USS Florida had no other options but to retreat and return to home base.
In fact, there were TWO incidents on the same April 16th day involving the USS Florida. First, it was the Spanish patrol boat belonged to the Servicio de Vigilancia Aduanera, at whom the British Navy opened fire. A bit later, the Guardia Civil vessel Rio Cedeña tried to cut across the submarine’s bow and was photographed by multiple witnesses.
Someone in Spain wanted to make sure that this “incidents” just wouldn’t go unnoticed.
According to V.V. Pyakin, a political analyst with the Concept Technologies Foundation, a think tank located in St. Petersburg, NATO was in a process of conducting a full-scale invasion of Moldova with the annexation of a Southern part of Ukraine including Odessa to construct a NATO Navy base there. Moldova was supposed to become a part of Romania automatically with the US military forces arriving to the capital and taking over the government of Moldova. That’s why NATO needed all those military “drills” in the Black Sea region and in the Baltics simultaneously.
When the patriotic forces of Moldavia discovered that NATO was about to enter the territory of Moldova in four formations, 100+ motorized units each, they protested loudly and blocked the entrance of NATO troops on the border. Meanwhile, the biggest political fraction in Moldova threatened with the impeachment of the president for treason, if NATO troops would be allowed to enter the country.
Reports from Moldova at the time disclosed that American troops stopped at the border crossing didn’t have proper ID and other papers. Moldovans came to greet them with the banners “Moldova is a neutral country” and “Stop bases of NATO,” “Stop NATO” and “NATO go home.” As the result, on April 28th only about 60 units and 200 servicemen the U.S. Army 2nd Cavalry Regimental Engineer Squadron were allowed to enter the country.
Images of creeping NATO invasion of Moldova here
When a formation of American military crossed the Romanian-Moldova border allegedly to take part in Dragon Pioneer 2016 NATO military drills, Moldavian opposition leaders expressed protests. Several members of the Parliament blocked the road. They reported to Russian and international media and news outlets that the US troops didn’t have an international agreement signed by the defense ministers of Moldova and USA. They also lacked a legal government agreement on the entrance of the heavy military equipment and weaponry to the territory of the country. 60% of American servicemen didn’t have valid military IDs.
According to a TASS report, “To prevent collisions, officers from the Fulger (Lightning) police battalion of special purpose intervened, which were specially delivered from Chisinau. After checking the documents, a column of military vehicles followed the US to the place of temporary location at the site of Negresht,” said the inspectorate.”
“The initiative to invite the US troops into the country and hold the exhibition of American technology belongs to the Minister of Defense of Moldova Anatol Șalaru, who is famous for the organization of the “Museum of Soviet occupation” in Chisinau, calls to repeal neutrality and make the country a member of NATO, and the fight against monuments of the Soviet era.”
This move was harshly criticized by Igor Dodon, whose party has the largest faction in Parliament and controls a quarter of the seats.
He stated: “We believe military exercises involving US troops on Moldovan territory is a flagrant violation of the constitutional principle of neutrality of Moldova. In this regard, the deputies from the Party of socialists have already initiated a number of procedures. They will continue, and this will be one of the reasons for introducing in May the initiative to dismiss the government.”
By Victory Day it became apparent that the Nuland-Kogan-NATO plan for invasion of Moldova was foiled. All Americans could do was to “crush” a Victory Day parade in the center of Moldova’s capital by coming uninvited and bringing their motorized vehicles to it.
And that’s where NATO troops and Moldovan patriots came face to face.

An American Colonel demands from the citizen of Moldova to leave the central square
Moldavian activists chased NATO troops from the capital during the Victory Day Celebration
For your information, an American colonel who acts like a new owner of a colony of Moldova and is entitled to command local aboriginals “to get lost” is the US military attaché to Republic of Moldova, LTC Joseph Bilbo.

Hello Scott, good research.
Thank you.
PMR – my dream country – is in big danger.
And had talked to Romanian friends (from the other end of Romania, near Timisoara) last year, but our friendship ended when I noticed that they think Moldova == Romania.
That’s a common view in all of Romania, as I found out.
They hate the Soviet Union and Russia.
:(
Not only romanians think that moldavians are indeed romanians and should belong to Romania, but also mister Vladimir Zhirinovsky (born Vladimir Volfovich Eidelstein). He is a Russian politician and political activist. He is a colonel in the Russian Army, founder and the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe[1][2][3][4] and was twice, in 2000 and in 2004, elected deputy speaker of the Duma.[2]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Zhirinovsky
He says (aproximate translation) : “We’ve allowed them not to be soviets but we forbid them to be what they really are and after that we think it’s some kind of orange version. What does the orange version got to do with anything? It’s us who called them moldavians. There is no such people called moldavians just like there is no Vologda people or Tver people. Isn’t that so? They are romanians and let them live with romanians and they must go to Romania.”

And for a good reason Romanian’s don’t like and don’t trust Russia.
The writer conveniently forgets history.
The Fact that the USSR annexed Moldova after WW II from Romania!!!! And then split it by giving the southern piece to Ukraine.
And the living hell the USSR brought to Romania after WW II.
Kinda forgot that part, huh….
Merci.
Perhaps one who considers the ills of the USSR and communism – in regards to Eastern Europe and Romania in particular – should examine the mass export of women from Eastern European countries such as Moldova, Romania, Hungary and Czech Republic for use as sexual labour, to put as mildly as might be possible. Did such a practice occur before the time of domination of the USSR or during that period, or is it only from the 1990s onwards that such a trend has occurred? What socio-economic indicators might one derive from the rise of such an export of one’s women-folk as an economic resource? Let alone the moral implications.
Although, Dan is probably a professional troll, so one would not expect much response to a reasonable question, except perhaps with insults, lies and obfuscation.
Exporting women to where? From where? And when? But you perhaps mean the German army during the days of WW2, perhaps?
As for Soviet Union, or “Russia”, there has never been export from, at least Czechoslovakia (your usage of “Czech Republic shows your history awareness reaches just back to 1991, so think twice before you place any strong comment) or Hungary. Sorry to disappoint you – but whole my family has been living in Central Europe for centuries.
As for Moldova, they speak the same language as in Romania. Similarly, the U.S. speak the same language as New Zealanders. Why don’t you use the same argument for joining all English speaking countries into one nation as well?
@ Mr. Dan Bastard, is that your name?
I can see with clear eyes that you violated the commentation rules by insulting not only other readers but by insulting the author and then probably at the same time insulting truth, justice and a sane mind. It makes me wonder why such trolling is permitted here. I doubt your circles would permit anymody to post such a comment to your “well-informed” blog sites.
Go learn your own history first!
Even the anti-Russian wikipedia cannot rewrite teh Bessarabia article sufficiently to prove you correct.
Bessarabia is a multi-ethnic often disputed territory which has never been part of an independent (let alone monoethnic) Romania for more than at most 1 or 2 decades, and then only verrry late in history.
Look for who invaded and annexed this area over time, many, espcially it sounds as if you want Romania to be split between Austro-Hungary and the Ottomans.

“””””Principality of Moldavia
Main article: History of Moldavia
Most of Bessarabia was for centuries part of the principality of Moldavia. (1800 map, Moldavia in dark orange)
After the 1360s the region was gradually included in the principality of Moldavia, which by 1392 established control over the fortresses of Cetatea Albă and Chilia, its eastern border becoming the River Dniester. In the latter part of the 14th century, the southern part of the region was for several decades part of Wallachia. The main dynasty of Wallachia was called Basarab, from which the current name of the region originated. In the 15th century, the entire region was a part of the principality of Moldavia. Stephen the Great ruled between 1457 and 1504, a period of nearly 50 years during which he won 32 battles defending his country against virtually all his neighbours (mainly the Ottomans and the Tatars, but also the Hungarians and the Poles), while losing only two. During this period, after each victory, he raised a monastery or a church close to the battlefield honoring Christianity. Many of these battlefields and churches, as well as old fortresses, are situated in Bessarabia (mainly along Dniester).
Cetatea Albă (now situated in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Ukraine) was one of the many important castles in Basarabia.
In 1484, the Turks invaded and captured Chilia and Cetatea Albă (Akkerman in Turkish), and annexed the shoreline southern part of Bessarabia, which was then divided into two sanjaks (districts) of the Ottoman Empire. In 1538, the Ottomans annexed more Bessarabian land in the south as far as Tighina, while the central and northern Bessarabia remained part of the Principality of Moldavia (which became a vassal of the Ottoman Empire). Between 1711 and 1812, the Russian Empire occupied the region five times during its wars against Ottoman and Austrian Empires.
Annexation by the Russian Empire
Main article: Bessarabia in the Russian Empire
The Moldavian-Russian boundary between 1856/1857 and 1878
By the Treaty of Bucharest of May 28, 1812—concluding the Russo-Turkish War, 1806-1812—the Ottoman Empire ceded the land between the Pruth and the Dniester, including both Moldavian and Turkish territories, to the Russian Empire. That entire region was then called Bessarabia.[6]
In 1814, the first German settlers arrived and mainly settled in the southern parts and Bessarabian Bulgarians began settling in the region too, founding towns such as Bolhrad. Between 1812 and 1846, the Bulgarian and Gagauz population migrated to the Russian Empire via the River Danube, after living many years under oppressive Ottoman rule, and settled in southern Bessarabia. Turkic-speaking tribes of the Nogai horde also inhabited the Budjak Region (in Turkish Bucak) of southern Bessarabia from the 16th to 18th centuries, but were totally driven out prior to 1812.
Administratively, Bessarabia became an oblast of the Russian Empire in 1818, and a guberniya in 1873.
By the Treaty of Adrianople that concluded the Russo-Turkish War of 1828-1829 the entire Danube Delta was added to the Bessarabian oblast.[citation needed] In 1834, Romanian language was banned from schools and government facilities, despite 80% of the population speaking the language. This would eventually lead to the banning of Romanian in churches, media and books. Those who protested the banning of Romanian could be sent to Siberia.[7]
At the end of the Crimean War, in 1856, by the Treaty of Paris, three districts of southern Bessarabia (Cahul, Bolgrad, and Ismail) were returned to Moldavia, causing the Russian Empire to lose access to the Danube river.
In 1859, Moldavia and Wallachia united to form the Romanian United Principalities (Romania), which included the southern part of Bessarabia.
The railway Chișinău-Iași was opened on June 1, 1875 in preparation for the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878) and the Eiffel Bridge was opened on April 21 [O.S. April 9] 1877, just three days before the outbreak of the war. The Romanian War of Independence was fought in 1877–78, with the help of the Russian Empire as an ally. Northern Dobruja was awarded to Romania for its role in the 1877–78 Russo-Turkish War, and as compensation for the transfer of the Southern Bessarabia.
The Kishinev pogrom took place in the capital of Bessarabia on April 6, 1903 after local newspapers published articles inciting the public to act against Jews; 47 or 49 Jews were killed, 92 severely wounded and 700 houses destroyed. The anti-Semitic newspaper Бессарабец (Bessarabetz, meaning “Bessarabian”), published by Pavel Krushevan, insinuated that a Russian boy was killed by local Jews. Another newspaper, Свет (Lat. Svet, meaning “World”), used the age-old blood libel against the Jews (alleging that the boy had been killed to use his blood in preparation of matzos).
After the 1905 Russian Revolution, a Romanian nationalist movement started to develop in Bessarabia. In the chaos brought by the Russian revolution of October 1917, a National Council (Sfatul Țării) was established in Bessarabia, with 120 members elected from Bessarabia by some political and professional organizations and 10 elected from Transnistria (the left bank of Dniester where Moldovans and Romanians accounted for less than a third and the majority of the population was Ukrainian. See Demographics of Transdniestria).
On January 14, 1918, during the disorderly retreat of two Russian divisions from the Romanian front, Chişinău was sacked. The Rumcherod Committee (Central Executive Committee of the Soviets of Romanian Front, Black Sea Fleet and Odessa Military District) proclaimed itself the supreme power in Bessarabia. The Russian commander of the region, General Dmitry Shcherbachev, unable to control Bessarabia due to the Bolshevik revolution, allegedly requested the Romanian Army for help.[citation needed] Russian historians dispute this request was made.[citation needed] On 16 January a Romanian division entered Chişinău, and on the following day Tighina on the shore of the river Dniester. The three-day Soviet rule in Bessarabia ended.
Declaration of unification of Romania and Bessarabia
Ten days later, on January 24, 1918, Sfatul Țării declared Bessarabia’s independence as the Moldavian Democratic Republic.
Unification with Romania
Main article: Union of Bessarabia with Romania
The county councils of Bălți, Soroca and Orhei were the earliest to ask for unification with the Kingdom of Romania, and on April 9 [O.S. March 27] 1918, in the presence of the Romanian Army,[8] Sfatul Ţării voted in favour of the union, with the following conditions:
Sfatul Țării would undertake an agrarian reform, which would be accepted by the Romanian Government.
Bessarabia would remain autonomous, with its own diet, Sfatul Țării, elected democratically
Sfatul Țării would vote for local budgets, control the councils of the zemstva and cities, and appoint the local administration
Conscription would be done on a territorial basis
Local laws and the form of administration could be changed only with the approval of local representatives
The rights of minorities had to be respected
Two Bessarabian representatives would be part of the Romanian government
Bessarabia would send to the Romanian Parliament a number of representatives equal to the proportion of its population
All elections must involve a direct, equal, secret, and universal vote
Freedom of speech and of belief must be guaranteed in the constitution
All individuals who had committed felonies for political reasons during the revolution would be amnestied.
86 deputies voted in support, 3 voted against and 36 abstained.
The first condition, the agrarian reform, was debated and approved in November 1918. Sfatul Țării also decided to remove the other conditions and made unification with Romania unconditional.[9] This vote has been judged illegitimate, since there was no quorum: only 44 of the 125 members took part in it (all voted “for”).[9] As of mid 1919, the population of Bessarabia was estimated at around 2 million.[10]
In the autumn of 1919, elections for the Romanian Constituent Assembly were held in Bessarabia; 90 deputies and 35 senators were chosen. On December 20, 1919, these men voted, along with the representatives of Romania’s other regions, to ratify the unification acts that had been approved by Sfatul Țării and the National Congresses in Transylvania and Bukovina.
The union was recognized by France, United Kingdom, Italy, and Japan in the Treaty of Paris of 1920, which however never came into force, because Japan did not ratify it. The United States refused to sign the treaty on the grounds that Russia was not represented at the Conference.[11] Soviet Russia (and later, the USSR) did not recognize the union, and by 1924, after its demands for a regional plebiscite were declined by Romania for the second time, declared Bessarabia to be Soviet territory under foreign occupation.[12]
The US also considered Bessarabia a territory under Romanian occupation, rather than Romanian territory, despite existing political and economic relations between the US and Romania.[13]
Part of Romania

A Provisional Workers’ & Peasants’ Government of Bessarabia was founded on May 5, 1919, in exile at Odessa, by the Bolsheviks.
On May 11, 1919, the Bessarabian Soviet Socialist Republic was proclaimed as an autonomous part of Russian SFSR, but was abolished by the military forces of Poland and France in September 1919 (see Polish–Soviet War). After the victory of Bolshevist Russia in the Russian Civil War, the Ukrainian SSR was created in 1922, and in 1924 the Moldovan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was established on a strip of Ukrainian land on the left bank of Dniester where Moldovans and Romanians accounted for less than a third and the relative majority of population was Ukrainian. What Mr. Dan B*** however conveniently forgot was, to remind himself of the cute history of Romania during WW2 as Hitler-axis ally:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romania_in_World_War_II
“””””As a member of the Axis, Romania joined the invasion of the Soviet Union on 22 June 1941, providing equipment and oil to Nazi Germany as well as committing more troops to the Eastern Front than all the other allies of Germany combined. Romanian forces played a large role during the fighting in Ukraine, Bessarabia, Stalingrad, and elsewhere. Romanian troops were responsible for the persecution and massacre of up to 260,000 Jews on Romanian-controlled territories, though most Jews living within Romania survived the harsh conditions.[2]”””””

So, kid, bad luck: If you invade the Soviet Union and lose the war, it can be that your original plans get reversed and even inversed. I know, it must be tough for you that poor Hitler didn’t win and bring us all into heaven. Being alive is boring anyway …
It is much better to die for Hitler’s Lebensraum, na, you first … ?!!
You don’t like Russia? And that was the reason you attacked USSR with Germans? And after that you are surprised USSR treated you like an enemy? Kinda forgot that part, huh….
Maybe you shouldn’t fight for nazis and everything could be fine.
Let’s expand and modernize this a bit: ‘Maybe you shouldn’t fight for USA and everything could be fine.’
I’m so sick and tired of seeing these yankee monkeys riding their junk with their rag flag into other countries as if they own the place, even uninvited. Moldovans need to stock up on some grenades the next time US military makes an imperial appearance.
Hats off to all Moldovans who resisted this slimy regime change by stealth.
Yes and you conveniently forget that Romania formed an alliance with Hitler during WWII, and took part in Operation Barbarosa, the NAZI invasion of the USSR, and participated in one of the bloodiest battles in all of history at Stalingrad. So they got exactly what they deserved. As for the Ukrainians, the also collaborated with the NAZI, and were responsible for the massacre of Poles, Jews, Gypsy among others in an attempt to ethnically cleanse Ukraine of any undesirable races. These fascists, Stepan Bandera, among them are considered heroes of post-Victoria “fuck the EU” Nuland western orchestrated coup d’etat, government, that saw openly and unashamedly fascist parties, the Right Sector and Svoboda take numerous portfolios in the government. I know you “American Exceptionalism” Russophobes are not very good at telling the whole story or contextualizing events, no doubt because the facts don’t support a sufficiently anti-Russian narrative.
Before WWI, Moldova was a part of the Russian Empire. It had never been a part of Romania. A state not formed until the middle of the 19th century. It had been Russian for over a hundred years. And was a multi-ethnic province then,as now (except even more then).Romania, after stealing the territory from a prostate Russian ally of Romania’s,during the Russian Revolution period. Attempted, until they lost the territory again in 1940,to Romanianize it. Stalin forced them to “cough up” their ill gotten gains, and made it a Republic of the USSR.
As to the “living hell the USSR brought to Romania after WW II”,as you say. Romania was a firm fascist ally of Hitler’s. And Romanians were involved in much of the horrors brought to the Southern USSR during the war. In 1944 ,seeing that Hitler was finished they betrayed him and switched sides. Because of that they were able to regain much of the lands they stole after WWI from Hungary and that Hitler forced them to return to Hungary. So instead of being treated as a defeated fascist power they got to be rehabilitated as an ally. Any suffering going on was the fault of Romanians, not Russians.Romania was the one country of the “Socialist Bloc” given more Independence than any other to run their own affairs.Something resented by the others BTW. It appears your knowledge of Romania’s history matches that of Bandera Ukrainians knowledge of Ukraine’s history.
Is that so, Uncle Bob? Has Moldova never belonged to Romania? Then, pray tell, when did Moldova belong to the Soviet Union before 1940? And if you’re going to tell me that USSR claimed Bessarabia on the grounds of being the Russian Empire’s heir, why Romania couldn’t have made the same claim on the grounds of being the Principality of Moldova’s heir?
P.S. As for “coughing up” ill gotten gains, say, do northern Bukovina and Hertza (annexed along with Bessarabia in 1940 although they never belonged to Russia) fit this description? Or were they rather a bit stolen?
If this starts getting personal – any further comments will go to the trash. There are many comments here giving the historical background – you seem to just want to start an argument and haven’t read the above comment. Stop trolling. Mod on duty.
@Intrigat:
Maybe not to the Soviet Union, but to Russia since the Russians freed many parts of Eastern Europe from the Ottoman Occupation desease. Without them you might still be a turkish province by now. Is that your dream?
Napoleonic wars happened in 1940? Oh, one always learns new things.
Before trolling around further, what about first _reading_ the interlinked x-references?

I don’t understand why this hate toward Russia while kissing the US balls. In 1953 the Soviet Army has left Romania while in other Eastern European countries was there till 1991.Romania has been left to develop independently on his own way.And what has been achieved under the socialist rule of the communist party is in many ways appreciated. Romania has not took part in the famous intervention against Czechoslovakia in 1968 and yet hasn’t been punished by the Soviet Union. As I remember back then, nobody (perhaps with some minor exceptions) hated the Russians. Today is another smell in the air, but I am sure that there are many , still, who think the other way around. Geographically, Russia is to be there for long, and Romania has to think and accept this reality. In the war against the Turks in 1870-es , the Romanian and Russian forces have fought jointly. Or is there the will for Romanian youth to repeat the wrong way of history and adventure again in war against Russia ? Somebody wants this for Romanians and for others also.
When will you wake up ?
Tnx for the interesting differences to other eastern block countries, ioan.
And to be fair: Although neiter the language (last real latin in daily use) nor the people are slavic, they do not only have cute young women with black hair and brown eyes, but also good honest people. And to the religios: They are Orthodox. Until 150 years ago all of Romania still used a Cyrillic scripts, like Moldova until circa 1989. Those who are old enough remember dear comrade Nicolae Ceaușescu and his wife in the highest terms.
If one mentiones the Soviet Union the reactions can be anything from euphoric to dangerous.
But all in all the people do know that the EU is a house of cards (lies, fraud, cheating, robbery, colonialism).
The only less friendly members of the society are young egoistic and materialistic BMW drivers (I like BMW’s too, but even if I had one – you know what I mean, there’s a difference). Not 100% but predominant parts of the youth have been raised as brainwashed westernized consumer slaves.
The people above 35 are often ok (for political discussions).
The roads are brand-new (like in Poland) and one gets the impression that the EU is creating another Poland there, to trigger greed and unrest east/northwards the border.
It is a wonderful country, but for my taste too much like western Europe (France, Italy).
Nature is beautiful, but there are too many cars now and a german Bauhaus and german Lidl and german Kaufland and german Aldi in every settlement. Hitler’s financiers could not have dreamt of this huge market – everything owned by the same few monopolists. Whereas EU regulations led to a situation, where local peasants in Romania were (are) no longer permitted to sell their own milk and other agricultural products in their own village on the market. Most are out of business now.
These other posters like Dan and I forgot the other name must be *blind*, if they are incapable of noticing that.
When will they wake up …
Moldova is a 1:1 miniature copy of Ukraine.
It is a multiethnical hotspot. It has a past as Soviet Republik.
The only difference is, that while Ukrainians and Russians are both RUS’ians, Romanians aka Moldovans aren’t.
But anyway, either Moldova acknowledges that it is a “country of regions [and ethnicities]”, or it has to admit – no, we aren’t a real country (same as in Belgia), and then they have to accept the consequences: Mutually negotiated peaceful Separation in dignity.
As long as Romania. NATO and EU (plus Berlin, Brussels) say “It is alllllll ourrrrrrss”, it will not work and leads to more bloodshed.
It is like with Berthold Brecht’s “The Caucasian Chalk Circle” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Caucasian_Chalk_Circle
Some funny commentators had claimed that allegedly NATO wants Moldova as “buffer country”.
Well, that’s what they stated in 1997, but now they said they want to unilaterally discard this guideline.
If anybody ever wanted Moldova or Ukraine to be really fair buffer states, then it is Russia. But who was it who inavded Ukraine – Maidan 1 and 2? Who attempted such color revolution also in Moldova just last year?
I have to wonder how uninformed some can be who then nevertheless find their way to the Saker. Paid trolls doing their day-job? Or robotic php scripts?
You might not like it but Russia is the accepted heir of the USSR. Just as the USSR was the heir of the Russian Empire. Now as to Bukovina,it also was never a part of a Romania. Which I remind you again was only formed in the middle of the 19th Century. And the areas of Bukovina acquired by the USSR (after Romania had seized them from Austria-Hungary at the end of WWI) were mainly Slavic Rus lands lost to Rus after the Mongol invasions. There is certainly a Romanian speaking minority there, but the majority is Slav. Romania more than doubled in size after WWI (where they were first an allied state. Then switched sides to the Germans and Austro-Hungarians. And then again switched sides near the end back to the winning allies),and seized large amounts of territory that was not ethnic Romanian. Stalin forced them to return Slavic areas, and the previous Russian territories just before the war struck the USSR. And Germany forced them to return “some” of the mostly ethnic Hungarian territories to Hungary. After they “again” switched sides in WWII and became an allied state (after years as a fascist ally) they were able to regain the territory they had lost to the also fascist ally Hungary (much to the anger of the Hungarians I might add. Who rightly considered it unjust). But the USSR kept their previously lost territories. That is not opinion, but easily checked historical fact.
Uncle Bob, your knowledge of Moldavian history is poor at best. Bukovina was part of the Moldavian principate since the 14th century, actually being it’s core, with the Moldavian capital in Suceava (yes, in Bukovina).
The population of the Hertza region, annexed by soviets despite not being included in the ultimatum, is practically all rumanian.
Considering that Rumania was formed by the unification of the rumanian principates – Moldavia and Wallachia – it is of course the inheritor of both, later of Transylvania also.
Rumania never switched sides in WW 1, but it was almost completely occupied by the german, austro-hungarian, and bulgarian armies, after initially trying to liberate Transylvania from the austro-hungarian occupier (Transylvania’s native majority population was and is rumanian speaking) in august 1916. Rumania was an ally of the Triple Entente.
Just a small region to the SE of Transylvania has a majority of hungarian speaking population, but Hitler forced a large swath of territory, where absolute majority of the population was rumanian, to be ceded to Hungary as access to the aforementioned region. The barbarisms of hungarians during this occupation, as revenge for the Trianon Treaty, were horrendous.
I love your comments, Intrigat, about stealing and being stolen. You should argue about the former Roman Empire, who occupied that territory some 1600 years ago. The Romanias speaking their Romanian Latin language, are they native Dhaks, or are they the offsprings of the Roman invasors? Should not then all Romanians “go home” to Rome and vacate the place?
Dan,
what are you talking about?
The FACT is Moldova or Bessarabia became a part of the Russian Empire as a result of the war with Napoleon in 1812.
https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%91%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%81%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%8F
You wrote: “”And the living hell the USSR brought to Romania after WW II”
The Soviet Union spent huge amount of money rebuilding the fascist Romania, which was a Hitler’ allay and participated in atrocities on the territory of the Soviet Russia.
The USSR turned Romania from backward agrarian fascist country into developed modern.
society.
Scotty, you’re wrong, Bessarabia (eastern part of the Moldavian principate named so after the annexation) was ceded by the Ottoman Empire without having the right – it wasn’t turkish terittory – after the Russian-Ottoman War of 1806-1812, by the Treaty of Bucharest. That was before Napoleon invaded Russia.
@Barm, without going into the Moldova details: Romania reminds me of Poland or Italy: Changing sides like the wind, cherry picking and rewriting history as it pleases them.
If Romania is so keen on getting the borders it deserves, then _these_ are your borders!!! (the small dark green area at 1859):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:RomaniaBorderHistoryAnnimation_1859-2010.gif
And now let me cherry-pick for a minute:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romania#History
“””””During the 1877–1878 Russo-Turkish War Romania fought on the Russian side,[60] and in the aftermath, it was recognized as an independent state both by the Ottoman Empire and the Great Powers by the Treaty of San Stefano and the Treaty of Berlin.[61][62]”””””
If you can count 1 and 1 together, then you must admit that Romania wasn’t an independent country until 150 years ago. And had it not for some while pretended to fight on Russia’s side, or had Russia not freed this area, Romanian might still not be a country of its own.
Without Russia’s help and blood, _this_ would be your God-damn destiny:

Also verbiete ich mir Ihre herabschauende Haltung.
Sher schlechtes Deutsch. Habe nichts verstanden.
Actually Poland is known to stubbornly keep the alliances instead of switching sides, even if against its national interest. Contrary to what your impression is.
The south-eastern part of Moldavia was given to Russia, in exchange with northern Dobrudja, by, the newly freed of the ottomans country, Rumania at the peace talks in Berlin after the Independence War of 1877-8. Rumania annexed eastern Moldavia (Bessarabia), previously annexed by Russia after the Russian-Ottoman War in 1812 (the ottomans ceding it illegally, as it wasn’t their territory, in the Treaty of Bucharest), including the aforementioned territory ceded to Russia, and southern Dobrudjea (Cadrilater) from Bulgaria after WW 1, creating Greater Rumania of the Interbellic Era.
Learn some history, dear Dan, before accusing others.
Ok Bram, sorry for the harsh words in the previous comment.
I see that you know history.
Cheers from US occupied Soviet East-Berlin
Maybe Romania shouldn’t have allied with Hitler and the Nazis then? If Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria had joined with Greece and Yugoslavia the maybe the Soviets wouldnt have pent rated so deep into Europe. Maybe Hitler would have been so bogged down in Eastern Europe that StaLin would have intervened but the red army wouldn’t have been able to occupy EE. Your hosting of the middle defense radar will get your country nuked to oblivion even if Russia does lose a nuclear war. You want to be cannon fodder for the CIA and pentagon????
Romania was allied with Nazi Germany during WW2. Its territory served as a staging ground for German incursions into the Soviet Union. Also, Romanian troops helped. This is why Moldavia exists. It was the price for supporting Hitler.
You have gone to Russia, together with Hitler.
It is your fault.
You should not make aggressive moves, You got punished.
You will get punished again, for your NATO AEGIS.
You will burn in nuclear fire, because you once more commit aggression and threaten Russia.
AEGIS is not a defense system at all, it can shoot any kind of cruise missiles and missiles, flying 2500km.
I am not Russian, but if I were, I would already shoot at Bucharest , Constanca, Satu Mare and other cities. I would have leveled them with a-weapons.
The arrogance of NATO is truly astounding, and they never give up with their nonsense. Russia can’t have Crimea and Eastern and Southern Ukraine but Romania is entitled to Moldova. Yippee. Keep on messing up NATO’s “democratic and humanitarian” initiatives Russia.
Yep. World’s biggest hypocrites. Assad is a monster who “kills his own people” but look at Erdogan killing Kurds, and Saudi Barbaria’s genocidal bombing of Yemen. The Western press refuses to recognize these atrocities. Kosovo has the right to secede from Serbia and Abkhazia from Georgia but Donbas and Crimea can’t leave Ukraine. Putin is a “dictator” who “crushes dissent” but look at Frau Merkel, censoring or even arresting anybody who dares suggests that Germany should protect itself from the invading Islamist hordes.
John Herbst – a former US ambassador to Ukraine, recently gave an interview to the radio station “Free Europe”, during which revealed that the members of the Atlantic Council confirmed the readiness to support the current political leadership of the Republic of Moldova, and expressed a desire to meet with Vlad Plahotniuc – the first vice-chairman of the Democratic party of Moldova (PDM). According to the former ambassador, Plahotniuc is the man who is able to have a positive impact on the future of the Republic of Moldova and the formation of democracy in the country.
We remind that in the beginning of May this year, Vlad Plahotniuc a working visit to Washington at the invitation of the Atlantic Council, which is one of the most influential analytical cents of the United States of America. First vice-chairman of the Democratic Party, met with Victoria Nuland – US Assistant Secretary of State, who said that America will support Moldova, but only if the authorities are able to maintain the pace of progress towards democracy.
Plahotniuc also met with Menno Snel – Executive Directors of the IMF, which the Moldovan politician discussed the need to reform the financial and banking sector of Moldova.’

The sides noted the positive dynamics of development of cooperation between Moldova and Qatar, it reflects a significant increase over the year the trade turnover between the two countries, which began to grow after the opening of diplomatic missions in Qatar, the Republic of Moldova.
Philip said that Moldova, because of their unenviable economic situation, is very interested in attracting foreign capital, so his country will continue to develop relations with the State of Qatar.

The Transcarpathian police held large-scale tactical and specialized drills on crowd and riot control including nearly five hundred police officers. This was reported by the press-service of the Transcarpathian police.
As reported by the police, all units of the National Police from all regions of the Transcarpathian region simulated the most realistic scenarios for liquidating mass protests at the “Shipka” polygon in Mukachevo. Law-enforcement personal were joined by bomb experts, cynologists, and the National Guard of Ukraine as well as patrol police. During the exercise, the men in uniform put out real fires on collision lines, blew up pyrotechnics, shot, and practiced tactics for detaining offenders in a crowd and seizing civilian transport on the scene of riots.
“One of the most exciting tasks was extinguishing a fire on the collision line, since firefighters worked in combat conditions. Pyrotechnics mimicking the explosions of grenades were used on site and everyone managed to cope with the difficult tasks,” the report remarked.

Scott, yet another great (and revelatory!) analysis. Thank you for all these posts. It’s the only way I would become aware of these events. Look forward to reading the book, too!
And thank you as well to Martin, JJ, Uncle Bob and others for always providing further info to keep the revelations coming. It really is a treat to read this site.
appreciate your comment!
I so agree with you! I learn so Much from this site. I rarely post, but I am in awe of the knowledge here. Thank you dear Saker for what you have created here.
@Scott: I already re-posted your top-notch 1944 article to several german blog sites last week, but although presumely “Russia-friendly” those blogs never published my forwarded comment with links to your 1944 article.
Now, finally, not your but hero Mr.Engdahls article reaches the alternative media scene in Germany, covering the same topic. This is important because Kopp has the largest alternative media readership in the entire german-language Internet share, they meanwhile have a wide reach and are really hated competition for traditional MSM:

Jamala wins Eurovision Song Contest with hymn to SS Nazi Crimean Tatars
F. William Engdahl
To me it is not about discussing the musical merits of the person who the Euro Vision Song Contest (ESC) in 2016 was supposed to win. It is obvious that the Ukrainian Jamala, itself Tartar origin, victory in this competition was fed manipulated pushed to make a political statement. As they admitted openly later, she was about demonstrating “parallels” between the actions of Stalin against the Crimean Tatars during the Second World War and the events in the Crimea in 2014 and the role of Moscow. “””””
For what it is worth.
Today (once again) the entire World is a battlefield in the empire’s war on Russia (and China). Every country in the World is part of that war. Any country falling to the empire’s control,is one lost to Russia for the future of the multi-polar World. The empire fully understands that, and so should we,and Russia (China as well). A lost country is one less vote in the UN and all other Global organizations, one more location to attack from, one less trading partner, its more resources and population to further the enemies war effort. The World of today is a giant balance sheet. And the loss and gain columns are everything. They will ,at the end of the day, determine the success or failure of the uni-polar or multi-polar World. Which is why I watch actions in the World’s nations carefully. So far in this war we haven’t gained a single one. We have lost several, and are even in a couple. But like all wars ,the “fighting” is constant in one area or the other. And its time we started realizing that our losses are unacceptable. And if they continue to mount, will be almost irreversible.Russia alone (or with China) defeating the enemies assaults and staying sovereign,is by far not enough to win this war.Every single country (and certainly every single one left from the Soviet collapse) must stay free of the empires’s control for us to even think of victory. Which is why the empire’s victory in Ukraine. And their current assault on Moldova, the Caucasus States,Central Asian Republics, and Syria (and Lebanon) are beyond important to stop (or reverse). Today we hear of “maidan” type stirrings in Kazakhstan (I doubt Belarus will be far behind),a massive terrorist attack in Syria near the Russian bases. These are all part of the war. And now the question is “what will we do”. Nothing but talk (as usual) or action to stop these assaults.
Seeing as people were battling it out in the streets of Moscow, not so long ago, I’d say we’ve come a long way.
Now, Scott and Saker hate me because I ask questions rather than going into Church and saying yes, yes yes.
Tell me then please, how the subject of today’s article fits together with Hoorayyy, we have Yalta-2.0 ??
And looking at Syria, the next good news from Yalta-2.0 (or is it already 3.0?)
Over 100 feared killed as blasts hit near Russian military bases in Syria’s Latakia province (VIDEO)
https://www.rt.com/news/344052-syria-latakia-jableh-explosions/
Martin and Uncle Bob,
Martin, I have just presented you with a proof that NATO invasions can easily be deterred by unarmed people.
This is the Yalta-2 in action. The US and NATO try to beef up it’s worth in Europe before they retreat entirely and forever.
/waiting-for-yalta-2-or-what-the-kerry-lavrov-pact-brings-to-the-table-by-scott/
And… Uncle Bob, all the US and its allies can do now is murdering civilians on bus stops and hospitals, like today in Syria. They can’t start a world war, they can’t militarily invade countries.
Their “democracy” narration is completely discredited.
They offer nothing to “newcomers,” but huge national debts and obligatory gay pride parades.

But you get them not before the day when it they really peacefully leave.
Is it the heat?
They have 85% of Ukraine under their control (not totally, but still they control it). They are making moves in Moldova and now starting in Kazakhstan. They have a large voice in Georgia, and now through Turkey, in Azerbaijan. And are starting problems in Central Asia. They have NATO troops (and supplies) permanently now in the Baltic States, and are almost there in Poland. They have opened up the idea, and are working towards it.Of Sweden and Finland joining NATO (the fact that “so far” they haven’t ,in no way means they may in the not so distant future). They just took Montenegro into NATO (and now surround, and are working on Serbia and Bosnia. They put the missile “defense” base in Romania and have one scheduled for Poland. As well as the movement of more nukes into Europe. They are on the upswing in Syria,to split the country. And Turkey ,used as a “bad cop” is causing a lot of trouble. They just seized control of Brazil, right after taking over Argentina. And are working on Cuba (without success so far,but still trying),Venezuela,Ecuador, and Bolivia. They are trying (with limited success, but still trying )to split India from Russia and China. And are trying to “make nice” with Vietnam. They’ve got Japan to openly support them militarily for the first time (even changing the constitution to do it). Even with “all the big talk” from Europeans about ending the sanctions the EU said they would be extended ,no matter what some countries want. And today they rigged the election in Austria to defeat a candidate who might have turned out pro-Russian. All the above I’ve reported can be found in multiple stories over the months from RT (I get little information from the Western media these last couple of years). An interesting scoreboard for people who ” offer nothing to “newcomers,” but huge national debts and obligatory gay pride parades.”. Its not the people they care to offer anything to. Its the elites and oligarchs that they offer something to.We must to survive, reverse that litany of disasters.I stand by what I said. The World’s nations are in play. And each one that falls to the empire,is one more lost to the multi-polar World. And a win for the uni-polar hegemon.
As a sidenote to Martin: (We were right about Hofer losing. And he didn’t,of course, fight it. Its important to realize how he lost as well. Its a tactic the empire will continue to use, since it worked so well this time. When you allow ex-pats to vote in your home elections ,you give those who have “left their country” the ability to control those remaining in the country. Those Austrians outside Austria have no concerns about the lives and difficulties of those inside the country. An Austrian living in the US,UK,France,Germany, etc,is concerned with their lives where they live. And shouldn’t be able to determine the fate of the people at home in their “former” home. The hegemon now knows the perfect trick to rig votes in the EU. And you can be sure they will use it again.)
Hi UB, tnx for repeating and summarizing this.
Well – that’s nicely written. And if somebody says NATO is leaving Europe – then, forgive me if I start laughing like some insane in his cell.
Yes – fully agreed about the exile’s votes.
And there is more: The Empire also adds the opposite form of this: While reading comments at http://www.krone.at I noticed, that in Vienna the number of voring persons sank in 5 years (!) from 2010 to 2015 by 1500 voters, but increased in 6 months by 10 000 voters (Vienna alone), according to the offiacial statistics.
This looks (if they didn’t invent persons, which is also possible) as if they permitted migrant newcomers to also participate.
So this is double fraud.
After I hung at the computer during this counting and during the Scottland referendum, I really have not even such a 50/50 hope anymore for Brexit. Netherlands referendum really surprised me. But it won’t happen ever again. Not even although it was non-binding anyway.
Well Yalta 2 is under way.
Maybe I should start to take drugs, maybe then I have enough phantasy to see it happening.
But ok, first I will follow Mart on May 23, 2016 · at 8:45 pm UTC ‘s advice to get started with that Russian forum there. Athough to me it sounds a bit like “We saw a UFO, 100%”.
GROZNY, May 23. / TASS /. Montenegro itself does not represent a military threat to Russia but its accession to NATO will boost the military-political potential of the North Atlantic Alliance, Deputy Secretary of Russian Security Council Yevgeny Lukyanov told reporters on Monday.
“I never knew that Montenegro presented a threat to Russia. However, its accession to NATO will probably boost the military-political potential of this organization,” Lukyanov said.
“This (accession to NATO) is (Montenegro’s) personal matter, it’s their personal choice. It’s up to them to decide on this. If they think that this will benefit their national security, then this is so,” he added.
Answering a question on Russia’s reaction to deployment of US missile defense system in Romania, Lukyanov noted: “There will be a response to every threat.”
Last week Russia’s Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic alliance Alexander Grushko said Montenegro’s accession to NATO will deepen even more the dividing lines in Europe. “It’s not the first expansion of the Alliance, and, of course, not a single round of expansion has improved our relations with countries that decided to join NATO,” Grushko told Russian journalists on Friday evening after a two-day meeting of NATO’s Foreign Ministers.

NATO’s foreign ministers on Thursday signed in Brussels the Accession Protocol for Montenegro. From that moment on, Montenegro received the functions of an observer in the North Atlantic Council, and after the ratification, which, according to assessments by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, may take about a year, the country will become a full-fledged 29th member of the alliance.

Moldova is Romania. They speak Romanian. One million have Romanian passports . Another million left the country and works abroad.
I like this blog but on this issue, scott is wrong. I was there and saw how the events went on
1) the US had valid id and valid governmental agreement
2) there was little public opposition to the us military presence in Chisinau, in fact a lot of Russian speakers (more than Romanian speakers) came to see as a curiosity the US army . and it was quite friendly atmosphere.
3) the anti American protests were organized by the opposition and went on quite peacefully with no animosity and no tension. The film on you tube cover a very short portion of the event
4) there is no plan for the US or Romania to invade Moldova as it perfectly suits the strategic interests of both countries to have a buffer zone
5) there is no such thing as Moldovan patriots. The pro Russian Moldovan patriots movement run by Dodon speak Russian and support Moldovan soviet fantasy,in Russian.
@andrei:
Check the facts.
> Another million left the country and works abroad.
Exactly, as written by Scott.
Do you have a clue how many of them work in the Russian Federation?
Do you have a clue how the postal-letter vote gets rigged every time (simply they made it very difficult to participate in the election) only to prevent the pro-Russian votes from getting counted?
I’m speaking about mainland Moldova, not even PMR.
And still: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moldovan_parliamentary_election,_2014
“””””The pro-Russian Socialist Party (PSRM), composed of former communists, emerged as the winner of the 2014 elections and the strongest party in Parliament, gaining 20.51% of votes.”””””
Now, how can you demand proof (which was in fact provided by Scott this time), while yourself making wild claims without backing them whatsoever?
Err, maybe somebody else has the patience to write you, I don’t.
Last question: Did you read the wikipedia links I sent above?
Or the ethnic graphics?
Many if not most Molovans speak both languages btw, as you could see on the Kishnew video.
One of the most pro-Russian parties was banned from being part of the election last time, only 1 or 2 days before voting.
Allegedly because of “russian finaniciers”.
They do what they can to keep Moldova what you call “Romanian”. But it is a double-split country, literally.
What the hell is Transnistria and why does Putin want it:

@andrei:
And now let’s have a look at the _other_ (better!!!) Moldova:

Does that look verrry Romanian?
Even those who do hold Romanian passports (a big passport-mafia there), why do you think do they do?
Because of feeling spiritually and patriotically as ethnic Romanians or to travel across the EU and buy materialistic trash? The Eastern-European highways are literally full of these trading nomades.
What do you think why so many Arabs, Turks and Balkan people from Bosnia, Kosovo and where ever hold German passports ? Because Afrika == Balkans == Turkey == Germany?
No, the EU is celebrated like a religion there.
gerMONey …
Says less about the relationship Moldova-Romania.
50% of the population maybe, yes. But not all.
so many ukrainians have been buying Latvian passports apparently to go to Germany.
The only good communist platform in all of “Germany” nowadays:

Martin,
I have started understanding the source of your frustration in regard to “Yalta-2.” You assumed that the agreement has been signed, but it’s just being negotiated. My post is called “Waiting for Yalta – 2,” to emphasize that it’s something still developing.
That’s why we see so much frantic US military activity via NATO in Europe. Washington regime tries to invade more and more countries.
In the long run, those countries remaining under the Washington regime’s heel will suffer economically and culturally the most, compare to those countries joining Russia, China, and Eurasia in general.
Scott,
thank you for your extra response.
Please understand that my imagination finds it difficult to still believe in such things.
Life taught me to be pessimistic and desparate.
And like Cassandra (the ancient one, not here [which is often a bit wrong]) I’m sadly mostly correct with my evil predictions.
ioan confirmed this yesterday, because I predicted the Austria outcome one month ago 100% as 49.9 to 50.1:

If wonders happen, then the better it would be. My writings don’t meant I’m against it. They simply mean I lost the rest of my last hope.
> That’s why we see so much frantic US military activity via NATO in Europe.
You must admit that the entire story demands much belief and sounds a bit like a complex set of contradictions.
But ok, we will see.
I wish I’m wrong finally.
We need peace for PMR!
Martin:
You were totally correct, the election in Austria was a total setup. They were never going to allow a nationalist to actually win. I hope he calls for mass protests, and a statistical, scientific recount of the votes. Although, I doubt this will happen. For some reason our side never seems to learn the lessons from the “color revolutions”. Sometimes you need to use the enemies tactics against them.
Tnx, here more: /moveable-feast-cafe-2016-05-21/#comment-239919
Scott, to ask a a stupid question: is there any chance that we citizens (sigh :-) could ask our govts to start talking openly about this?
Hi S113, simple: Take a machine guns and a batallion of tanks, visit your local gov representative during public opening hours and draw a waiting number, then wait until your number gets called .
Hi Martin, that is hilarious. Although probably true. Anyway, I will hold that picture in my mind whenever I wonder how get answers from the govt. I myself will be suitably clothed in rounds of ammunition, black T-shirt, cargo pants. And sunglasses! Putin style sunglasses!! At least I’ll get to laugh while wondering exactly what the govt is signing us all up for…
from RT:
Rousseff impeachment efforts are a bid to stop oil corruption probe – leaked tapes
Secret phone recordings between Brazil’s planning minister and the former president of Transperto have revealed that the minister suggested a “change” in the government to “stop the bleeding” caused by an investigation into Petrobras.
Dear Scott,
I am very happy to see you mentioning V.V. Pyakin.
I use to see his weekly QAs for some years now. He is extremelly well informed and always spot on.
If only we have the resource to translate for english subtitles.
I would be also grateful to The Saker to share more about KOB platform and FCT on this site.
Their conceptual knowledge is exacty what is needed for the people in the west.
Dear Martin from SEB- try to access these people and learn, soon you will find many answers. Good luck!

Hi Mart, tnx, I can check.
But as said in my most recent comment to UB.
Hi Mart,

SMH! Does NATO never stop? Everyone sees what they are doing and knows what they are trying to accomplish. Obama is desperate to remain in office, suspend the election and continue the destruction of America, Christianity, and Middle Class citizens…one way to do that is to be at war. God bless Russia, her people and her President and all those who keep their eye on NATO and its dirty actions.
Scott’s last item, “an American colonel who acts like a new owner of a colony of Moldova and is entitled to command local aboriginals “to get lost” is the US military attaché to Republic of Moldova, LTC Joseph Bilbo” with the link, is the punchline, says it all…
I am perfectly willing to believe that the US (my country, sadly) would be delighted to invade and seize Moldova (or any other small, defenseless country) and use it for its own evil purposes.
However, the videos do not show what the author says they show. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Subtitles might have helped.
Sorry, but I can corroborate this story nowhere, but all the elements are in place.

Jack and Fecund Stench
I left out my investigation of an incident with the USS Florida and translations for these videos.
It would take another 20 pages.
It’s all going to be in my book.
Essentially, Joseph Bilbo says to a retired Lieutenant of Moldovan Army that he is bothering people and disturbing peace and that he has to vacate the premises of the Victory Day celebration.
The lieutenant, who is a politician, tells to this American attaché that Moldova is his native country, that his grandfathers fought against Hitler, and this is his celebration, and that no American can tell him what to do.
This clip has become hugely popular in Russia, Moldova and beyond.
LTC Joseph Bilbo has become a symbol of sort of an American military invader, who is ignorant and abusive towards nations the US invades.

ah, publicising a new book….like the ex NATO General in uk publicising a book saying Rus will start ww3 next year?
Trouble is, so many Russians hold Gorbachev as a traitor and responsible for the collapse in 1991.This might prejudice what he is actually saying.
Just another unsuccessful 5th column-mediated western propaganda attempt. Who cares what this miserable little traitor has to “say”…
Had he been “accidented” early enough, without exaggeration more than ten million lives around the globe could have been rescued, and I believe that number is too low.
Somebody like Gorbachev was only possible, because he was literally surrounded by companian traitors.
They sold out China and the Soviet Union to the devil, due to their own most primitive greed.

However – for punishing somebody it is never enough for as long as he keeps wasting air.
Somebody should stop him.
In the past civilised societies had the nice culture to bring such people to justice!
But in today’s times nothing works anymore.
Sad that the August 1991 coup was a too little late too helpless attempt and was not properly done.
Much as I wished Uncle Bob were wrong I do have to agree with him that the Empire is winning the day. Having followed politics for many years I sense a sort of rush on the Empire’s part to conquer what little is left of the free thinking world. The explanation in my modest opinion lies in the use of negative character traits that naturally exist in some persons like greed and immorality. After carefully choosing such persons the Empire promotes them to positions of local power and bribes them with cheap paper dollars/euros. If they don’t toe the line blackmail them using for example the work of spying agencies. These new-money lower ranked local elites can then pull strings to avoid referendums on adhering to NATO and EU, can bribe local media to support such initiatives etc. In case these compradors and their cronies do not reach the critical mass some ‘spontaneous’ and ‘peaceful’ protests are organized or the ‘civilized world’ decides the ‘international community’ must intervene militarily.
Bottom line: the use of the dirtiest tricks, the never ending stream of paper dollars, the rigged elections, false flag ops, MSM lies, fake market economy, military buildup, useful naive idiots still believing in the American Dream, the zombification of the population in every country will most probably break the back of the last few countries (Russia, China, Iran) trying hard to be honest and still seeking independence. I am a pessimist and think the alternative would be WW3. Something must happen and soon otherwise I don’t know why the rush of the Empire to enslave the remnants of the neutral world. Is Devil stronger than God ?
Agreed, NATO will manipulate any character trait found in humanity to further their agenda, and NATO is conquering what little is left of the free thinking world. But so what, Russia is the biggest and most resource rich country in the world, with enough armata tanks, artillery and nuclear missiles Russia can survive anything.
And Russia is not even alone, Russia can hopefully depend on the most human resource rich county in the world, China. An alliance with so many resources at their disposal can provide unlimited resistance. Then there is also Iran and India and who knows what other countries’ allegiance to consider. War is a natural human trait, neither Russia nor China will kneel to anyone, so its viva WW3 baby. But Nato can’t take the loses that Russia and China won’t even blink about so Nato won’t cross the line, maybe. Nato will just bitch, threaten, scheme and whine until their lands are taken over by the Muslims in Europe and by the Mexicans and other Latinos in North America. Its what you call the last few kicks of the dying horse.

I understand history gives pause to trusting Russia for the Balkan countries.
Sadly by turning to the so called West they are now allied with the same atrocious undemocratic EU that runs exactly like the Soviet Republic did.
One would expect the Balkan states to SEE this, but no they are as blind as a bat!!! They should feel right at home in the undemocratic EU politics.
That the EU can sell the EU as democratic to the western countries I understand but to fool all the ex Soviet countries I did not expect that. Well they deserve to be foolish and be robbed of any dignity and be betrayed by NATO and USA. Utter poverty awaits as all in the EU at least most of the Balkan citizens remember standing in line for bread. Westerners will be more shocked but will adapt or die.
Not all Balkan countries are the same. Serbs would welcome Russians. Montenegrians, Macedoniers and Bulgars, also. Greeks too.
Thanks for bringing together the odd shenanigans in the Straits of Gibraltar and the attempt to move masses of US armor into Moldova on Victory Day. Not only does Nuland pressage destruction but the USS Florida too.
Sounds like the mouse that roared! And LTC Bilbo might consider changing his name!

Want you to know that although this story is a complete blackout in the West, at least one news site carried the story from your site and people are spreading the word about this disgraceful action. This is not a representation of the wishes of the American People, it is not approved of nor considered a civil act by law abiding peoples. God be with you all, and together we shall prevail over the evil which now corrupts the hearts and minds of those who pretend to be patriots here in American and around the world.
Harold Pinter, “never happened …Nothing ever happened. Even while it was happening it wasn’t happening. It didn’t matter. It was of no interest. It didn’t matter … “. Pinter expressed a mock admiration for what he called “a quite clinical manipulation of power worldwide while masquerading as a force for universal good. It’s a brilliant, even witty, highly successful act of hypnosis.”
Thus more stuff we never hear about in our mainstream media. We are screwed.
As much as I’d like to believe the Anglo/Zionists are finally finding their match, I think the article is over-optimistic, by a long shot. It’s always like that: Russia and China are reacting, always reacting, never initiating anything. So, the Nuland Nazis lost one in Moldova, perhaps. But they will win at the end, because Russia and China don’t have the wisdom to realize they are at war, take off their gloves, and FIGHT back. Unless this changes, they–and freedom the world over–are doomed.
The so called “moldavian patriots” shown in this videos are actually russian military.
I am not hiding myself I am from Romania. I live 19 year under the comunism law and a listen to a lot of rusian propaganda. After 1989 I listen a lot of american propaganda bullshit. Now after 30 year of amator history reading I can tell a few things:
– Basarabia is actually the eastern half of Moldavia
– from ancient times to medieval middle age Basarabia (and Moldavia) was populated by dacians and from time to time was step over by diferent migratory people
– western part of dacians was conquered by romans and in time all dacians embrace latin language (later from East Roman Empire) and became vlachs aka wallachians aka Walachen aka oláh aka воло́хи aka valaques aka valacchi )
– Principality of Moldavia was established in 1359 from Carpathians to Nipru river
– after 453 year in 1812 the Otoman empire give Basarabia to Rusia. Basarabia was not a otoman property but who care. Two superpower stole some land from a weak country. Until 1812 Rusia have nothing to do with Basarabia was inhabited in majority by valahs (moldavians) witch speak romanian. Suddenly after 1812 Basarabia became a rusian teritory from Adam and Eve times. Imagine that?!?!.
– In 1918 after Rusia colapse a referendum was held in Basarabia and people voted to unite with Romania. (Romania is Moldavia+Valahia+Transilvania – dacians teritory)
– in 26 iunie 1940 Romania receive an ULTIMATUM from Rusia. Romania have to evacuate Basarabia. Romania ask Rusia to negotiate and talk about situation
– in 27 iunie 1940 Rusia send a second ultimatum threatning Romania with war. Romania evacuate Basarabia. Rusia ocupy Basarabia and in one year kill and deported more then 100.000 people. Maresal Zuhov write about spoils of war taken from Basarabia. Rusian soldiers kill romanian border guards. Actualy about one month earlier rusia warplains already flew over Basarabia for intimidation.
– Rusia blame Romania that for the “vile” atack on 22 iunie 1941 Operation Barbarosa. Actually in 1941 Romania war already for more then one year “in war” with Rusia (URSS if you care) over invazion of Basarabia in 1940.
Is not OK when again a strong state (Rusia) take by force land and people from a weaker one (Romania).
Rusia stole Basarabia from Romania twice by brute force. First time with otoman complicity and second time just simply take what he want like a bully.
You will need to study again your history. But not through Romanian nationalist textbooks. Up until the later Middle Ages there was almost no one in Moldova. That territory had earlier been occupied by a mix of peoples,Slavs as well as Vlachs. In fact Romanian DNA (especially that of people from Moldova/Moldavia show 40% as Slavic. But after that period the Moldovan part was almost vacant. The constant Tatar and Ottoman raiding over the centuries forced people to not settle there. After Russia gained the territory (which most of the people that were there were happy about. Being freed “finally” from the Ottomans). They opened the lands up for mass settlement. Since the Moldavian region was so close. Many peasants from there moved into Moldova. As well as Slavs from the Rus lands,German settlers given land by the Tsars, and many Jews from Western Russia (Ukraine). All of those, joining the few mostly Vlach people that were there.During the Russian revolution Romanian troops invaded Moldova taking advantage of the fighting during the revolution. They staged a “referendum” under Romanian occupation. Which no one except in Romania would call a “fair vote” today.During the years they ruled the area they did nothing to develop it.And it was notoriously the poorest region in Romania. And the non-Romanians not driven out had no rights.Russia (the USSR) did force Romania to return those lands they had seized ,in 1940. But Romania was not “at war” with the USSR until they sided with Hitler in 1941. Had they been at war with the USSR as you’ve said, before then. The USSR would have taken over all Romania. The fact they didn’t is clear proof they weren’t at war.The Romanians during the war took back Moldova. And vast other areas including Odessa. Which they planned to steal, and were they conducted a reign of terror killing many people. When the Germans were almost defeated Romania sent word to Stalin they wanted to “switch sides” and fight for the allies against Germany. Hoping to not suffer retribution for the crimes they committed while allies of the nazis.Of course they were forced to return the lands the Germans let them have (including Moldova).
Uncle Bob. You need to separate facts from wishes.
1) i realy wish you to “prove” that Rusia has any legal rights to Basarabia before 1812 when the sultan and the tzar stole Basarabia from Moldavia (a small country). Basarabia was not an otoman land and not a rusian land. Again, please prove that before 1812 rusia has any right over Basarabia.
2)Moldovia was founded in 1359 and for about 450 year ruled over Basarabia.
Before Moldovia Basarabia was under Walahia rule (still romanian people) for about 50 years.
3)It is right that in romanian DNA is a lot of slavic traces. So what?!!!? I never claimed that in Moldovia right to the Nipru was 100% latin blood and from Nipru to Moscow is 100% slavic blood. Is always a mix. But in Moldova dacian+roman blood (aka vlah aka romania) was a majority and slavic was a minority. An for your knoledge in Ucraine from Nipru to Don where a lot of roumanian people but the majority was slavic.
So: Moldovia slavic minority, roumanian majority = Ucraina (Nipr-Don) slavic majority, roumanian minority.
Rusia have no right to Basarbia before 1812 when they stole the land in coterie with muslims invader which beside does not give them any legal right over Basarabia.
You say that Basarabia was nearly empty of people and thas the firsth one to colonize the land were rusians? This is so ridiculos beyond word. Basarabia was not a heavy populated area (ok) but was faaar faaar from being empty. Dream on. Ask any historian.
Actually rusian cronicles write about brodnic and bolohoveni two kinds of valahian (romanian not slavic) people who lived in Moldova area before creation of Moldavian state.
You say that the popular vote in 1918 was staged?! What popular vote was held by rusian in 1812 or 1940. NONE. Just take all by brute force.
Rusian army in 1940 killed roumanian border guard soldiers, civilians, burn ,destroy and loot and you say it is no war, roumanian ask for talks and in respons where threaten with full invazion and you say that everything was ok? They don’t even let roumanian enogh time to evacuate. Roumanian were forced to leave everything and run or be shoot. You are funny.
You say that Basarabia was the poorest region of Roumania. It is true. But why? Because was ocupied and trashed by rusian for 100 years (1812-1918). The 100 year of rusian ocupation make basarabia allmoust an african teritory. You want that in 20 year Roumania to repair everything Rusia broke in 100 year? When rusia make Basarabia un economical power in 100 years of ocupation? Never actually. You blame somebody elce for your mistakes??
I give one example. East Germany not even today is equal with western part of Germany. 40 year of rusian (by proxy) ocupation destroy the country. Now why don’t you use the same broken logic and blame western germany because the eastern part is the poorest.
There are a lot of things to say but is tacking to long. Non-roumanian have no rights??!! Can you prove anything you say?
“During the Russian revolution Romanian troops invaded Moldova taking advantage of the fighting during the revolution. They staged a “referendum” under Romanian occupation. Which no one except in Romania would call a “fair vote” today.During the years they ruled the area they did nothing to develop it.”
During the Ucrainean revolution Rusian troops invaded Crimea taking advantage of the fighting during the revolution. They staged a “referendum” under Rusian occupation (little green soldiers). Which no one except in Rusia would call a “fair vote” today. During the years they ruled the area they did nothing to develop it.”
By the way. Ask any historian but in 1917 -1918 in time of rusian totaly chaotic and bloody revolution rusian soldiers kill, loot, steal and destroy everything they could get in Basarabia. Basarabian authorities out of despair call the roumanin army to protect them. Basarabian authorities where elected by people BEFORE any roumanian souldier put a foot in Basarabia.
By the way I belive that Crimeea belong to Rusia (rusian people are o majority there) but Basarabia belong to Roumania (roumanian people are and were o majority there even after Stalin deportation and execution).
Its “convenient” that you leave out the fascist “Iron Guard” period during WWII. But in answer to a few of your other comments .
1. A map of the region showing it under Russian rule during the early Middle Ages. Long before there was ever a Romanian State: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4e/Kievan-rus-1015-1113-%28en%29.png.
2.There is a big dispute as to who those early peoples you mention were. With most non-Romanian historians saying they were Slavic, or mixed tribes at best. That over time were Romanianized. From the days of the Cuman raids through the Tatars and then the Ottomans, settlement was very parse in that area.
3.The Modavian state ,ruled as a autonomous part of the Ottoman Empire ruled most of it for a while. Though the Southern area was directly ruled by the Ottomans at various times. The Ottomans didn’t present the area to Russia as a “gift”. It was ceded to Russia in peace negotiations through war.It wasn’t until almost 50 years after that there was a Romanian State to begin with. And that State was only allowed to be created because of Russian defeats of the Ottomans.Romanians took advantage of that to break their bounds to the Ottomans and unite Moldavia and Wallachia into “Romania”.
4.Romania before WWI was notorious for the poverty of its people. And the corruption was among the highest in Europe. That didn’t change until after WWII as well. So to say the Romanians were shocked by Moldova’s condition under Russian rule is a joke. The only parts of Romania that were anywhere near at European standards at that time were the lands annexed from Hungary after WWI and Bucharest itself.Political leaders in the 1920’s and 1930’s did nothing positive in Moldova. Just as they did little to nothing in Moldavia and Wallachia (outside Bucharest).
5. The Romanian takeover in Moldova is nothing at all like the Russian reintegration of Crimea. Among many other reasons being that “Romania” as a state had never had Moldova to start with.Unlike with Crimea that had been part of Russia for hundreds of years before given over to Ukraine.
Reply to Bob:
1) Do you look at your map? In that map is written very clearly on Basarabian teritory :”Lands dependent on Rus”. Do you understand what means “dependent”? Is a medieval map, in that time most of land were dependent of a stronger state. The term ” vassalage ” ring a bell?
Basarabian teritory was under “vassalage” of o stonger force most of his time: roman, bizantin, a lot of migratory people, ucrainean, cazac, turc, polish, soviet, tartar etc. etc. etc. but the people who lived there where a majority valah (rumanian). When actually rumanian invaded Basarabia an kill the indigen population and became a majority? Never, there is nothing like this in any history book because rumanian where allways a majoriy there.
2) yes , there is a dispute. A dispute between stalinist historian and the rest of the world. Yes, was sparce populated area. Much less populated when compared with France but more populated when compared with Rusia and Siberia. Sparce populated give some how any legal right to rusian over basarabia. Siberia is very sparce populated. Roumania have any legal right
3) Moldavia was a stat, it has his own army, fortress, nobility, borders, laws, religion (ortodox christian not muslim) etc. etc. and a king (a prince if you want which have to ask approval from sultan) and pay tribute to otoman empire. It was a vassal state to Otoman empire as were many other in medieval time. But Moldavia and thus Basarabia was not a otoman property. Turcs have no legal right to give Basarabia to Rusia. Tribut means Moldavia pay for protection. Moldavia pay money to the Otoman and Otoman in return for that money promise to protect Moldavia state borders. Basarabia was moldavian land under otoman protection and was not otoman property.
I hope you finally understand.
4) So you say that Basarabia was a booming economy under rusia and have a very high level of living and under roumanian rule became the poorest land in Europe? Hilarious. Unlike you I can recognize the truth and admited. Basarabia was poor under rusia and remain poor under roumania. The problem is that all this discussion is pointless. You keep talking about Basarabia been poor. So what? That give any legal right to rusia to take it? Sicilia is the poorest region of Italy that did not give any right to Rusia over Sicilia. You amaze me with your broken logic.
Actually roumanian and basarabian were shocked by rusian rule. Example: Basarabia have many forest and rusia lack wood. Siberia was to far. So rusia chop almost all the Basarabian forest. For example Odessa use mainly basarabiand wood to pass winter. And they do not plant any tree to replace what they cut.
5) You say that Roumania as a state had never had Moldova to start with? From what history book you are reading that absurdity?
Roumania state apear when Moldova state and Valachia state merged together (after a popular aproval) and became one state. Moldavia was half or Roumania in that time. The first king of Roumania was a moldovian Alexandru Ioan Cuza.
Germany apear when hundreds of small germanic states were united in 1871 and finally Germany state apear. After your broken logic because a Germani state did not exist before 1871 thas Germany have less rights over Berlin then Rusia who have soldiers in germanic state before Germany state apear.
Italia state apear around 1866 and thus Italy have no right over Milan or Torino. I guess Rusia have more rights over that teritory. After all rusian troups under Suvorov were there 80 year early. So after your logic Rusia could claime Italy because was no Italian state when rusian soldiers occupy parts of Italy.
You see how absurd is everything if you use soviet logic and history.
Your main problem is that in all east european state nobody need any history books. We all have parents and grandparents who personally lived under rusian ocupation. I have 2 grandparents who fought in world war II and they knew rusians personally. I do not need you to tell me how it was from your history book. I have a living history book. And it not speak good things about rusia. not from me and not from poland, hungarian, slovacian, czech, ucrainean etc.
I think maybe you misunderstand what vassalage and dependence meant in the Middle Ages.It meant if the master Kingdom said jump ,”you ask how high”. As for Moldavia and Wallachia ruling themselves. Have you read about the Phanariotes. Each time a Prince in those states died (or the Ottoman Sultan had him removed or killed) the Sultan appointed a new Prince. They usually offered the job to whoever was rich enough to pay a large bribe for the job.The Prince would make the money back by stealing and looting the tax revenue. Many of those Princes were Greeks from the Phanar area of Constantinople, not even Romanian. If you look at the ancestry of many of the Boyar nobility in Romania you’ll find they are descended from those Greek Princely families. When a land is your vassal. The law is what you say it is. And the Ottomans said they could give it to Russia. But also all Southern Moldova at the time wasn’t just a vassal, but direct Ottoman territory. So they were totally free to give it away if they wanted too.The ethnicity of the population of a land meant nothing back then.
I never said that those lands were rich under the Russians. What I said was they weren’t richer under the Romanians. You seemed to claim otherwise. As I see it,you as a Romanian nationalist will never admit historical truth. Which puts you in the same category of the Ukrainian nationalists. That also refuse to admit historical facts that don’t favor them.I’m a person that believes in historical fact. Whether it favors my side or not.Which means I have little understanding for those that refuse for national reasons to accept the truth. I think it is a good idea to end our conversation now. I’m getting tired of arguing with someone that can’t/won’t accept historical truth.
I want to put a twist in our exchange of reply.
First I understand that Nato is after Rusia and you feel under siege. And probably you are right to think so. This is why you put everything in black or white. But you are wrong. In real world are many shade or grey.
Belive it ot not but I am on Rusia side. Why? Because the world SUA is creating (pedofily, homosexuality, feminism, geo-engineering, globalism, ateism, political corectness, bank debt forever, distruction of the ideea of family, nations, religion, traditions etc.) is much worse than Rusia world (poverty and coruption).
So rusia is the bad guy but americans are worse.
Where I thing you make a mistake (if you care to listen) is to take all the horrible comunists were doing to the world and to the rusian people and take it on you. Actualy in 1918 rusia was conquered not by an invasion and an army but by the Wall-street bankers and comunism tricks who with a new ideology fool the people and put a new ruling elite wich was in majority not rusian and actually was antirusian.
If you read me I already recognized that Basarabia is and was partialy slavic (my self included), that was sparsely populate, vasal (not slave or property) of powerfull state, very poor and a lot of other thing. The only problem for you is that nothing of this give you any rights over Basarabia.
You do not want to recognize any small mistake from rusian side (rusian are still people and they make mistake). You are about to lose even suporters like me be because you keep saing things completely wrong. Like the fact that Moldavia have nothing to do with Romania.
Romania was formed when Moldavia people and Valahia people voted (voted in semi-medieval style) to come together. Basarabia people voted to came to Romania. Transilvania people voted to came to Romania. Bucovina people voted to came to Romania.
Romania is not going to ocupy Basarabia if the people do not voted for us. Actually there are a lot of roumanians who do not want basarabia back.
I hope you resist to americans and after that , after you go out of siege mentality, to have a real dialog.
I do thank you for all those details from home . Can only pray . Many candles !… They’ve been taking our beautiful women telling them to become “waitresses” to whore in Bosnia , now in Kosovo for the Nato etc. mercenaries . They steal our state revenue those Valachian Zapzaraps and ZioU$UK banksters . We Russian , Romanian, Gagautz, Armenian, Bulgarian etc. live and lived here very well. Any Nato tank or Vallachian imperialist shall henceforth be blown up !!! The invaders may eject their parachutes over NWGreenland (is still Denmark, hey !) Nato to hell !
