Hillary Clinton, Queen of Chaos, Queen of War, Golden Goldman Girl, for all practical purposes is by now the official bipartisan candidate of US neocons and neoliberalcons alike.
Certified add-ons include Wall Street; selected hedge funds; TPP cheerleaders; CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) interventionists; media barons; multinational corporate hustlers; in fact virtually the whole exceptionalist US establishment, duly underwritten by the bipartisan, mega-wealthy 0.0001%.
That does leave Donald J. Trump in the astonishing position of egomaniac billionaire outsider who somehow dreams he can game the whole system on his own, moved by his inexhaustible chutzpah. It’s under this dynamic that Trump has been demonized with medieval fervor by US corporate media. His non-stop motormouth – and motortweet – certainly does not help, conveying the impression he’s in the business of antagonizing multitudes non-stop. For the establishment, his billions mean nothing; he’s treated like a bum. He may be impervious to empathy; on the other hand that kind of treatment keeps earning him widespread sympathy among the angry, semi-destitute, non-college educated white masses.
A US industrial renaissance?
Underneath all this sound and fury, something else is (quietly) going on. Powerful business interests discreetly supporting Trump – and away from the media circus — are convinced he’s got the road map to victory. The question is whether he may be able to tame his erratic behavior to seal the deal.
His key message, according to these backers, must revolve around the destruction of US industries by rigged currencies, and the “destruction of the wages of American workers by importing illegal cheap labor from dollar-a-day wage nations.”And that comes with an all-important military angle as a surefire selling point. As Trump’s backers outline it, “the Pacific Ocean cannot be used for transporting the vital and essential components of our military industrial complex, for in the event of war with Russia or China their advanced silent submarines equipped with advanced anti-ship weapons will block all of our ocean transport, collapsing our military industrial production in any war with catastrophic consequences. These component factories for Intel and others must be repatriated at once through currency adjustments or tariffs.”
So Trump should hammer the message that all new bank credit must be tied to rebuilding destroyed US industries, “either by ending currency rigging or applying tariffs.” Bank credit, Trump backers argue, “should not be used for currency manipulation, or for cash settlement market rigging. There should be no bank credit for speculation and absolutely none for hedge funds. Let’s wipe these speculative vehicles out by huge taxes on short-term trading profits, ending tax concessions on borrowing, and ending all bank credit for speculation. Let these people go to do real work.”
That, in a nutshell, explains Wall Street’s visceral aversion to Trump – from the Bloombergs to the Lloyd Blankfeins. Anyone familiar with Wall Street knows every market, commodity and indexes are rigged by cash settlement manipulations. As a New York-based Trump backer puts it, “This alone is sufficient reason to support Donald J. Trump. We should make the Carl Icahans and George Soroses do real work by taxing away their speculative profits. We need Henry Fords in this nation who create and build industries, and not Wall Street looters, where they rig everything as in 2008 then used their political power over bought politicians for bailouts, after throwing tens of millions of American out of their homes.”According to this road map, which is already on Trump’s desk – but no one knows whether he read it in full, or will implement it – fighting illegal immigration and rigged currencies side by side would create nothing less than an industrial renaissance in the US to rebuild the devastated Detroits. Essentially, the road map calls for replacing millions of illegal immigrants with millions of unemployed US citizens; Trump’s backers consider the real unemployment rate to be a whopping 23% today, based on the 1955 Bureau of Labor Statistical Methodology, “and not the rigged statistics of today.”
The bottom line is this road map calls for Trump, if elected, to create a cross-party, or trans-party coalition – as once happened in the House and Senate when Jesse Helms on one side and John Conyers and Chuck Schumer on the other side actually did real business.
This all implies Trump should become well versed in the national economy ideas of Friedrich List – whose tariff-protected Zollverein League was essentially the founding method of Prussia to build the German nation.
Some of the above has already filtered out in Trump’s announced economic agenda. Now comes the hard part for a man with an exceedingly short attention span who gets into the groove by tweets and sound bites; to coherently sell the plan without picking up unnecessary fights along the way.
But Vlad has already won it anyway
And then there’s the all-enveloping “Russian aggression” hysteria. Hillary went as far as equating President Putin to Hitler. Trump insists he’s ready to do business with Moscow – starting with a joint operation to end ISIS/ISIL/Daesh for good.
Why bother? The Stupidity-o-Meter as applied to US mainstream media has gone on interstellar overdrive anyway – as the presidential election winner has already been christened: it’s – who else? – the omniscient Vladimir Putin.
A business source familiar with the designs of the real Masters of the Universe cuts seriously to the chase: “As far as Russia is concerned, the issue is decided from above, and that is where the battle has been. The decision is above Hillary and Donald, and Hillary will be ordered to create a rapprochement if she is elected, if that is what is decided. If Trump wins, it is easy; and if he doesn’t, then the fact he brought it up will be used as a catalyst for policy changes toward Russia. The fight is behind the scenes now.”As much as currency rigging “will be ended, as we already saw Jack Lew give out the orders to Germany and Japan”, a new geoeconomic map – possibly under Trump — would swing towards the end of the oil price war as well. As a Trump backer puts it, “this is a national objective of the United States, as a higher price will make the United States energy independent. This is part of the significance of the Trump revolution.”
According to a source close to the House of Saud, Saudis and Russians are already involved in tortuous pre-negotiations on the possibility of engineering an oil price around $100.00 a barrel; “There should be enough mutuality of interest between the Saudis betrayed by the US under the neocons, and to be destroyed by the neocons eventually, and the Russians who can prevent that.”
An end to the oil price war may be something the Pentagon won’t be able to argue about. As a Trump backer notes, “it is in the vital interest of the military-industrial complex to achieve complete energy independence, and repatriate all its military industries to the shores of the United States.”
Compared to the current, 24/7 mud-wrestling match, all this may seem straight from Alice in Wonderland. There’s no evidence such an ambitious – and contentious – agenda can be sold to movers and shakers from JP Morgan to the Koch brothers. Trump creating a cross-party, trans-party or even post-party movement will only succeed if substantial players in the Power Elite are behind it, and there are no signs of this happening.
What proceeds relentlessly is a massive disinformation campaign – a ghastly remix of those good ol’ Cold War anti-USSR avalanches. The Clinton Media Machine is even vilifying Michael Flynn, former head of the DIA, who supports Trump. Trump was conceptually right when he said Obama and Hillary were the founder and co-founder of ISIS/ISIL/Daesh. That’s exactly what Flynn admitted in that notorious interview when he stressed that the expansion of the phony Caliphate was a “willful decision” taken in Washington.
The bottom line, as it stands, is that Trump is not raising enough cash to offset the formidable Clinton cash machine. Now comes the time when he must really take no prisoners to gain maximum exposure – while trying to sell the road map outlined above, one tweet at a time.
And of course there will be a surprise – October and otherwise. Nothing has been decided – yet. Disraeli’s Coningsby was never more appropriate; “So you see, my dear Coningsby, that the world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.”
Establishment pundits send signals to Trump to become more ‘presidential’
http://bit.ly/2bAg61N
On one hand I want Trump to win, on the flip side if War Bitch Clinton wins she will cop the wrath she deserves when the economy completely collapses and if we are really lucky maybe the American people will actually lynch both her and Bill the kill.
The possibility, eventually with time a certainty, of the economy/financial system going fully rogue & off the rails into this ‘election’ is what will surely influence or even cancel it!
Any ‘news’ on the 2 candidates in that case will be absolutely irrelevant, unless Edward S. comes out with some higher impact & well-timed stuff along the way.
Since most of the self-proclaimed big name gurus out there are anything but (fair at lying only, their dismal near 100% wrong track record more would see it fitting for them to be spouting off from an old abandoned factory or some decrepit dwelling), I just narrow it down to watching crude price.
A good chartist of note, 2 or 3 levels down from the frauds, has noted just 3 days ago that crude will now be going up for at least next 12- 14 weeks, possibly 17—that would take it right into/near NOV 8. It has made a higher low ($40) early August from the $35 2015 low, & has a new thrust pattern.
That is another way of saying dollar down big, since they’re inverse related.

In addition to Pepe’s list of organisations backing Hillary, I would add:
Independent left wing news outlets
The Intercept (where the famous Glenn Greenwald published the Snowden leaks) just posted this story: “Serb who inspired ethnic cleansing in Bosnia backs Trump”
So now Trump is somehow being associated with ethnic cleansing…!
https://theintercept.com/2016/08/16/serb-inspired-ethnic-cleansing-bosnia-leads-vote-trump-rally-belgrade/?comments=1#comments
Nice T-shirts I wonder where they were screened/printed?
Trump sent them ahead of Biden’s arrival
On another note, Carl Icahn mentioned in article is now actually supporting Trump too in his interview with Bloomberg:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GHf98zlecI
There is always an interesting take on the situation from Escobar. While I agree with the gist here I believe Pepe needs to think bigger. The Soros, Ichans and Kochs of this world, while major players that do sit at the table of the committee that runs the world, they are players with a small stack of chips compared to the ‘house’ which can conjure as many chips as they wish, while the aforementioned must rely on their good standing with the house to continue to receive theirs. Do the Kochs rely on a line of credit to keep their business empire rolling along in day to day operations? If so they are subservient to the banking ‘House’. The same applies to all the other giants of finance and industry. No doubt debate and consultations within this elite class takes place but the final decision still rests with the owners of the ‘House’, with discord or arguments within this circle never leaving the ‘Boardroom’. So what P.E. speculates on may or may not be the direction of decision. Either way whoever occupies the White House as caretaker after the election really is of a minor consideration as to who would be less troublesome as manager of the estate and who would be best to keep the serfs from rebelling. Don’y believe me? Just ask Lloyd or Jamie who they serve and their opinion on who sits as the Chief Operating Officers of “The Committee that runs the World”,not that they would say who are the actual major shareholders of the private for profit Bank of International Settlements Central Banking System and subsystems.
The “House” boils down to two words: “Rothschild cabal.”
I think it interesting in light of the Soros-related article that Trump’s backers see him as a non-productive force that must be cut-down to size. Also, the policy description is promoting classic national interest, not Imperial interest. This assessment combined with Pepe’s first article about Trump leads me to think that Trump would disavow the policy goal of Full Spectrum Dominance, particularly since TPP is a large component of its attainment.
If you’re an American, please consider not voting at all. Not only is it the best decision to make for your country, but because USA has so much cultural influence through movies and video games the whole world is looking at you and that way we/they will also know that voting doesn’t count at all and supporting or NOT supporting this or that politician/bureaucrat doesn’t count at all.
I choose to believe that international peace (whether with Iran or Russia, both of which were pro-“Western” before the economic sanctions agaisnt them) can be achieved through libertarianism and through having the access to free market economies, and not through taxation, price regulation, and economic sanctions
I recommend this article written by a libertartian that I agree with — http://garydbarnett.com/GDB/?p=799
Turkey seems to have chose to have some sort of an alliance with Russia despite or because of being sanctioned, which seems to be an argument against everything I just said.
At the end of the day you choose whether to vote or not, I only give this as an advice.
TRUMP/PENCE 2016 !!!!!!
Hi, I disagree. If it is a choice between tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum, yes there is no point to vote. But most readers by now, even Pepe Escobar, probably realizes this is not the usual election that we are so “used” to see for the past decades, and that the future of the USA is miraculously given an alternative path towards Americanism via the efforts of Trump and the American patriots. Americanism under Trump probably can be expected to be a sort of golden age for America and highly possibly, a future of less wars and military interventions for the world.
Know this: any vote withheld or discouraged that could go to Trump is a vote for the corrupt status quo and all those warmongering and control freaks. If Trump loses, you can be sure that the established order and their supporters will entrench itself more securely to prevent the rise of another real people’s movement. We can read as much good articles, ideas, books, etc. and argue to kingdom come how good they will be, but without the scale of the successes of Trump, we will be wasting our time with some “feel-good” mental exercise.
You wanted change? Its already here in the Trump movement, yet there are those who still can’t accept it since it does not fit exactly to their “ideal” expected change image. A brighter American destiny awaits and I, while being an outsider who hates the destructive US foreign policies, still believes that the American people deserves a better leadership and constructive future.
I must complain a little bit about Russia. Whoever will be a next president will not be a libertarian, and Putin is not really a libertarian either, when some journalist at a press-conference asked him something close to “I have this and that economic problem, what should I do.”, the president answered, essentially. “You can be on welfare.” It’s bad. If he was a libertarian he wouldn’t even think about being on welfare (or even anything similar to welfare) as unacceptable. He doesn’t, and it shouldn’t be surprising that he doesn’t consider economic sanctions (specifically against Turkey) as unacceptable. I do, I consider both of these strategies as unacceptable and I swear I would rather starve to death than even consider either of these.
Again as I said next president is going to be a bit of a socialist too, and I will not vote, and that way when he says something stupid, I will have a moral right to say “I didn’t support him in the first place, so I have no right to criticize him no matter how deep into hell he falls,” this is the approach, as an individual, that I will take.
I must say that I hate all Russian politicians both personally, as individuals, and professionally, as politicians, and really what they should do is resign and get real jobs instead. Damn my whole life was a one-way ticket to Gulag.
But all of that is not relevant today and as far as America is concerned.
Trump? I don’t think he’s a racist, I think he is an honorable man and I _hope_ he will solve America’s problems by creating jobs rather than by giving food stamps to people. If you think that he is good for America than you should vote for him and suggest to all your friends and acquaintances to vote for him.
Excellent article (one of the best I’ve read on the subject) by our very own, good ol’ Pepe. Wouldn’t expect anything less from him :)
I’ve noticed that one by one, those on the alternative media, if not fully trusting the ‘Donald’ yet (and I don’t blame them, I don’t fully trust anybody myself) I can see they’re staring to warm up to him.
I think the pivotal moment for this change of heart was when Sanders was officially out and Trump started to list, little by little, more serious policies that went beyond the initial “build a wall,” and “ban Muslims.”
Additionally; I think that the MSM’s hysterical attacks on Trump while at the same time canonizing Hitlery to the point of ridiculousness, is giving a lot of peeps pause for thought.
I mean it was only a matter of time until they’ve accused Trump of being a “Kremlin agent” …
Is Trump a Russian agent? Top Kremlinologist presents a tantalising and disturbing dossier on why the presidential hopeful could have closer links to the Kremlin than it may appear

^ The irony of the story is that they don’t realize that if Trump was indeed a “Kremlin agent,” people like me, and I suspect plenty of others, legions in fact, would support him even more.
Well… that’s what happens when you live cooped-up in your own sycophantic echo-chamber and eventually you start to believe your own bullshit. You think the whole world hates Russia, just because you told them to hate Russia, ergo; they hate Russia! Same can be applied to Assad, or Chavez, or whatever and whoever you told the people to hate, since you fancy yourself as a ‘Master of the Universe’ and you’re a raving psycopathic narcissist, your own mental illness prevents you from acknowledging the fact that people across the board are disagreeing with anything and everything you say. All – the – freaking – time. (As I’ve said before; the Western establishment is rapidly approaching their: ‘Let them eat cake’ moment).
Yet, the more they encounter popular resistance against their false narratives (a fancy way of saying: lies!) the more they double-down on their BS efforts, getting more and more outlandish in their accusations each time.
Ah! But the more they do that, the stronger it’s the resistance they come across. It’s a self-feeding loop.
I’d say; let them! Don’t interfere with this process ;-)
This phenomenon is waking-up a lot of people. Even those that wouldn’t spend a minute of their leisure time on learning about politics, are kindda going: wait a minute, wait a minute! Something fishy is going on here… hmmm…
I witnessed this with Brexit. The more ‘experts’ the Europhiles wheeled-out to talk in favor of the UK staying in the EU, the more the [regular] people retaliated and the more ‘fence sitters’ voters swung in favor of Brexit.
The biggest case was when Obongo traveled to the UK (with a disgusting big fanfare to celebrate the ‘occasion’) all just to lecture the Brits about aaaall the goodness of staying in the EU and the Armageddon that would follow if they voted to quit the Union.
The very next day the polls proved even more voters joined the ranks of Brexit :/
Same can be said about the “celebrities” (otherwise, now known as wankeratti) they employed to speak in favor of staying in the EU. It had the same effect on voters as Obongo’s utterly patronizing lecturing. In other words: the opposite effect the establishment was hoping for.

Trump: ‘The People of Crimea Would Rather Be With Russia’ (Video)
“[..] Stephanopoulos [interviewer]: But you said you might recognize [Crimea].
Trump: I’m going to take a look at it. But you know, the people of Crimea – from what I’ve heard – would rather be with Russia, than where they were. And you have to look at that also. re: Uke see the dogsh!t this OSCE type Baer is flinging around on Ukraine.
from kyivpost.com

For the third year in a row, August is proving a particularly deadly month in eastern Ukraine. Russian fighters, funds, weapons and equipment have kept the conflict burning—a conflict that has devastated buildings, roads and public works, led to massive population displacement and widespread human-rights abuses, and claimed the lives of nearly 10,000 people, with tens of thousands more injured.
Just read through the whole Zuesse piece. Very good. Quite convincing. Thanks for the link.
Comments are interesting.
We are getting a Ministry of Information treatment of the despicableHillary. And the inverse for Trump. We cant really find out anything of substance. So it is valuable to have chapter and verse brought together in one place.
Her crimes are simply being ignored. Her awful record is being called the opposite: “great experience.” And perfectly intelligent people state that they are more scared of Trump than of Hillary. I think a lot of such people can be brought around with evidence. I will send this to my own list in bits and pieces.
Katherine
Earlier today I posted a longer list of similar references in the comments section under Daniel Lazare’s piece “Hillary’s ‘exceptionalist’ warpath,” Consortium News, September 3, 2016. Mostly they focus on or reference the issue of the drive toward increasing hostilities with Russia. Most of them are from the political left or from refugees from Conservatism, Inc., and of course they include Eric Zuesse’s seminal article “Why Sanders supporters should vote for Trump”, already given above. Maybe some here will be interested in looking them over:
https://consortiumnews.com/2016/09/03/hillary-clintons-exceptionalist-warpath/
I’ve also just ordered a couple of bumper stickers from libertystickers.com, the company originally founded by Scott Horton of Antiwar Radio and now The Scott Horton Show:
They read: (1) “Pick a fight with Russia – Hillary 2016” and (2) “The Gravest Threat to All Humanity – Hillary 2016”
A Potent Option That Must Be Given Consideration
This Presidential “election” is like all others in the past. The people are faced with primarily two choices, both of which always results in the powerful elite remaining in control of our lives and future.
This system of government guarantees a continuity that benefits not the people who are supposed to be served but instead, the career politicians and the privileged insiders who are all manipulated at some level by the financial wealthy.
We can reject this by not voting which is a personal resolution to withhold our grant of credibility and legitimacy. However it is symbolic and not the change America must have in the electoral process to assure our voices are heard. What is that change?
The option to choose NOTA (“None of the Above”) on all presidential and congressional ballots. The count tallied for NOTA will be measured against the other candidates and if the count is higher, the election is voided and new candidates must appear on the ballot for that office. NOTA is the execution of the people’s supreme authority to demand candidates who are acceptable to the electorate. It exemplifies the nation’s will to override the swell of impending tyranny.
Many will say, “The government can’t function without a legislature.” Government operates at the bureaucratic level empowered by statute and regulation as long as the annual fiscal budget is in effect. The country has enough federal laws in force that a few months without a number of congressional offices filled will not impair Washington, DC.
The primary function of the executive in the White House is to: sign bills into federal law, propose treaties, appoint federal judges, make speeches, bribe, bully and bomb other nations and go on vacation. The country can survive without a president until the people choose a candidate who they want and not the marionettes who serve the Deep State.
This will not require an amendment to the U.S. Constitution because NOTA can be considered a “legal person” like a corporation. The federal courts have accepted the concept of “things” being named as defendants in civil asset forfeiture cases (e.g., cash, vehicles, boats, etc) so why shouldn’t “words” that represent political choice be allowed on the electoral ballot as well?
America needs the NOTA option to represent the will of the people because heaven knows the politicians no longer do.
Ah, Pepe Escobar and his ability to bring hope! Re-industrialization of planet Earth, isn’t it a bright future? Only thus we can have better lives: with robots and industry, more energy available, and – revival of consumer demand, better medicine and who knows, maybe expansion into the space at last, for the planet is ultimately finite and has an expiration date, too.
Hopefully tonight I will dream about future of high energy states, instead of the nightmare of slow human extinction.
Choosing between Trump vs Clinton is like choosing between 2 sides of a s*** sandwich.
So-called “alternative” media don’t have the honesty to question the diversionary political fraud that is American democracy in general.
They limit the debate to which American sociopath is going to become ruler of the American Empire.
Democrat, Republican, Green Party, or Libertarian–to Hell with them all.
American “democracy” itself–like the United States as a nation–is morally bankrupt.
There will be no reforming or “saving” this bloodthirsty parasite of a nation.
Simply put, the United Snakes of America long ago forfeited its right to exist and must be ended as an entity.
Trump and Clinton are true representatives of their adorable compatriots all right. The latter tend to be vacillating between the following two positions:
1) Repression and chauvinism against Arabs/Muslims/Mexicans on US soil
2) Unending wars of conquest, rape, and pillage globally to feed the Exceptional people
But let us not judge the Pindos too harshly. Some day, one of those Bible thumping, gun-toting flagwavers will carefully read the US Constitution and point his/her firearm right against the Oligarchs.
According to acclaimed feminist, Camille Paglia, “If women had been in charge of the world, we would still be living in grass huts.”
Well, better study up on grass huts, because women will be in charge shortly … Merkel and Theresa May are in power already with Marine Le Pen and Hillary coming up.
And to think I was worried over Fukushima radiation and abrupt climate change.
What’s wrong with grass huts anyway?
They’re eco-friendly, can be easily erected/dismantled/transported and merge harmoniously with the environment.
All you need is a ‘village pump’ for clean running water, and Bob’s your uncle.
Or if I mean Bab’s your aunt?
:-)
Some of the latest polls, for what they’re worth, are not showing a huge lead for Hillary:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2016/08/18/pew-research-clinton-trump/88959712/
The polling info. I saw earlier today, which is more impressive (in terms of the narrowing gap):
http://graphics.latimes.com/usc-presidential-poll-dashboard/
“Certified add-ons include Wall Street; selected hedge funds; TPP cheerleaders; CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) interventionists; media barons; multinational corporate hustlers; in fact virtually the whole exceptionalist US establishment, duly underwritten by the bipartisan, mega-wealthy 0.0001%.”
Ah yes, those zionists and their obvious hooks in clinton and, apparently their aversion to trump, where did they happen to go off to here? Mars? Well, perhaps they are invisible and one needs special glasses to see them.
I read a few more paras, still no zio interests mentioned, and the usual mix of alt and zio-gay media quoted as the authoritative reference material that pepe’s material promotes, then stopped reading.
What I’ve noticed is that trump is getting the “color revolution”/”regime demonisation” routine the zpc/nwo uses on other countries not being “propper” colonies. Especially in the american msm version of the zio-gay media.
Something else. He’s getting the same sort of psychological warfare that Syria gets from the zpc and their media. What I mean is they blitz a false narrative to attempt to change the reality to match their propaganda. About Syria they were always trying to portray the government as on its last legs.
The first time I really noticed this tactic was against Libya when the zionazis filled the media with stories of Qaddafi’s imminent collapse months prior to his capture and murder. The reality being, the Libyan governemt was not falling from the zionazi’s takfiri boitois and it took a full scale [g]ato war crime campaign to destroy Libya. The zionazi repeated attempts to run duplicate psywar plus terrorism plus [g]ato assault have fortunately failed in Syria because Syria and their friends developed adequate counters to this zionazi new warfare type.
BTW, pepe initially defended the zionazi attack on Libya and dutifully spread the zionazi propaganda about this war crime.
Pepe Escobar managed to capture a truly grotesque and shadowy reality very well. He has a good heart and a strong stomach. I now see how what little tranquility and stability is left on the North American continent is about to be siphoned off, and by whom. Form matters. An epithet of Satan in Eastern Xtianity is Bezobraznyj – “The formless one”, implying a shapeshifter.
I wonder why I never see a discussion of the transition of US Republicanism/Democracy into Dynastic Rule. The Bush Dynasty has been at work since Prescott Bush spearheaded the illegal rearmament of Germany in the 1930s right up until 1941 I believe. It has provided the USA with two Dynasts as Presidents and would have had a fourth had the corruption of the Republican Party not gone into Warp Speed Overdrive. The Clinton Dynasty is clearly about to give the USA their second and third Dynasts, Hilary and an impeached, but you-would-not-know-it, Bill. Hilary gruesomely used the phrase ‘Two for the price of one.’ And even Chelsea (not Manning) was, in her oddly terrifying way, present during mummy’s campaign as a harbinger of more horrors ahead.
Even lumpenprole Trump trotted out his entire family during the convention as if they were auditioning for roles as future leaders of the Evil Empire.
Surely all this has broad, even tragic implications. Millions will soon dutifully cast ballots in scenes that will make Metropolis look like a light-hearted family comedy, yet no one comments.
If people had noticed, certainly the building of arks of salvation would be visible in all regions and towns of the USA. Especially since the NRA wet dream of an uprising has come and gone in Oregon, was it? Coitus interruptus would be too kind a term to describe the Bundy Uprising. And anyway, CIANN has a way of wiping our slates clean in a matter of weeks.
One of the few beauties of democracy was that you never knew what lay ahead. Now we do.
Are we not angry, horrified, disgusted, indignant, outraged or just plain shit-scared?
Surely we can’t yell, as with a dead king, “Democracy is dead! Long live Democracy!” Or can we?
“I wonder why I never see a discussion of the transition of US Republicanism/Democracy into Dynastic Rule.”
They exist. Indeed, the great Progressive Historian Charles Beard was the first to draw attention to the Imperial Presidency of FDR on the run-up to and during WW2, particularly in his now overlooked book “The Republic,” and his ongoing debate with Henry Luce over the latter’s promotion of the “American Century.” Ralph Nader is another who’s been very outspoken regarding the rise of the Duopoly. The possibility of “Dynastic Rule” was discussed at length during the coup that overthrew the Articles of Confederation, otherwise known as the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, and is central to the Anti-Federalist critique of what emerged. President Jackson was harped on for his imperiousness, and Lincoln famously described Polk’s invasion of Mexico as one done by an Emperor. Works from C. Wright Mills to Sheldon Wolin discuss it in varying degrees. But perhaps the best evidence for when and why both parties began to meld is at the formation of the Cold War and the goal of global Outlaw US Empire hegemony.
Just heard Donald Trump’s speech in Louisiana. It’s full of promises reminiscent of Obama’s ‘Change we can’ rhetoric! His policy on foreign trade will likely change the current recession/low growth into a depression and launch an international trade war! I think China foresaw this. That’s one of the rationale for Prez Xi’s OBOR strategy – the development of the Eurasian Continent into a hypermarket that should be at least 10 times the size of the US market within a decade or two! I would say that at this stage, Trump is slightly better for the US than Hillary Clinton. But in the longer term, his trade policies will turn the world into t
The negative sentiment displayed by some of the commenters here regarding Trump is interesting.
Clearly Trump has displayed intelligence and a degree of awareness not attributable to typical to Republican candidates. Indeed, one may claim he is the first true republican in a long time, with Bush having sold the US people to the CFR. They went for all the marbles, especially Obama debt-wise, by moving for world hegemony during a chance at world peace with the fall of the Soviet Union. It has proven either unobtainable or incorrect, regardless of the philosophical under pinnings.
It seems to me there’s an internal fracture among those who are the top, predominately organized by the CFR and Bilderberg group, on how to deal with the threat of financial disintegration soon to occur on the dollar. You have (3) options I suppose. 1- world government to remake the financial system and just continue as before under debt-backed printed currency (this is Hillarys and Wall Streets choice) 2- Create a war to inflate away debts and remove your competitors or 3- return to true financial conservatism and stave of hyperinflation.
Clearly 3 is better than 1 and 2. Trump is not ideal, still swallows false history of 9/11 as truth, but at the end of the day we might keep the skin on our backs and our cultural identities. It’s also not true I think that voting is irrelevant, otherwise the MSM wouldn’t need to present a unified front against trump. They wouldn’t have a need at marketing a false truth if the votes didn’t matter. Plus, in a sense, trump is waking people up, not merely espousing platitudes, so the effect is real even if the votes didn’t matter. You can’t have aggressively upset population and still plotter out policy inconspicuously. That would be dangerous act.
Very interesting article that is fairly perceptive and thought provoking.
It is 190 years since Rothschild took full control of Britain.
But only 102 years since they took control of the USA via the Fed.
That 88 extra years of controlling the greatest empire ever known to man, euphamistically called the British Empire but realistically nothing less than the Rothschild drugs empire, has had a telling effect on Britain.
There are no guns amongst the general populace although two hundred years ago there were.
There is no free speech in Britain any longer although as little as forty years ago there was.
The Prime Minister’s residence is protected by ten foot high steel fencing and several armed to the teeth police officers with surveillance cameras everywhere. Just thirty years ago you could walk up to the Prime Minister’s front door, rap on it with your knuckles, and when it was opened ask how the PM’s health was…and get an honest reply!
The Royal PR is such that the people all love and adore the Queen and see her as separate from the corrupt bankers, the crooked industrialists and the evil politicians…this PR is mostly financed from taxes and totally approved by Rothschild.
But what most of the people don’t realise is that the Queen and her House of Windsor are as thick as theives with Rothschild.
There are one hundred privately owned shares in the Bank of England, (what the Fed is modeled on), Rothschild owns ninety eight and guess who owns the other two? That’s right, Windsor.
Originally it was to be a 50/50 split with Rothschild putting in 30,000 gold guineas and the Royal Family the same sum, but the Royal Family failed to pay up (because Rothschild owned all the gold in London and the Royal household was broke)!
So what you see in London today, with the Square Mile, the actual City of London proper, not being a part of the United Kingdom but actually a tax free haven under the protectorate of the Queen, is the doing of both Rothschild and the House of Windsor.
The City of London, protected from UK law by the Queen, is actually the drug money laundering capital of the world. And Rothschilds are the primary source of all drugs, legal or illegal, in the whole world. They use the CIA as their private army and the Queen of England as their front woman.
On the basis of this (which 99▪99% of the UK’s population are blissfully unaware) I would suggest that matters in the USA are ever so slightly more convoluted than this article suggests. Never the less a very good well structured piece by Escobar.
Trump is the face man for the East Coast Mob’s casino racket. Does anyone seriously expect this man to start an industrial renaissance?
The contest between Trump and Clinton is merely a contest between different factions within the US ruling class. Neither Trump nor Clinton offer any relief from the depredations of US Imperialism. They both share the same goal, maintain and extend US global hegemony in service to the 0.0001%. To think that Trump is some sort of “anti-establishment” saviour is nonsense. He represents those amongst the Powers That Be (PTB) who realize that the neocon/neolib program has run its course. The Empire of Chaos that resulted did serve US imperial interests but it has also spurred a rapprochement between Russia and China, and the resurgence of an Eurasian alliance, including Iran which rivals the Pax Mongolica. This alliance is a game changer and there are those amongst the Western PTB who see it as the existential threat that it is. Those who clearly see this realize the need to breakup the looming consolidation of the Russian-Iranian-Chinese triumvirate. Their objective is to lure Russia away from its Eastern pivot by acknowledging its interests in Ukraine, Syria and elsewhere. Once Russia is neutralized all guns can be turned on China which is the only country in the world today that can challenge US global hegemony in the future. If current economic trends persist China’s economy could well be twice the size of the US economy by 2030 and China’s military might will rival or outstrip that of the US and NATO combined. Trump’s foreign policy of protectionism, militarism and gunboat diplomacy (aka peace through strength) is a counterweight to the failing neocon/neolib policy of regime change and “humanitarian intervention” which are simply covers for US Imperialism based on the ideological pretext of combating terrorism and promoting “human rights.” Trump simply dispenses with those niceties and calls for the exercise of raw power and making deals that other nations “cannot refuse” since they’ll have a US gun at their head. Basically Trump wants to return to the days when the US supported any regime that accepted US suzerainty no matter what its internal politics. The US still does that of course, but Trump just wants to remove the pretence. Those who promote Trump see China as the main enemy and Russia as a target of opportunity. Why push Putin into China’s arms they ask. Who cares about Ukraine or Syria? Give Putin his do and entice him away from his Eastern pivot. At present China faces no threat on its northern or western flanks, allowing it to focus on defending its more vulnerable eastern, southeastern and southern flanks. If Russia is enticed West, China will be faced with a geopolitical disaster, its OBOR/New Silk Road program of exporting capital goods will collapse and its internal economic contradictions will be exacerbated, or at least that is the hope of the Trumpsters. If Trump loses which at this point seems most likely, Clinton will continue with the status quo until it no longer makes any sense. Then expect to see her attempt a conciliation with Russia to the detriment of China.
Folks, this is like whistling Dixie over a gravestone, but listen to the tune. Pepe is right about everything most of the time. As far a Trump is concerned he has no clue. Trump is a Zionist from the tip of his nose to the tip of whatever you want. Presidents do not formulate foreign policy. Last one tried was Jack Kennedy. This is a lost cause because even the so-called a IQ people can’t do simple arithmetic. The neocons can also play chess, especially the end game.
“Good Cop Trump vs Bad Cop Hillary.” You can quote me all you want but nothing will change. Why the carnival? Because the neocons have lost in Syria, Ukraine, Iran, Russia, China. Don’t believe me, then read the latest article by chief advisor to the neocons, Zbig Brzezinski. Trump is the best at spreading Bull$hit on behalf of neocon buddies, pretending to mitigate their hard-line and thus remove the blame for a disastrous foreign policy that has killed millions, not to mention destroy this country. Hillary is a menopausal, mentally ill woman who can be blamed for everything if she wins. The neocons have covered both sides of the singular coin they flip. There is only one way short of revolution to stop this charade; complete abstention of voting until at least ten candidates are allowed to run on equal financial footing. Not gonna happen folks. This takes an educated electorate. People here suffer from cranial vacuity, zombification short of flesh-eating. Even the professional polit/pundits at a PhD level think that Trump is being original. No one can be that dumb, you say. Wrong 300 million times, plus.
Mainly agree, that´s how I see it.
Both are part of the circus to draw a veil over the thunderous failures at all levels of the American way of doing politics and even the whole American way of life and everybody knows everything will be the same whoever wins, or rather will be worse.
Only I do not understand well, that is, if both are equally bad, equally evil, equally clowns, why when you talk about Hillary you say that she is menopausal and instead you do not say that Trump is, besides largemouth, racist and everything else, penispausal, when he is much older than she.
Well Im trying to be a gentleman when it comes to women. I really cannot tell you she is an insane greedy, homicidal murderess, working for the neocons, who will lie, cheat and kill to retain her status quo. After all, I am a gentleman.

Well stated.
Trump’s main enemy is himself. The notion that politics is the art of the possible escapes him. He is good at pleasing his base and alienates everyone else. Such shenanigans could not be ignored by the Deep State who as you say are the real decision makers. In that perspective Hillary will do and she will be directed to tone down her bellicosity to give money making another milestone.
