7/03/15 — around 17:00, an attempt to blow up Alexei’s car was made at the Mikhailovka checkpoint. Luckily he only suffered light injuries.
Soon after the assassination attempt Alexei Borisovich has recorded his appeal.
Commentary from Kotaro Kazzura:
Now a comment from myself, don’t read it if you kinda don’t have own opinion, don’t know the facts etc. the events happening in Donbass and events that caused them and stuff, just because I don’t to have my opinion be ( unintentionally or intentionally ) imposed to anyone.
Mozgovoi openly states that he knows who’s behind this (and it’s not the Ukrainians) — obviously the same force as in case with ‘Batman’ aka Bednov, and he realizes that the purpose of such action is to split the militia, provoking fights inside of LPR between “obedient” People’s Militia (that gets supplies from RF and pretty much does only what Kremlin wants) and “not obedient” independent commanders like Alexei, who manage to endure it without official RF supplies and have freedom not to do every retarded thing sent from Kremlin (like assaulting the airport just because Ukraine promised to give it in exchange for territories around Mariupol, but kept it, so it was fine to attack the airport, but only the airport, not Peski and Avdeyevka, the key positions the airport is still shelled from even today). So the plan is likely to split the militia, declare all “independent” troops — “traitors” and deal with them, keeping only obedient forces without any particular ideology, that would join back the Ukraine without problems and become something like territorial defense battalions there, just because now Kremlin thinks that it’s cheaper to force Donbass join Ukraine back in exchange for cancellation of some of the sanctions and getting rid of need to support it. Yesterday another commander — Bondar, suffered similar assassination attempt (MON mines were used), luckily he survived too.
Theres a video on Kazzura’s channel that Mozgovoi make hard critics about the Minsk 2, Zakarchenko and Plotnitsky. When i see the video i think to myself – oh no, another Batman case is comming…
Here it is…
WHO IS BONDAR IVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM ANY BACK GROUND ON HIM PLZ
He meant Bondarenko. Sergei Bondarenko is the commander of ” Rus’ ” battalion, based in Krasnyi Luch and Antratsit. Lots of Cossacks in the area. Bondarenko claims a large role in liberating Chernukhino, and a similar role for Debaltsevo. Also claims that he gives big help to civilians, schools, kindergartens and such, in his host cities, — to a greater degree than is seen coming from LPR, accoring to himself. His overall personal style, based on his videos, reminds of Batman (hopefully not his fate).
I wish they made aid distribution more transparent as it leads to accusations, and also aid may be not reaching all the areas. There is a spotlight when something goes wrong, but supply issues go back for at least 6 months prior to current events.
There is an interesting commentary here on the intrigue by Strelkov, Cassad, and others. It’s a bit longer than the average article on the net, but I encourage all to read it.
The two pillars of Russian Maidan or what did Nemtsov and Strelkov have in common?
http://fortruss.blogspot.ca/2015/03/the-two-pillars-of-russian-maidan-or.html
I’d like to read Saker’s comments on this…
it’s pure Kurginyan bullshit, the source – friend.livejournal.com – is the main Kurginyatnik “news outlet” in the Russian blogosphere. save your time, don’t read it – it’s as full of lies, omissions and empty statements with no proof as Swiss cheese is full of holes.
You almost sound fearful of someone reading this. Why?
WOW if those quotes are at all accurate, Borodai just threw his friend Strelkov under the bus.
Russia must have good psychologists. Srtrelkov was forced to take early retirement because he failed his last psych exam.
Honestly, I’m pretty tired of hear both Cassandra and you aerate this tale of Strelkov´s failed psychological exam. And I say “tale” because I guess you are based on rumors of Russian social networks out there.
Because, let’s see, anyone of you which are dedicated to spread this rumor have seen the exam he did?
I’m afraid not because psychological exams of FSB staff are not publicly available (if they were Strelkov could pursue legal action on the right to the privacy of his clinical / psychological history ; air this is a felony in Spain) and much less for bloggers.
Thus, it would be desirable if you have a reliable and verifiable data on your slander towards Strelkov that you present them. If not, you should shut up.
Enough!
Used to have good writers and scientists too.
After fighting with Ukraine is down, there seem is too much fighting among themselves.
They ‘d better work together on something good or attractive. Among people still there, Mozgovoi used to have quite appealing story-line, than what?—Off supplies and a target?
Unless the plan is to dismantle themselves, they need to find something to hold on to. That does not really seem likely to be wonders of civil administration. Zakharchenko is OK, and they have a chance to do better than Ukraine, –but not like miles ahead of Russia. (And local administration role model in Russia would be –who? Somebody in the shoes of Nemtsov–I don’t know)
@Alexandre
Some people can recognize between white and black, only. They are not able to see millions shades of grayness.
Here’s a nice video on Brain/Mozgovoi from the Debalcevo capture.

@ Larchmonter445,
What a lovely elderly lady toward the end of the clip. Love it when I see people with a zest for life [and a sense of humor].
I am living on this earth for quite some time but still can not comprehend demonic minds and souls that planned and executed this brutal war mainly to provoke war with Russia. I know that they have families and so on, and we can rule out that they are evil sociopaths, what puzzles me that majority that silenty supports them through taxes never question where is their money being spent.
That majority can not hide behind “we did not know” meme after being lied constantly (most documented is Iraq WMD lie).
Maybe people have concentration of a golden fish and I am being too harsh on their sheep hive mind which is being daily bleached by the media…
I guess that the power of Hollywood, John Wayne, James Bond and Captain America goes beyond my comprehension.
Like you….I’ve been around for some time, and most of us believe in striving for the good of all; however it is useless and dangerous to NOT finally admit that there DOES exist people animated by impulses that are nothing less than EVIL. The struggle for power, for domination and control, the greed that wants all for itself, the ABSOLUTE LACK OF RESPECT AND MEANING FOR HUMAN LIFE, the innate conviction that some are superior to others, the insane delusion that some MUST control the lives and resources of others…..all of this is unfortunately REAL. At the end of the day, even if one was a unbeliever, the understanding of this forces one to reflect on the very real possibility of the existence of very dark forces in the universe. If one listens to the public statements of Obama, Kerry, Clinton, Cheney, Nuland, one famous Breedlove, we can no longer remain bewildered, but be really scared and jolted into action.
My analysis is that the entire sand castle on which the West prided itself: the superiority of unbridled capitalist, the much touted democracy, etc…. the castle is dangerously perched, the cracks are visible and widening and on the verge of collapse. The risk to the entire western civilization, with its stockpiles of unredeemable debt, its massive spying and theft from the rest of the world, its houses of torture, its never-ending wars, death and destruction…the risk is MASSIVE COLLAPSE.
At the end of the collapse comes THE NEW DARK AGES: massive unemployment, hyperinflation, disruption of life (the life of the pashas) that the west loves to believe is their birthright. Politicians, journalists, business, military…. are fully well aware of this. So like the mass murderer who has killed and is willing to continue killing to hide his former crimes…. the west will continue its reign of evil until it is stopped dead in its tracks! Powerful taser or deadly bullet?
With 18 Trillion dollars in debt, the Hegemon has stopped long ago using just taxes. Thus, they have to account to no one in the voting public.
Debt is foisted upon the public. It is enslavement and precludes consent of the governed.
Understand what is really going on.
Imagine if you could live like a billionaire and send the bill to your neighbors.
You make the rules, you rule the serfs, you do whatever the demons tell you.
I think the central problem is that most human beings have a very tenuous relationship with reality and cannot endure the pain that an honest appraisal of the US government would bring to them. We remain a completely deluded people, not only because of the presstitutes, but as an act of will. I am reminded of a line from T.S. Eliot from ‘Burnt Norton’, part of his Four Quartets:
Go, go, go, said the bird: human kind
Cannot bear very much reality.
Time past and time future
What might have been and what has been
Point to one end, which is always present.
I found a reflection on the line “Humankind cannot bear very much reality” on a website called Mere Orthodoxy. Not to push a religious point of view, but spiritual illumination helps many people to overcome this weakness, while others arrive there on their own:
“Few lines capture the central neurosis of our age better. Our relationship to reality is not an uncompromised one. It is tarnished, marked by sin, and the refusal to bear responsibility for our actions in it. At the end of C.S. Lewis’s The Great Divorce, Lewis wakes in a fit of horror because he has seen a glimpse of the reality beneath the shadows, the fixed eternal that is the accumulation of a million choices distended through time, and he cannot bear the sight. God, we hear in those pages, is the Fact to whom the universe answers, and the Fact on which all other facts depend. It is a point worth contemplating.
My own generation, the “millenials,” love to talk about being “authentic.” And well we should, for whatever else happens, we cannot fail in honesty or veracity to that which we are—in Christ.
But as Eliot reminds us, authenticity isn’t easy. Rather, it is the most difficult thing of all. Acknowledging the reality of who we are is the sort of enterprise that will inevitably fail unless aided by grace. The moment we claim to “know ourselves” is precisely the moment when we are most prone to self-deception, especially if that knowledge is not mediated to us by the Word of God.”

Is it merely “Atlantic Integrationists vs. Eurasian Sovereignists” that is going on right now in Kremlin – or it is something far, far dirtier? Where does Mr. Putin stand here – really?
While I do have my own thoughts, I would certainly like to hear an honest objective analysis (which by definition excludes e.g. slimy Starikov & his despicable likenesses).
No idea how to take this:
“Vladimir Putin announced an ultimatum Barack Obama if the US decides on arms supplies to Ukrainian groups in the Donbas, the Russian army will open to Ukraine and Kiev will take. This was on a talk show Shuster Live said Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko , referring to the data that it received from analysts during a trip to America, reportsNavigator”
source: http://glagol.su/2015/03/07/putin-vyidvinul-ultimatum-obame-rossiyskie-voyska-vozmut-kiev/
It says to wit: “… Vladimir Putin announced an ultimatum to Barack Obama: if the US decides to supply weapons to the Ukrainian groups in Donbass, the Russian army will openly enter Ukraine and will take Kiev. …”
“It says”—that is not a source, not a direct quote, and is propaganda.
Putin, from all records of his words, does not threaten. So this is garbage.
LJ, hi. I think you have to hear it on tape from Putin directly and not 2d hand and thru a bad translation.
Re: What Kazzura says Mozgovoi says & w/o knowing what evidence he has as to who is responsible– I see no reason to believe that he does in fact know who did it. I also suspect that if the Kremlin were behind this it wd’ve been more efficiently done.
Further, failing to do something Moscow wanted done is unlikely to be a cause for such an attack. Unlike persisting to do something undesirable, like criminal acts, threatening the civilian leader, etc.
That can’t be true, can anyone confirm? That would be an enormous statement.
“said Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko” — trust the Ukrainian?
LJ: I found the source of “Putin’s ultimatum” that he wd take Kiev if US supplied weapons to Ukraine.
It is entirely unreliable. First, because it is THIRD-hand, and second because it originates from Kiev:
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Anton Gerashchenko, referring to the data that he received from analysts said he’d been informed of the ultimatum.
Thanks, P. That was my suspicion, but you never know.
Do some research on Anton Gerashchenko. The US “evidence” on MH17 was mostly posted onto social media by Gerashchenko.
How to take this? Take it as bull excrement.
Gerashchenko was the Kiev spkesman who claimed MH17 was shot down by the separatists with a BUK not more than 7 hours after the plane came down, when NOBODY official had been at the site except a few OSCE monitors for half an hour.
By then he’d also managed to find an unnamed Associated Press reporter who had seen a BUK in Torez earlier that day. The video of the BUK being driven all over the place (to make sure it got seen) showed up just a day later.
Glad to see you well, comrade Aleksei, thank you.
I love you too!
Internal fighting among Novorussian leaders, or is somebody else using their disagreements to stage divisive covert ops in order to cause dissension and split the Novorussians? We all know who specialise in the latter ops.
I assume it is RF that will kill off any rebel leader that does not comply.
exactly!

Batter Up – The Untouchables (3/10) Movie CLIP (1987) HD
Very poorly done scene, but typical of the Hollywood product. Once in while, they do manage to make a film worth watching, but it’s rare. Out of the 100+ Hollywood films made yearly, maybe one or two might be worth watching. This is why I stopped watching most of their toss decades ago.
Don’t assume. The Lugansk oblast is filled with criminals. There is a lot of hijacking of voentorg and other humanitarian supplies. Gangs are active.
Same with parts of Donetsk. These oblasts were very corrupt just like nearly all of Ukraine. Criminals into all kinds of activities.
Why assume it is discipline from the Kremlin? Or even Surkov?
That’s Strelkov talking that lingers.
Nearly all the replacements of civilian and military leaders has resulted in much better militia and local government.
Only Batman was a real strange ending. But he had no halo round his head.
What is Cassad’s take on each and every one of these?
We know SBU has been trying to kill the leaders from the get go. They have used sniper and bombs in Donetsk.
I fear for all the heroes, Givi, Motorola and Mozgovoi, Zakh. They are targeted by Ukraine, NATO, and the gangsters.
Oh, I forgot. It’s Putin’s fault.
Many of the gangsters in Donbass, esp in Lugansk, are pro-Kiev infiltrators, their job is to create terror and split. There was some articles about them last spring…
I assume it is RF that will kill off any rebel leader that does not comply.
That Israel’s sayanim network is so intent on promoting such a view tells me that is most likely not the place to be looking.
The Brain and other men like him are fighting a war with many fronts, diverse agenda, and various shadowy enemies. Good luck to him.
Spokesperson for Novorossiya? – Not Strelkov, clearly not Batman – Lets see what Zaxarchenko and Plotnitsky has to say.
It seems that Angela is revolting against neocons crazies like Nuland and Nato Breedlove war plans, via Der Spiegel. Is it a fake revolt or not?No idea.

I doubt they’re really on hold. When US “announced” it was considering lethal aid, it had already been doing so for some time. Remember when they shut down the Kharkov airport for a couple days so they cd begin w really heavy-duty shipments?
Also, they are now laundering shipments thru Qatar. Porky even went there to cement the deal. There are already missiles he’s put at Odessa.
don’t be naive. Merkel ain’t “revolting” against anyone. she’s been a tame and obedient gopher all her life, starting from her work for the GDR youth communist organizations, later the SED and Stasi, then Helmut Kohl, and now the Dept of State. she’s a natural born ass-kisser, naturally incapable of “revolting” against the predominant power. also, Gerhard Schröder tried to do that (refusing to send German troops to Iraq 2003), and look what it got him – an impeachment.
@Palmtoptiger
Well said, your description of Frau merkel is right on the money: she’s a perennial butt-licker and conformist. A woman whose only conviction appears to be personal survival and political prestige. She’s about as ideologically steadfast as a weather-vane in a tornado. She’s not a leader, she’s a politician.
Yes, that’s what I had figured from the first killing of Batman. Certain power to the east wants to remove those militia that’s not good at taking orders.
“news to me!”

US President Barack Obama said he had first learned of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email address from news reports.
Ah, and where is your much-vaunted evidence, Marc? Just go somewhere else.
Where else, pray tell? Got to understand, Penelope, ‘tis “Nowhere To Run” for them… No-one likes ‘em in Europe … the States … the Middle East…
Sometimes I think AM is too intelligent and idealistic for his own safety..
But very relieved to see him alive and well.
He forgives because he knows desperate people will do anything for money, especially when they’re numbed by war and destruction. And the jaakals move in and tempt them..
He’s right of course – the new constitution is imperative. Otherwise peace will bring nothing better – it will be like before, only worse. People arent educated enough about the global neo-liberal scam and how it generates an oligarchy rather than a large ‘middle class’ which means public ownership of assets. Maybe he needs to come up with a leaflet explaining this..
Note: ‘middle-class’ for me means standard of living, not the Anglo-European divide of trade/professional w hich I consider ludicrous: all are necessary, so none are more ‘important’ than the other.
Community is what matters.
Slava Novorossiya!
He’s a remarkable person, isn’t he? Without knowing much at all about him, I kind of think of him as someone with great inborn socialist and communitarian instincts that have finally been allowed to flower, in a time when he had to pick up a gun and effectively realize power out what was only the raw potential of his society. He’s a warrior philosopher – the only kind of warrior there is, in my book.
I don’t fully understand the internal struggles of Novorossia as she tries to be born – and as one astute commentator said once, the NAF guys are pretty good at keeping their facts to themselves.
I’m a Zakharchenko man myself, unto the finish. And I have enormous trust in both Zach and Putin. But it will be a damn shame if this revolution can’t accommodate a pure revolutionary like Alexei Borisovich in its company.
Agree completely with your comment and also this: But it will be a damn shame if this revolution can’t accommodate a pure revolutionary like Alexei Borisovich in its company.
I can’t help but think about Nestor Makno and what happened then. His was one glorious fight against the landed aristocracy and capitalists but was eventually crushed by the Bolsheviks.

On Saturday, law enforcers detained two men on suspicion of killing Russian politician Boris Nemtsov.
Fast faded rock star fast eddie off to swiss?
he’s had zero important or timely info released his whole stay!
GENEVA, March 6. /TASS/. US National Security Agency (NSA) leaker Edward Snowden, who has been living in Russia since mid-2013, on Friday made a public appeal for asylum in Switzerland, where he said he once worked under diplomatic cover for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
http://tass.ru/en/russia/781553
What on earth makes him think he’d be safe in Switzerland. The only 2 places, right now, he could count on being safe ,are Russia and China.
Perhaps the mistaken belief that Switzerland is a nation independent of the US.
Switzerland wouldn’t even protect their bank secrecy. Now all they have is some chocolate and cuckoo clocks. They sold out all their valuables. Raped by Uncle Sam.
I guess Mr Mozgovoi is a friend of Strelkov. Hopefully Mr. Saker will give his opinion on this soon.
Johan, I happen to like Starikov…in this community we have to tolerate some things…
Vil, oh come on. Get real. read Penelope’s sane answer to LJ’s comment. It makes alot of sense.
Red Ryder, good comment, thanks. I have always thought Batman’s killing looked like US special forces.
Grieved: Zakharchnko was appointed. So Mozgovoi, what does he think of him ?
Snowden is an operative.. Its the only thing that makes sense. His revelations are nothing we didn’t already know, and they came right when the 9/11 truth org. had put up that huge poster in Time Square about building 7.
Switzerland has extradition treaties with US… he better not come here.
Russians had good reason that they did not ask/interogate Snowden about anything. So Mr. Snowden does not know what Russians know or don’t know. No reason to remain in Russia any longer. Maybe i am wrong to be suspicious about real role of Snowden, but i am shure that CIA with or without Snowden remained empty handed. That is very positive outcome.
1. Russia states that it will recognize and fully support Donbass republics. More here http://rusvesna.su/recent_opinions/1425720542
Despite of all the desperate efforts of the 5th column, Russia will always support Russians and Ukrainians fighting with the NATO-Israeli occupation of Ukraine. It’s ridiculous to suggest that Russia would agree to trade Donbass in “exchange for cancellation of some of the sanctions and getting rid of need to support it”
Putin said that Russia will restore Donbass and will support it if Ukraine doesn’t want it. Just look at the gas, electrics, food, funds etc. coming to Donbass without Ukraine paying for it.
Just look at nearly 1mln refugees and 2mln workers from Ukraine (about 6mln had been in Russia prior to 2014)
http://varjag-2007.livejournal.com/7929377.html
2. Ukrainian terrorist group Shadows has already admitted organizing the assassination attempt on Mozgovoy http://voicesevas.ru/news/yugo-vostok/10790-soversheno-pokushenie-na-alekseya-mozgovogo.html
The Ghost is a Believer in an Ideal he is no gangster he is righteous in his cause. I would march with him any day of the week. Right it would be political suicide for Putin to take out these hero’s within Russia proper never mind in the Donbass. But he does want them connected somehow if possible with the West to keep a break on anti Russian government’s from gaining to much power this may not be possible time will tell if Mr. Ukraine becomes open to both east and West trade things will work out fine. All Russia cared about was having European goods dumped in Ukraine and passing through customs into Russia tariff free as this trading relationship would naturally be effected and of course no NATO. Putin’s economic plan would have been best for all three but EU I mean US couldn’t have that-they want Europe as their slave someone has to buy their junk military equipment.
CC has an interesting comment about the attempted assassination:
Покушение на Мозгового (Attempt on the Brain)
PS. I am very glad that Alex was not seriously injured, he was one of those who continue to promote the idea of New Russia and is in fact one of her live avatars.
Who was it attempted is not clear, I think if Alex wants, he will speak on the topic. Of course, the major versions according to the hints of Alexei, the ends will attempt to look inside the LC, as in the work of DRG junta in this case believe very poorly.
And yes, note that damage to the machine very similar to Brain Damage Volnovaha under the bus.
Close-up of the vehicle damage outside the passenger compartment
PS. Well, of course it would be interesting to see how much different scum got out with the talk, as well, that Brain was killed, if the attempt failed.[I believe he means people who knew about the op before it took place and assumed it was going to be successful]
Another recent attack besides the Volnovaha bus that comes to mind is the recent one at a right sektor march that killed that Odessa massacre operative.

Probably another false flag. Was Mozgovoi’s camera crew there?
The problem with Mozgovoi is that he will not fight. Who would kill him over that?
Zakharchenko made the statesmanlike gesture of offering Mozgovoi the starring role of putting the lid on the cauldron, LPR making the final assault to join the DNR forces, all the scheming and plotting, insubordination and sedition swept under the rug, and Mozgovoi accepted and then he dogged it.
Kazzura must subtitle so fast he doesn’t actually read the content. He has posted another interview from Debaltsevo in which a journalist asks what is holding up the final offensive. Mozgovoi produces the following meditation as his excuse for his delay.
“Offensive is an interesting thing and one should calculate everything, think everything beforehand in order to attack. Extinguish the enemy firing positions in the first place and only after that one is able to take any action, right?”
He implies that this is a first for him, and on reflection that seems right. Mozgovoi did a lot of defensive fighting, but does anyone recall a single victorious offensive action? He became famous for false reports of his death. Is that more consistent with counterattack or with a rapid departure from the scene when engaged? Around the time of the Manifesto, he explained his long-range strategy (derived from Girkin) as avoiding the risk of casualties which would reduce the number of loyal troops on call when the time came to form a government.
He is also implying that he will not attack until the enemy has no artillery left. His view of the roles of artillery and infantry is novel, to say the least. Perhaps all this contemplation means he’s writing a book? No wonder the central command was left day after day explaining why they were mistaken when they said the lid would go on the pot yesterday, or today, but tomorrow for sure! This went on for about 10 painful days, remember?
Finally, Zakharchenko gave up on him and sent in the 1st DNR Brigade to do the job, during which Mozgovoi strolled in behind the lines to a cleared area and set up a soup kitchen, cameras rolling, and the nascent film company broadcast that “Ghost” was “first into Debaltseve,” a recurrent theme.
Still, if you don’t shoot him at dawn for those sins that carry the death penalty, why would you decide to do it for sleazy self-promotion?
These guys in Novorussia had better be preparing for some serious ‘enhanced’ action down the track. Hopefully Russia is matching the ‘upgrade’ in appropriate ways. Clearly these criminals in Kiev and their hegemonic backers are not going to give up unless they are seriously trounced and shamed internationally. Difficult when their first reaction to defeat is sue for a ‘ceasefire’ and the second is manipulate the msm to present a distorted situation.
“The [300 US] troops will be instructing Ukrainian military in the use of foreign military hardware, Lukashevich said. . . .
“It should not be ruled out that in a month or two from now, with military assistance from the United States, Kiev will launch another offensive against Donbas. By then the Ukrainian armed forces’ commanders and rank-and-file will undergo training under the guidance of US military instructors. Ukrainian laws permit the appointment of foreign specialists to key positions in the country’s armed forces. Kiev’s plan is to build up forces for attaining military victory over the Donetsk and Lugansk republics. The United States and NATO now show military muscle to make Russia drop its support for Donbas,” Sivkov said.

Here is the link…its a fantastic video of survival but really wonderfully done
http://www.cultureunplugged.com/documentary/watch-online/play/3736
Thank you for the video, Ann. I love the music and I was impressed by what the people accomplished with very small means. The man, who built the power stations, was an assistant engineer, not a specialist, but he did what many of us cannot do. The time has come for us to recognize the abilities of people in the Third World. The blacks on Haiti revolted when Napoeon wanted slavery back. Brave and proud French soldiers were defeated with inventive and simple methods in the jungle. According to a rumour, a British expeditionary force was also defeated. I think Haiti has been economically punished for some 200 years. I just learned a similar successful uprising took place in a part of Jamaica for the same reasons. The blacks revolted before Marx said only workers can make a revolution. Manual workers are tenacious and very resourceful. A bushman can run three days and three nights to catch his prey. Who can compete with him? I know a European man who could not work as hard in the fields as the villagers in Burma. He had to pay extra money to the village and he gladly did.
thanks for your comment anon…how are you ?
Chinas foreign minister Wang Yi made a very important statement today which has been reported by ITAR TASS:
“BEIJING, 8 March. /TASS/. Russia and China will jointly support the international peace an security, they will also defend results of World War II, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi told a news conference on Sunday.
“Russia and China are permanent members of the UN Security Council. We shall continue strategic coordination and cooperation for support of the international peace and security,” he said.
“This year, both countries will have large-scale events devoted to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the war against fascism. We shall be supporting each other, support jointly the international peace and defend results of World War II,” the foreign minister said”.
Now this statement by China is very significant for one reason, it indicates the battle lines have now been drawn. Despite the western MSM presstitutes best attempts to invert reality and turn the truth on its head the majority of people and governments worldwide know who the real aggressors are and who the evil scumbags are who think they are “exceptional”. It is also pretty telling that the Chinese state that together with Russia they will defend the results of world war II.
Has anybody ever wondered what the outcome of world war II would have been had Hitler had nuclear weapons ? Well, Hitler has nuclear weapons now, but their downfall will be due to their supreme arrogance, hubris and corruption which ultimately makes them downright stupid and ineffective.
Who is the Enemy? EC President Reportedly Wants to Form European Army
A projected army will help the bloc fight external threats all over the world and show Russia the EU’s serious approach to upholding its values.
I don’t think this is a very good idea. For starters, [G]ATO is likely to get jealous and in their agitated state, start forgetting to lower the toilet seat back down after. Maybe instead they should ask [G]ATO to allow the EU to place a little EU flag decal on each [G]ATO vehicle and be satisfied with that?
Many of the first team leaders were warlords, especially in Lugansk. They took and held territories with many small settlements, relatively unharmed. The civil authorities in many were gone, and so were some jobs, roads, power lines etc. Warlords have civil as well as military control. They took responsibility for law and order in their areas, and the provisional of humanitarian aid (food, medicines etc) where needed.
Because they would not join a common command, they did get a lot less help. Arms they had but humanitarian aid not. This included food for themselves. So they had to find their own funding for everything they did. Some of this would have included shaking down local existing criminals, eg the “mafia” running the main fruit markets (although this was rumoured to already belong to someone high up). A major source of income was illegal coal mines. This led to several gun fights, one killing a Cossack leader. It is believed to have been against official people from Lugansk, with various versions: were they trying to straighten up the Cossacks? or was it that they were competing with Plotnitsky’s coal sales?
Many people believed the latter, so blamed him also for Batman’s murder. If true, it was incredibly clumsy and badly discredited the government there. It may have been designed to discredit him (and not for the first time,as rumors of him being on the take were frequent… so either true or someone really wants him gone). I personally find Plotnitsky unsimpatico, don’t like him at all, but that doesn’t make him guilty of anything. Progress on everything is slower in Lugansk than in Donetsk but maybe he just hasn’t a good enough team.
Warlording includes the sort of things Batman was accused of — running basements. That’s the only way to deal with crime where there is no civil police, no courts and no real jails. Maybe former guests of such basements wish to take revenge, and may not be separatists to start with, and might get (or give) help from SBU.
The attack on Batman was overdone but professional in its results. The attack on Mozgovoi was weak and cowardly, not risking being shot back at, just 3 small mines on the road, remote controlled and then they messed up the timing). Looks like an SBU level of half-hearted amateurish action.
It may do Mozgovoi and his people good to do some military training with other groups. But he seems to be cooperating well enough when needed. In fact I was very impressed on the day of Minsk 2. He was against he, he spoke har4shly against the first one, he’s in favour of a more communist or Soviet style of state. But on Minsk 2, the same day Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky explained to the people why it will be a GOOD thing to stay in Ukraine…. Mozgovoi also made a speech, about his vision for a country (details of components not specified) asking “you” to join together to achieve freedom from oligarchs, freedom from poverty, living in neighborly peacefulness. And never once mentioned state ownership or Russia or any “isms”. So he was absolutely on the same page and very carefully didn’t say a word that might scare the Ukie side.
thanks Kat Kan. I have a hard time understanding all the different personalities in this war. What does Alexi think of Zakharchenko and Plotinski ?
After the first ceasefire Mozgovoi was very critical of the two Prime Minsters. So were most of the other commanders. Even Givi was pulling faces. The feeling was that they’d been sold out, forced to make concessions while the other side was not keeping to any of it.
They may have different ideologies, but they all see they need to be pragmatic and actually build a working state — and that the people are not interested in any “isms”, all they want is peace and jobs and food, and the profits not all going to oligarchs. For the Minsk 2 announcements they had clearly coordinated their statements, so they didn’t say a single word that would be off-putting for Western Ukrainians.
I am sure they will have plenty of arguments over the fine points of how socialist they want to become. They seem to be well agreed that in public they keep to things they’re in agreement on, and which will downplay Ukrainian fears about Russia, Soviet revival and so on. They are all talking less of Nazis, Fascists and “people our grandfathers outfight against” and more about “lawless marauding gangs, ” which is putting the attention on what is happening now, to everyone.
On a more personal level, Mozgovoi probably doesn’t like Plotnitski, who is often accused of being a gangster himself. … probably just because he is not strong enough to control the real ones. There should be no public fighting between them.
does Mozgorov have a political title ? I like what he says….he seems to be a person who could really make changes. I really fear that once the revolution is over,( in any place) that the ‘system’ will remain too much like this old system, that can en-able oligarchs and corruption to resurface.
I haven’t thought this through, and I’m not a analyst, but I think the first thing is to make “kangaroo courts’ instead of ‘taking the criminals to court’….the courts are corruptible and should be given to the law guild…and later, the schools should be given to the teachers…running the schools….the courts should be run by the lawyers guild…hospitals should be run by the medical proffessionals…anyway, that’s just a broad hazy outline…
And then the economy needs to be taken out of the current ‘system’ the same way.
LPR has central administration with Plotniskii at the helm, following November 2 elections (ministers, Supreme Soviet, prosecutors, police, peoples militia).
Mozgovoi does not have a political title. He tried to have military commanders council of Novorossia set out, but that did not materialize. Local elections may be forthcoming, but this may be not something where he would fit well.
LPR is currently “integrating Mozgovoi battalion into LPR”, according to an article about Mozgovoi recommended by Mozgovoi
http://www.politnavigator.net/zachistka-makhnovshhiny-v-lnr-na-ocheredi-prizrak-mozgovogo.html
He seems to be a good person trying to have rule by the people for the people, but all that is outside of LPR formal structures (modeled after those in Ukraine or in Russia). How all this is going to work, I can’t say.
PROOF that there’s a lot of hope for Ukraine
UKRAINE soldiers bring humanitarian aid for ILOVAISK
Recall NAF policy was to let conscripts and regulars out, if they downed weapons. Units (mostly Aidar) that tried to break out armed were mowed down.
http://dan-news.info/defence/byvshie-ukrainskie-siloviki-popavshie-v-ilovajskij-kotel-dostavili-zhitelyam-goroda-35-tonny-gumanitarnoj-pomoshhi.html
Donetsk, March 7 – DAO. Ukrainian ex-soldiers of the security forces, which escaped from an environment in Ilovaiskaya in August last year, gathered for the residents of this city of 3.5 tonnes of humanitarian aid. This agency reported Deputy DPR Recovery Control Center Larisa Goncharuk.
“These are people who were surrounded out there, and who had to then beg the residents for food. Now they, in gratitude, collected 3.5 tons of food and clothing for the victims of war in Ilovaysk. With some difficulty the former security officials agreed with the current ones at the roadblocks to get their car passed “, – said Goncharuk.
According to her, the veterans are going to continue to send aid to the city.
In the period from late August to early September grouping Ukrainian military was surrounded at Ilovaisk. DPR later called this operation the Ilovaisk cauldron. During this, the Ukrainian side suffered heavy losses as killed and wounded, and as prisoners.
Hate breeds hate; decency breeds decency.
Thanks for that news item Kat Kan.
A small step but hopefully one towards a better tomorrow for Ukraine.
People keep saying, why are they so nice to the prisoners? why do they beg them to give up, instead of just shooting them?
In this case it was the people who fed them. People whose town they were occupying and bringing down mortar fire onto.
These are soldiers who’ve gone home and told, by now probably a few thousand, people that there’s no Russian troops here. It’s Ukrainians like us. The people fed us. The enemy let us pass. The POWS the same : they gave me first aid. They shared their food with us. They gave us a shower and clean clothes.
This extremely interesting article about the deep state in Novorossiya and the Kremlin, by ´friend´:

…literally begs for your take on it, mr Saker!
It confirms my ambiguous feelings about mr Strelkov, which I had since his remarks about dead bodies in MH17.
But then, your analysis about his Slaviansk withdrawal made perfect sense to me…
I would really appreciate your opinion!
Did anyone think about a 5-th column within LNR in regards to recent attempts of assassinations? How about battalion “Rusich” and his commander in chief Alexey Milchakov? He’s an extreme-right freak, supposedly trained by GRU specnaz. He’s famous for posting pictures (some 2 years ago) about him brutally killing his own dog.
Now, he’s supposed to fight for “Novorussia”, but is he really? He’s got much more in common with “Aidar” or “Azov” ideology than you could think of.
How about trying to blow up the “Novorussia” project from inside using its most vulnerable part?
I wonder if the mayor’s assassination was also the same people.
