Dear friends,
You might have heard that Hezbollah fighters in Syria have recently made some substantial progress against the Takfiris of IS/Daesh. They have freed several villages and taken control of several key positions near the Syrian border. I hope to get a full report about all this very soon. But today I just wanted to share with you a photo sent to me by a Lebanese friend which depicts a Hezbollah fighter “saluting the Virgin Mary and holding the picture of Her which is dear to their hearts” as my friend put it (this fighter probably found that image either in a destroyed church or inside a Christian home).
One picture does say more than 100 words. Enjoy!
UPDATE: I got four more pictures from my friend:
How truly touching
God Bless…

Syrian Mosque named for Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus Christ.

Of course, you will have a hard time seeing this on CNN, Fox or other MSM.
the kindness of the religious believers is the bullet proof vest of trusting hope
Our Lord Jesus and the Mother of God are Living Powers that are venerated and Holy to Orthodox Christians and to our True Muslim Brothers!
President Vladimir Vladimirovich was spot on when he said that we Orthodox Christians are closer to genuine Muslims than to Western Christians!
As the forces behind ISIS double down on their wager of regime change in Syria, I imagine a sea-change of opinion taking place in Lebanon. Up until this point, as poll results can vary widely, I would put Lebanese Christian support of Hezbollah in the 20 to 40 percent range. But as ISIS, with their Turkish and Gulf money and US arms, continues to conquer territory in Syria, the Christians will line up behind the Shiites. One only look to Syria to see how the Christian community views the conflict; they might not be emphatic about the Assad regime in peacetime, but with the Wahhabists at the gate, they, along with the Shiites sects of the country, were the first to rally behind the government. They can see the writing on the wall if the Takfiris take over. It would simply mean Christians in the Levant would cease to exist.
The Christians in the Bekaa are seeing this as well. http://www.dailystar.com.lb/News/Lebanon-News/2015/Jan-26/285293-ras-baalbek-stands-united-against-isis.ashx
Shiites, with Hezbollah in particular, have for a long time in Lebanon and Syria looked to build a multi-faith, inclusive coalition. Aoun has been aboard since 2006. Jezzine has supported Berri since the days of Israeli occupation. There much common ground and respect. In Islam, Mary is a saint and Jesus is a prophet. Those looking to cleave Christians from Islam reside in Riyadh, not Beirut, Ankara not Tehran.
Armenians in Syria are strong supporters of the Syrian government. It was stunning to see young Muslim men fighting and dying to protect Armenian villages in Syria. What was the West doing other than aiding and abetting the head chopping jihadis in Syria.
The lust in the West for blood is revolting. I never thought I would come to see Iran and Hezbollah as protectors of Christians.
The West is not just post-Christian, it is anti-Christian.
You talking about Hillary Clinton
Very true !
They surely adore and salute Blessed Virgin Mary mother of the Jesus Christ…..They also rang bells when liberate Christian villages.
The Bogoroditsa is very powerful–the power of love that even the Muslims can’t resist
Are you saying Muslims and love don’t equate?
Awww… How sweet… Military salute for the Mother of God…
The icons in image4 are Catholic – the one on the right is the Holy Virgin Mary from the Chapell of the Miraculous Medal in Rue du Bac (Paris):

Sarcasm?
Very nice…
Thank you for sharing!
I’m not religious, but I tried to understand All the great religions.
What many Christians do not know is that Islam is really a “derivative” or perhaps a “continuation” of the Christian religion, which itself is a continuation of the Old Testament (a Jewish story). Thus, Muslims never make fun of Jesus Christ, unlike those Western “Christians” who like to make fun of Mohamed.
Very true.Jesus Christ is thought of as a “Prophet of God” in Islam.I consider it disgusting to attack religion like those with their “cartoons” do.Those people know it offends Muslims to ridicule their faith like that. And do it for that reason only, hiding behind the argument of “free speech” to do it.
Thank you. Well said.
Alan you ‘expert’ opinion is offensive…Like someone who admits to know nothing of horses advising a old time racing trainer which horse to buy. If you’re not even religious then how could you possibly know ?
Am, because:
“but I tried to understand All the great religions.”
The Christian religion is based on accepting Jesus Christ as God.
The Muslims deny that. And so do the followers of the Old Testament.
Son of God.
Every religion is shinto in essence.
Not exactly. The Monotheistic religions believe in one single God Creator. The others have different divinities, including trees, animals or even inanimate objects like rocks in Shintoism. Many years ago the Kamakura City in Japan used to have a website in English where they used to joke about that, saying that Shinto Japanese will worship anything, including a dead fish head, if s/he thought it might be a kami.
Well, some Jews, pray to dead rabbis. So much for your….errrr..their one God religion.
In fact, the owner( Jew) of the horse AmericanPharaoh made his jockey pray on the grave of a dead rabbi. Type title below :

Carmel by the Sea
The Jews insult Christ and the Virgin Mother ( particularly in Israel) whenever they get a chance.
Look up in youtube: israeli jews mock Jesus on t.v ( video)
And the Israeli Jews spit at Christian priests in Jerusalem, they defecate and urinate in the Christian churches. Look up in Jewish Israeli newspaper ( Ha’aretz) ” Christians want Jews to stop spitting on them” ( article)
The ” other followers of the Old Testament” which I noticed you did not mention them by name ((JEWS))are offensive towards Muslims and Christians. Muslims are very respectful of others . Jews, in general are NOT.
Btw…are you Flor Solitaria Sionista? I ask because that sarcasm of yours towards the respect of Muslims towards Christianity is a very particular Jewish trait.
@ mods
Is there something more in my comment at 1:41 PM on June 12 that I don’t see, other than:
“The Christian religion is based on accepting Jesus Christ as God.
The Muslims deny that. And so do the followers of the Old Testament.”
That is all we can see. There is no facility for hiding part of a comment, either on purpose or accidentally.

Thank you for your input. I will keep it for my CV.
Hezbollah are fighters for the Right. And I don’t mean Right Sector. I mean Good, and Right, and True and Brave and Bold and Strong.
Hear hear! :)
Totally agree with your words Ann.
Btw… Those cowardly IDF soldiers got a good beating a while back from the Hezbollah bold and brave fighters.

Thank you.
The spread of the Ottoman Empire was an imperial action, not a religious one. They did happen to be a non-Christian religion. They also had different language and different ethnic origins and different culture (apart from the Muslim aspect of it). So it is false to simplify it down to a simple Muslim-Christian issue. They expanded territory into Catholic and Orthodox lands alike, so can’t be characterised as being particularly against one or the other, either. .
In more recent times (ie early last century) Muslims and Christians lived side by side in peace, in many countries. Even Muslims of different sects were okay with each other, as were Christians of different sects. (And don’t say waddabout Northern Ireland — Protestants were seen as adherents or followers of the British invaders and occupiers. so the enmity was political, not based on difference of dogma).
So what’s all the multi-way fighting about now? the Evil Empire has selectively backed one or the other group to divide and conquer, as usual. Finally people are starting to see they have a common enemy, and that their artificially promoted differences don’t really exist at all, at the levels that truly matter.
Still are, according to the Irish constitution.
But now the perception of ‘invasion’ is political, not ethnic. So unless the majority of Northern Irelanders wish to unite with the South (through referendum), it will continue to remain politically a part of the UK.
@Kat kan
And what about the Turkic Islamic empires that invaded and controlled swaths of Central Asia, Afghanistan and India? Are you going to excuse that away as actions of a different ethnic group with different language and culture and completely whitewash the Sunni Islamic aspect of their documented mass murder of people that did not convert?
Would you say the same about the Portuguese Catholics that murdered real Indian (orthodox) Christians and Hindus that did not convert? Are you willing to give the Portuguese the same “pass” you seem to he giving the Islamic Ottomans and other Muslim Turkic butchers? Was it only ethnocentric nationalism or was religion a big part of the atrocities committed?
It’s stunning that people are willing to blind themselves to the fact that even now, in our faces, in Syria and Iraq, people belonging to a specific sect of Islam are trying to exterminate all other sects (muslim or otherwise) and we’re supposed to believe that Islam (albeit Sunni Wahabist/etc) has nothing to do with what is happening there? That it is solely the product of regional power play and that all those young malicious supremacist ISIS recruits from all over the world joined for supporting the nationalistic objectives of the regional regimes (for the sake of Qatar’s gas pipeline ambitions, Turkey’s power check on Iran, Saudi Arabia’s desire to remain the dominant in the region, etc) and not for theological (salaafi/wahabi) supremacist reasons?
There is a problem in the Islamic world that theology so quickly leads to violence, to say otherwise is to stick your head in the sand and engage in wishful thinking. This is glaringly obvious with certain sects in Sunni Islam. It is also clear that Shia Islam seems to be only major force in the Muslim world that is trying to put a check on theologically inspired violence and intolerance in the Muslim world- an effort that is specific to the Shia forces that reside in the Levant, the same cannot be said of Iran (even Bashar Assad has said this in interviews a few years back). Iran is not as tolerant or as enlightened as the Shia in the Levant: many Shia religious leaders in Iran are persecuted as well as Shia Sufis (who have had their shrines destroyed by the religious authorities), while Sunni Sufis are left alone for security reasons (most of these sunni sufis are in Iranian Balochistan and eschew violence as means of political change in Balochistan). So Iran persecutes Shia sufis as heretics (for theological reasons) and supports sunni sufis (for practical security reasons) because they discourage violent opposition against the Iranian State. Iran is pragmatic in that they acknowledge that Islamic terrorism is a threat to their state and a weakness that outside forces can exploit, so they have taken practical action against the phenomenon, but their actions are based on practicality and not on ideals.
“This will help maintain US superiority over the world”…or words to that effect.

this is old news for those who know the hezbollah apart from the western propaganda potraying them as terrorists..
funny how many deluded americans will reject this fact out of hand , because their deluded mind cannot accept facts and truth … to accept fact / truth meant their whole world of lies will crumble..
cognitive dissonance..
Although Hezbollah is constantly slandered in the zionist-owned ‘western’ presstitutes, it is a fact that the group is not and has never been sectarian and takes pride in that. It could have gone after the odious lebanese christian traitors who helped the israelis during the occupation and wiped them all out. But it never did.
Hezbollah is pragmatic and it preaches union not division.
Even Robert Baer, a former CIA agent in Lebanon, and hostile to Hezbollah, warned of the sectarian bloodbath the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia were planning to unleash. He declared:
“we’ve got Sunni Arabs preparing for cataclysmic conflict, and we will need somebody to protect the Christians in Lebanon. It used to be the French and the United States who would do it, and now it’s going to be Nasrallah and the Shiites”
If it werent for the fact that the other ethnic-sectarian lebanese groups are heavily infiltrated by the CIA/MOSSAD/KSA, i’m certain Hezb would recruit from all lebanese communities. I hear many christians are already volunteering, with the threat of the takfiris looming.
Now, for those who, like me, enjoy seeing dead wahabi loonies, footage showing the aftermath of a recent engagement between hezb and a bunch of isis cockroaches in the Qalamoun;

A trend that has been ongoing for some time now, is the attempt in the
‘west’ to sell Al-CIADA as the new ‘moderates(who never existed in the first place)’ in Syria.
MoA has dissected a piece by the infamous ‘the guardian’;

Luka K, the Western MSM here in Australia is getting more and more sympathetic to Daash. The universal narrative, and the Groupthink as ever is total, is that the real villains are the Shia, particularly evil Iran, plus evil Iraqi Iranian stooges, evil Hezbollah and evil Syria. Daash is falsely described as the product of Shia repression of Iraqi Sunni, and the entire mountain of evidence that Daash was created by the USA, Israel, Saudi Arabia and their stooges is entirely suppressed. The propaganda effort is typically despicable, as you could confidently expect.
Very touching. :)
I think they see their own mothers in the icon of Mariam, the ‘Queen of Heaven’ as she is known to those who venerate her.
If only the religions of the “desert trilogy” (Torah Bible Coran) could disappear from the face of the Earth. . .
Hmmm …by the comment…..I detect a secular Jew.

Beautiful! God bless them and protect them.

A vast rift exists between these noble Hezbollah soldiers and their enemy: the rabid Wahhabis that serve the interests of the Anglo-Zionist Empire.
The latter destroy, plunder and defile all that doesn’t conform to their interpretation of religion, but the former show sincere respect for the symbols of other peoples’ faith.
I’m not a very religious person myself, but I found these images truly moving.
Godspeed, Hezbollah. May Allah safeguard you and your families and deliver you to victory!
have always admired hezbollah. christians in lebanon and syria love them too.
This is realy islam.
Good
I wish we see that in the West on mainstream media.
The fourth one, are you sure it’s hezbollah in syria? Some are saying that’s Yugoslavia or Kosovo
How beautiful, thank you, Hezbollah! (Thanks, Saker.) God bless you, Hezbollah, Iran and Russia for helping Syria against the international, Nato, Israel and US-backed terrorists who invaded Syria!
