Motorola’s home address was published online in spring 2015

Donetsk street address of Motorola was revealed by a Donetsk blogger veselchak_jk. He found a car that Motorola gave to his wife as a birthday present.

In 2014, someone made a video while visiting him at his apartment.

There are some details to keep in mind in regard to this murder:

  1. It’s not at all convincing that he was killed. Someone was killed, but we don’t know until we have the Police report. Images circulating online depicts a body without a head. The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in Donbas OSCE representative refused to confirm his murder. He had a security guard with him who also was killed, but this second victim’s head was attached.
  2. As you can see from the second video, he used to walk up to his apartment, which is on the second floor.
  3. A journalist from Komsomolskaya Pravda, reported that the explosives were lowered on the roof of the elevator on a rope. REN TV reported that an explosive device was attached to a suspension cable that secures a suspended frame of an elevator.
  4. Video of the crime scene and bodies here

Motorola lived in a high-rise apartment building. Anyone who ever lived in this sort of buildings would know that it’s easy to get an access to the elevator shaft just by force opening the doors apart with your bare hands. We used to do this as kids, for the thrill of it. It’s also not that difficult to grab a metal cable and to affix something to it. It could be done from any floor. No one would ever noticed, especially if it’s done by a kid or a woman.
