In a recent interview published on the Islam asil YouTube channel, Sunni Lebanese Sheikh Ghazi Yusuf Hunayna stated that ‘within only 10 years, the Resistance Axis managed to shift the global balance of power’.
The ‘Resistance Axis’ referenced here by Sheikh Hunayna broadly refers to a strategic anti-Israel/anti-US imperialist alliance composed of, but not limited to, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Iraq’s Hashed al-Shaabi, Yemen’s Ansarullah, and various Palestinian armed factions.

Sheikh Ghazi Yusuf Hunayna, Sunni Lebanese Scholar:
There is no doubt that the Islamic Unity Project – or so to put it more precisely and broadly, that the Resistance Axis Project – is facing a very big opponent, which is the United States, along with several Western states, the Zionist lobby, and a great deal of Arab hypocritical states that are unfortunately secretly colluding behind the scenes with the Zionist enemy and with the American enemy. This Islamic Unity Project and this Resistance Axis Project is facing all of these enemies with, of course, a clear disproportion in (each side’s) capabilities.
The Americans and their allies have a huge media apparatus as well as strong financial capabilities. It is correct that we are still treading the first steps of (establishing) the authentic Muhammadan Islamic media, which calls for the unity of the (Muslim) nation, (which promotes) the culture of Islamic unity among the members of the Ummah and the renunciation of disagreement and of fragmentation.
In addition, we hold on to the Resistance Axis Project along with the idea of the Islamic Unity Project for the sake of liberating Palestine, thereby leading other sides to unite against us and (seek to) influence our internal coherence. However, this does not mean that we are not concerned about cultural, social, and political issues in terms of the Islamic Unity Project, (in contrast), the project shoulders additional dimensions.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is concerned with addressing such topics, but we must keep in mind the Resistance Axis (in comparison with the) other side’s capabilities. However, despite the imbalance in capabilities, we were able, and within 10 years (only), to alter the international equations (in our favour).
The Security Council was led by a singular pole, which is the United States, however, today a tripartite international balance has been generated consisting of America-Russia-China. With Russia and China stands the allies: Syria, Iran, Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, Venezuela, and many other free states of the world.
Therefore, within the (context) of the Islamic Unity Project we must expand the scope of our work and build and open (new) bridges (that connect us) with others, even though we know that those others whom we hope will reach the same awareness that we have reached are experiencing a lot of pressure that might even threaten their livelihoods and occupations.
It appears we have come full circle from the ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ doctrine of sowing wahabbi discord in the Middle East. It was Cptn Philby the British imperial spy, partner to Cpt Lawrence, who conjured the brand name ‘ikhwan warriors’ to fool a generation of Bedouins to become the Anglozionist empire’s mercenary murder force and carve Arabia into vassal protectorates.
The vicious depredations of the Anglozionist’s modern ‘ikhwans’ known as ISIS’, ‘Al qaeda’ and whatever other new joke names the modern Philbys conjure up have initiated the rediscovery by Muslims of their faith. IKRA – READ! The faith of learning and human empathy and tolerance. Where 3% of your wealth is redistributed annually to the poor. Where citizen armies rather than mercenaries protect the state. Where other faiths are respected “to you your faith, to me mine”. Where dialectic religious debate is not between amphetamine doped headchoppers, but between learned scholars.
In the Resistance Axis, the Anglozionist Philbys have provoked the very thing they sought to destroy. The Almighty works in mysterious ways! :-)
Merry Christmas to our Christian brethren and may the new year usher in the fairer, multipolar world where ALL humanity is valued!
Indeed, the very first command from the lord GOD to the (entire umma of) prophet Muhammad PBUH—yet abandoned / forgotten by the most of the umma today—is Iqra (اقرأ).
Que todas as nações oprimidas estejam ao lado do eixo da residência, contra as forças arrogantes do império anglo sionista.
What the Sheik said is true. All the more so because it comes from a Sunni cleric, thus belying the lie that there is a Sunni-Shiite division in the Muslim world. The real division is between the those Muslims who already belong to the Axis of Resistance and those Muslims who still prostrate themselves for crumbs from the Anglo Zionazi Capitalist high table.
Still, I don’t think China supplying the tech for ballistic missiles to Wahhabi Saud a positive development in the grand scheme.
The Chinese are pragmatists, they follow no ideology. They will sell anything to anyone for profit.
But they will not sell arms to the Iranian Resistance, because the Zionist regime forbids it.
As I understand it, the Chinese have excellent relations with Iran going back to the Islamic Revolution – after an initial hiccup. They have helped them to create their own armaments industry, notably shore based anti-ship missiles, to the considerable discontent of the USA.
If there was any credible evidence of it. It would, however, be a particularly useful bit of disinformation is sowing discord between China and Iran if enough people believe it.
Disinformation? Hardly.
Chinese-Saudi relations are not limited to these ballistic missiles. See for example:

China (and Russia) have a deep interest in maintaining the balance of power in the Middle East. The last thing either of them wants is for Iran to become the uncontested regional hegemon. The Middle East’s regional hegemony automatically translates into a major world superpower (hence the Zionists setting up shop there), and situated in such a position geographically as to be able to dictate terms and policy to the West, Russia, and China.
So, aside from the Zionists outright telling Russia and China who to sell weapons to (the Saudis) and whom not to sell to (Iran), it is also in Russia and China’s self-interest to prop up the Saudis (and the Israelis) to prevent Iran from becoming too powerful.
This, in a word, is pragmatism. China and Russia do not care who the good guy is and whether the Saudis are genocidal, or whether the Zionists are criminally insane. Like the West, they will support whoever, as long as it is in their interest to do so.
Iran and the Resistance Axis are different, in that they put ideology at least on par with pragmatism, if not ahead of it. The evidence for this is Iran’s refusal to sit at the same table with the US, where China and Russia do sit, and Iran’s refusal to recognize the Zionist entity as anything more than an occupying entity, where the rest of the world recognize it as a legitimate nation.
In simple terms, Russia and China recognize the Zionist regime, and sit at the same table with the US, because of pragmatism, ie. they can benefit from doing so. Iran refuses, because of ideology, eg. because the US is the Great Satan, and the Zionist pseudo-state is the seat of the Antichrist, and any benefit from dealing with them is an illusion.
For the sake of argument, if Russia were an Orthodox Christian Republic, instead of whatever it is now, would it still negotiate with the US, the ultimate source of global filth? Would it recognize the terrorist Zionist regime? Would it sell weapons to the hypocrite par excellence, Saudi Arabia? (The same questions for China.)
So, the root of the problem is seemingly a lack of Faith in the political systems of the world. And the Iranian Resistance is the only power in the world which adheres to Faith, and it is the only power with the guts to strike at the US military and tell the Israelis that they have no right to exist.
Thanks Bob. It does make a lot of sense. I agree with this sort of conclusion: “So, the root of the problem is seemingly a lack of Faith in the political systems of the world”. I tend to think that we will have to go through all kinds of pain to grow in Faith.
@Bob
Yours is another piece of disinformation that tries to put Russia and China in the same basket. A good tactic that was useful to stir suspicion amongst the resistance. But that tactic doesn’t work now.
You intentionally forgetting that China inked a 25-year deal worth $400 billion with Iran. They’re the major oil importer from Iran. That itself is a proof that China wants a strong Iran.
As for the report that you mentioned, it doesn’t say at all that China supports KSA’s nuclear weapons program. It’s a civil nuclear program like that of Iran. The report itself mentions that.
Regarding your accusation that Russia supports the Zionist state, that’s a statement without evidence. A good example that Russia doesn’t support Israel is the increasing amount of Israeli missiles that the Syrians are able to put down. Russia doesn’t want to get in the middle of Iran-Israel fight because the Zionists haven’t directly attacked the Russian military.
You’re using a single report without concrete evidence to imply that Russia and China is in the US/Israel camp. Cheap propaganda I’d say.
Why not? As Khamenei always says, the Saudis don’t have a future, and the weapons will fall into the hands of the resistance one way or another. So let them make missiles and store them as much as they want!
Before the Iranian revolution USA had sold F14 airplanes to Iran as the only country in the world. Iran is flying them till this day!

It is true innocent people were being killed left and right in Muslim countries, and many of us decided to do nothing and to say nothing.
