How long before refugees from Western Ukraine turn up in the Donbass to get a meal? (why not? it works for their surrendering soldiers).

    • the master on February 26, 2015  ·  at 9:55 pm EST/EDT

      Yeah,
and then because of shelling they will all run more eastwards to Russia as fugitives…
and in this way USA accomplishes what wanted, Usraine without Russian ethnic people.
And as a bonus even more agents among the Ukrainians in Russian cities ready for terror vengeance and overthrow of Putin.

    • Uncle Bob on February 26, 2015  ·  at 10:03 pm EST/EDT

For years now Western Ukrainians have been a big part of the Ukrainian workers going to Russia (land of the hated Moskal, brrr!).There has also over the years been Western Ukrainians moving into the Russian speaking Southeast to try to make a living. They account for much of what pro-nazi support there is in the Novorossian areas.

    British media:
The Guardian actually has reviewed Sakwa’s book Frontline Ukraine:
    http://www.theguardian.com/books/2015/feb/19/frontline-ukraine-crisis-in-borderlands-richard-sakwa-review-account

Includes good line: “”Nato exists to manage the risks created by its existence”

    The book seems very promising.

    More UK media:
Today (26.02.15) on BBC Radio 4 Today programme – THE mainstream’s mainstream – Rupert Wingfield-Hayes reported from Mariupol (just after 8.30am). Firstly he sees Ukie military arrest/disarm each other at a checkpoint, commenting how it shows the ‘complications’ of the conflict, and secondly, in town he finds people think the Novorussians could not have bombed them because they’re “on our side”….

    Meanwhile…
Litvinenko case faded from focus for now, maybe becuase Mrs L. confirmed Putin is a paedophile with this evidence: she saw him lift a boy high in the air in ‘Red Square’ and kiss his stomach. The sort of idiocy that could only alert people to something being wrong…

    • m_silenus on February 26, 2015  ·  at 10:39 pm EST/EDT

      About kissing a boy’s belly
This is from an old Soviet movie – “Peter the Great” where the Tzar kisses the bottom of his baby son :)
Westerners might not be able to understand this.

I don’t find it strange at all.One of the games parents play with kids is kissing or putting their mouths on the kid’s belly and blowing out.It has a tickle effect and kid’s love it and laugh their heads off when you do it to them.I’ve done it,and seen it done all my live. When I was a kid my relatives did it to me.The West,as Saker said once,is a sick society. We want to think everything is perverted.

    • TR on February 27, 2015  ·  at 8:21 am EST/EDT

Oh yes, Westerners may well be able to understand this.
Maybe not the most inhibited Protestants, or the “elite”.
We all know how babies and little children need hugs and kisses. And let’s not forget President Putin is reported to have had, not only two daughters, now adult, from his late marriage, but also a son in 2009 and another child in 2012. If true (I tend to believe it, please tell me if it is likely to be wrong), though he might find he doesn’t have enough time for them, we can be sure he is quite used to cuddle little ones! ;-)

Soon, the symbolism of the Titanic sinking to the bottom of the ocean will be replaced in common speech by the term Ukraine.

Lost at sea, with 35 million Russo-Ebonic-speaking, neo-European, goose-stepping simpletons who lost a war, a nation and their identity to thieving billionaires and technocrats from the West.

    Ukraine: sinkhole on the steppes.

    • Kat Kan on February 26, 2015  ·  at 8:44 pm EST/EDT

Those sinkholes can become REAL if they go ahead with fracking. The slightest earth tremor from that, guess what happens to those huge coal mines? tough luck if they happen to have a village on top.

What’s happenning right now regards separatists tanks moving towards Mariupol?… Is that true?.. As all the western media hysterically reporting that as a fact!

I have read an analysis regarding access to Pridnestrovie. The area (and Russian contingent) might be totally blocked in case of further escalation in the region. The only way to break blockade would be potential naval access (perhaps via new rebel controlled area?). This might be an attempt to position air defence in order to prevent air supplies / attacks?

Argentina judge rules against the Zionist plot to ruin the President now that she’s brought Argentina close to China and Russia.

There may be appeals of his ruling, but for now, the obvious plot is exposed as a failure.

Sadly, one dead man. But he may have discovered the real truth was the Mossad did the bombing to blame Hezbollah and Iran.

Argentina Judge Throws Out Case Against President in Jewish Center Bombing

Judge Daniel Rafecas said he threw out the case because the documents that Nisman originally filed failed to meet the standards needed to open a formal judicial investigation. Fernández de Kirchner has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, saying that “from the very beginning, this was a plot concocted by my enemies to try to bring my government down.”

She alleged that two US hedge funds who are involved in a long legal dispute over payments of Argentina’s debt might be behind this case, trying to replace her administration with one that will be more willing to agree to creditors’ demands. Argentina renegotiated its $100 billion debt with a majority of its bondholders except for those two hedge funds — NML Capital and Aurelius Capital Management, both of whom have demanded full repayment of the nearly $2 billion they are owed and have sued Argentina.

At an economic forum last fall in Buenos Aires, Fernández de Kirchner charged that US interests and political enemies in Argentina were trying to topple her government and could even try to harm her physically. “If something were to happen to me, and I am serious, don’t look to the East, please look up to the North.”

Donetsk Withdraws 90% of Heavy Weaponry From Line Of Contact – DPR Leader

Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) leader Alexander Zakharchenko said that Kiev must start the withdrawal until 7:00 Moscow time [16:00 GMT] Friday, otherwise the republic will return its heavy weapons to where they were on February 12, 2015, the day when reconciliation agreements were signed in Minsk.

Ukraine military has begun heavy weapons withdrawal – military spokesman

“In accordance with the agreement reached in Minsk on February 12, today Ukraine begins withdrawal of 100mm artillery from the disengagement line. It’s the first step towards withdrawal of heavy weapons, which will only be carried out under OSCE monitoring and verification,” the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

100mm is light artillery and barely represents the tip of the iceberg of what the junta’s nazi queens need to pull back. Given the zionazi-pindo attitude to agreements these nazis have consistently shown, I doubt they will even do the little they claim they are doing.

  13. JP on February 26, 2015  ·  at 9:56 pm EST/EDT

It took the Syrians, Egyptians and Somalis a very short time to figure out Uncle Sam’s help is actually causing destruction. Ukrainians in the western part of the country are such mindless cowards, they would sell their children to be the next slaves of the EU. No surprise that the Central and Eastern hard working people of Ukraine are the only ones fighting the poisoned cookies of Nuland and fascist looting of their country while they starve and watch the destruction. Who do they think is going to save them? Western Ukraine can starve to death while giving the middle finger to their neighbor Russia. Ukrainians in Kiev get the Darwin Award for fashioning the rope to hang themselves and the Empire too.

    Quote of the year :

“””So yes, knowing the truth does make one free, and the truth is the most powerful empire-buster ever invented. It brought down the USSR and it will bring down the AngloZionists too. It is just a matter of time now.””- Saker

    Media news:

Kerry Asks Congress for Fatter Propaganda Budget

Stressing the need to counter the influence of RT, Secretary of State John Kerry asked Congress for more money to “promote democracy” around the world.

Boosting Media Funding Fails to Help US Strengthen Positions Globally – RT

“I’m afraid it is not about money. The US government sees us as a threat because we show people what they want to see – an alternative worldview,” she added.

RT is available around-the-clock to 700 million international viewers.

‘US spends millions on overseas propaganda, but no one is buying it’

Despite the US’ bottomless PR budget to influence overseas, people are not attracted by what’s on offer as they are tired of US interventionism, exceptionalism, and the bombing of their countries, Daniel McAdams of the Ron Paul Institute told RT.

An example of the “Conchita Wurst” style of zionazi-pindo propaganda:

CNN’s Usual Suspect: Does US Network Really Think Putin is Jihadi John?

CNN has done it again. Apparently the secret identity of ISIL killer ‘Jihadi John’ is Russian President Vladimir Putin.

    Another:

‘True story!’ MSM spins theory that Putin hijacked MH370 and landed it in Kazakhstan

Anti-Russia propaganda over Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was bad enough. Now one CNN aviation analyst is blaming Russia for the missing MH370 plane as well – and the Western press is eating it up.

One of the aviation experts consulted by CNN during the MH370 coverage has now claimed that Russia hijacked the plane. In a lengthy feature for New York magazine, Jeff Wise proposed a theory that MH370 was hijacked by Vladimir Putin (who else?) and landed at the “slowly crumbling” Baikonur Spaceport.

Rubbish as the zio-media is, the quisling scum Israel uses to run its bootlick colonies are no better:

Kremlin Aide Slams UK Defense Secretary for Comparing Russia to ISIL

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov deplored recent remarks by UK Defense Secretary Michael Fallon who stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin poses as great a threat to Europe as the Islamic State jihadist group.

“We are sorry about the statements like you have mentioned. Definitely they do not contribute to cooperation, they do not contribute to security they do not contribute to our secure and predictable future. They do not reflect the reality,” Peskov said Wednesday in a phone interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.

If John Kerry would stay out of Western media, Westerners might be inclined to watch it.
When Fox News interviewed Yatz, it seemed like the Fox employee wanted to kill himself.
Because Western politicians lie to the public, Yatz seems to think he can get away with it too.
“…Leaders of the free world…. fighting for our independance…” -what a load of manure.

As a U.S. citizen, I say that I have no enemies in Russia. At the same time, it is regretful that I have no friends there either. Still, I wish the best for all of Russia -especially for Novorossia.

Thank you, Saker and Saker Community. Please keep telling the truth.

I am very grateful that, as a result of a freelance project, I made a friend in Russia, staying in contact with him after the end of the project. He has a wife, a son and daughter. His mother served in the Red Army as a young woman. She died at about the same time my own mother died. I have seen snapshots of this wonderful old babushka, wearing a jaunty beret, with her granddaughter. Also, of her as a young woman in a Red Army uniform, then dressed chicly a la forties. These individuals for me stand in for all Russians; I am so happy to know them via email. The Russians are, a people who, collectively, have historically suffered to a degree that most Americans cannot conceive of. Perhaps some African Americans can look back on a comparable road. They have prevailed, a country in which ca. 23 million serfs were liberated and against inconceivable odds created a modern country within 100 years.

5 Reasons Why Arab Spring States are Dumping Obama and Reaching for Russia

As Obama’s foreign policy falters, even former US allies are turning toward Russia for support. In February, high-profile visits to Moscow were made by Libya’s prime minister and Yemen’s ruling coalition. On February 10, Putin made a visit to Egypt which has been labelled as historic by analysts, and led to multiple high-level visits since.

However, the leaders are not only seeking access to Russia’s historically strong military industry, but also its economic cooperation and political clout at the United Nations Security Council as they realize that dealing with the United States is a dead end. There are five main reasons why post-Arab Spring states are yearning for Russia’s support.

    These are:

    1. The US Only Provides Weapons When it Serves Its Doctrine

    2. Infrastructure Projects With the West Mean IMF Debt Traps

    3. The US Cannot Solve the Problems Which Caused the 2011 Protests

    4. The US Relationship With Gulf Monarchies Makes Conflict Resolution Impossible

Provocation? NATO Conducts Military Maneuvers 300 Yards From Russia’s Border

Narva has 85% of Russian population. It’s clear that NATO is trying to subjugate the local Russians into submission.
Narva was built by the Emperor of Russia Peter the Great on the Baltic Sea territories he purchased for gold from the Queen Ulrika.

All the talks about the Baltic “countries” being occupied by Russia is a lie. The money 5mln in gold were never repaid to Russia by the Baltic “countries.” It’s estimated worth is about 1 trillion dollars.

It was not only my feeling. The hostility of the media towards Russia here in Germany is really the worst.
“The Russian Institute for Strategic Studies introduced its first-ever World Mass Media Hostility Index, which measures potential anti-Russian bias in the media publications of different countries, and then assigns each country an overall score.”
During 2014, Germany had the largest amount of significant publications about Russia – 8,929 and it has by far the highest proportion of negative publications – 7,838.

This seems to be the official US position 26th Feb

    U.S. Mission to the OSCE
As delivered by Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Kate Byrnes
    to the Permanent Council, Vienna
    February 26, 2015

One year ago, the corrupt former President of Ukraine abandoned his office and the people of Ukraine took their opportunity to choose a future based on democracy, free trade, and rule of law. In response, Russia occupied and attempted to annex a portion of Ukraine’s sovereign territory, where it has systematically persecuted ethnic minorities and others who oppose the occupation. It has also sparked a conflict that has left more than 5,700 people dead, and displaced nearly 1.5 million. During the course of the conflict, Ukraine – supported by the international community – has made several efforts to find diplomatic solutions to the crisis – in Geneva, Normandy, Berlin, Moscow and Minsk. A very clear and sobering pattern has developed. After intense diplomatic effort, an agreement is reached. Both sides make commitments, but only one side implements them. Time and again Russia and the separatists it backs fail to implement their commitments.
