On February 9th, the Donetsk republic authorities announced that the regime in Kiev was behind the assassination of Mikhail Sergeyevich Tolstykh, nom de guerre Givi. They also claim that they know who were individuals, involved in this crime. Igor Mosiychuk, a Rada deputy representing the “Radical party,” an ultra-radical nationalist known for his alleged involvement in intimidation of the fellow members of the parliament, kidnapping and other criminal activities.
This is one of those times when I sincerely wish I had been proven wrong and that those who criticized me for raising the alarm following the murder of Motorola had been proven right. Three nice videos: the first one has Givi dancing at his birthday party and since the tune he is dancing to is a modernized version of a traditional Cossack song, I added a second video with footage of the Russian military with a Russian-Chechen interpretation of the same song. The last video is the original Cossack version (which then repeats the “Russian-Chechen” version). Enjoy!
There has been a lot of criticisms of the battalion “Somali” and Givi for the way they treated the junta’s prisoners, including the Colonel who, apparently, was the commander of the junta’s 93rd Brigade.
